Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 720： Polling Sides With Keeping Trans Athletes Out Of Women's Sports

00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:00:15.580 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

00:00:20.840 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:00:25.120 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:00:27.040 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:00:28.200 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.

00:00:31.160 It's going to happen.

00:00:32.440 And where do people like that go to share the big line?

00:00:35.820 MAGA Media.

00:00:37.160 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:00:42.580 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:00:46.380 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:00:52.640 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.

00:00:58.200 It's like you right now should come out and be like, you know what?

00:01:04.580 The young man who's about to win the state championship and the long jump in female sports,

00:01:08.940 that shouldn't happen.

00:01:10.640 You as the governor should step out and say no.

00:01:12.480 No, and I appreciate it.

00:01:13.800 But like, would you do something like that?

00:01:15.280 Would you say no men in female sports? 0.99

00:01:16.740 Well, I think it's an issue of fairness.

00:01:18.360 I completely agree with you on that.

00:01:19.960 So that's easy to call out, the unfairness of that.

00:01:22.080 There's also a humility and a grace that these poor people are more likely to commit suicide, 1.00

00:01:28.020 have anxiety and depression.

00:01:29.660 And the way that people talk down to vulnerable communities is an issue that I have a hard

00:01:34.700 time with as well.

00:01:35.900 So both things I can hold in my hand.

00:01:38.380 How can we address this issue with the kind of decency that I think is inherent in you,

00:01:43.680 but not always expressed?

00:01:48.060 Okay, Friday 7, March, year of early, 2025.

00:01:50.580 A lot to get through in this hour, and we're going to do it all.

00:01:55.340 This is, I want to do this because Charlie Kirk was on the first podcast of Governor Gavin Newsom.

00:02:01.440 It's gone viral, like mega viral.

00:02:03.100 And one of the reasons is, I don't know, Gavin Newsom threw a few of his core beliefs over the side.

00:02:09.480 Like, far be it for me to say that he was getting ready to run in 2028 and wanted to get more to the center.

00:02:15.480 But when I saw this particularly, I had to ask two of the warriors that have been at the front line of this fight forever.

00:02:22.580 Carrie Sheffield from the Independent Woman's Voice and our beloved Terry Schilling from American Principles Project.

00:02:31.160 Carrie Sheffield, I want to start with you.

00:02:34.100 Could you believe that was Gavin Newsom, or was he having an out-of-body experience, ma'am?

00:02:39.480 Hey, Steve.

00:02:42.540 I can believe it was him because he's a panderer.

00:02:45.060 That's who he is.

00:02:45.980 And he also doesn't have any core values because he's just a puppet for putting the finger in the wind.

00:02:52.800 And he sees this as an 80-20 issue at least.

00:02:56.040 And so that's why he's doing this.

00:02:57.540 But let's not forget, I am old enough to remember that he was trying to punish parents who were upset for schools for transitioning their children without their permission.

00:03:07.520 So I don't trust him. 0.91

00:03:10.600 I think he's a snake. 0.99

00:03:11.600 I think he's an opportunist. 0.66

00:03:13.400 That being said, as you're right, at Independent Women's Forum, we've been at the forefront of defending women's sports.

00:03:19.420 But this goes beyond just sports.

00:03:21.080 It's also about women's shelters, women's prisons.

00:03:24.360 Let's see if he—because California is ground zero for shipping off men into women's prisons. 1.00

00:03:30.260 And there we hear reports of alleged rapes and assaults by men being shipped by yours truly, Gavin Newsom, by the government of California, allowing this to happen.

00:03:40.680 So I respect that perhaps he might be having a change of thought here.

00:03:46.300 We'll see.

00:03:47.140 The proof will be in the pudding.

00:03:50.360 Terry Schilling, I remember, you know, with what Kerry just said that you told me one time that, hey, it's all going to be about California because that's the railhead of this quite dangerous transgender ideology. 1.00

00:04:04.360 And I think all of us are old enough to remember, as Kerry said, that Gavin Newsom was kind of the leader of the pack of this, correct?

00:04:13.660 So is this something where you guys should just take the win because this guy's had a metanoia?

00:04:18.440 He's had a change of heart or a change of being?

00:04:21.300 Or do you think he's just a narcissistic opportunist? 0.67

00:04:25.640 Terry Schilling. 0.54

00:04:26.560 No.

00:04:27.220 Look, Steve, the real deal here is, you know, words are cheap.

00:04:31.460 Talk is cheap, right?

00:04:32.440 We need action.

00:04:33.140 He needs to sign an executive order.

00:04:35.320 He can do this.

00:04:36.420 And he can say simply that he's upholding civil rights law, right?

00:04:39.440 That's where Title IX is.

00:04:41.700 That's in civil rights law. 0.92

00:04:43.340 He can sign an executive order.

00:04:44.540 And it can actually be in response to President Trump's threats to withhold federal funding for states that put boys in girls' sports, right, endangering girls.

00:04:54.540 This is – I just want to point out how groundbreaking President Trump's actions are on this, Steve.

00:04:59.620 Name the last time a Republican president ever withheld federal funding from a state over any issue, right?

00:05:06.700 It's the women's sports issue.

00:05:07.960 It's the women's safety issue. 1.00

00:05:09.620 President Trump is the biggest champion, not just for families, but for women.

00:05:13.860 He's killing the Democrats on this issue.

00:05:15.800 I was at the State of the – well, the not State of the Union the night.

00:05:19.340 The Democrats couldn't clap for these female athletes that had their faces smashed in and had their entire athletic careers destroyed. 1.00

00:05:28.980 They wouldn't even support them.

00:05:30.480 It's a brave new world.

00:05:32.080 It's absolutely beautiful.

00:05:33.140 President Trump's changed the game, but we're winning.

00:05:35.520 So we don't care what Gavin Newsom does.

00:05:37.480 He is genuflecting.

00:05:38.560 It's a big tell that we're winning this fight, that he's having to genuflect to this issue, but he has to back it up with actions.

00:05:44.860 He's got to sign something into law.

00:05:48.800 Kerry, is that – do you read the same way he's genuflecting now to the fact that we've taken the high ground on this issue, which is essentially common sense?

00:05:56.240 And your point, it's an 80-20, that Gavin Newsom, understanding he wants to be a national figure, he's going to run against Stephen A. Smith and Mark Cuban and others, that he's seen the light and realizes that he's been way too radical in this.

00:06:08.600 He's got to get to the center on this issue.

00:06:10.600 And if you don't get to the center on this issue, you're just not viable as a national political figure, ma'am.

00:06:17.360 Yes, I agree with Terry.

00:06:18.860 By the way, I love that we're having war room communication.

00:06:21.380 But Terry and I both in card.

00:06:23.820 I love that.

00:06:24.540 Well, you know, we're in the trenches.

00:06:26.840 So I'm here in Palm Beach, backfiring card.

00:06:30.180 But, yeah, Terry's spot on.

00:06:34.060 Let's not forget also this week that the U.S. Senate had a chance to ratify the House bill that Speaker Johnson pulled through to protect women's sports.

00:06:43.860 And there was basically, correct me if I'm wrong, Terry, unanimous Democrat opposition to this bill.

00:06:49.840 And they killed it.

00:06:50.900 The Republicans only had 51 votes, so they couldn't overcome the filibuster until this bill right now is dead.

00:06:56.900 And so that is truly upsetting for us at Independent Women's Voice because this is an 80-20 issue.

00:07:04.780 In fact, a majority of Democrats do not want men in women's sports.

00:07:09.060 So these Democrats who voted against this, that 45 Democrats, they are going against the majority of their own base.

00:07:16.720 And as far as Gavin Newsom is concerned, the fact is that he's kind of desperate right now because of how terribly he's mismanaged the fires.

00:07:26.220 And I hope the people of California do not forget this.

00:07:30.720 I'm old enough again to remember that when he completely botched it.

00:07:34.960 And then he tried to do a romance or a bromance with President Trump because President Trump was riding high on his electoral victory, his historic victory.

00:07:45.240 And so I just, I think the uttering competence of how Gavin Newsom has driven people out of his state.

00:07:54.000 There's so much that he has to do to unroll his damage that he's been inflicting on his own people.

00:07:59.760 It is shocking that for California's first time in his history under Gavin Newsom, it has lost population and it's lost congressional districts.

00:08:08.620 So, again, it has to do with the way they bankroll illegal immigrants, the way they, their housing and their zoning, the EV mandates.

00:08:18.480 I mean, this is, the gender stuff is just the tip of the iceberg as to the failures of Gavin Newsom.

00:08:24.800 And I just hope, I believe the American people have enough common sense to see through his snake oil.

00:08:32.720 Well, let's talk about some of the common sense.

00:08:34.960 Let's go, I think, Harry Enten at CNN, I want to play you a little bit of polling, then I want to bring both you guys back in the conversation.

00:08:41.700 Let's go and hit it.

00:08:44.600 In another tariff twist, President Trump started threatening new tariffs as soon as tomorrow on Canadian dairy and lumber, a product used extensively in building homes.

00:08:55.160 Listen to this.

00:08:55.740 Canada has been ripping us off for years on tariffs for lumber and for dairy products, 250 percent.

00:09:06.160 Nobody ever talks about that, 250 percent.

00:09:08.960 Okay.

00:09:09.460 It's a Friday afternoon.

00:09:10.900 It's a Friday afternoon.

00:09:13.520 That's called a goof. 0.95

00:09:16.000 Do we have the clip?

00:09:17.680 Can we go and play it?

00:09:18.680 No.

00:09:19.260 Terrific.

00:09:19.700 We have some polling, Terry Schilling, that shows that Americans overwhelmingly, and this is CNN, Harry Enten, says that Americans overwhelmingly support the common sense, the common sense revolution that you've been talking about.

00:09:36.400 What is it going to take, back to Kerry's point, what is it going to take to get the U.S. Senate to move off the dime here and move this kind of legislation that's very common sense about this and actually start to codify because we can't depend upon executive orders forever?

00:09:52.860 All right.

00:09:53.520 So, Steve, this is where I get really fired up because this is proof in the pudding that politics is upstream of culture.

00:10:02.620 We've been saying this.

00:10:03.600 I mean, this fight did not come from academia.

00:10:06.540 This fight, this pushback didn't come from Hollywood.

00:10:09.220 It happened because President Trump jumped in the arena and he saved the day and made this an issue.

00:10:14.780 So, what that poll showed on the CNN segment, and this is the second time they've run that segment, so they want these Democrats to moderate on it.

00:10:22.220 But it showed that before the election, before Trump had actually taken office and run on this, the support for this issue was at 63 percent.

00:10:30.300 After President Trump signed that executive order and campaigned on it, the support for it was 79 percent in support and 19 percent against.

00:10:39.880 This is now a super-duper majority, Steve.

00:10:43.300 What other issue is a four-to-one, right?

00:10:45.860 It's a four-to-one margin.

00:10:47.060 For every one person that wants men and women's sports, there's four others that don't, right?

00:10:51.780 So, here's where this changes, Steve.

00:10:54.340 We're going to get to 60 votes eventually.

00:10:56.460 They're either going to feel the pressure from voters, and I want to come back on next week with some of our plans.

00:11:01.320 We're doing a poll in Georgia to show the numbers.

00:11:03.660 It's going to be very strong.

00:11:04.880 But they need to feel the pressure from voters.

00:11:07.740 They need to get the phone lines lit up.

00:11:09.880 And so we need the war room posse to light these guys' phone lines up.

00:11:13.100 But they've got to start losing more elections over this.

00:11:15.300 I think we will get to 60 votes in the Senate for this if we win the next midterm and we win the next presidential when these issues are central.

00:11:23.860 I think it could come sooner.

00:11:25.640 If we win this next midterm, they would have lost a presidential election and then the midterms.

00:11:30.440 That's unheard of.

00:11:31.260 If they don't moderate, they are going to keep killing themselves.

00:11:34.660 We have to keep driving this.

00:11:36.360 If they don't want to get along and protect our daughters, who cares? 0.57

00:11:39.980 Screw them. 0.83

00:11:40.540 We'll just throw them out of office. 1.00

00:11:41.840 Throw the bums out, right? 1.00

00:11:43.320 But they have a choice. 1.00

00:11:44.740 Protect our daughter or get thrown on your butt. 1.00

00:11:49.580 Hang on. 1.00

00:11:50.100 I think I got the Harry in a piece.

00:11:51.820 I do want to play.

00:11:52.380 I want to get Carrie in here. 1.00

00:11:53.160 I want to say Terry Schilling is the very first person that sat down and told me that it was going to be like this.

00:11:57.620 And I realize this thing is so weird.

00:12:00.040 How can people support it?

00:12:01.260 But then you see the overwhelming support.

00:12:03.100 And this was the central, what I call marginal issue of 24 that took some of these marginal voters and pushed it to the side.

00:12:09.780 Let's play Harry in at CNN.

00:12:11.760 And we'll bring in Carrie Sheffield.

00:12:13.860 Now, Harry, it is important to point out that Newsom also said that he had a difficult time seeing how transgender folks have been treated by some.

00:12:23.880 He believes that they should not be disparaged for choices that they make and ways that they are described in the public.

00:12:30.720 I do wonder, where do Americans stand on this issue of transgender folks in sports?

00:12:36.660 How has that changed over time?

00:12:37.940 Yeah, look, I think it's very important to separate transgender folks in sports versus in society at large. 1.00

00:12:44.480 But let's focus in on sports, right?

00:12:46.020 That was the main focus of their conversation.

00:12:48.220 And I think it's important to note that this is an issue in which there is near uniformity among the American public.

00:12:53.380 So transgender female athletes in women's sports, get this, just 18 percent say allow them. 0.98

00:12:58.680 Compare that to the vast majority, 79 percent of Americans who oppose.

00:13:03.160 You rarely see four-fifths of Americans agree on anything.

00:13:07.000 But they do agree on this in their opposition to transgender female athletes in women's sports.

00:13:12.020 And it's not just that you see this near uniformity in terms of the opposition.

00:13:17.000 The opposition is becoming larger over time.

00:13:19.560 And we can see this very well by looking at this time trend.

00:13:23.180 And you can see the numbers in 2025 and compare them to 2021.

00:13:26.560 Again, transgender female athletes, those who oppose them in women's sports, look at this.

00:13:30.880 In 2021, it was a majority, but it was a little bit more than three-fifths.

00:13:34.360 It was 62 percent.

00:13:35.680 Look at where we are now again in 2025.

00:13:38.200 It's 79 percent.

00:13:40.140 So the majority opposing transgender female athletes in women's sports has only become larger over time.

00:13:46.560 Again, you rarely see four-fifths of Americans agree on anything, but they do agree on this issue, Boris.

00:13:52.100 Newsom, obviously a Democrat.

00:13:54.480 How do folks feel about this broken down by party affiliation?

00:13:59.580 Yeah, obviously Gavin Newsom is the Democratic governor of California.

00:14:03.840 And again, when you break it down by party, I think this is where the numbers get really interesting,

00:14:07.340 because you rarely get a majority of Democrats, independents, and Republicans to agree on an issue,

00:14:12.260 but you do on this particular issue.

00:14:13.840 Again, transgender female athletes oppose them in women's sports. 0.99

00:14:17.400 Look at this.

00:14:18.100 You get two-thirds of Democrats, 67 percent, who agree with Gavin Newsom's position.

00:14:23.020 Progressive Democrats are actually the ones who are out of the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

00:14:27.060 Again, among independents, you get a very similar number, 64 percent.

00:14:30.260 And then look among Republicans, Boris.

00:14:32.340 Ninety-four percent of Republicans.

00:14:34.320 So yeah, Republicans are more lockstep on this than Democrats are,

00:14:37.820 but Democrats very clearly on the side of wanting to oppose transgender female athletes in women's sports.

00:14:43.320 They are on the side of Gavin Newsom.

00:14:45.680 I wonder, obviously, it's something that unifies Republicans, this issue.

00:14:49.760 How important is it compared to other issues?

00:14:53.900 Yeah, I think this will kind of give you a good understanding of how important this is to Republicans.

00:14:59.340 Right?

00:14:59.520 We were talking about Democrats, but amongst Republicans, this is really what riles them up.

00:15:03.940 Again, GOP who strongly want to ban transgender female athletes from women's sports.

00:15:08.880 Look at that, 84 percent who strongly want to, not somewhat feel it, they strongly want to.

00:15:14.120 And to put that into some perspective, right, how about the percentage of Republicans who strongly want to deport all immigrants in America legally?

00:15:21.040 It's just 58 percent.

00:15:22.220 Of course, this has been an issue that Donald Trump has run on for years.

00:15:25.440 Yet the issue that more Republicans rally around, the one that gets more of them riled up,

00:15:30.120 is this issue of banning transgender female athletes from women's sports.

00:15:33.180 Again, 84 percent who strongly want to ban it.

00:15:37.000 You rarely see numbers like this.

00:15:38.500 This is an issue in which Democrats, Republicans agree.

00:15:41.500 Gavin Newsom on the side of most Democrats, progressives out of the mainstream,

00:15:45.040 on which Republicans feel really, really strongly, Boris.

00:15:48.420 Yeah, perhaps not surprisingly that one of Trump's most effective ads in the last campaign cycle.

00:15:55.340 That ad was unbelievable.

00:15:57.040 So, Kerry Sheffield, now that Harry Enten broke down the numbers across the board,

00:16:00.800 how did the Senate not pass this?

00:16:03.140 How did it not break cloture?

00:16:05.000 How did the filibuster not fall aside?

00:16:07.480 How was this not passed in the United States Senate?

00:16:10.000 That part I don't get, ma'am.

00:16:13.020 I think it has to do with their desire to attempt to obstruct anything that this president wants.

00:16:19.320 I think that's really what it is.

00:16:20.520 They are so entrenched that they would rather poison themselves than to allow something good to happen

00:16:27.860 because they think it will hurt our president.

00:16:30.200 That's fundamentally what I believe is happening here. 0.97

00:16:33.840 And the safety of women be damned, their own political constituencies be damned. 0.99

00:16:40.980 They just want to hurt our president. 0.99

00:16:43.080 I think that's fundamentally what this is.

00:16:45.200 I also want to pick up, though, and just address something that Newsom said in that clip,

00:16:49.700 which is that transgender people quite often suffer from, you know, suicidal ideation or mental illness.

00:16:55.780 The fact of the matter is, you know, the U.K. looked at this with children who are reporting dysphoria, gender dysphoria,

00:17:04.100 and they have, I believe it's at least five comorbidities on average.

00:17:09.160 You're talking about they have anxiety, they have depression, they have eating disorders,

00:17:12.960 they might have dissociative disorder, they have all sorts of other issues,

00:17:18.060 and they think that taking this lifestyle choice will mask everything and somehow magically make it all better. 0.95

00:17:25.480 And that's what I think is truly abhorrent about the left in using children as pigs for this experiment,

00:17:33.060 when in actuality they're not treating the underlying depression, anxiety, other comorbidities with their mental health.

00:17:40.340 And so I think the sports, as far as I'm concerned, is just the tip of the iceberg as it relates to treating people with gender dysphoria

00:17:46.180 and also stopping the social contagion that was so apt to be identified by Abigail Schreier.

00:17:55.660 Carrie, where do people find out more about your fight, more about your group, and your social media handle, ma'am?

00:18:00.680 Thanks, Steve. Absolutely. I'm at IndependentWomen'sVoice, IWV.org, at Carrie Sheffield, all over social media, and IWV as well.

00:18:12.040 Carrie, thank you so much. I know you're in the trenches down at Palm Beach.

00:18:16.560 Suffer on, ma'am. Thank you.

00:18:19.140 Terry Schilling, the numbers are overwhelming.

00:18:23.560 Tell me the next action steps, because this is still a massive issue for us, and it's one we're winning on.

00:18:28.940 Yes, sir.

00:18:30.800 Look at those numbers with the Democrats. 67% are on our side on this.

00:18:36.740 It's not insane to think that the Democrats will have a primary challengers from the right on this.

00:18:43.660 These incumbents that are voting against it, they could have primary challengers that run on and make this a central part.

00:18:49.200 So, next week, I want to come back on, Steve. We're dropping some stuff. We've got to light John Ossoff's phones up. He's got to feel the heat.

00:19:00.060 Look, we're launching an always-on campaign, Steve. We've got to soften these guys up. We've got to attack them throughout the whole year.

00:19:06.660 They've got to feel the pressure. I know this from an experience when my dad was in Congress.

00:19:10.720 I want to come back on. I've got some stuff to share with you guys. It's going to be very exciting.

00:19:13.620 Perfect. By the way, I think Newsom's taking your political strategy.

00:19:20.840 They're not going to get to the right of Newsom on this issue.

00:19:23.620 That's why Charlie Kirk was the first guest on this podcast. He wanted to get it out there.

00:19:28.940 You're not going to get to the right of Newsom on this, at least the new, reconstructed Gavin Newsom.

00:19:34.300 You watch. I think he believes his first-mover advantage.

00:19:38.060 Terry Schilling, where do people go? What's your handle on social media? Where do they go to find out more about American Principles Project?

00:19:45.780 It's just AmericanPrinciplesProject.org, and you can follow me on all social media sites at Schilling1776, S-C-H-I-L-L-I-N-G-1776.

00:19:58.140 Thank you, brother. Appreciate you, sir. Terry coming on next week.

00:20:05.600 By the way, we're also going to have more about Wisconsin, if not tomorrow, than on Monday, but this Supreme Court race there, all important.

00:20:14.900 I want to bring in one of my favorite journalists at one of my favorite papers, the Epoch Times, Josh Phillips, the guy that does amazing work on a paper, does amazing work.

00:20:25.280 Okay, so I think it's 10 or 12 Chinese nationals have been, I think, indicted.

00:20:33.580 They're actually in mainland China, so they haven't been arrested.

00:20:36.980 And there are hackers, and one of the institutions they're hacking and doing constant cyber attacks is our beloved Epoch Times.

00:20:46.780 Josh Phillips, unpack that for us. What in the hell is going on?

00:20:49.400 Well, geez, I mean, we were kind of surprised to find out, too.

00:20:53.760 I mean, at Epoch Times, we get a lot of cyber attacks. We are aware of it.

00:20:58.840 What is interesting with this is, yeah, a dozen Chinese nationals have now been indicted by the FBI.

00:21:06.380 About 10 of these, you know, were, well, eight of them are with a private company called iSoon.

00:21:12.780 And apparently this was like a mercenary company that the CCP was hiring.

00:21:17.760 They're like, they're hackers for hire, and they would charge the Ministry of Public Security, which is like one of their big spy branches.

00:21:25.160 They would charge them for every email they breached or every cell phone they breached and so on.

00:21:31.060 The Ministry of Public Security, two of them were indicted on this.

00:21:34.860 And the Ministry of Public Security, those are the guys who run the secret Chinese police stations.

00:21:39.820 That's the one that does the secret Chinese police stations.

00:21:43.360 And so, you know, this whole case gets unsealed.

00:21:45.980 We find out they were targeting us.

00:21:48.700 And according to the indictment, it says that these Chinese hackers,

00:21:52.300 they breached the cell phones, I believe, or the computers of our former CEO, of our vice president.

00:21:58.700 They were looking for, apparently, like, you know, contacts we had with dissidents in China.

00:22:05.380 Because at Epoch Times, of course, we get a lot of whistleblowers stepping forward.

00:22:08.440 We get a lot of inside information.

00:22:11.000 The CCP was apparently trying to find who these people were to, you know, who knows what to them.

00:22:17.260 They were also hacking our website.

00:22:19.700 Apparently, 2016, they launched these denial of service attacks,

00:22:24.680 basically overloading our servers, shutting it down.

00:22:27.920 I remember being there when that happened.

00:22:31.160 You know, our services were going down.

00:22:33.180 We were like, wow, we're under a massive cyber attack.

00:22:35.700 What's happening?

00:22:36.840 Finally, you know, all these years later, we find out what happened.

00:22:39.760 Turns out we were under attack by the CCP, which we expected at the time as well.

00:22:44.180 But apparently what they did, they were breaching our system.

00:22:48.460 And the Chinese Communist Party wanted the IP addresses of people who are accessing our website from China

00:22:55.040 because they wanted to go and arrest them.

00:22:57.380 And, yeah, read Epoch Times, you'll go to jail, you know, in China, apparently.

00:23:01.740 And that's what they were doing.

00:23:03.280 And so, I mean, this whole thing is pretty shocking to us.

00:23:07.740 Doesn't it show, by the way, Ministry of State Security is a combination of FBI and CIA.

00:23:13.200 It is literally the hammer.

00:23:15.120 They're the ones that roll guys up in the middle of the night.

00:23:17.300 You never see them again, right?

00:23:18.460 I mean, these people are as tough as you can possibly get, sir, correct?

00:23:24.560 Yeah.

00:23:25.120 So, this is different.

00:23:27.200 There's the Ministry of State Security and there's the Ministry of Public Security.

00:23:30.980 Ministry of State Security, I mean, they're kind of similar, MSS.

00:23:35.560 These guys are Ministry of Public Security.

00:23:38.080 And they kind of do the same thing.

00:23:39.800 I mean, they're almost the same thing.

00:23:42.860 And they do a lot of things that overlap as well.

00:23:45.600 Like, Ministry of State Security, those were the guys who were doing, when they had Operation Fox Hunt,

00:23:50.260 and they had Chinese Communist Party agents who were hunting down people in the United States

00:23:55.860 and, you know, bringing them back to China, threatening their families, forcing them to commit suicide. 0.82

00:24:01.800 That was Ministry of State Security.

00:24:04.120 Ministry of Public Security, very, very similar.

00:24:07.320 Again, another Chinese Communist Party agency.

00:24:09.340 Those are the ones involved with this.

00:24:11.200 Those are the ones running the secret Chinese police stations.

00:24:14.780 When you heard about their setting up these police networks in the United States,

00:24:18.260 like New York, they had it, I mean, crazy to even think about.

00:24:21.120 They had it in New York, a Chinese police station.

00:24:24.860 That's who these guys are.

00:24:26.300 And they're the ones also targeting Americans, doing things against us right here,

00:24:30.080 you know, right here in our own backyards.

00:24:34.080 Could you get any better validation of the great reporting?

00:24:38.600 Because Epoch Times, I mean, the paper every day, you got five or six main stories you can get into,

00:24:42.700 plus you got the features, you got all the investigative reporting you do.

00:24:45.500 Could you guys ever wish to have a better validation of how serious your reporting is on exposing the dictatorial nature of the Chinese Communist Party

00:24:56.360 than to have the Chinese Communist Party literally try to get into on your servers and find out who's reading it in China so they can go arrest them, sir?

00:25:04.640 It's, you know, I call it the Chinese Pulitzer.

00:25:10.200 You know you're doing something right if you get blacklisted by the Chinese Communist Party.

00:25:15.560 But at the same time, too, we actually found out there's a lot going on.

00:25:19.500 We had whistleblowers come out, and this has been revealed now by the diplomat, by other reporting.

00:25:24.620 It turns out that Xi Jinping himself, the head of the Chinese Communist Party,

00:25:30.180 gave orders a couple years back to mobilize all of their spies, all of their overseas resources,

00:25:36.860 to attack the Epoch Times, Shenyang Performing Arts, and our sister media, NTD.

00:25:42.440 Because according to these whistleblowers, again, verified now,

00:25:46.540 they believe that we can inform, you know, the current government about the threats from China,

00:25:51.780 and they regard us as a national security threat to, like, the survival of the Communist Party.

00:25:57.020 And so they're coming after us, it seems, with everything they have right now.

00:26:02.260 It couldn't be a higher compliment.

00:26:03.940 Can you hang on for a second, Joshua?

00:26:05.260 I just want to hold you through the break.

00:26:07.960 Epoch Times, if you don't get it, you should.

00:26:10.480 It is, I think, the best broadsheet in the country.

00:26:13.920 And I say that as someone that consumes news nonstop.

00:26:19.280 The quality of the team they put together, the integrity of which they report,

00:26:24.540 and they're coming after them nonstop in every different angle, right?

00:26:28.720 You had Southern District, you have other people coming after them under the Biden regime.

00:26:32.740 They're a central threat to the CCP.

00:26:37.020 And the CCP is, you know, no holds barred in trying to come after them.

00:26:41.020 Remember, the CCP will do anything.

00:32:39.760 You will not regret it.

00:32:40.820 In fact, you'll love it.

00:32:42.420 Josh Phillips, a lot going on.

00:32:44.860 President Trump negotiating kind of a Russian rapprochement to make sure they break them 0.85

00:32:51.260 off from the grip the Chinese Communist Party has on the Russians.

00:32:54.920 With that comes Persia. 0.98

00:32:56.780 It's peace in Ukraine.

00:32:58.100 A whole bunch of good things.

00:33:00.120 But the Wall Street Journal is reporting that she understands that they're kind of being

00:33:05.900 surrounded.

00:33:06.600 They're kind of being cut off.

00:33:08.060 And they're studying the Soviets in the 70s to find out how the same fate does not hit them.

00:33:13.480 Where President Reagan comes in and says, hey, we've got him contained.

00:33:16.780 Now let's destroy the evil empire.

00:33:18.440 Your thoughts, sir? 0.84

00:33:20.440 Yeah.

00:33:20.700 Well, you know, the CCP would know it because it's what it's what happened again when they

00:33:25.380 broke the Sino-Soviet alliance.

00:33:27.780 And that was, again, you know, the thinking with going to China, of course, Richard Nixon

00:33:32.040 and making deals with China in order to break them from the Soviets.

00:33:35.820 The CCP was on the other side of it before.

00:33:38.440 Now it's happening to them.

00:33:40.260 But I think very much in Russia, this is what I think is happening.

00:33:43.360 I think Trump is looking at Russia, Ukraine.

00:33:46.080 He's not saying we're going to go all in for Ukraine, which is why I think Zelensky is 1.00

00:33:50.160 not wanting the deal right now.

00:33:52.100 But I think strategically, Trump understands that a Russia pulled away from China would

00:33:58.000 be good for the United States.

00:34:00.100 It would be good for trade.

00:34:01.420 It would be great for the economy.

00:34:03.080 Frankly, you know, maybe even good for just values.

00:34:06.640 And Xi Jinping, I think, very much understands this.

00:34:09.980 Case in point, when Vladimir Putin met with Kim Jong-un in order to get support, you know,

00:34:17.240 from the North Koreans for the war, Xi Jinping actually got very unhappy with it.

00:34:23.020 Xi Jinping actually punished North Korea and threatened Russia.

00:34:28.020 And Russia, as they've been kind of, you know, sanctioned, pushed away from the free world,

00:34:33.880 they don't have a lot of places to go right now.

00:34:36.440 And the Chinese Communist Party, even though they had this no-limits agreement and so on,

00:34:40.860 the CCP has been taking advantage of Russia.

00:34:43.280 The amount they charge them for a lot of their goods, they rip them off.

00:34:48.120 Russia is not in a good place, being, you know, forced to only really do business with

00:34:52.760 China.

00:34:53.340 If Russia tries doing business, even with other countries in that area, again, like even North 0.98

00:34:57.600 Korea, the CCP gets angry at them.

00:35:00.160 And the other important facet to remember is this.

00:35:03.840 Vladimir Putin, people can think what they want about him.

00:35:06.060 He's actually very smart.

00:35:07.560 He's very educated.

00:35:08.820 Even among, like, you know, Russian generals and oligarchs, he's considered kind of, you

00:35:14.240 know, cream of the crop on education.

00:35:15.840 He's very smart.

00:35:17.360 Xi Jinping is not.

00:35:18.840 Xi Jinping has like a middle school education.

00:35:21.180 He was like a dropout.

00:35:22.520 So you're dealing with a very smart individual needing to basically bow down because of, you

00:35:29.120 know, global politics and sanctions to a guy who has a middle school education.

00:35:33.380 He does not want to be in that position, I think.

00:35:35.640 And so I do think the CCP very much understands what's going on, and I very much believe that

00:35:42.000 Trump is looking at that situation and understanding that Russia, if given a way out, will probably

00:35:46.100 take it.

00:35:49.440 Josh, the Epoch Times is a very unique institution in our country.

00:35:55.160 Where do people go to find out more about it and how they find out more about you as

00:36:23.760 Thank you, brother.

00:36:24.760 I appreciate you.

00:36:26.280 Fantastic work.

00:36:27.240 By the way, the Trump administration, the anti-Brandecyon or Brandeisian, and they've

00:36:38.540 got some hammers in the Justice Department and over at the FTC antitrust.

00:36:43.520 There's a major filing here against Google by the deputy, Omid Asafi.

00:36:49.880 If I can't get more into it before the end of the show, we're going to have it tomorrow

00:36:52.960 morning.

00:36:53.520 But President Trump's administration all over the oligarchs, I'm telling you, fantastic.

00:37:01.140 Amazing, amazing, amazing work.

00:37:03.560 I'll try to get to this for the end of the show.

00:37:04.840 If not, it's going to be one of the big items we do tomorrow.

00:37:07.300 President Trump's administration over at the Justice Department, the antitrust division

00:37:12.300 going against Google up in their grill.

00:37:16.780 Mike Lindell, glad to have you here.

00:37:20.800 Sorry you couldn't get you in the last hour.

00:37:22.180 The president was taking off on Marine One.

00:37:24.300 Sell me a pillow here on a Friday afternoon.

00:37:27.480 Well, I got to tell you a little story, Steve.

00:37:29.460 I hope we have time for it.

00:37:30.840 So you guys, today I got into it with another podcaster and they said, how come we don't

00:37:37.900 have the specials that the war room gets?

00:37:40.500 And I said, well, let me tell you why.

00:37:43.020 You go back four years, this particular podcaster, I'm not going to name his name, would not let

00:37:48.200 me be on his show because I was talking about a stolen election.

00:37:53.540 And Steve, in the war room, you guys were here to give me a platform for my voice.

00:37:58.700 We got into it and I said, you know what?

00:38:01.020 If you want to get a special, use promo code war room.

00:38:04.160 That's what I told him.

00:38:05.520 And so I want to thank all of you.

00:38:07.660 And here's what he's talking about.

00:38:24.180 Actually, I kept 10 of them, held 10 of them back because once these are gone, they're

00:38:29.500 gone forever.

00:38:30.720 Limit of 15.

00:38:32.240 But here's what you have with promo code war room.

00:39:43.520 I want to thank you, Steve.

00:39:44.800 Um, that guy's pretty upset too.

00:39:46.660 Yeah.

00:39:49.720 I'll call you after the show.

00:39:51.180 Mike Lindell.

00:39:51.860 Love you, brother.

00:39:52.400 See you tomorrow morning on war room.

00:39:54.820 Hardest working guy in showbiz, Mike Lindell.

00:39:57.800 Charlie Kumar joins us very close to president Trump, very close to president Modi.

00:40:01.720 Charlie, we're here to talk about tariffs.

00:40:04.280 You've got a theory of the case.

00:40:05.400 You've been a manufacturing guy in Illinois.

00:40:07.200 I want to talk to you.

00:40:07.760 But first, given your expertise and you were on the short list to be our ambassador to

00:40:12.280 India, um, this whole negotiation president Trump's having with the Russians about some

00:40:17.480 sort of rapprochement.

00:40:18.760 Obviously the Russians are trying to at least work right now. 1.00

00:40:21.880 What we hear of setting up a diplomatic meeting with the United States and the Persians about

00:40:25.980 the nuclear situation, but vis-a-vis China, if you have a strategic relationship with India

00:40:32.000 and you have some sort of strategic relationship, let's say with Russia, does that totally gut

00:40:38.700 the Chinese Communist Party ability to control the Eurasian landmass, sir?

00:40:42.680 Well, it goes a long ways.

00:40:47.880 I mean, that, uh, that will be quite helpful, but, uh, uh, CCP and China is just not going 0.83

00:40:54.660 to sit, uh, idle and look at it.

00:40:56.660 They're going to go to their agreement they've signed with Russia.

00:41:00.220 And, uh, so, um, uh, we have to look at both China and, uh, Russia, uh, as a threat to 0.59

00:41:10.180 us, uh, if we can, if President Trump is successful in taking Russia away from China, that'll be

00:41:17.200 great because our existential threat is China. 0.97

00:41:22.400 I mean, that's, uh, and, uh, in China, CCP, that is our existential threat. 0.55

00:41:27.860 Last time we were talking about how, you know, Illinois, uh, in, uh, Elk Grove, uh, County,

00:41:35.300 uh, we used to have 5,000 businesses employing close to 200,000 people in manufacturing and

00:41:45.260 in a period of six years, just six years, 1998 to 2004, that got all eaten up by China, very

00:41:56.160 strategically got eaten up by China.

00:41:58.840 Today, those 5,000 factories, these are small, medium-sized businesses.

00:42:06.240 They, uh, are no longer there.

00:42:08.340 There's zero, zero in there.

00:42:11.580 And, uh, uh, you know, so that's one thing which I want to talk about.

00:42:15.400 And I want to talk about tariffs, uh, that, uh, uh, yes, um, uh, you know, as, as you were

00:42:22.680 there with us.

00:42:23.740 Well, how do you, how do you, by the way, in, in, in the part of globalization, that's what

00:42:27.640 gutted that in those six years, how do you bring that back?

00:42:31.100 Is this just wishful thinking, or is it a possibility?

00:42:33.860 Because the Wall Street guys, Scott Besson goes up there, they're hammerists every day

00:42:38.080 about these tariffs.

00:42:39.080 They're saying all they're going to do is, is raise costs for the working class.

00:42:43.160 How do you actually make this work to bring those jobs back?

00:42:46.120 What do you have to do to bring those 5,000 factories back in the 200,000 manufacturing,

00:42:50.600 high paying manufacturing jobs, sir?

00:42:54.800 Steve, very good question.

00:42:56.180 And, uh, uh, uh, basically, and here's, I'm going to, uh, talk a little bit about Elon

00:43:03.200 Musk and Apple and so forth.

00:43:06.240 That's not where it's at.

00:43:08.040 Maybe you'll get a hundred thousand, 200,000 jobs back.

00:43:11.800 The jobs that were lost, they have to come back to small to medium sized businesses, $5 million,

00:43:20.740 $10 million, $20 million businesses employing from 50 to a hundred people.

00:43:26.180 OK, it's not just the Teslas of the world, it's not, uh, the giant factories, it's not,

00:43:31.160 uh, uh, Apple, it's going to be the small businesses which create 80% of new jobs in the United States.

00:43:39.300 And, and you yourself would heard, uh, the, these businesses want sustained tariffs against China.

00:43:49.640 If we have 50% sustained tariffs, then these people, I'll go around the country.

00:43:57.320 You know, I'm in the electronics business, uh, electronic manufacturing, print and circuit board

00:44:02.200 factories, contract manufacturing, uh, factories, a lot of electronics, uh, telecom factories.

00:44:09.060 So these people need to have an assurance that there is going to be sustained tariffs.

00:44:16.520 It's not like one day tariff, the next day, uh, President Trump has a nice dinner with Xi and, uh, the tariffs go away.

00:44:24.800 Uh, or like last time, Steven Mnuchin, uh, you know, uh, he was for no tariffs.

00:44:31.180 So if there are no sustained tariffs, that it will not happen.

00:44:36.140 But if there are sustained tariffs, then these small businesses, and this is like hundreds and

00:44:43.340 hundreds of thousands of these businesses will invest a million to $2 million in new plant and

00:44:51.220 equipment to be able to compete with China.

00:44:54.880 So the mantra here, the basic fact here is we need to have sustained tariffs, reciprocal

00:45:03.580 tariffs they're talking about.

00:45:05.440 It's very confusing.

00:45:06.820 You know, I'm in touch with, uh, our community, not just the Republican Hindu coalition businessmen,

00:45:12.340 but, uh, uh, business, small businesses in general, the reciprocal, uh, taxes confuses the

00:45:20.440 heck out of us as to what really is going to happen.

00:45:23.840 So, for example, uh, we don't ship anything, printer circuit boards or contract manufacturing

00:45:32.000 to United States.

00:45:33.600 We, I mean, to China, we don't.

00:45:36.080 So how, who is going to determine what the SIC code is, what the tariff is going to be?

00:45:43.120 So what needs to happen is president has to come up with a number.

00:45:48.340 He said that during his, uh, campaign that, you know, he said that the Odyssey function,

00:45:54.340 sustained tariffs, put in 50% sustained tariffs.

00:45:59.980 So businesses could be assured that this is what's going to happen.

00:46:04.420 And the last time I was talking about, there is $400 billion of manufactured goods, which

00:46:12.260 we import from China today.

00:46:15.700 60% of that, 240 million of that, that is 60% of that, uh, can come to United States if there

00:46:26.480 is a 60%, uh, 50% sustained tariff.

00:46:29.840 Oh, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on here.

00:46:34.160 $400 billion of finished manufacturing goods.

00:46:37.040 We import from China every year.

00:46:39.820 And you're saying that $260 billion of that could be manufactured here.

00:46:45.320 If we had a program of sustained tariffs again for the country, but specifically against the

00:46:51.380 CCP that if people and, and people, providers of capital and businessmen thought that there

00:46:57.000 was a, a pathway over many years to do this, that they would then invest the money to bring

00:47:01.820 that manufacturing back.

00:47:04.220 Absolutely.

00:47:05.500 Sustained tariffs.

00:47:06.340 And, you know, you heard it yourself, uh, from the time when you were there in, uh, in

00:47:10.200 Carol Stream, uh, from these businesses, you know, if there's sustained tariffs, they'll

00:47:15.360 go out and, and, uh, invest.

00:47:17.300 We will go out and invest in machinery and plant and so forth.

00:47:21.280 And, uh, you know, we at one time had 16 factories, uh, out of that, uh, 12 were lost to China

00:47:27.900 in those, uh, six year, uh, period.

00:47:30.460 And we did not go to, uh, uh, go to China.

00:47:33.900 We chose just not to go to China and we, uh, kept our intellectual property, which China

00:47:40.480 cannot steal.

00:47:41.420 Uh, it's not that big of a deal for them to steal.

00:47:44.540 I mean, they can, but, uh, they're not, they're not coming after us for that.

00:47:48.860 So, however, we could redo our, um, ourselves.

00:47:55.240 That's ABG can put in 12 to 14 factories that will employ close to 10,000 people.

00:48:01.680 If we knew that there is going to be sustained tariffs.

00:48:08.060 Uh, Shali, we got to go.

00:48:09.720 How can people find out more about this?

00:48:11.260 Where do they go for your social media website?

00:48:13.220 All of it.

00:48:14.560 Well, first of all, they could go to, you know, you happen in there Republican Hindu

00:48:18.000 coalition.

00:48:18.700 They could just go to Republican Hindu coalition, that website.

00:48:23.980 And to follow me, they could come to, uh, I am Shalup Kumar at the rate of, I am Shalup

00:48:32.600 Kumar.

00:48:33.280 That's my, uh, social media.

00:48:35.620 That's, um, uh, uh, Twitter of the past.

00:48:42.360 Uh, Shali, thank you very much.

00:48:44.280 Appreciate you.

00:48:44.960 Thank you.

00:48:47.880 That's, that's the key that picks the lock.

00:48:50.040 You know, we had John Gardner on the other day.

00:48:52.660 It's just not these massive investments.

00:48:54.900 What Shali's saying is just not the 500 BNC from Apple or the, or the, or the, um, Taiwan

00:49:01.120 semiconductor manufacturing.

00:49:03.760 The beating heart of this, if you actually had a terrorist program and this replicates

00:49:08.040 what Shali's saying is just replicate what the American plan was or the American system

00:49:13.040 that was thought up by Alexander Hamilton and had these, uh, great supporters, guys like

00:49:17.740 Abraham Lincoln, Henry Clay, all the way through McKinley, all the way through the early 20th

00:49:23.120 century when we actually had tariffs.

00:49:26.100 And yes, it is protectionism, but you're protecting a nascent small manufacturing business.

00:49:32.640 Look what Shali said right there, $400 billion imported, $400 billion imported from China, finished 0.83

00:49:41.080 manufactured goods, $260 billion of that potentially could be made here.

00:49:45.080 Think of the jobs that were created, the high value added manufacturing jobs.

00:49:51.260 Don't listen to people that said you can just build it off a service economy.

00:49:54.880 The globalists have preached that gospel now for 30 or 40 years and it's left the country

00:50:00.580 wrecked.

00:50:01.940 It's one of the reasons when you cut it, when you look at this and you look at all the numbers

00:50:05.540 we're going to talk about next week, as you look up to the run up to the CR and all the

00:50:09.740 financing, remember that middle path that told you so important that we got to get right.

00:50:14.680 People talk about the growth rate is a 1.8% is a two, two and a half percent.

00:50:18.500 One of the things holding us back is we're essentially not the manufacturing superpower we

00:50:25.100 used to be.

00:50:25.840 And that can happen.

00:50:26.600 It's not, you know, you said Paul Ryan and these guys used to run around with all this,

00:50:30.240 you know, kind of theories about free trade and, you know, globalization and all be part

00:50:34.440 of us of a global supply chain.

00:50:36.700 I said, there's no, it's not like the second law of thermodynamics.

00:50:42.520 There's, there's no property like in nature that makes this inevitable.

00:50:46.680 It's about human action and human agency.

00:50:49.960 We can bring those jobs back.

00:50:51.740 You're going to have this massive fight over tariffs and everything that's left to saying

00:50:55.080 they're all talking about, oh, it's a tax on people.

00:50:57.080 It's not a tax and it doesn't pass through.

00:50:59.560 The right stuff takes us out to end a work week, but we got our favorite show still ahead

00:51:07.520 of us Saturday morning, 10 a.m.

00:51:19.040 make sure you have access to the particularly modern monetary theory.

00:51:22.460 I'll get into that tomorrow because it leads into the CR as they start to craft a plan, a plan

00:51:27.200 that you sign off on, that you're happy with.

00:51:29.760 Remember, if you're not comfortable with this, I'm not so sure we push this over the top.
