Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 805： BREAKING： Pope Leo Skeptic LifeSiteNews’s CEO John-Henry Westen FIRED In Pro-Leo Boardroom Coup

00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:00:07.000 Pray for our enemies.

00:00:09.000 Because we're going medieval on these people.

00:00:12.000 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:00:17.000 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:00:19.000 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:00:20.000 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,

00:00:22.000 but you're not going to stop it.

00:00:23.000 It's going to happen.

00:00:24.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?

00:00:27.000 Mega Media.

00:00:29.000 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:00:34.000 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:00:38.000 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:00:44.000 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Vann.

00:00:52.000 It's Wednesday, 9 July in the year of our Lord 2020.

00:00:54.000 Hang on for a second.

00:00:56.000 I'm not supposed to do this on Wednesdays.

00:00:59.000 Somebody is taking the burden off my not-that-broad shoulders.

00:01:03.000 Ben Harnwell, where are you, dude?

00:01:06.000 Are you taking it early?

00:01:08.000 Are you having dinner in Rome?

00:01:10.000 Are you here working, sir?

00:01:12.000 Well, I was taking a siesta, and I thought I'd be able to upwards delegate the opening of the show to you today.

00:01:19.000 We have a fantastic hour, right, Steve?

00:01:23.000 Some breaking news that one of the great icons in the conservative traditional Catholic sphere,

00:01:31.000 John Henry Weston, excuse me, was fired yesterday by his board of LifeSite News.

00:01:38.000 We're going to be breaking that down shortly.

00:01:41.000 Also on the show, we've got some news about the delay, the pushing back to December of the Synod on Synodalities study groups to do with the most controversial topics.

00:01:56.000 That is to do with LGBT inclusion and the women's diaconate.

00:02:03.000 We'll be hitting that later on the show.

00:02:05.000 But first, and then, of course, stay tuned, folks, because at the end of the show, we've got Jane Zirkle, who's got a superb interview with Tim Haselow, the Island County GOP chairman.

00:02:15.000 But let's go to Liz.

00:02:17.000 Steve, before we unchain you and unleash you on this one, because I know you've got some things to say, let's go to Liz, who's got the essentials of what took place over the last 24 hours in Canada.

00:02:30.000 Yeah, this is a shock, a huge setback for the pro-life movement.

00:02:35.000 John Henry Weston, for 30 years, co-founded LifeSite News, was CEO and just ran this organization for life and brought the faithful to a real understanding of not only what was going on in the pro-life movement in America and around the world,

00:02:58.000 but he brought an insight and toughness to the issues in the Catholic Church.

00:03:05.000 And, you know, the board, in a vote of five to four, fired him.

00:03:10.000 This is an outrage that, I mean, I was at mass this morning and people are crying.

00:03:15.000 They're so upset about this.

00:03:17.000 They, he has been an anchor of the pro-life movement.

00:03:20.000 And I think LifeSite News is hoping this crisis will blow over and, but senior citizens are not going to open up their envelopes for LifeSite News. 1.00

00:03:29.000 It's not over.

00:03:30.000 It's not over.

00:03:31.000 The battle has begun.

00:03:32.000 And, you know, I found the words really from Chris Jackson and his sub stack very powerful.

00:03:39.000 Here's what Chris Jackson said.

00:03:42.000 Let this sink in.

00:03:43.000 A man who co-founded LifeSite News, one of the most prominent outlets defending Catholic tradition and life, can now be removed by a board.

00:03:52.000 Not for scandal, not for doctrinal error, but for questioning the very direction of a papacy that is aggressively advancing the same program as Francis under a more traditional exterior.

00:04:07.000 This is not just an internal personnel shakeup.

00:04:11.000 It's a signpost.

00:04:12.000 And this is the purge.

00:04:14.000 You know, I have to say that, you know, I worked with John Henry on a podcast for a year.

00:04:19.000 Day in and day out, I saw the quality of this man.

00:04:23.000 He is fearless.

00:04:25.000 And he's not just a leader with respect to the big issues.

00:04:28.000 He would have the LifeFunder, the GoFund page for people who were arrested outside of abortion clinics.

00:04:36.000 He would raise money for families that had suffered tremendous tragedy.

00:04:41.000 He was there for the little people.

00:04:43.000 And, you know, with his gentle voice, but steely spine, he's going to be lost.

00:04:49.000 But, you know, my dad used to say to all six kids of us, you know, when you fall off the horse, get back on the horse.

00:04:55.000 And that's what I urged him yesterday to get back on the horse.

00:05:00.000 We need his voice in this battle.

00:05:04.000 And I think this is, I think the dark force of the pro-Leo American, you know, neocons are behind this.

00:05:14.000 And I think the bishops are.

00:05:16.000 And so I feel very strongly that this is a wake up call, that the battle is on.

00:05:21.000 And we have to double down and be a lot stronger and really realize what we're up against.

00:05:29.000 The battle is on. The party is on.

00:05:33.000 Let me just read this word from the formal statement that's on the presently on the LifeSite News website.

00:05:38.000 They say that the board's decision was made after careful consideration and extensive prep and a commitment to best serve our donors, readers and employees.

00:05:54.000 That's a very curious thing. Steve Bannon, that's a very curious thing, right?

00:05:57.000 In a statement such as this, to stay so specifically that they've sacked the guy who's been running the show for the last 30 years, as Liz has been saying, taking this website to becoming one of the primary sources, especially in the Catholic liturgy fights from the conservative traditional point of view, that they've sacked him because they've said that, you know, they want to sort of best serve their donors.

00:06:23.860 Tell me something. Do you think this is a confirmation of the thesis that we have been saying on the war room from day one, that the nomination of Leo, of Cardinal Prevost, was fundamentally to bring the Catholic, the U.S. Catholic donors back online and under the current tenor of the debate, where the vein of grift is in Catholic media?

00:06:50.640 It's really no dissent is tolerated anymore. Tell me what your reading of this situation is, Steve Bannon.

00:06:57.420 It's the reason I jumped on the Wednesday show. I told you early in the day I've got to be on and to be honored to be on with Liz Yor, who is our fiercest warrior, and of course, Cannon 212, which is arguably the most important site of all we've got.

00:07:14.120 It's the equivalent for us of what Cain does over at Citizens Free Press, and vitally important now more than ever.

00:07:22.220 Look, they gave it up. The one thing we always have to do is, look, when our enemies make mistakes, you have to capitalize on this mistake.

00:07:29.820 This is a massive mistake. They overplayed their hand, and they exposed themselves.

00:07:32.760 I've never seen, I do this for a living now, for the last, since meeting Andrew, I've done this since, I guess, 2009, 2010.

00:07:41.480 I've never seen anything up in your face, up in your grill, enough of what they did.

00:07:46.220 Who was the only person in the world that said Prevost was going to be the Pope? Stephen K. Bannon.

00:07:52.080 Why did I say he was going to be the Pope? Because they've got a massive financial problem over there, because folks have had enough of it, and they're not, the people that used to give money aren't giving money anymore.

00:08:03.960 The little guy, they need these big fat cat donors, and nobody's easier to get along than the American fat cats. 0.88

00:08:12.220 They need to give them, they need to give them an American they can rub up against, and enough, you know, and enough honors, and dinners, and special prayer sessions, and all this. 0.99

00:08:23.980 Almost like the indulgences problem we had back when the church split with Luther and the crowd, the indulgences, you know, they're going to do the marriage thing, they're going to give you a special blessing, it's all crap. 0.91

00:08:36.240 But that's what the donors want. And they served up on the great warriors in this movement, not just the institution he built, but the fierceness.

00:08:45.680 From a federal prison, I was in a nasty federal prison, a dangerous federal prison.

00:08:52.560 And the people there that were the best of the best, it wasn't Jay Six or myself or these others, the best of the best were these men that were in federal prison

00:09:02.880 for praying the rosary outside abortion clinics.

00:09:09.200 These are the holiest people I've ever met, the most spiritual people I've ever met, the most centered people I've ever met.

00:09:16.480 Incredibly inspirational.

00:09:18.780 And John Henry Weston, in what he built up at LifeSide News, gave a platform for that.

00:09:23.160 That's one of the reasons they were even able to have the grit and determination, just one aspect, right,

00:09:31.180 to go to their spirituality.

00:09:33.300 So this has been amazing.

00:09:35.300 Plus, a new voice, somebody I had not followed, this is Chris Jackson, who people have to read this piece he did.

00:09:40.740 This is a purge.

00:09:42.880 They started the war by this action.

00:09:45.600 So let's get it on.

00:09:48.240 We have to understand something.

00:09:50.560 This is nothing but the Francis and the deep state of the church rolling with a happy face of Prevost.

00:09:57.560 I call it beforehand.

00:09:58.700 And now they're going to start a purge.

00:10:01.120 They're going to start a purge.

00:10:02.840 They're going to get a fight. 0.65

00:10:04.740 And we have to bring out every tool in our disposal.

00:10:08.760 You're fighting for the church.

00:10:10.760 You're fighting for the eternal church.

00:10:12.320 And so those of us, those of you that want to come into a fight, you're going to have the location here, 212, all the other media.

00:10:19.740 We're going to figure out something with John Henry West, and his voice is not going to go away.

00:10:23.120 His voice is going to be 100 times more powerful.

00:10:25.220 You donors, and by the way, we're going to expose the donors of LifeSide News.

00:10:30.460 Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

00:10:32.700 Yes.

00:10:33.120 We're going to go there because we have to go there.

00:10:36.360 We have a calling to go there.

00:10:37.660 We have a duty to go there.

00:10:39.960 So I just want to get on here today and say you've got three of the greatest fighters.

00:10:47.120 Your Canon 212, which I love that site.

00:10:51.000 I love the headlines.

00:10:52.040 I clicked to it.

00:10:52.780 They've got so much clickbait there for me.

00:10:55.600 And all the stories are very powerful.

00:10:57.440 And the way you lay it out, sir, is so powerful.

00:10:59.800 And, of course, the great Ben Harnwell.

00:11:01.200 So, guys, I'm in for the fight.

00:11:04.340 We're going to get organized here.

00:11:05.900 But the donors of LifeSide News understand something.

00:11:08.600 You're going to be held personally and individually accountable for this.

00:11:14.160 Steve, before you bounce, there is something that the war room, I think, is perfectly poised to do.

00:11:22.180 And that's to making people famous.

00:11:24.180 I think we need to find out who the nine board members are.

00:11:27.540 Liz, you also said it was a 5-4 split.

00:11:29.320 Let's find out who those board members are and make those five that voted out one of the great heroes in the pro-life, pro-traditional Catholic liturgy fight

00:11:41.680 and has been at the forefront, as you would say, the cutting edge, the spear, the point of the spear of that fight for the last 30 years.

00:11:49.020 Find out who those five people are and make them famous.

00:11:53.660 Steve Bannon, what say you?

00:11:56.100 A hundred percent.

00:11:56.720 Hopefully, it's clear enough, but I'll be clear.

00:11:59.340 We're going to do that.

00:12:00.040 We're going to make them famous or make them infamous.

00:12:02.000 How about that?

00:12:03.260 And others.

00:12:03.820 If the donors are going to roll in and for all these modern indulgences, and that's what it is,

00:12:09.240 the dinners and the special blessings on your marriage and, you know, the special blessings on you and your kids,

00:12:17.500 that's not what this fight is about.

00:12:18.840 This is about the eternal church, okay?

00:12:21.300 Not the awards and not, you know, sitting there with a big feathered hat and walking around all puffed up.

00:12:27.180 Not going to happen.

00:12:28.580 Not going to let money determine this battle.

00:12:32.780 And I guarantee you, we will back some brothers off.

00:12:35.580 We will back some folks off because they don't want to go there.

00:12:38.620 I see this.

00:12:39.100 How do you think we won so many fights against big tech?

00:12:41.340 How do you think we won the AI fight last week? 0.99

00:12:43.660 They're cowards. 0.95

00:12:45.040 They only want to do it in the dark of night. 0.98

00:12:46.840 But once you put the high beams on them, hey, they ain't so brave.

00:12:51.280 They're scrambling.

00:12:52.820 And that's what's going to happen.

00:12:54.860 That's what's going to happen.

00:12:56.000 And LifeSite, the board, you've got to come forward and say, you know, and the way they wrote the thing,

00:13:03.020 I found offensive.

00:13:03.900 He's going to spend more time with his family.

00:13:06.460 Oh, okay.

00:13:07.340 I think not.

00:13:08.520 I think he's going to have even a bigger platform going forward.

00:13:11.960 And it's outrageous how this was handled, outrageous how it was presented,

00:13:16.920 and the dark specter of what they intend to do to take money, to put over Prevost in this crowd,

00:13:23.600 and to continue down.

00:13:25.900 The schism's coming.

00:13:27.600 It's coming.

00:13:29.520 There's worse things.

00:13:31.100 Trust me, there's worse things. 0.98

00:13:32.620 Letting this go to that nest of vipers in the Vatican, that's what it is, a nest of vipers.

00:13:38.600 Do you have a moral duty?

00:13:40.200 Do you have a duty?

00:13:40.940 Do you have a responsibility?

00:13:42.860 When you're judged, when you're judged, is one of the things you're going to be judged on,

00:13:48.620 that you look the other way at what happened to the church, that it was just too hard,

00:13:52.940 or, you know, it was too awful, it's too terrible, that you knew and you did nothing?

00:13:59.540 Hey, the four of us are far from perfect, but the one thing we're going to checkmark in the book of life

00:14:06.140 is that we did something, okay?

00:14:08.400 I may not have a lot of other checkmarks, because I've got some pretty grievous faults,

00:14:13.360 but guess what?

00:14:14.560 I'm going to have a checkmark in the book of life that on this one we threw down.

00:14:19.120 Ben Harnwell.

00:14:19.700 Thanks, Steve.

00:14:21.840 Look, have you ever been asked for your social media on this show before?

00:14:28.240 I don't know, mate.

00:14:30.040 Getter.

00:14:30.540 Just go to Getter.

00:14:31.300 I'm exclusive on Getter.

00:14:32.660 The reason I'm exclusive on Getter, I love Getter, but I've also been banned everywhere else.

00:14:38.100 Do you know?

00:14:39.300 You're constantly pushing your stuff out on Getter, but do you know what your profile actually is?

00:14:47.740 Is it Stephen K. Bannon?

00:14:49.220 I don't know.

00:14:49.780 Am I?

00:14:50.120 What am I?

00:14:50.460 It's at, folks, it's at Steve Bannon on Getter.

00:14:55.380 You know why?

00:14:56.440 Because somebody beat me to getting at Steve.

00:14:58.460 Steve, think about it.

00:15:01.420 Steve Cortez.

00:15:02.520 I didn't even get to, at Steve Bannon.

00:15:04.400 Steve Cortez, at Steve.

00:15:06.320 Guys, thank you so much.

00:15:07.460 I don't want to take too much air time.

00:15:09.280 There's so many important things you've got to get to today, and three of the best in the world to do it.

00:15:13.820 So thank you guys for having me on.

00:15:16.080 Thanks, Steve.

00:15:16.700 God bless.

00:15:17.240 Catch up with you later.

00:15:19.380 Frank Walker, a couple of things emerged then out of that discussion, right?

00:15:23.840 Two things that I think are fruitful for inquiry.

00:15:26.860 Find out who the donors are who've been putting pressure on LifeSite News.

00:15:33.100 And I would say that the donors get a vote because it's their money.

00:15:36.580 Find out, above all, who the board members are because they're not all going to be donors.

00:15:41.280 Nine board members, five-four vote.

00:15:43.720 Find out, let's find out who the five were who voted out John Henry Weston, right?

00:15:50.440 That make them famous.

00:15:51.720 As Steve is saying, you know, sometimes the best disinfectant is sunlight.

00:15:57.600 Frank Walker, what are your general thoughts then on the developments over these last 24 hours?

00:16:03.820 Well, I mean, it's a terrible thing because LifeSite News, when the church was gutted back in 2013,

00:16:11.580 LifeSite News was a great source of orthodoxy in their reporting and information,

00:16:16.460 which you can't get from the church anymore.

00:16:17.720 So, you know, right now it looks like a real problem.

00:16:21.960 But, you know, with Catholic, with faithful Catholic groups and faithful Catholic media,

00:16:27.160 it's not just their faith that's important.

00:16:29.440 It's also their virtue.

00:16:31.120 And that's where they try to hit us in our virtue.

00:16:34.040 Weston, I think you spent a long time, because I did a little bit of poking around about this board

00:16:38.680 when I saw it happen because I thought this is what he's been battling these people for a long time.

00:16:43.280 You need these powerful people in order to have the kind of reach he has and not be shut down.

00:16:48.720 And so this wasn't a new thing with him.

00:16:50.660 But when Leo came in there, you could see that Weston was starting to turn,

00:16:54.860 starting to try to hang on to everybody, hold the whole thing together under tremendous pressure.

00:16:59.220 But then, as in the Jackson article here, it says that he was starting to tweet.

00:17:07.620 He was starting to send out tweets that said he was starting to turn.

00:17:10.840 He was starting to feel guilty.

00:17:12.780 He was starting to worry about being honest with his people that he had cultivated and loved for all these years.

00:17:18.600 And that's where he was virtuous.

00:17:20.080 And that's when they hit him, when they saw those tweets.

00:17:22.520 I didn't know that until I read this article.

00:17:23.940 He says it's about you people, you readers, not about Weston.

00:17:28.620 And it's true. 0.56

00:17:29.380 There's millions of faithful Catholics out there that need his voice.

00:17:33.340 And they're not going away.

00:17:34.600 They're still there.

00:17:35.580 And he's the guy that was the actual LifeSite News.

00:17:38.160 And he can fix that.

00:17:39.920 You know, there are people on the board that represented the Knights of Columbus, Catholic Charities.

00:17:43.740 I mean, just poking around, it looks this way.

00:17:46.100 Catholic Charities, Opus Dei, Lawyers for the Bishops out of Chicago.

00:17:51.200 These are the kinds of things that if you snoop around a little, you can see the money that's on the board.

00:17:57.080 He had to be battling them forever.

00:17:58.820 And this is the same kind of money that destroys all Catholic press.

00:18:02.640 So hopefully he'll come back and there'll be some backers, maybe with shows like this, that will gather behind him and help him come back and reach those people because the people really need him.

00:18:12.280 This, I think, this story of John Henry Weston's firing really does underline something that the war room has been saying for the last six weeks since Provost Pope Leo the Holy stepped out onto the lodge.

00:18:32.780 And that's this, under the veneer of traditionalism, the veneer, the red mozzetta, specifically the velvet mozzetta, the cape, the short shoulder length cape, and a bit of a smattering, a bit of very badly pronounced Latin.

00:18:50.500 Most of the Catholic media that was quite openly hostile to Bergoglio pivoted and said just they're so easy to be swayed.

00:19:02.440 They pivoted from being very hard line against Bergoglio for all of his many heresies, saying let's give Leo a chance.

00:19:11.720 Now, something on the war room, and I say, I said in the beginning, we've come under a lot of criticism in social media for the line, the consistent line that we've had.

00:19:22.680 Frank, you've had it yourself on Canon 212.

00:19:26.660 We've basically said, look, wait and see is one thing, but we want to see some substance before we start encouraging our followers to say to drop their guard, because there's been absolutely no real substantial reason to do so.

00:19:40.380 We've been developing as a movement, as a well-informed, faithful laity over the last 12 years, we've been developing as a movement into a position of strength in being able to criticise our bishops when they do wrong.

00:19:56.440 And we don't want to see that movement disbanded just because of sentimentalism.

00:20:01.180 And I think, you know, reading between the lines, reading this Chris Jackson piece, reading the statement itself on LifeSite News, it's absolutely clear that this line that we have on the war room, Frank, that you have on Canon 212, is very difficult to sustain now.

00:20:18.020 Because, as we had said before, the donors are one thing, but the grift in terms of the general fundraising was very difficult under Bergoglio.

00:20:26.800 You could perhaps, if you were a Catholic organisation, you could perhaps rattle the bucket a little bit by going on the attack, but they were sort of poor pickings. 0.89

00:20:36.780 The moment you have someone who fits more into the Ratzinger line, if you are a Catholic organisation on the right of the spectrum, you can really go for the vein of the fundraising shamelessly. 0.55

00:20:49.580 And I think that is the issue that the board of – that's why I say let's separate that out for one moment, the board from the donors.

00:20:57.480 The board wants to maximise its fundraising capacity.

00:21:01.540 And that's, I think, Frank Walker, the difficulty that LifeSite News faced, is that the editorial positions and social media profile of John Henry Weston, with his uncompromising analysis on the Pope, made the fundraising so much more difficult.

00:21:19.860 And fundamentally, that's why they got rid of him.

00:21:21.560 And that's the lesson I would suggest that the war room takes away.

00:21:25.840 In Catholic media, if it has the word Catholic, basically, in the title, be very, very wary, because they're probably not going to be telling you the truth.

00:21:34.820 Lizio, what's your reading on this?

00:21:36.200 Do you think it's fundamentally an issue of grift and of fundraising potential here?

00:21:44.140 Absolutely.

00:21:44.660 What happened, just like war room said, on July 1st, out comes Leo asking directly for money for Peter Spence and from the American donor class.

00:21:57.600 And look, this is, they had scripted this very carefully, that American Pope, quote unquote, an American Pope who had manners, unlike Bergoglio, coming out wearing the rosetta, chanting in Latin, he has a beautiful voice, that they had fixed their financial problem.

00:22:22.900 I mean, it's just so superficial that Catholics would only look at the exterior and not look at what was really happening. 0.99

00:22:30.300 But this purge at LifeSite News is about clearing the landscape for Leo to ruin the church with little or no media pushback.

00:22:40.700 And because he is an American and a fan of the Chicago White Sox and likes to play tennis, we're all supposed to fall down and not criticize it.

00:22:50.020 When just yesterday, he announced and performed in a mass the care of creation based on Laudate C.

00:22:59.040 I mean, they might as well have called this new mass the mass of Leo DiCaprio or mass of Jeffrey Sachs, you know, the one who has scripted all these encyclicals.

00:23:08.700 But, you know, they're not going to intimidate us.

00:23:13.120 They're not going to pull the wool over our eyes just because he is, you know, a lot better than Bergoglio with respect to the optics.

00:23:22.260 And so they're going to take out John Henry's voice for the time being.

00:23:26.860 But I promise you that his voice will be larger, that the voice of all these Catholics who have been fighting in the trenches against Bergoglio, against the Synodal Church, against the destruction of the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

00:23:45.240 They're going to come together because this has been, I think, a moment of reckoning for all of us.

00:23:51.760 This is a beloved man, John Henry, who was trusted, a moral man who was fearless in a quiet, kind way.

00:24:01.160 He led the way.

00:24:02.880 And so people have had it.

00:24:04.960 People are shocked.

00:24:06.540 And I think this is going to renew the battle on behalf of the church.

00:24:11.580 So, Liz, you're basically saying you're not going to be bullied on the we don't have time to cover this story that came out today.

00:24:23.560 We'll do it this next Wednesday.

00:24:25.240 But just to give an indication of what is going on in Leo Church right now, over in France, an archbishop has appointed a priest who was, as chancellor of the diocese, that's basically the number two beneath the bishop himself, has appointed a priest who was convicted of raping a 16-year-old boy.

00:24:52.300 And the bishop has been trying to calm down the media outrage on this, saying, oh, don't worry, the position is, and I quote, is mostly administrative.

00:25:06.460 So that's the reality.

00:25:08.280 And beneath the red mozzetta, right, and the beautifully sung but badly pronounced smattering of Latin, this is the reality of what's going on in Leo Church right now.

00:25:21.260 And the loss of LifeSite News, or basically the loss of John Henry Weston, means that the bringing to light of these realities, Frank Walker, it's going to fall on our shoulders even more, right?

00:25:34.220 It's going to fall on the war room.

00:25:35.320 It's going to fall on Canon 212.

00:25:37.500 Are you inclined?

00:25:40.460 Liz, you'll say she's not going to be bullied by this.

00:25:42.460 Are you going to be bullied by the firing of John Henry Weston?

00:25:47.400 Well, this kind of thing happened to me before, too, during the 2016 primaries when they wanted all the Catholic voices to be never Trump.

00:25:57.700 I remember.

00:25:58.300 I just wasn't never Trump.

00:25:59.820 I was pro-Trump because any Catholic would look at the pro-life option of it.

00:26:05.440 And I got moved out of the former site in two months.

00:26:09.680 I had another site.

00:26:11.000 A lot of people lined up to contribute to it and recommend it.

00:26:14.600 And it was all back together, and I hope that he can do something like that again because, in retrospect, it just looks like a weak effort to take out, which is something that you can't really cancel.

00:26:24.080 You're not going to be able to cancel the movement that is there behind LifeSite News.

00:26:27.860 Even Chris Jackson himself, he used to write for a big traditional site, and I haven't seen anything there in weeks.

00:26:33.940 But now with his sub stack, he's back.

00:26:35.900 So I think this same kind of thing can happen in a big way with LifeSite News or whatever they're going to call it next time, and maybe a different set of backers.

00:26:44.460 Folks, Dan Sambai, we're back in two minutes after this short break.

00:26:48.280 But Liz, you've said it.

00:26:49.460 We have a mass for creation.

00:26:50.800 You might as well have a mass for Leo DiCaprio because it would be more Catholic. 0.98

00:31:19.740 Well, as I mentioned at the beginning of the show, the news came out a couple of days ago that the study group reports from the Synod on Synodality has been pushed back from their reporting deadline, which had been set for the end of June.

00:31:35.360 It's now been pushed back to December.

00:31:37.760 Frank Walker, you're going to break this down for us, and then I'm going to come back to you and ask Liz and your good self for your analysis.

00:31:45.720 But basically, my opening question to you before you explain what's happened here, is Leo Church now in full-on meltdown?

00:31:54.900 Well, I don't know about that.

00:31:59.040 Leo has asked them to postpone it, but he still wants them to report on these study groups.

00:32:03.580 See, the Synod is moving into this what they call an implementation phase now, and they're going to start to hound all the dioceses and the parishes to pick up this whole Synod torch again.

00:32:14.920 Now that Francis has died, they're delaying it a little bit, and Leo has told them to delay it until December.

00:32:21.240 But it's a long, long process of these Synods.

00:32:25.520 They've released this big document now on implementation, and it's completely unreadable.

00:32:31.000 But I think it's because it's legalistic, and hidden in there are some orders, some things that are going to happen.

00:32:37.580 And I don't think that so much he's defensive, because it's important in the Synods to go very, very, very slow.

00:32:44.940 It's like a big cloud of smoke to keep all of the people in the press and all in the Catholic world so that they don't pay attention to what's going on. 0.57

00:32:53.820 So, you know, I think that before, when Leo Francis, when he was in the hospital, he told them to come up with a new three-year process.

00:33:02.620 But I don't think Francis told them to come up with that process of implementation.

00:33:06.200 I think that's probably somebody like Leo, because when Francis was sick in the hospital, I think Leo was pulling a lot of strings behind the scenes.

00:33:14.140 So this stretching out process, people are real upset about the synodity.

00:33:19.800 A priest just wrote me and said he can't find enough pejoratives about the things if you actually read the document that it says.

00:33:25.780 This is trouble, these Synods.

00:33:27.560 And that study groups that he delayed just for a few months, they're all about the worst parts of it.

00:33:33.400 That's where things are really happening.

00:33:35.120 I think it's more of the process.

00:33:36.860 I think Leo is firmly in charge of it.

00:33:39.640 Well, when it comes to the process in the Vatican, that's one word to strike fear into any faithful Catholic's heart.

00:33:47.460 But just to give one example to the Warren Posse, the study group on the question of the female diaconate, the ordination, minor ordination of women, the members of that study group haven't even been published.

00:34:05.240 Liz Yor, do you see this?

00:34:06.880 I mean, the idea of farming off these most controversial issues like female diaconate, like the LGBT inclusion to the study groups and to take them from the synod floor itself to push them out there to these.

00:34:22.040 Do you see in that some kind of Saul Alinsky type maneuvering of the strategy beloved of Bergoglio?

00:34:29.920 This whole thing is a Marxist, synodal, bureaucratic strategy to change the church.

00:34:39.940 Now, what have they been saying?

00:34:41.800 He came out on the loggia and said he was going to support, Leo did, the synodal church.

00:34:47.900 And they're calling it the new synodal church.

00:34:51.560 This is about changing the Catholic church. 0.92

00:34:55.060 You'll note in the last few years of Bergoglio's papacy, he stopped using the word Catholic and he started using the qualifier synodal church.

00:35:08.240 People have to wake up.

00:35:10.040 This is, and I think the postponement is only a PR media strategy so that Leo can massage these issues.

00:35:18.360 I have absolutely full terror and confidence that they are going full speed ahead.

00:35:24.320 And if you read the documents, and I would urge Catholics to read the final synodal document, it reads like Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson smoking a joint.

00:35:35.860 It is madness.

00:35:37.160 It is jargon.

00:35:38.460 It is absolutely new age mumbo jumbo.

00:35:43.640 The words they use, we're going to be a listening church.

00:35:46.580 We're going to be a dialoguing church.

00:35:48.840 We're going to be an inclusive church.

00:35:51.280 We're going to be a synodal church.

00:35:53.020 Do a word search in the Bible.

00:35:56.280 You will find none of those words.

00:35:59.100 This is a teaching church, an evangelizing church that speaks truth to the culture in the words of Jesus Christ.

00:36:08.840 This synodal church has been the gradual but clear absolute removal, eradication of Catholic from the discussion, from the agenda, and replacing it with this word that literally has no meaning.

00:36:28.660 And when I write articles and write synodal, my grammar thing pops up and says, it's not a word.

00:36:36.280 Well, of course it's not a word.

00:36:37.720 That's what the Marxists do, don't they?

00:36:39.580 They make up words and they impose new meaning for words.

00:36:44.000 This is, I think this is just, you know, buying time.

00:36:48.500 Leo is full square behind this synodal church.

00:36:51.820 And this has got to be a discussion and a battle that happens now.

00:36:56.260 Because the plans based on the synodal church, quote unquote synodal church, are a radical distraction and a change in teaching, dogma, and in the entire teaching of the Catholic church under the name of synodal.

00:37:15.580 And what they're doing, one more thing, what they're doing is they're saying, the Holy Spirit is moving us in this direction.

00:37:22.020 They are hijacking the Holy Spirit as the one who is moving the synodal church.

00:37:28.420 And they're doing this because if you object to what's going on in the synodal church, well, the Holy Spirit was moving the synods.

00:37:36.660 So, you know, how are you going to battle the Holy Spirit?

00:37:39.620 It is, and God will not be mocked.

00:37:41.980 And the third person of the Trinity will not be mocked.

00:37:45.020 So that's what's going on.

00:37:46.420 He's fully square behind it.

00:37:48.600 He's said a number of times he has.

00:37:51.200 And, you know, you just saw the care of the creation mass.

00:37:54.000 That's Francis.

00:37:56.400 You mentioned your spell check objecting to the word synodal.

00:38:01.360 It's long being said in Catholic circles, right?

00:38:03.820 If in Catholic debate you see a word in Latin with a Latin derivation, you're on safe ground. 0.97

00:38:11.100 If you see a word in Greek or with Greek derivation, reach for the door.

00:38:17.220 And this would very much be a confirmation of that rule of thumb.

00:38:21.620 Frank Walker, now is probably a good moment to mention, because we didn't have a chance last week, what our friend Diane Montagna has been writing about.

00:38:29.700 It had a lot of resonance in the media to do with her expose.

00:38:33.520 She's got her hands on the leaked documents here from a basically manipulated synodal process, a consultation process, I should say, where Pope Francis claimed in paring back permission for the traditional Latin mass, the Tridentine Rite, claimed that that was the overwhelming request of the bishops who had been involved with the consultation.

00:39:00.200 Of course, those papers had never been revealed.

00:39:03.440 And then Diane Montagna was provided with the executive summary of this, of reports, which told a very different story.

00:39:12.100 I don't want to accuse a pope or an anti-pope of telling porcupines, but that very much does seem to be the case here with the suppression of the old mass.

00:39:22.240 You might want to say a few words about that.

00:39:24.680 Frank, I'll come to you first.

00:39:26.220 You might want to say a few words about this in relation to what is going on here with this synodal process and the study groups and the fact that these controversial issues had been farmed out to the study groups and taken off, basically, the main floor of the synod itself.

00:39:47.340 It's always a shell game, is what it is.

00:39:51.040 And we remember that from all the series of synods that happened back when we used to take them seriously, you know, 10 years ago.

00:39:57.860 Diane Montagna noted that the bishops didn't want that.

00:40:02.840 Only a small minority of bishops even responded to that survey, and the ones that did didn't want to drop the Latin mass.

00:40:09.800 They wanted to keep it.

00:40:10.700 The rest we don't know anything about.

00:40:12.280 But Francis doesn't care about that.

00:40:13.720 He didn't care about that at the time.

00:40:15.220 He just wanted to use it as a smokescreen in order to get what he wants.

00:40:19.900 And that's what these study groups are.

00:40:21.260 They're moving what they call a big, wide, hundreds-of-people synodal process into groups of experts that may have nothing to do with the church whatsoever.

00:40:30.040 The one that you mentioned about ordaining women, that's secretly in the Doctrine of the Faith Office.

00:40:36.080 Cardinal Kissy Fernandez's group is managing that one.

00:40:39.800 So it's all a smokescreen, and that's why they go so slow.

00:40:44.680 Yeah.

00:40:45.580 So that Diane Montagna piece, I think it was just a sign of the way things really are.

00:40:53.920 And going forward, they're actually going to swing a hammer on all of us with these synods. 0.99

00:40:58.940 While we're not paying attention, all of a sudden these things are going to happen.

00:41:02.140 It isn't just, you know, ordaining women or the gay rights movement inside the church.

00:41:07.560 It's also the actual conferences that the bishops are using all together.

00:41:12.300 What kind of formation do the priests go into?

00:41:14.780 And if you can't figure it out because it's thousands of words of blather, all you have to do is ask these expert groups, and they'll let you know.

00:41:21.860 You know, I think that Greek is, if you see German in there, too, that language would be a telltale sign because this whole synod process seems very Nazi-ish to me. 0.86

00:41:31.960 I like to use, in my headlines, I like to put it in a Nazi accent because it makes much more sense. 0.91

00:41:37.240 You know, the head of the synod says, oh, we have tools and stimuli to use.

00:41:42.100 It does sound very ominous to me.

00:41:44.340 We're just waiting for the hammer to fall, really.

00:41:46.020 Superb.

00:41:48.480 Frank Walker, many thanks indeed.

00:41:50.520 Look, can I ask you to put the Chris Jackson article up and the various sources that we've spoken about today on Canon 212?

00:41:58.840 And I'll point now the War Room Posse to your website to fish those out and to read those in more detail.

00:42:04.920 So, Frank Walker, your social media and your Canon 212, which is basically the Catholic Matt Drudge website of choice for faithful Catholics.

00:42:15.040 Where do people go to?

00:42:16.740 D-A-N-O-N-2-1-2.

00:42:18.460 That's the website.

00:42:19.580 Bookmark it so that it's in your computer.

00:42:21.880 And on Canon 212, spelled out on Twitter.

00:42:24.940 Also, the daily video update is on Rumble and at Glory TV and also at the Stumbling Block.

00:42:29.780 And it's worth quickly mentioning now, we still haven't done the deep dive on this.

00:42:36.220 Folks, to go to Canon 212, do type it out, the domain name in full, because Frank, since he joined as a contributor to the War Room, has been fighting against Google's algorithms that are pointing people far from his site.

00:42:53.120 Liz Yor, where do people go to catch up with you on your social media?

00:42:56.620 I'm everywhere on social media under Elizabeth Yor.

00:43:00.840 And my website is yourchildren.com.

00:43:03.980 Thank you.

00:43:04.580 Many thanks, Liz.

00:43:06.240 And I am, of course, on Getter at Harnwell.

00:43:08.840 My thanks, and we'll be back on Wednesday, 6 o'clock next week.

00:43:12.740 God willing, thanks to my guests today, Steve Bannon, Frank Walker, Liz Yor, to our producer, Cameron Wallace, and to the crack production team in Denver.

00:43:23.440 We'll be praying for you.

00:43:24.760 You pray for us, and we'll see you again this time next week.

00:43:27.900 What started as a mask mandate dispute in Island County, Washington, has led to GOP chairman Tim Hazelow to face felony charges.

00:43:36.340 Tim joins us now, and he's going to bring us back to what happened during this past fall's election in Island County.

00:43:44.220 Tim, thank you for joining us.

00:43:46.540 Yeah, thanks, Jen, for having me.

00:43:47.760 This is, and I'm ready to say to the least, I got a bunch of friends that watch you guys constantly, so shout out to my folks out there and my wonderful buddies.

00:43:57.900 Yeah, so if you could just run through what happened when you were observing the election at the voting center in Island County.

00:44:03.780 Yeah, so I showed up.

00:44:07.480 There's been a mask dispute going on there since early 24th.

00:44:12.440 The lady tried to put a mask mandate in place. 1.00

00:44:14.880 We complained about it.

00:44:16.260 She took it down, made it optional.

00:44:18.240 She put it back up for the general election.

00:44:20.580 We complained again.

00:44:21.800 So I decided I would go see for myself as the chairman of the party, because everybody's coming to me, and I guess as the de facto GOP leader of the area, it's kind of my job to go in and figure these things out and help these folks.

00:44:36.220 So I show up.

00:44:37.520 They give me a shoot of paper that has all the rules on it, and nowhere on this shoot of paper does it talk about masks in any way, shape, or form.

00:44:44.860 And those are the official rules written by the auditor.

00:44:48.400 So I signed the rules.

00:44:50.700 They tell me that they give me a badge.

00:44:53.240 They say, okay, go back there and watch the ballot down.

00:44:57.240 So I went back there, sat down quietly in the 10th area in the ballot room where you're supposed to be, and I just sat there.

00:45:04.440 And I sat there for a good five to eight minutes, made in 10 on the outside, and there was a couple older people in there with their last style on their chin, counting ballots.

00:45:15.020 So there was a lady that would take a mask off to talk to the lady next to her. 1.00

00:45:18.440 I guess it's kind of wild.

00:45:19.860 You see the mask like bullflush.

00:45:22.900 Adam, so I felt bad from those people.

00:45:24.420 But I sat there with no mask, and I sat there quietly.

00:45:26.500 Didn't disturb me or anything.

00:45:28.320 The manager comes in and says, hey, Tim, and I know her.

00:45:32.240 Small town, you're right?

00:45:33.160 But she says, Tim, you have to have a mask on to be in here.

00:45:35.900 It's a rule.

00:45:36.380 And I said, well, what authority, what law gives you the ability to refer to me to wear a mask?

00:45:43.340 And she couldn't tell me.

00:45:44.200 All she could say was it's a rule.

00:45:45.980 So I said, well, I'd rather just sit here without my mask on and observe the ballot counting.

00:45:51.520 And so that's what I did.

00:45:52.620 About 10 minutes later, she came back in, told me how to wear a mask again.

00:45:55.700 I said, I don't want to.

00:45:57.540 I'm not going to.

00:45:58.660 And then the sheriff came in and asked me to leave.

00:46:00.600 And I think you've seen the video.

00:46:02.200 I sent it to you.

00:46:02.960 The body cam video.

00:46:03.840 And the body cam adds 40 pounds to the guy.

00:46:09.200 But so let me ask you, you were given a citation by the sheriff.

00:46:12.500 And what did that citation entail?

00:46:15.900 Well, the citation was disorderly conduct.

00:46:19.020 I had told the sheriff and the movie has really screwed this one up.

00:46:23.440 I didn't ask for a citation.

00:46:24.880 I said, if I'm not breaking a law that I can be cited for, this was my intention.

00:46:30.800 Maybe it didn't come out correctly.

00:46:32.180 But I said, if I'm not breaking a law that I can be cited for, I plan on just sitting there and observing my right.

00:46:39.040 And I think it's more of been a right.

00:46:40.400 It's a duty for us as Americans to observe this and participate in this action.

00:46:44.620 And so they said, well, I just citation.

00:46:46.660 I got up and walk out with them.

00:46:48.260 The whole interaction took a minute.

00:46:51.580 You probably saw the body cam.

00:46:53.540 And so that citation led to a misdemeanor charge.

00:46:57.000 But then the prosecutor, Greg Banks, gets involved.

00:47:00.480 And what happens there?

00:47:02.820 Yeah, that's when it's really crazy.

00:47:04.560 So first of all, that's the lowest level criminal charge you can get is disorderly conduct.

00:47:10.980 That's kind of a fault go to for all law enforcement across the country to be able to write a citation just to say that they had did something.

00:47:18.560 There was no disorderly conduct.

00:47:19.900 So when I went to court, it was an amazing failure to me to find out that Greg Banks himself was the actual prosecuting attorney.

00:47:26.600 So the highest level prosecutor in our county, the elected guy, is down here prosecuting the lowest level crime that you could possibly be charged with.

00:47:37.340 And the rest of his attorneys are off doing other things, right?

00:47:40.560 That was out in itself.

00:47:41.780 So I explored innocent.

00:47:44.120 And I put in the motion for dismissal.

00:47:45.980 So I got a letter.

00:47:47.040 I sent you a copy of that letter.

00:47:48.180 And I can provide that to anybody who wants to see it.

00:47:50.280 But he sent me a letter saying that he was going to add trespassing, which I was not cited for, by the way, to the charge.

00:47:58.160 And if I didn't plead guilty and accept his punishment, that he was going to raise this up to a felony level, something called unauthorized access to a polling place, which has never been charged against anybody before.

00:48:10.260 And, I mean, I signed in, right?

00:48:12.740 And then I talked to the sheriff, and he had to go back up front and sign out when he left.

00:48:18.600 So obviously I was authorized.

00:48:20.120 But it's an example of show me the man and I'll find a claim.

00:48:26.620 So you're facing these felony charges.

00:48:29.680 What are the penalties associated with these?

00:48:32.880 Well, the felonies could get me five years, five to six years.

00:48:37.280 I think the unauthorized access is five years.

00:48:39.680 The trespassing is a year.

00:48:41.640 And disorderly conduct was going to be 90 doses.

00:48:45.220 However, the disorderly conduct got dismissed.

00:48:47.520 The clerk found no disorderly conduct.

00:48:50.400 There was no substantiation for that.

00:48:52.280 So the one thing that I got cited for, the judge went ahead and dismissed.

00:48:56.660 The other two things that banks just pulled out of this we'll call hat, when I'm currently going to court for.

00:49:05.440 And I start court on Tuesday, jury selection is Tuesday morning.

00:49:07.880 So you're facing five to six years over this initial misdemeanor mass dispute.

00:49:14.380 Yeah, because I weren't catered to the prosecutor.

00:49:17.140 And the reality is, you're going to tell a screenshot, but this prosecutor, I don't know, I'm not in his head.

00:49:24.340 Maybe, maybe honestly thinks he's doing the right thing here.

00:49:27.720 But the reality is, his history is just literally anti-Trump supporter.

00:49:32.880 He's wished death on Trump supporters.

00:49:34.740 He's compared us to KKK.

00:49:36.120 And me as the default GOP representative, if I ran for Congress under a mega ticket, I got more congressional votes in our district than any Republican ever has.

00:49:50.400 It's a blue district.

00:49:51.880 And I've got 148,000 votes.

00:49:55.760 First time I'm in my lawful office.

00:49:57.180 So I work hard, and I try hard, and I try to do the right thing.

00:49:59.860 But I think he's trying to put a point here.

00:50:03.040 I don't know that to be sure, and I don't want to put words in his mouth, but I haven't talked to another prosecutor or another law enforcement agent that thinks that crime has been committed or would have pushed this.

00:50:14.820 So that's where we're at.

00:50:16.460 And now I'm spending, I'm into it for 20 grand.

00:50:19.200 And I don't know about you, but 20 grand is a huge chunk of change for a government contract.

00:50:25.080 You know, I've been working for the military.

00:50:27.260 I was 21 years Navy, now I'm a contractor.

00:50:29.460 I've held the highest clearances you can get in the federal government.

00:50:34.520 I still have a secret clearance now, and this could just totally blow up my 35, 38 years of service to our country, honorable service to our country.

00:50:43.940 Well, thank you so much for your service, firstly.

00:50:46.460 And where can people follow you to get the latest from this trial?

00:50:49.600 Yeah, I mean, you could Google search me just Tim Henselow, H-A-Z-E-L-O, is there on your screen.

00:50:56.680 My YouTube name is T-N-T-T, Truth Not Trash with Tim.

00:51:03.700 I'm not much of a YouTuber, but I've made some videos regarding this and put them up.

00:51:07.680 And, of course, on Facebook, if you just look up my name, Tim Henselow on there, I don't have them on their site.

00:51:13.040 I'm trying to do a fundraiser on Gear Sam Go, so if you went to Gear Sam Go and typed in my name, there would be information there for you.

00:51:20.900 The reality is just guys like us, if we don't stand in that gap, then nobody will, right?

00:51:27.420 And Stu Vannon knows this just as much as any of us do.

00:51:30.440 The process is the punishment in a lot of cases, and guys like us have to stand up for everybody else who might not be willing to or might not have the ability to.

00:51:39.960 Because if we don't challenge the authority, we get lost this country.

00:51:43.580 That country is found on challenging authority.

00:51:46.440 Big time.

00:51:47.380 Tim, thank you so much, and best of luck with the upcoming trial.

00:51:51.180 I appreciate it.

00:51:51.840 Thank you.

00:51:52.360 Thanks.
