Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 902： Victory In Texas Against DEI; The Fight To Protect Teens And Children Online

00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:00:18.160 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

00:00:23.460 Here's what I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:00:27.740 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:00:29.240 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:00:31.160 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.

00:00:33.780 It's going to happen.

00:00:35.060 And where do people like that go to share the big line?

00:00:38.440 Mega Media.

00:00:39.800 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:00:45.220 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:00:49.000 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:00:55.200 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.

00:00:59.240 It's Tuesday, 2 December, Year of Our Lord, 2025.

00:01:06.760 Thank you for sticking around for the early evening edition of the War Room.

00:01:11.440 Breaking news out of Moscow, Reuters.

00:01:14.420 Putin warns Europe, if you want war, then Russia will defeat you.

00:01:18.200 President Vladimir Putin warned European powers on Tuesday that if they started a war with Russia,

00:01:25.160 then Moscow was ready to fight and that the defeat of European powers would be so absolute 0.57

00:01:31.380 that there would be no one left to even negotiate a peace deal.

00:01:36.200 We're going to get back to this in a moment.

00:01:40.280 Our negotiators, Jared and Kushner and Wyckoff, are over in Moscow right now.

00:01:47.760 I want to turn to Texas, though.

00:01:49.420 Brian Harrison.

00:01:50.440 Brian, after all the hard work of the grassroots and folks like yourselves down there,

00:01:55.060 we're starting to see some wins.

00:01:56.940 We had a big win today.

00:01:58.220 What do you got for us?

00:01:59.320 This is a huge win and one of just a long string of huge conservative, massive conservative victories.

00:02:06.180 The grassroots patriots, very much including the posse, have forced to change.

00:02:10.300 I've got some breaking news down here.

00:02:11.720 Steve, I don't know how many times I've been on your show this year talking about how Texas,

00:02:16.240 despite the fact that we have this reputation for being a bold conservative Republican MAGA state,

00:02:20.980 our government is actually very blue, even though the Texas voters are very red.

00:02:25.440 Well, the Texas government has been one of, if not the biggest funders, as crazy as this sounds,

00:02:30.500 of DEI, perhaps in all of the country.

00:02:33.700 And in fact, just one program, the biggest DEI program in Texas is called our Hubs Program,

00:02:37.880 Historically Underutilized Businesses.

00:02:39.400 And what it is, is the comptroller of the state of Texas has been requiring every single state agency,

00:02:44.900 when they issue any kind of contract, to use minimum DEI criteria here.

00:02:49.660 And I'll give you just a couple examples.

00:02:50.740 For every construction contract in Texas, a minimum of 21% had to be awarded on the basis of race or gender.

00:02:56.960 For any special trade construction contracts, 33% must be awarded on the base of race and gender.

00:03:04.640 For every professional services contract, 24% on the basis of race and gender.

00:03:09.660 Facially unconstitutional.

00:03:11.460 I referred the comptroller to the Trump Department of Justice two months ago,

00:03:15.200 exposed this for the past several months, have talked about it here with you on War Room,

00:03:19.300 alerted the posse.

00:03:20.380 Well, guys, I think we put the fear of God into the comptroller, into the governor in Texas.

00:03:24.420 And as of today, that program has effectively been ended.

00:03:27.800 So I've got some very good historic news.

00:03:30.180 The biggest DEI program in the state of Texas, the posse, hardworking, patriotic Texans and Americans

00:03:37.200 all across the country forced a massive defeat against the liberal establishment Austin Uniparty.

00:03:44.680 And let me make no mistake about this.

00:03:46.140 There is zero chance this would ever have happened through the normal legislative process.

00:03:50.420 Every bill I filed to end these DEI programs in Texas died an unceremonial death, weren't even allowed to be debated.

00:03:58.180 But just by going on social media, going on War Room, going on media and going straight to the people over the heads of the Texas establishment,

00:04:06.860 we delivered the single biggest defeat against DEI, the biggest victory for people against discriminatory DEI in Texas history.

00:04:15.380 And just to make it clear, at risk of putting too fine a point on it, guys, our social media, I call them the Liberty Bots,

00:04:20.900 the people that follow me on X, guys, we have done more for conservatism just in the past few months.

00:04:26.480 And the governor, lieutenant governor, entire Texas House, entire Texas Senate combined, just the last few months,

00:04:31.880 we forced out the leftist president of Texas A&M who was pushing DEI and transgender indoctrination.

00:04:37.040 We forced the Texas DMV to stop issuing vehicle registrations to illegal aliens.

00:04:42.080 I announced that on your shows too, Steve.

00:04:43.740 And then here today, we've killed the single biggest DEI program in the Texas government.

00:04:48.600 And I just want to come on and say thank you to everybody who had a hand in that.

00:04:51.580 But Brian, here's the question.

00:04:52.740 Why is it that the voters don't want this and they're adamant about it, guys like you've been fighting,

00:04:59.300 but the political class in Texas that is voted into office and empowered, right, by these same voters,

00:05:08.880 what's the logic?

00:05:10.540 Why do they make it so difficult?

00:05:12.700 They're adamant about not ending all these programs unless absolutely humiliated, embarrassed, forced to,

00:05:19.500 a forcing function, something like this.

00:05:21.220 What is the mentality that makes them just say that we don't care what our voters want, sir?

00:05:26.560 Yeah, no, absolutely.

00:05:27.800 I say this all the time.

00:05:29.780 Transparency is like kryptonite in the liberal Austin swamp.

00:05:33.900 And I'll say this too.

00:05:35.640 You know, I would actually think, Steve, it's like the biggest form of voter fraud.

00:05:40.600 Okay, voters gave Republicans, the governor's mansion, lieutenant governor's office,

00:05:44.060 massive majorities in the Texas House, the Texas Senate.

00:05:46.540 Republicans have every single statewide office in the state of Texas.

00:05:49.960 But you know what happens?

00:05:51.160 These so-called Republicans, many of them are actually Democrats.

00:05:53.940 They just know they can't get elected if they were honest.

00:05:55.560 They campaign for office saying, vote for me.

00:05:58.140 I'll stand up to those radical Democrats who are going to indoctrinate the next generations.

00:06:01.980 Vote for me.

00:06:02.700 I'll fight the radical leftists who are going to bankrupt the future of our state and our country.

00:06:07.060 But the second they get elected and they go under that corrupt pink dome down in Austin,

00:06:11.820 they vote to put those very Democrats in power.

00:06:14.820 And then they collude with them to pass a Marxist-leftist progressive agenda.

00:06:19.040 And they do it all under the guise of the shroud of secrecy.

00:06:23.340 And that's why, even though it's the most hated Twitter feed in the state of Texas,

00:06:26.340 it has now become the most powerful Twitter feed, for those of you who follow me on X,

00:06:30.660 because we are delivering more and doing more for the voters of Texas

00:06:33.920 than the entire Austin establishment combined.

00:06:36.240 And make no mistake about this,

00:06:37.520 every single one of these conservative victories only happened

00:06:40.680 because they were shamed and forced at the point of public humiliation

00:06:45.120 into doing the right thing.

00:06:46.720 It shouldn't be this hard.

00:06:48.280 You know, when I called for the president of Texas A&M to be fired,

00:06:50.380 this former Barack Obama official who was this leftist DEI indoctrinator,

00:06:53.800 not one other Republican in the Texas government joined me in that fight.

00:06:57.800 But going on War Room, the posse, patriots across the state and the country,

00:07:01.220 we delivered.

00:07:02.040 And it shouldn't be this hard.

00:07:03.080 But you know what?

00:07:03.480 If this is what it takes to preserve Texas and therefore preserve America

00:07:07.780 and therefore the world, because as you know, Steve,

00:07:09.800 we're in a fight for nothing less than the future of Western civilization.

00:07:12.440 Texas is on a front line.

00:07:13.920 We are a battleground state.

00:07:15.120 We're the line in the sand for the future of liberty.

00:07:17.680 It shouldn't be this hard.

00:07:18.800 I shouldn't have to work with you and the posse and pressure and shame

00:07:21.600 the elected Republican establishment in Texas

00:07:23.760 into doing the right thing for voters

00:07:25.440 and doing the right thing for the future.

00:07:26.940 But you know what, Steve?

00:07:27.620 If that's what it takes,

00:07:28.960 if it's that amount of work and that amount of effort,

00:07:30.900 if we can do our part to preserve the blessings of liberty

00:07:35.160 and freedom and prosperity for my kids, your kids, grandkids,

00:07:37.860 and the next generation of Texans and Americans,

00:07:39.520 you know what, Steve?

00:07:40.080 It shouldn't be this hard, but it is.

00:07:41.940 But you know what?

00:07:42.740 It's worth it, and we're making a difference.

00:07:45.420 You know, talk about making a difference.

00:07:47.320 We just had a report from the Heritage Action Guys,

00:07:49.720 and of course we had Turning Point on this morning about a rally.

00:07:51.860 This is all about Indiana, about the 9-0 versus the 8-1.

00:07:55.060 The House just voted it out.

00:07:56.900 The first reading is going to have to go through a couple more,

00:07:59.180 but they said today they had seven hours of Democratic activists,

00:08:05.320 of people around the nation, coming in,

00:08:06.680 and they all referred back to Texas.

00:08:09.560 Texas was the railhead,

00:08:10.900 and I remember having the meeting with you and Glenn's story down there.

00:08:13.940 It seems like decades ago, but it was really back, I guess, in July,

00:08:17.840 when you helped lead us and forced Hannah Abbott to come back.

00:08:22.060 Has anybody, they keep using Texas as an example,

00:08:25.400 has anybody been penalized at all,

00:08:29.020 or held accountable for the Democrats leaving and going to Illinois?

00:08:32.800 Remember all the threats that were there,

00:08:34.400 and you know, the way you stop this to hold people accountable and make sure.

00:08:37.540 Has a parking spot been taken?

00:08:39.900 Has any seniority been taken?

00:08:41.620 Has anybody's offices been moved?

00:08:43.540 Has, please tell me,

00:08:44.580 something happened about that fiasco with the Democrats.

00:08:48.580 It's funny you say that.

00:08:49.600 I just pulled out my phone here,

00:08:50.600 because I just tweeted out this morning.

00:08:51.720 I did the math, Steve, okay?

00:08:53.180 It has been 121 days

00:08:56.760 since the radical Marxist leftists abandoned their post

00:08:59.660 and broke form to stop our redistricting efforts.

00:09:01.980 And here's the statistics, okay?

00:09:03.940 Because remember the governor said,

00:09:05.120 if any Democrat that doesn't show up at 3 o'clock on Monday,

00:09:08.260 you know, their seats are going to be vacated.

00:09:09.860 Our rhino speaker signed arrest warrants.

00:09:13.460 I guess they were ceremonial arrest warrants, okay?

00:09:15.800 Because here's the statistics, 121 days since they broke quorum.

00:09:19.740 The number of seats vacated, zero.

00:09:22.160 The number of arrests, zero.

00:09:24.200 The number of chairmanships,

00:09:25.800 yes, Democrats chair committees in the Texas House

00:09:28.260 and vice chairmanships.

00:09:29.280 The number of chairmanships and vice chairmanships

00:09:31.360 that have been taken away from the Democrats, zero.

00:09:33.920 The number of fines, even $1 of fines

00:09:36.000 that they will have to pay, zero dollars.

00:09:38.460 The number of them that have had their seniority stripped, zero.

00:09:41.040 The committees they've been removed from, zero.

00:09:43.200 Their offices defunded, zero.

00:09:45.000 You asked the big one, Steve.

00:09:46.360 If we wanted to be serious, take away their parking spots.

00:09:49.360 Nope, they've all got their parking spots.

00:09:52.140 But don't worry, the Republican House caucus did meet

00:09:55.660 and they did pass one, they did vote

00:09:58.220 to not punish the Democrats.

00:10:02.340 So zero consequences for the Democrats who broke quorum.

00:10:06.140 And as of this morning, if my math is right,

00:10:08.540 that was 121 days ago.

00:10:11.840 And let me tell you this, Steve, we can joke about this,

00:10:14.200 but there's actually, it's not a laughing matter,

00:10:16.440 and I know you know that.

00:10:17.920 I'm sick and tired of Democrats and leftists

00:10:21.580 and Marxists and progressives fighting harder

00:10:24.160 for the future of our state and nation

00:10:26.160 than so-called Republicans.

00:10:27.660 And it's embarrassing as hell

00:10:28.820 that nowhere is that more true

00:10:30.440 than in the great state of Texas.

00:10:32.580 This is why it's so important.

00:10:33.900 You're right, it's funny when you go through there

00:10:35.480 how shocking it is,

00:10:36.180 but we need to revisit that.

00:10:38.340 And here's the reason.

00:10:39.460 You've had California break their constitution.

00:10:42.120 You've got the folks up in Illinois now,

00:10:45.000 it's 17-3, I think they're going to take a couple more.

00:10:47.180 My beloved Commonwealth of Virginia,

00:10:49.180 which is 6-5 because it's kind of evenly split

00:10:51.640 between Democrats and Republicans,

00:10:53.400 they're going to put forward an amendment,

00:10:55.460 legislation or referendum in April to go 10-1.

00:10:59.640 The Democrats are on fire and playing smash mouth,

00:11:02.600 and we're up in Indiana fighting,

00:11:04.520 we've got Turning Point, we've got Heritage Action,

00:11:07.000 we've got all the tribes that come together.

00:11:09.040 I mean, it is a throwdown.

00:11:10.820 And you've got these Democrats,

00:11:12.040 and the Democrats understand how to use something

00:11:13.800 like Indiana as an example.

00:11:15.220 And I go back, in Texas,

00:11:18.040 which they turned into a fiasco,

00:11:20.580 we've let them off the hook.

00:11:21.740 There's no penalty for these guys playing smash mouth.

00:11:25.000 And it has to be, we have to do that.

00:11:27.000 And we've got to turn to Texas

00:11:28.420 and use that as an example, sir.

00:11:30.520 Well, and you always talk about this,

00:11:31.680 and Stephen, you're exactly right.

00:11:32.660 Like I said, why are the Democrats always the party

00:11:35.220 fighting as hard as possible for the future?

00:11:37.580 Why aren't the Republicans fighting that hard?

00:11:39.260 And you talk about having a maximalist strategy.

00:11:41.580 How many times, Steve, was I on with you here

00:11:44.240 on War Room during the Democrat forum break

00:11:46.480 talking about what we call the Harrison proposal?

00:11:49.120 Play hardball.

00:11:49.920 Every week the Democrats walk out,

00:11:51.860 that's one more seat.

00:11:52.880 My question is, why the hell didn't we pass a map

00:11:55.360 that gave Texas five more seats?

00:11:56.760 Because California, probably unconstitutionally, 0.94

00:11:59.260 by the way, is about to go and erase the gains from Texas.

00:12:02.740 And by the way, the left was gonna fight

00:12:05.040 the Texas redistricting with every bit as much fervor,

00:12:09.520 whether we added five seats or six seats

00:12:12.000 or seven seats or eight seats.

00:12:13.280 So why did we only go for five?

00:12:14.980 The author of the bill said

00:12:16.400 we could have done more than five.

00:12:17.540 We should have done more than five.

00:12:18.560 And by the way, we don't know if they're gonna count

00:12:20.520 because we've got these judicial activist judges down here,

00:12:22.980 this three-judge federal panel

00:12:24.160 that slapped our maps down.

00:12:25.840 So we don't even know how that's gonna play out.

00:12:27.720 And as best I can tell, there is no contingency

00:12:30.360 from the governor or the leadership of the Texas House

00:12:32.720 or the Texas Senate to bring us back to draw another map

00:12:35.400 in the event that our maps don't survive judicial scrutiny.

00:12:38.780 As far as I'm concerned,

00:12:39.680 but we should be working on another map right now

00:12:41.780 that adds five, six, seven, eight, nine seats.

00:12:44.340 We need to be fighting as hard for the future

00:12:46.300 as the Democrats.

00:12:47.720 And we should have passed a map

00:12:48.740 that had more than five seats.

00:12:50.220 I mean, as you know, as razor thin as these margins are,

00:12:53.200 the redistricting battle here in the state of Texas

00:12:55.080 may well be the definitive variable.

00:12:57.720 And whether the United States Congress

00:12:58.940 stays in Republican control

00:13:01.020 and Donald Trump gets an actual four-year presidency

00:13:03.540 or whether the last two years are stymied

00:13:05.920 because the U.S. House has fallen to the radical leftists

00:13:08.240 like AOC and Hakeem Jeffries.

00:13:10.440 I mean, you cannot overstate the stakes.

00:13:13.220 And you know, there's one party, best I can tell,

00:13:14.960 that always knows how high the stakes are

00:13:16.740 and is acting like it.

00:13:17.900 And sadly and embarrassingly enough,

00:13:19.320 far too often, it's not the Republican Party.

00:13:21.860 And it's past time for that to change.

00:13:24.220 And I want Texas actually to be leading

00:13:26.260 the fight against that.

00:13:28.600 Brian, where do people go to get all your information, sir?

00:13:32.800 The most hated, but as it turns out,

00:13:34.580 I guess the most powerful Twitter feed

00:13:35.980 in the state of Texas,

00:13:37.440 at Brian E. Harrison,

00:13:38.700 at Brian E. Harrison on X.

00:13:41.260 Do your civic duty today.

00:13:42.460 Piss off a rhino. 0.99

00:13:43.360 Go follow me on X,

00:13:44.540 at Brian E. Harrison,

00:13:45.620 and see if I'd be remiss if I didn't end here

00:13:47.320 by just saying it one more time.

00:13:48.700 Thank you to the posse.

00:13:50.060 If you posted on social media,

00:13:51.700 if you followed me,

00:13:52.380 if you called the governor,

00:13:53.260 the lieutenant governor,

00:13:53.920 the speaker,

00:13:54.420 if you sent an email,

00:13:55.340 if you posted on social media

00:13:56.480 to stop DEI,

00:13:57.700 to fire the Texas A&M president,

00:13:59.200 for the DMV to stop giving

00:14:00.260 vehicle registrations to illegal,

00:14:02.320 these victories,

00:14:03.720 big victories,

00:14:05.140 would never have happened without you.

00:14:32.780 comes from their political arm.

00:14:35.020 Glenn's story and the team,

00:14:36.160 absolutely incredible.

00:14:37.440 I'll be with Glenn tomorrow.

00:14:38.440 We'll be plotting some more stuff.

00:14:39.960 There's so much of the Texas

00:14:41.240 is in the balance.

00:14:43.320 This situation with the Muslim Brotherhood, 0.92

00:14:46.120 Abbott finally,

00:14:46.880 with a lot of attention paid to it,

00:14:49.760 said that there are designated them

00:14:51.660 a terrorist organization.

00:14:53.440 It's also CARE.

00:14:54.440 And I think help,

00:14:55.520 let's be blunt,

00:14:56.500 help the Trump administration

00:14:57.640 get rolling on this thing.

00:14:59.500 So 972-PATRIOT.

00:15:02.260 Talk to him today about switching

00:15:03.740 to the best phone service,

00:15:05.720 best mobile service in the world

00:15:06.840 with the best company

00:15:08.300 that's got your back.

00:15:09.080 So Tej Gill,

00:15:11.800 I just want to read

00:15:12.320 a couple of quotes here.

00:15:13.560 I just gave you this specific

00:15:14.900 and he said,

00:15:15.540 even from Putin,

00:15:16.120 this is hard.

00:15:16.640 President Vladimir Putin

00:15:17.900 warned the European powers

00:15:18.980 on Tuesday

00:15:19.520 that if they started a war

00:15:20.900 with Russia,

00:15:21.520 then Moscow was ready to fight

00:15:23.120 and that the defeat

00:15:24.260 of the European powers

00:15:25.300 would be so absolute

00:15:26.500 that there would be no one left

00:15:28.340 to even negotiate with.

00:15:29.720 Almost four years into

00:15:30.700 the war in Ukraine,

00:15:31.940 the deadliest conflict

00:15:32.860 in Europe since World War II,

00:15:34.260 Russia has failed

00:15:34.920 to conquer the country,

00:15:36.400 a much smaller neighbor

00:15:37.320 which has been supported

00:15:38.880 by European powers

00:15:39.840 in the United States.

00:15:40.560 Ukraine and European powers

00:15:41.740 have repeatedly warned

00:15:43.080 that if Putin wins

00:15:44.040 the Ukraine war,

00:15:45.360 then he would attack

00:15:46.080 a NATO member,

00:15:46.880 a claim which Putin

00:15:47.640 has repeatedly dismissed

00:15:48.880 as nonsense.

00:15:50.460 Asked by a reporter

00:15:51.400 about remarks

00:15:52.260 in the Russian media

00:15:53.160 that Hungarian foreign minister

00:15:55.000 Peter Zler-Arto

00:15:56.900 had cautioned

00:15:58.420 that Europe was preparing

00:15:59.500 a war against Russia.

00:16:01.260 Putin said

00:16:02.120 that Russia did not want 0.67

00:16:04.020 a war with Europe.

00:16:05.620 This is a quote from Putin.

00:16:07.160 If Europe suddenly wants

00:16:08.520 to start a war with us

00:16:10.260 and starts it,

00:16:11.660 Putin said,

00:16:12.480 then it would end

00:16:13.500 so swiftly for Europe

00:16:15.180 that Russia would have 0.94

00:16:16.360 no one left

00:16:17.280 to negotiate with.

00:16:19.240 Putin used the Russian word

00:16:21.040 for war.

00:16:22.800 He also suggested

00:16:23.680 that the war in Ukraine

00:16:24.860 was not a full-blown war

00:16:26.420 and that Russia

00:16:27.540 was acting

00:16:28.700 in a surgical manner

00:16:29.920 which would not be repeated

00:16:31.440 in a direct confrontation

00:16:32.600 with European powers.

00:16:34.660 Today,

00:16:35.220 you had Witkoff

00:16:36.120 and Jared were there.

00:16:37.880 I put it up on social media

00:16:40.340 on my Getter account

00:16:41.240 with Putin.

00:16:41.920 It showed the introductory meetings.

00:16:43.100 I just said,

00:16:43.580 hey,

00:16:44.180 finally,

00:16:44.800 we're sitting down

00:16:45.620 with the guys who won.

00:16:47.100 They won on the ground

00:16:48.000 without massive U.S.

00:16:50.540 weapons sales

00:16:51.600 or actually giving them

00:16:52.960 weapons on many occasions

00:16:54.680 without huge infusions

00:16:57.060 of cash.

00:16:58.360 The Ukrainian people

00:16:59.240 wouldn't,

00:16:59.660 you know,

00:16:59.880 they wouldn't be

00:17:00.480 where they are today

00:17:03.080 on the battlefield.

00:17:03.880 The thing would be long over.

00:17:04.820 But they have almost

00:17:06.160 two million casualties

00:17:07.380 dead and wounded

00:17:08.340 and the country

00:17:08.940 looks like Dresden

00:17:09.860 in 1945.

00:17:11.400 Somebody's got to become

00:17:12.260 a realist there

00:17:12.940 and I'm most disturbed

00:17:14.560 by seeing the personnel

00:17:15.620 and you should note

00:17:16.500 Marco Rubio

00:17:17.340 was not in Russia today.

00:17:19.180 Just saying,

00:17:20.840 it was Kushner

00:17:21.800 and Witkoff

00:17:22.540 were there

00:17:23.240 with Putin

00:17:23.980 across the table

00:17:24.960 in any of this

00:17:26.160 loose talk

00:17:26.860 and it is loose talk

00:17:28.000 about us giving

00:17:28.840 sovereignty guarantees

00:17:30.240 to countries

00:17:31.940 that have guys

00:17:32.980 like Euromack running it.

00:17:34.320 He's now virtually

00:17:35.580 in hiding

00:17:36.120 if not under arrest

00:17:37.300 or heading to the front,

00:17:39.060 right,

00:17:39.360 because they now

00:17:39.940 caught him red-handed

00:17:40.740 with stealing,

00:17:41.600 they say,

00:17:42.080 $100 million

00:17:42.580 but we know

00:17:43.320 it's billions.

00:17:44.840 So, Tej,

00:17:46.460 you've dedicated

00:17:47.440 a big part of your life

00:17:48.640 to being a patriot

00:17:50.160 and going to serve

00:17:51.140 your country

00:17:52.040 on foreign battlefields.

00:17:54.120 Your assessment

00:17:55.260 of Ukraine,

00:17:56.420 particularly the situation

00:17:57.460 where we're talking

00:17:58.040 about security guarantees

00:17:59.860 and sovereignty

00:18:01.040 and you saw

00:18:01.960 on Saturday

00:18:02.820 the president

00:18:04.160 and Homan

00:18:05.540 and the guys

00:18:06.040 finally decided

00:18:06.620 to go into New York City.

00:18:07.800 I mean,

00:18:08.080 they went in first

00:18:08.860 at the very first

00:18:09.640 day's administration

00:18:10.340 but to have a show

00:18:11.660 of force with ICE

00:18:12.820 now that Mandami,

00:18:14.580 the Ugandan Marxist

00:18:16.760 jihadist

00:18:17.960 is going to take over,

00:18:19.500 they had an ICE raid

00:18:20.460 and I mean,

00:18:21.000 it wasn't one of these

00:18:21.600 ones they planned on,

00:18:22.360 it was just kind of

00:18:22.880 ICE guys going down

00:18:23.920 into New York City

00:18:25.400 on a Saturday

00:18:26.620 during the holiday season,

00:18:28.160 during the Christmas season,

00:18:29.640 right,

00:18:29.880 the Saturday

00:18:30.360 after Thanksgiving

00:18:31.600 and man,

00:18:32.820 it was a riot.

00:18:33.980 I mean,

00:18:34.360 you had people

00:18:34.920 throwing garbage cans

00:18:35.900 at them

00:18:36.360 and these people

00:18:38.640 freaked out

00:18:39.520 and I got to give

00:18:40.300 a hat tip

00:18:41.340 to the ICE agents

00:18:42.300 for keeping your cool

00:18:43.700 and just getting

00:18:45.200 the job done

00:18:45.900 but we don't have,

00:18:47.160 this proves,

00:18:47.860 we do not have sovereignty

00:18:49.360 on New York City,

00:18:51.500 our most,

00:18:52.140 the global financial capital

00:18:54.060 of the world

00:18:54.580 and the most important city

00:18:56.320 in this country

00:18:56.980 and it's been

00:18:57.900 the most important city

00:18:59.020 virtually since

00:19:00.400 the founding of the nation

00:19:02.040 and the revolution.

00:19:03.180 I mean,

00:19:03.380 Philadelphia for a while,

00:19:04.480 Boston for a while

00:19:05.080 but it was always New York.

00:19:07.000 This is,

00:19:07.620 hundreds of years

00:19:08.480 has been the most important city

00:19:09.780 in our nation

00:19:10.360 and now we don't control it.

00:19:12.240 Tej Gil,

00:19:12.860 your thoughts and observations.

00:19:15.360 All right.

00:19:16.180 Where do I start?

00:19:17.160 I'll start with Putin.

00:19:20.140 Putin is,

00:19:20.940 he's basically crushed

00:19:22.620 the Ukrainian military

00:19:24.600 now since,

00:19:25.920 for the last couple years.

00:19:27.300 No matter how much money,

00:19:28.920 how much technology,

00:19:30.500 how much manpower

00:19:31.420 Ukraine throws out of this, 0.73

00:19:34.120 Russia just keeps 0.95

00:19:35.180 grinding them down. 0.91

00:19:35.940 That's a meat grinder.

00:19:36.780 It's a battle of attrition

00:19:38.180 and Ukraine is losing

00:19:39.960 no matter what they do.

00:19:42.380 They're sending 14-year-olds 0.93

00:19:43.980 to the front lines.

00:19:45.140 They signed something

00:19:45.900 where they can send

00:19:46.640 65-year-old men

00:19:47.820 to the front lines

00:19:48.620 and they still are losing.

00:19:50.580 Russia is just slowly 0.53

00:19:52.980 inching forward

00:19:54.300 one day at a time.

00:19:55.480 They're not doing anything big

00:19:56.560 and now they've developed

00:19:58.600 these new

00:19:59.180 short-range ballistic missiles

00:20:01.880 that have conventional

00:20:03.480 warheads on them

00:20:04.340 and there's no way 0.94

00:20:05.960 we can shoot them down.

00:20:07.000 There's no way 0.97

00:20:07.660 Ukraine can shoot them down 0.94

00:20:09.480 and Europe just wants

00:20:12.360 to keep this fight

00:20:13.100 going and going and going.

00:20:14.340 Every time

00:20:14.940 there's about to be

00:20:16.260 a peace deal

00:20:17.260 or peace negotiations,

00:20:19.480 Zelensky does

00:20:20.260 a crazy stunt.

00:20:21.760 You know, 0.89

00:20:21.900 you bomb the Russian 1.00

00:20:22.860 strategic bomber fleet.

00:20:24.480 They send sea drones

00:20:25.620 into the Russian tankers.

00:20:27.020 They do something

00:20:27.760 to sabotage it.

00:20:28.620 They do not want peace

00:20:29.960 no matter what

00:20:30.700 because if there's peace,

00:20:33.500 the spigot,

00:20:34.300 the money spigot

00:20:35.260 gets turned off.

00:20:36.380 And you talk about

00:20:37.920 ice raids.

00:20:39.220 Europe needs ice raids.

00:20:41.380 Europe needs

00:20:41.860 to close their borders.

00:20:43.640 If Europe wants

00:20:44.560 to fight Russia,

00:20:45.320 maybe they should start

00:20:46.220 recruiting all these 0.94

00:20:47.460 Muslim immigrants 0.94

00:20:48.340 on the streets. 1.00

00:20:49.860 Europe has lost

00:20:51.080 everything.

00:20:52.480 There's no more

00:20:53.100 Europe anymore.

00:20:53.760 Europe is now

00:20:54.300 an extension of Arabia 0.74

00:20:55.440 and an extension

00:20:56.560 of North Africa.

00:20:58.500 The whole European

00:21:00.140 lineage is gone.

00:21:01.900 And they can,

00:21:03.280 I don't think

00:21:03.900 there's any way

00:21:04.380 they can beat Russia.

00:21:05.220 Maybe if they have,

00:21:06.040 if they use nukes

00:21:06.980 or if they do it

00:21:08.420 real quick right

00:21:09.240 out the gate.

00:21:09.720 But if not,

00:21:10.260 then it's just going

00:21:11.000 to be a battle

00:21:11.440 of attrition

00:21:12.360 just like Ukraine 0.93

00:21:13.380 and Russia,

00:21:15.780 that's where they live.

00:21:17.680 They live in the meat grinder.

00:21:19.200 They're going to just

00:21:19.900 wear down

00:21:21.160 the European troops.

00:21:23.480 This is

00:21:24.240 the tragedy

00:21:25.220 of Ukraine.

00:21:26.020 We said this

00:21:26.700 on the eve of the war

00:21:27.680 three years ago

00:21:28.620 and now almost

00:21:29.600 three and a half,

00:21:30.120 almost four years ago,

00:21:30.900 I guess,

00:21:31.600 that it's not about

00:21:33.560 the courage

00:21:34.140 and the valor

00:21:34.740 of the Ukrainian people

00:21:35.880 and their dedication.

00:21:37.700 They know

00:21:38.420 it's a meat grinder.

00:21:39.280 It's one of the reasons

00:21:39.960 the mothers and fathers

00:21:41.300 have worked so hard

00:21:41.940 to keep the young men 0.98

00:21:42.720 out of it.

00:21:43.760 It's the reason

00:21:44.500 that now they have

00:21:45.340 300,000 deserters

00:21:47.400 that they're now searching

00:21:48.660 through the European

00:21:49.280 capitals on.

00:21:50.100 It is a meat grinder.

00:21:51.820 The Russian way of war 0.95

00:21:53.080 when you go to the bloodlands

00:21:54.440 is not fancy, right?

00:21:56.420 It's not fancy.

00:21:57.320 They got armor,

00:21:58.080 they got artillery

00:21:58.800 and they got infantry

00:21:59.700 and quite frankly,

00:22:01.000 they're kind of indifferent

00:22:01.880 to how much the infantry

00:22:03.220 gets chewed up.

00:22:04.500 The Ukrainians have seen that

00:22:05.600 and that's what's so amazing

00:22:07.140 about them as a people.

00:22:08.140 But the reality is

00:22:09.900 you're just not going

00:22:11.120 to beat the Russian army

00:22:12.120 and what's happening

00:22:13.260 here is that more

00:22:14.340 and more Ukrainians,

00:22:15.620 I think the president

00:22:16.340 said the other day

00:22:16.940 it's 25,000 casualties

00:22:18.320 between both sides

00:22:20.560 a month.

00:22:21.780 One of the bloodiest

00:22:22.640 years of the war

00:22:23.300 has been this year.

00:22:24.440 It's not reported

00:22:25.080 by the mainstream media.

00:22:26.060 You don't see BBC

00:22:27.180 and MSNBC.

00:22:28.660 Remember the first six months

00:22:29.920 of this war,

00:22:30.560 every night they were there

00:22:31.600 you were seeing

00:22:32.160 all kind of footage.

00:22:33.440 They don't show it anymore

00:22:34.380 because the Ukrainians

00:22:35.460 are getting pounded. 0.65

00:22:36.840 It's time to bring it

00:22:38.020 to a close

00:22:38.760 but the Russians 0.70

00:22:40.280 are going to kind of

00:22:40.960 dictate some terms here

00:22:41.960 because they won

00:22:42.580 on the battlefield

00:22:43.180 and if you don't believe it,

00:22:44.900 they'll keep going,

00:22:45.880 they'll just keep pounding

00:22:46.700 and like I said,

00:22:47.700 they haven't taken Odessa.

00:22:49.240 Their performance

00:22:49.940 hasn't exactly been

00:22:51.120 startling.

00:22:53.760 I don't see,

00:22:54.440 back when I was in the service

00:22:55.580 and in the Pentagon,

00:22:56.480 we had all the concern

00:22:57.540 about the Red Army

00:22:58.260 coming across the folded gap

00:22:59.620 and of course

00:23:00.020 the North German plane.

00:23:01.720 I don't see that happening

00:23:02.780 now with this army.

00:23:03.980 Hell, they couldn't even

00:23:04.600 take parts of Ukraine.

00:23:06.220 I don't see them

00:23:06.660 blowing through Poland 0.98

00:23:07.500 and into Germany

00:23:08.340 but the Europeans

00:23:10.580 got to know

00:23:10.980 they got to defend themselves.

00:23:12.020 The point,

00:23:12.900 we can't be giving

00:23:14.120 security guarantees

00:23:15.260 and sovereignty guarantees

00:23:17.120 in a part of the world

00:23:18.600 where you have guys

00:23:19.700 like Euromac

00:23:20.520 in these governments

00:23:21.720 and Zelensky making decisions.

00:23:23.980 That's an obligation

00:23:24.820 to the American people.

00:23:25.760 That's an obligation

00:23:26.580 of,

00:23:27.780 look at these kids

00:23:28.540 10 years old today.

00:23:30.120 You know,

00:23:30.500 in 7, 8, 9, 10 years

00:23:32.360 we could be backing

00:23:33.740 some kind of corrupt

00:23:34.700 Ukrainian government

00:23:35.660 with these guys

00:23:37.200 in Brussels

00:23:37.720 that have basically

00:23:38.720 turned their countries over 0.97

00:23:40.140 to the Arabs

00:23:41.440 and to the Muslims,

00:23:42.760 right?

00:23:43.120 And they're our partners.

00:23:45.200 Brussels,

00:23:45.720 30% Muslim.

00:23:47.640 The Fifth Republic

00:23:49.120 in France

00:23:49.980 is about to fall

00:23:50.680 because of finances.

00:23:52.160 The UK's got nothing.

00:23:53.620 They're going to have

00:23:53.900 a civil war in the UK.

00:23:55.200 Those are supposed

00:23:56.020 to be our partners.

00:23:57.260 They would be giving

00:23:57.980 guarantees we depend upon.

00:23:59.440 It'll all be

00:24:00.020 the United States.

00:24:01.220 It'll be our blood,

00:24:02.860 our treasure.

00:24:03.780 And that's why

00:24:04.280 it's outrageous.

00:24:05.300 General Patton,

00:24:06.540 General MacArthur,

00:24:08.180 General Eisenhower,

00:24:09.580 Field Marshal Montgomery,

00:24:11.300 everybody said, 0.80

00:24:12.640 even as crazy

00:24:13.460 as Winston Churchill

00:24:14.360 got about the Balkans,

00:24:15.540 nobody would ever

00:24:17.700 get involved

00:24:18.440 in the war

00:24:19.220 in World War II

00:24:20.120 in the bloodlands.

00:24:21.080 That was for the Russians 1.00

00:24:22.160 and the Germans 0.51

00:24:22.820 to pound it out.

00:24:23.720 And trust me,

00:24:24.600 it is the bloodiest battles

00:24:25.840 in world history

00:24:26.600 all took a place

00:24:27.520 in that general area.

00:24:29.240 And the leaders

00:24:29.980 of the American

00:24:30.920 and allied forces

00:24:31.900 kept us out.

00:24:33.180 We cannot be giving

00:24:34.320 sovereignty guarantees 0.98

00:24:35.740 to a bunch of crooks. 0.97

00:24:37.680 That's what they are. 1.00

00:24:38.540 You're one of the great crooks 0.98

00:24:39.620 out there. 1.00

00:24:40.020 And Zelensky's a crook. 0.99

00:24:41.280 You're going to give 0.99

00:24:41.740 a guarantee

00:24:43.000 to a government like that.

00:24:44.180 And so when Marco Rubio says

00:24:45.540 our number one thing

00:24:46.920 down in Miami

00:24:47.520 is to make sure

00:24:48.320 the Ukrainian people

00:24:49.700 know there'll never

00:24:50.440 be another war. 0.95

00:24:51.320 Are you crazy? 0.86

00:24:52.780 For 5,000 years

00:24:54.100 they've been pounding

00:24:54.980 each other.

00:24:56.140 Pounding each other.

00:24:57.100 Anyway, I know

00:24:57.880 I had you on here.

00:24:59.000 I wanted to talk about that.

00:25:00.780 But I really had you on here

00:25:01.840 to talk about

00:25:02.360 your great coffee.

00:25:03.180 You used to be a gunman.

00:25:04.380 Now you're a barista.

00:25:07.020 So tell me about your coffee.

00:25:08.840 Where do people go, sir?

00:25:36.300 one of the reviews.

00:25:37.280 It's the newest one on there.

00:25:38.600 Somebody said

00:25:39.060 that they haven't

00:25:39.580 drank coffee in years

00:25:40.420 because the acidity

00:25:42.060 makes them nauseous

00:25:43.400 and they drink

00:25:44.580 our coffee.

00:25:45.740 So go on the website.

00:26:14.760 promo code WARROOM.

00:26:15.860 It is the best coffee

00:26:17.380 out there.

00:26:18.980 Thank you, brother.

00:26:20.180 Thank you for

00:26:20.900 using the sites

00:26:21.460 on Ukraine and Russia.

00:26:23.980 Big problem.

00:26:24.900 President Trump's

00:26:25.460 got so many

00:26:26.040 I'm trying to stop

00:26:26.660 the kinetic part

00:26:27.400 of the Third World War.

00:26:29.420 I think we could be close

00:26:30.820 if we're logical.

00:26:32.060 No guarantees.

00:26:33.120 We want guarantees.

00:26:34.040 Look to Paris.

00:26:35.120 Look to Rome.

00:26:36.380 Look to London.

00:26:37.540 Look to Berlin.

00:26:38.440 How about that?

00:26:38.980 The big four.

00:26:40.220 Step up.

00:26:41.060 You guarantee it.

00:26:42.100 You guys are such big shots.

00:26:46.540 take us out

00:26:47.020 with American Heart.

00:26:48.220 Couldn't be a better song

00:26:49.240 to end this segment.

00:26:51.240 Joe Allen's

00:26:52.160 in the house

00:26:53.020 and he's got a lot

00:26:53.840 to report today.

00:26:55.120 Huge victory

00:26:56.620 against the Bologarchs 1.00

00:26:58.460 by the Populists.

00:26:59.540 He'll explain it all

00:27:00.240 to you next

00:27:01.020 in the war room.

00:27:03.080 I got American power.

00:27:06.800 I got American base

00:27:09.500 in America's heart.

00:27:13.640 Let me be blunt.

00:27:14.520 Gold is up

00:27:15.320 around 40% this year.

00:27:16.960 That's not speculation.

00:27:18.360 That's reality.

00:27:19.620 And if a portion

00:27:20.260 of your savings

00:27:21.120 isn't diversified

00:27:22.240 into gold,

00:27:22.880 you're missing the boat.

00:27:24.120 Here's the facts.

00:27:25.360 Inflation is still

00:27:26.100 too high.

00:27:26.880 The U.S. dollar

00:27:27.420 is still too weak.

00:27:28.280 And the government debt

00:27:29.440 is insurmountable.

00:27:30.900 This is why central banks

00:27:32.520 throughout the world

00:27:33.680 are flocking to gold

00:27:34.940 at record rates.

00:27:37.000 They're the ones

00:27:37.500 driving prices up

00:27:38.580 to new record highs.

00:27:40.840 But it's not too late

00:27:41.640 to buy gold

00:27:42.240 from Birch Gold Group

00:27:43.160 and get in the door now. 1.00

00:27:51.000 IRA in gold.

00:28:03.380 It's just useful information.

00:28:05.480 The best indicator

00:28:06.540 of the future

00:28:07.280 is the past.

00:28:08.700 And gold has historically

00:28:09.860 been a safe haven

00:28:11.160 for a millennia.

00:28:12.840 What else

00:28:13.400 can I say?

00:28:15.360 What else

00:28:15.740 does Birch Gold

00:28:16.380 need to say?

00:28:17.500 The hedge

00:28:18.220 against times

00:28:19.100 of financial turbulence

00:28:20.060 has always been gold.

00:28:21.520 So text BANNON

00:28:35.000 When you're buried

00:28:36.020 in credit card

00:28:36.840 and loan debt

00:28:37.660 it's only human nature

00:28:39.000 to put it off

00:28:39.640 and say

00:28:40.000 hey I'll deal

00:28:40.880 with this later.

00:28:42.300 If that's you

00:28:43.200 here's a hidden fact

00:28:44.400 the debt strategy experts

00:28:46.120 at Done With Debt

00:28:47.140 shared with me.

00:28:48.500 They discovered

00:28:49.240 a little known strategy

00:28:50.520 that works

00:28:51.040 in your favor

00:28:51.900 to dramatically

00:28:52.680 reduce or even

00:28:53.640 erase your debt

00:28:55.040 altogether.

00:28:56.020 They aggressively

00:28:56.640 engage everyone

00:28:57.860 you owe money to

00:28:59.020 in September

00:28:59.720 and here's why.

00:29:00.720 They know which

00:29:01.300 lenders and credit

00:29:02.000 card companies

00:29:02.660 are doing year-end

00:29:03.620 accounting

00:29:04.040 and need to cut deals.

00:29:05.980 They even know

00:29:06.540 which ones have

00:29:07.260 year-end audits

00:29:08.340 and need to get

00:29:08.980 your debt

00:29:09.460 off the books

00:29:10.360 quickly.

00:29:12.040 That means

00:29:46.620 financial research

00:29:49.260 Steve Bannon here.

00:29:50.400 War room listeners

00:29:51.020 know Jim Rickards.

00:29:52.100 I love this guy.

00:29:53.540 He's our wise man.

00:29:54.540 A former CIA,

00:29:55.700 Pentagon,

00:29:56.160 and White House

00:29:56.640 advisor with an

00:29:57.840 unmatched grasp

00:29:58.760 of geopolitics

00:29:59.720 and capital markets.

00:30:01.160 Jim predicted

00:30:01.740 Trump's Electoral

00:30:02.480 College victory

00:30:03.300 exactly 312 to 226

00:30:06.720 down to the actual

00:30:08.620 number itself.

00:30:10.440 Now he's issuing

00:30:11.380 a dire warning

00:30:12.240 about April 11th.

00:30:13.780 A moment that could

00:31:39.120 COSA sets a national standard to protect kids across America.

00:31:43.380 I made precise changes to ensure COSA is durable.

00:31:48.000 Don't mistake durability for weakness, folks.

00:31:51.960 This bill has teeth.

00:31:55.480 By focusing on design features rather than protecting speech,

00:32:00.140 we will ensure it can withstand legal challenge

00:32:03.460 while delivering real protections for kids online.

00:32:07.900 The Internet is not partitioned by state lines.

00:32:10.380 The current patchwork of state regulations creates confusion for both platforms and consumers.

00:32:15.360 A federal law must be strong and preemptive to ensure all American children 1.00

00:32:19.120 have the same high level of protection.

00:32:21.960 As Congress considers new legislation,

00:32:24.920 a threshold is to strike the right balance between the Constitution's protection of free expression

00:32:29.460 and the governmental interest in youth safety.

00:32:32.920 Thus far, many online safety laws have failed to strike that balance.

00:32:36.600 Several states have proposed inherently content-based regulations,

00:32:39.700 requiring platforms to judge speech as harmful or detrimental.

00:32:42.940 These regulations trigger strict scrutiny,

00:32:45.800 and courts have historically struck them down for being overbroad

00:32:49.380 and infringing on the free expression of adults and minors,

00:32:53.320 including content reflective of their own religious or political speech.

00:32:56.900 Young people, I want to thank the witnesses,

00:32:58.660 but the panel is missing a parent.

00:33:02.360 There are many here today who could have testified.

00:33:05.100 You're missing a young person.

00:33:07.280 There are other young people here who could have testified.

00:33:10.040 You're missing a psychologist or a pediatrician.

00:33:13.120 And one of the many whistleblowers,

00:33:15.320 former tech company employees,

00:33:17.160 to testify on the insidious schemes to addict and exploit children,

00:33:22.240 even as tech company executives knew of the harm to kids.

00:33:28.260 So, Joe, you've been waiting for a while.

00:33:30.400 You're actually in the war room.

00:33:32.860 I'm going to toss it to you.

00:33:34.060 I want you to talk about, first, we had a big victory today,

00:33:37.540 and I want the war and posse still to go to Article 3, etc.

00:33:41.120 And then I want you to talk about your experience last night

00:33:44.040 and then what you saw at this committee meeting today.

00:33:46.760 Sir, the floor is yours.

00:33:48.380 Well, Steve, definitely a big cause to celebrate.

00:33:52.960 Big win with the NDAA.

00:33:55.780 The moratorium language will not be in there.

00:33:58.740 I think you are absolutely correct to keep the posse vigilant.

00:34:03.160 There are a number of other avenues that this could creep back in,

00:34:06.520 and Steve Scalise has expressed his intent

00:34:09.680 to ensure that federal preemption will be the path for him and his cohort.

00:34:15.400 But we see here that the war room posse's voices are heard.

00:34:21.480 All of the congressmen and congresswomen who stood up

00:34:25.200 sent the letter to all sign the letter in protest of the NDAA language.

00:34:35.520 I think the collective action has shown that people do make a difference.

00:34:41.460 You put your shoulder to the wheel, real change can happen.

00:34:45.040 But it comes with trade-offs.

00:34:48.020 And one of the trade-offs, Steve, with the NDAA is the GAIN Act.

00:34:53.660 The GAIN Act is most likely then going to be removed.

00:34:57.900 That would have protected U.S. interests in chip exports.

00:35:02.800 It would have given U.S. companies first priority

00:35:06.180 in any sort of advanced, specifically artificial intelligence-based processing units.

00:35:13.660 It would appear that people like Jensen Wang, NVIDIA, they have gotten their way

00:35:22.220 and at least at the moment will be free to export with the exception of China.

00:35:28.580 But that is still up in the air.

00:35:31.060 So it comes with trade-offs.

00:35:32.800 That being said, I am super stoked and super proud of the war room posse

00:35:38.520 and everyone else across the aisle included who stood up and said that states have the right

00:35:45.180 to determine their own future.

00:35:47.140 And I foresee the federalist approach to this being the one that wins out.

00:35:55.200 Something on Capitol Hill today shows us that the process of trying to create a federal framework

00:36:04.500 is fraught for a number of reasons.

00:36:06.420 The House met today for a hearing.

00:36:10.220 The Commerce Committee met for a hearing to discuss the Kids' Online Safety Act

00:36:17.860 and a number of other, in fact, 19 bills intended to ensure that children are not exposed

00:36:25.360 to any kind of harmful online content, at least if it's within control of the tech companies.

00:36:33.540 It's still up in the air.

00:36:36.100 You'll remember that COSA was introduced in 2022, so it's been floundering for years.

00:36:43.500 It's still floundering.

00:36:45.000 And as we heard from some of the people who were testifying and the representatives who were

00:36:50.520 speaking on it, there is a huge argument about whether or not the liability should fall on

00:36:57.960 the companies themselves.

00:36:59.380 So we heard a lot last night from Shelby Knox of Parents Together and others about the duty

00:37:08.200 of care clause in COSA, which would have put the pressure on social media platforms, Google,

00:37:16.340 any kind of search engine to ensure that if their platform, it's kind of like Section 230,

00:37:22.620 if their platform knowingly provided the access to children for predators or, in the case of

00:37:32.040 artificial intelligence, knowingly had chatbots who could, for instance, persuade children into

00:37:39.180 suicide, then the liability would have fallen on the companies.

00:37:42.960 In the new defanged legislation, it basically dictates that the companies have to have reasonable

00:37:51.060 policies and procedures in place to protect against violence, drugs being distributed to

00:37:57.800 children, and other sorts of financial fraud and sexual exploitation.

00:38:04.060 But it doesn't leave room for true accountability, for true liability on the companies.

00:38:13.700 The companies simply have to have the policies in place.

00:38:16.980 It's then determined afterwards, even if harm is done, as in the case of the suicide, it's

00:38:22.800 then determined whether or not the company simply had the policy.

00:38:26.720 It's not the harm itself.

00:38:28.100 It's being framed as a kind of free speech issue.

00:38:32.860 And I've heard from a number of conservatives, libertarian types and others, that if you put

00:38:37.860 the liability on these tech companies, then you constrain the speech of citizens.

00:38:42.580 But it's interesting, Steve, the main arguments for this, beginning in 2022, were coming from

00:38:49.420 groups like the gay rights and advocacy groups who claimed that such policies, if dictated by

00:38:56.480 Republicans would mean that, in essence, people would not be able to speak to children about

00:39:03.000 homosexual acts. 0.60

00:39:05.720 So it's not, in my opinion, I think that wherever this goes, if it ends in a place anywhere close

00:39:13.040 to where we are right now, where these platforms provide access to children for predators to

00:39:19.960 exploit them, as we saw with the recent unsealing of documents for Meta, the suit against Meta

00:39:26.900 and Alphabet and others, if it's allowed to continue in this fashion, it's just going to

00:39:33.340 continue to degrade the social fabric.

00:39:36.960 It's going to continue to expose children unnecessarily to this sort of poison.

00:39:42.460 It's going to leave these tech companies in position where they continue to profit from

00:39:46.300 it.

00:39:46.480 And as AI becomes a kind of autonomous corrupter, it's just going to see, we're going to see

00:39:54.780 this landslide of decadence and basically social decay continue at the behest of these companies

00:40:02.800 and with zero accountability.

00:40:06.580 Here's, help me through here, because we're trying to work through these problems together.

00:40:11.280 There was a huge victory today on Capitol Hill that, for the second time, ladies and gentlemen,

00:40:17.700 the tech oligarchs with their running dogs on Capitol Hill tried to slip into a massive

00:40:24.400 bill, a must-pass bill, because this is the authorization for the Defense Department, this

00:40:31.560 moratorium, or what we refer to as AI amnesty, okay, which opened a Pandora's box of just madness.

00:40:38.700 And it was defeated by this audience.

00:40:40.780 And make sure you still go to Article III to load up, to bill blasters.

00:40:45.620 Still, you know, it ain't over until it's over.

00:40:47.740 Just like in Tennessee, it's not going to be over until it's absolutely over.

00:40:51.960 So both of those are, they should be victories.

00:40:55.840 They can be victories.

00:40:56.800 We just have to make sure we're closers on this.

00:40:58.960 What has happened, though, I think, in this discussion of parents' rights and concern for

00:41:07.940 children, which is a big part of this, Mike Davis was talking about the four Cs, and part

00:41:13.100 of that is child protection.

00:41:16.000 What has come to light, particularly with the families of the ones that have been the

00:41:19.620 suicide victims on chat, you saw last night when you were at the National Gallery of Art

00:41:24.640 and you were interviewing these families, and it's heart-rendering.

00:41:28.280 Some of these stories are about, you know, the kids ordering fentanyl or something else,

00:41:32.960 something that the algorithm got them and they were doing different behavior on Facebook or whatever.

00:41:40.260 And those algorithms are very powerful, the way they can drive you into things, right?

00:41:45.560 And that has to be dealt with.

00:41:47.040 And I think people are thinking through how it gets dealt with.

00:41:50.140 The artificial intelligence part of it, and although that is at the core also algorithmic,

00:41:55.900 but the way that that interacts with people is a danger that's even as bad as all those

00:42:02.640 families laid out about getting access to drugs, of being cyber-bullied, of all of a sudden

00:42:09.660 being open because of the algorithms to depression or two things and led them to sites that talked

00:42:15.180 about suicide, right, is different than this whole aspect of a bot or the agentic activity,

00:42:22.840 the activity as a bot, as an agent in your life to lead people and particularly young people

00:42:28.320 being formed.

00:42:29.620 That is, I think, a whole new set of horrors.

00:42:32.240 Having not really dealt with the first set, now we're layered onto a second set, which is

00:42:38.080 much more sophisticated and much more dangerous.

00:42:41.340 That even adults who are quite stable probably couldn't even handle one of these bots talking

00:42:49.080 to you and luring you into something you didn't want to do or messing with you so much that

00:42:52.940 you had what you call AI bot psychosis.

00:42:58.180 And I think that this has got to be addressed.

00:43:00.140 This is the complexity of this time.

00:43:02.760 And I tell people we're an inflection point in human history that so many of the decisions

00:43:07.840 are going to be having to be made by young parents.

00:43:09.640 Do I enhance my children?

00:43:11.940 You know, do they need to get chipped to be competitive in the modern world, to get into

00:43:15.620 Stanford?

00:43:16.320 Like, you know, I went to Stanford.

00:43:18.420 Do I need to get my children chipped? 0.69

00:43:20.520 Because now there's 100 million people trying to get into Stanford all over the world and

00:43:25.360 taking more foreigners than Americans.

00:43:27.580 This whole thing about the agentic activity of these bots is so scary.

00:43:33.780 And that has to be dealt with.

00:43:35.380 And I realize the administration's under tremendous pressure, the people in Capitol Hill, the

00:43:39.340 companies.

00:43:39.980 But somehow we're just going to have to work through this.

00:43:42.260 And that's why it's just going to have to go in some sort of regular order.

00:43:46.080 This whole issue about the Chinese Communist Party, they keep holding their face or their 0.98

00:43:50.580 head. 0.98

00:43:50.960 We need to cut them off with everything. 1.00

00:43:53.540 That has to be a priority.

00:43:54.840 We need to stop funding the Chinese, fueling the Chinese, selling chips and all that. 1.00

00:44:00.520 And then if they can make the case, well, they're making their own chips again, then you have

00:44:04.760 to deal with it separately.

00:44:05.720 But until then, you've got to deal with these regulations, sir.

00:44:09.040 You know, Steve, last night you pointed out when we were speaking to the parents that the

00:44:16.000 parents who had gathered there, their children had been lured by human beings via these online

00:44:23.760 platforms.

00:44:24.760 And we know that into the mists of prehistory, that human beings have preyed on each other.

00:44:31.520 That's nothing new.

00:44:32.800 Human beings have preyed on children. 0.97

00:44:34.560 That's nothing new.

00:44:35.380 But what the big difference between being able to access children online is it gives

00:44:43.580 all of these new opportunities and windows, and it gives a certain degree of cover.

00:44:47.680 Some weirdos hanging around the playground, you see them, you take care of them.

00:44:50.980 If it's online, it becomes something that's concealed.

00:44:54.840 With AI, as you had mentioned, it is a continuation of this.

00:45:00.280 But instead of having specific human beings that you can look at, this person is a predator.

00:45:05.300 This person is trying to harm a child.

00:45:07.600 You now have the potential for autonomous bots that clearly a solid number of children

00:45:15.920 are easily enticed into interacting with.

00:45:19.100 And now it's autonomous.

00:45:20.260 They don't sleep.

00:45:22.060 They have the ability to read through the conversation, so to speak, that the child has had with the

00:45:28.440 bot, and to understand the child in a way that a human predator would.

00:45:33.880 And maybe, again, it's not as if open AI coded predatory behavior into it.

00:45:39.820 That's the real problem.

00:45:41.120 They can't keep it under control.

00:45:43.400 Artificial intelligence is a non-deterministic system.

00:45:47.420 It isn't easily controlled.

00:45:49.500 And so the question then becomes, okay, do we just do nothing?

00:45:55.260 Because that seems to be the libertarian argument for sure.

00:45:59.840 But even the preemption argument, it says, well, we need federal standards.

00:46:03.440 We need a federal framework to take care of this.

00:46:05.720 Well, with COSA, we see after three years, there's nothing.

00:46:08.540 They're still arguing over whether it's a free speech issue, whether it should be a policy and

00:46:13.860 procedures issue, so on and so forth.

00:46:15.680 But doing nothing is not even remotely close to due diligence.

00:46:21.440 And it is ultimately up to each parent.

00:46:24.320 It's, in some sense, up to children to be wise, to be streetwise.

00:46:29.460 But if you went to a town that was completely laissez-faire and anything goes and there's

00:46:35.120 literally no authority who can step in and say, okay, no, this is predation.

00:46:39.400 It has to stop.

00:46:40.600 Well, I mean, then you end up in some kind of crazy, like, Bangkok seedy neighborhood, right?

00:46:45.500 Nobody wants that in America.

00:46:47.580 And so something has to be done, either at the state or the federal level.

00:46:50.580 And right now, it's happening at the state level.

00:46:53.320 And so I think the striking of the moratorium language in the NDAA, it is an absolute victory

00:47:02.240 for anyone who's trying to shield children or adults from the worst effects of this.

00:47:07.700 But in the end, it's going to be a continual fight.

00:47:10.320 We might be at this for years.

00:47:12.380 And as far as the fight against the sort of transhumanist, post-humanist philosophy, well,

00:47:18.100 this is a lifelong fight.

00:47:20.040 But these victories show you that it's not a fruitless fight.

00:47:23.340 It's not a fight in vain.

00:47:25.100 People can and will win.

00:47:27.220 And I have full faith, as I oftentimes say, Steve, that enough of us will make it.

00:47:31.960 No, I think it's pretty evident now because the House, these guys are not leaders.

00:47:38.540 They're followers.

00:47:39.300 There is such an overwhelming blowback on this happening again within 60 days.

00:47:45.460 Today, Scalise said, and Roger said, hey, this is not the right vehicle.

00:47:49.060 Well, they knew it wasn't the right vehicle when they started it.

00:47:51.540 If they could have slid it in there, it would have been the right vehicle.

00:47:53.900 But because people blew back on it, it wasn't.

00:47:56.520 I think that was so, so powerful of this audience.

00:47:58.640 I want everybody still to go to Article 3 or go to Bill Blaster, get all the information.

00:48:03.600 You should still be lighting people up until the NDAA is absolutely voted on

00:48:08.560 and has nothing to do with AI amnesty.

00:48:12.740 I know you've got to bounce real quickly.

00:48:15.280 What was the vibe in the room?

00:48:16.860 Last night, I've got to tell you, that was very powerful what you did with those parents last night

00:48:21.700 with the photos of their children and the stories and the people from the Parents Association.

00:48:26.900 Cox, or Knox, who was so articulate about what she's fighting for.

00:48:32.940 What was the buzz in the room today?

00:48:36.180 You know, the House hearing is just a matter of arguing over the fine details.

00:48:42.600 The parents are there.

00:48:43.980 They're looking right at them.

00:48:45.220 As Kathy Castor, who's a Democrat and a lib to the nth degree, noted that the parents weren't invited to speak.

00:48:55.980 The parents weren't there testifying.

00:48:57.860 Instead, you had trade association types and others who, by and large, did not carry the same potency as a real-life story.

00:49:07.960 Again, I think that it just shows you that as they're floundering for years to determine,

00:49:14.380 well, what do you do about online platforms that are allowing for mass child trafficking and exploitation?

00:49:20.940 What do you do about AI bots that just overtly lure kids into self-destructive behavior?

00:49:28.480 Well, you argue about it.

00:49:30.140 Meanwhile, bereaved parents are watching in frustration, and parents whose children are still alive and parents who are extremely concerned about them can't look to the government for any assistance.

00:49:42.560 It's strictly up to them and their communities.

00:49:44.900 I think that it just shows that the real power is in the hands of the people who are making the choices.

00:49:53.360 And to the extent that any state apparatus is going to protect people, it should probably be decentralized.

00:50:00.160 It should probably be specific to the places and the people that are intended to be protected.

00:50:06.320 And so in places like Florida, in places like California, you're going to have very different approaches to this.

00:50:12.680 But at least there is the freedom, so to speak, to restrict these tech companies and hold them liable.

00:50:18.900 Now, as for the parents, though, Steve, last night, it was really, really rattling to look into their eyes and hear the stories,

00:50:26.880 but also see that frustration that they feel like they're pouring all this energy into this and nothing is being done for them by the federal government.

00:50:34.640 But I do believe that with the striking of the language in the NDAA, they also had a huge victory today.

00:50:41.500 Huge deal.

00:50:42.920 Joe, your social media, where do people go?

00:50:46.220 At J-O-E-B-O-T-X-Y-Z, all social media, and JoeBot.X-Y-Z.
