00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:07.000 Pray for our enemies,
00:00:09.000 because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:12.000 Here's one time I got a free shot
00:00:14.000 at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:17.000 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:19.000 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:20.000 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:22.000 but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:23.000 It's going to happen.
00:00:24.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:27.000 MAGA Media.
00:00:29.000 I wish in my soul,
00:00:31.000 I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.000 Ask yourself,
00:00:35.000 what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.000 If that answer is to save my country,
00:00:41.000 this country will be saved.
00:00:44.000 War Room.
00:00:45.000 Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.
00:00:54.000 Good evening.
00:00:55.000 Good evening.
00:00:56.000 Wednesday,
00:00:57.000 14th of January,
00:00:58.000 Anno Domini,
00:00:59.000 2026.
00:01:00.000 Hanwell here at the helm on Steve Bannon's War Room.
00:01:04.000 Coming up later on the show,
00:01:05.000 we're going to be talking to Jenny Holland,
00:01:07.000 who's got some fascinating and quite,
00:01:10.000 really quite encouraging news to do with Bible sales in the UK amongst Generation Z.
00:01:16.000 And she's also going to be telling us a little bit about her,
00:01:21.000 the success she's been having on having now reached 365 days straight praying the Holy Holy Rosary.
00:01:29.000 She'll be telling us about that.
00:01:31.000 Frank Walker will be telling us later on in the show about a new low in Germany,
00:01:37.000 the land of the Protestant Reformation of Martin Luther.
00:01:41.000 New low.
00:01:42.000 There they were on Christmas Eve celebrating on national television,
00:01:47.000 the birth of our Lord and Savior,
00:01:49.000 or what built magazine called Slime Jesus.
00:01:53.000 We'll be talking about that later on in the show.
00:01:55.000 First, however,
00:01:56.000 very much in the mission of our Wednesday War Room segments,
00:02:00.000 bringing you the truth of what's taking place in the institutional Catholic Church.
00:02:05.000 The truth that pretty much all other Catholic outlets are hiding from you, the faithful.
00:02:13.000 We're talking now about the big news in the Catholic Church over the last 10 days or so.
00:02:21.000 This is the consistory in the Vatican, the gathering of all the cardinals together,
00:02:28.000 something that Bergoglio Pope Francis, the late unlamented Pope, always sought to avoid doing.
00:02:36.000 He didn't like the cardinals, the princes of the church getting together.
00:02:40.000 He feared that, feared what they might be discussing, feared the potential of resistance to his running the church into the ground.
00:02:49.000 Well, Leo, who is very much Francis 2.0, we've been clear about that on the War Room from day one,
00:02:56.000 at least on this respect, feels slightly more secure in his own leadership that he's tolerating the cardinals getting together.
00:03:05.000 What is now emerging is what happened on those two days.
00:03:08.000 Frank Walker, founder, editor in chief of Canon 212, joins us as ever on Wednesday.
00:03:14.000 Frank, you have some of the news now that's been escaping over the last few days.
00:03:21.000 Some of it has been quite rebellious amongst the cardinals.
00:03:24.000 Other news has been slightly more expected from the usual quarters, from terms of the modernists and the heretics.
00:03:32.000 Tell us about Cardinal Roach, whom we call in the UK Cockroach.
00:03:38.000 He was in charge of the liturgy.
00:03:40.000 His was one of the four papers that was distributed to all the cardinals.
00:03:45.000 Tell me, are we seeing, Jenny's going to be talking to us later about this revival that seems to be taking place amongst Generation Z.
00:03:55.000 We've been hitting this every week on the show, especially amongst young people, young guys,
00:03:59.000 a massive uptick towards the traditional Latin Mass.
00:04:04.000 Is the institutional Catholic Church finally moving itself, orientating itself to receive the fruits of the Holy Spirit
00:04:14.000 and open the Mass, the Old Mass, the Latin Mass, to the new waves of youth that are crossing the threshold for the first time?
00:04:24.000 Or are they trying to stamp on the embers and stop it from taking light?
00:04:29.000 What was Cardinal Roach's intervention?
00:04:34.000 That was a good way to put it, stamp on the embers.
00:04:37.000 They're not part of the revival that Jenny's going to be talking about at all.
00:04:42.000 That's an organic thing.
00:04:43.000 That's something that's come from God himself, I think.
00:04:47.000 And, you know, with the dry wood that Jesus said we'd have in the late times, there's still hope.
00:04:55.000 But it's not coming through these men.
00:04:57.000 These men are continuing to drag up what has been their foundation for the last 60 years, Vatican II.
00:05:06.000 Now, this cardinal consistory is a chance for very important men to gather together, talk to each other, talk to the Pope, contribute.
00:05:14.000 But that's not what they had there.
00:05:17.000 And that's why Leo has brought back the consistory, because he has a model of structure that I would call very Nazi.
00:05:23.000 It stomps down on any dissent whatsoever.
00:05:27.000 They said that they were going to discuss the liturgy, and the Trad Inc. were so excited about that.
00:05:32.000 But that didn't happen at all.
00:05:34.000 Cardinal Gretsch, who I call the synod boss, came to this synod consistory talking about synods and how they don't take away from the authority of the Pope, but they need to bring a consensus to him.
00:05:48.000 So what happens when you have a bunch of people that disagree?
00:05:51.000 It becomes a consensus in the synod.
00:05:53.000 And that consensus, when you bring it to the Pope, and the Pope says okay to it, it becomes doctrine.
00:06:00.000 It becomes method of the church.
00:06:02.000 So it's a way to take things that are bad and make them look good.
00:06:06.000 He gave a talk, and then they had Kissy, I call it Kissy Fernandez.
00:06:11.000 Cardinal Fernandez, the doctrine chief, who's a notorious pervert with soft porn writings going back for decades.
00:06:19.000 He came and he talked to them, too, and told them about how make sure you're open to new methods and things.
00:06:25.000 Don't let the old methods exist.
00:06:28.000 And make sure you examine your sermons that you don't try, you know, hammer too hard on doctrine.
00:06:33.000 Don't give doctrine to him.
00:06:34.000 So this was another speech that opened up the synod.
00:06:37.000 And then, like you mentioned, Cardinal Roach gave the most powerful element.
00:06:41.000 But they had voted down discussion of the liturgy like they had hoped for.
00:06:46.000 And Cardinal Roach did not even speak.
00:06:48.000 He gave a pamphlet.
00:06:49.000 He gave something that was written.
00:06:52.000 So not only did they suppress liturgy altogether, but they didn't even have a talk on it.
00:06:57.000 Because all it was was a reaffirmation of Francis's destruction of the ancient mass, which is the only really fruitful mass, the only thing that grows.
00:07:10.000 The Novus Ordo mass that we've had since my whole lifetime, that has only led to destruction.
00:07:15.000 It's led to people like going the other way.
00:07:18.000 And so what Cardinal Roach has said, well, we've always changed liturgies.
00:07:22.000 And Vatican II has mandated this Novus Ordo, which is a complete lie, they say all the time.
00:07:27.000 But the liturgy always being changed, that's not true either.
00:07:31.000 The ancient Latin mass goes back to before we can even tell, before we even know.
00:07:37.000 And, you know, there are all sorts of diversity in liturgies that are possible, but they need to be Catholic.
00:07:43.000 And they're saying that their new mass and the other mass together don't have unity.
00:07:49.000 And unity, like Leo has always gone about, is essential.
00:07:52.000 But they don't mean unity in Catholicism and in faith.
00:07:57.000 They mean unity in what they're trying to accomplish.
00:08:00.000 This new mass, this new church.
00:08:04.000 And it really reveals what they're really all about.
00:08:07.000 You know, the Latin mass is really about a different religion.
00:08:11.000 And Leo and his henchmen here are revealing that they think it's a different religion.
00:08:17.000 And we can't have unity with two different religions.
00:08:20.000 That's the essence of the Sinai.
00:08:23.000 It was really a squashing of any descent from their program.
00:08:28.000 I think the canon, the Roman canon, the canon of the mass goes back to like the third or the fourth century, pretty much untouched until the two priests rewrote it in a Roman restaurant in Trasteville overnight.
00:08:47.000 They keep saying that it's Vatican II, but you're right, it was done discreetly, sort of behind the scenes after Vatican II.
00:08:53.000 It's really not recommended in Vatican II at all.
00:08:56.000 I noticed that Cardinal Cockroach quoted Pope Benedict in his pamphlet.
00:09:09.000 He didn't quote, I searched for Frank Walker.
00:09:13.000 I didn't find the part where the Holy Cardinal quotes Ratzinger as calling the Novus Audemars a banal on the spot product.
00:09:25.000 That part was missing from Roach's summary.
00:09:32.000 Tell me about if, tell me before we go to a quick break about Cardinal Zen's intervention when he calls synodality an ironclad manipulation and an insult to bishops.
00:09:51.000 I hear that was a rather, no, it was to be expected, but the degree with which he spoke, I think was, wasn't exactly foreseen before the consistory.
00:10:03.000 And, you know, we have to give full credit to him.
00:10:06.000 This is, you see, people think that holiness and humility means being cowardly in the face of injustice.
00:10:18.000 Of course, it doesn't mean that. And I think Cardinal, anyone who's met Cardinal Zen, I've met him.
00:10:22.000 I don't know, Steve Bannon's obviously met him several times when he was in the White House, says he's one of the most holiest men he's ever met.
00:10:30.000 And I can second that very humble guy in demeanor, not sort of this fake humility that you often see in a lot of ambitious prelates and the genuine humility, which you can see, you can feel.
00:10:43.000 Very quiet guy, understated guy. He came out and I think gave the toughest speech.
00:10:48.000 Just give me two minutes, if you wouldn't mind, on that and the potential consequences of what Cardinal Zen, who's been, who was a real hero for Catholics and all Christians when he was the Cardinal Bishop of Hong Kong in the face of the Chinese Communist Party.
00:11:09.000 He's a very great guy. Holy man. Tell us, give us two minutes, Frank, if you wouldn't mind, on his criticisms of the consistory agenda.
00:11:20.000 Well, I do remember how he did say that it's a manipulation, and that's exactly what it is. It's a control.
00:11:27.000 And I was surprised that he was able to get out there with that speech in only three minutes.
00:11:34.000 Most of this information that we're talking to today hadn't even been released yet, but his piece was out.
00:11:39.000 And he also questioned, who are the people of God?
00:11:43.000 And do these people that are in this event think that they're the people of God?
00:11:48.000 And he also let everybody know that this was a synodal experience.
00:11:53.000 This is not, you know, this is supposed to be a consistory where people, adults, talk to each other freely.
00:11:58.000 But no, it was a crushing.
00:12:00.000 So everybody, I think, was thrilled.
00:12:03.000 The thing that amazes me is that he's 93 years old.
00:12:07.000 I mean, 93 years old is awful old to travel all the way here and give this brave speech.
00:12:12.000 And he did meet with Leo, I think, as well.
00:12:17.000 There's nothing been released about it.
00:12:18.000 But he met with Leo.
00:12:19.000 He traveled.
00:12:20.000 He met with Leo.
00:12:21.000 And I can sort of understand that because he has been, I mean, he has watched Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Church turn into the Chinese Communist Church with the help of Francis and now Leo.
00:12:31.000 And he's under the gun.
00:12:33.000 He's prosecuted.
00:12:34.000 The people that he has worked together with are jailed.
00:12:37.000 And, you know, he's facing this prosecution, too.
00:12:40.000 And so he has a lot to risk, even at his age, by making these kinds of statements, by coming here and making waves like this.
00:12:49.000 And you're right.
00:12:50.000 It's exactly an example of what true Catholicism, true Christian faith is all about.
00:12:56.000 You know, and I was so happy that at this night, which is really just a closed door session where no truth is permitted whatsoever, somebody, some little bit of flame of the faith still remained.
00:13:09.000 And that should be inspiration to all Catholics all over the place, because what they have here is just a closing, dying process of masses and churches that are all dying.
00:13:18.000 And they keep bringing back the hammer over Vatican II again and again.
00:13:22.000 Father McTeague has been on the war room.
00:13:24.000 He was practically enraged this week, talking about how they keep coming back to Vatican II again, pushing it again.
00:13:31.000 It's just the same old like rhinos, the same old failed policies that have been forced on the church.
00:13:37.000 And we have a little bit of Cardinal Zen with Catholicism because it keeps popping up through the cracks again, as you can see, you're going to see later in the show with the people in there are more Catholic than Protestant in the United States.
00:13:50.000 The young people and people that are praying rosaries, even the, you know, the top pundits, conservative pundits in the world are holding up rosaries and getting slammed for it here and there.
00:14:01.000 We're digging down on that in a few moments.
00:14:08.000 And I would like to spend, I would actually like to spend the rest of the show, Frank, talking with you about how the 68 generation in the Catholic church that hijacked the church some 60 or so years ago has been running it into the ground.
00:14:23.000 And, um, it's still clinging on with his deathly clammy fingertips on, um, I'd like to, we don't have time.
00:14:30.780 The one thing I do want to quickly ask you though, before we, and we must go over to Jenny.
00:14:35.160 The one thing I want to ask you, cause you mentioned this earlier, uh, and it's so right.
00:14:39.860 Trad Inc.
00:14:40.860 Our old friends, our old, our old grifting friends, you know, don't, don't forget to donate.
00:14:45.200 Um, they were pitching Frank Walker.
00:14:50.240 They were trying to ink was pitching like crazy that just be patient.
00:14:55.180 Don't criticize our Holy Pope properly.
00:14:57.280 Don't criticize him guys show some Catholic formation.
00:15:00.460 Um, because at this consistory, he's clearly called this to liberalize, to re-liberalize the, the illegitimately suppressed old mass.
00:15:09.260 So don't box him into a corner.
00:15:10.740 Just give him the space, give him the time.
00:15:12.320 That wasn't a hoax, Frank Walker, that you were pushing out on Canon 212.
00:15:17.320 Wasn't a hoax that we were pushing out here on War Room.
00:15:20.160 Chris Jackson wasn't pushing out that hoax on Substack.
00:15:23.780 Trad Inc.
00:15:24.500 Don't forget to vote.
00:15:25.460 Don't, don't forget to, to donate folks.
00:15:27.400 Trad Inc.
00:15:28.100 Was definitely pushing that hoax out.
00:15:30.480 Just give me 30 seconds on your takeaway of the fact that we called this, right.
00:15:36.760 We've, we've said clearly, as clearly as we could possibly be what to expect from this pontificate and not to expect, certainly not in January.
00:15:45.480 I happen to think he is going to do something, you know, merely because he just wants to dampen down the opposition so he can obliterate traditionalism outright.
00:15:55.160 Bergoglio was so out of control.
00:15:58.360 He actually did wonders for the traditionalist movement.
00:16:01.640 I think Leo saw that.
00:16:03.200 He's a son of the revolution, of the Bergoglian revolution.
00:16:05.800 He wants to take this revolution further.
00:16:07.440 Just tell him, give me 30 seconds on what you saw taking place at this consistory.
00:16:13.760 Um, and that Trad Inc.
00:16:17.180 Got it wrong yet again.
00:16:19.640 Well, the Latin mass, they were telling us that Leo was going to liberalize the Latin mass and be softer on it.
00:16:26.140 But all they've done here in Cardinal Roach's intervention, which was only written down, is reassert Francis's hatred of the mass, that you can't go back, that Vatican II mandates it.
00:16:37.520 And if you don't like this, you don't believe in the council, which Trad Inc.
00:16:40.540 will not admit that they don't believe in the council.
00:16:42.720 And, uh, it, it's, it's, it's absolutely full speed ahead, a hundred percent, the old, um, push of Francis.
00:16:50.460 And there's no change to, to it whatsoever.
00:16:52.960 And I think, I don't know if Trad Inc. is going to be beating this horn anymore.
00:16:55.820 I think it's fine beating this anymore.
00:16:57.740 It's, I think it's, um, they're going to turn the corner and they're going to look at other things now.
00:17:02.680 They're, they're going to have to soften on the mass, not expect too much, because you can see right here that all they're going to do is keep doing what they've done.
00:17:10.480 And there's other areas where Leo is going to give them, they, it's not like they want any success.
00:17:16.020 They just want something they can hang their hat on and pretend it's success.
00:17:19.060 So that's what they, that's what they're going to get from Leo.
00:17:21.260 You're right.
00:17:21.640 He is making some concessions and they're turning the corner on this.
00:17:25.420 You're not going to be up and down about the old mass anymore for a while.
00:17:28.920 Well, we're, we're, we're keeping our, um, our beady cynical eyes on this guy.
00:17:34.780 Um, folks, don't worry about that.
00:17:36.780 Um, let, okay.
00:17:37.660 Give me, give me a moment, Frank.
00:17:39.180 We're going to come back to you later on in the show.
00:17:40.640 Just a quick shout out to one of our sponsors, Birch Gold.
00:17:44.820 Let me be blunt.
00:17:45.780 Gold is up 40% this year.
00:17:48.020 That's not speculation.
00:17:49.420 That's reality.
00:17:50.280 And if a portion of your savings isn't diversified into gold, you're missing the boat.
00:17:55.980 Here are the facts.
00:17:57.260 Inflation is still too high.
00:17:59.660 The U S dollar is still too weak and the government debt is insurmountable.
00:18:04.220 That's why central banks are flocking to gold.
00:18:06.940 And they're the ones driving these prices up to record highs, but it's not too late to buy
00:18:11.920 gold from Birch Gold group and get in the door.
00:18:15.060 Now Birch Gold will help you convert an existing IRA or 401k.

00:18:46.820 That's Birch Gold or one word, birchgold.com forward slash Bannon.
00:18:53.040 Okay.
00:18:53.720 Jenny, you've got a couple of stories that we're going to mention.
00:18:57.040 I think we might need to run over the break with this because you have two very important
00:19:02.120 things, which really do illustrate.
00:19:05.120 I think the revival that is taking place in the West, tell us about the Bible sales in
00:19:13.160 the UK first, and then we'll talk about Generation Z outnumbering Protestants in the US.
00:19:20.180 Tell us about the Bibles.
00:19:21.360 Yeah, Bible sales in the UK are hugely up last year.
00:19:28.740 60, sorry, 6.3 million Bibles were sold in 2025.
00:19:35.600 That is up 134% since 2019.
00:19:39.420 The religious segment of nonfiction publishing was also up by quite a bit in one year, 11%
00:19:48.040 in 2025 compared to 6% in 2024.
00:19:53.620 Gen Z, again, are leading the way.
00:19:56.460 They are far more likely, or sorry, far less likely to identify as atheist than their parents.
00:20:04.040 And I think this is really the key that unlocks this entire phenomenon.
00:20:10.080 Gen Z are, and we'll see again in other stories we're going to cover, are in a very visible
00:20:17.000 way rejecting the crass materialism, extreme promiscuity, excessive internet culture of our
00:20:30.440 time.
00:20:31.060 They are moving away from it.
00:20:32.640 Obviously, not all of them, but there's a very influential segment that is doing just
00:20:39.300 that, that is saying enough with the sins of the world, and they're turning to church.
00:20:46.800 This is really, this is just a very interesting phenomenon, and it corresponds somewhat with
00:20:52.020 what I see among young men, not necessarily that they're religious, but they are more socially
00:20:58.160 conservative, which is a good start.
00:21:00.560 And yeah, the piece also mentions that last year there was a study done by the charity
00:21:06.620 Tear Fund that replicated the same, or that found the same results, that in particular
00:21:13.400 that at Christmastime, something like 60% of young people were planning on attending church
00:21:20.160 to honor the birth of Jesus.
00:21:22.040 So again, this just fits in a lot of what we say every week.
00:21:26.320 I'm always here to bear the good news.
00:21:28.020 I'm delighted that I get to do that.
00:21:30.380 They mentioned Charlie Kirk as well, and the assassination of Charlie Kirk as being a defining
00:21:37.260 factor in the sort of how young people perceive the world.
00:21:41.880 He said they said that sales of Bibles were up 34% in September 2025 following his death
00:21:50.260 than they were in September 2024.
00:21:55.000 So again, Charlie Kirk and his martyrdom, as you rightly call it, the secularity of the
00:22:00.640 world, the sort of difficult, not to say disastrous, financial realities that Gen Z are facing as well
00:22:07.940 are all named as factors turning young people towards God.
00:22:16.180 So first takeaways on this, and this is what we predicted right at the time, you know,
00:22:22.460 as the world was watching open mouth at the martyrdom and the fallout of the martyrdom,
00:22:28.080 the public martyrdom of Charlie Kirk.
00:22:30.160 And we said that there was going to be a revival in the United States following that brutal act.
00:22:36.520 And these are the figures now.
00:22:40.120 These are absolutely the figures that you just cited that have just become available now.
00:22:44.020 In that September, there was a year-on-year increase of 36%, which is a huge number.
00:22:49.920 Tell me if you wouldn't mind, Jenny, as a parent yourself, what do you think the dynamic is?
00:22:56.040 You said a little bit about the rejection of the godless materialism of what I guess is our generation, right?
00:23:02.480 Generation X, and thereabouts.
00:23:07.140 Tell us something a bit more.
00:23:10.400 It's, this is, I'll tell you how I see this.
00:23:13.620 You tell me if I've got it right.
00:23:14.580 I see this as the standard youthful, the standard youth generation rebellion against the parents and their values fundamentally.
00:23:29.280 You know, and whereas, say, generation X, our generation, rebelled against our parents, notionally Christian, but zero fruits style of, you know, cultural, social affiliation to Christianity.
00:23:49.320 You know, we saw that, we saw that it was all basically a hoax, our generation, and we rejected that, you know, because basically who wants to rule, who wants to have their lives ruled by something whose adherents clearly don't believe it to be true.
00:24:08.200 And yet, our generation's children have seen the godless materialism that we've been following, perhaps more coherently than our parents.
00:24:23.120 But fundamentally, it's, it's valueless, um, and meaningless, uh, and the next generation doing that youthful rebellion is rebelling against that.
00:24:34.340 And, you know, and what they're doing is they're, they're finding Christ, which is superb.
00:24:40.000 Um, give me your take on that as a parent.
00:24:42.960 Have I got that right?
00:24:43.640 I, I, I think you have.
00:24:45.660 I think they, uh, that it's because young people, people in their late teens and young adulthood have far more direct and early experience of the downside of the godless materialism that you mentioned.
00:25:00.920 Um, it, I mean, obviously you and I grew up in a, in a very kind of prosperous, comfortable, physically comfortable world.
00:25:08.860 But these kids have seen the downside of it and how hollow, um, excessive materialism is in a way they didn't because the options to them were so apparently endless and they understood how empty that actually made them feel.
00:25:26.080 And they sought out a replacement that was more enduring, um, and that wasn't made of digital material, um, and, uh, you know, attention economy.
00:25:37.700 It was made of something more robust and accessible directly from your heart and mind.
00:25:45.120 Um, I mean, people, young people today have grown up with, you know, in, in wealthy countries have grown up with incredibly high standards of living physically and materially, but incredibly low standards of living intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
00:26:01.740 Um, and, you know, I always think that there is this natural antenna that if, if, uh, sort of dusted off, will find its way to God, because that has been my experience.
00:26:14.320 Um, so it doesn't really surprise me that young people are doing this.
00:26:17.760 The other thing that is driving them is the, uh, horrors of woke.
00:26:21.760 Um, and it's, you know, you and I, you know, we, we, we laugh at it and we, we condemn it and we see how crazy it is.
00:26:28.300 But these young people were brought up, browbeaten by woke ideology, um, and punished for, um, if, if, if they couldn't, if they didn't abide by every single ridiculous false tenant of it.
00:26:42.460 Um, and that's, but another factor.
00:26:45.500 Jenny, stand by.
00:26:46.840 We're going to come back to you just after the break, continue on the theme, talking about the, the, the predominance now, always with Generation Z of Catholicism rather than Protestantism in the United States.
00:27:00.940 There's a lot of politicians that should be getting coal in their stockings for Christmas, but Birch Gold thinks as a smart planner, you deserve silver.

00:27:50.860 Let me repeat that.

00:29:55.580 Here's why now is the time to make a move.
00:29:58.400 This time of year, credit card and loan companies close out their books.
00:30:02.160 They clean up past due accounts.
00:30:04.480 They sell or write off the debt to clear their books.
00:30:08.620 That means if you have credit card debt and unpaid bills, lenders may be more open to negotiating and settling your account before you're in.
00:30:17.000 That means right now, and I mean right now, you may actually have leverage.

00:31:42.040 Welcome back.
00:31:43.020 Continuing with the theme of what we were just talking about before the break,
00:31:47.120 this is something is definitely taking place.
00:31:49.000 A revival is definitely taking place amongst Generation Z.
00:31:53.000 I just want to cite, Jenny, a statistic on the Bible Cellules article,
00:32:00.260 which I think was pretty impressive.
00:32:03.840 This is, I'm citing here, the Daily Mail.
00:32:05.960 And they're saying that 21% of young men, this is age 20, 18 to 24,
00:32:14.560 were regular churchgoers versus only 12% of women.
00:32:20.240 And that's nearly double.
00:32:21.240 This is something that we have been mentioning on The War Room.
00:32:24.260 I think every Wednesday when we do this show, there is something going on with young guys in this cohort,
00:32:29.720 this age cohort, a revival that is taking place there.
00:32:32.700 And if you look, if you're looking to see it, you will see those signs everywhere.
00:32:39.060 Jenny, tell me about what's going on in Generation Z in the United States.
00:32:44.420 Now, I hear that there's a development, a slight uptick, or I should say, basically,
00:32:49.980 it seems to me that the Catholics are holding steady, whereas the mainline Protestants have actually declined,
00:32:55.280 leading to something that has never taken place before in the United States.
00:33:00.060 Tell us more.
00:33:01.820 That's right.
00:33:02.400 In the nation that was famously founded by some Protestant refugees from the United Kingdom,
00:33:11.260 among 18 to 24-year-olds, Gen Zs now outnumber, Catholic Gen Zs outnumber Protestant Gen Zs.
00:33:19.240 And the numbers aren't huge.
00:33:21.420 19% of Gen Zs identifies Protestant, and 21% identifies Catholic.
00:33:31.000 So the numbers aren't vast.
00:33:33.200 But as the article is a pain to state, and I agree with, it is a historic and unprecedented shift
00:33:39.440 because of America, the United States' longstanding association with sort of Anglican, sort of mainline Protestant belief.
00:33:51.980 And Catholics really only started to play a role in the country in the 19th century with the arrival of immigrants from Europe,
00:33:58.940 and then later with many from Latin America.
00:34:01.940 But it was always seen as very much the sort of secondary and sometimes the sort of weird and, you know,
00:34:08.360 don't-go-there religion among certainly elites.
00:34:14.460 So, so interesting, and again, not surprising.
00:34:19.060 The article sort of is quite polite and attributes this phenomenon to what they call fragmentation.
00:34:26.700 And, you know, maybe they're referring to the many different denominations and sort of proliferation of churches in Protestantism,
00:34:35.820 but also internal polarization.
00:34:39.060 And, you know, I could be wrong, but I'm reading that as meaning that the Protestant churches, many of them, the big ones, went woke and got broke.
00:34:49.880 I think now, you sort of, you know, everyone from sort of Unitarians, I think even the Presbyterians,
00:34:57.860 I mean, a lot of these big established churches are now forever indelibly associated with drag queens in church surfaces
00:35:06.260 and pride flags hanging from altars.
00:35:09.140 St. John the Divine in, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, has the pride progress flag,
00:35:15.140 which includes all the different sort of trans and queer identities.
00:35:18.880 That's a stain that cannot be washed away.
00:35:22.940 That's such a crisis.
00:35:24.680 It's such a spiritual failing on their part.
00:35:29.280 They can't recover from that.
00:35:30.940 Sorry, the Catholics, on the other hand, while it's obviously full of their own problems, institutionally speaking,
00:35:37.580 the Catholic, the perception of Catholicism and the practice of Catholicism, as we always say here, is the laity.
00:35:44.780 The practice has remained stable and family-based.
00:35:48.880 You're absolutely right.
00:35:52.340 The correct theological term for what you're describing there about the woke and the drag queens is scandal, right?
00:36:04.100 It is putting an obstacle to belief in people's way.
00:36:11.240 That's what that is.
00:36:12.120 It is an obstacle to belief.
00:36:15.020 I can't close this segment, Jenny Holland, without coming back to your heckle at the beginning of this.
00:36:23.100 The Brits who left our glorious septuadile isle to go over to America weren't refugees.
00:36:34.840 They were pilgrims, okay?
00:36:38.340 Terminology is important.
00:36:40.160 Jenny, we'll be back later with you in the show to talk about your spiritual progress.
00:36:47.480 As we say constantly, you are the—I won't say you're the only atheist I know who prays the rosary every day.
00:36:55.480 You're probably the only person I know who prays the rosary every day.
00:37:00.000 You'll be telling us more about the spiritual fruits that you've got on the back of that.
00:37:03.300 I don't know if you mentioned it, but I just want to repeat the thing again from the study, the 2023 Cooperative Election Study, the CES study, which has become available now, in fact.
00:37:16.180 That is 21% of Generation Z adults identify as Catholic compared with 19% who describe themselves as positive.
00:37:25.780 Those are the figures.
00:37:26.740 And I think it's basically the Catholics are sort of declining.
00:37:32.620 In fact, they had a very slight uptick, by the way, actually, but it's basically holding steady and the 99 Protestants are peeling away.
00:37:40.600 Let's go over to Germany now.
00:37:43.640 Frank Walker, it's funny, isn't it?
00:37:47.160 Talking about spiritual momentum, the land of the Protestant Reformation and Lutheranism.
00:37:54.140 What the sacrilege that was performed on Christmas Eve in Germany.
00:38:02.520 Before you tell us more, we actually have some footage on this.
00:38:06.980 I think the guys in Denver have that.
00:38:09.480 If you wouldn't mind just playing that now and then you'll tell us exactly the background, Frank.
00:38:15.800 Our Krippe here is the work of a young artist, that she actually created for this service service.
00:38:24.180 The Krippe shows a real person.
00:38:28.440 He lies there, naked, naked and loose, as it already says a church song.
00:38:35.520 The man here is surrounded by the fact that he is sad and hurtful and we want to keep his pride and intimacy.
00:38:44.180 You know, I'm going to quote Bill on this.
00:38:50.680 I'm going to quote the German magazine on this.
00:38:54.480 They said that this was ARD, which is the German network, showing Christmas mass with slime Jesus.
00:39:03.900 They said it looked more like a breathing alien and condemned the spectacle as sick and twisted.
00:39:13.220 I could barely look at it.
00:39:15.140 There's nothing wrong with a mother giving birth to a child that's still in, you know, still in the placenta.
00:39:23.960 It's an act.
00:39:24.440 It's a creative act of God.
00:39:25.540 In fact, procreation is the act of humankind creating along with God.
00:39:32.620 However, there is a question, Frank Walker, of appropriateness.
00:39:37.260 And one has to ask, what were the Germans thinking about here in Stuttgart?
00:39:43.500 But because this doesn't foster, I think, reverence on Christmas Eve.
00:39:51.900 It doesn't foster thoughts towards what's this great gratuitous gift that God, Father Almighty, has given to mankind in his son.
00:40:03.720 He himself, the divine being coming down.
00:40:06.920 Um, it's, it is, I think Bill's got it right.
00:40:10.360 It's sick and twisted.
00:40:12.320 What was your take on this?
00:40:14.700 Well, it doesn't give you the Christmas spirit, does it, to see that at all?
00:40:18.780 It looks like a blob of flesh to me.
00:40:22.000 Um, they, they weren't clear really on what it's supposed to be.
00:40:25.180 They said that, uh, there's an, there's an actress in there, um, deep breathing.
00:40:30.760 I don't think babies in the placenta breathe.
00:40:33.180 I think that's what they're, they're assuming that's what it is, because it's, because it's supposed to be a baby, that it's a baby inside, not the placenta, but inside the amniotic sac.
00:40:42.200 Well, babies aren't born that way anyway.
00:40:44.700 Um, the, uh, the, the outrage from the community is right.
00:40:49.080 And this was at a Catholic, um, broadcasting network at their Christmas service.
00:40:55.000 And they said that they even sort of abridged the Christmas service so that they can have this.
00:40:59.200 And the priest who, who is responsible for this, he defended it.
00:41:03.920 And he said, he said, it showed a human being lying there, miserable, naked, and exposed.
00:41:08.420 You know, you know, it's like in, in Germany, they seem to have all of these horrible, offensive things and they blame it on art.
00:41:15.980 And the way you know that it's art is they say something like that, you know, um, they, uh, the, the, the, he said, this is how radically God becomes human, close, touchable, without distance and real.
00:41:27.580 That's what they said about it.
00:41:29.700 And the, uh, even they had to have representatives, even from the, um, the Christian Democrats, the, the rhinos of Germany said that it was disgusting.
00:41:37.580 Uh, uh, people that, that, um, responded in, uh, in, in, uh, to it directly, the regular watchers, they called it woke.
00:41:44.200 I don't know what's supposedly, supposedly woke about it.
00:41:47.060 You know, it really is to me, it's more satanic actually than woke.
00:41:52.140 Let me put it this way.
00:41:53.200 Let me put it this way.
00:41:54.180 Even giving the Stuttgart diocese the benefit of the doubt here, right?
00:42:00.320 It would seem that they're lacking prudence and counsel.
00:42:04.880 Counsel being one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, prudence being one of the cardinal virtues, right?
00:42:10.220 The very best, they seem to be lacking those two particular graces.
00:42:15.780 And what does that tell you about the, the hierarchy, the German hierarchy that lack, that is a manifestly lacking both prudence and counsel?
00:42:25.920 Now, I think it was absolutely astonishing, Frank, uh, really astonishing, not surprising, but this just shows you how the decline, uh, takes place.
00:42:35.040 It's when people, when our, when our pastors, our bishops, our shepherds are lacking in supernatural faith, if you're lacking in supernatural faith, you're going to be lacking in the supernatural graces as well, right?
00:42:48.040 The bishop defended it too, and they're not going to do anything about it either.
00:42:51.700 So, you know, it isn't just a German hierarchy.
00:42:54.180 I don't understand what it is about Germany, but we're all supposed to tolerate this stuff from them.
00:42:58.000 This should be handled from a Leo on down.
00:43:01.300 This is a mockery.
00:43:02.400 That's what this is.
00:43:03.120 And there's not any more effective method of, of, of, um, moving people than mockery.
00:43:09.300 It's very effective.
00:43:10.220 And it shows you that the priest and the bishop and the entire church approves of this.
00:43:17.100 I think this is a, this is what Satanism is.
00:43:19.980 It's making mockery of God and the things of God and who God is.
00:43:24.280 And the fact that they defend this at all and it's permitted shows you what we need to remember every day, who they really are.
00:43:31.760 Just like Cardinal Kissy Fernandez talking to all the cardinals about how they should re-evaluate their sermons to make sure there's not too much doctrine in them.
00:43:39.180 They're all the same guy.
00:43:40.400 They mock, they mock Christ.
00:43:42.500 They hate Christ.
00:43:43.780 They're just revealing themselves in this here.
00:43:46.680 It is.
00:43:47.380 It is.
00:43:47.940 Yeah.
00:43:48.060 Um, that, that, that's, that is, that is exactly, exactly what they're doing.
00:43:51.280 Frank, stand by.
00:43:52.240 Um, I, I desperately want to get to Jenny now to, to, to discuss her spiritual journey.
00:43:57.620 Before we do that, I just, I give a shout out in the first half of the show.
00:44:01.180 I'm going to quickly do so again to, uh, Birch Gold.
00:44:04.320 Um, as I said before, from now until January the 30th, folks, so you've got a two week runway left.
00:44:12.040 When you complete your purchase with Birch Gold, they will send you a free copy of the exclusive Patriots edition, End of the Dollar Empire, which is the limited edition book.
00:44:22.980 And they're going to do that.
00:44:24.040 They'll send that to you for free.
00:44:25.280 Go to birchgold.com forward stroke Bannon now to claim your eligibility.
00:44:32.060 That's birchgold.com forward stroke Bannon.
00:44:35.300 Now, Jenny Holland, um, since you first came on the show, uh, when we started doing the Wednesday format, um, you said that you are an atheist.
00:44:46.960 Um, I don't know.
00:44:48.100 I think you might be moving towards agnosticism.
00:44:50.060 I'm not quite sure.
00:44:50.960 Uh, but you said that in your words, an atheist who prays the rosary every day.
00:44:55.620 What I didn't realize, Jenny Holland, um, was literally, that was a proper regimen of praying the rosary every day.
00:45:03.900 Um, and compliment, you know, complimenting to you.
00:45:07.980 Tell us a little bit then, uh, and you've written this in Substack.
00:45:12.140 Folks, I very strongly, I read it, very powerful witness, actually.
00:45:16.700 Go to, to Jenny's, um, Substack, where, where she says, uh, the consequence of how she came about it.
00:45:24.560 We, we only got like five minutes here.
00:45:27.280 Um, but there are a couple of things, the takeaways in your Substack, seeing as you did this.
00:45:33.600 Um, and I, you know, I was praying the rosary every day at the time of my conversion some 20, 25 years ago.
00:45:39.520 Um, and it's a discipline I sadly lost, but I, I remember the spiritual graces from that time.
00:45:45.400 Um, I think some of the important takeaways here in your article, um, is that how you set about doing it?
00:45:52.700 Because you said that you didn't set out at the beginning to achieve a year-long stretch.
00:45:59.260 Basically, you did it for a day, that sort of rolled into a week, and you saw how that went, that rolled into a month.
00:46:04.900 Still without intending to do it for the whole year, um, but marking it away on your, on your little app.
00:46:10.040 Um, and then the sort of the habit, the discipline became the habit, um, and you, you stuck with it.
00:46:18.560 Uh, tell us a bit about that then, please.
00:46:22.220 Yeah, so Sunday was the 365th consecutive day that I prayed the rosary.
00:46:26.920 Um, and actually, this is the perfect place to discuss it because, as I say in my article, the seed of my rosary habit was planted on Steve Bannon's war room, uh, right here on this very show quite a few years ago.
00:46:43.180 I want to say maybe 2021 or 2022, when he did a whole extended segment on the power of prayer.
00:46:49.580 And I was very sort of taken aback by this because I love Steve's show for his sort of, it's a biting analysis and his rail politique and his very sort of like of the world, um, motivation, um, and insight.
00:47:04.260 And hearing him and others, his guests talk about prayer as a real world thing that actually made material difference, um, in the world, communal prayers, sending up the prayers and specifically mentioning the rosary.
00:47:19.200 Um, he also had a rabbi on, I mean, it was really interesting show, but specifically mentioning the rosary, it just opened a door of possibility in my mind.
00:47:25.760 Um, it took a few years to fully germinate, um, but as I started intermittently praying in 2024, um, yeah, just this time last year, I just started doing it every day without any specific goal in mind.
00:47:40.580 Um, and it became something that I looked forward to.
00:47:45.340 It became something that I sort of relied upon.
00:47:48.240 Um, I found that it made my mood better.
00:47:50.280 If I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, um, I would pray the rosary and I would be a lot more cheerful.
00:47:54.860 And, and, and, and gracious to my husband and to people around me.
00:47:59.720 Um, I found that, um, yeah, it just, it just produced a peacefulness and a stability within me that became stronger and stronger as the year wore on.
00:48:14.520 Um, Jenny.
00:48:16.920 Yeah, I mean, that, that, that was, that's my experience as well.
00:48:20.300 Um, you also say something here.
00:48:23.900 Uh, so much in here that I'd like to share, you know, we're going to have, we'll come back to this.
00:48:29.340 Um, this is two, there's two profound things that you said here to, to squeeze in to the, the final moments of the show.
00:48:36.140 So, but there is one thing that you said here, um, and I, and I think it's, it's, it's worthy sharing with the posses.
00:48:43.420 And that's it.
00:48:43.920 You said, I tried not to let perfection be the enemy of the good.
00:48:48.600 Um, when making progress in, in, in, in one's prayer life, one's interior life, that is so profound.
00:48:55.920 Um, and it's absolutely true, of course.
00:48:58.320 Um, but just put that again, I know that that is your own words, but add a little bit, if you wouldn't mind, to that particular insight.
00:49:05.520 Yeah, it's not just prayer life, it's life in general.
00:49:08.660 I think, um, anything you do, you have to adopt that as a mantra.
00:49:12.380 Don't let the, don't let perfection be the enemy of the good.
00:49:14.640 Otherwise you'll be paralyzed and we'll never get anything done.
00:49:17.420 Um, look, I came into this, I, you know, I, I was calling myself an atheist at the beginning of this.
00:49:22.960 I can't honestly call myself an atheist anymore.
00:49:25.020 So I'm going to lose that branding, I'm afraid, Ben.
00:49:27.840 But, um, uh, you know, I had some sort of trepidation in a way that like, was I being an imposter?
00:49:34.440 Was I sort of doing it for some sort of clout or something?
00:49:37.460 I don't know.
00:49:37.900 I felt slightly awkward about it.
00:49:39.880 Um, but I thought, well, who, who cares?
00:49:42.240 Who's looking at me?
00:49:43.100 You know, I'm just going to keep doing it.
00:49:45.040 Um, and there was definitely mornings when I was rushing through it and thinking about other things,
00:49:49.000 or maybe even washing the dishes or something.
00:49:51.920 Um, and again, I just kept doing it.
00:49:54.340 I just kept on doing it and I kept on doing it and I kept on doing it.
00:49:58.480 Um, another thing that I found very, very helpful was the sort of the meditation on detachment of things from the world.
00:50:06.060 That is my favorite one.
00:50:08.100 Um, because a couple, well, for a couple of reasons, obviously we all have problems.
00:50:13.280 Um, you know, 2025 was a year of, of sort of personal crisis for me and in a couple of different ways.
00:50:19.800 Um, and I didn't make it worse.
00:50:23.400 And the reason I didn't make it worse was because I had that sense of detachment, let God take care of it.
00:50:31.040 Um, and, you know, uh, limiting myself and my restlessness and my yearning.
00:50:36.500 Um, and these are very, very, very, very, very valuable tools.
00:50:41.260 It's also a very valuable meditation when you're in this business, uh, when you are delivering sort of hot takes, um, and looking at sort of the, uh, the, the, the internet landscape and the attention economy.
00:50:54.200 And it's a very good guide post to be reminded of all the time that let God guide you and not the attention economy, essentially.
00:51:04.720 That's beautiful, Jenny.
00:51:08.300 Thanks for your test testimony on that.
00:51:11.900 We'll come back to it.
00:51:13.360 Um, I'm sorry that we're going to lose the, um, the slogan of the atheist who prays the rosary every day, but it's all for the best.
00:51:21.220 I think it's for a very worthy exchange.
00:51:23.700 I mentioned your sub stack very quickly.
00:51:25.960 Where do people go to read that writing in particular and the rest of your output?

00:51:45.420 Thank you.
