00:05:34.000Cardinal Gretsch, who I call the synod boss, came to this synod consistory talking about synods and how they don't take away from the authority of the Pope, but they need to bring a consensus to him.
00:05:48.000So what happens when you have a bunch of people that disagree?
00:06:52.000So not only did they suppress liturgy altogether, but they didn't even have a talk on it.
00:06:57.000Because all it was was a reaffirmation of Francis's destruction of the ancient mass, which is the only really fruitful mass, the only thing that grows.
00:07:10.000The Novus Ordo mass that we've had since my whole lifetime, that has only led to destruction.
00:07:15.000It's led to people like going the other way.
00:07:18.000And so what Cardinal Roach has said, well, we've always changed liturgies.
00:07:22.000And Vatican II has mandated this Novus Ordo, which is a complete lie, they say all the time.
00:07:27.000But the liturgy always being changed, that's not true either.
00:07:31.000The ancient Latin mass goes back to before we can even tell, before we even know.
00:07:37.000And, you know, there are all sorts of diversity in liturgies that are possible, but they need to be Catholic.
00:07:43.000And they're saying that their new mass and the other mass together don't have unity.
00:07:49.000And unity, like Leo has always gone about, is essential.
00:07:52.000But they don't mean unity in Catholicism and in faith.
00:07:57.000They mean unity in what they're trying to accomplish.
00:08:23.000It was really a squashing of any descent from their program.
00:08:28.000I think the canon, the Roman canon, the canon of the mass goes back to like the third or the fourth century, pretty much untouched until the two priests rewrote it in a Roman restaurant in Trasteville overnight.
00:08:47.000They keep saying that it's Vatican II, but you're right, it was done discreetly, sort of behind the scenes after Vatican II.
00:08:53.000It's really not recommended in Vatican II at all.
00:08:56.000I noticed that Cardinal Cockroach quoted Pope Benedict in his pamphlet.
00:09:09.000He didn't quote, I searched for Frank Walker.
00:09:13.000I didn't find the part where the Holy Cardinal quotes Ratzinger as calling the Novus Audemars a banal on the spot product.
00:09:25.000That part was missing from Roach's summary.
00:09:32.000Tell me about if, tell me before we go to a quick break about Cardinal Zen's intervention when he calls synodality an ironclad manipulation and an insult to bishops.
00:09:51.000I hear that was a rather, no, it was to be expected, but the degree with which he spoke, I think was, wasn't exactly foreseen before the consistory.
00:10:03.000And, you know, we have to give full credit to him.
00:10:06.000This is, you see, people think that holiness and humility means being cowardly in the face of injustice.
00:10:18.000Of course, it doesn't mean that. And I think Cardinal, anyone who's met Cardinal Zen, I've met him.
00:10:22.000I don't know, Steve Bannon's obviously met him several times when he was in the White House, says he's one of the most holiest men he's ever met.
00:10:30.000And I can second that very humble guy in demeanor, not sort of this fake humility that you often see in a lot of ambitious prelates and the genuine humility, which you can see, you can feel.
00:10:43.000Very quiet guy, understated guy. He came out and I think gave the toughest speech.
00:10:48.000Just give me two minutes, if you wouldn't mind, on that and the potential consequences of what Cardinal Zen, who's been, who was a real hero for Catholics and all Christians when he was the Cardinal Bishop of Hong Kong in the face of the Chinese Communist Party.
00:11:09.000He's a very great guy. Holy man. Tell us, give us two minutes, Frank, if you wouldn't mind, on his criticisms of the consistory agenda.
00:11:20.000Well, I do remember how he did say that it's a manipulation, and that's exactly what it is. It's a control.
00:11:27.000And I was surprised that he was able to get out there with that speech in only three minutes.
00:11:34.000Most of this information that we're talking to today hadn't even been released yet, but his piece was out.
00:11:39.000And he also questioned, who are the people of God?
00:11:43.000And do these people that are in this event think that they're the people of God?
00:11:48.000And he also let everybody know that this was a synodal experience.
00:11:53.000This is not, you know, this is supposed to be a consistory where people, adults, talk to each other freely.
00:12:21.000And I can sort of understand that because he has been, I mean, he has watched Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Church turn into the Chinese Communist Church with the help of Francis and now Leo.
00:12:50.000It's exactly an example of what true Catholicism, true Christian faith is all about.
00:12:56.000You know, and I was so happy that at this night, which is really just a closed door session where no truth is permitted whatsoever, somebody, some little bit of flame of the faith still remained.
00:13:09.000And that should be inspiration to all Catholics all over the place, because what they have here is just a closing, dying process of masses and churches that are all dying.
00:13:18.000And they keep bringing back the hammer over Vatican II again and again.
00:13:22.000Father McTeague has been on the war room.
00:13:24.000He was practically enraged this week, talking about how they keep coming back to Vatican II again, pushing it again.
00:13:31.000It's just the same old like rhinos, the same old failed policies that have been forced on the church.
00:13:37.000And we have a little bit of Cardinal Zen with Catholicism because it keeps popping up through the cracks again, as you can see, you're going to see later in the show with the people in there are more Catholic than Protestant in the United States.
00:13:50.000The young people and people that are praying rosaries, even the, you know, the top pundits, conservative pundits in the world are holding up rosaries and getting slammed for it here and there.
00:14:01.000We're digging down on that in a few moments.
00:14:08.000And I would like to spend, I would actually like to spend the rest of the show, Frank, talking with you about how the 68 generation in the Catholic church that hijacked the church some 60 or so years ago has been running it into the ground.
00:14:23.000And, um, it's still clinging on with his deathly clammy fingertips on, um, I'd like to, we don't have time.
00:14:30.780The one thing I do want to quickly ask you though, before we, and we must go over to Jenny.
00:14:35.160The one thing I want to ask you, cause you mentioned this earlier, uh, and it's so right.
00:15:30.480Just give me 30 seconds on your takeaway of the fact that we called this, right.
00:15:36.760We've, we've said clearly, as clearly as we could possibly be what to expect from this pontificate and not to expect, certainly not in January.
00:15:45.480I happen to think he is going to do something, you know, merely because he just wants to dampen down the opposition so he can obliterate traditionalism outright.
00:16:19.640Well, the Latin mass, they were telling us that Leo was going to liberalize the Latin mass and be softer on it.
00:16:26.140But all they've done here in Cardinal Roach's intervention, which was only written down, is reassert Francis's hatred of the mass, that you can't go back, that Vatican II mandates it.
00:16:37.520And if you don't like this, you don't believe in the council, which Trad Inc.
00:16:40.540will not admit that they don't believe in the council.
00:16:42.720And, uh, it, it's, it's, it's absolutely full speed ahead, a hundred percent, the old, um, push of Francis.
00:16:50.460And there's no change to, to it whatsoever.
00:16:52.960And I think, I don't know if Trad Inc. is going to be beating this horn anymore.
00:16:55.820I think it's fine beating this anymore.
00:16:57.740It's, I think it's, um, they're going to turn the corner and they're going to look at other things now.
00:17:02.680They're, they're going to have to soften on the mass, not expect too much, because you can see right here that all they're going to do is keep doing what they've done.
00:17:10.480And there's other areas where Leo is going to give them, they, it's not like they want any success.
00:17:16.020They just want something they can hang their hat on and pretend it's success.
00:17:19.060So that's what they, that's what they're going to get from Leo.
00:23:14.580I see this as the standard youthful, the standard youth generation rebellion against the parents and their values fundamentally.
00:23:29.280You know, and whereas, say, generation X, our generation, rebelled against our parents, notionally Christian, but zero fruits style of, you know, cultural, social affiliation to Christianity.
00:23:49.320You know, we saw that, we saw that it was all basically a hoax, our generation, and we rejected that, you know, because basically who wants to rule, who wants to have their lives ruled by something whose adherents clearly don't believe it to be true.
00:24:08.200And yet, our generation's children have seen the godless materialism that we've been following, perhaps more coherently than our parents.
00:24:23.120But fundamentally, it's, it's valueless, um, and meaningless, uh, and the next generation doing that youthful rebellion is rebelling against that.
00:24:34.340And, you know, and what they're doing is they're, they're finding Christ, which is superb.
00:24:40.000Um, give me your take on that as a parent.
00:24:45.660I think they, uh, that it's because young people, people in their late teens and young adulthood have far more direct and early experience of the downside of the godless materialism that you mentioned.
00:25:00.920Um, it, I mean, obviously you and I grew up in a, in a very kind of prosperous, comfortable, physically comfortable world.
00:25:08.860But these kids have seen the downside of it and how hollow, um, excessive materialism is in a way they didn't because the options to them were so apparently endless and they understood how empty that actually made them feel.
00:25:26.080And they sought out a replacement that was more enduring, um, and that wasn't made of digital material, um, and, uh, you know, attention economy.
00:25:37.700It was made of something more robust and accessible directly from your heart and mind.
00:25:45.120Um, I mean, people, young people today have grown up with, you know, in, in wealthy countries have grown up with incredibly high standards of living physically and materially, but incredibly low standards of living intellectually, socially, and spiritually.
00:26:01.740Um, and, you know, I always think that there is this natural antenna that if, if, uh, sort of dusted off, will find its way to God, because that has been my experience.
00:26:14.320Um, so it doesn't really surprise me that young people are doing this.
00:26:17.760The other thing that is driving them is the, uh, horrors of woke.
00:26:21.760Um, and it's, you know, you and I, you know, we, we, we laugh at it and we, we condemn it and we see how crazy it is.
00:26:28.300But these young people were brought up, browbeaten by woke ideology, um, and punished for, um, if, if, if they couldn't, if they didn't abide by every single ridiculous false tenant of it.
00:26:46.840We're going to come back to you just after the break, continue on the theme, talking about the, the, the predominance now, always with Generation Z of Catholicism rather than Protestantism in the United States.
00:27:00.940There's a lot of politicians that should be getting coal in their stockings for Christmas, but Birch Gold thinks as a smart planner, you deserve silver.

00:28:30.200Holidays are here, and while the rest of the world follows the script written by Big Pharma, real Americans are taking control of their own health.
00:28:40.760You do not need permission from a corporate medical machine to care for yourself.
00:28:45.820That is where All Family Pharmacy comes in.
00:30:04.480They sell or write off the debt to clear their books.

00:34:39.060And, you know, I could be wrong, but I'm reading that as meaning that the Protestant churches, many of them, the big ones, went woke and got broke.
00:34:49.880I think now, you sort of, you know, everyone from sort of Unitarians, I think even the Presbyterians,
00:34:57.860I mean, a lot of these big established churches are now forever indelibly associated with drag queens in church surfaces
00:36:40.160Jenny, we'll be back later with you in the show to talk about your spiritual progress.
00:36:47.480As we say constantly, you are the—I won't say you're the only atheist I know who prays the rosary every day.
00:36:55.480You're probably the only person I know who prays the rosary every day.
00:37:00.000You'll be telling us more about the spiritual fruits that you've got on the back of that.
00:37:03.300I don't know if you mentioned it, but I just want to repeat the thing again from the study, the 2023 Cooperative Election Study, the CES study, which has become available now, in fact.
00:37:16.180That is 21% of Generation Z adults identify as Catholic compared with 19% who describe themselves as positive.
00:40:22.000Um, they, they weren't clear really on what it's supposed to be.
00:40:25.180They said that, uh, there's an, there's an actress in there, um, deep breathing.
00:40:30.760I don't think babies in the placenta breathe.
00:40:33.180I think that's what they're, they're assuming that's what it is, because it's, because it's supposed to be a baby, that it's a baby inside, not the placenta, but inside the amniotic sac.
00:40:42.200Well, babies aren't born that way anyway.
00:40:44.700Um, the, uh, the, the outrage from the community is right.
00:40:49.080And this was at a Catholic, um, broadcasting network at their Christmas service.
00:40:55.000And they said that they even sort of abridged the Christmas service so that they can have this.
00:40:59.200And the priest who, who is responsible for this, he defended it.
00:41:03.920And he said, he said, it showed a human being lying there, miserable, naked, and exposed.
00:41:08.420You know, you know, it's like in, in Germany, they seem to have all of these horrible, offensive things and they blame it on art.
00:41:15.980And the way you know that it's art is they say something like that, you know, um, they, uh, the, the, the, he said, this is how radically God becomes human, close, touchable, without distance and real.
00:41:29.700And the, uh, even they had to have representatives, even from the, um, the Christian Democrats, the, the rhinos of Germany said that it was disgusting.
00:41:37.580Uh, uh, people that, that, um, responded in, uh, in, in, uh, to it directly, the regular watchers, they called it woke.
00:41:44.200I don't know what's supposedly, supposedly woke about it.
00:41:47.060You know, it really is to me, it's more satanic actually than woke.
00:41:54.180Even giving the Stuttgart diocese the benefit of the doubt here, right?
00:42:00.320It would seem that they're lacking prudence and counsel.
00:42:04.880Counsel being one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, prudence being one of the cardinal virtues, right?
00:42:10.220The very best, they seem to be lacking those two particular graces.
00:42:15.780And what does that tell you about the, the hierarchy, the German hierarchy that lack, that is a manifestly lacking both prudence and counsel?
00:42:25.920Now, I think it was absolutely astonishing, Frank, uh, really astonishing, not surprising, but this just shows you how the decline, uh, takes place.
00:42:35.040It's when people, when our, when our pastors, our bishops, our shepherds are lacking in supernatural faith, if you're lacking in supernatural faith, you're going to be lacking in the supernatural graces as well, right?
00:42:48.040The bishop defended it too, and they're not going to do anything about it either.
00:42:51.700So, you know, it isn't just a German hierarchy.
00:42:54.180I don't understand what it is about Germany, but we're all supposed to tolerate this stuff from them.
00:42:58.000This should be handled from a Leo on down.
00:43:10.220And it shows you that the priest and the bishop and the entire church approves of this.
00:43:17.100I think this is a, this is what Satanism is.
00:43:19.980It's making mockery of God and the things of God and who God is.
00:43:24.280And the fact that they defend this at all and it's permitted shows you what we need to remember every day, who they really are.
00:43:31.760Just like Cardinal Kissy Fernandez talking to all the cardinals about how they should re-evaluate their sermons to make sure there's not too much doctrine in them.
00:43:52.240Um, I, I desperately want to get to Jenny now to, to, to discuss her spiritual journey.
00:43:57.620Before we do that, I just, I give a shout out in the first half of the show.
00:44:01.180I'm going to quickly do so again to, uh, Birch Gold.
00:44:04.320Um, as I said before, from now until January the 30th, folks, so you've got a two week runway left.
00:44:12.040When you complete your purchase with Birch Gold, they will send you a free copy of the exclusive Patriots edition, End of the Dollar Empire, which is the limited edition book.
00:44:35.300Now, Jenny Holland, um, since you first came on the show, uh, when we started doing the Wednesday format, um, you said that you are an atheist.
00:44:50.960Uh, but you said that in your words, an atheist who prays the rosary every day.
00:44:55.620What I didn't realize, Jenny Holland, um, was literally, that was a proper regimen of praying the rosary every day.
00:45:03.900Um, and compliment, you know, complimenting to you.
00:45:07.980Tell us a little bit then, uh, and you've written this in Substack.
00:45:12.140Folks, I very strongly, I read it, very powerful witness, actually.
00:45:16.700Go to, to Jenny's, um, Substack, where, where she says, uh, the consequence of how she came about it.
00:45:24.560We, we only got like five minutes here.
00:45:27.280Um, but there are a couple of things, the takeaways in your Substack, seeing as you did this.
00:45:33.600Um, and I, you know, I was praying the rosary every day at the time of my conversion some 20, 25 years ago.
00:45:39.520Um, and it's a discipline I sadly lost, but I, I remember the spiritual graces from that time.
00:45:45.400Um, I think some of the important takeaways here in your article, um, is that how you set about doing it?
00:45:52.700Because you said that you didn't set out at the beginning to achieve a year-long stretch.
00:45:59.260Basically, you did it for a day, that sort of rolled into a week, and you saw how that went, that rolled into a month.
00:46:04.900Still without intending to do it for the whole year, um, but marking it away on your, on your little app.
00:46:10.040Um, and then the sort of the habit, the discipline became the habit, um, and you, you stuck with it.
00:46:18.560Uh, tell us a bit about that then, please.
00:46:22.220Yeah, so Sunday was the 365th consecutive day that I prayed the rosary.
00:46:26.920Um, and actually, this is the perfect place to discuss it because, as I say in my article, the seed of my rosary habit was planted on Steve Bannon's war room, uh, right here on this very show quite a few years ago.
00:46:43.180I want to say maybe 2021 or 2022, when he did a whole extended segment on the power of prayer.
00:46:49.580And I was very sort of taken aback by this because I love Steve's show for his sort of, it's a biting analysis and his rail politique and his very sort of like of the world, um, motivation, um, and insight.
00:47:04.260And hearing him and others, his guests talk about prayer as a real world thing that actually made material difference, um, in the world, communal prayers, sending up the prayers and specifically mentioning the rosary.
00:47:19.200Um, he also had a rabbi on, I mean, it was really interesting show, but specifically mentioning the rosary, it just opened a door of possibility in my mind.
00:47:25.760Um, it took a few years to fully germinate, um, but as I started intermittently praying in 2024, um, yeah, just this time last year, I just started doing it every day without any specific goal in mind.
00:47:40.580Um, and it became something that I looked forward to.
00:47:45.340It became something that I sort of relied upon.
00:47:48.240Um, I found that it made my mood better.
00:47:50.280If I woke up on the wrong side of the bed, um, I would pray the rosary and I would be a lot more cheerful.
00:47:54.860And, and, and, and gracious to my husband and to people around me.
00:47:59.720Um, I found that, um, yeah, it just, it just produced a peacefulness and a stability within me that became stronger and stronger as the year wore on.
00:50:23.400And the reason I didn't make it worse was because I had that sense of detachment, let God take care of it.
00:50:31.040Um, and, you know, uh, limiting myself and my restlessness and my yearning.
00:50:36.500Um, and these are very, very, very, very, very valuable tools.
00:50:41.260It's also a very valuable meditation when you're in this business, uh, when you are delivering sort of hot takes, um, and looking at sort of the, uh, the, the, the internet landscape and the attention economy.
00:50:54.200And it's a very good guide post to be reminded of all the time that let God guide you and not the attention economy, essentially.
00:52:10.300Imagine having the world's most connected financial insider feeding you vital information.
