00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for i mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing
00:00:18.440 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the authoritarians
00:00:26.200 get total control and total power because this is just like in arizona this is just like in georgia
00:00:31.980 it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and misrepresentations
00:00:37.060 is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is the fight
00:00:40.820 all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's your host
00:00:47.940 stephen k bannon peter k navarro in for stephen k bannon today war room battleground and um
00:00:59.860 at some point that musical stop but it's kind of nice music there we go yeah all right we're good
00:01:07.760 uh look um this uh this shows a different cat from from the the other war room show for good reason
00:01:17.100 what i love about this show is its granularity uh the the the mission the mission right now
00:01:25.840 uh of everyone who's considered to be themselves a trump deplorable as i am uh a war room uh action
00:01:36.780 action action oriented person um we have we have one mission uh for 2022 and that is
00:01:46.300 to take back the house of representatives from um the democrats and do it in the name of
00:01:55.720 mega do it in the name of trump republicanism not rhino republicanism and at the same time
00:02:02.800 we're pursuing that mission uh we also must must win races across this great country
00:02:11.800 um key races in secretaries of state which are basically the election officials
00:02:20.280 in states like michigan pennsylvania arizona uh which who were responsible for uh the steal of the
00:02:34.080 2020 election we had soros backed people in michigan and pennsylvania in particular
00:02:39.900 and they did incredible damage to this republic uh by facilitating illegal ballots uh contaminating
00:02:49.540 uh the ballot box so there's that and then there's also issues like school boards um boards of supervisors
00:03:00.720 i mean these school boards right now every parent in america who is concerned about preparing their
00:03:08.460 children for a highly competitive world wants their schools to focus on reading writing
00:03:18.580 arithmetic calculus physics uh stem science technology engineering math um and just as the u.s military
00:03:33.040 is is is focused now not on military preparedness and developing the next generations of defense weapons to fight off
00:03:46.500 things like hypersonic vehicles from the friggin chinese and russians um our school boards are focused
00:03:54.800 not on teaching our children well and preparing them well for what we face uh but instead um have been
00:04:04.840 just engulfed by this woke democrat progressive party which teaches everything but what our children need
00:04:18.180 in order to be prepared for a competitive world in a very very tough global economic environment and what this show does
00:04:28.080 is provide the opportunity to give you windows into these state and local races um so that you understand
00:04:41.260 boots on the ground what's going on and sometimes you'll find a race that you might want to contribute to
00:04:46.720 or give to or be interested in and what's beautiful about steve bannon in the war room is that
00:04:55.220 he sees the big picture but he does it in a way it's like a pointillism painting right it's like there's all
00:05:02.640 these little dots out there school boards uh congressional districts secretaries of state
00:05:09.920 races down ballot races um but when you when you put it all together it becomes a pattern of power and who
00:05:19.840 has it and right now um we are relatively powerless to defend ourselves against the policies of a president
00:05:32.500 and a congress and a congress and some state legislatures and governors who are doing everything in their power and
00:05:41.020 a lot of times they don't even understand it um to destroy our economy uh to erode the fabric
00:05:48.660 of our society and our culture and our american ideals and shred the constitution
00:05:56.400 in the process i you know this war room is broadcast deep in the swamp i point this direction
00:06:04.480 and i could literally throw a baseball and hit the supreme court wouldn't do that don't come arrest me
00:06:11.960 been arrested once in leg hours that's that's once is enough but my point is that we're here
00:06:17.720 in the swamp and we see this bad decisions get made every day i mean look it's like congress spends
00:06:28.340 virtually all of its time now on everything but solving the problems that you out there deplorable land
00:06:36.540 care about your major concern right now is the price of gasoline and the price of food and whether
00:06:45.240 you're you're going to have a job at a decent wage tomorrow when you go in and and and and do your
00:06:52.460 punch card or however it is you check in for your work and there's serious issues afoot so that that's
00:07:00.540 the big preamble and and true to that spirit in the first half hour of the show today we thank frank
00:07:08.120 speech uh for for for hosting this among others um that um we're going to talk to um a series of
00:07:17.100 candidates uh for various offices so um if if i'm correct the first person we want to go to
00:07:25.680 um is a gentleman named anthony sabatini i believe it's the 34th district in the great state of florida
00:07:34.920 i want to welcome anthony to the war room and um i want to just talk um start out anthony um if you
00:07:42.760 can um describe your district where it is in florida i'm an old floridian so you can be as as specific
00:07:50.140 as you can tell us um when the primary is when absentee ballots starting who your opponents are and why
00:07:58.480 you're the guy hey well dr navarro thanks for having me on it's great to be back on i think i
00:08:05.240 did 20 20 appearances in the last year it's been great keeping everybody in the war room
00:08:09.560 posse up to date on what's happening in florida i'm currently in the florida state house which has
00:08:14.740 been the honor of a lifetime been there fighting with desantis against the radical left for the last
00:08:19.520 four years but now i'm running for an open federal congressional seat it's actually one of the
00:08:24.480 seats that emerged when steve and the war room posse started beating the drum and making sure
00:08:30.140 that we put pressure on the state legislature to pass a strong constitutional map that was going to
00:08:36.360 provide good wins for constitutional conservatives so a new republican seat emerged and that's what i'm
00:08:42.520 running in it's district seven it's the area between orlando and daytona beach it's a strong
00:08:47.060 conservative area so the real battle is actually the primary it's me the america first populist choice
00:08:53.580 who believes in constitutional liberty who's been fighting alongside governor desantis for the last
00:08:58.700 four years and following in trump's footsteps trying to make the country great again uh against some
00:09:04.160 swamp creatures you know those affiliated with the old bush wing of the republican party which wants
00:09:10.300 to roll back the gains and the posture and the issues that animate the republican party today and so
00:09:17.260 that's really the the race in a nutshell is republican primary between the new america first movement
00:09:22.460 and the old bush wing and when uh when's the primary when's absentee ballot uh start
00:09:29.320 so in florida we have very late primaries it's august 23rd but the absentee ballot voting
00:09:36.020 which we call mail-in uh vote-by-mail voting uh started three days ago so saturday uh folks are
00:09:42.320 uh mailing their ballots in we've been working the phones on that and then early voting will start
00:09:47.700 uh august 13th open primary uh where the dems can vote in your primary or is this a closed primary
00:09:55.300 where only registered republicans vote thank goodness it is a true uh closed republican primary
00:10:02.400 no npas no non-party affiliates no democrats yeah good that's good and um the metrics uh usually in in
00:10:11.800 these uh races are uh how much money have you raised relative to your rivals and uh what's the latest poll
00:10:18.640 say well the latest poll has me up plus seven so i'm number one in the race which is great that came
00:10:25.240 out literally today rasmussen um and we've raised 1.1 million dollars and every last penny of it from
00:10:31.940 grassroots patriots across the state and across the country who appreciated the fight that i put up
00:10:37.880 during covet against tyrannical local governments and against uh woke uh institutions that are trying
00:10:44.400 to push wokeism in our schools etc disney was a big fight uh that gained me a lot of support in this
00:10:50.500 race people know who the real fighter is are you seeing uh any uh any of the dark money the the rhino
00:10:58.080 money uh going into your rivals yes a bleep very slowly it started to come in slowly i have one
00:11:06.440 opponent uh who's uh very very strongly affiliated with dan crenshaw endorsed by dan crenshaw and so
00:11:13.180 that dark money is coming in i think it's going to come in a flood in the next few uh weeks but in
00:11:18.200 the beginning it's just sort of been trickling in the good news is that a lot of his money has been
00:11:22.460 grifted away by the grifters that animate uh that way in the republican party yeah it's mostly gone
00:11:28.800 and then uh i guess i guess um um is um is de santis uh or donald trump um are they both staying on the
00:11:38.740 sidelines in this race right now they're on the sidelines it's very good chance de santis stays
00:11:44.340 out he's actually never endorsed in a normal uh congressional primary uh but i definitely i'm
00:11:50.080 hoping for and somewhat expect the trump endorsement i've met with him several times i've been the
00:11:55.200 strongest pro-trump mega fighter in the state legislature uh for the last four years so i'm
00:12:00.620 expecting uh something positive to happen in that realm uh all right we uh anthony we we wish you the
00:12:08.860 best um if um you're watching the war room from anthony's district absentee ballots have begun um you know
00:12:17.980 what to do um it's so critical uh that we get uh pro-trump folks back i i'm assuming you're uh
00:12:25.980 you're solid on the uh the the pro-trump mega agenda the way i describe it is secure southern borders
00:12:33.460 uh fair not free trade including uh tough tariffs on china um and an end to endless wars uh are we on
00:12:41.700 the same page there anthony 100 percent uh got to save the american industry and bring it back and
00:12:48.560 we need to close the border and we need to be doing deportations those are that's the heart of
00:12:52.480 the movement and and anybody that differs from us on that is not not maggot whatsoever
00:12:57.020 let me ask you the the last question is going to be the tough one uh i don't mean to leave it to
00:13:03.140 the end but um if you get elected are you going to vote for kevin mccarthy for speaker
00:13:08.540 no never never in fact i'm the only candidate in the race that's pledged not to vote for kevin
00:13:14.760 mccarthy under any circumstances he's a weak leader uh he can't be trusted and we think we need to be
00:13:20.620 looking at somebody more like an andy bigg somebody filling with the freedom caucus who has a command of
00:13:25.540 the issues but also the courage that's needed and that's totally absent in the old guard uh that
00:13:30.840 courage is necessary to bring the republican party to a great period and i'm sorry but mccarthy don't have
00:13:36.640 it uh i'm so glad to hear that uh folks in the uh the war room know uh my views as well as steve's
00:13:45.600 use on kevin mccarthy he is part of the rhino wing of the republican party along with mitch mcconnell
00:13:52.740 in the senate and um if we take back the house and senate in 2022 for the republican party and those
00:14:00.220 two of the leaders uh we will not have fulfilled the mission so let's uh let's get anthony sabatini
00:14:06.540 um in there and um thank you uh for your time sir i'll let you uh get out there and shake some hands
00:14:13.920 and uh knock on some doors good luck to you sir you're a hero good to meet you good to talk with
00:14:18.820 you again take care my brother you take care man all right um again what i love about this show is
00:14:26.500 as we go right to the grassroots um let's move now to the great state of missouri and um
00:14:35.920 kyle my buddy i see it's kyle right kyle labrew yes kyle like a uh all right say it again so
00:14:47.420 everybody knows who you are kyle labrew brew all right my brother so um tell us now
00:14:55.960 um about the fourth district of missouri where is it in the state um do you have a uh a republican
00:15:04.860 only primary how many opponents do you have how much money have you raised and who's endorsed you
00:15:11.280 you can run through that checklist okay so uh the fourth district is massive it runs all the way up
00:15:19.720 just below kansas city and all the way down just above uh springfield missouri and all the way over
00:15:26.340 to the kansas border uh the a uh absentee ballot has already started to they've already started to go
00:15:33.740 out and our uh primary is august 2nd so uh if anybody's watching this please consider voting for me
00:15:41.060 i am the only candidate in the race that is an american businessman i built my business from the
00:15:46.840 ground up i built houses i started that in 2008 so i certainly know what it means like to what it's
00:15:53.440 like to reinvent yourself and and to work through trials and issues um i have raised uh very little
00:16:00.380 funds because i'm i'm funding this myself actually i don't want to owe anybody i don't want to be part of
00:16:05.420 the swamp i just want to be somebody that can say no and needs to be said no and say yes when it should
00:16:10.700 when it's best for america and uh what i'm seeing as i'm out here we're knocking about 1200 doors a day
00:16:16.980 is what we're hitting we're doing the old old school grassroots way uh looking at people's eyeballs let
00:16:22.440 them know what we're about and what people are telling me is that they're tired of the same as as
00:16:27.600 usual everybody stalemate and get nothing done and um i'm the type of guy that picks up an issue
00:16:33.620 and gets it done one at a time and that's that's what i'll be doing
00:16:37.420 have you um ever been uh in electoral politics before i mean what motivated you to run for office
00:16:47.540 because it's it's it's not um it's a labor of love i you know i've done it myself um you put a lot
00:16:54.660 a lot on the line a lot of your times you in your case your own money um i did that myself if you
00:17:02.320 had talked to me before your race i would have told you never to do that go out and raise money
00:17:05.860 uh but it's too late now um but what what what what got you going on this kyle well i look at the
00:17:13.820 world today and i just i see people making awful decisions for my children every single day
00:17:18.240 and i'm tired of standing by waiting for something to do what's right and i just decided
00:17:22.740 to get involved and you're absolutely 100 right you don't have any idea how much it takes
00:17:28.040 to be able to get your money up on a race like this until you get in it and you start to appreciate
00:17:34.320 the people that are there trying to fight for what's right because you realize that it is a
00:17:38.260 sacrifice and i'm you know i'm sacrificing family time i'm sacrificing money and i'm sacrificing
00:17:43.980 some of the other opportunities that are around me because i believe that america is the greatest
00:17:48.320 country in the world and i'm just tired of watching uh one bad decision after the other
00:17:53.260 i mean you look at even the the uh ads for today they're telling they're telling people just to
00:18:00.920 suck it up that it'll get better on this on this gas prices thing well you know we got single moms
00:18:06.400 we got dads that are just being pressed down farther and farther trying to get to work and uh you know
00:18:12.020 we got farmers that are trying to stay afloat in this economy that we have and it seems like our
00:18:16.880 president is so far disconnected that he doesn't even realize um what the american people need
00:18:21.900 and then then you see people that are in congress just going oh it's not that bad
00:18:26.060 because they're all millionaires you know they're not the people that are in the grassroots here in
00:18:30.400 missouri just trying to get by you know they don't really understand what the average american is
00:18:35.100 dealing with and i guess that's what i want to bring uh to congress is i want to bring the voice
00:18:40.160 of the people and get rid of all this uh political go ahead is there an incumbent in this race
00:18:47.680 is there an incumbent in this race no incumbents but it's a it's a full primary there's there's a
00:18:52.920 there's quite a few people running it it's an open seat yes yes it is what's the uh as they say in the
00:18:59.160 trade is it is it plus seven democrat plus seven republican plus two what is it considered to be is this
00:19:05.980 a contestable seat this is this is trump country so uh i think it's an r25 okay
00:19:11.680 they all are 25 so whoever wins the primary it's done right so so how many um candidates do you have
00:19:20.140 uh that you're uh tilting against here well there's five serious candidates and i'd say that there's a
00:19:27.580 couple there's a couple more that i don't really know what they're doing a couple of them have a
00:19:31.580 website so um but is it you know is it a winner take all primary or is it the a runoff uh with the
00:19:40.360 top two to get 50 percent it's a winner take all and so i'm running so that gives you a chance
00:19:48.540 that gives you a chance you could win this with 20 of the vote that's correct yeah i i uh that is
00:19:55.580 correct and anybody in america that's willing to work has a chance and i'll outwork anybody i promise you
00:20:01.180 that is um is president trump uh endorsed anybody in the race he hasn't endorsed anybody
00:20:10.260 in the race and it's looking like he's probably not going to just because it's you know it's not
00:20:15.460 one of the the more it's a toss-up yeah toss-up districts but it's it whoever wins the primary is
00:20:23.020 is going to is going to win and uh they're going to be the representative of the fourth district and so
00:20:28.340 i'm excited to bring uh who i am as a business owner and as a father to to congress to try to
00:20:35.880 represent these people you know i think it's has uh has kevin mccarthy uh reached out to you or is
00:20:44.600 he endorsed anybody in this race is he's funneling money in because you know that's what he does he
00:20:50.060 tries to he tries to buy buy votes so that he stays in power what's what's the status of kevin these
00:20:55.860 days he's not reaching out to me but he i'm sure he's involved there are some some rhinos in this
00:21:01.320 area and uh as you can tell by our legislator vote times um and i you know there's just there's
00:21:09.000 rhino money here trying to press hard on on that senate position and other things and uh for me i'm
00:21:14.820 just i'm just sick and tired of people not getting things done you know missouri is the show me state
00:21:19.300 so we're ready for people to actually do something and uh you know we can get it done one voice and one
00:21:25.380 vote at a time if you uh all right sir you seem like a a good man and a capable man uh let people
00:21:32.540 know how they can help with your campaign and then uh we're going to bid you farewell here and good
00:21:37.920 luck that's kyle labrew.com i'm on facebook i'm on twitter i'm on getter and as of recent i'm even
00:21:45.200 on tiktok so check me out uh and we'll get some things done i appreciate you guys and uh appreciate
00:21:51.760 everything you and steve do for all right brother good luck to you out there uh in the trenches uh
00:21:59.280 look um a man like that america should be proud of uh he's putting it on the line and in the name
00:22:06.180 of democracy and uh we need more folks like that um rather than less um all right and as i promised
00:22:14.380 we're going to continue around this great country next uh we're going to arizona and who we seeing
00:22:22.440 okay um all right so got a few minutes left we're going to try to get uh uh our arizona
00:22:33.840 candidate back in the meantime let me just um try to put uh put this uh in perspective here and let me
00:22:42.740 let me let me uh let me brazenly uh do a pitch for my uh taking back trump's america book here and the
00:22:50.360 reason why i bring it up um is because this book is a blueprint and a battle cry essentially uh for
00:23:02.460 taking back trump's america in in two stages really um stage one has to be it absolutely has to be
00:23:11.440 uh removing uh removing nancy pelosi from the house of representatives um as speaker of the house
00:23:19.600 um as i as i talk about in the taking back trump's america book um the
00:23:26.300 ascendance of pelosi in 2018 was um a contributing factor
00:23:36.640 um to donald trump's loss in 2020 um the whole theme of the taking back trump's america book
00:23:45.620 on amazon by the way um is a takeoff on ronald reagan's personnel is policy phrasing uh where
00:23:54.460 um i take a more granular view of bad personnel um is bad policy is bad politics
00:24:02.700 and um the problem we had i tell the story in taking back trump's america about how um in the
00:24:13.340 white house decisions were made to focus more on the senate rather than the house in the 28 18 races
00:24:20.700 and despite my warnings and warnings of others like steve we let that house slip away and the ensuing
00:24:28.500 chaos uh and attacks from the likes of pelosi shift raskin and others took their toll on donald trump
00:24:37.100 um in the 2020 election um all right we have um our next guest back uh matt we uh excuse me cameron
00:24:45.160 who do we have it sherry spire i'm so delighted sherry to welcome you to the war room uh you are from
00:24:53.120 the great state of arizona i believe and tell us uh what you're running for and why sure i'm running
00:25:00.840 for superintendent of public instruction in most states it's actually an appointed position but here
00:25:07.040 in arizona it is elected which is probably a good thing we need to make sure that we have the will of
00:25:12.240 the people in every key position and this is the person who is the chief education officer in the state
00:25:18.100 so um that's what i'm running for to bring some sense into the department of education we have a
00:25:23.760 very progressive liberal superintendent right now that we must take out of office comes november
00:25:29.440 we've only got a minute i apologize that but we had some technical difficulties what's the worst thing
00:25:36.120 that the person is doing right now in that position and how would you stop it
00:25:41.940 you know she's obsessed with uh lgbtq and gender ideology so the sexualizing and the grooming of our
00:25:49.540 children is real i can't explain and convey how bad it is actually in all uh in all levels i mean from

00:30:17.980 favorite guys i like to talk to um one of the most astute guys and he's always perfect
00:30:23.260 for the battleground show because what we're about here is granularity and one of the things
00:30:29.660 that had been that's been weighing on my mind since the the georgia and we'll call it what it is fiasco
00:30:36.300 where where we lost jody heiss in the secretary of state race that would have been a good replacement
00:30:43.420 said we're stuck with raffensperger there um and um you know vernon jones got his head handed to him
00:30:50.860 there and um you know it's like i there's something about georgia where this rhino wing of the republican
00:31:01.180 party they're deep pocketed they seem to have good ground game they kind of know how to like like hit
00:31:08.460 above their weight when it comes to battling trump and i'm worried deeply worried that something like
00:31:14.700 that might be going on in arizona as i'm watching uh uh carrie lake struggle against the the billionaire
00:31:23.420 money of of robeson fighting against her uh i know that they're going to go after fincham every way
00:31:30.140 which loose his secretary of state race and of course there's the blake masters race so let's bring
00:31:35.980 in richard now i just i love the color of your t-shirt richard i think i might get one of those
00:31:41.420 myself uh nice and uh and so if you could why don't we um why don't we start with arizona and
00:31:50.700 there's some other issues i want to do but but tell me uh boots on the ground how do you how do you see
00:31:57.260 a any kind of a repeat of georgia fiasco in arizona in your polling and and have i read that wrong
00:32:03.980 well tell me what you what you're thinking what you're seeing yeah yeah we we actually did stay
00:32:08.940 in the field for another day peter to make sure uh we didn't miss anything with mike pence and doug
00:32:14.700 do see um but the fact is carrie lake we just and people can go check it out on uh creative
00:32:21.340 destruction media.com or just cdm.press the poll was just released there uh the senate's coming out
00:32:27.820 the secretary of state it'll be out within minutes um carrie lake is doing something that david
00:32:33.340 purdue just never could do and jody heist never could do uh which is dominating and we aren't
00:32:39.260 talking about two totally different electorates one is really heavily hispanic even in a republican
00:32:44.940 primary there's going to be a good chunk of hispanic voters uh and and the former president is popular
00:32:52.540 in the state of arizona so the i would be i think it's fair to say the endorsement in arizona
00:32:57.980 carries more weight than it does in some of these southern uppity old school rhinos with the word uh
00:33:06.700 you know republican states yeah yeah i mean carrie lake's got a big lead here 43 to 29 and it started
00:33:14.460 for 43 robeson is the uh robeson's the 29 she is is this a closed primary republicans only is it can
00:33:24.300 the democrats come in and and make mischief yeah you can i mean there is a little bit of mischief
00:33:29.740 making you can do that uh but the fact is it's it's not significant you know what is the percentage of
00:33:35.980 voters who are typically call themselves independents who uh intend to vote on the republican side versus
00:33:42.220 the democratic side so looking at it right now independent and third party voters we asked in
00:33:47.100 which part primary do you intend to participate 62 percent almost 61.6 percent of these voters
00:33:54.620 said i'm voting in the republican primary and they're going for lake and masters by the way they're going
00:33:59.420 for lake and mass all right so here's an here's a question well we'll get to masters um what percentage
00:34:06.220 of the voters i'm sure you must ask this um already know that that lake has the trump endorsement and and
00:34:13.420 that's influencing their decision that you know that's a good question because in georgia 60 percent
00:34:19.740 of voters told us in the state of georgia that they didn't they couldn't accurately tell us who uh
00:34:25.820 the president endorsed which was to me uh crazy uh this is not the case here about 25 percent don't
00:34:33.020 know about the trump endorsement totally different ballgame so uh it is there's without a doubt peter it's
00:34:39.020 helping and honestly before if i don't want to leave arizona too soon but without saying this
00:34:43.980 it's a state that really underscores how important illustrates how important this fight for the party
00:34:49.100 is um if you look at and donald trump did so much better than mxalli uh among these groups of voters
00:34:56.540 that are the future of the country not just the state of arizona so all of if i i tweeted before
00:35:01.980 folks look at the crosstabs look at age look at race and look at generation because we asked by are you
00:35:07.820 first second third generation what state were you born in the people who are making up the surge in
00:35:13.900 the population in this country like america first they don't like republican establishment candidates
00:35:19.980 so this is why donald trump outperformed and this includes yeah and this includes hispanics more and
00:35:27.980 more oh there's a big is that part of the equation kerry kerry lake is thrashing robeson
00:35:34.700 with hispanics blake masters has about a 15 point lead these guys see i was on with charlie kirk
00:35:40.780 before and i was trying to explain the demographic and he said they're the joe rogan voters they're
00:35:44.860 just hispanic hispanic joe rogan voters yeah working working you know folks family folks
00:35:50.780 uh definitely the hispanic vote is going to play a huge role going forward and that's why arizona is
00:35:56.140 not going to turn into georgia because georgia's 30 plus sometimes uh african-american and there's a
00:36:02.700 lot of yuppie whites peter you know there's no better remember we called them yuppies in the 80s
00:36:06.540 and 90s right that's who they are overly educated you know um that's not the case outside of phoenix
00:36:13.580 in arizona you know so i i was concerned that it is a horrible tragedy i mean um uh trump's um
00:36:23.980 ex-wife uh ivana that died and that that um yeah made made the trip that trump was going to take
00:36:33.100 on behalf of of lake and and and masters to arizona that got canceled i was told that
00:36:39.340 the yeah the absentee ballots were already rolling in um so i guess what you're saying is now that you've
00:36:45.980 been in the field um she's okay without that and and masters is also let's turn to masters go ahead
00:36:54.940 yeah uh well i was just gonna say uh carrie you know the situation with carrie lake's race is that
00:36:59.980 it isn't as crowded and there's a lot less undecideds now governor races tend to decide a
00:37:05.420 little bit quicker on some of these senate like really hype senate battles uh but we did ask about
00:37:11.500 likelihood to vote but also have you voted already do you plan to vote before election day
00:37:16.620 or are you going to vote on election day uh robson leads by a poultry one point among those are already
00:37:24.700 voted 42.5 to 41.9 kerry lake leads with the voters who haven't voted yet but intend to vote early before
00:37:32.620 election day 41.7 to 25.8 and then on election day it's just a bloodbath 46.7 to 20.5 but
00:37:41.340 arizona is heavily mail-in so it's very key to both um lake and masters that they're winning that vote
00:37:49.500 of people who uh intend to cast their ballots before election day which so how do you i mean
00:37:54.300 i just don't know where robson's gonna find the vote how do you explain the the the dead heat uh for
00:38:01.020 that first tranche you described between robeson and lake you know i think you say you kind of said
00:38:07.580 i think you kind of said it uh before they they have a ground game in some of these states they
00:38:14.300 really know how to use it a lot of people underestimated okay uh you know some of these
00:38:18.460 like camps they bank they bank them yeah uh the thing is that i i and i have noticed the president
00:38:24.700 has you know tweeted in truth several times go out and vote get those early ballots in uh and then also
00:38:31.020 i think it's a kind of voter you know the more skeptical voter doesn't want to hand their ballot in right
00:38:35.420 away we did hear about a couple of problems by the way people who wanted to go uh vote in person
00:38:41.180 said taking off the the uh permanent mailing ballot list and then yet we're still receiving ballots uh
00:38:47.660 that they didn't expect to receive if that happens to you and you plan to vote in person take the
00:38:53.260 ballot they mailed to you uh with you when you go to vote in person make sure you bring it with you
00:38:58.540 don't fill it out just bring it with you yeah all right um because yeah it's a do you know what joe
00:39:03.660 peter yeah yeah did you ask the question uh uh did you do any match-ups of uh katie hobbs
00:39:11.820 on the democratic side that the disasters the secretary of state who who basically uh stole the election from
00:39:18.860 trump did you did you uh matt do a match-up with lake versus robeson we did we did uh you know it's not
00:39:27.020 it's not out there yet but i will just tell you this uh you know we're gonna drop a bomb on people
00:39:31.180 if breaking news here yeah yeah lake is ahead of hobbs it's a small lead but it's a lead she's
00:39:37.980 winning independence she doesn't have bleeding and the crossover uh and masters is not that far
00:39:43.820 behind kelly at all it's very doable and the reason why is because masters wins a voter so does lake by
00:39:50.220 the way and and as um you know somebody like master i think a lot of these hispanic voters they
00:39:55.260 like the rough and tumble they like that so uh you know donald trump performs so much better among
00:40:00.940 these voters mick sally with masters that's he doesn't have that problem so uh kelly is not
00:40:07.500 going to split these voters in your world is arizona a purple state now i mean if you're telling me that
00:40:15.980 that both the governor and the senate races are are dead heats effectively or within reach of the
00:40:21.820 republicans um that doesn't sound like a red state to me how do you square that circle i you know i
00:40:28.780 think over time we may see it swing back republican but the fact is i i wouldn't call it a red state
00:40:34.860 and this is somebody who calls florida a red state florida's it's done um democrats just hang it up
00:40:40.700 there i mean fundraising against ron desantis should be considered a fraud uh you're just taking people's
00:40:46.300 money uh but that took time and in arizona we we saw some stuff exactly it's basically on par with
00:40:54.460 what we saw in florida some of these white educated voters went to the democratic side and republicans
00:40:59.180 took all of the new arrivals and newly naturalized first generation hispanic workers which is what i've
00:41:04.700 told people you know that that they they i hear a lot about well voters from california and voters from
00:41:10.460 the northeast the truth is peter we've pulled this if they're first generation arizona uh or floridian
00:41:17.420 they came from those blue areas and did not bring their politics with them or at least they didn't
00:41:21.580 bring their state politics they're leaving there because they can't stay in those states anymore
00:41:26.540 so you know ted cruz held on in texas because of that voter um and the same thing by the way is was
00:41:33.580 is going eventually i believe to be true in arizona so all republicans will lose some of those phoenix
00:41:39.740 area educated whites um again there's so much in this poll if you look by generation the story
00:41:47.180 jumps right out at you it jumps right out at you and we saw the same thing with donald trump as well
00:41:52.220 we did which is why he did better than all those suggested talk to me down ballot now the the mark
00:41:59.820 fincham secretary of state race he's got a number of people he's running against he's the republican
00:42:05.580 he's on the war room all the time he's the guy who's been best on the uh the election integrity
00:42:11.500 issue on our side of the fence um where does he stand and on the dem side uh do they have a um
00:42:20.700 somebody who's got a lot of name id running with a lot of money or is that kind of a cipher race
00:42:25.980 we didn't yeah we didn't pull the secretary of state on the uh democratic side but we did we did
00:42:32.620 do the democratic primary with hobbs which was interesting uh very weak you know in the 50s
00:42:38.700 um and with uh one of the one of the gentlemen uh who aaron lieberman uh was running to be the first uh
00:42:46.220 jewish governor of arizona he withdrew but his name will still be on the ballot he still takes a chunk from
00:42:51.260 hobbs um and then marco's still taking about 15 so there's a huge number of undecideds on the
00:42:58.300 democratic side that are unhappy with their choices this year they don't like their they
00:43:02.860 like kelly better but they don't like the statewide uh candidates that are running so that
00:43:08.300 it shows you how hobbs is overstated she's overrated badly is is that an uh winner take all
00:43:15.900 racers will there be a runoff in the primaries um okay okay yes and there's a huge number of
00:43:28.540 undecided talking about 51 are are still undecided in the secretary of state's race but fincham does
00:43:36.300 have a lead he has about an eight point lead or nine excuse me nine he's got a nine point lead but uh
00:43:43.420 you know you're talking about 50 yeah i i think the 50 undecided is like 50 don't know who the hell's
00:43:51.900 running and probably won't won't vote in the uh down ballot right i mean that i don't know what the
00:43:56.940 drop-off is from governor and senator but i suspect that there's a lot of people who don't vote for
00:44:02.540 secretary of state a little bit a little bit of an undervote coming there folks yeah yeah uh and also
00:44:09.020 two could be huge if that rally come uh does happen because you know you're gonna have apparently
00:44:16.460 dueling brownies with mike pence wants to go out there and make trouble um you know if the president
00:44:21.580 does eventually go out there and give shout outs then those high turnout people they're gonna hear
00:44:26.380 that peter they're gonna i i don't i honestly i was as i'm polling and looking at these numbers
00:44:31.900 i don't know why the former vice president stepped up to embarrass himself here i don't
00:44:37.900 know why they did this they have to have the numbers we're seeing um you know to to enter you
00:44:43.820 know to get involved now with robeson they they're basically trying to master yano lake um it's not
00:44:50.140 going to work it's not going to work i'm telling you it's the georgia this is what i was worried about
00:44:56.300 it's the georgia formula and i think they could they could pull it off but but i i hope uh georgia
00:45:03.020 sui generis that it's just that it's just weird uh compared to some of these other areas um yeah
00:45:11.340 all right so we got we got about uh six minutes left here um what i'd like to do now is have you uh
00:45:19.420 take your best shots of of what you're seeing what's the latest breaking news um and and
00:45:26.380 also maybe comment on the ongoing uh soap opera on capitol hill is whether that's eroding uh trump
00:45:34.860 at all you know i i really don't i don't think it's touching him at all i mean people have to
00:45:41.740 understand you know a year ago two years ago let's say i would have been that guy and i was all through
00:45:47.820 2020 who simply said look the way that demographics are in this country now republicans are not going to
00:45:54.460 be able to win the popular vote so you know get ready to lean on the electoral college and that's
00:45:59.180 what it was put in place for by the way um but the fact is that the way that you know the census is
00:46:05.100 coming out it's going to back up what i'm saying it did the difference here is that the the former
00:46:11.020 president is winning voters that republicans didn't even have on the radar and he's changing the equation
00:46:17.100 so i'm stunned when i poll and he has these national leads folks that is not supposed to
00:46:22.780 happen for a republican candidate anymore and you know the truth is i think sometimes we forget
00:46:29.020 how uh the incredible feat that he pulled off winning michigan winning pennsylvania winning wisconsin
00:46:36.220 blowing out ohio and iowa that just never happens for republican it's just so we don't bury an
00:46:43.500 important yeah just so we don't bury an important point here what you're saying is that generally
00:46:49.100 people don't care about republicans win win republicans win the white house generally in the electoral
00:46:56.460 college by just the way that goes but they often lose a national vote what you're saying is trump's
00:47:02.940 winning the national vote as well yeah absolutely he would he would carry the popular vote at this point
00:47:09.740 which to me i would have told you two two years ago was impossible you know bush v gore wasn't a
00:47:15.340 fluke it wasn't a fluke it was part of a trend bush got lucky you know for and carried the popular vote
00:47:21.740 a little bit but that we were facing this disadvantage this built-in disadvantage but
00:47:27.260 that change in the hispanic vote peter is completely upending the equation it's it's you know and nobody
00:47:34.700 would have believed that demographics is destiny remember the blue emerging wall the emerging blue
00:47:39.100 majority sorry um that was supposed to be forever folks forever now let me put you let me uh let me
00:47:46.700 put you on the spot here um how many seats are the republicans gonna win net do you think in november
00:47:56.300 if any just in case you're you're you're pessimistic in the senate is it a gingrich thing
00:48:03.260 uh no in the house uh in the house is it um is it the 60 gingrich obama kind of kind of carnage is it
00:48:12.460 the 100 seat banning uh flood um is it is it 30 because of roe v wade uh what what what do you what's
00:48:21.580 your hand how you handicapping this um at this point in time yep historically republicans have a cap of
00:48:30.700 about 200 a little under 250 which is really i mean if you do the math it's 247 247 uh seats now
00:48:39.420 with redistricting you could push that cap a little bit so like 248 to 49 maybe 250 but you would have
00:48:46.540 to be running a good race and that's the problem peter that every time they look like they're going
00:48:51.740 to bust that cap they do something like sneaking amnesty and they they do something you know they're
00:48:57.020 dumb these are incredibly stupid people pass a gun bill i mean what people by the way when i said that
00:49:03.660 amnesty that that visa program was coming people thought i was like being a little hysterical and i
00:49:08.940 just know you know from hearing these guys and men girls all these years you know it when you hear
00:49:14.140 the whisper that they're about to do it they really are that dumb uh so you know they did uh it's just
00:49:20.620 incredible this is why i tell at this point you know i i'm not bearish i think that it's a foregone
00:49:27.180 conclusion that republicans are going to take the house i just think that all of the historical
00:49:31.820 indicators suggest a complete route something on you know on the level um of historic but that they're
00:49:40.300 not playing for that right now and i would i would argue and i've been saying this you know if the former
00:49:46.060 president doesn't intend to run again you should seriously consider waiting until after the midterm
00:49:51.260 because they're going to blame him peter if he announces a run in 2024 and they inevitably put
00:49:57.020 up mediocre numbers they're going to scapegoat in i've already heard several of them talk about that
