Based Camp - Why are Destiny's Controversies so Gross？

00:00:00.000 Hello, Simone. I'm excited to be here with you today. Today, we are going to be talking about

00:00:04.660 the Destiny controversy, but not from the normal angle, because that is not our profession with 0.98

00:00:09.840 this channel, it's taking up shit on people. And frankly, I found the actual dirt of the controversy, 0.89

00:00:16.220 while, you know, technically immoral, kind of mundane for the amount of uproar it's driven.

00:00:23.260 That's interesting. Okay.

00:00:25.160 And that led me, well, and more importantly to me, the emotions it drew in myself. And this is what

00:00:34.580 I wanted to focus on was this. Why did Destiny controversies, despite being otherwise mundane,

00:00:43.800 gross me out so much every time they happen? Join us as we explore the magical world of gross

00:00:49.900 progressive influencers.

00:00:55.160 It's a Monica Lewinsky thing. 1.00

00:01:16.200 No, it's not a Monica Lewinsky thing. Monica Lewinsky, everyone knew why Monica Lewinsky was 1.00

00:01:19.720 gross. Monica Lewinsky was gross because Monica Lewinsky was not an attractive woman. 1.00

00:01:22.980 No, no, no. But I mean, people freaked out about Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky because 0.65

00:01:27.320 it didn't fit the proper stereotype for that type of scandal. And perhaps this doesn't fit

00:01:33.940 the proper stereotype for this type of scandal.

00:01:36.720 Yeah. As we pointed out, like, if you look at the, whatever Trump's sex scandal, who is that?

00:01:42.000 Stormy Daniels.

00:01:43.340 Stormy Daniels. Nobody really cared about Stormy Daniels.

00:01:46.760 Because, of course, because, I mean, yeah, that's, presidents have affairs with, with famous 0.98

00:01:53.680 figures, porn, famous, famous sex symbols. Okay. 0.99

00:01:57.300 Nobody really cared about the, the, the Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe thing. Like, yes.

00:02:03.320 So, so that could be a part of this, but we'll get into that in a second. First, I want to go over,

00:02:07.600 because like, okay, just quickly go over the, like, logistics of what happened. Yeah. Cause I'm not

00:02:14.820 even super clear on, I just. And we actually are weirdly tied to this in a way. So we'll get into

00:02:20.000 that. I will note that like, we have like social ties to like destiny circle. I don't know him

00:02:25.760 personally. We like talked about wanting to do things together. I know that he's told other people

00:02:30.620 that we have talked about wanting to do things, but he's never gotten back to us. And if people know

00:02:35.500 things about me, there are, there are two key personality traits I have. One is that I am very

00:02:41.760 loyal. Somebody, especially somebody bigger than me does something for me. I really make a point of

00:02:46.240 remembering that. Then the second is that I am very, very arrogant. And whenever somebody doesn't

00:02:51.600 think I'm worse talking to, I become very irate. Had destiny not, not blown me off,

00:02:58.900 clicked on us and blown us off. We probably would be. No, I'm very loyal like that. I don't care if

00:03:05.400 he has different political beliefs or whatever. I wouldn't do that shit. Yeah. But too bad. 1.00

00:03:11.000 Not that we're big enough to matter to him. All right. So he was hitting on was in his discord,

00:03:15.940 what people call a discord bunny, or I guess like a random follower was in his community.

00:03:22.000 Okay. Apparently pretty well established in the community. And she was 19 years old and to hit on

00:03:27.300 her. Anyway, so he sent her a video of audio and video recordings of things he had done with other

00:03:35.560 girls. Ew. No. Oh, that's. Now my understanding. Oh, dick pics would be so much better than that.

00:03:42.700 That, that just, I don't. And this is where it gets grosser to me for whatever reason is it appears it 0.99

00:03:48.840 was of him going down on other girls. I think he was trying to prove to her that he could please

00:03:53.920 girls or like show like some of these it appears were recorded potentially without consent. Allegedly.

00:04:01.760 But the key one in the case was accorded. It appears with consent, but it's not a hundred percent yet.

00:04:08.600 Okay. That is, I've never heard of someone doing that before. I think typically

00:04:15.320 it's, it's, it's considered a really bad idea to even talk about your past relationships with a

00:04:24.700 prospective partner, right? Like if no one wants to hear about that or girls to guys,

00:04:29.900 and I understand that people say that works the other way, but it really doesn't. I've never

00:04:33.980 really had a problem, especially if you're showing the preponderance of women that are interested in

00:04:39.260 you with girls. A lot of girls find that a turn on. There was actually a great study about this

00:04:43.340 that showed that girls are like more likely to hit on married men or men with wedding rings and 1.00

00:04:47.420 then men without wedding rings. It's called the term I was thinking of is called pre-selection.

00:04:53.320 It means that some other woman has essentially pre-vetted a potential mate as a good candidate. 1.00

00:04:58.420 And when lots of women like a mate as a potential candidate, that's a sign that regardless of 1.00

00:05:03.500 anything else, even if you're unable to see why their genes of good, their genes are sort of being

00:05:07.420 proven as good within this environment. And you would want your sons to have those genes.

00:05:11.700 There is also a phenomenon called the wedding ring effect, which I talked about above.

00:05:15.760 I forget the concept. South Park does a thing on it, basically. The more girls who scream, 1.00

00:05:20.500 the more girls who scream. 1.00

00:05:21.420 Problem, Chef. I have many problems. I just don't know what I'm going to do.

00:05:25.420 Sometimes I wonder if God is just toying with me.

00:05:27.860 All right, Eric. What's the matter?

00:05:29.600 Chef, God told me I was to start a boy band and make $10 million. The problem is it isn't working.

00:05:33.920 Well, Eric, boy bands aren't about music. Boy bands are created by corporations to make money.

00:05:39.260 They're all based on the Gomelich effect. The law of physics that states if one girl screams 0.92

00:05:43.920 for something, it will make other girls scream. And then it grows exponentially until all girls 0.97

00:05:49.300 within a five-mile radius of screaming. All they do is make videos showing tons and tons

00:05:54.140 of girls screaming for the boy bands. Once you get girls screaming, you can't stop them.

00:05:58.680 They're crazy.

00:05:59.680 And a cucumber in the past never hurt either. 0.94

00:06:02.200 Cucumber in the past. Got it.

00:06:03.600 When you see us, you girls all scream like, 0.98

00:06:05.200 Oh my God, it's finger ping. Oh my God.

00:06:07.060 Okay. Fine. Who would you go crazy for?

00:06:10.180 Matt Lauer.

00:06:12.180 Okay, fine. Pretend that we're Matt Lauer.

00:06:14.000 Oh, okay.

00:06:14.880 Okay, roll camera.

00:06:15.840 Dimmer!

00:06:20.080 Jesus Christ!

00:06:21.460 But it means that when girls see other girls interested in you, they are more interested in you.

00:06:25.940 And there's ways that you can prove this was various forms of social proof, etc.

00:06:29.060 So you think he was trying to do that?

00:06:31.980 I think he was trying to show that he was good at giving, going down on girl. I don't see anything

00:06:38.460 other than that. I think that's what it was. One of the girls in this is somebody that he had

00:06:42.580 gotten with a few years ago when she, it turns out, was also 19.

00:06:45.820 Keeping in mind, Destiny is 36 and has a kid. Okay. And it's bad to, you know, record things and then share them with other people.

00:06:57.340 But in the context, he had shared it with somebody who he thought he had a good relationship with.

00:07:02.140 And, well, he had talked with him at least a few times and wasn't going to go out and share it.

00:07:06.360 It seems pretty clear to me that his intention was not to leak this.

00:07:09.720 It's a very serious negative repercussions on his career, on his relationships.

00:07:13.040 It was not his intention. The person who is complaining about all this says it was his intention.

00:07:18.700 I can see how he thought, well, nobody hears about it. It's not unethical, right?

00:07:24.140 I don't agree with this. Like, I think it is clearly an unethical boundary violation thing.

00:07:29.320 But if, like, if anyone took intimate video, audio, or images of me and then shared them with someone else without my consent,

00:07:39.260 I would be incensed. That's a huge violation.

00:07:43.780 I understand, Simone. But again, like, I look at the – these are people hooking up with the famous, you know, streamer, like –

00:07:51.720 You're kind of saying, like, what do you expect?

00:07:54.160 What do you expect? You know, one who, you know, had had allegations of doing this in the past.

00:07:59.360 And it came out quickly, in this case, it's had a history of recording and sharing these recordings, you know,

00:08:05.300 and had other people warning people that he had been recording.

00:08:07.900 And then he said, no, I didn't do that.

00:08:09.400 And by the way, about the 19-year-old thing, I'll play a clip right here from Destiny about what he thinks about 19-year-olds and their mental acuity.

00:08:16.400 Now, if you're 22, a 19-year-old's not a kid to you, okay? I'm 29. A 19-year-old might as well be a 15-year-old to me.

00:08:25.220 It's all the fucking same, dude. 0.99

00:08:26.780 I have about as much in common with, like, an 18-year-old, 19-year-old fucking freshman in school as I would a fucking sophomore in high school. 0.99

00:08:33.740 Any type of inclination towards any of those people is really fucking weird. 0.98

00:08:38.000 Oh, that's – that came out bad later. 0.98

00:08:42.240 Yes, that came out bad later. And here's one about him on sharing videos of other people, what he thinks of people who do that.

00:08:49.220 You just don't see the huge difference between, like, sex and nudes. 0.99

00:08:52.040 Like, you're leaking, like, personal, like, sexual shit that somebody sent you and, like, trusted you with. 1.00

00:08:55.940 In my opinion, this is, like, one of the biggest forms of, like, weird, like, backstabbing shit that you can do. 1.00

00:09:00.040 It's, like, one of the worst things a person can do is, like, leaking, like, private sexual shit. 1.00

00:09:02.800 Again, not positive. 0.99

00:09:03.720 I wonder when our own statements will be used out of context against us like this.

00:09:08.180 No, these are not out-of-context statements.

00:09:09.900 These are in-in-context statements.

00:09:13.280 But the point here being is I was really surprised by, like – because this isn't, like – like, there are, like, so many times where somebody is, like, griefing on, like, genuine minors or, like, age gap relationships and stuff.

00:09:26.340 I'm like, whatever.

00:09:27.220 Like, you know, it can be weird in some circumstances, but whatever.

00:09:31.600 Historically, they were pretty normal.

00:09:32.920 I guess right here I am a bit biased at the moment because I've been reading a lot of history about one of my ancestors, John Knox, who multiple times when he was older got married to a 17-year-old.

00:09:43.460 In both of those marriages, it appeared the women were very, very happy.

00:09:47.980 And since I'm descended from one of those, I have to have a thing about, well, I mean, maybe not always are they the worst.

00:09:55.160 But in a modern context, a 17-year-old, that's young, I guess.

00:09:58.040 So I should say, okay, in a modern context, age gap relationships might be a problem.

00:10:02.180 But why did I react that way with something I'm reflecting on?

00:10:04.720 And then I reflected on it with the last Destiny scandal.

00:10:08.780 What was the last Destiny scandal?

00:10:10.580 Oh, the cucking scandal where he let his wife sleep with other men and appeared to be into it at times.

00:10:18.420 And eventually his wife left him for one of the men that she was sleeping with and then started demanding money from him in like a really, honestly to me, skeezy way.

00:10:28.500 I kind of feel like almost he's been victimized in that regards.

00:10:31.120 And then part of this to me is almost sort of mitigated because Destiny is like an active, actively like into dudes.

00:10:38.440 As he has said before, he likes S-ing D and F-ing F-ing F-ing boys.

00:10:46.180 So, you know. 0.97

00:10:47.160 I mean, he then sounds like someone who's just very in touch with his sexuality.

00:10:52.240 He knows what he likes.

00:10:52.740 I mean, he's like in touch with his, in touch, you know, good trying to phrase there.

00:10:56.540 I don't know, I would say he's very hyper-sexualized right now, which is odd for this stage of his life and being a dad, I'm going to be honest.

00:11:03.220 And we can go over to, if we want to go over like a long tweet thing that he did like just last Valentine's Day, he can be like, this is the type of degeneracy he's getting into these days.

00:11:11.240 I was like, why am I responding so like ick to him and like low ick to say Trump's stuff, right?

00:11:18.520 And I think that this is why the Dems tried to get him so hard with the pee tapes because that could have caused an ick response, but they never could get, I think, a lot of people to believe in that.

00:11:29.020 They were just like, this seems obviously fake.

00:11:30.840 And I was trying to think of other celebrities that have given me this ick response.

00:11:34.180 And I was like, you know, is actually Louis C.K. in the like public masturbation thing? 0.89

00:11:39.720 So I want to get to trying to like correlate what causes this ick response in the general public or in me specifically around certain, because like the Louis C.K. one again, maybe like not the worst thing in the world.

00:11:51.220 But like it caused a much grosser response to me than like Trump barging into like women at the pageant where he was owning the pageants, like dressing rooms, right?

00:12:02.240 Right.

00:12:04.100 So we'll get into that.

00:12:06.040 And then I want to get into, and it's not due to liking them, I should say.

00:12:09.720 I actually was pretty against Trump the first time he ran.

00:12:13.720 Simone, you remember that.

00:12:14.600 I was on J.D. Vance's side.

00:12:15.760 But I was the, you know, I wouldn't say never Trumper, but I definitely had a lot of resistance to him as a human being.

00:12:20.800 I did not think that he could be a good president.

00:12:22.720 I didn't think he was mentally stable.

00:12:24.140 But I did not have an ick response to the dressing room story when it came out.

00:12:28.280 I was just like, okay.

00:12:30.620 You know, imperv, right?

00:12:33.620 But before I get to there, I want to read a quote that I thought was really interesting.

00:12:36.880 Because people who don't know this, Destiny's a progressive streamer, right?

00:12:40.980 And this is of one of his fans, one of the tops of the Reddit threads about this.

00:12:46.240 It's probably over unless the outcome is him being completely vindicated of all wrongdoing, which is unlikely at this point.

00:12:53.900 It's Jover.

00:12:55.400 Almost all orbiters have cut loose and drifted off into space.

00:13:00.100 Nobody will take him seriously in politics now.

00:13:02.680 The momentum he has built for years is gone.

00:13:05.060 I'm just so disappointed.

00:13:07.200 This is the first creator I've been a super fan of that has nuked their career like this and it hurts.

00:13:12.620 I don't even know what to do now.

00:13:14.540 I've been watching him for years now.

00:13:16.140 And what?

00:13:16.920 Who else on the left is even worse watching?

00:13:19.480 Pacman?

00:13:20.340 Sweet guy, but he's boring.

00:13:22.480 Dylan Burns?

00:13:23.640 Sure, I guess.

00:13:24.960 But only after the Ukrainian docs.

00:13:27.400 TYT Vosh? 0.96

00:13:29.000 Hassan?

00:13:30.000 Kalaisky? 0.97

00:13:30.820 Hell no to all four.

00:13:32.340 The online left has nothing to offer me now.

00:13:35.680 Maybe I'm wrong and there's some sane liberal media figures who bring the same spice destiny had done. 0.96

00:13:42.200 But I haven't seen them.

00:13:44.320 Probably just going to quit paying attention to politics now.

00:13:47.200 I don't care anymore.

00:13:48.320 The world will burn under Trumpism and there will be no force of truth left to stand against it. 0.99

00:13:52.660 Because the best the left can offer are apparently sex pests, cringe woke scolds, and champagne socialists. 0.99

00:13:59.380 We are doomed. 0.99

00:14:01.000 All I can do is avert my eyes and retreat into my own life. 1.00

00:14:04.800 This just fucking sucks. 0.99

00:14:07.340 And I think that this is actually a really good point before we go further into this. 0.99

00:14:10.540 Which is, this is a critical time for this to happen at the left.

00:14:13.940 Yeah, well, I would argue that there still is.

00:14:16.900 I would say the A Little Bit Fruity podcast with Matt Bernstein is great.

00:14:21.180 I think that it's well done.

00:14:23.340 His takes are entertaining.

00:14:24.600 He does talk about news and politics.

00:14:26.600 So...

00:14:27.160 Is he like a rabid anti-Trumpist, though?

00:14:29.340 Yeah. 1.00

00:14:30.020 Yeah, he's a gay leftist. 0.97

00:14:33.800 He has on guests, like... 0.96

00:14:35.620 And just, like, very, very progressive media figures.

00:14:38.560 You could watch Tracy Woodgrain's stuff on Substack.

00:14:41.180 That's pretty good.

00:14:42.040 Yeah, but no, Tracy is considered, like, center-right. 0.99

00:14:45.740 Tracy is not center-right.

00:14:48.240 Tracy is very much on the left.

00:14:50.560 Right, but by the left, he would be...

00:14:52.760 By the left, he would be considered center-right.

00:14:55.740 I'm talking about people who...

00:14:57.100 I'm sorry, Simone.

00:14:58.400 You've actually got to really worry yourself about succumbing to this terrorism.

00:15:02.500 There is a terrorism on the left where they try to attack left-centrists, as they did with

00:15:09.680 destiny.

00:15:10.320 If you ask a leftist, if you ask Hassan, he's going to say destiny is center-right.

00:15:14.660 They say this about every leftist who is at all open to outside ideas, open to debating

00:15:20.540 rightists, open to anything like that.

00:15:23.000 When you, even on the right, are succumbing to this, Simone, what you do is...

00:15:27.080 One, pollute the right. 0.59

00:15:28.260 And two, give these people the ability to hold the left hostage.

00:15:35.600 Tracy Woodgrain votes leftists.

00:15:37.820 He considers himself leftists.

00:15:39.480 And more than that, his opinions align with around the center margin of leftist opinions

00:15:44.640 right now, if you look at voting patterns.

00:15:46.080 Or polling.

00:15:47.680 Oh.

00:15:48.760 Yeah.

00:15:49.760 No, I mean, yeah, I think he leans...

00:15:53.780 You might be surprised of the percent of lefty voters who are trans-skeptical at this

00:15:58.340 point.

00:15:59.680 No, I agree with you.

00:16:01.480 I'm just saying, one, this guy's wrong about good leftist podcasts slash media figures.

00:16:07.140 I disagree entirely.

00:16:08.660 I mean, you know this one guy who I've never heard of.

00:16:11.500 I know all the people...

00:16:12.080 Yeah, because you live in an echo chamber.

00:16:15.060 How many followers does he have?

00:16:16.440 What was his name?

00:16:17.520 He's like 189K subscribers, Simone.

00:16:22.000 Yes.

00:16:23.400 But you've got to start somewhere.

00:16:25.940 Well, no, you've got to start somewhere.

00:16:27.040 It's more than we have.

00:16:28.400 The point I'm making, Simone...

00:16:31.340 And hold on, hold on.

00:16:33.020 I'll check his videos.

00:16:34.020 How do they do?

00:16:34.500 Yeah, they do pretty well, actually.

00:16:36.000 They're like...

00:16:36.520 Yeah.

00:16:37.120 How did Elon Musk get like this?

00:16:39.220 264K views.

00:16:40.400 The tech bro...

00:16:41.160 He's getting about a quarter million per video.

00:16:42.840 He's up for them.

00:16:43.520 162K views.

00:16:45.500 Blake Lively and the Amber Heard effect.

00:16:48.000 164K views.

00:16:48.980 The cult of Stan culture.

00:16:51.260 160K views.

00:16:52.760 He has people on, like, contrapoints.

00:16:54.420 I mean, he's...

00:16:55.060 Yeah.

00:16:55.320 Like I'm saying, there are places that leftists can go for commentary.

00:17:00.460 But I also agree with you that, yes, this is not a great time.

00:17:04.500 For center-left-leaning figures to start dropping...

00:17:09.260 Well, not just that, but the center-left figure who they had planned to be the Joe Rogan of the left.

00:17:13.600 Because that's what everyone said.

00:17:14.720 Oh, yeah.

00:17:15.160 Well, yeah.

00:17:15.800 Well, no, that whole discussion is over.

00:17:18.160 Everyone agrees.

00:17:19.220 Obviously, Joe Rogan was the Joe Rogan of the left.

00:17:22.220 Until the left just shoved Joe Rogan into the right.

00:17:25.200 Which is what's happening with basically anyone who survives and ends up being cool.

00:17:29.180 Just is like, all right, well, I guess I'm kind of hanging out toward the right.

00:17:34.620 There's this weird bastion of the right that's left, like the blocked and reported podcast, where they've kind of been shoved to the right by the left.

00:17:43.420 But they still refuse to embrace the right.

00:17:47.640 Like, they're still very, very unhappy that Trump was elected, as is most of their audience.

00:17:52.340 So I think that's really interesting that there's this weird, within, like, the heterodox world, the, like, not perfectly left world.

00:18:01.280 It's like, well, okay, I understand that the left hates me and sees me as evil.

00:18:04.900 But at the same time, I hate the right.

00:18:08.500 It's really weird.

00:18:09.840 Like, they can't let go of it.

00:18:11.160 No, it's like they haven't woken up yet.

00:18:13.200 You look at the others, like the free press, who have become, like, Trump's biggest fans.

00:18:16.980 Yeah, yeah.

00:18:17.680 They absolutely love Trump.

00:18:19.760 And, yeah.

00:18:20.240 But it is really interesting that you can, one, become hated by the left actively.

00:18:25.440 And people like Jesse Single have, like, you know, Blue Sky wanting him dead, you know.

00:18:28.880 But he can't let go of his hatred of the, like, his bias of the right is still so strong that he can't let it go.

00:18:36.720 Even though he's now, like, subject to the same prejudice that figures on the right are in the, he doesn't seem to realize that maybe many of these people are still quite, you know, framed poorly.

00:18:50.140 Or he chooses to think of, like, I don't know, misinterpret what they're saying.

00:18:55.560 I'm not sure.

00:18:56.580 It's just, it's very strange to me.

00:18:58.100 Well, no, I mean, I think that they're still in the cult.

00:19:00.820 They've just been considered persona non grata.

00:19:03.260 They're one of those people who's been, like, kicked out of a religion and, like, their religion has done all sorts of terrible stuff. 0.99

00:19:07.440 But they're like, yeah, but I still believe.

00:19:08.760 It's just, like, the current cult leader or whatever is a bad guy.

00:19:11.620 And you're like, no, you really should try to deprogram a bit here, buddy, before you move on with your life.

00:19:17.100 But one of the fun things about this, so there's a few fun things about this.

00:19:22.420 The first is that the girl whose sex tape that he leaked, the one at the center of this, was actually, her core thing was in the Destiny community was sort of as a proof point that you didn't need to give Destiny sexual favors if you were a girl and going to be active or prominent within his community.

00:19:39.100 Well, didn't she technically receive the sexual favor?

00:19:42.520 Whatever.

00:19:43.160 The point is, is that is why it was so reputationally damaging or part of why it was so reputationally damaging to her.

00:19:51.180 Because everyone thought they had not been intimate at all.

00:19:53.720 And clearly they had been.

00:19:54.860 And he was still favoring her and bringing her on stuff.

00:19:58.100 And so.

00:19:58.440 Oh.

00:19:58.500 No, it just makes it look like any girl who's around Destiny, you can really only get around him by sexual favors.

00:20:06.560 Which is deeply unfortunate.

00:20:08.640 Yeah.

00:20:09.200 Yeah.

00:20:09.460 The next one, which is really fun for me, is the guy who leaked all of this.

00:20:15.120 Because this wasn't intended to be leaked.

00:20:17.480 Like, the girl who got this was like, this is bad.

00:20:20.000 I want to tell the girls who are in this that they're in it.

00:20:22.520 But I don't want this to get public.

00:20:24.060 Like, the guy who made this public and then has leaked further things about this is a guy called President Sunday.

00:20:31.260 That's fun.

00:20:32.440 So, I go to his YouTube channel after this.

00:20:35.460 Because I'm like, okay, who is this guy, right?

00:20:37.160 He's got 5.2 thousand subscribers.

00:20:39.040 So, you know, very small.

00:20:40.900 And one of the most recent videos was 5,000 views.

00:20:44.760 It was about us.

00:20:46.320 What?

00:20:47.160 It was, what I do appreciate about him is it was on our One Civilization video.

00:20:53.360 Oh, that would make you so delighted.

00:20:55.580 We are most controversial video.

00:20:57.380 And so many people, when they do videos on us, it's like on non-controversial ones.

00:21:01.120 Like, we had the people who tried to do a takedown on us for our, like, consent video.

00:21:04.800 And I'm like, come on, that's nothing.

00:21:06.900 That's nothing.

00:21:07.800 But the One Civilization video, that one is spice.

00:21:11.920 For people who haven't seen that, like, if you're new to the channel, like, that's like one of the key videos on the channel, I guess I'd say.

00:21:17.020 Where we argue that it appears that one civilization jumped from culture to culture, exhausting it, then moving to the next culture.

00:21:24.240 But was, like, 500 to 1,000 years before the rest of the world and almost everything from technology to infrastructure to art to literature.

00:21:32.380 And this went from ancient Egypt to Mesopotamia to ancient Greece to ancient Rome to Charlemagne to Britain to the world.

00:21:40.200 It was very offensive.

00:21:42.760 But we bring a lot of receipts in this video.

00:21:44.520 It was one of the most researched videos we've ever done for the channel.

00:21:47.620 And people who were like, why don't you do more videos like that?

00:21:49.520 And I'm like, because it took me, like, three weeks to do.

00:21:52.200 It was the same with, like, our recent track video that, like, nobody watches.

00:21:54.840 Where I, like, diligently go through every part of the Bible.

00:21:57.940 And it's like, why don't you do, nobody watches this.

00:22:01.360 You know, I try to put a lot of effort in, but nobody cares. 0.94

00:22:04.800 If you're wondering what his core take on our One Civilization video was, it was so astonishingly dumb. 0.92

00:22:09.900 I don't even know how to reply. 0.53

00:22:11.800 He kept going, like, when I was like, okay, so Rome had this ancient vast complex in Britain.

00:22:18.300 Like, what did Britain do since then?

00:22:20.260 How long before they could build great buildings like this again?

00:22:23.220 And he goes, well, didn't Britain build things like the London Eye?

00:22:26.200 That's the giant Ferris wheel thing in the center of London that was built, like, I don't know, 20, 30 years ago.

00:22:32.740 Whenever we would mention something, he would then mention some piece of architecture or literature

00:22:37.460 from literally tens of thousands of years later as, like, a complete comparable.

00:22:43.280 It's like, well, yes, the ancient Greeks could build statues like this in, you know, 500 BC.

00:22:49.680 But how is that any different from the Japanese doing it in 2023? 0.58

00:22:54.520 It's like, well, I, I, I, I, what, what, what?

00:23:01.800 The video is an exploration of how and why history developed and develops as it does going forwards,

00:23:08.800 which is, like, do you lack any curiosity into history or the way the world is or why the world works the way it does?

00:23:18.140 Or do you just take, like, the standard narrative from leftists and then swallow it whole?

00:23:25.600 Like, yum, yum, yum.

00:23:27.080 This guy also hates Rubiard and just does, like, every other video is about how much he hates Rubiard,

00:23:33.060 which is just a sign of his bad character.

00:23:36.660 I would say, I do think it's funny that, like, our crazy recent track video, track nine,

00:23:41.560 could be seen as, you know, I mentioned it as, like, our Rubiard moment in terms of going crazy,

00:23:46.400 but we go crazy in literally, like, exactly the opposite way along every metric.

00:23:52.000 You know, he's like, oh, Odin, like, oh, you know, the old, I'm like, no, Christianity is the only way to do it. 0.96

00:23:56.780 All paganism must be removed. 0.96

00:23:58.720 He's like, well, I'm getting these, like, vibes from the universe.

00:24:01.160 I'm like, okay, we need to, like, a word puzzle, go through every line in the Bible.

00:24:05.100 Okay, grammar check, alternate grammar check.

00:24:07.360 Where is this used in other locations?

00:24:09.560 So I just love the difference in our types of crazy, which I think it helps you.

00:24:13.640 You know, if you listen to people with different types of crazy,

00:24:16.040 you're going to eventually hear some ideas you wouldn't have heard of from your not crazy friends,

00:24:20.900 as long as they're somehow still attached to reality.

00:24:24.840 So anyway, this guy is doing videos on us, which made me really excited.

00:24:28.880 Very flattering.

00:24:29.540 Super cool, even though he probably hates us, I'm sure.

00:24:32.920 Oh, no, he hates that you have the video.

00:24:35.060 I love it.

00:24:35.360 He's like, why does she have an infant in the video?

00:24:37.520 And I'm like, are you, like, against working moms, Mr. Lefty here?

00:24:41.100 Yeah, where do you want me to, should the infant be crying and alone in another room?

00:24:45.380 Should I be, you know, wealthier than we are in, like, paying someone to watch the infant?

00:24:50.620 Like, I don't.

00:24:52.580 Everyone must keep their child in a box or have a staff of full-time nannies. 0.99

00:24:57.620 Yeah.

00:24:57.840 Or the women must know their limits and stay in the bedroom where they belong, even though you're in the bedroom right now. 1.00

00:25:04.820 People gotta be reasonable, man.

00:25:08.200 Yeah, but they just aren't.

00:25:09.280 You know, lefties are never reasonable.

00:25:10.640 And it's so funny when righties, like, criticize people, it's always like, okay, like, me with Destiny, I'm like, well, you know, this was bad.

00:25:16.720 But, and I will also say one of the things before I go further with the Destiny thing is his age, to me, makes this significantly worse.

00:25:24.020 Not because he's whiz younger girls here.

00:25:25.960 There are people who are way older who also have issues with their sex drive being way higher than it has any need to be.

00:25:32.260 Right.

00:25:32.960 My point being is he, like, when a young guy, like, for example, if Rubyard got caught in some sort of a sex thing, I'd be like, whatever.

00:25:40.680 Yeah, he's in his 20s.

00:25:41.760 It's gonna happen.

00:25:42.280 He's in his 20s.

00:25:42.940 If I was famous in my 20s, I would have done so much worse stuff than this.

00:25:48.860 And I knew this without any, like, as an adult, I try to be, like, a goblin slayer.

00:25:58.040 Like, that's the way I try to approach life.

00:26:00.300 As a kid, I was a Ruby.

00:26:02.520 I was thinking Rudius Greyrat from Jobless Reincarnation.

00:26:05.920 But he's the worst.

00:26:07.060 But anyway, so to go further here, the question is why?

00:26:10.720 Why the disgust reaction?

00:26:12.940 My initial hypothesis is that there is a gross reaction towards males in dominant positions within society and wide sexual access acting submissively.

00:26:30.280 Oh, I see.

00:26:32.860 Well, I don't know, but hold on, though.

00:26:35.660 So here's actually a really good, like, recent additional sexual scandal that's happening at roughly the same time, which is with Neil Gaiman, the famous author, you know, who wrote great, great stuff.

00:26:47.600 And I still love him, just to say, you know, but he got in trouble for sexual misconduct with, like, nannies and stuff.

00:26:54.300 And in this case, it was sexual misconduct.

00:26:56.960 I've heard about the story.

00:26:58.080 I haven't heard anything that incriminating.

00:26:59.580 He was BDSM-y and he was Domi, but he's still getting a lot of...

00:27:03.940 Why?

00:27:05.580 What specifically rule did he break?

00:27:07.680 As you've all seen on the news, our country is facing a major crisis.

00:27:11.640 Why? 0.96

00:27:12.500 Why are rich, successful men suddenly going out and trying to have sex with lots of women?

00:27:17.240 Why would a man who's famous and makes tons of money use that to try and have sex with lots of different women?

00:27:23.480 And these rich celebrities have perfectly good wives at home. 1.00

00:27:28.560 Why would they even think of sex with others? 1.00

00:27:30.820 Damn it! 1.00

00:27:32.600 I want answers! 1.00

00:27:34.800 Of course, we all know the normal healthy male thinks only of sex occasionally and has no desire for sex with multiple partners.

00:27:41.600 You're absolutely right, of course.

00:27:43.080 Definitely true.

00:27:44.080 Yes, we all know that.

00:27:44.940 Go on.

00:27:45.360 I'd note here that as I dig into it more, some people are claiming that there was a lack of consent, but these stories are not.

00:27:53.480 are very old, like ones from 2007.

00:27:57.100 So it could very well be true, given his power.

00:28:01.140 I would probably be afraid of going up against him, but I'm not going to just immediately believe anyone who accuses the famous person at this point.

00:28:07.340 So that might be a story for another time.

00:28:10.340 How dare he, you know...

00:28:12.460 I mean, some people seem just kind of creepy. 0.98

00:28:14.340 Like, at one point, I think he had sex with a nanny with his son in the same room, just watching an iPad.

00:28:19.300 But, like, I feel like people are still freaking out about him, even though he's acting in accordance with typical stereotypes. 0.75

00:28:28.760 You know, he was playing the dominant role.

00:28:30.860 He was sleeping with, you know, nannies. 0.99

00:28:33.640 Like, oh, the classic stereotypes.

00:28:35.660 That sounds like classic stuff.

00:28:37.260 That doesn't sound like...

00:28:37.580 People are still freaking out.

00:28:38.760 That's why I'm like, you know, maybe this isn't just about him bucking that.

00:28:44.180 I mean, for you, maybe it's uniquely disgusting because he is acting in a sub-y... 0.99

00:28:49.360 Well, I wonder if the Neil Gaiman one...

00:28:51.100 This is what I've seen about the Neil Gaiman one, okay?

00:28:53.620 Okay.

00:28:53.920 So, I actually think that the Neil Gaiman one is different.

00:28:56.860 I don't think he's actually losing about his sexual stuff in the court of public opinion.

00:29:01.960 I think the reason Neil Gaiman is falling apart right now is because he so gleefully supported cancel culture.

00:29:12.460 Did he?

00:29:12.940 Yes, he did.

00:29:13.740 He was a very big proponent of cancel culture.

00:29:16.140 He tried to have other people's canceled.

00:29:17.880 He...

00:29:18.060 Even for sexual stuff.

00:29:20.260 Like, this sort of stuff.

00:29:21.680 I didn't know that.

00:29:22.700 That's why this is happening.

00:29:23.700 Okay, okay, okay.

00:29:24.760 That would explain that then, yeah.

00:29:26.680 How dare you?

00:29:27.780 Also, it's a Hollywood problem, which is...

00:29:30.860 The Hollywood problem is that it doesn't matter what.

00:29:34.080 If they feel like canceling someone today, they're going to cancel someone today.

00:29:37.480 Whereas as, like, YouTubers, I think it's a little harder to get randomly canceled like this.

00:29:42.520 Especially with Destiny's following.

00:29:44.540 Like, wasn't Destiny the one who had, like, porn on his computer that one time?

00:29:48.940 I was kind of mad at engaging with Destiny's content.

00:29:53.700 But it's not exactly, like...

00:29:55.860 I find it incredibly boring.

00:29:58.320 Yeah.

00:29:59.160 The only Destiny content I've watched is just content that has other people that I really like.

00:30:05.020 And I probably now don't want to be associated with him, so...

00:30:08.780 Well, so do you not have that reaction?

00:30:10.400 When you hear the Neil Gaiman thing, you were like, it doesn't make me think less of him.

00:30:13.740 Yeah, I'm like, fine.

00:30:16.140 I mean, I think less of him now, if what you say is true, then he...

00:30:20.000 Yeah, that makes anything like the other stuff.

00:30:21.840 That makes...

00:30:22.320 Yeah, but, like, him...

00:30:23.920 Yeah, I guess, you know, leveraging his status is a very, you know, wealthy, powerful man.

00:30:27.900 Yeah, here's, like, he leveraged them with status.

00:30:29.800 In a dominant position.

00:30:31.200 Yeah, I mean, it's...

00:30:32.540 He made them call him master.

00:30:33.360 Little women were like, how dare he, you know, as a more powerful man, take advantage of these young women and be in dominant positions. 1.00

00:30:40.720 And I'm like, dude, you're...

00:30:42.280 Fifty Shades of Grey, man.

00:30:43.340 Like, this is a very common female fantasy.

00:30:45.480 This is like...

00:30:45.940 No, Neil Gaiman is, like, literal Fifty Shades of Grey.

00:30:48.120 Like, he's, like...

00:30:48.900 Yeah, like, the scenario of quote-unquote abuse that you're describing here is, like, the plot line of, you know, 93% of all romance novels.

00:30:58.800 I really don't see the problem here.

00:31:00.780 You know, people may be retroactively deciding that it wasn't great for them, and that's a product of our culture.

00:31:06.800 Not really anything that I think he did wrong.

00:31:09.480 However, yeah, this is different.

00:31:12.500 What's happening here, actually, with Destiny is decidedly not.

00:31:17.780 It's women's fantasy. 1.00

00:31:19.400 I guess it is very popular for women to like guys going down on them. 0.98

00:31:25.040 I am, I guess, in the minority that really finds that extremely immersive.

00:31:29.200 It's not that popular.

00:31:30.560 It shows up a lot.

00:31:31.780 Here's my problem is, I haven't, like, checked in on what's popular for over a year now on Gone Wild Audio, but, like, a really big problem.

00:31:40.480 I show up a lot in women's porn, actually. 1.00

00:31:41.940 You're right about that.

00:31:42.260 Yeah, and it is so, like, if it's a major turnoff to you, and you're just, like, going through, and then it comes up, you're just, like, all of a sudden, like, trigger warning, please.

00:31:53.520 Like, why is that here?

00:31:55.080 Just don't. 0.63

00:31:55.900 But, yeah, I mean, maybe that's another issue, is what's going on here with women and Destiny really kind of fucks the female fantasy. 1.00

00:32:07.420 This is not, this is not out of a fantasy novel at all.

00:32:12.020 Yeah.

00:32:13.760 Yeah.

00:32:14.240 Well, okay, so here's another thing we can, we can talk about, is, is when is our buck going to come home on, on, on controversy?

00:32:21.280 I will say, if people are, like, and this is, like, perving on people on Discord and stuff like that.

00:32:26.620 Like, apparently he does.

00:32:27.540 Like, even has, like, a not-safe warning Discord just to, like, perv on people.

00:32:30.560 Where I'm, like, people are, like, oh, Malcolm, you know, you might do that if you were ever drunk on Discord.

00:32:36.620 And, and one of the, one of the funny things was recently on a Discord, I was talking at night, and so he was, like, you know, if it's nighttime, he's probably drunk.

00:32:44.200 And I'm, like, yes, that is true.

00:32:45.420 If I am talking on Discord at night, I am 100% drunk. 0.53

00:32:48.780 But also, like, you, you find, like, live action porn to be actively disgusting.

00:32:55.040 So, like, they do that you would request nudes from someone.

00:32:58.800 I definitely wouldn't request nudes.

00:32:59.920 Well, but I, I don't know.

00:33:01.320 Like, if somebody was, like, hitting on me or something, or, like, told me they were interested.

00:33:06.120 If anything, it would turn you on because of the fact that they sent you nudes.

00:33:09.780 But you probably wouldn't open the image file aside to, like, verify that they did.

00:33:14.220 Probably.

00:33:14.880 I'd be like, hey.

00:33:15.400 I think, but merely the fact that they, that they would do that would be the thing that would turn you on.

00:33:22.040 I'll actually take it back.

00:33:23.160 If you died and I had to find a new wife, I can definitely see myself, like, 0.99

00:33:28.160 accidentally stepping on some bombshells in terms of hitting on fans. 0.71

00:33:33.060 I guess I better not die.

00:33:35.380 Yeah.

00:33:35.860 You protect me from a lot of sexual scandals, Simone.

00:33:39.780 Maybe we need to set up some kind of AI version of me that will, like, personally select and vet your future wife. 0.99

00:33:47.460 And then you just have to go with whatever AI Simone Simone selects.

00:33:51.660 Yeah.

00:33:52.020 Be like, Simone has chosen your wife.

00:33:54.460 You almost listened to her.

00:33:55.560 But talk that Mormon story where one Mormon wife did that. 1.00

00:33:59.340 I think this has happened a couple of times.

00:34:01.000 Yeah.

00:34:01.160 There was at least one Mormon wife story we heard where, like, a one.

00:34:05.040 Because per Mormon understandings of how kind of death works, you don't get to go to heaven and live together forever with your husband. 0.56

00:34:15.560 And just your husband, if you're a wife and you die before him and then he remarries.

00:34:20.500 You're going to have to live with his second wife, too. 1.00

00:34:23.140 So this one wife gets terminally ill and she says to her husband, like, listen, man, like, this isn't just for you.

00:34:30.480 If I have to live with this woman in all eternity, I get to choose your next wife. 1.00

00:34:33.980 Which is more than me.

00:34:35.160 Yeah.

00:34:35.420 So she did.

00:34:36.700 And they got married and it was great.

00:34:38.100 And I think it's very nice, you know, that the, you know, wife number two got her blessing.

00:34:42.480 More explicitly, she got on a pre-selected list.

00:34:44.860 And he had to choose somebody.

00:34:46.180 Sister wives in heaven.

00:34:47.680 And that's nice.

00:34:48.900 Well, okay.

00:34:49.680 I'm trying to think of, like, other potential.

00:34:51.320 I think one of the interesting things as well in terms of, like, us knowing a lot of celebrity type people, some been on the show, some haven't been on the show, is if you hang out with them, you get a really clear picture really quickly what sort of scandals they might get involved in.

00:35:07.880 Huh.

00:35:09.400 And I think.

00:35:09.880 I guess I don't.

00:35:10.860 I always assume the very best of everyone.

00:35:13.920 And I don't assume that anyone has ever done anything wrong.

00:35:15.940 Well, no, okay, but we just, the problem is, is the types of celebrity types that we hang out with just wouldn't do something like that.

00:35:25.380 Their scandals would be very limited.

00:35:28.360 So, obviously, the most potentially scandal prone from the perspective of other people would be Ayla.

00:35:34.320 Ayla would never get into a scandal where she, it was shown that she had intentionally wronged anyone. 0.80

00:35:39.740 The underrated thing about Ayla is that she is actually one of the most pure and wholesome people in the entire world.

00:35:47.900 And people just, like, assume that because of, you know, like, her, like, I don't know, theming and career, that she is not wholesome.

00:35:56.520 But she is.

00:35:57.020 She doesn't get into the scandals, you know. 0.79

00:35:58.820 What scandal?

00:36:00.040 What?

00:36:00.240 Okay, so the one where it turned out that she'd had sex more times in a year than she had bathed that year. 0.79

00:36:04.480 That's not a scandal.

00:36:05.600 That's just a fun fact.

00:36:06.600 It's viral.

00:36:07.620 It's a.

00:36:08.240 Yeah, that's, that's, that's what?

00:36:09.520 A fun fact that goes viral.

00:36:11.160 Like, that's, you know, Pluto being named not a planet anymore also went viral.

00:36:15.220 That's not a scandal.

00:36:16.440 I get what you mean, but I guess I don't consider it a normal scandal because she didn't wrong anyone.

00:36:21.800 It's just Ayla being Ayla.

00:36:24.080 Like, where, like, but what I mean by that scandal is you would have guessed her to get in that type of scandal. 0.77

00:36:29.900 Like, if somebody gave you a list of scandals, you'll be like, oh, that one's Ayla.

00:36:33.280 You're doing match the scandal to the friend.

00:36:35.900 You know, I could guess the type of scandal.

00:36:38.520 But no, I honestly, the only reason that it would be is that Ayla is the only person who is wholesome and pure enough to be honest about something like that.

00:36:45.740 Which, again, oh, people are missing it.

00:36:47.820 Yeah, or like Razeev.

00:36:50.000 I could tell pretty quickly from a list of scandals which one Razeev had actually gotten into.

00:36:54.740 And I, I'll tell you right now, the scandal that Razeev would get into, it would be the one where he thought he could get a rise out of somebody by pretending to be a racist.

00:37:03.100 And that person took him to be an actual racist because he loves doing that.

00:37:08.900 That's like one of his biggest vices is when he thinks he can, like, freak somebody out by saying something that appears, like, super over the line if it's, like, a factual statement.

00:37:19.960 And he could so get in trouble by doing that at the wrong time in front of the wrong person.

00:37:26.320 Come on, you know that.

00:37:29.320 Or, okay, who, we recently did a thing with Leafly.

00:37:32.220 I can't imagine Leafly getting in any trouble for anything.

00:37:34.420 I just don't think that she, like, goes out socially enough to do wrong by people in that way.

00:37:39.960 She has gotten in trouble a few times, but every time was for being mildly conservative.

00:37:44.320 That's, like, her.

00:37:45.800 No, I would, yeah, it's for agreeing with sensible reactions to things when she.

00:37:52.600 And not backing down.

00:37:53.800 Would be expected to be like, oh, I'm outraged.

00:37:57.320 Allow me to clutch my pearls.

00:37:59.180 When instead she's like, yeah, I mean, I agree because they're right.

00:38:02.660 Yeah, I actually, if I see her getting in trouble for something, it's, like, for example, something, like, actually really egregiously racist happens.

00:38:09.700 But she doesn't understand it's racism.

00:38:11.580 And she refuses to back down and apologize because she doesn't know, because she didn't know it was racism at the time.

00:38:17.280 Hmm, maybe.

00:38:18.440 And it ends up spiraling out of control.

00:38:20.640 Because she, I mean, she wouldn't do that with the monkey comment around the BLM riots.

00:38:26.680 She's like, I didn't mean it that way.

00:38:30.040 Yeah, I mean, yeah.

00:38:32.340 Okay, well, what do you think I am going to get canceled for?

00:38:36.900 Or you are going to get canceled for if we're going to get canceled for something?

00:38:40.100 What seems to be the most common pattern is people don't like the way we parent.

00:38:44.580 So we're going to be canceled repeatedly.

00:38:47.380 Yeah, they feel like hitting the kid thing sticks and it doesn't stick.

00:38:50.640 Yeah, but, I mean, just in general, like, there will be something else about the way that we parent.

00:38:55.960 Like, for example, when our kids get older, we're probably going to create LLCs for them and have them start companies.

00:39:02.920 And I could see there being scandals around how we manage their money with them, for example.

00:39:10.340 You know, like, oh, the Collinses are just exploiting their children for child labor and they're really having a ton of money.

00:39:16.620 Or, sorry, having a ton of kids to make money off of them or something like that. 0.81

00:39:20.600 I mean, I hope they make a little money for me.

00:39:22.560 I mean, that's like the Jackson 5.

00:39:24.440 You keep having them until you have one that's a star.

00:39:26.820 Yeah, I really, I have no idea.

00:39:30.200 But, like, yeah, I think a lot of it just comes from a misunderstanding of how we're raising our kids.

00:39:34.260 And, you know, they would assume that, like, the LLCs that had been created were, like, all just for us to make money when really, like, it all belongs to the kid or something.

00:39:43.820 But stuff like that is kind of what I expect.

00:39:47.140 Yeah, but it's been interesting to me watching this Destiny thing.

00:39:49.620 If it destroys his career, honestly, I'm a little sad because it feels, I mean, it's immoral, but it's expected and almost pedantic, the degree to, like, oh, this will end his career, you know, everyone's like right now.

00:40:01.940 And I'm like, I mean, you didn't think Destiny was this type of person?

00:40:07.800 Like, I guess maybe that's just, like, what I assumed.

00:40:10.880 I was like, yeah, he's, like, really has problems with sexual control.

00:40:15.540 It's not that he meant to, like, hurt this other person.

00:40:18.080 I mean, the recording stuff without people's consent is really bad.

00:40:22.480 But to him, these people are Discord bunnies and, like, you know, whatever.

00:40:26.840 Maybe it's bad to dehumanize people because of their relation to you within, like, a certain social ecosystem.

00:40:32.620 But, you know, he's got millions of followers, right?

00:40:35.520 Like, he's emperor of his little castle.

00:40:38.020 It's a bit like, you know, when people expect, you know, Elon Musk or Louis XIV to expect to have the sexual rules around their behavior that somebody else would have around their behavior.

00:40:49.920 It's like, bro, like, it doesn't work that way.

00:40:52.320 It's actually interesting that I think his arousal patterns are the most subversive thing about him, not that he's a sex maniac given his position.

00:41:04.200 Sorry, she's being really difficult again.

00:41:06.000 To me, this feels like, if anything, a low-grade market correction.

00:41:11.080 He did something not nice by sharing something he shouldn't have shared.

00:41:15.320 And now he's getting heat for it.

00:41:18.140 And I don't really see that as, you know, groundbreaking.

00:41:22.620 And it's nice to see that happening.

00:41:25.760 To me, it doesn't feel like, you know, a leftist cancellation.

00:41:28.980 It doesn't feel like any sort of witch hunt.

00:41:30.900 It just feels like a lot of people being like, oh, that's not cool.

00:41:34.780 And it being scandalous enough for some people to talk about it because it's salacious.

00:41:39.720 But it feels fairly grounded.

00:41:42.700 And I like that.

00:41:44.240 You like this scandal because it's just so benign?

00:41:47.360 Yeah.

00:41:47.880 Just kind of like, oh, you shouldn't do that.

00:41:50.900 That's not nice.

00:41:52.240 Kind of, you know, how when our kids do things that we don't think they should do, we're like, hey, this is not a very nice thing to do.

00:41:59.200 And here's why.

00:42:00.260 We might make fun of them for a bit about it.

00:42:02.760 And then you just kind of move on.

00:42:07.500 Well, I appreciate you talking through this with me, Sam.

00:42:10.280 Because I thought this was an interesting scandal from my perspective.

00:42:13.920 Mostly in terms of the feelings that it elicited within me.

00:42:17.300 And I wonder if other people have felt the same way about this scandal.

00:42:20.680 Or if I'm unique.

00:42:22.080 As you said, like maybe most people feel the same way about the Neil Gaiman stuff as this.

00:42:26.140 I was just going over the Neil Gaiman stuff.

00:42:27.520 And I was like, this is like regular like BDSM stuff.

00:42:29.780 Like, bro's a celebrity.

00:42:30.980 Like, of course, he's going to, if people consent, they consent.

00:42:34.360 Like, I need clear lack of consent for me to be upset about this.

00:42:38.340 Yeah.

00:42:39.340 Anyway.

00:42:40.200 Of course, you know, my overarching moral is these people should be focused on something more important with their time and their lives.

00:42:48.180 Because that's what I would say more broadly.

00:42:50.100 But they don't ascribe to my religious beliefs.

00:42:52.560 So, like.

00:42:52.860 But I mean, I guess a similar issue with the Destiny thing.

00:42:55.560 You know, all the quote unquote victims are people who may have been exchanging intimacy for access to a circle or some kind of platform.

00:43:05.180 Oh, of course they were.

00:43:05.960 And so, are they really victims?

00:43:08.140 You know, kind of.

00:43:09.260 What do you expect?

00:43:10.680 You know, you're playing in this world.

00:43:14.680 You're doing this because you kind of expect something.

00:43:18.040 Oh, like some of these people have like boyfriends and stuff. 0.63

00:43:20.840 And so, like, it's so gross.

00:43:22.340 Like.

00:43:23.060 Well, but like, who cares?

00:43:25.180 It doesn't matter if it's gross or not.

00:43:27.020 It's just that, like, if you're going to play it fast and lose sexually stuff like this doesn't happen.

00:43:33.880 It sounds like victim blaming, but like, you know.

00:43:37.200 No, I actually, I don't disagree.

00:43:38.800 I do not think it's victim blaming.

00:43:40.080 And I think that people act like there is never.

00:43:42.660 Look, if a girl walked through a back alley naked, like. 1.00

00:43:46.220 We need to have a discussion about what just happened there.

00:43:48.920 Like, if a guy, you know, if you have the, you know, die hard with a vengeance scene, right?

00:43:53.480 You know, you're walking through, you know, whatever neighborhood was like, I hate inwards on a sign.

00:44:00.160 And you get beaten up.

00:44:03.080 You got about 10 seconds before those guys see you. 1.00

00:44:06.040 When they do, they will kill you. 1.00

00:44:07.980 You understand? 1.00

00:44:09.140 You are about to have a very bad day.

00:44:12.800 Tell me about it.

00:44:15.260 So, you know, like that.

00:44:16.700 Yeah, how dare you blame him for doing that?

00:44:18.360 That's victim blaming.

00:44:19.120 And it's like, well, I mean, but bro, like, should have known what would happen.

00:44:24.620 Like, it's a conversation we'll certainly have with our kids.

00:44:26.940 Like, if you plan on doing these things with your boyfriend or with your girlfriend, expect these risks to be at play.

00:44:35.520 And it's on you.

00:44:36.500 Like, you're taking a calculated risk every time you do this thing.

00:44:40.400 And I think it's also true as people have certain power in society, especially if they're in the celebrity scene.

00:44:45.620 If you are a girl and you get alone with a guy in one of these circles or something like that, what I would say to my daughter is just don't.

00:44:52.980 Do not get alone with famous musicians.

00:44:55.160 Do not get alone with famous musicians or a thing in the future.

00:44:58.280 Whatever the next version is.

00:44:59.760 I guess streamers, right?

00:45:01.260 Here's the thing.

00:45:01.840 The thing is, I think that for most people who get into close proximity with these people and then ending up having some kind of intimate encounter, it is a worthwhile price of admission for them.

00:45:17.380 All right?

00:45:17.960 Like, like, I'd be like, I'd be like, how do I know?

00:45:23.120 The girl would be like, and I'd be like, like, you know, like, for example, like Jordan Peterson, I'm not afraid of him doing this to anyone.

00:45:29.700 Again, we're talking about like, what's his next scandal going to be?

00:45:32.080 His next scandal is going to be some other drug scandal or some other, his actual life is like a disaster, but it's not going to be pressuring young girls into sex.

00:45:42.520 He, he, he doesn't seem to have that particular temptation or maybe the fallout was his daughter.

00:45:49.160 I could see that, but like, there's like a category of like realistic, like explosions from people that you expect.

00:45:57.240 And yeah, I think that category and being able to judge that category is important to also maintaining your own safety around certain people.

00:46:06.120 Oh, like when they, when they do wrong by you or the world, how are they going to do wrong by you?

00:46:13.980 Yeah.

00:46:14.420 How are they, how are they going to cheat you?

00:46:16.140 How are they going to screw you over?

00:46:17.500 How are they going to, you know?

00:46:18.800 Yeah.

00:46:19.040 And the vast majority of people you ever know in the world, the vast majority of your friends are only going to do wrong by you by flaking on you constantly and not showing up because that's what people do now.

00:46:28.500 But there are some people who go further, you know, maybe they will use you as a like mental, emotional, like trash can.

00:46:41.380 Maybe they will try to exploit you for money.

00:46:43.380 Maybe they're trying to utilize your resources and you should be aware of that.

00:46:48.280 But yeah, anyway, it takes two to tango, which is probably one of the more controversial, controversial stances in the pragmatist guide to relationships where we point out that like abusive relationships or just sort of any malfeasance in, in human relations involves typically participation from two parties.

00:47:07.640 I mean, obviously this is not the case for like someone being attacked and raped, but like if you're talking about an exchange like that, those being described here, it's, it's,

00:47:18.280 these are people who chose to be involved with each other.

00:47:21.220 So yeah, well, I love you to death, Simone, you are a great wife.

00:47:25.720 I guess we're going straight to dinner now.

00:47:27.580 Do you want to push?

00:47:30.260 All right.

00:47:31.280 Ready?

00:47:33.940 One, two, three.

00:47:45.080 You want to go?
