would give you guys a little bit of a history on how Classically Abby came to be and also tell you

about some things that are going to be changing this year, which I'm really excited about. So at

the beginning of this year in January, I was figuring some things out because my husband and I had been

married for about eight months, and I was living in Virginia with him while he finished up his law

degree. Now before this point, I had just been pursuing opera and just giving all of my attention

and focus to that. I have three degrees in opera, if you didn't know. I have my undergrad degree,

a master's, and my professional studies certificate. And I had been traveling to sing and all of these

other things. And when I met my husband, I realized that I loved singing, but I also really loved being

with him. So when you are an opera singer, you are traveling four weeks at a time to perform in operas

because you have to be there for the rehearsal period and then the performance period. And I really

didn't want to be away from my husband for long periods of time. I just, I missed him. When we met,

I actually left two weeks later for 10 weeks to sing at a festival in Aspen. And even though that was

probably one of the heights of my career, I also felt really, really sad that I wasn't with this guy

who we kind of knew we were going to get married even after two weeks. So it was just a really big wake-up

call for me. And so I was trying to decide how did I want to spend my time? How did I want to develop

my singing career as well as all of my other passions? And then the idea of blogging and YouTube

came up. And I thought, okay, well, what do I love to do? I love being classic. My whole lifestyle is a

very classic lifestyle. I am a wife. I love cooking for my husband. I love wearing classic clothing. I love

And my goal is to make opera more relatable for you guys. I want to talk to you about my life as an

at all. And I've decided that I really want to be more regular about that. So I'm going to be posting

twice a week on YouTube. Lots of different things about fashion and beauty and opera and lifestyle
