00:00:41.640 I'm going to be starting off with this L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matlock Primer.

00:00:45.480 I'm going to be using a hydrating foundation. I don't usually use

00:00:50.160 hydrating foundations in the summertime but I just love this foundation so much

00:00:53.580 that I'm fine with it. Sometimes my skin is a little bit dewier in the summer

00:00:57.540 naturally so I have to use something that is actually a little bit more

00:01:01.220 mattifying. So I figure using a mattifying primer with a hydrating base will kind of

00:01:06.780 like balance out and so I'm just gonna massage that in. Now of course on July

00:01:13.440 4th the first step even before primer should be sunscreen because it'll

00:01:17.220 probably be very sunny and if you're with family for a barbecue you don't want to

00:01:21.540 get a sunburn especially on your face. So start off with that. I put that on this

00:01:25.620 morning because I went for a walk and all of that fun stuff so I've had that on for

00:01:30.600 a while but I haven't had my makeup on yet so I put on the primer now and now I'm

00:01:34.800 gonna do the rest of my makeup. So I'm going in with the Maybelline New York

00:01:38.640 Dream Radiant Liquid Foundation and this is in the shade Fair Ivory. I'm just

00:01:44.340 going to put a little bit of that on the back of my hand and then I'm going to

00:01:48.060 just take it on a damp sponge and put that all over my skin. So I'm curious to

00:01:54.840 know what kind of foundation do you use? Do you go full coverage liquid foundation?

00:02:01.020 Are you more comfortable using a powder foundation? What do you usually do or do

00:02:05.640 you not wear foundation at all? Because there are some people who have skin that

00:02:08.800 is just great and they really don't need foundation at all. I am not one of those

00:02:12.600 people most of the time. Right now my skin is breaking out. You can see I've got a

00:02:22.440 that up. Also I have a little bit of discoloration through my skin so I like to

00:02:26.980 just kind of even out the base but for a really long time I didn't wear any

00:02:30.420 foundation and I know that there are a lot of people who don't so I'm curious if

00:02:34.600 you guys do. Let me know. Now I'm just gonna cover up any blemishes. Now of course you

00:02:40.020 can skip this step if you don't have any and if you don't care you can just go

00:02:43.640 ahead and skip that. So I'm gonna be using my L'Oreal Infallible Full Wear

00:02:47.020 Concealer and I'm just gonna take this on the back of my hand and then dip into it

00:02:55.200 with a brush and my finger. So I just take kind of a small fluffy-ish brush and I

00:03:01.680 just kind of go over the areas that need more coverage as you can see here and I'm

00:03:07.740 just kind of patting this out and buffeting it to make it blend into the

00:03:13.140 foundation. Now this is a super full coverage concealer so you really need so

00:03:19.140 little. Don't go too heavy with it. I generally accidentally do just because

00:03:24.060 even picking up the littlest bit goes such a long way. So just be careful with how

00:03:29.420 much you use when you're using this concealer and really make sure to blend

00:03:34.620 it out. And of course if you feel like it's not blended out as well as you would

00:03:38.760 like it you can always go back with that damp sponge and just kind of like tap

00:03:43.060 over it with residual foundation. So what are you doing for July 4th this year? I

00:03:48.360 know it's totally different than what we're used to. Some places aren't doing

00:03:52.620 anything for July 4th just because they don't want crowds. Other places probably are

00:03:57.720 but they're gonna like tell people not to come. I don't really know exactly what

00:04:01.320 we're doing yet so I don't I can't give you exactly our plan but I am curious to

00:04:07.220 know if you're planning on staying home if you're gonna be near family so you can

00:04:10.800 hang out with family for a barbecue what the plan is. I mean my thing would be I

00:04:16.440 always associate July 4th with fireworks so if I couldn't watch fireworks where I

00:04:49.060 but using a brush like this and a full coverage concealer can really just do the

00:04:53.020 job really fast. Now I'm gonna do concealer underneath my eyes. I have had I'm

00:04:58.060 guessing it's allergies but I have had the largest purple bags under my eyes that

00:05:03.820 I can remember and I really think it might be allergies because we're living in

00:05:07.900 Nebraska and I don't think I'm used to the pollen here and so I've been waking up

00:05:13.780 in the morning and I'm like what is underneath my eyes this is craziness but

00:05:18.220 using this thing this Charlotte Tilbury magic eraser or something like that I

00:05:23.560 don't know the name exactly but this thing has been a lifesaver and it really

00:05:28.180 just does the job and conceals those really big under-eye bags. Next thing I'm

00:05:34.960 going to do is I'm just gonna take this little damp sponge that's for underneath

00:05:38.620 your eyes I'm gonna tap out any excess of the concealer that's underneath there

00:05:43.120 I'm gonna dip into this number seven powder and I'm just going to set that and I

00:05:49.780 like doing this because it prevents creasing. Now my concealer always creases

00:05:55.060 that's just never not going to be a thing I have a lot of little lines under

00:05:58.120 my eyes and they're not really wrinkles it's just kind of like the way that my

00:06:01.360 eye is constructed so I have always gotten creases in my concealer but it

00:06:08.860 helps to set it down and then I'm just gonna go in with a fluffy brush with the

00:06:12.780 same powder and just set my whole face. Next up I'm gonna do my eyebrows I'm just

00:06:19.160 gonna keep it really simple I'm using a pomade and I'm just gonna fill in any

00:06:22.820 little gaps in my brows that I want to make a little bit thicker or whatnot. You

00:06:30.720 know what's so funny is that I feel like I am one of the only people who buys all

00:07:54.500 keeps getting in the way but it's next up we're popping into some blush so I'm

00:08:06.440 putting that on the apples of the cheeks and sweeping it backward and lastly I'm

00:08:12.920 just gonna use some highlighter I'm using just a pretty natural looking

00:08:23.180 a natural glow to the skin so I'm just putting that on the tops of my cheekbones

00:08:36.680 going to do our eyeshadow so the first thing you want to do is just make sure

00:08:39.800 that there are no creases in your concealer or in your foundation and then

00:08:44.360 I'm gonna go in with the skin colored eyeshadow and just set that down so this

00:08:48.020 is the Milani Gilded Desires palette I don't know if this still exists but you can

00:08:53.720 get a lot of different palettes that have a nude color and there are a few

00:08:58.320 different palettes that have a red as well so now we're gonna keep this look

00:09:02.620 pretty simple we're not going to go too crazy with it although we are using some

00:09:07.600 colors that are a little bit out there but it shouldn't take that long so the

00:09:10.960 plan is I'm gonna go in with a neutral brown so I'm gonna take this color here

00:09:16.040 and I'm just gonna take that on a fluffy brush and put that all over the lid and in

00:09:21.380 the crease so really just messily slap that on there but we want everything to

00:09:26.960 be blended which is why I recommend using a fluffier brush and not just a flat

00:09:31.640 shader brush because this just makes everything look more even and fluffy and

00:09:37.100 blended and we're just putting that all over the lid and in the crease now the

00:09:45.280 next thing that we're gonna do is I'm gonna take a smaller fluffy brush and I'm

00:09:48.700 going to go in with this red here and this orange and kind of mix them to get

00:09:52.840 that red color that I want and I'm gonna tap off the excess and then put that on

00:09:59.080 the outer edge of the eye and into the crease here and what I'm trying to do the

00:10:04.120 outer V is really just blend this out now I don't want this all over the lid I

00:10:10.480 really want it focused on the outer V of my eye and the crease here and so we're

00:10:16.900 just gently putting this where we want it and you can see I kind of got a

00:10:22.900 little too heavy-handed here so I can just take my finger and pop that out and

00:10:26.400 I'm just going to keep blending let me just do the same on the other eye so just

00:10:31.900 tap between these two shades tap off the excess and then go on the outer V

00:10:37.240 bring it into the crease you can see that was actually really fast and easy and it

00:10:47.440 didn't take much effort at all next up I'm gonna go in with this incredible blue

00:10:52.480 shade and I'm gonna go in with this little pencil brush and I'm just gonna

00:10:55.360 tap that in there sure I have enough on the brush but tap off just so there's not

00:11:00.820 any like loose pieces that'll fall down onto the rest of your makeup and then I'm

00:11:04.960 gonna go underneath my lash line on the lower part of my eye and blend that out

00:11:11.920 so see we're getting the red and now we're getting the blue we're just focusing

00:11:19.600 that color right on that lower lash line we'll do the same thing on the other eye 0.97

00:11:28.460 and to finish off the look I'm just going to take a little bit of these two

00:11:34.760 shades here these are shiny highlight shades and I'm gonna put them right on

00:11:40.220 that inner corner and I'm gonna pull it up on this part of the eye if you can see

00:11:45.700 it's like on this inner corner of the eye I'm actually pulling it up I'm gonna do

00:11:50.900 same thing here and it just kind of defines and creates this sort of cut

00:11:58.460 crease almost without doing anything and that is the finished eyeshadow I mean

00:12:07.940 there are two ways you can go from here you can either put on a cat eye with

00:12:11.880 some eyeliner or you can keep it bare and I think I'm gonna keep my eyeliner
