Every leader for their department should understand the strategy, the systems, the reporting, and the people. If they don t have those fundamental things, the only way to solve the problems that come up is meetings. And those meetings are usually like, "Hey guys, since our conversation yesterday, I came up with some stuff I wanted to review with you guys. Since you're not doing the work, none of those meetings is going to do the work."
