Turning pro, or as I like to say it, stop effing around.
00:00:04.400
Today, I'm really excited to share with you guys five different tips to really get you going to a level of commitment in your business.
00:00:12.740
You know, recently I was talking to a founder, and they have a very successful business.
00:00:17.500
But because there's co-founders, I think a lot of times when we were talking about some of the challenges they were having,
00:00:22.620
it was the deferring to the other co-founder where I didn't feel like anybody really took
00:00:28.600
responsibility for being a founder or essentially owning up what it means to run a business and to
00:00:34.760
be a leader so what I want to share with you guys today is you know what some people call turning
00:00:39.140
pro but really just stop being a wantrepreneur and be a true entrepreneur so the third one is
00:00:45.720
claim your role. Claim it as a CEO, as a founder. Claim it as a leader. Own it. Don't
00:00:52.460
defer it. Don't expect other people to do this. This is your responsibility as a founder
00:00:57.280
to just get there and own it. And even if you feel, I mean, I can't tell you, you probably
00:01:02.820
sometimes have this thing called imposter syndrome where you don't feel like, you feel
00:01:06.560
like you're being asked or looked at in a certain light and someday somebody's going
00:01:10.560
to figure out that you're not capable of what they think you are. Trust me, we all
00:01:24.460
The second one is to write it down and share it.
00:01:36.360
and if you haven't seen my video on the responsibilities
00:01:42.800
in this business, what you feel your responsibilities are,
00:01:47.080
Share your vision, because if you're not willing,
00:01:49.980
you know, on a daily basis, to let the exterior world,
00:01:55.640
if you're not willing to share your crazy ideas with them,
00:02:00.460
what's my level of commitment to this business, right?
00:02:03.780
If you just feel you can do it as a side project
00:02:10.020
and you're still not pro, you haven't turned pro,
00:02:50.900
or please move aside because it's gonna happen.
00:02:54.000
And that to me is what showing up truly is about.
00:02:58.680
It's communicating that with passion and certainty
00:03:05.220
because to me, entrepreneurship is just part of living.
00:03:10.740
The other thing I want to let you guys know that
00:03:12.740
turning pro is really about progress, not perfection.
00:03:18.740
They just think like every duck needs to be in line
00:03:22.740
And I'm going to tell you guys right now that you really
00:03:27.740
And even if you have that one day where you're off or you just
00:03:30.740
feel like staying home and you don't want to even go to work
00:03:32.740
or see anybody and, you know, you want to binge watch
00:03:39.740
Let me tell you guys, everybody goes through it.
00:03:57.500
This is one I bring a lot of enthusiasm and joy to.
00:04:03.860
It's being intrigued in all aspects of your business,
00:04:11.560
like really trying to take your things to the next level.
00:04:14.280
It's becoming a student of business and of life
00:04:17.560
and going deep and trying to study as much as you can,
00:04:26.240
I see so many entrepreneurs, they start in that phase
00:04:53.700
Leave me a comment if you have some other strategies
00:04:55.820
for turning pro, I'd love to hear from them below.
00:04:57.960
I wanna challenge you guys to live a bigger life
00:05:00.700
and a bigger business, and I'll see you guys next Monday.
