In this episode, I sit down with the president and founder of the Canadian Christian Identity Movement, Dr. Chris Ward, to talk about what it means to be a Christian in the 21st century, why God and Jesus are important in Canada, and why we should all have something to believe in.

00:00:00.000 Where does God and Jesus fit into the movement?
00:00:03.740 Christianity plays an important role in Canadian identity.
00:00:06.300 The country would never have been able to grow to what it was
00:00:09.180 without a strong kind of Christian moral ethic,
00:00:11.900 as well as the kind of community structures that come with it.
00:00:14.980 We're not an explicitly Christian organization.
00:00:17.740 We're broadly secular, but we are proud of Canada's Christian heritage
00:00:22.240 and recognize the important role that it's played.
00:00:25.020 Yeah, it's important because when you don't have something to have faith in,
00:00:29.280 something to believe in then somebody will come along with something else right all of these
00:00:34.640 left-wing lunatics these days and the trans nonsense i mean that stuff how do we stamp that 0.67
00:00:39.680 out is is that like a social contagion do you think or is it something more i i think social 0.93
00:00:44.720 contagion is a good way of describing it i think standing up for biological realities is it is
00:00:50.000 important it's all tied together with this kind of general kind of moral degeneracy and again they
00:00:56.480 They want us focused on things outside of standing up for our people.
00:01:01.440 And I think this kind of trans fad is another kind of distraction. 1.00
00:01:05.480 But it's definitely a social bug that's going through the education system.
00:01:09.500 And it's all tied back to liberalism, right?
00:01:11.820 It's just the same way that they want to allow anyone to speak any language
00:01:15.760 and think that's going to have no social consequences.
00:01:18.600 They want to accept everyone for their sexual orientation
00:01:22.240 or their gender identity and all these things. 0.57
00:01:24.500 And again, not thinking that it's going to have any social consequences.
00:01:27.840 So really, the root of all these kind of problems is just kind of the liberal moral framework that's been implemented in the post-war period.
00:01:36.020 Or lack thereof. No, there is no moral framework, apparently.
00:01:39.620 I mean, that's liberalism at its rawest form, I would say.
00:01:43.000 So neoliberalism, I mean, the actual liberal mind is one that's open to all things, right?
00:01:49.080 It's not closed off.
00:01:50.660 So it's more of a Marxist, neo-Marxism than a neoliberalism, I would suggest.
00:01:55.060 Anyway, that's semantics.
