Flaawsome Talk with Kjersti Flaa - Backing Blake BACKFIRED Big time for Colleen Hoover !!

00:00:00.000 She just picks and chooses her victims of who she wants to be rude to and who she decides to be nice to. 1.00

00:00:11.520 Hi and welcome to Filsom Talk. I'm Kersti Floor, journalist, Hollywood twist teller and your voice of reason in a town built on the illusion.

00:00:20.060 I saw a comment yesterday and I was like, wow, this is so cool.

00:00:24.440 So now you can watch my channel in all these different languages. I test it out in French, in Spanish, Portuguese, Hindu. There's a lot of different languages.

00:00:36.940 Pero creo que están realmente preocupados por las descontes Stephanie Jones por mettre la main sur el teléfono. 1.00

00:00:42.220 Der anti-SLAP-antrag hängt immer noch en der Schwebe.

00:00:45.460 So if English isn't your first language, you can go into settings and you can find the language that you want me to speak in.

00:00:51.860 It's not my voice, obviously, but if you find English hard to understand, there are other options now.

00:00:57.960 So that's super cool.

00:00:59.580 And thank you so much for all the feedback I got yesterday from my episode.

00:01:02.940 I spoke about plastic surgery and my true feelings about how some actors in Hollywood are turning into some kind of AI versions of themselves.

00:01:13.540 I decided to speak to a plastic surgeon who's coming on my channel very soon.

00:01:18.560 So stay tuned for that. We'll go through some of the faces and what he thinks that they have done to look the way they do and how to avoid those things and how to stay more natural.

00:01:30.820 Also, while we're waiting for Baldoni to appeal, which I think is going to happen, it's been so quiet lately.

00:01:37.860 There's no new filings today.

00:01:40.240 I feel when it's really quiet, something big is about to happen and exploding our faces again.

00:01:45.720 So no legal talk today, but we have to talk about Colleen Hoover's new movie, which has flopped tremendously at the box office.

00:01:56.180 The movie is losing tons of money and the critics don't like it.

00:02:01.400 Also, what happened to Britney Spears' friends?

00:02:03.580 They were there at her wedding.

00:02:05.060 They were so supportive of her and now everyone's gone.

00:02:08.580 Also, I went down the rabbit hole yesterday and I listened to the entire Lily Allen album that she just released.

00:02:13.900 I don't know if you missed that story, but this is so interesting.

00:02:17.640 The whole album tells the story of her relationship and failed marriage to her now ex-husband, David Harbour, who many people know from Stranger Things.

00:02:29.520 She's sharing some very intricate details about what went on in their marriage and I'm a bit shocked.

00:02:35.320 Also, this just popped up on my Instagram, Blake Lively being rude to a reporter.

00:02:42.340 Thank you, assholemedia.com.

00:02:44.240 Every time I say that name, it makes me laugh, but I have to give them credit because they're the ones who posted this showing how Blake went after one reporter when she asked about wearing menswear or, you know, wearing a suit on the red carpet for, I think it was a simple favor.

00:03:01.240 And then she's being so nice to another one.

00:03:05.200 Access is giving you best dressed menswear looks because obviously. 0.93

00:03:09.480 Why is it menswear?

00:03:10.160 Why can't it be womenswear or just wear? 1.00

00:03:12.000 What's my next question to you?

00:03:13.400 What would you call it?

00:03:15.040 Like, is it just like, what's the style?

00:03:18.020 Clothes.

00:03:18.600 Clothes?

00:03:19.360 Yeah.

00:03:19.940 Do you feel more empowered than that?

00:03:21.400 Because for some reason, I feel like that.

00:03:23.020 I don't feel more powerful in a suit.

00:03:24.780 I always find that very strange because I don't think men feel more powerful when they change their articles of clothing.

00:03:30.120 Uh, well, I mean, her clothes, I mean, just wearing menswear all the time is really cool.

00:03:34.780 So this is like, this is Emily and me together because Emily would definitely have worn pants with this.

00:03:40.940 I went, I went pants free, full lampshading today.

00:03:44.280 I feel it's like fuel to her to belittle journalists like she did to me.

00:03:48.860 And this reminded me of my conversation with her when I asked about the costumes.

00:03:53.540 If you don't remember that.

00:03:55.020 Did you guys love wearing those kind of clothes that you got to wear?

00:03:58.920 Yes, yes.

00:04:00.360 Yeah.

00:04:00.620 And you know, working in digital.

00:04:01.720 Everyone wants to talk about the clothes, but I wonder if they would ask the men about the clothes.

00:04:05.700 I would.

00:04:06.520 I love Jesse's suits and how he.

00:04:09.240 That's what I'm saying.

00:04:10.160 His, his wardrobe was beautiful.

00:04:11.480 Oh, I know.

00:04:12.100 Everybody.

00:04:12.220 Corey's wardrobe was, of course, those high-waisted pants.

00:04:15.560 He's so great.

00:04:16.180 I wish men wore high-waisted pants like that still.

00:04:18.620 Yeah, she was so offended by me asking about the costumes that she ignored me for the rest of the interview.

00:04:25.640 My famous viral interview with Blake and Parker Posey where they just talked to each other and made me look like a terrible person because I asked her about the costumes in the movie.

00:04:37.720 As you know, that's the thing she kept talking about during the entire promo tour of It Ends With Us.

00:04:44.640 The clothing, the fashion, how much she loved it, how she put her own clothing in there.

00:04:51.320 Something she got really criticized for a lot, as you remember.

00:04:54.760 Anyways, it just put things in perspective of how she just picks and chooses her victims of who she wants to be rude to and who she decides to be nice to.

00:05:04.220 So let's get into Colin Hoover's new adaption of Regretting You, her book that now is made into a movie.

00:05:13.540 As you know, she was also the author of It Ends With Us.

00:05:17.000 So people, there were big expectations with her next movie coming up and it got terrible reviews in variety.

00:05:24.800 I read some of it last week.

00:05:27.120 They were comparing it to a soap opera, but not a good soap opera, a terrible soap opera.

00:05:32.340 I think some fans are raving and they like it, but people do not go to the theater to watch it.

00:05:38.700 It says here that the movie brought in only $23 million, falling short of its $30 million production cost.

00:05:47.700 For a movie to actually make money, they need to double the cost of the movie.

00:05:52.960 So this movie would have to make $60 million because of their budget of $30 million and they only made $23 million the first week.

00:06:02.840 I think we can definitely say that this is a flop.

00:06:06.320 I don't know if people are actually boycotting Colin Hoover and that's one of the reasons that the fans are not showing up for her.

00:06:12.940 But as I reported on recently, Colleen decided not to do any promo for this movie.

00:06:20.680 She said she had a surgery coming up and that was the reason why she's not promoting the movie.

00:06:25.320 But I don't know.

00:06:26.340 I feel like she doesn't want to be out there because she's afraid of getting asked these questions about It Ends With Us.

00:06:32.980 As you know, she supported Blake Lively.

00:06:35.840 She really came out and supported her.

00:06:38.220 And then after Justin Baldoni filed his countersuit against Blake and all the receipts came out, she went into hiding and she deleted her Instagram.

00:06:49.020 So I'm not surprised if she lost a lot of fans because of that.

00:06:52.400 Because there's so much proof that she really supported Justin Baldoni.

00:06:56.080 You know, she sold him the rights for her book and she also wanted him to be the lead.

00:07:00.980 And there are photos and there are videos of the two of them together promoting the movie and she was so supportive of him.

00:07:06.940 So she just flipped. 0.54

00:07:09.560 And I think we all know the reason for that.

00:07:12.280 Because I think probably most likely Blake and Ryan promised her something in the future.

00:07:19.260 And now it's backfired and we know she's been deposed.

00:07:22.880 I would love to read parts of that deposition.

00:07:26.380 I wonder if she told the truth.

00:07:28.320 Also, when you look at this, I wonder, because as I said before, I didn't like It Ends With Us.

00:07:34.000 I thought it was a bad movie.

00:07:35.420 Sorry, just not my cup of tea.

00:07:37.940 But I wonder if the movie did so well because of all the controversies around it.

00:07:43.700 You know, it got so much extra publicity because of the friction between Blake and Justin Baldoni.

00:07:50.500 There were news stories all the time about things happening on that set.

00:07:55.220 And of course, there was a lot of backlash from the way Blake promoted the movie.

00:07:59.360 And that might have even helped to get the word out about the movie.

00:08:03.700 So maybe more people went to see it just because of that.

00:08:07.020 We know that those kind of strategies actually work.

00:08:10.440 And sometimes they will create fake friction from sets and put rumors out there that the cast is not getting along.

00:08:16.960 Or that someone's dating, something we saw this summer with Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson.

00:08:22.620 It turned out to be completely fake.

00:08:24.980 They never had a relationship.

00:08:26.800 There was never love there.

00:08:28.220 I mean, maybe they liked each other as co-stars.

00:08:30.500 But apparently, they haven't been in touch for over a year.

00:08:33.380 So we know that a lot of the times publicists will plant rumors to get more publicity around a movie.

00:08:41.540 She has more movies coming out with big stars like Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett for the movie Verity.

00:08:47.520 And then there's another adoption with Anne Hathaway.

00:08:50.600 So it's going to be interesting to follow those as well and see how they're doing at the box office.

00:08:54.900 Anyways, there's been a lot of talk about Britney lately.

00:08:57.480 And as you know, Kevin Federline just released a tell-all book.

00:09:01.660 And it's flopped.

00:09:03.040 And that makes me happy.

00:09:04.580 I feel like he's just taking advantage of her.

00:09:07.420 And she's not in a good place.

00:09:08.980 There's been a lot of videos lately where, again, she's dancing at home.

00:09:12.660 And she looks like she's not in a good place.

00:09:15.400 There's a story here on Rob Shooter's blog where he talks about how her friends has now abandoned her.

00:09:24.860 Britney Spears' friends, Madonna, Selena Gomez, and Paris Hilton were all at her wedding in 2022.

00:09:31.360 And they were dancing around.

00:09:33.060 And now they've been completely silent.

00:09:36.220 They were front row for the photo ops.

00:09:38.900 But now they know where to be found.

00:09:41.200 An insider tells Shooter's scoop.

00:09:43.780 Britney's struggling.

00:09:44.900 And the silence from her so-called friends is deafening.

00:09:50.000 Sources says Britney hasn't spoken to any of them in months.

00:09:52.840 No texts, no calls, nothing, says a longtime pal.

00:09:56.460 She thought these women were her support system. 1.00

00:09:59.160 Madonna, who once dubbed Britney, her spiritual daughter, has avoided public comments entirely.

00:10:06.300 And Selena Gomez, who tearfully toasted the bride, has stayed quiet online, sparking backlash from fans.

00:10:13.660 We don't really know if they're in touch.

00:10:15.940 I don't know if I believe this insider here.

00:10:18.260 But I was watching this video of Madonna the other day when she arrived at Paris Fashion Week.

00:10:23.140 And I think she looks like she's not in a good place either.

00:10:25.780 Just the way she's walking and hiding behind that jacket. 0.87

00:10:29.500 I don't know if these people are the best friends to have when you're going through a mental crisis.

00:10:37.080 It says here that Paris Hilton, however, appears to be the lone exception.

00:10:41.600 She's called, texted, and sent messages through mutual friends.

00:10:45.780 A source close to Paris reveals.

00:10:47.760 But Britney doesn't answer the phone. 0.99

00:10:49.660 She's isolated and unreachable.

00:10:52.240 So then it doesn't really matter if they reach out, if she's not going to get back to them.

00:10:57.060 And I think at this point, Britney needs more than just friends.

00:11:00.520 She needs professional help.

00:11:02.700 And I really hope she's going to get it soon.

00:11:04.940 I saw some comments the other day from the guy behind Free Britney, the movement,

00:11:11.500 that wanted the conservatorship to end for Britney. 1.00

00:11:14.680 And now they're also being quiet.

00:11:16.920 Everyone's just being quiet right now.

00:11:18.920 And I feel like if someone doesn't step in soon to save Britney, I don't know what's going to happen to her.

00:11:24.120 I was speaking to Magnus yesterday.

00:11:25.560 He told me this story that I wanted to come bring him on here to talk about, actually.

00:11:30.600 He told me a story where he was doing an article about paparazzis for the Swedish newspaper he works for.

00:11:37.420 And he tagged along for a day.

00:11:40.320 And they were chasing Britney.

00:11:42.120 And he was in the back seat.

00:11:43.440 And he said they were driving like crazy.

00:11:46.040 They didn't stop at any red lights.

00:11:47.700 He said, I felt there was an accident about to happen the entire time.

00:11:52.440 It was so stressful.

00:11:54.040 And all these photographers, he said it was up to 50 photographers at the same time, you know, waiting outside.

00:12:00.900 They were down here on Melrose, one of the places she stopped outside of Fred Siegel, I think the store.

00:12:07.340 And she came out and there were so many people she couldn't get past.

00:12:10.900 I just don't like it when you get in my way at my pictures.

00:12:14.220 Oh, okay.

00:12:14.840 Sorry about that, Britney. 0.83

00:12:15.640 Why don't you take one right now?

00:12:16.160 I'm a person just like you.

00:12:17.160 Why don't you take one right now?

00:12:18.640 Can you take a picture of us, Britney?

00:12:20.280 Take care.

00:12:21.180 So, I mean, having lived through that, and that was after her public meltdown.

00:12:26.120 So, I can't even imagine.

00:12:28.540 How are we going to get Britney Spears back on track again?

00:12:32.020 I don't know.

00:12:33.060 I just feel so sad for her.

00:12:35.140 Okay, so let's talk about Lily Allen for a second.

00:12:37.100 She's a British pop star.

00:12:39.200 She has some big hits.

00:12:40.740 This is her fifth studio album.

00:12:43.800 And this time, I was listening to the whole entire album yesterday.

00:12:49.200 And it's called West and Girled.

00:12:52.660 And it's received raving reviews.

00:12:55.440 And it's raw and emotional and brutally honest.

00:12:58.740 And it's all about her ex, David Harbour, who is one of the actors in Stranger Things.

00:13:05.580 He's 50 and she's 40.

00:13:09.240 And that's why this entire story surprised me a little bit.

00:13:12.220 Because I would have thought, you know, this is something that happened with younger people,

00:13:17.020 maybe more than when you are already at that age.

00:13:20.560 She has two daughters, one 11-year-old, no, one 12-year-old and a 13-year-old.

00:13:26.200 So, keep that in mind.

00:13:27.580 So, she's releasing this album.

00:13:30.020 And every single song is about him and their relationship and how it completely crashed.

00:13:36.220 When I first heard the songs, I didn't know the whole backstory.

00:13:39.700 So, I was like, wow, this is terrible.

00:13:41.760 He cheated on her.

00:13:43.240 She's heartbroken.

00:13:44.740 And it's so much raw emotion here.

00:13:47.400 And the way she portrays it, I was like, wow, I felt so much sympathy for her.

00:13:52.100 But then I started realizing that they had an open marriage.

00:13:56.740 So, they had an agreement that they could have other people.

00:14:00.520 And that makes me look at things a little bit differently.

00:14:03.760 Because what she's accusing him of is breaking the rules of that open marriage.

00:14:10.580 She said that there were feelings there.

00:14:12.840 And she found love letters.

00:14:14.680 And he was taking it too far.

00:14:17.120 And that's why I'm like, I don't know what to feel about this.

00:14:21.360 And I was looking at David Harbour's Instagram.

00:14:24.540 I don't know if he had his comments open before.

00:14:27.380 But they're closed now.

00:14:29.540 And I wonder if people go after him after they heard all these songs.

00:14:33.720 If you don't know the whole backstory here.

00:14:36.140 And I saw on her Instagram, she's getting a lot of support from people.

00:14:39.720 And I think a lot of women who's been in a situation where they've been cheated on. 1.00

00:14:43.620 They can really relate to a lot of the things that she's saying.

00:14:47.760 There's so much emotions here that you're going through.

00:14:49.940 But at the same time, there are some things here.

00:14:53.540 Like, for example, something that she admitted in her memoir.

00:14:58.180 Where she said that she joined the Mile High Club with Liam Gallagher.

00:15:05.020 When he was still married to Nicole Appleton.

00:15:08.520 He cheated with her when he was with someone else.

00:15:11.760 Also, she has confessed to cheating on her first husband, Sam Cooper.

00:15:16.880 She admitted paying for female escorts while on tour in 2014.

00:15:23.700 She said back then, I'm not proud, but I'm not ashamed.

00:15:28.120 I think my biggest issue here is like, okay.

00:15:30.660 Whatever troubles you have in your marriage.

00:15:32.460 If you're an artist and you feel you have to vent everything out to the public.

00:15:36.780 Okay.

00:15:37.440 But when you have teenage daughters, that's where I have an issue with this.

00:15:41.260 Because for them to hear about her mom's open marriage and to hear her sing about it and to share it with the world.

00:15:51.360 That to me would be a nightmare for me when I was...

00:15:55.280 If that happened to me as a teenager, I don't know how I would deal with that.

00:15:58.960 And that's why I don't know what to feel about this.

00:16:01.220 Let me know what you think.

00:16:02.380 I also don't think that I've heard of any people that are happy in an open marriage.

00:16:07.480 I feel it's always one person who really wants to have an open marriage.

00:16:11.100 And the other person kind of just agrees because they love the other person.

00:16:15.480 And then it turns out that one person will always get disappointed.

00:16:20.140 I don't know.

00:16:20.740 Do you know anyone who's been in an open marriage for like 10, 20 years and are happy together?

00:16:25.780 I still haven't heard a story like that.

00:16:30.120 Oh God. 0.66

00:16:33.780 What the hell are you doing here?

00:16:36.820 I mean, last time I was single and I was living on the Lower East Side, I have a family now.

00:16:42.780 Kids.

00:16:43.320 I mean, it's just so embarrassing.

00:16:46.240 You look good though.

00:16:47.600 Yeah, let me know what you think about that.

00:16:49.260 Is it possible to have an open marriage?

00:16:50.940 And do you feel sympathy for Lily Allen?

00:16:52.800 Anyways, I wanted to end this episode with this video that popped up on my Instagram the other day.

00:16:57.920 I laughed so hard.

00:16:59.100 This is Dan Stevens.

00:17:01.160 And he gets asked by this host of how he got a part in a movie.

00:17:06.640 And she asked the question in a way that is very inappropriate, but she doesn't get it.

00:17:12.260 It's really funny.

00:17:13.320 And a big opportunity for you in Hollywood.

00:17:15.660 You must have had to beat off a lot of American men to get this part.

00:17:20.080 Why does that make you giggle?

00:17:24.520 Did you not have to beat them off?

00:17:26.940 With a big stick?

00:17:27.500 To get the role, imagine there was quite a few men up for the role as well.

00:17:31.480 Is that fair?

00:17:32.220 There were.

00:17:35.920 And compose yourself.

00:17:38.920 I...
