00:17:07.440There's been a few interesting articles in The Hollywood Reporter lately.
00:17:11.600It's pretty obvious to me where these stories are coming from.
00:17:15.640I mean, they're both trying to support the narrative of Stephanie Jones.
00:17:21.460Because, as you know, Stephanie Jones used to work for Justin Baldoni, and he left the company, and she took the text messages of Jennifer Abel, blah, blah, blah, that entire story.
00:17:31.640And now, as you might know, Stephanie Jones is suing her former publicist and Justin Baldoni, the Wayfair Party.
00:17:40.120She's suing everyone, and she's claiming, amongst other things, that there was a smear campaign against her.0.64
00:17:46.800And there were two smear websites that were designed to harm her reputation.
00:17:53.140And then, voila, all of a sudden, these two articles shows up in The Hollywood Reporter
00:17:58.820when Stephanie Jones is in the middle of discovery.
00:18:02.640This one is pretty juicy, and I feel so bad for Justin Baldoni when these stories are coming out.
00:18:09.180Because I believe that Justin Baldoni never hired crisis PR to harm anyone else.
00:18:15.840He hired crisis PR to protect himself.
00:18:20.540And what it looks like now is that some of these crisis PR people are willing to go really
00:22:03.480It doesn't look good for that entire industry, for publicists, for crisis PR.
00:22:09.560And then there was another story magically appearing in The Hollywood Reporter just a week ago as well,
00:22:16.400saying that top Hollywood publicists alleged to have hid evidence about role in celebrity smear sites.
00:22:23.900so this is not actually news this information came out almost a year ago so i don't know why
00:22:31.840the hollywood reporter is reporting on this right now but anyways melissa nathan who works for tag
00:22:38.080which also as you know justin baloney hired to help him out of this crisis she's accused of0.81
00:22:45.420basically lying in her deposition because Stephanie Jones asked one of Melissa Nathan's co-workers0.97
00:22:54.020who also used to work for Stephanie Jones. It's so confusing. I'm so sorry. Her name is Katie Case
00:23:00.600and Katie Case went from Stephanie Jones and started working for Melissa Nathan and in her
00:23:06.240deposition she said that she was asked by Melissa Nathan to make a copy to basically write down
00:23:15.920what was going to be on one of those websites. She has no text messages no evidence of that
00:23:24.580but Stephanie Jones took her words for it and she confronted Melissa Nathan about it in her0.99
00:23:30.400deposition. And she basically said that Katie Case is lying. And it says here in the article1.00
00:23:36.820in the Hollywood Reporter, in new court filings, Melissa Nathan is accused of committing perjury
00:23:41.860about her link to websites that have lodged anonymous complaints against prominent individuals
00:23:47.800and companies. Nathan has denied involvement. I think there's been quite a few examples now
00:23:55.920with all these lawsuits. I mean, there are 10 lawsuits now, 10 lawsuits that's connected to
00:24:03.040the lawsuit that Blake Lively filed originally. And in those lawsuits, we've seen it so many times
00:24:09.380contradicting testimonies. So that means that one or both parties are lying. They're lying under
00:24:18.200oath. And I think that's pretty serious. It's called perjury. And the fact that some people
00:24:24.060are willing to lie under oath what does that say about them what does that say about their ethics
00:24:30.780about their morals and these people are the ones protecting celebrities in the media how are we
00:24:37.500supposed to believe anything they say or do in the future i think the fact that stephanie jones
00:24:42.980started this mess there would be no lawsuits if it wasn't for stephanie jones keep that in mind
00:24:49.580She was the one who leaked those text messages from her employee's phone to harm her and to harm Justin Baldoni or punish him for leaving her.
00:25:01.000So if Blake never had received those text messages, she might never have sued.
00:25:06.240We don't know that for sure, but we know that the New York Times article would look very, very different if she ever got them to write anything without any evidence.
00:25:16.940So the fact that Stephanie Jones keeps leaking these stories to the press is just stirring the pot even further and it just makes you lose all respect for that industry.
00:25:32.740I mean, the next time you see this perfectly timed celebrity scandal, a glowing profile or an anonymous insider quote, we are going to go like, oh, we see what you're doing here.
