00:00:00.000 So now it's not in Stephanie Jones' interest anymore to help Lake Lively.
00:00:05.220 It doesn't get better than this, you guys.
00:00:12.640 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Jashti Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,
00:00:17.320 and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.
00:00:20.760 Happy Friday, everyone, and welcome to new subscribers. Welcome back to old subscribers.

00:00:37.540 Anyways, let's get right into it. There's so much to talk about, and I spent hours this morning
00:00:42.120 trying to figure out all this legal stuff. It's not easy, and I'm going to try to explain everything
00:00:48.300 in the best way possible. There's so much stuff here, you guys. First of all, Blake Lively's
00:00:55.020 contract with the Wayfair parties have been unsealed. This could be a major game changer
00:01:03.460 for Baldoni. There's also another filing that made me so joyful this morning. So as you know,
00:01:12.740 Jennifer Abel is suing her previous employer, Stephanie Jones, and Jones' work. And it turns out
00:01:20.160 that this has backfired tremendously on Stephanie Jones, who, as you know, is working with Blake
00:01:28.700 Lively's team. Now it turns out that for her, it will be a catastrophe if Blake Lively actually wins
00:01:37.180 this lawsuit. So everything is turned upside down for Stephanie Jones, and it actually really amuses me.
00:01:43.960 What comes around, goes around. Also, there's a report that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have
00:01:49.440 been living separate lives for years. And now Angelina Jolie has filed some new court papers
00:01:55.700 where she shares how emotionally difficult her split with Brad Pitt is, and also the fact that
00:02:01.700 she wasn't able to buy a house. Yeah, there's a lot going on in Hollywood, you guys. Let's get right
00:02:14.240 into this Blake Lively contract. First of all, I have to say I was a little amused by reading this
00:02:19.500 contract because it really shows what a diva Blake Lively is. I will go through some of her stuff,
00:02:27.040 her demands in this contract as well. But first of all, what it legally implies for Baldoni's team,
00:02:33.840 because this contract, according to attorneys, I watch a lot of attorneys talk about this as well,
00:02:39.200 because I wanted to make sure that I didn't say anything that wasn't correct. And they're saying
00:02:43.320 that everything in this contract implies really strongly that Blake Lively was not an employee of
00:02:50.140 the Wayfair parties, or it ends with us, the movie. She was a contractor. And the fact that she was
00:02:55.980 lent out to Baldoni and the Wayfair parties, and it ends with us, the movie, as a contractor,
00:03:01.520 that gives her a lot more power. And that really weakens her claims of S.H. because she's been
00:03:09.460 portraying herself as a victim here. You know, I didn't have any powers, blah, blah, blah. And then
00:03:14.720 this contract is saying the complete opposite. So that is something that Baldoni could really use
00:03:21.120 in his favor. And of course, this is not great for Blake in so many ways, because now people know
00:03:28.120 how much she made on that movie. They know all her demands from this movie. And there are a lot of
00:03:33.280 little things here that Baldoni could use in his favor. It also says here that if there's any conflict
00:03:39.760 between them, this should be solved outside of court. It should happen in private arbitration,
00:03:46.660 meaning that Blake Lively really didn't honor this contract. Another thing here is that she never
00:03:52.540 signed this contract. There's been a lot of discussions if it's really valid, because she
00:03:56.740 didn't sign it. And as far as I understand, that I've heard a lot of people talk about is that
00:04:01.320 even if you don't sign a contract, if you act like it is in place, like here, she was paid, she went to
00:04:08.360 work. The contract is also stating that she should keep production details confidential.
00:04:13.660 And as we know, she even showed an unfinished cut of the movie to an audience without the knowledge
00:04:22.080 even of It Ends With Us, the movie, and Wayfair parties. So that's another breach of contract.
00:04:27.880 There's so many reasons here where Justin Baldoni could sue her for breach of contract.
00:04:33.900 This contract really shows how much power Blake had in this movie. And the fact that she's been
00:04:40.360 claiming to be this poor victim that's been S-aged and retaliated against doesn't really hold up.
00:04:48.040 And the fact that she's tried so hard to use California Me Too law against Justin Baldoni here,
00:04:55.060 and this contract really explicitly points out that this work is being done only in New York.
00:05:02.740 And that also, of course, gives Baldoni's team more ammunition, saying, you know,
00:05:06.760 you can't use California law because it suits you in this moment. I hope to get more insight in what
00:05:13.500 this implies illegally and how Baldoni is going to use it. And I think there is a reason why they
00:05:19.480 haven't attached this earlier. I think they've been waiting to use this against her team. And
00:05:25.560 I've been waiting to actually unseal this for the world to see what actually happened here. And that
00:05:31.480 Blake Lively was not this poor employee who only did what she was told on that set, but she had
00:05:37.840 power. So just to dish a little bit about the details in this contract, which I thought was quite
00:05:43.120 juicy, she made $1,750,000 on the film. And if the box office reached three times the cost of the
00:05:52.200 budget of the movie, she would get an initial $250,000 bonus. And here comes the funny part, you guys.
00:05:59.480 If she would, to be nominated for an Academy Award for her performance in It Ends With Us,
00:06:08.220 she would get a bonus of $100,000. And if she would win an Academy Award, she would get another,
00:06:16.600 she would get $200,000. Just to even put that in the contract is so funny, especially when you know
00:06:23.480 Blake Lively's acting skills. To be honest, they're not really up there. She's never been nominated for
00:06:28.680 any awards as far as I know. And they're also pointing out if she would get nominated for a
00:06:32.840 Golden Globe, she will get $75,000. And for a win, she will get $100,000. And the same if she gets
00:06:40.800 nominated for a SAG Award. Well, none of that happened. And then, of course, she has a private
00:06:48.140 jet to travel in. Isn't that kind of ironic how Ryan Reynolds has been out there so many times
00:06:53.700 proclaiming that he's such an environmentalist and he signed this contract with the UN for his
00:06:59.700 soccer team. He's been donating money to environmental causes and then they're flying
00:07:05.460 private jets. That's like the worst you can do to the environment. And it says here that the
00:07:11.940 company will provide one private jet for round-trip air transportation, which she has the right to
00:07:18.220 approve. So she can also approve this private jet. The jet is for her, her four children, her assistant,
00:07:25.500 two nannies, and her security personnel. Oh, it's hard to be a celebrity, you guys. Then hotel
00:07:33.020 accommodations. The company will provide one mutually approved suite for her and her children,
00:07:39.420 plus four standard rooms for her assistant, nannies, and security personnel. And it says about
00:07:45.180 the premiere here that she and one guest will be invited to the first U.S. celebrity premiere,
00:07:51.340 or the picture, if one is held. As we know, she at least brought Ryan, and I think he was allowed to
00:07:57.980 bring his BFF, Hugh Jackman. Maybe that was because there was extra space at this premiere, because they
00:08:03.980 put the director in the basement with his wife. So then they got two extra tickets. Maybe that's what
00:08:09.500 happened here. It doesn't say anything that if she doesn't agree with the director on anything,
00:08:14.700 that she has the power to put him in the basement of his own movie premiere. But as we know, that's
00:08:20.460 what she did. Here's another fun fact. The contract strongly implies that she may be wearing a wig.
00:08:28.380 It doesn't explicitly say that the character wears a wig, but in a paragraph 13 of the agreement,
00:08:34.460 it outlines that Blake Lively's approval right list is, amongst one thing, the wig maker,
00:08:41.740 Peter Owen. So she pre-approved the wig maker for the movie. So if all of Lily Bloom's here in the movie
00:08:50.380 was a wig, which I think it was, that makes it even funnier that she was promoting her hair products
00:08:58.460 during this promotional tour. I mean, it doesn't get better than this, you guys. Anyways, I will keep
00:09:05.020 you posted on this contract. As I said, I am not a legal expert, so it's not that easy for me to figure
00:09:11.180 out how to read a contract like this. I think you need to be an employment attorney to know exactly
00:09:18.140 what this means. But if I find out more, I will keep you guys posted, obviously. Also, we have to talk
00:09:25.020 about this Stephanie Jones situation. This is so funny. This is like the best of karma ever, you guys.
00:09:32.060 But before we get into that, I wanted to thank the sponsor of this video, Cowboy Colastrum. So lately,
00:09:37.740 I've been trying to take my wellness routine a little bit more seriously. I want better sleep
00:09:42.780 and cleaner food and all that stuff. But even with that, it doesn't always feel right. And sometimes I
00:09:48.940 feel I have low energy. I feel bloated. It's just not great. And that's why I wanted to try Cowboy
00:09:54.620 Cholestrum. And honestly, it's been a nice change for me. My digestion feels calmer,
00:09:59.980 and I recover faster after long days, and I just feel a little more balanced overall. If you don't
00:10:05.740 know, Cholestrum is packed with nutrition that help support your gut, immunity and recovery. Cowboy
00:10:12.780 Cholestrum, I love the name by the way, it takes a primal whole body approach to wellness. It's natural,
00:10:19.900 it's clean and built to work with your body, not against it. Cholestrum is often called
00:10:25.660 liquid gold. It's the first nutrition we get at birth. Packed with immune factor and
00:10:32.140 nutritions your body still craves today. I usually just mix one scoop of the vanilla
00:10:37.500 in just a glass of water. There's also a chocolate taste, and then you have the unflavored one. If you
00:10:42.860 just want to put it in your smoothie or whatever, Cowboy Cholestrum is just clean first-day cholesterol

00:11:11.740 do me a favor and say that I sent you to support my channel. Okay, let's just jump right into it. So
00:11:17.820 let's talk about Stephanie Jones and Jennifer Abel here. You know that Stephanie Jones is the owner of
00:11:23.180 Jones' work, who was the company who was hired by Baldoni and the Wayfair to do publicity for It
00:11:29.420 Ends With Us, and one of the employers there at the time was Jennifer Abel. And then, as you know,
00:11:34.220 Jennifer Abel left, and Stephanie Jones teamed up with Blake Lively. She took Jennifer Abel's phone,
00:11:40.140 gave the text messages to Blake Lively's team, who gave it to New York Times, and yes, the rest is
00:11:46.060 history. Anyways, so now Jennifer Abel has sued Jones' work for breach of contract, and she is
00:11:53.500 saying that all of this stuff that she's getting sued for now by Blake Lively happened while she was
00:11:58.300 an employer at Jones' work. Jones' work should really pay for her legal fees to fight Blake Lively.
00:12:07.660 This is where it gets so great, you guys, because now it looks like, most likely,
00:12:13.740 Stephanie Jones has to pay Jennifer Abel's legal fees if Blake Lively wins the case. So now, for
00:12:23.100 Stephanie Jones, she definitely doesn't want Blake Lively to win her lawsuit anymore. So she's really,
00:12:31.500 really screwed right now. I feel that she's proved so many times that she's not a good person, and the
00:12:38.380 karma of this just really makes me happy. So now it's not in Stephanie Jones' interest anymore to help
00:12:44.620 Blake Lively. It doesn't get better than this, you guys. I feel like always karma will come around and
00:12:51.580 people will get what they deserve in the end, and this is really what Stephanie Jones deserves. I love that
00:12:57.820 Judge Lyman is allowing this to happen. I think his rulings lately have been much more in the favour of the
00:13:04.380 of the party that we want to win here, you guys, and I really applaud him for doing the right thing.
00:13:09.740 I'm so happy that that contract was unsealed, and I'm so happy that Jennifer Abel is now allowed to pursue
00:13:16.620 her discovery of that whole Van Zandt-Sham lawsuit. Yeah, Stephanie Jones needs to find another job.
00:13:24.460 All right, you guys, so let's just jump into this Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban story here.
00:13:29.740 It says here that they reportedly lived separate lives for years before she pulled off a divorce
00:13:35.740 sneak attack. I find it actually quite believable that they have been living separate lives for a
00:13:42.060 while. You know, when you've been together for that long, 19 years, it's not like you'd spend two
00:13:48.300 months thinking about, oh, should we get a divorce now? Or, you know, it doesn't happen that fast. I think
00:13:53.900 even if someone is off sneaking around with someone else, you want to try and make things work.
00:14:00.700 And here, this is a very interesting twist, you guys. Here it says that Nicole and Keith's fairy
00:14:06.380 tale love story might have been a lot more complicated behind closed doors. New whispers claim
00:14:13.260 the couple lived separate lives under a mutually consenting arrangement for years. But when Keith
00:14:20.620 allegedly wanted to go public with his real romance, Nicole flipped the script. I find it a bit strange
00:14:27.260 that Keith wanted to go public and then stay married to Nicole. That makes no sense to me, I have to say.
00:14:32.620 But anyways, according to an insider spilling the tea to do more, the podcast, their marriage wasn't
00:14:39.020 exactly picture-perfect romance. It was allegedly more like a carefully managed arrangement. The source
00:14:46.220 claimed that this has been an open secret in both the film and country music scene that Nicole and Keith
00:14:52.380 had lived amicably separate lives for years. Their alleged philosophy, it says here, what happens on
00:15:00.140 film set and or music scenes stays there. Essentially, both parties were free to have their own entanglements
00:15:06.780 as long as they kept things low-key, meaning basically that they had an open marriage. I don't know if this is
00:15:13.100 trustworthy information, but it says here that Keith Urban reached a breaking point. According to the
00:15:20.380 source, he allegedly grew tired of the mutual consenting arrangement and decided he wanted to
00:15:25.660 live like an actual single man again. No pretense, no carefully curated PR image. As we've learned so
00:15:33.420 much from the Blake Lively Justin Baldoni legal feud here, we know that a lot of what we see from
00:15:39.020 celebrities are just like PR. It's just like a created image. So nothing surprises me anymore.
00:15:46.060 That's what I'm going to say. It says here that Nicole wanted to stay in this arrangement and she
00:15:50.780 allegedly wasn't clinging to some romantic fantasy, but rather wanted to maintain the stable facade.
00:15:57.180 Cynical, maybe. Calculated, definitely. And then it says here that Keith was really surprised by this
00:16:04.380 divorce sneak attack that came from Nicole. I don't think I believe that he was so surprised
00:16:11.180 by that. He says that the original plan, according to Whispers, was for a calm and diplomatic joint
00:16:19.180 statement to be released on a Friday. Nice and quiet. You know, when they announce things on a Friday,
00:16:25.020 they know the press is going to go easier on them because people don't really work that much during
00:16:29.500 weekends. So if you release something on a Friday afternoon, you know that it's going to get a little
00:16:34.460 less attention than it would if you released it on a Monday or on a Tuesday. But I will say this,
00:16:39.900 the fact that they didn't come out with a joint statement is proof that there's something that we
00:16:45.260 don't know here and there is a lot of tension going on. Yeah, so according to this source,
00:16:50.220 Keith was really blindsided by Nicole here, who dropped this news on a Tuesday, which is really one of the
00:16:55.980 the best days to drop a big story. And he says that she did that to maximize the attention.
00:17:02.300 So yeah, he's accusing her of using this for more headlines. Yeah, I don't know. We don't know yet.
00:17:08.060 We don't know where the truth lays yet. I will just keep on reporting in this and maybe we'll get to the
00:17:12.780 truth one day. Anyways, there's also a story here about Angelina Jolie and how she felt it was so
00:17:19.100 emotionally difficult to split from Brad Pitt and they're still fighting over this vineyard.
00:17:26.060 It's been nine years since their divorce and they're still fighting. I just don't understand
00:17:32.700 why people want to spend so much energy instead of moving on. They want to feud with their ex
00:17:39.260 and they both have so much money. I just don't get it. But apparently this is a really weak spot for
00:17:44.940 both of them because both of them had such a strong connection to this chateau. As you might
00:17:50.140 remember, Angelina Jolie sold her part of the vineyard without telling Brad and without his
00:17:56.540 permission because she's saying that she could do that without his permission. They didn't have an
00:18:00.780 agreement on that. And she sold her part to Alexei Olenek and the Stoli group. And Brad Pitt is furious
00:18:08.460 about that. And in this new filing that she filed on Monday, she is saying that she was forced to do
00:18:14.860 that because she needed the money. I don't know. I thought Angelina Jolie was really rich, but she's
00:18:19.260 saying here that she had to sell that because she couldn't afford to buy a new home in LA. And she said
00:18:24.380 that she let Brad Pitt have their LA home and she also let him use Chateau Miraval in France because she
00:18:32.780 couldn't bear to be back there again because that place, she had so many memories there and it was
00:18:38.620 really difficult for her to go back. And she wanted to protect her children from that. And so she's
00:18:43.820 saying in this new filing that the events leading to my need to separate from my ex-husband were
00:18:50.060 emotionally difficult for me and our children. And she says here that upon filing for divorce,
00:18:55.500 I left him control and full residency of our family home in Los Angeles and Miraval without
00:19:01.980 compensation, which I hope would make him calmer in his dealings with me after a difficult and
00:19:08.060 traumatic period. Post-separation, I immediately began to look for a new house for me and our
00:19:13.660 children, initially renting a home while looking for a more stable solution, she added. As you know,
00:19:19.980 Brad Pitt has sued her, saying that she wasn't allowed to sell her part of the vineyard without his
00:19:25.100 permission. And she's saying that she didn't even ask Brad for alimony or any other financial support.
00:19:31.820 So she was in the right when she did this. And she says that I was also very concerned about the
00:19:37.020 health of our children. And so for approximately two years, I declined work so that I could focus
00:19:43.020 my attention on caring for our children and their recovery. It's a little bit heartbreaking to read
00:19:48.300 this. She says that Miraval was one of the first major investments we made together, and it was a focal
00:19:53.420 point of our family life. We were married here, I spent part of my pregnancy here, and I brought our twin
00:20:00.620 children home there from the hospital. To have such a sudden break from my home and memories has been
00:20:06.620 hard, and it was especially difficult for the children to have their lives so disrupted." She's
00:20:12.140 telling the court here that she wants $33,000 from Brad Pitt because he filed this motion for her to
00:20:18.620 turn over her text messages in relations to the sale that she did of this estate. And she's
00:20:25.820 saying that she spent $33,000 on defending herself against this, and now she wants Brad to pay that.
00:20:31.340 I'm like, $33,000 is just so little money for these people. I just don't understand why they would fight
00:20:37.660 about this. I feel in some sense that they're not over each other completely because they know that
00:20:43.900 as soon as they just leave this, they're out of each other's lives forever. And now there's still a
00:20:48.140 little bit of connection here. I don't know if I'm wrong about that, but I just don't get it.
00:20:53.100 Why wouldn't Brad Pitt just sell his part, get out of there, find another chateau?
00:20:57.420 There are so many chateaus in France, and you can just start up another winery.
00:21:01.740 Anyways, you guys, that's it for me on a Friday. I hope you can enjoy your weekend,
00:21:06.540 and you have some amazing plans. I'll probably be giving you another update this weekend as well,
00:21:11.660 as I always do. So yeah, take care of each other. And again, if you haven't subscribed,
00:21:16.860 please do, and hit the notification bell, so you never miss an episode of Blossom Talk. And
00:21:21.420 I'll see you soon. Bye!
