Flaawsome Talk with Kjersti Flaa - Ep 19 Taylor puts the final nail in Blake's coffin

00:00:00.000 I'm guessing we're going to hear this within a few hours because I'm sure

00:00:03.560 someone is running down there right now.

00:00:11.980 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Sashdi Flohr, journalist, Hollywood truth teller

00:00:16.080 and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.

00:00:20.560 All right, I'm just sitting here just waiting for this tape to show up somewhere.

00:00:25.740 Okay, we have an update on this recording.

00:00:27.880 I was speculating on how this recording would be released.

00:00:32.720 As you know, the judge did rule a couple of days ago that the recording of Steve Sarawis,

00:00:40.100 Justin Baldonis, co-founder at the Wayfair parties, that that recording, due to public pressure,

00:00:49.820 should be released to the public.

00:00:52.700 And today was the deadline that Baldoni's team and Lively's team had to come together

00:00:58.540 and respond to this and give us a way that we could hear this recording.

00:01:04.180 So I was speculating if they would give it to TMZ or to people or whatever.

00:01:10.640 But now we know how we can get a hold of this recording.

00:01:15.460 So if anyone's in New York, you can go to the courthouse and ask for a CD.

00:01:24.160 I mean, are we living in 2025 or in 1990 here?

00:01:29.560 I'm guessing this is Blake's team's idea that they will give it to the clerk there, this CD,

00:01:35.200 and then the public can come and ask for it.

00:01:38.480 They will, it says here that the parties have conferred and agreed to provide the clerk's office

00:01:44.840 with copies of the physical audio recording in a CD format.

00:01:50.240 So if anyone still has a CD player, I don't have that.

00:01:53.840 I mean, why not just put it somewhere that people can download it online?

00:01:58.500 I mean, this is so ridiculous, but anyways, and then it will be distributed to or copied

00:02:03.500 for the public upon the clerk's office receiving such request.

00:02:09.300 Counsel for the parties confirm that the clerk's office is amenable to the foregoing approach,

00:02:15.340 which the parties agree provides public access to the audio file in the year of the file

00:02:19.520 being filed on the public dockets.

00:02:21.940 Basically, yes.

00:02:23.200 So if you're in New York and you want to get hold of this recording,

00:02:27.120 I would appreciate if you share it with me and with everyone else as well.

00:02:30.860 We need to hear this.

00:02:32.280 It's on a CD.

00:02:34.020 It doesn't say exactly when it's going to be available, but I'm sure it should be available now.

00:02:38.640 So I'm guessing we're going to hear this within a few hours because I'm sure

00:02:42.740 someone is running down there right now.

00:02:46.100 So stay tuned for more updates on this.

00:02:49.540 Anyway, so today I think it's time to put the final nail in the coffin

00:02:54.580 of Blake and Taylor's friendship.

00:02:57.560 Finally, I think Taylor had enough of all the speculations now,

00:03:01.580 so it's confirmed they're not friends.

00:03:05.220 I'll talk more about that in this episode.

00:03:07.120 And also I'll talk a little bit about how TMZ is helping Kevin Federline

00:03:12.020 to destroy Britney Spears. 0.99

00:03:14.640 They keep quoting his book every five minutes in a new article.

00:03:19.540 It's despicable.

00:03:20.800 Also, there's this really heartbreaking interview with Michael J. Fox, who was my biggest crush

00:03:27.760 growing up.

00:03:28.500 I love Back to the Future.

00:03:30.220 And I did watch his documentary and now he's done an interview.

00:03:33.880 And I think it's just such a great reminder to appreciate life and to appreciate when we're

00:03:40.040 healthy.

00:03:40.840 Okay, so a lot of people have tried to convince us lately that Blake and Taylor are still friends.

00:03:46.180 Because Taylor is known for her Easter eggs, it was the perfect opportunity for people to start

00:03:51.940 creating conspiracy theories about every little detail from her videos or from her songs that

00:03:59.180 could connect her to Blake and that could be some kind of evidence that they were still friends.

00:04:04.620 I believe that a lot of those conspiracy theories also comes from Blake's team because it's really

00:04:11.460 in Blake's interest here to pretend that they're still friends.

00:04:15.840 This scandal with Taylor Swift is worse for Blake's reputation than this entire Justin Baldoni lawsuit.

00:04:23.140 That's what I think.

00:04:24.000 If you think about the general public and what they read, the headlines that are out there,

00:04:28.400 this is so much more damaging for Blake.

00:04:31.860 Because this shows she's a bad friend and that's bad character and Taylor Swift has a lot of fans.

00:04:39.700 Anyway, so on October 9th, Dumont had a podcast where they had a source who revealed that the

00:04:47.520 stars may have met each other recently.

00:04:51.360 The source stated that the meeting was allegedly not tense at all and was all about friends catching

00:04:57.620 up with each other.

00:05:00.220 Seriously.

00:05:01.080 This must have been fed to them straight from Leslie Sloan, if you ask me.

00:05:05.800 And of course, there is no truth to it.

00:05:08.520 Also, keep in mind that Dumont is also repped by WME, the same management company that represent

00:05:15.800 Blake and Ryan.

00:05:17.080 If you don't know them, it's kind of a gossip site.

00:05:19.840 They have a big Instagram account and then they apparently have a podcast.

00:05:22.780 I haven't listened to it.

00:05:24.240 But let's finish this Taylor Swift business once and for all.

00:05:28.980 And I think this is why Taylor now has come out and said, you know, enough is enough.

00:05:33.220 And now a lot of different outlets have reported on this.

00:05:36.760 Page six is saying here that Taylor Swift has no contact with former bestie Blake Lively since

00:05:43.380 Justin Baldoni lost the drama.

00:05:45.260 They have zero contact.

00:05:47.200 While Instagram scuttlebutt.

00:05:48.840 I never heard that word from before, but I really like it.

00:05:51.920 Well, Instagram scuttlebutt account Dumont reported this week that the former friends

00:05:56.280 whose relationship was marred amid fallout with Lively's legal drama had a low key reunion.

00:06:02.900 But page six hears otherwise.

00:06:05.420 It says here that they had no contact.

00:06:08.600 A source tells us saying that the once tight pair haven't spoken since last winter when the

00:06:13.960 drama surrounding the case began unfolding.

00:06:17.180 I feel that this might be tree paint coming out there because this is not in Taylor's favor

00:06:22.680 that she's been connected to Blake again.

00:06:25.340 As you know, Taylor has received a lot of backlash from people who think that she might

00:06:31.280 be friends with Blake and people who think and speculated that the song cancelled was a

00:06:37.580 tribute to Blake.

00:06:39.540 And now I think she's just coming out there to say enough is enough.

00:06:43.020 Let's just like squash this rumor once and for all.

00:06:45.960 They also have another source here who also confirmed that they haven't spoken or had

00:06:50.500 any contact.

00:06:51.520 As you know, Taylor's reps have come out before and talked about this and said that Taylor

00:06:55.740 wished that Blake would never have dragged her into this.

00:06:59.100 And we have to remember, it all started with Blake dragging her friend into this.

00:07:03.240 It was not Justin who dragged her into this.

00:07:06.400 She was the one referring to her friend as my dragon.

00:07:11.140 And that word is apparently also something that Taylor really did not like.

00:07:17.880 And it's also been said many times through her reps that she feels used.

00:07:22.340 I don't know anyone who would appreciate to be called someone's dragon.

00:07:26.240 And they remind us here of another source who said this in August that for that Swift will

00:07:31.700 be forever furious at how Blake quite clearly was using her for clout and leverage in her

00:07:38.940 dealings with Justin.

00:07:40.120 She really hates that Blake would even think like that, let alone write the things she did

00:07:45.080 in that text.

00:07:46.420 So yes, of course, when you are one of the most famous pop stars in the world, you have

00:07:50.880 to protect yourself and you have to choose your friends really, really wisely.

00:07:55.060 And Blake was not a wise choice.

00:07:57.660 And it reminds me of that meeting that when it all started, that happened back in January

00:08:04.460 of 2024.

00:08:06.140 Now I'm thinking about it.

00:08:07.920 I think that Blake knew that Taylor was going to show up before this meeting was over.

00:08:13.420 So the meeting was between her and Justin and they were going to discuss this rooftop scene.

00:08:19.580 And then voila, Ryan Reynolds was just there.

00:08:23.180 And then before they finished the meeting, Taylor Swift just showed up.

00:08:28.160 I think Taylor was really caught off guard in that situation.

00:08:32.080 And she just got dragged into this conversation about this scene, which Justin has said later

00:08:38.620 on that he felt really bombarded.

00:08:41.040 And he was really caught off guard by being attacked by Blake and Ryan, convincing him that

00:08:46.300 their writing was better than the ones that was in the script.

00:08:50.500 And of course, he was pressured into actually choosing Ryan's, because now we know it was

00:08:56.340 Ryan who wrote that scene, to pick his version over the one they already agreed on that was

00:09:02.260 in the script.

00:09:03.320 So yes, I think definitely that Taylor was caught off guard.

00:09:06.680 And they also say here, you know, that she had nothing to do with the casting of young Lily.

00:09:13.280 Isabella Ferrer was on the red carpet being interviewed saying that, oh, she was so flattered that Taylor

00:09:19.200 had something to do with her casting and that they actually picked her for young Lily.

00:09:23.980 I think they hear that Taylor may have had some influence in getting her role.

00:09:27.040 Yes, she did.

00:09:28.380 Yeah, I know.

00:09:28.960 I don't even know if I'm meant to be saying it, but I'm saying it.

00:09:31.160 Yeah, she was a helpful part of the process of the audition, which I found out later after

00:09:36.140 I got it.

00:09:36.620 And that rocked my world.

00:09:38.300 Taylor said that she had nothing to do with that.

00:09:41.240 So that just shows how Blake has been leveraging and using her name to promote It Ends With Us.

00:09:47.140 And bottom line, of course, Taylor would never forgive that.

00:09:52.020 If you think about the relationship she had in the past and how she has made songs about it

00:09:58.400 and how she never really made up with anyone that she had a big feud with,

00:10:02.620 why on earth would she do that with Blake?

00:10:06.820 I think this is one of her biggest ever disappointments.

00:10:09.580 If this happened to me, if a girlfriend of mine did something like Blake did to Taylor

00:10:15.020 here, to me, I would never speak to that person again.

00:10:18.380 Rumors are also heating up about Blake and Ryan's relationship and how their marriage

00:10:23.080 is on the rocks.

00:10:24.500 But before I get into that, I wanted to thank the sponsor of this video, One Skin.

00:10:28.980 Okay, so I've been using One Skin for over six months now.

00:10:32.520 You might have seen these ads before from me, and that's because I really like and trust

00:10:37.840 this brand.

00:10:38.560 One of the reasons is because I actually started seeing it working straight away.

00:10:43.300 And as a journalist, I always do my research into brands, especially when it comes to what

00:10:48.060 I put on my skin.

00:10:49.680 With One Skin, my skin feels smoother and firmer, and I feel like I see a little bit of a glow.

00:10:56.100 I honestly didn't expect anything that I put on my skin to work this well.

00:11:00.580 I'm also super excited to try this scalp serum that they just sent me for my hair.

00:11:06.160 I'll keep you posted on that as well.

00:11:08.240 And the best part about this is that it's no fancy routine required.

00:11:12.500 You just cleanse, pat your skin dry, and apply twice daily.

00:11:16.360 This is for your face, and this is for your eyes.

00:11:18.500 I've been using it on my face, my neck, and my eyes, and I feel like my skin just looks 0.98

00:11:22.940 healthier and tighter.

00:11:24.640 And they're all about real science.

00:11:26.860 It's literally designed to target the root of skin aging.

00:11:31.120 No harsh ingredients is very important.

00:11:33.660 It's dermatologist tested and even approved by the National Eczema Association.

00:11:53.280 stronger, and more resilient over time.

00:11:55.560 For a limited time, you can now try One Skin with 15% off using my code FLAW, F-L-A-A,

00:12:02.260 my last name, at oneskin.co.

00:12:05.060 That's 15% off, oneskin.co with code FLAW.

00:12:09.580 After you purchase, they'll ask where you heard about them.

00:12:11.580 So please say that I sent you to support my channel.

00:12:15.680 Okay, so let's get back into Blake and Ryan's relationship.

00:12:18.900 It's been so long since we actually saw the two of them together.

00:12:23.760 Ryan has kept himself so busy with this touring of the John Candy movie, while Blake has been

00:12:31.600 home posting photos of baking goods, and herself coloring, and herself in a pajamas.

00:12:38.820 And yesterday, she posted some photos of flowers and another cake, while Ryan is out there on talk

00:12:46.480 shows telling jokes.

00:12:48.140 And she hasn't been with him on one single event to help him promote this movie.

00:12:54.660 When he was at the premiere here in LA, her sister was there instead of herself.

00:13:00.160 Either Ryan is asking her not to show up because he doesn't want her reputation to taint the movie.

00:13:05.800 And if that's the case, that's not really great for a relationship.

00:13:10.940 If Magnus would have told me, don't come to this event tonight because people don't like you,

00:13:15.160 I would feel like that was not great for our relationship if he would tell me something like that.

00:13:20.240 And I think Blake would really like to be there.

00:13:22.660 She loves the attention.

00:13:24.140 We know that.

00:13:25.040 And she's been very active promoting her hair care line lately.

00:13:29.140 She's been showing up at events and stuff.

00:13:31.180 So I don't think the reason is that she doesn't want to be seen out in public.

00:13:34.440 So I wouldn't be surprised if we hear something about them living separate lives pretty soon.

00:13:40.600 Also, I just saw in the Hollywood Reporter that Ryan is expected to talk,

00:13:45.080 to have a speech at this event that his company group Effort is doing in collaboration with WME.

00:13:54.260 So if you're ever wondering where WME stands when it comes to loyalty here,

00:14:00.340 it's pretty obvious.

00:14:02.400 WME represents both him and Blake.

00:14:05.160 And as you know, they used to represent Justin Baldoni, but not anymore.

00:14:09.780 Blake's agent was just deposed last week.

00:14:13.440 And a source that I have told me that he was not surprised that Blake Lively's agents

00:14:20.140 gave the testimony that he did.

00:14:22.980 He said something interesting.

00:14:24.500 He said, you know, if you're not telling the truth in a deposition,

00:14:29.960 you can always defend yourself with saying, I thought it was the truth.

00:14:35.560 So if a person says something that Blake Lively told them,

00:14:39.320 if Blake Lively told this person, her agent, that, oh, I don't feel comfortable about Justin,

00:14:45.040 he would say that.

00:14:46.280 Blake wasn't comfortable and there were things going on there.

00:14:48.920 And you can never be charged with perjury if you believe something to be true.

00:14:54.920 Even though we know some people are lying here,

00:14:57.760 they could always say that I believed it to be true.

00:15:00.740 And he also told me that, you know, just follow the money.

00:15:03.860 It's all about the money.

00:15:05.480 Why would they be on Baldoni's side here when they make tons and tons of money of Blake and Ryan?

00:15:12.740 Anyways, let's talk a little bit more about Kevin Federline and his new book.

00:15:18.740 I was really shocked today when I started reading the stories that TMC published

00:15:24.220 for the last like three or four days.

00:15:26.900 I think they have about 20 articles up and they're all from anecdotes from his book

00:15:33.400 where he's telling horrible things about Brittany as a mother, as a wife, as a family member.

00:15:42.500 And I feel very defensive of Brittany because as we all know at this point,

00:15:47.720 she is not well and she really needs help.

00:15:52.240 And what they're doing to her now, what the press is doing to her,

00:15:56.060 helping Kevin Federline promote this book that is just going to crush her even more.

00:16:01.740 I think it's so despicable and I think it's really dangerous.

00:16:05.040 And I think if something happens to her now,

00:16:07.320 I think all of these people are responsible for that.

00:16:10.060 And as I said yesterday, the reason for him publishing this book now is so obvious to me.

00:16:15.860 He's saying that because he's got the blessing of the sons.

00:16:19.120 Why would her sons want this information to be out there about their mother?

00:16:24.300 I don't buy it.

00:16:26.180 And I feel like so suspicious.

00:16:27.780 As I said, this happened just after child support ended.

00:16:31.460 And there's an article here on page six actually saying how much Kevin received from Brittany every month,

00:16:38.160 which wasn't that much.

00:16:39.440 I was surprised that he didn't actually get more.

00:16:41.660 He got $20,000 per month in child support.

00:16:45.400 And that's not a lot when you live in LA and you have to cover your kids' schools

00:16:50.440 and you feel like you need maybe some security or people to protect them.

00:16:54.880 So I understand that's not a lot.

00:16:56.540 But he also got another $20,000 for half of the duration of their 26-month marriage.

00:17:03.840 So he's saying here that he's not financially set.

00:17:07.900 And the money didn't stretch as far as you think.

00:17:11.000 He said that he needed rent, transportation, security, child care, and blah, blah, blah.

00:17:16.320 And now Brittany's come out again.

00:17:17.980 She keeps posting on X how devastated she is and how hurtful this is to her.

00:17:23.700 And by reading her messages there, I just feel like you can see from the way she's writing as well

00:17:29.920 that she's not in a good place.

00:17:32.180 And I just hope this won't be the brink for her.

00:17:35.160 And I feel like the way that Kevin is saying that he's worried about her. 0.89

00:17:39.900 And it's just so hypocritical.

00:17:42.440 I really hope no one buys this book.

00:17:46.100 Anyways, let's talk a little bit about Michael J. Fox.

00:17:49.440 I saw this article the other day in the Times UK.

00:17:54.360 And as I said in the beginning of this episode, I was such a fan of Michael J. Fox.

00:17:58.780 I watched Back to the Future five times in a movie theater in Norway.

00:18:04.240 We didn't have many movies coming out at that time.

00:18:06.660 But I remember I watched it five times.

00:18:08.940 I bought a ticket five times.

00:18:10.660 That never happened before.

00:18:11.600 I had the biggest, biggest crush on him.

00:18:13.340 And I was devastated when I found out that he was so much shorter than me

00:18:17.160 when I went to Madame Tussauds in England with my mother.

00:18:20.760 Anyways, so I watched his documentary.

00:18:24.540 I think it was two years ago, maybe.

00:18:26.820 It really opened my eyes to this disease

00:18:30.720 and what he actually has been able to conquer

00:18:34.720 and how far he has actually come.

00:18:39.460 In this interview, he reveals even more.

00:18:41.740 He was diagnosed when he was 29 and now he's 64.

00:18:46.720 And he says there's no timeline.

00:18:48.640 There's no series of stages that you go through.

00:18:51.060 Not in the same way that you would, say, with prostate cancer.

00:18:54.980 It's much more mysterious and agmatic.

00:18:57.980 There are not many people who have had Parkinson's for 35 years.

00:19:02.560 I'd like to just not wake up one day.

00:19:04.940 That would be really cool.

00:19:06.280 I don't want to be dramatic.

00:19:07.520 I don't want to trip over furniture and smash my head.

00:19:10.360 And then he talks about all the things that he broke in his body

00:19:14.880 by falling over and other things that comes with the disease.

00:19:19.160 He said, in a three-year period, I broke my elbow.

00:19:22.220 I broke my hand.

00:19:23.800 I got a big infection in my hand and I almost lost my finger.

00:19:27.740 At one point, he lost the ability to play the guitar.

00:19:31.960 And he says, it's terrible.

00:19:33.200 I had all these little bones broken and it got infected.

00:19:36.660 And they had to cut the bones out because the bones got infected.

00:19:39.900 I broke my other shoulder that I had replaced.

00:19:43.700 I broke my cheekbone.

00:19:45.260 I had a plate there.

00:19:47.140 Am I missing something?

00:19:48.860 When I read things like this, I feel it's just such a reminder for everyone

00:19:53.440 that when we are healthy, that we really have to appreciate every day.

00:19:58.560 And I have to say, I'm so impressed with Michael J. Fox.

00:20:02.380 He's actually has a role coming up.

00:20:04.940 Even he's going to be in one episode of Apple TV plus shrinking.

00:20:10.440 That's coming out next year.

00:20:12.200 And he lost so much of his mobility.

00:20:14.760 And he says, I take it easy now.

00:20:16.500 I don't walk that much anymore.

00:20:18.140 I can walk, but it's not pretty.

00:20:20.220 And it's a bit dangerous.

00:20:21.640 So I just rolled that into my life.

00:20:24.060 You know, no pun intended.

00:20:26.180 I think his sense of humor is one of the things that I noticed in the documentary

00:20:32.020 that he has such a warm and amazing sense of humor.

00:20:36.880 And also his wife who's been there for him this entire time.

00:20:41.440 I just feel like they're such great role models.

00:20:44.100 I just wanted to share that story with you guys because I think it's so powerful.

00:20:48.360 Also, Oscar just wanted to say hi.

00:20:50.560 All right, Oscar.

00:20:51.560 He just woke up from a nap.

00:20:53.500 He wanted to say that he was so excited when he heard that Diane Keaton was giving $5 million

00:20:59.340 to her dog in her will.

00:21:02.080 Right, Oscar?

00:21:02.900 What would you spend $5 million on?

00:21:06.740 I think chicken.

00:21:07.860 I love that she loved her dog so much.

00:21:12.100 There's so many pictures of her and Reggie.

00:21:15.200 And yeah, I feel like people that are dog lovers, they have a special place in my heart.

00:21:20.980 And yes, so here's Oscar.

00:21:23.080 Some people were saying we need to see more of Oscar.
