00:00:25.320 And what I found will blow up Blake's case.
00:00:36.700 Hey, welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Tja Stiflor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.
00:00:44.520 Did Blake Lively go to Fashion Week by herself and no one wanted to talk to her?
00:00:48.940 Let's look into this viral video that everyone's been talking about.
00:00:52.960 Also, now that we have the timeline and we have all this evidence, all these text messages and emails,
00:00:58.620 I wanted to go in and look a little bit closer to what happened during the premiere of It Ends With Us.
00:01:05.140 And what I found will blow up Blake's case.
00:01:08.800 Also, Hilary Duff was a guest at Call Your Daddy last week.
00:01:12.440 And guess what she said about being on the set of Gossip Girl.
00:01:16.160 Okay, so let's look at this video.
00:01:18.140 Blake Lively by herself at New York Fashion Week, sitting there next to, almost next to Ellen Pompey,
00:01:26.100 who doesn't care about her at all.
00:01:28.400 Everyone's freezing her out.
00:01:30.120 A lot of you guys sent me this video and I looked into it and I was like,
00:01:34.340 I've seen this outfit before.
00:01:36.480 And yes, so this video is actually from 2023.
00:01:41.860 It was from Michael Kors Fashion Show, Spring 2024 in New York.
00:01:47.640 For some reason, Daily Mail also reported on this as a new thing that just happened.
00:01:52.940 But I think there will be a lot more press around Blake if she showed up at Fashion Week right now.
00:01:58.520 What we can conclude from this video is that no one is eager to sit next to Blake.
00:02:03.900 There are empty seats next to her.
00:02:05.340 I don't know if someone came and sat down later.
00:02:07.760 But it's clear that Ellen Pompey and the other people on that row were not interested
00:02:12.720 in including Blake Lively in their conversation.
00:02:16.640 So yeah, it's not a new thing that celebrities didn't want to hang out with Blake.
00:02:21.360 She had a reputation for a long time.
00:02:24.300 I've spoken about this before here on my show,
00:02:27.800 that especially when Blake Lively's now new experts are saying that she received all this backlash
00:02:34.180 and there were so many negative comments about her that they're trying to convince us
00:02:38.520 that Blake all of a sudden got negative attention.
00:02:41.560 But that's not the case at all.
00:02:43.420 Anyways, here is the article that was in Elle magazine in 2023 with that photo of Blake Lively.
00:02:50.740 So yes, it's not new.
00:02:52.560 Anyways, as I said in the beginning here,
00:02:54.280 I really wanted to take a closer look at what happened behind the scenes
00:02:57.620 during the premiere of It Ends With Us.
00:03:00.380 Because now we have so many text messages, so many emails,
00:03:04.500 so much communication surrounding this crisis that happened around the time when the movie came out.
00:03:11.560 What my big question is after reading all of this,
00:03:14.560 that I will read some of it for you, obviously.
00:03:16.540 But what my big question is,
00:03:18.680 what was Blake's motivation for freezing Justin out like this?
00:03:22.920 Did she really think that would help the movie?
00:03:26.400 Because all she cared about, according to herself and according to Ryan in his text messages,
00:03:31.760 was what was best for the movie.
00:03:33.940 But still, she wanted this gossip to be out there amongst the public.
00:03:39.940 She wanted the public to speculate.
00:03:42.700 And we can see now from all this communication between Sony executives,
00:03:47.920 between publicists, between journalists,
00:03:50.580 between Justin Baldoni and his team,
00:03:52.660 that everyone was really worried how this narrative could hurt the performance of the movie.
00:03:59.300 So why was Blake so desperate to get this narrative out there?
00:04:05.220 That is my big question, and I don't have the answer to that.
00:04:09.480 If you think you have the answer to that, please let me know.
00:04:13.040 The only solution that I can come up with is that she totally miscalculated the public,
00:04:18.740 and she thought that if she could get ahead of Justin and get her narrative out first,
00:04:25.500 then people would believe her.
00:04:28.300 Because maybe, I'm just speculating,
00:04:30.880 maybe she was worried that Justin and Jamie Heath would leak the information
00:04:35.960 that she basically took over this movie with Ryan Reynolds,
00:04:40.100 and that would put her in a bad light.
00:04:42.000 So she thought, okay, better to get ahead of things
00:04:44.800 and explain to the public that Justin is a creep.
00:04:48.320 Here is a conversation that Ange Giannetti from Sony had with Alex Sachs,
00:04:53.940 the producer of the movie, and Danny Magin, another Sony person.
00:04:58.800 As you know, I spoke about Alex Sachs yesterday as well.
00:05:02.040 She did criticize Justin in her deposition,
00:05:04.980 saying that he was being, like, had anger issues on the set,
00:05:08.480 because once he was really upset and he hit a chair with his hands.
00:05:12.500 But anyways, let's look into this text exchange between these three people.
00:05:16.740 So this is after Blake decided to tell the rest of the cast to unfollow Justin.
00:05:23.520 The only reason for her to do that was so that the public would start speculating.
00:05:28.060 I can't find any other reason for her to do that, for everyone to do that at the same time.
00:05:33.360 Alex Sachs is saying here to the others,
00:05:35.440 just got this from our hair department head.
00:05:38.120 For some reason, she was the one who sent this to them,
00:05:41.040 and Ange, who is here called Home, says the F word.
00:05:45.660 And Alex Sachs says, this is now realer.
00:05:49.860 Danny says, oh, the unfollowing has really picked up today.
00:05:54.900 And Ange says, rolling stone, yeah.
00:05:58.140 And then Alex continues to say, oh, why did everyone have to fucking do that?
00:06:02.900 And Danny says, it's the dumbest thing.
00:06:05.700 Why?
00:06:06.960 Alex says, wait an effing month, guys.
00:06:10.680 Like, why did you have to unfollow him right now?
00:06:13.720 So this is dated on the 7th of August, two days before the premiere of the film.
00:06:19.700 And as you can hear here, everyone is so upset.
00:06:22.660 Like, why did Blake do this?
00:06:24.900 Couldn't she just wait to unfollow him?
00:06:27.140 Alex continues, come on.
00:06:29.600 And then she says, it's Blake, I am sure.
00:06:33.420 And Danny says, tell Blake.
00:06:35.700 And so bad.
00:06:37.880 And Alex says, should I send her this?
00:06:40.780 And Danny says, I don't know if that helps.
00:06:43.500 So they are obviously really upset here about how Blake is asking everyone to unfollow Justin.
00:06:49.300 And they are, of course, because they are invested in this movie, they don't want this to take over the narrative.
00:06:56.640 They don't want people to talk about this and not the movie.
00:07:00.040 Interestingly enough, I showed yesterday from Alex Axe, the producer's Instagram, that she posted pictures from the premiere two days later, all the photos of the cast.
00:07:13.540 And she excluded Justin Baldoni herself.
00:07:16.840 Which makes me believe that she is a very wishy-washy person.
00:07:21.620 Because she added to this fire herself by not adding Justin into that reel.
00:07:28.500 And as I read for you yesterday, there were questions there saying, where is Justin?
00:07:32.780 Why is he not there?
00:07:34.300 And of course, he was there, but he wasn't posing with them.
00:07:37.380 But if she didn't want this narrative to get more feed, then why didn't she just add a picture of Justin in there herself?
00:07:44.020 I also noticed that she's still following Blake and Ryan and not Justin or the Wayfair parties.
00:07:50.500 And here is more proof that Blake really wanted this to blow up in the press.
00:07:57.880 And of course, Leslie Sloan was on it.
00:08:00.920 This is a message exchange that she has with Sarah Nason at the New York Post.
00:08:05.300 Sarah Nason is Melissa Nason's sister.
00:08:09.160 Melissa Nason was hired, as you know, by Justin Baldoni to do crisis PR for him.
00:08:15.580 And her sister works for the New York Post.
00:08:17.680 And she has a very close relationship to Leslie Sloan.
00:08:21.880 And here they're discussing an article about Justin.
00:08:25.160 And this is the day before the premiere.
00:08:29.500 Leslie says, I think you should put up the story.
00:08:32.260 Justin's camp called Daily Mail, blaming Blake on it, says Sarah.
00:08:38.040 I need artist source.
00:08:39.480 Whole cast isn't speaking with him.
00:08:41.620 And they had spectate screening and they had spectate screening rooms at premiere.
00:08:46.700 Everyone but him was with the cast.
00:08:49.900 His cult and their own room.
00:08:52.260 And then she says, Stephanie is a lying C-word.
00:08:54.940 Stephanie is the publicist that owns Jones' work that Justin Baldoni's team hired to do PR for him.
00:09:03.740 One of the employees there, Jennifer Abel, left that company right after this.
00:09:09.580 And that's when Stephanie Jones took her phone and gave it to Blake Lively's team.
00:09:14.720 So after this, Leslie Sloan, Blake's publicist, and Stephanie Jones, Justin's ex-publicist,
00:09:20.560 ended up being on the same side.
00:09:23.000 It's so messy.
00:09:24.560 And as I read from these text messages before from Leslie Sloan, she hates Stephanie Jones.
00:09:30.820 She keeps saying how horrible she is and calling her the C-word to all these journalists.
00:09:36.200 Talking about a smear campaign, by the way.
00:09:38.480 And then she continues to say, Blake is a producer on the film and she has put her heart and soul into this.
00:09:43.280 She has said this to everyone.
00:09:45.440 Please find, quote, the film is so important and needs to be seen.
00:09:49.740 Sarah Nathan is just like, okay, I'm trying.
00:09:51.860 And then Leslie says, Daily Mail is holding.
00:09:55.200 I scared them.
00:09:57.340 Stephanie's getting a call from studio.
00:10:00.000 A call.
00:10:00.760 Blake worked so hard.
00:10:02.260 I want this to work.
00:10:04.020 So she's admitting here that she terrorized Daily Mail.
00:10:07.280 She scared them until doing the story that they were working on.
00:10:11.900 And as I'll show you shortly, they did change the story completely.
00:10:15.860 Completely.
00:10:16.860 And then again, Leslie says, Stephanie is really bad.
00:10:20.000 And then Sarah says, yeah, she's a horror show.
00:10:22.440 And Leslie says, they know your story and are appreciate your holding.
00:10:27.020 Okay, says Sarah.
00:10:29.200 I have you in a good light, says Leslie Sloan, trying to manipulate her.
00:10:33.480 I have you in a good light.
00:10:35.080 Don't change that.
00:10:36.500 And then Sarah says, let me know when to go.
00:10:39.580 I was trying my best to hold for Friday night, Saturday a.m.
00:10:43.200 So she's giving Leslie Sloan the power here to decide when the story should go live.
00:10:49.860 Just pointing that out.
00:10:51.300 It's outrageous.
00:10:53.540 She is the journalist.
00:10:55.840 This is in her power.
00:10:57.520 And she's giving all the power to Leslie.
00:10:59.520 I am appalled by all of this.
00:11:01.240 I've spoken about this before, by the way.
00:11:03.000 But, I mean, I just can't, like, believe this happened.
00:11:07.900 Sarah, again, says that Stephanie is the worst.
00:11:12.260 And holding for a beat, but I do think Stephanie is going to do something to be annoying.
00:11:16.860 Did I tell you I heard three things, says Sarah.
00:11:20.320 One, Blake felt he looked at her while she was breastfeeding.
00:11:24.180 Two, he lingered too long while kissing her in a scene.
00:11:27.560 Three, told her she smelled good.
00:11:30.680 All a bit creepy, Sarah says.
00:11:34.000 Let's speak when you land.
00:11:35.660 First of all, why is Sarah Nathan telling Leslie Sloan how she feels?
00:11:40.780 She's a journalist.
00:11:42.060 She should be completely objective here.
00:11:44.780 And then Sarah says, my sister, who is Melissa Nathan, Justin Baldoni's crisis manager,
00:11:49.980 is going to call you when you land.
00:11:52.140 She's now being brought in by Jen Abel, who reps Justin.
00:11:56.160 She hates, hates Stephanie with a passion.
00:11:59.120 She wants to chat.
00:12:01.180 Fans have proof of huge feud between Blake and Justin.
00:12:04.660 So, as you can see here, it's very clear that Leslie Sloan was out there planting stories about Justin.
00:12:11.080 We already know that.
00:12:12.880 As you can hear, Leslie Sloan said that she scared off Daily Mail to do this story.
00:12:18.120 And here is the text exchange that she had with Daily Mail and James Vitushka right after she had this exchange with Sarah Nathan at the New York Post.
00:12:28.800 So, James from Daily Mail is saying, have talked about some stuff that came in from reporters,
00:12:33.820 re-Blake and her new movie drama, on plane, like what, says Leslie.
00:12:40.220 Well, it's a lot text, but it's regarding props on the set, problems on the set involving her and Justin Baldoni and fallout over that with Blake being labeled difficult and a power struggle existing.
00:12:53.320 Your info is totally off, says Leslie Sloan.
00:12:57.180 And James says, this is, there's clearly something going on because it's called from three reporters and none of them are me.
00:13:03.880 I'm just the only one not afraid to reach out to you.
00:13:07.440 So, this information has reached them from several other people, apparently.
00:13:13.220 Your reporters are so wrong, says Leslie.
00:13:16.020 And Jane says, okay, I'm just being straight up with you because that is how I roll anyways.
00:13:20.060 I'm coming to you because I actually like Blake and don't want Daily Mail to F with her.
00:13:25.960 One of them said that Blake and Ryan insisted on rewriting the movie and another that she got very opinionated over directorial issues.
00:13:33.800 Do you want to ring me when you land and I'll tell them that they need to hold off on anything for a few because her rep is unavailable and need to at least get no comment?
00:13:43.300 No one knows that we speak, just that you would read emails from me in response.
00:13:48.220 Like I said, though, the reporting is that there were issues between her and Justin as well as others and that Justin found it difficult to work with her.
00:13:55.980 One of the reporters known is close with Stephanie Jones because they used to always get Tom Brady Giselle shit.
00:14:02.760 And Steph reps him, I believe.
00:14:05.380 I told them she's awful and to not reply, rely on anything she says.
00:14:11.160 So, also, James Svetushka thinks that Stephanie Jones is awful.
00:14:15.300 Everyone hates Stephanie Jones for some reason.
00:14:18.080 I promise she's lying, says Leslie Stone.
00:14:21.380 They will not look good for your, this will not look good for your sights.
00:14:25.840 James says, can you give me anything at all on what the issue is then if it's not her and it's him?
00:14:30.560 And she says, no, I'm on the plane and this needs to hold.
00:14:34.620 Sounds good.
00:14:35.500 I'd like to clear this up, says James.
00:14:38.720 And Leslie says, he went on Today Show and praised her at this a.m.
00:14:42.040 How dumb are you people in Stephanie?
00:14:44.740 Why would that make them dumb if Justin went on a TV show and praised Blake?
00:14:50.720 And James says, give me a ring when you can.
00:14:53.040 And Leslie says, thank you.
00:14:54.080 Did you see the Today Show?
00:14:55.260 Then at the end here, James says to Leslie, I've convinced Emma, who is probably one of the other reporters, to kill the reporter's bullshit Blake info.
00:15:03.560 And she asked them to reveal to her who their sources are and how they would be private to such info.
00:15:10.400 I shut it down and we are going to discuss tomorrow what we are going to do since Stephanie Jones fed us lies.
00:15:17.620 So Leslie Sloan convinced James Svitushka over at Daily Mail that Stephanie Jones told them lies.
00:15:27.120 And she was the only one with the truth.
00:15:31.040 And therefore, the Daily Mail published this story on the day of the premiere of It Ends With Us.
00:15:40.320 It says here, Justin Baldoni was chauvinistic and borderline abusive on the set of It Ends With Us and sparked fury over his refusal to consider the perspective of co-star Blake Lively's character while filming scenes that did this depicted abuse, insiders have claimed.
00:16:06.000 Now, insiders, Leslie Sloan, obviously, have revealed the concerning truth about the tension, telling Daily Mail that Blake and Justin clashed over his dismissive attitude to her input while they were filming scenes that involved abuse.
00:16:23.460 The insider claimed that Justin only focused on what he believed was the abusive male viewpoint and had a very chauvinistic approach to the topic during scene depicting abuse.
00:16:33.000 Justin failed to consider Blake's character's perspective, instead focusing solely on what he believed was the abusive male viewpoint, they said.
00:16:41.460 They used the word abusive in this article probably 25 times.
00:16:46.620 We don't have the text messages with these lines that Leslie fed him.
00:16:50.160 So I am assuming that this is what happened during that phone call when he said, call me.
00:16:55.080 And then they continue to say, Justin almost became the character in the sense that some women on set felt he was borderline abusive again to them and that he was unprofessional and unapologetic.
00:17:07.260 This is exactly what I said the other day to try and explain how some people are still supporting Blake because they believe Justin is royal.
00:17:16.000 And this is how that narrative started shaping when Leslie Sloan planted this in the Daily Mail, saying that Justin Baldoni was method.
00:17:27.820 We have seen so many examples now from the set of It Ends With Us, from behind the scenes footage, that Justin was not method.
00:17:36.140 He was really in and out of character and working as a director.
00:17:40.640 You can't be method if you're also directing a movie.
00:17:43.720 How does that work? Is he going to be a royal directing the movie then?
00:17:47.760 It's so dumb.
00:17:49.300 And Daily Mail published this.
00:17:51.460 She goes on here, or Leslie or the source goes on here to say that directing a film so serious and so important about domestic abuse without allowing the women to be included in this process is disturbing.
00:18:01.820 She is claiming that the women were not included in the process.
00:18:05.320 This is the funniest part, I think.
00:18:07.740 After everything we've seen now, and after Blake Lively's mail, and after Blake Lively's letter to Producers Guild of America, of everything that she did, and here Leslie saying that Justin did not allow the women to have a say.
00:18:22.980 And this is what's troublesome for me, because they say Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Blake, Justin, and Colleen for comment.
00:18:30.440 There are no comments from Justin's team here, and of course we know that this is coming right from Leslie, so they are in touch with a representative for Blake, but they're pretending that this source is coming from somewhere else.
00:18:45.420 It's not. It's Leslie.
00:18:46.860 And as you know, there are a lot of text exchanges between Leslie Sloan and James Svitushka.
00:18:53.900 James Svitushka is the Daily Mail reporter who got fired after all of this, and he did a sworn statement to the court, and then later on he retracted that sworn statement saying that he was pressured, and he was supporting Leslie Sloan's version of event.
00:19:13.760 And then Daily Mail fired him and said, you know, you shouldn't get involved.
00:19:17.900 He first apparently allowed Justin Baldoni's team to use one of his text messages in their counterclaims, but then he said that it was taken out of context, and he didn't mean what he said, and it's just a big mess.
00:19:30.340 The day before this article was published on the Daily Mail, Leslie Sloan also spoke to Dani over at Sony.
00:19:37.620 She's informing Dani here, saying that page six is going as they know about Daily Mail.
00:19:42.320 Supposedly, Stephanie Jones is planting stories against Blake.
00:19:46.120 So she's saying to Sony here, blaming Stephanie Jones and the wafer parties of planting stories about Blake,
00:19:53.060 when that story I just read from was about to come out the next day with all her information that she fed to the Daily Mail.
00:20:01.660 And then Dani says, no, they're going today? Yeah, like now, says Leslie. Shit, says Dani.
00:20:09.280 Stephanie has been calling around saying Blake stuff, Leslie says.
00:20:13.580 What is the Daily Mail story, Dani asks.
00:20:17.000 And Leslie says, not up yet, but saying that Blake and Ryan insisted on rewriting the movie,
00:20:22.340 and another that she got very opinionated over directorial issues, and that Justin found her difficult.
00:20:29.420 Blah, blah, blah. Page six is now going as they heard about this.
00:20:33.460 I'm so pissed. Oh, Justin posted the trailer.
00:20:38.280 Like, it's his movie. He posted the trailer.
00:20:41.580 But it's so funny that she's repeating facts here about what actually happened.
00:20:46.100 And she's like, oh, they said that Blake and Ryan insisted on rewriting the movie.
00:20:51.580 Well, they did. And now we've seen it.
00:20:53.880 And Blake admitted that Ryan rewrote that scene.
00:20:57.540 And then Leslie says again here, I have page six holding.
00:21:01.700 Please call Stephanie and tell her to cut it out, as if the Daily Mail runs it will not good.
00:21:06.840 I texted Josh to shut it down as well.
00:21:10.020 Josh Greenstein is from Sony, one of the heads of Sony.
00:21:14.160 So Leslie is getting involved with everyone at Sony here, pretending, telling them that it's Stephanie Jones planting all these stories.
00:21:22.000 And then Leslie says to Donnie as well that Stephanie is an asshole.
00:21:26.160 I mean, she's told everyone.
00:21:28.940 She badmouths Stephanie Jones to every single person here.
00:21:33.180 If anyone did a smear campaign against anyone here, it's for sure Leslie Sloan smearing Stephanie Jones.
00:21:40.120 It almost makes me believe that she was the one behind that site, behind that page, smearing Stephanie Jones.
00:21:48.440 And Leslie says, I asked Josh, Josh Greenstein over at Sony to call Stephanie and say,
00:21:53.600 I would just say you were informed that she has been speaking with sites about the bad blood between Justin and Blake.
00:22:00.280 Say this will hurt the film if true.
00:22:02.360 And they're sure it's just a rumor.
00:22:04.220 But your team is totally on top of this.
00:22:06.680 So she's saying here, Leslie Sloan, that it only hurts the movie if Blake is put in a bad light.
00:22:12.600 But if Justin is put in a bad light, that doesn't hurt the movie.
00:22:16.840 And then Leslie is telling Donnie that Justin just brought in a crisis consultant.
00:22:22.120 At least she's a friend of mine.
00:22:24.160 Sad I do that too, so this will be interesting.
00:22:27.740 So Melissa Nathan and Leslie Sloan were friends.
00:22:32.400 This is so complicated and so messy.
00:22:37.800 So as you know, Melissa Nathan is the crisis manager that Leslie Sloan said in her deposition
00:22:43.020 when she was asked about Melissa Nathan, she said that the reason why she believes that
00:22:48.980 Justin Baldoni smeared Blake Wiley was because he hired Melissa Nathan.
00:22:54.440 That automatically makes it a smear campaign, according to Leslie Sloan herself.
00:23:00.640 And here she's saying, Justin brought in a crisis consultant.
00:23:04.320 At least she's a friend of mine.
00:23:06.500 Sad I do that too, so this will be interesting.
00:23:10.960 So she's admitting that she also does crisis consultant.
00:23:15.800 But when she does it, it's not smearing, obviously.
00:23:19.020 And Donnie says, stop it, seriously?
00:23:21.360 And Leslie says, yeah, that means guilt.
00:23:24.000 And they are afraid of me.
00:23:25.900 And all I want is to make this go away, Leslie says.
00:23:30.640 The day before that article was posted in the Daily Mail.
00:23:34.220 And Leslie says, I won't do anything to hurt the film.
00:23:36.980 Everyone worked too hard.
00:23:38.600 I want this to stop.
00:23:40.500 Jennifer thinks Stephanie did it.
00:23:42.420 And Donnie says that Wayfairer told Stephanie Jones to step down.
00:23:47.340 Do not plant any more stories.
00:23:50.000 So yeah, again, Leslie Sloan is working everyone.
00:23:53.500 And then blaming everyone for the work that she's doing.
00:23:57.020 And as I said, I wonder how people reacted when they saw that article come out in the Daily Mail.
00:24:05.400 And here we go.
00:24:06.620 So this is how Sony executives reacted to that article that was planted by Leslie.
00:24:15.040 This is from Tom Rotman, one of the executives.
00:24:18.240 He said, of course, but it's out now.
00:24:20.840 Can't undo it.
00:24:22.240 Talking about this article.
00:24:23.620 But as this story reads, it's not about abuse.
00:24:26.200 It's about a man not listening to a woman and how scenes are played.
00:24:29.560 So creative differences.
00:24:31.200 He's trying to tone it down, saying it's not that bad for Justin.
00:24:35.060 It's just about creative differences.
00:24:37.600 I disagree with that.
00:24:38.940 The wording that was used in that article made me, as a reader, after I finished reading that,
00:24:45.020 think that, OK, this is not about creative differences at all.
00:24:49.320 But again, it sucks, he says, because it's not the success, it's the story.
00:24:53.960 So as everyone calls us, which they will, you just downplay it off the record.
00:24:58.940 Oh, this is all internet gossip, silliness.
00:25:01.780 Movie is a giant hit and all are super proud of it.
00:25:04.600 J.D. Vance didn't have sex with a couch either.
00:25:06.800 The internet is not a place for reality, he says.
00:25:10.340 And then Tara Grant from Sony says, well, as much as the conversation cannot be rooted
00:25:16.140 in abuse, the better.
00:25:17.880 That's where the rights versus wrong comes in.
00:25:20.480 But yes, none of it is great.
00:25:22.500 We are tracking how the conversations evolves.
00:25:26.520 Tara again is saying, it's all an effing disaster.
00:25:30.040 None of the who is right or wrong matters at all.
00:25:32.960 The mess is the story now and will define the film.
00:25:37.160 No one can watch the film in the same way.
00:25:39.960 Tragic.
00:25:40.760 And Tara also says here, this may not achieve what Blake wants it to with the one source.
00:25:47.060 And then she puts Leslie in there.
00:25:49.620 She obviously knows Leslie planted this, sounding defensive in response to people calling Blake
00:25:55.340 a bully.
00:25:56.040 That makes Justin sound much more measured and reasonable than I'm sure Blake wanted.
00:26:02.300 So people were reacting to this story saying that, hey, Blake is the bully here.
00:26:07.920 So they didn't get the reaction that they wanted from the public.
00:26:12.580 Even with this language in this article, people were still like, well, Blake is a bully.
00:26:19.200 And this is what Tara Grant sends to Josh Greenstein, also from Sony.
00:26:24.040 Josh is one of the big bosses over at Sony.
00:26:26.680 And Tara, also from Sony, says, all this would do is continue to reinforce that what everyone
00:26:33.260 is saying, that Blake is a bully.
00:26:37.280 She says, this is an email Leslie got.
00:26:40.340 Yeah, she's not getting support, even with Daily Mail and New York Post.
00:26:45.400 She orchestrated all this drama in a totally unsavvy and amateur way and basically threatened
00:26:54.380 you and Sony and now is mad it backfired on her.
00:26:59.740 Better than Alternative because she and her team are playing with fire with all this borderline
00:27:05.020 abusive language.
00:27:06.880 That's where shit can spiral and it hasn't taken hold at all.
00:27:11.340 So this big plan that Leslie Sloan and Blake Lively put together of smearing Justin so
00:27:19.040 Blake Lively would get the public support and Justin's version of events would never
00:27:24.520 come out because everyone knew that he was a creep, it didn't work.
00:27:30.200 Yeah, it's so fascinating to me now that we know the truth here and how all these publicists
00:27:36.340 were going behind each other's backs, especially Leslie Sloan.
00:27:40.400 I don't know the things that Stephanie Jones planted, but as you know, Stephanie Jones is
00:27:46.620 no longer working with Justin Baldoni, obviously.
00:27:50.820 And as I've spoken about before, everything comes back to Stephanie Jones.
00:27:55.200 She was the one who took her employee's phone, Jennifer Abel's phone, and gave it to Blake Lively
00:28:01.440 because she wanted revenge on Jennifer for leaving her company.
00:28:06.060 If she wouldn't have taken her employee's phone, this lawsuit would never have happened.
00:28:11.960 So her actions triggered this enormous snowball that is now costing people millions and millions
00:28:18.120 and millions of dollars.
00:28:19.860 Yeah, so much manipulation, so many lies, and it never ends.
00:28:25.720 Anyways, as I said at the beginning of this episode, someone sent me, thank you so much,
00:28:29.880 sent me an interview that Hilary Duff did with Call Your Daddy, where she talked about being
00:28:36.380 on Gossip Girl.
00:28:37.720 She had a part in Gossip Girl, I don't know for how many seasons, but she arrived on the
00:28:43.540 set when everyone else knew each other pretty well, and she described that as this.
00:28:48.620 And by the way, I grew up with Penn Badgley.
00:28:50.660 You did?
00:28:51.360 Yeah.
00:28:51.800 Okay, so you were like, you knew him immediately when you stepped on set.
00:28:55.360 Yeah, but honestly, that was a tough, I think they were kind of all sick of each other by
00:29:00.840 the time I got there.
00:29:01.760 It wasn't like, oh my god, we're hanging, it's fun.
00:29:04.380 I was like, oh, I'm showing up to a job, and...
00:29:07.520 Right.
00:29:08.220 You're like, tension is pretty high right now.
00:29:10.380 It felt pretty high, yeah.
00:29:12.100 Everyone was sick of each other.
00:29:14.320 It was funny, I showed the other day a clip of Leighton Meester being interviewed by her
00:29:18.060 co-star Penn Badgley, both of them also from Gossip Girl, and we know Penn allegedly dated
00:29:24.020 Blake Lively.
00:29:24.840 Some people think that was just a fake relationship to get more attention around the show.
00:29:30.060 I don't know the truth about that, but also, as you know, Leighton Meester had a almost
00:29:35.240 public feud with Blake.
00:29:36.800 Everyone knew that they weren't getting along, and now Hilary Duff is explaining that it wasn't
00:29:42.360 a very nice set to step into.
00:29:44.700 So anyways, that's it for me today, you guys.
00:29:47.260 I hope you enjoyed this episode, and if you haven't subscribed yet, please do hit the
00:29:50.960 notification bell and all that good stuff, and I'll see you very soon.
00:29:55.580 Bye!
