00:00:00.000 I do think one of these voice memos are actually evidence of when Blake started turning on Justin.
00:00:11.940 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Jashti Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller and your voice
00:00:16.900 of reason in a town built on delusion. First of all thank you guys so much for all your support,
00:00:23.680 for your beautiful messages and comments on my videos and I wish there was a way that I could
00:00:28.540 share all that love back to you guys but I just wanted you to know that I really truly appreciate
00:00:33.760 you guys so much you have no idea. Anyways there are two new voice memos that's been released and
00:00:41.200 three new videos. All of this evidence is coming from Blake Lively's team. I'm not sure what they're
00:00:48.520 trying to prove here. As always when they're sharing some new evidence it's always supporting Justin
00:00:55.120 somehow and I feel the same about this. Anyways there's two voice memos from Justin Baldoni to
00:01:01.200 Blake Lively and of course the media has jumped on this and there's headlines everywhere that Justin
00:01:08.080 called Blake beautiful. Anyways I do think one of these voice memos are actually evidence of when
00:01:15.560 Blake started turning on Justin. Also there's three more videos that they released and guess what they're
00:01:22.940 all from that dancing scene that we've seen a million times and what they're doing now is just
00:01:29.540 zooming in so that we will be convinced that Blake felt uncomfortable. And let's take a look at Blake
00:01:37.620 Lively's expert witness Jennifer Freed. This is mind-blowing. This expert can never survive at trial
00:01:47.800 and I'll tell you why. And guess who showed up in Jeffrey Epstein files? Ari Emanuel. Remember that guy
00:01:56.200 from WME the agency who fired Justin Baldoni and was proud about it? He said publicly that Justin was a
00:02:05.720 bad guy if he did all the things that she accused him of. And now it turns out that Ari Emanuel is a bad
00:02:13.400 guy. According to newly released emails Ari Emanuel was dating a Russian model from Jeffrey Epstein's
00:02:21.880 ring. It's all so dirty and guess what? He was married to his first wife at the time. Yeah I guess
00:02:29.100 you could call it karma. Anyways enough of that let's get into these new recordings. So as I said there are
00:02:34.760 two recordings. One is about three minutes long and the other one is about two minutes long. I'll play
00:02:39.400 both of them for you. I just wanted to give you some context first. So this first recording is
00:02:45.040 Justin sending a response to Blake Lively. She has already sent him some photos from some fittings
00:02:51.840 of the from the wardrobe of It Ends With Us. We all know what that wardrobe looked like and I think
00:02:58.420 Justin deserves a medal for pretending that he actually liked this. Anyways he's saying here that
00:03:04.600 it gave me the chills when I saw these photos obviously because he was so excited to see her as
00:03:11.400 Lily at this point. And he also said you look beautiful. He knows that he needs to tell Blake
00:03:17.380 Lively all the time that she's beautiful because she's an actress and she needs constant validation.
00:03:24.900 We also know that she's been very insecure about her look, about her body. So the fact that he's saying
00:03:30.700 that she's beautiful he's just saying that to feed her ego. But anyways so TMZ picks this up saying
00:03:37.380 Justin Baldoni, Blake you're so beautiful. I got the chills. It sounds like she's so beautiful that he
00:03:45.260 got the chills. That's not what he says in this voice memo. I will play it for you as I said. He's saying
00:03:51.040 that seeing those photos gave me the chills because you know it means that we are about to shoot this
00:03:57.300 movie that I worked for for five years. While TMZ makes it look like he thought she was so beautiful
00:04:02.380 that he got the chills. Anyways a lot of other outlets also pick this up. I don't know if this
00:04:07.200 was why Blake Lively released this tape because it only makes Justin look like a really nice guy who's
00:04:12.680 very very supportive of her and everyone's making headlines that Justin Baldoni said that Blake Lively
00:04:18.260 was beautiful. I mean it's such a non-story but I guess they're kind of proving here you know
00:04:22.560 they used to have a good relationship the two of them. So what really happened here? I think we're
00:04:28.660 going to figure that out later in this episode. I'll tell you why. In this voice memo you'll also hear
00:04:33.180 Justin Baldoni talk about young Lily and how he thinks that he found the perfect actress for this role.
00:04:40.940 He says that he went through like thousands of of tapes. A lot of young actresses wanted this role
00:04:47.400 and he's torn between two people. One more established actress and Isabella Ferrer who we
00:04:53.500 know that they ended up casting for this role. Okay so I'll play you this voice memo now. I think it's
00:04:59.260 about three minutes and 19 seconds. It seems like Justin also is a person who loves to leave really long
00:05:05.600 voice memos to people. Hey Blake I hope the fitting was super successful. Thank you for sending those
00:05:13.000 pictures. That was really cool. I was in the the department head meeting and they came through
00:05:18.240 and I was like waiting for them to load and I legit got the chills when I saw it and uh you look
00:05:23.860 beautiful. It's gonna it's gonna work so well. Okay um uh I would love your genius marketing brain here
00:05:33.080 and also your EP brain. Um so I we first of all we got 2600 submissions from around the country for
00:05:42.160 Young Lily which was incredible. We had a whole team of people sorting and watching and really just
00:05:48.260 anybody who vaguely resembled you uh and who could act a little bit made the list. I did a big callback
00:05:55.260 for a few days and um and we got it down. Um there is uh here's here's the interesting embarrassment of
00:06:05.980 Rich's uh predicament. So uh before we announced you and you know probably for a couple years Abigail
00:06:13.600 Cohen was who a lot of the young fans wanted to be Lily. Um she looks so young and of course that
00:06:20.920 wasn't the movie that I was ever going to make or interested in making. Um but of course uh she
00:06:27.560 wants it so bad and she's been auditioning and um she's beautiful and she's a she's a great actress
00:06:34.100 but really doesn't look anything like you. Um her hair and her look is definitely what I was kind of
00:06:40.680 modeling what I was hoping we could achieve with the wig which worked for you. But you know I really
00:06:46.680 don't want anything to take us out of the movie. And so I am um I'm vacillating here because it's
00:06:53.420 also a genius marketing hack to cast her as Young Lily because then in some ways you're giving a lot
00:07:00.760 of the hardcore fans what they wanted and what they didn't know they want. Both of you guys in the same
00:07:06.800 film. So just from a marketing perspective I'm definitely like oh I see the benefit. I see the
00:07:12.920 benefit. But then I found this young woman named Isabella Ferreira and she's here in New York. She's uh
00:07:19.500 she just uh graduated from Carnegie Mellon. She's a she's a beast. And she as soon as she came on the
00:07:29.440 screen when I watched it I was like oh I could see young you in her. And she's got depth and um she can
00:07:39.380 I can I can tell she can do anything. And I was so excited working with her and reading her.
00:07:44.240 So of course I'm you know I'm torn because the first time I'm going to see
00:07:48.000 you know in the reflection um the way that I'm kind of doing the flashbacks is when you show up in
00:07:55.400 that first um in your bedroom the first time and I rack focus to the reflection it's going to be
00:08:01.900 Young Lily in the reflection. And we're introducing the audience to our storytelling device at that
00:08:08.480 time. And seeing her in there you will legitimately go oh wow that how'd they do that or that she
00:08:16.360 looks just like Blake. Seeing Abigail there is just a bit of a suspension of belief. And um and so
00:08:24.500 I'm gonna pray and meditate on it tonight but uh I wanted you to know the background before I sent you
00:08:30.440 the links. They're both great. Both of them could do fantastic. Both would uh would make the movie
00:08:38.280 great for different reasons. And um would love your would love your brilliant mind. I'd love to love
00:08:44.820 to hear your thoughts. And generally what I do here is I pray and I meditate and uh what comes to me is
00:08:50.020 the decision I go on. But I I would love to hear what you think. I'm gonna talk to Sony about it
00:08:55.340 tomorrow as well and get their thoughts. Okay um yeah give me a ring or a text after you watch
00:09:02.240 whenever that is today tomorrow. And um I'll talk to you soon. Yes as you could hear Justin was just
00:09:08.180 being really nice here. He wanted to show Blake Lively that he really supports her and he wants
00:09:13.640 her opinion. And he's also comforting her saying that I really love your wardrobe. We know that Blake
00:09:20.840 Lively went four hundred and thirty thousand dollars over budget on that wardrobe that looks like a
00:09:27.860 five-year-old who dressed herself. Or as some people pointed out back then I remember they were
00:09:32.960 looking at that episode of Friends when Joey was wearing all of Chandler's clothes on top of each
00:09:38.100 other. And they're like that's what Blake Lively looks like. And I have to say there is a resemblance
00:09:42.600 there. But anyways we later learned that when Blake Lively was caught by paparazzi wearing the wardrobe
00:09:49.020 she got so much backlash online and it really freaked out Sony who put pressure on Justin and said she
00:09:56.860 can't be wearing these clothes. It's ridiculous. People are slamming her online. We need to do
00:10:02.240 something about it. And we know that they were supposed to have a crisis meeting about her wardrobe
00:10:06.040 as well. So to me as I said all I can see here is a guy who wants to collaborate. And how Blake Lively's
00:10:14.000 team is going to use this against him I have no idea. As I said in the beginning of this episode I feel
00:10:20.960 like every time Blake Lively files some new evidence to support her it ends up supporting
00:10:26.980 Justin. Okay so let's get to this second recording. I think this is when Blake Lively started turning on
00:10:34.820 Justin. Hear me out on this one. But before we get into that I wanted to thank the sponsor of this video
00:10:40.440 Upside. Financial resolutions are great and we all have them after the new year. But let's be honest
00:10:47.340 budgets don't just reset after January 1st. Upside is a completely free app that helps you get free
00:10:54.380 cash back when you either buy groceries, buy gas, go to a restaurant, all the things that you're already
00:11:02.240 paying for anyways. They have over 100,000 participating locations. I just go on the app
00:11:07.900 wherever I am and check around me if there's anywhere that I can earn cash back from. The other day I used it
00:11:14.760 here at my local grocery store and I got 17% cash back. That's a lot. It's a win-win and it's free.
00:11:24.580 You only save money and I received the cash back right after my purchase. What I really like is that
00:11:30.060 it's actually real cash back. It's no points or expiring credits. It's money that I can transfer
00:11:35.880 straight back into my bank account. Up till now Upside has given back one billion dollars to its
00:11:42.600 users. To find out how much you can earn download the free Upside app and use promo code SHASHTI
00:11:48.720 my name and that also gives you 25 cents back for every gallon for your first tank of gas. That's 25
00:11:55.680 cents back for every gallon on your first tank of gas. Use promo code SHASHTI. Okay so let's get to the
00:12:01.740 second recording here. So this recording is Justin reacting to Blake's new version of the rooftop scene.
00:12:10.260 You know that infamous rooftop scene that Blake bragged about writing herself and it turned out that
00:12:15.840 Ryan actually wrote it. Well she sent it to Justin and he reacted to it. As you can hear from this
00:12:23.200 recording which is about two minutes long he's trying to accommodate her wishes but at the same time
00:12:29.280 you can hear that he's a little bit reluctant here but he's trying to tell her in a really nice way.
00:12:34.840 So I'm going to play this for you right here and then I'm going to tell you what my thoughts are after.
00:12:39.300 Hi sorry I haven't responded. I believe it or not I took 24 hours to be a normal person.
00:12:48.960 One of my best friends just happened to be in town right as my family was leaving and he actually
00:12:56.580 showed up. I picked him up at the airport as I was saying bye and we spent the day and night together
00:13:02.920 and went and saw Seinfeld and distracted me because I was sad as shit yesterday. And then we spent the day
00:13:10.820 together and I was just with actually with Hasan Minhaj who was going to play Marshall and we were all just
00:13:16.880 hanging out and hanging out and it's nice to be normal for a second and not just
00:13:21.440 just obsessed with our movie. But yes so I apologize for not getting back to you. I did read them and I laughed
00:13:30.660 and I just want to say first of all I'm appreciative of your passion and the process and your ideas and
00:13:38.800 you're the spirit of collaboration and I know for a fact like they just feel it in my bones
00:13:45.920 just how excited I am to work with you just as a creative because you give a shit and that's so
00:13:54.180 fucking cool. And you're smart and you're funny and you're all the things and you're clearly a great
00:14:00.380 writer. And so yeah so all in all I just wanted to start with that. I think that it's really good.
00:14:06.200 I laughed. I my gut tells me it's going to be a combination of of this and we're going to find it
00:14:13.520 and what was there. I want to make sure I want to be mindful to not add too much in terms of page
00:14:18.620 count because we're already it was already like a 10 or 11 page scene. But what I like about it is
00:14:23.520 the banter and the wittiness and I can see I can see I was smiling as I was reading as I can see you
00:14:29.020 and I know exactly what you want to do and what you're trying to do and I want that for Lily.
00:14:33.880 I want Lily to have that because I think it makes it that much more powerful to see that woman you
00:14:43.740 know not just some 22 year old you know fresh out of college but to see that woman end up in this
00:14:51.420 relationship. So yeah so I'm just excited to to workshop it and play around and to find it and
00:14:58.100 and I think we're going to find it together and you know I'll loop in Christy who's my writer and
00:15:04.080 okay as you hear Justin said I need to run this by Christy Hall the writer of the movie. Justin never
00:15:12.380 bragged about being a writer by the way although if you remember the message that Blake sent to her
00:15:18.380 friend Taylor Swift she said to Taylor oh he thinks he is a writer now. So that message that Blake sent to
00:15:27.740 Taylor asking her to come to her penthouse and convince Justin that this version of the rooftop scene
00:15:34.180 is much better than the original one that was sent a few days after Justin sent her this message.
00:15:41.940 Then all of a sudden Blake Lively is referring to Justin as my doofus director and as a clown who now
00:15:50.100 thinks he is a writer. So what happened? Did she get so annoyed with him because he wasn't super
00:15:56.740 enthusiastic about the rooftop scene that she now thinks that he is a doofus director just because of
00:16:03.900 that? Is this the tipping point in their relationship when things started getting sour? I am guessing
00:16:10.380 Blake told Ryan like Justin isn't too keen on it on this scene that you wrote and Ryan was like oh my god
00:16:16.720 he's such a doofus director and he doesn't know what's best for this movie. This scene is amazing
00:16:22.500 and I wrote it and you better tell him off because he doesn't know what's best for this film and that's
00:16:28.880 what I think happened. It's funny how Blake is saying that oh he thinks he is a writer now when she's not
00:16:35.020 really a writer but she's pretending that she is because she's telling him that she wrote that scene
00:16:40.860 and as you know that scene was so long it was so dumb. I think that scene itself ruined the
00:16:46.500 entire movie. I mean it's so bad and it's so Ryan Reynolds. Anyways let me know what you think. Do you
00:16:52.380 think this is when Blake turned on Justin? I haven't seen any evidence before that when she's calling him
00:16:59.300 names behind his back. So I think this is the first evidence we see that things started getting a little
00:17:05.140 sour. Anyways as I said Blake's attorneys also attached three new videos. This is so stupid. So they're
00:17:12.620 still pounding on this dancing scene and saying look Blake Lively is so uncomfortable here. So what
00:17:19.860 they basically did here it looks like they just zoomed in on the footage that we already have
00:17:25.100 saying like hey look I don't know I've tried to look at all the videos and I can't see anything
00:17:30.000 inappropriate here. It's just the same stuff. We're watching two people in character and sometimes
00:17:35.420 out of character because Justin was directing the movie. So he had two roles at the same time here.
00:17:40.560 So that's why he went in and out of character and it's very clear to me when he's out of character.
00:17:46.140 To me it's clear from a filmmaker's perspective Blake Lively should never be out of character
00:17:52.780 in this scene. She should just be in this moment in this scene being Lily Bloom. But she's the one
00:17:59.320 who switches on and off and she seemed nervous. I have to say she seemed nervous but I don't think
00:18:04.420 that's because of Justin. I think that's because she has an issue with intimacy and it's very clear
00:18:09.740 that she feels uncomfortable being close to someone. And as you know she said to Justin
00:18:13.900 let's talk instead of just looking at each other because that's much more romantic. And he's like
00:18:20.200 no I think it's very romantic to just look someone in the eye. And she's like oh Ryan and I never do
00:18:26.020 that and you're a sociopath for doing that with your wife. Anyways it's crazy but they think this is
00:18:31.480 going to prove something. I don't know it's so dumb. Okay so let's look at this expert witness that
00:18:37.800 Blake Lively found. Okay so this is Jennifer Freight and Jennifer Freight invented DARVO. Remember that
00:18:44.860 was all over the media when she filed her lawsuit and he filed his countersuit against her. Her lawyers
00:18:52.440 were like this is DARVO. So DARVO stands for deny, attack, reverse victim, offender. And Jennifer Freight
00:19:02.120 came up with this. I think this was around me too that she came up with this term saying that if you
00:19:08.220 are denying accusations against you and then you attack a person for accusing you of something then
00:19:14.780 you try to switch the roles of the victim and offender. Anyways as I said this was quoted everywhere.
00:19:25.340 So now when they reached out to Jennifer Freight to be an expert witness for Blake Lively
00:19:31.400 and she said yes and then she started bending the facts of this case to fit into her theory. That's
00:19:39.500 what she did and it's so obvious. So this entire report is based on facts and evidence that Blake
00:19:47.280 Lively's attorneys gave to Jennifer Freight and they forgot to give her one very important document
00:19:54.200 and you can guess what that is. That is that PGA letter, the Producers Guild of America where Blake
00:20:01.180 Lively was bragging about everything she did on this movie, that she was in full control of every
00:20:08.000 aspect of this production. They forgot to give that letter to Jennifer Freight and Jennifer Freight
00:20:14.700 is writing this entire report based on the fact that Blake Lively was just an employee
00:20:20.120 and she had no power. Well it turns out if everything that Blake Lively is saying in that PGA letter is
00:20:27.180 true, she could never have been an employee. She had to be a contractor. I've heard a lot of lawyers online
00:20:34.060 talking about this specific thing when it comes to this case and how it can totally make Blake's case
00:20:39.960 collapse. Anyway so the foundation of this report is wrong from the start and how she's trying to make
00:20:46.940 Darvo fit into this case is quite interesting. So she's saying like for example when Justin Baldoni
00:20:54.800 is telling friends or agents or anyone in his inner circle in text messages that he doesn't understand
00:21:02.260 what she's accusing him for and this is wrong and we need to defend ourselves. She's saying that's
00:21:08.280 Darvo because he's defending himself from this allegation. Darvo. So she's basically saying that
00:21:16.000 denial becomes abuse automatically and when you defend yourself that's proof of guilt. Even those
00:21:24.440 private text messages that Justin and Jamie Heath had with other people discussing this that is framed as
00:21:30.900 psychological harm to Blake. So she's basically saying that you don't need to prove anything as long
00:21:37.860 as you just deny the allegations and you are trying to defend yourself that means that you're guilty.
00:21:43.720 All these things together is why this report and why this expert witness for Blake Lively
00:21:48.960 can never survive a trial. They're not going to bring this expert witness to trial because she
00:21:54.320 can't defend this. So Darvo was really designed to defend real victims. Powerless victims that were
00:22:01.540 punished for speaking up. And when everything is Darvo nothing really is. It's so obvious to me that
00:22:07.700 they only hired this witness for PR purposes. There's no other reason why they wanted her.
00:22:13.500 Just the same way as they hired Sigrid McCowley who used to represent Jeffrey Epstein victims.
00:22:20.340 They hired her also only for PR purposes. She's an attorney but she's not doing any legal work for
00:22:26.780 Blake. She's just doing PR work for her. And they did the exact same thing here. Surprise surprise.
00:22:33.440 In my opinion Jennifer Freed is just diluting her own theory here. She makes her own theory worth
00:22:41.120 nothing. And this is so damaging for real victims. And I have to say I'm truly shocked to learn about
00:22:48.860 all these especially women who are willing to sell their soul to protect someone like Blake Lively.
00:22:56.280 Someone that's so rich and famous and someone who's proven again and again and again that she is not
00:23:02.560 an honest person. Anyways that's it from you guys. I hope you enjoyed this episode. Let me know what you
00:23:08.580 think in the comment section and share, like, hype and all that good stuff. And of course if you haven't
00:23:14.940 subscribed yet that would be awesome if you could do that and check if you've been unsubscribed.
00:23:19.680 That happens a lot as I keep saying. And also hit the notification bell so you never miss an
00:23:24.220 episode of Flawsome Talk. And I'll see you soon. Bye.
