00:00:00.000 This is just so freaking juicy.
00:00:08.420 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk.
00:00:10.240 I'm Sashdi Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,
00:00:13.020 and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.
00:00:17.380 Guest who was not invited to Ryan Reynolds' premiere last night.
00:00:22.840 His wife, Blake Lively.
00:00:24.680 She was busy being photographed a few blocks away carrying coffee.
00:00:30.000 And by the way, did Blake plant an Easter egg about her health yesterday?
00:00:34.440 Or was she trying to do that through those photos where her and Ryan and her sister and
00:00:41.000 niece were photographed in New York City?
00:00:43.440 Yeah, let's look at those details.
00:00:46.100 Also, regarding Mayday, Mayday, nothing screams Mayday louder than Ryan Reynolds at the red
00:00:53.260 carpet of his premiere yesterday.
00:00:56.020 Have you seen anyone looking more stressed out than this guy?
00:01:00.000 And we also have to look at this interview he did with Extra
00:01:03.940 and his reaction when the reporter is asking him
00:01:08.520 about that beautiful, sweet birthday wish to Blake Lively.
00:01:14.260 This is priceless.
00:01:15.900 Also, we have an amended complaint from that Daily Mail reporter
00:01:21.520 who's suing the Daily Mail for firing him.
00:01:24.140 In these new documents, we can see how Blake's publicist, Leslie Sloan,
00:01:29.640 was trying to harm Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper?
00:01:34.660 Why was she trying to spread vicious rumors about the couple
00:01:39.340 while Blake was getting help from Bradley Cooper to take over the movie
00:01:43.780 and Gigi Hadid showed her support on the red carpet of Deadpool vs. Wolverine?
00:01:49.600 This is just so freaking juicy.
00:01:53.660 Anyways, let's get into it.
00:01:56.100 First of all, thank you Rachel for sending me this photo.
00:01:58.900 I totally missed this. So she sent me this photo, one of the pictures that were in the New York
00:02:05.320 Post yesterday, from when Blake and Ryan were showing a united front for the paparazzis that
00:02:12.600 they called to take photos of them. Anyways, when you look at this photo, look here what Blake is
00:02:19.880 trying to show us by pulling down her overall. It looks like a little medical device. It almost
00:02:28.380 looks like a small heart monitor or something like that, but it's clear that she wants it to
00:02:34.140 be visible with what she's wearing and how she's pulling down her pullover like this. As Rachel,
00:02:41.620 who said this, suggested, is she looking for sympathy here that we are going to start speculating
00:02:47.420 about her health? Is that why she was wearing this and showing it off like this? And as some people
00:02:53.960 mentioned yesterday this overall was so big was she hiding like a device under there or something
00:02:59.720 i have no idea these are just speculation but let me know what you think what do you think this
00:03:04.760 thing is that is sticking up from blake lively's overall here i feel like all her outings now are
00:03:10.800 starting to look a bit similar to hillary baldwin i don't know if you follow her she is just too
00:03:18.000 much and now Blake again was out yesterday while Ryan was busy attending a premiere Blake was out
00:03:25.620 getting coffee and getting something that looks like matcha and a snack it looks like she was
00:03:32.400 running several errands here to make sure that the paparazzi's got enough pictures of her because
00:03:37.800 first she's carrying this matcha thing and then she's carrying a coffee cup so it's pretty obvious
00:03:44.960 that she wanted to be seen here and of course Daily Mail picked this up saying Blake Lively
00:03:50.120 layers up in a cozy fall ensemble as she stepped out in New York after being trolled by Candace
00:03:56.920 Owens. It's so funny how Daily Mail keeps starting off these headlines like in a nice impulsive way
00:04:04.440 and then they trash her at the end of the sentence. They did the same thing yesterday where they said
00:04:09.020 Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds put on a united front as they step out in New York City for the
00:04:14.500 first time since humiliating payout from Justin Baldoni. Anyways, they're saying here that Blake
00:04:21.340 was spotted out in New York on Tuesday, just hours after Candice Owens took a cheeky jab at her by
00:04:27.700 posting a selfie with Justin Baldoni. I showed that selfie yesterday. Candice Owens ran into
00:04:33.480 Justin Baldoni at the airport in Iceland and talked about it on her show as well. And it says
00:04:39.060 year the actress looked ready for fall wearing a cozy gray knit cardigan and a matching skirt
00:04:45.120 as she stepped out days after the details of her surprisingly low payout from Baldoni were revealed.
00:04:51.620 And then they're talking about how much her outfit costs like anyone cares. Her ballet flats
00:04:59.180 are $950. Who would pay $950 for a pair of flats? I mean that is sick. Also she's wearing a Chanel
00:05:08.080 bucket bag from fall winter 2026 pre-collection worth six thousand seven hundred dollars and
00:05:16.920 she's also wearing chanel sunglasses according to the daily mail here it's so interesting how
00:05:22.480 she's trying to be relatable in all these photos where she looks kind of i don't know her outfits
00:05:28.280 are not screaming glamour if you ask me and then all of it is super expensive and that is definitely
00:05:35.140 not relatable at all anyways it also says there that meanwhile ryan was later seen attending the
00:05:40.640 premiere of his new comedy movie mayday at amc lincoln's lincoln square without his wife they've
00:05:48.300 been at each other's premieres the last couple of years always blake was there at the deadpool movie
00:05:55.320 ryan was there obviously at it ends with us and he was also there supporting her for another simple
00:06:00.940 favor the premiere in New York last year and so the fact that she's not there is obviously because
00:06:08.060 they didn't want her to be there because all the attention would be on her anyway I think that
00:06:15.340 Blake definitely wanted to go to this premiere she wants to be out and about looking glamorous
00:06:23.160 being in the spotlight smiling she's smiling so much these days by the way in contrast to her
00:06:30.460 husband if you look at the way he's posing on the red carpet at the premiere yesterday he looks so
00:06:38.540 uncomfortable he looks really thin as i said yesterday and his beard is gray he looks like
00:06:45.540 he aged a lot the last six months and you know that he knows when he's standing there posting
00:06:52.280 in front of all of these photographers he knows that all of these people have read his private
00:06:57.840 text messages where he is bullying and threatening people in the industry to support him and to
00:07:04.260 support Blake Lively's takeover of the movie and support them in ruining a man's life. He knows
00:07:12.040 that all these people know all these things about him and all of them are trying to set up a trap
00:07:18.040 for him so he will talk about it. And that is exactly what this reporter from Extra did yesterday.
00:07:26.120 I remember this reporter she was also interviewing Justin Baldoni on the red carpet for It Ends With Us.
00:07:32.660 I showed a little clip of that yesterday actually and she interviewed Ryan and Kenneth Branagh for this movie
00:07:40.240 and kudos to her for just putting on this fake friendly face when what she's really after is some juice on Blake and Ryan.
00:07:50.940 You can tell from this video that they posted on YouTube that that is the angle of this interview.
00:07:57.700 It says Reynolds on his sweet birthday tribute to wife Blake Lively.
00:08:03.540 So obviously she asked about this sweet birthday tribute trying to compliment Ryan for his tribute to his wife,
00:08:12.640 one day late by the way, for her birthday.
00:08:16.040 And look at how Ryan is reacting to her question.
00:08:20.940 Have you seen anyone ever look more uncomfortable getting a very simple question like that?
00:08:27.820 I've just asked lastly, from your partner in crime, you have beautiful words for him,
00:08:31.660 for your real-life partner in crime, her birthday. Yo, all the guys are taking notes.
00:08:35.900 How did she react?
00:08:36.780 Not the all the guys are taking notes, you know, old married guy says happy birthday.
00:08:42.460 No, it's a, it's a, I love, we, you know, we have the succession of birthdays that all happen in like
00:08:47.740 like August, September, October, December.
00:08:50.380 It's just like, oh, my God.
00:08:52.320 Yeah, it's just like this endless kind of row of them
00:08:54.820 that go right through Christmas as well.
00:08:56.440 So it's, yeah, there's just, you don't pop the balloons.
00:08:59.560 You just put them away.
00:09:00.800 Okay.
00:09:02.340 That, I think, is a wonderful metaphor for life.
00:09:05.760 Yeah, pop the balloons.
00:09:06.680 You make me not want to pop my balloons.
00:09:10.100 You make me a better person each and every day.
00:09:12.640 Oh, my gosh.
00:09:13.820 He just wants to leave his own body and get out of there.
00:09:18.400 The way he's just looking down, his hands making all these nervous gestures, touching his face.
00:09:25.320 Of course, just completely not answering the question.
00:09:28.680 He just goes on around about all the other people in his family who has birthdays now.
00:09:33.440 So they don't even throw out the balloons.
00:09:35.360 They just keep them and bring them in again.
00:09:37.760 Like his wife's birthday wasn't important at all.
00:09:40.420 It's just a part of all these other birthdays.
00:09:42.640 So they just brought the balloons out of the cupboard and just put them out.
00:09:46.340 Yeah, he did not want to defend this post in public.
00:09:50.720 He does what he always does, trying to make a joke of it.
00:09:53.780 And he's not answering the question, obviously.
00:09:56.140 And he knows that this is a trap.
00:09:59.000 He knows that this reporter is going to use whatever he says in this conversation from that question as rage bait.
00:10:08.700 And already the comment section is on fire.
00:10:11.740 And I think there's definitely been conversations between Ryan and Apple here saying that keep Blake Lively out of this.
00:10:20.820 We do not want her to hijack this movie by just being your wife.
00:10:27.020 Because we know whenever you mention her or if she shows up anywhere near this premiere, it's going to be about her and it's going to bring so much negativity to this movie.
00:10:37.120 So keep your wife out of this.
00:10:38.960 So even though this reporter is trying to package this as like a big compliment to Ryan,
00:10:45.620 she is not new in this game and she knows exactly what she's doing right here.
00:10:49.760 And so does Ryan.
00:10:51.300 And thanks to Kenneth Branagh sitting next to him,
00:10:54.140 saving Ryan in this moment, like trying to protect him here.
00:10:58.600 It's so obvious to me what's happening.
00:11:01.200 Kenneth has been so nice about this entire thing.
00:11:05.460 I saw this morning on Instagram as well.
00:11:07.580 There was another interview with Kenneth popping up when he talks about how generous Ryan Reynolds is.
00:11:13.120 I mean, he deserves an Oscar for being such a good liar.
00:11:17.480 That being said, I do believe that Kenneth Branagh is a good guy.
00:11:21.860 Anyway, it's so interesting how this keeps happening from all the Blake and Ryan friendly outlets because they know they are adding fuel to the fire anytime they post anything about Blake and Ryan.
00:11:35.880 and especially if they put them in a positive light so they keep doing that to get a lot of
00:11:42.200 engagement and it's so clear to me and this interview is evidence of that apart from that
00:11:48.020 question the entire interview is totally boring it is just super uninteresting and of course it
00:11:55.440 brings this as the last question i have done that so many times when i know it's a bit of a risky
00:12:02.380 question I always wait until the end to ask it in case the celebrity doesn't like the question or
00:12:08.560 someone in the room interrupts and doesn't like the question I always save my risky question to
00:12:14.280 the end and that's exactly what she did here and Ryan knows the rules so he knows exactly what she
00:12:20.620 did as well yeah I feel that there is a lot of yelling going on behind closed doors in Blake
00:12:27.980 and Ryan's residence right now because Ryan is feeling the heat from this. The promo of this
00:12:36.100 movie has been so uncomfortable for him and he's putting other people in an uncomfortable spot as
00:12:42.540 well and the feeling for him to put Kenneth Branagh through this and also Apple TV through this. Yeah
00:12:49.940 I can imagine he's trying to blame this on his wife.
00:12:55.380 Anyways, let's get into the really explosive, juicy stuff here.
00:13:00.200 But before we talk about James Vitushka, the Daily Mail journalist, new filing,
00:13:05.420 I wanted to thank the sponsor of this video, Vinted.
00:13:09.520 I've been obsessed with secondhand shopping my entire life.
00:13:13.880 I just love the treasure hunt and discovering new pieces
00:13:17.580 and the idea that something amazing and beautiful doesn't have to sit forgotten in someone else's
00:13:23.020 closet. But I also have a lot of clothes in my own closet that I keep telling myself I'm gonna
00:13:29.080 wear again and then I never do. And that's where Vinted comes in. Vinted is a second-hand marketplace
00:13:36.260 app that makes it super easy to sell clothes that you're no longer wearing. And you're making a
00:13:43.220 little extra money on it and you're giving those pieces a second life and guess what that's great
00:13:49.360 for the environment as well listing an item is quick and simple and when it sells vintage creates
00:13:56.460 a prepaid shipping label for you best of all vintage has no seller fees so you keep everything
00:14:04.020 yourself for someone like me who loves to refresh my wardrobe vintage makes clearing out my closet
00:14:10.820 so much more rewarding and it creates room for my next secondhand discovery and while you're at it
00:14:17.500 of course you can renew your own wardrobe as well and I'm sure you're gonna find a lot of unique
00:14:23.520 pieces so if you're ready to clean out your closet and make some extra money download the Vinted app
00:14:29.340 for free and start listing right now with no seller fees you keep every dollar that you earn
00:14:36.960 Okay, so let's get back into it.
00:14:39.100 If you followed this case for a while,
00:14:41.260 you know there is a reporter that was dragged into it.
00:14:44.220 His name is James Svitushka,
00:14:46.140 and he was working at the Daily Mail
00:14:47.920 when the rumors started spreading
00:14:50.180 about things happening on the set of It Ends With Us.
00:14:55.200 And he was in talk with all the publicists.
00:14:58.180 Then he wrote a text that was used in the filing
00:15:01.540 by the wafer parties.
00:15:04.200 And then he said,
00:15:04.980 I didn't mean what I said in that text,
00:15:06.580 There's a lot of complicated stuff going on there.
00:15:08.740 So we don't need to go through all the details here
00:15:10.520 because I've gone through them a lot of times before.
00:15:12.940 But this guy changed his version of events a few times already.
00:15:17.740 So he's not looked upon as a very reliable witness.
00:15:22.180 And three weeks ago now, he sued the Daily Mail
00:15:25.060 because they fired him because of all of this.
00:15:27.940 And they said that they forced him to write a sworn statement
00:15:32.140 that he didn't believe was true.
00:15:34.000 anyways now he added more fuel to his lawsuit against Daily Mail and he added an email that
00:15:42.120 he forwarded to the editor to two editors at the Daily Mail where he describes what Leslie Sloan
00:15:50.280 had told him Leslie Sloan as you know is Blake's publicist and in the same filing he also
00:15:58.140 explained how Leslie Sloan works.
00:16:03.020 So let's see what he says in his filings.
00:16:05.180 He says, Ms. Sloan and plaintiff, meaning himself,
00:16:09.520 interactions were part of a broader symbiotic relationship
00:16:13.280 between her and the defendant's Daily Mail,
00:16:16.860 which frequently published stories based solely on her anonymous tips.
00:16:23.460 So the Daily Mail kept publishing stories
00:16:25.920 from tips they got from Blake Lively's publicists.
00:16:29.320 And these were not only tips about Blake or Justin or whatever.
00:16:33.500 We'll get more into that very soon.
00:16:35.560 These stories often attacked entertainment industry figures
00:16:38.600 adverse to Miss Sloan's clients.
00:16:41.960 Miss Sloan's leaks were systemic and often exaggerated,
00:16:47.480 if not completely fabricated.
00:16:51.060 Nevertheless, plaintiff often served as the middleman
00:16:55.060 between Ms. Sloan and Defendant Daily Mail, escalating her tips to senior editors for review
00:17:02.100 and potential publications. He's totally throwing Leslie Sloan under the bus here.
00:17:09.260 So, and then he puts an example here. For example, Ms. Sloan once provided plaintiff
00:17:14.780 himself with negative narratives about Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Lindsay Lohan, and Kate Hudson.
00:17:22.240 plaintiff forwarded those narratives to former U.S. associate editor Charlie Laxton and executive
00:17:30.760 editor Emma Powell for potential publication. See Exhibit A. He also says here, while many of
00:17:38.900 these narratives were published, some were not as they were too controversial. This plant and
00:17:44.960 publish relationship generated traffic and revenue for Daily Mail while providing Miss Sloan a
00:17:51.020 powerful platform to advance narratives favorable to her clients, one of whom was actress Blake
00:17:57.800 Lively. So it seems like Leslie Sloan was feeding the Daily Mail constantly with negative,
00:18:06.960 controversial stories about other celebrities. So whenever she needed them to be favorable to
00:18:15.000 her clients amongst them Blake Lively they would say hey she gives us so much juicy stuff on other
00:18:21.900 celebrities let's make her happy I mean that was her strategy here and then this is the attachment
00:18:28.740 exhibit a here and there's other stuff here that I'll go through in another episode but since we're
00:18:35.300 talking about Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid here I wanted to I wanted to share what Leslie Sloan
00:18:41.420 told the daily mail about this couple so this is an email that james vitushka claims that he sent
00:18:49.180 to two senior editors at the daily mail after he spoke to leslie sloan he says here i just spoke to
00:18:57.820 leslie sloan for half an hour and she spilled she must be a good one so this was sent thursday january
00:19:08.000 18, 2024. So I'm guessing he didn't know too much about Leslie Sloan until this time since he said
00:19:16.360 she must be a good one here because she spilled all this stuff. So she basically just called him
00:19:21.660 to spread evil rumors about other celebrities. And here we get to point two where according to James
00:19:28.680 this is what she said about Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid. Bradley is still with Gigi Hadid and
00:19:34.820 it's totally her bitch. Bradley was 100% in support of Israel in October. Leslie told me I
00:19:43.980 can find this all online. He's now supporting Hamas because Gigi is supporting Palestine and
00:19:51.720 and then he puts brackets can't use this but Leslie says that Gigi's father is Hamas. She said
00:20:00.300 to look because bradley flipped sides and then he continues he talking about bradley is also
00:20:06.280 extremely butthurt but maestro did not get the attention he thought it would but it is because
00:20:12.400 bradley is not the same person he used to be maestro was a movie that bradley cooper directed
00:20:19.360 himself and he also played the main character in the movie and he was obviously hoping for an oscar
00:20:25.400 and whatever. I feel like Bradley Cooper takes himself a bit too seriously but anyways he was
00:20:30.900 butthurt according to Leslie Sloan that his movie didn't do better. He has become the opposite of
00:20:37.080 who he was and no one wants to work with him anymore because he is such an arrogant prick.
00:20:45.320 I mean this is what Blake Lively's publicist told the Daily Mail allegedly I have to say
00:20:52.680 even though the evidence is here we have to be careful with the language but anyways can you
00:20:57.340 imagine she knows exactly how controversial the whole Israel-Palestine conflict is and she knows
00:21:06.500 whenever you take side in that conflict you risk to get cancelled in Hollywood and for some reason
00:21:13.200 she was really after hurting Bradley Cooper and Gigi Adid also saying that no one wants to work
00:21:20.760 with him because he's such a big prick. And this is where it gets really interesting because Bradley
00:21:27.560 Cooper was helping Blake Lively with the edit of her movie. She contacted him to get help and they
00:21:36.500 even had a screening at his residence where she invited Hugh Jackman, Sean Levy, the director of
00:21:44.820 Deadpool and Ryan Reynolds, of course, and Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid, they were all at his
00:21:51.820 residence, according to Page Six, having a first look at It Ends With Us. And that was in October
00:21:58.860 of 2023. And Leslie Sloan, according to James Hutushka, called him in January of 2024, just a
00:22:07.320 couple of months later. And who knows, did Blake give this information to her publicist about her
00:22:12.440 friend Gigi and her dear friend Bradley as she calls him in some filings that we've seen less
00:22:19.040 than six months after this phone call from Leslie Gigi Hadid went with Blake Lively as her date
00:22:26.640 on the premiere of Deadpool versus Wolverine she was very visible at the red carpet with Blake
00:22:34.940 doing interviews with her supporting her good friend at the same time Blake's publicist was
00:22:41.400 going behind her back, trying to plant vicious stories about her. And at the same time, Bradley
00:22:46.760 is helping Blake as much as he can. And Bradley also helped Blake get that PGA credit. So in one
00:22:55.540 of the exhibits from Blake Levy's lawsuit, she said this, I wish I was given the credit for my
00:23:01.520 work sooner as I was able to give in a fair shot at applying the right way. I know precedent is
00:23:08.380 important and on that my dear friend Bradley Cooper gave me a pep talk about pushing for this
00:23:15.180 sighting and he told me I could mention that to you all that a similar situation happened to him
00:23:22.560 on Nightmare Alley and Blake says here he was hired as an actor but ended up extensively producing
00:23:30.580 the film and a month before release he was given producer credits. He applied for a Hail Mary PGA
00:23:38.080 Mark with the support of the film crew was granted it. So I'm hoping and praying that it's possible
00:23:44.380 here as well. So Bradley Cooper did the same thing. He signed on as an actor and basically just got
00:23:52.340 producer credits on Nightmare Alley just shortly before the movie was released. Maybe that explains
00:23:58.220 why people are reluctant to work with Bradley Cooper. I feel at least that explains why he
00:24:03.000 wants to direct now as well he's doing everything he's directing he is producing and he is playing
00:24:10.760 the main character in his own movies he did it with maestro and as you know he also did it with
00:24:15.300 a star is born featuring lady gaga he got a lot more attention for that movie he did do a good
00:24:21.580 movie last year by the way it was called is this thing on and he only had a small part in it
00:24:27.760 himself but he was directing that as well and producing it so yeah who knows where the real
00:24:33.080 truth lays here but i thought this new filing is terrible terrible for blake lively for leslie
00:24:40.880 sloan for daily mail and for hollywood in general that this kind of information comes out there i
00:24:48.760 mean who can you trust in hollywood when these things are going on behind the scenes anyways
