00:00:39.500 Yes, a Sony executive called Blake Lively, epic-level stupid and an effing terrorist.
00:00:46.640 Yeah, we Flossom Talk.
00:00:51.500 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk.
00:00:53.080 I'm Jashti Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.
00:01:00.220 So, this morning there was a hearing in New York City.
00:01:05.240 Blake Lively's attorneys were there and Justin Baldoni and the Wayfair Party's attorneys were there.
00:01:11.760 And they were arguing their sides in front of the judge.
00:01:15.980 And Baldoni's team is obviously hoping that the judge will toss out Blake's case.
00:01:21.160 How's Mr. Baldoni holding up with all of this going on?
00:01:25.200 You know, it's difficult when you read about yourself and people that you think that you had a good relationship with.
00:01:32.620 And it comes out that they're saying things behind your back and whatnot.
00:01:36.100 It hurts, you know.
00:01:37.680 And it would hurt anybody, right?
00:01:40.200 And he's just a wonderful guy.
00:01:43.180 He really is.
00:01:43.700 As you know, I really hope this is going to trial.
00:01:46.600 I hope to see those people up on that witness stand defending their actions.
00:01:52.220 And now that we know so much more, because these last few days have been crazy, as you know,
00:01:57.900 we've seen so much evidence pouring out.
00:02:02.080 And especially, I think people have been pretty shocked to see the text messages between Blake Lively and Taylor Swift.
00:02:08.940 We'll talk a little bit more about that today.
00:02:10.900 We've also seen a lot of new text messages and emails from Sony and WME.
00:02:18.880 And some of these made headlines.
00:02:21.480 One amongst other, a Sony executive who called Blake Lively a effing terrorist.
00:02:27.680 And also another one calling her actions epic level stupid and that she brought this on herself.
00:02:36.140 Also, one of them suggested that she should apologize to the reporter.
00:02:41.500 And I'm assuming that's me, because that was around the time that my interview with Blake Lively went viral.
00:02:47.660 It's quite interesting to play with that thought of what would have happened if Blake actually apologized.
00:02:53.820 I think that would have been a smart thing to do.
00:02:56.120 And also, as the same person suggested, that she should apologize to DV survivors.
00:03:00.800 As you know, Blake Lively planted this idea in the cast that they shouldn't talk about DV and she blamed that on Wayfarer.
00:03:09.980 And then when Justin focused on that in the promotion of the movie, they said that he only did that to make them look bad.
00:03:16.720 So this is all something that's orchestrated by Blake Lively.
00:03:21.020 I will make another video today as well, where I talk a little bit more about how she convinced her co-stars to go against Justin and how she told them to unfollow him on Instagram.
00:03:31.860 Anyways, there's not been any headlines yet about those Ryan Reynolds text messages that I made a separate video on yesterday.
00:03:40.900 There's pages of pages of evidence against him on how he was trying to pressure Sony, how he was trying to pressure WME to go against Justin and to support Blake publicly.
00:03:54.580 No media outlet has touched that yet.
00:03:57.800 Quite interesting.
00:03:59.120 And also, the internet is on fire when it comes to these text messages with Taylor Swift.
00:04:04.280 A lot of this fury against Taylor Swift is vented on Travis Kelsey, her fiancé's Instagram account.
00:04:13.600 I feel terrible for Travis.
00:04:15.340 He's not involved in this at all.
00:04:17.140 And as you know, don't forget, he unfollowed Ryan Reynolds on Instagram.
00:04:22.400 That was a huge thing.
00:04:24.000 But now people online are using him to get to Taylor and tell her what they think about this whole thing.
00:04:32.060 So let's see how long Travis Kelsey can keep his Instagram account open.
00:04:36.400 Also, we have to look at more evidence of how Blake Lively pressured her A-list friends to support her.
00:04:43.860 This is crazy what she made Matt Damon actually do.
00:04:47.840 As you know, I've been wondering a lot, I'm sure you guys have too, what really happened between Taylor and Blake after the New York Times article came out.
00:04:56.020 Because after that, and after Justin filed his countersuit against Blake, things went really sour between Blake and Taylor as a reminder to everyone.
00:05:07.420 And thank you, Saga, for sending me this and reminding me of this.
00:05:11.560 So when Blake Lively put pressure on Taylor to support her publicly, she didn't do that through a text.
00:05:18.900 I forgot about how all of this happened, so I'm going to refresh everyone's memory of what Brian Friedman, Justin Baldoni's lawyer, said at the time when this news broke.
00:05:30.880 He sent this sworn statement to the judge saying that J. Douglas Baldrige, counsel for Taylor Swift and a partner at Venable LLP, had received a phone call from Michael Gottlieb, counsel for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
00:05:49.880 So it was actually Blake's attorney who contacted Taylor's attorney.
00:05:55.720 I mean, who does that with your friends anyway?
00:05:59.120 Which Mr. Gottlieb requested on Ms. Lively's behalf that Taylor Swift make a social media statement in support of Ms. Lively, given her absence from the Super Bowl that year.
00:06:11.540 And stated that if Ms. Swift failed to do so, Ms. Lively would release 10 years of private texts with Ms. Swift.
00:06:25.180 The individual, which turned out to be Taylor's dad, also told me that they had been informed that Mr. Baldrige had accused Mr. Gottlieb of extortion and ended the call.
00:06:39.000 So how did it get to this point that Blake's attorney contacted Taylor's attorney instead of Blake just contacting and asking Taylor herself?
00:06:49.420 It must have turned really sour before that happened as well, because why would she go the legal way to try to do something like this?
00:06:57.400 I hope we can get some more evidence surrounding this.
00:07:01.520 And also, of course, the fact that Blake also had asked Taylor to delete evidence.
00:07:07.800 I'm sure she didn't ask her attorney to do that, because that would be like really terrible legal advice.
00:07:14.000 So I'm sure that she did that some other way or directly to Taylor.
00:07:18.640 Who knows?
00:07:19.540 And who knows if Taylor actually listened and if she actually deleted some of the texts?
00:07:24.540 The only way we can find out what really happened here is if Taylor Swift will also be subpoenaed at one point.
00:07:31.080 I don't know if that could happen at this point unless she is to be a witness in this case.
00:07:36.220 And unless, you know, that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfair parties appeal their lawsuits against Blake and New York Times, it's not too late to do that.
00:07:47.860 Anyways, there is a text message here from Blake to Taylor that I didn't share yesterday.
00:07:54.860 Blake wrote this to Taylor on May 19th of 2024.
00:08:02.200 She said,
00:08:03.140 By the way, I have so much to tell you.
00:08:06.860 The author, Colleen, reached out to me because Justin is on an internal smear campaign trying to get his edit through.
00:08:15.720 She was horrified trying to get his edit through.
00:08:19.340 It's his movie.
00:08:20.260 He's the director.
00:08:21.100 Anyways, she was horrified and reached out on her own to talk to me.
00:08:26.560 Turns out he effing lied.
00:08:29.520 She's not Baha'i.
00:08:31.280 Never has been.
00:08:32.620 She's not friends with him at all.
00:08:35.040 So there was a rumor on set that Colleen Hoover also was Baha'i.
00:08:41.520 And that was a rumor that occurred on TikTok somewhere.
00:08:46.520 Justin Baldoni never said that Colleen was Baha'i.
00:08:50.420 Why would he do that?
00:08:52.160 So anyway, this is just gossip and untrue.
00:08:57.940 She's not friends with him at all.
00:08:59.580 She actually hates him.
00:09:01.740 Wow, strong words.
00:09:03.440 She was his safety net all along.
00:09:06.560 Meanwhile, he shut her out and wouldn't include her in anything and told her she had no voice or value yet.
00:09:13.420 Paraded her around in front of cameras for goodwill and told us all that all this, his decision, he got pushback on were her ideas.
00:09:23.260 So he blamed all his like bad ideas on Colleen Hoover.
00:09:27.400 None of this is true.
00:09:29.060 We've seen through Colleen Hoover's deposition and Justin Baldoni's deposition, Colleen had a lot of say.
00:09:35.720 There's a lot of text messages between Colleen and Justin discussing the script.
00:09:40.740 She had a lot more say than anyone I've ever seen.
00:09:43.740 And she's an author of a book and she sold the rights.
00:09:46.640 So she doesn't really have a lot of rights here.
00:09:49.240 But anyways, he did allow her to have a lot of say.
00:09:52.500 So this is not true, but Blake is telling Taylor this and Blake says wild.
00:09:58.220 And then she continues another text.
00:10:00.100 She is like bombarding Taylor with text messages.
00:10:03.560 She's saying she flew to New York where I screened my cut for the first time yesterday.
00:10:08.500 It killed in the room.
00:10:11.300 So that was when she screened it to her friends and she killed the room, obviously, because they were her friends and no one dared to say anything else.
00:10:20.120 She's saying Bradley came.
00:10:21.900 He watched it twice.
00:10:24.160 Poor Bradley.
00:10:25.440 He has been an absolute effing hero.
00:10:28.460 He has made me feel so good about the cut.
00:10:33.080 Matt and Lucy Damon saw it to give notes and instead just wrote Tom Rotham to try to push my edit through without a bake-off with Justin.
00:10:45.420 Which is also what Colleen is pushing for.
00:10:48.580 It's wild and crazy times.
00:10:51.820 So she is admitting here that she's using Matt Damon as well to help her push Sony so they will go for her edit of the movie.
00:11:03.440 She's saying there's supposed to be a bake-off so both of them get the opportunity to show their edit to Sony.
00:11:10.400 But she doesn't want there to be a bake-off.
00:11:12.600 She doesn't want the best version of this movie to be screened.
00:11:15.800 She just wants her version of the movie to be screened.
00:11:19.040 And she's also saying that she made Colleen Hoover also push Sony to do this.
00:11:24.620 Then Taylor Swift says,
00:11:27.180 Definitely not.
00:11:33.900 I think a lot of people learned a lesson here.
00:11:37.240 And then she continues, Taylor says,
00:11:39.360 So she's calling this movie about DV a fun watch.
00:11:52.700 Okay, so let's get into what the Sony's executives have been saying about Blake Lively.
00:11:58.560 I'm so happy that these communications got unsealed because I think really this changes everything.
00:12:06.940 So this is from Sanford Panitch, which is one of the executives over at Sony.
00:12:12.220 She's writing this to someone.
00:12:13.520 I'm not sure who this other person is.
00:12:15.180 It's just noted as a home.
00:12:16.480 I'm sure it's someone else at Sony or something like that because they're discussing this internally.
00:12:23.460 And Sanford is saying,
00:12:24.840 It's quite ironic because she has a huge hit movie headed to 300 million plus
00:12:31.640 and probably will never work again.
00:12:35.740 Not for a while, although even Hathaway recovered.
00:12:40.300 Tom thinks she's probably and bizarrely unhirable right now.
00:12:45.760 So this Sony executive is saying that Blake Lively would probably never work again.
00:12:51.660 And he's comparing her to Anne Hathaway, who was cancelled for a while
00:12:55.560 because she wasn't behaving very nicely.
00:12:57.780 I've showed how she was on camera with me as well, actually.
00:13:01.180 But she recovered from that.
00:13:02.920 And so he's saying that there might be hope, but she's bizarrely unhirable right now.
00:13:08.760 And then this other person saying,
00:13:10.240 This will pass.
00:13:11.200 She's going to be fine.
00:13:12.540 And then that person continues to say,
00:13:14.800 An apology to that reporter would help.
00:13:17.660 I think that's me because my video went viral around this time.
00:13:22.460 And Blake was labeled a bully after that interview.
00:13:27.140 And that's something that's been repeated a lot of times that she's been labeled a bully.
00:13:31.440 So they wanted her to apologize to me.
00:13:34.240 I wonder what would have happened and how things would have been differently
00:13:37.100 if she would have owned up to any of her mistakes.
00:13:40.700 She just never wanted to own her own mistakes here.
00:13:44.940 And that is Blake's biggest problem.
00:13:48.000 And the same person is saying something to Survivors, too,
00:13:50.900 other than a 24-hour thing on her Instagram stories.
00:13:54.020 So she should apologize to Survivors.
00:13:56.900 There was a lot of backlash from DV Survivors,
00:14:00.480 mostly because of her tone-deaf promotion of her haircare line and Betty Buzz
00:14:05.220 during this whole promotion of the movie.
00:14:07.640 And then Sony Executive continues to say here,
00:14:11.080 No, disagree.
00:14:13.300 She is done for.
00:14:15.700 At least for a while.
00:14:17.460 She's cooked.
00:14:19.380 She said she's retiring to Josh or something.
00:14:22.160 It will take a few years.
00:14:24.540 Eva Mendes' time.
00:14:26.180 She did it to herself.
00:14:27.940 If she just let him come to the premiere
00:14:30.560 or didn't make all the cast and follow him
00:14:32.940 or kick him off the movie
00:14:35.180 and did what everyone ever has done in show business
00:14:39.620 for time and memorial,
00:14:41.620 which is protect the show,
00:14:44.060 then none of the sleuthing would have happened.
00:14:47.940 The hair sell,
00:14:49.140 talking about her selling her hair products,
00:14:51.880 at the same time was epic-level stupid.
00:14:56.960 She wouldn't listen.
00:14:59.240 She knows better.
00:15:00.720 It's astonishing.
00:15:01.840 A hundred and fifty and a hundred and fifty could be more.
00:15:06.260 And then the other person is saying,
00:15:08.020 All of this is true.
00:15:10.580 So Blake was even told, it seems like here,
00:15:13.560 that she probably should leave her haircare line out of this.
00:15:16.700 And she's explaining in her deposition or somewhere I read
00:15:20.660 that she's explaining that she had to promote her haircare line at that time
00:15:24.720 because they had planned the launch of her haircare line at that time for so long.
00:15:28.600 And It Ends With Us was pushed.
00:15:30.440 And that's why they collided.
00:15:32.360 Blah, blah, blah.
00:15:33.560 Here is another conversation between the same two people.
00:15:36.900 Is it the end of Us premiere on Tuesday the 9th?
00:15:40.440 Do you know where it will be held?
00:15:42.440 And the person says,
00:15:43.340 So now Blake wanted to push down the other producers and make her the number one producer of the film.
00:16:10.380 And she wanted to remove Justin Baldoni's name from the poster where it said a film by Justin Baldoni.
00:16:16.840 I read in his deposition that her lawyers were questioning him about that and saying,
00:16:21.980 You know, how could you be so vain to ask to have your name like that, a film by?
00:16:27.820 It's not normal in Hollywood.
00:16:29.460 It's only vain people who do that.
00:16:31.980 So they're trying to make him look bad because he wanted to have the name of the movie he directed.
00:16:36.340 And the Sony exec says,
00:16:37.760 Are they saying yes to that too?
00:16:40.200 And continuing to say,
00:16:41.640 This is truly insane.
00:16:43.960 And then they're sending the information about the premiere of It Ends With Us in New York.
00:16:48.080 And then the other person is saying,
00:16:50.260 Wayfair doesn't even know all this.
00:16:52.600 And we cannot renegotiate cast deals so she can move kits up.
00:16:57.800 No time.
00:16:58.980 Nor movie cast crawl before keys.
00:17:01.660 Even though she wants Sony to call guilts to get.
00:17:05.860 She can try for PGA credits.
00:17:08.660 So this is the time when she's trying to get credited as a producer.
00:17:13.040 This is in June of 2024.
00:17:15.560 Just a few months before the premiere.
00:17:18.140 And then they continue.
00:17:19.140 She expects Sony, aka me, to persuade Wayfair to agree to remove a film by by Justin Baldoni
00:17:26.380 and move her producer credit before theirs.
00:17:30.400 Getting them to approve giving her a producer credit was herculean.
00:17:34.820 She just turned over her editorial changes to cut after Dallas.
00:17:40.100 So going to watch now.
00:17:41.560 Report back.
00:17:42.620 So she's even trying to put her name in front of theirs when it comes to producer credits.
00:17:47.160 It's amazing, you guys.
00:17:49.880 And then the executive from Sony is like, I don't want to ask them.
00:17:54.340 Talking about the Wayfair party.
00:17:56.840 Sanford doesn't want to ask them if Blake can have her name in front of theirs on the producer credit.
00:18:02.560 And Sanford is saying, I don't want us to ask them to do that for her.
00:18:08.640 She can ask herself.
00:18:10.340 We've bent over backwards enough.
00:18:12.740 This is getting now to the point of absurdity.
00:18:16.180 And then the other person liked that comment.
00:18:18.960 So yes.
00:18:19.460 And I do like that the media started picking some of this up.
00:18:22.920 Us Weekly had this story yesterday.
00:18:25.280 Blake Lively slammed by Sony executives for selling hair care products.
00:18:30.060 I mean, it ends with us drama.
00:18:32.240 And then you posted this one.
00:18:33.860 Blake Lively's branded a effing terrorist by a movie executive during nasty it ends with us drama.
00:18:39.360 So yes, and Giannetti, who also worked for Sony, called Blake Lively an effing terrorist.
00:18:49.820 And she confirmed that she had called her that in her own deposition.
00:18:55.080 And here's a conversation between two other Sony executives.
00:18:58.660 So this is a thread of text messages sent from Tara Grant at Sony to Josh Greenstein at Sony explaining about the backlash Blake Lively's receiving and that no one's on her side.
00:19:12.120 And I think they're discussing this, an article that's about to come out.
00:19:15.080 And she's saying to Josh, all this would do, all this would do is to continue to reinforce that everyone, what everyone is saying, that Blake Lively is a bully.
00:19:25.400 This is an email Leslie got.
00:19:27.560 So she's talking about Blake Lively's publicist, Leslie Sloan.
00:19:31.700 She got an email probably from an outlet asking for comments about this.
00:19:37.260 And this is on 11th of August.
00:19:39.140 So this might be about my interview.
00:19:42.440 I'm thinking that it might be because I published that a few days earlier and it got a lot of attention in the press.
00:19:48.980 And Blake was labeled a bully because of that.
00:19:51.960 This is an email Leslie got.
00:19:53.480 Yeah, she's not getting support even with Daily Mail and New York Post.
00:19:57.480 And then she says she orchestrated all this drama in a totally unsavvy and amateur way and basically threatened you and Sony and now is mad it's backfired on her.
00:20:13.800 And then she says better than alternative because she and her team are playing with fire.
00:20:18.580 All this borderline abusive language, that's when shit can spiral and it hasn't taken hold at all.
00:20:26.140 So all of this is coming out.
00:20:28.380 And I think Sigri McCowley, Blake's new attorney, a crisis manager, is very busy these days.
00:20:35.640 As I mentioned, when she hired Sigri, you know, she used to work for Jeffrey Epstein victims.
00:20:41.480 So she was the perfect person for Blake Lively to fit into her narrative here.
00:20:45.220 And I see Sigri's statements in all of these articles.
00:20:48.140 And it's really funny because it is so predictable.
00:20:52.260 It's so funny to me how they're trying to save everything now and how they started unsealing their documents before the Wayfair parties did.
00:21:00.160 So they would have an upper hand, so they would get their stories out first.
00:21:04.800 But now, after these Taylor Swift messages came out and after Ryan Reynolds came out, I mean, they're done.
00:21:11.600 Anyways, as I said, there will be another episode today.
00:21:13.680 I'm going to go through more of what Blake Lively did to her co-stars to convince them to go against Justin Baldoni and the language that she used and things that she said that's outrageous.
00:21:27.020 So please stay tuned for more.
00:21:29.180 There's a lot of juice in that episode as well.
00:21:31.580 And again, thank you so much for watching and thank you for reaching out to me.
00:21:35.100 I haven't been able to read all my messages yet, but I really, really appreciate it.
00:21:39.880 And if there's any knowledge that you have or you want me to talk about that's important, do contact me on Instagram.
00:21:46.360 I have my handles below here because there's a lot of comments, so I can't get through all the comments.
00:21:50.720 But I do really appreciate your engagement and your comments and that you're sharing and hyping and liking.
00:21:57.300 And yes, thank you so much.
00:21:58.800 I will see you soon.
00:22:00.280 Bye.
00:22:00.680 Yeah, we've lost some talk.
