00:00:00.000 It turns out that Taylor doesn't want the drama.
00:00:07.920 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Jashti Floor, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,
00:00:12.220 and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion. So yes, we have a new victim now,
00:00:19.360 Taylor Swift. Her reps went to the media again to defend her. It turns out that Taylor doesn't
00:00:25.520 want the drama. Also a big shout out to Carol and to Clark who went down to the courthouse
00:00:33.300 and got the rest of the evidence that was missing from that big pile of evidence that we got last
00:00:40.080 week. And they uploaded all of this to docketupdates.com. That means that we have the audio
00:00:46.800 recording that Blake Lively sent to Justin Baldoni. Hey, I hope you're so well. Just wanted to connect
00:00:55.240 this is really important for Justin because he's using this as evidence against the fat shaming
00:01:02.520 claims that Blake Lively made such a big deal about. Again, we're dealing with a lot of word
00:01:08.340 salad from Blake. I'm going to play it all for you and you can make up your mind about what you think
00:01:13.280 if Justin Baldoni is guilty of fat shaming. Another document that was uploaded, which I'm going to talk
00:01:19.900 about in this episode, is some notes from Ange Giannetti, from Sony, who talks about how she wants
00:01:28.200 the script to be more sexy, more steamy, and more hot. There's also new evidence released from that
00:01:35.240 dancing scene from another angle with more audio. I'm going to go through that and other things in
00:01:40.620 another episode. There's also some TikTok videos that they added with evidence that Blake Lively
00:01:46.620 allegedly planted stories on TikTok with creators there. They also added a timeline of events and I
00:01:55.460 know a lot of you guys have asked me to make a video to go through how everything happened and
00:02:00.320 make it into a timeline and they already did that for us. So I'm definitely going to look at that in
00:02:06.000 another episode as well. But let's get to this People Magazine article about Taylor Swift now feeling
00:02:11.680 like she is a victim. So it says here that Taylor Swift wants to stay away from drama after her texts
00:02:18.860 with Blake Lively are unsealed. This is from an exclusive source and it says here that Taylor feels
00:02:25.860 like her privacy was impacted. Anyone would be uncomfortable if their private texts were suddenly
00:02:31.340 made public. Definitely. Totally agree with that. And the only person you can blame for that is Blake
00:02:38.200 Lively. And I mention here that she's not the only celebrity who's been in this situation who had
00:02:44.600 their text messages released in public and I'm sure that all the other ones agree with her. No one wants
00:02:51.940 their private text messages to be released to the public like this. They also mention here how
00:02:57.760 Blake Lively's attorneys explain the situation when Taylor Swift just happened to be at the penthouse
00:03:04.080 when Justin Baldoni was there. Something that Taylor's sources explained earlier that she was
00:03:10.780 just randomly popping by and Justin happened to be there. And according to Blake Lively's deposition,
00:03:18.760 she explained the situation like this. She said, I sent Taylor the script on her way to my apartment
00:03:24.340 because Justin was still there and I asked her to read them. I told her she didn't have to. I didn't
00:03:30.720 want her to feel pressured to do that, but I hope that she would. So it's no doubt here that she wanted
00:03:36.580 Taylor to have an influence on Justin because she even sent her a text while Justin was still there.
00:03:44.520 Why didn't she tell Justin, you know, you have to leave now. Taylor's coming. My friend is coming.
00:03:48.360 So nice to see you. You can stay for a few minutes and say hi to her. But it was also planned and there's
00:03:53.900 no way to explain it otherwise. But anyways, Taylor is trying to explain here that she just is a good 1.00
00:04:01.100 friend and that's why she did these things. So the source is telling people that she was just being
00:04:06.180 a friend to Blake and it's turned into something bigger than she ever expected. She never thought
00:04:11.360 private messages would become public. Well, before you sent those congratulation messages to Ryan and
00:04:17.400 Blake when that article hit the New York Times and forwarding the article where Justin Baldoni was
00:04:25.220 fired from WME, you should have thought about that, Taylor, that those messages could become public
00:04:31.680 because now you knew that Blake Lively was suing Justin Baldoni and that means discovery. So she should
00:04:41.080 have thought about this a little bit earlier. It ends her saying that Taylor is just trying to stay away
00:04:46.220 from the drama like everyone else, I guess. She doesn't want to be a part of it. No one wants to
00:04:51.380 be a part of this drama, but you can only blame one person for that and that is Blake. Anyways, let's
00:04:56.520 get into this really long voicemail that was released yesterday. I listened to it and I was like, oh my god,
00:05:03.080 I hate when people send long voicemail messages myself. And you know that Blake Lively identifies as a
00:05:09.280 storyteller and that's what she's doing here as well. I am going to let you listen to the entire
00:05:15.520 message. Warning beforehand, it's four and a half minutes long, so you can fast forward as well to hear about
00:05:21.700 my reactions afterwards if you feel that it is a little bit boring. But keep in mind, she sent this on
00:05:27.380 February 8th of 2023 at 9.15 at night. And this is a voice memo she sent to Justin Baldoni asking him to move
00:05:37.380 the production of the film because she wanted him and all the other people involved in the movie to
00:05:43.640 adjust to her schedule so she could spend more time with Ryan, her husband. But most importantly,
00:05:49.600 she's saying that she would prefer if they started shooting the film in September and not in May because
00:05:57.580 she didn't feel like her body was the way she wanted it to be. She just had her fourth baby
00:06:03.220 and she wanted to lose more weight. So here is Blake's word salad.
00:06:10.680 Hey, I hope you're so well. Just wanted to connect just to put something on your radar.
00:06:17.880 So between us, like this is so premature for me to even share this with you. All good,
00:06:24.120 all good stuff. Headline is great, good, great stuff. But I was talking to Ryan and I was like,
00:06:30.500 I don't know if we should share this, but he was like, you guys have such a great trust,
00:06:35.780 you know, fill them in. But basically I, you know, the movie I'm doing before Proxy,
00:06:41.420 I sat down with the director and he was great and so lovely and I'm so excited to work with him. And,
00:06:46.660 you know, we were just talking about how we have very little time to prep and, you know,
00:06:51.480 it's a lot of work. And he was like, I just, is there any way you can get the other movie to push?
00:06:55.500 Like, I just feel like I need more time. And I was like, that's just, that ship is so sailed. And,
00:06:59.640 you know, and I've been, you know, really, really under it. I don't talk to him like I talked to
00:07:06.120 you. So I haven't told him like how stressed I've been with not having a baby nurse. Still don't have
00:07:11.580 one, by the way. I found someone and she was only available for like five days. But anyway,
00:07:17.720 still not a baby nurse. Just the idea of going back to work right away. And also the idea of like,
00:07:22.060 you know, prepping for our movie and like wanting to work out every day and all that. But yet being on
00:07:26.320 set all day, every day, I'm like, what have I done? Like the only reason that I'm doing proxy
00:07:31.340 before is because I gave them my word and I wouldn't go back on that and felt like I had to
00:07:36.540 make it work. But like having a week off in between, it's just a lot. It's a lot. And the closer the
00:07:42.360 reality gets, the more I'm just like panicking about that because I'd really like to just focus
00:07:48.700 on our movie. So anyway, when I saw that he was asking for more time, I was just like,
00:07:52.660 I have a crazy idea, but like, what if, um, what if we went in September? Um, like I'll do this movie
00:08:01.540 with you, but like, I just feel like I need more time before I go back to work and I need more,
00:08:05.720 like, you know, shooting in April, shooting in March is just too soon after having a baby and not
00:08:11.520 sleeping and wanting to be in my best shape and all that. So anyway, um, I'm trying to work on that.
00:08:17.520 I think that's a possibility. Um, so I just wanted to let you know that like, in case you wanted to
00:08:25.860 go a couple of weeks earlier, um, you're welcome to, and obviously there's selfish reasons I'm
00:08:31.820 telling you this. Like, I know that our schedules are scheduled. I'm not trying to move anything,
00:08:35.180 but like, if by chance you're like, Oh my God, if I could go two weeks earlier, that would actually
00:08:39.320 be great. Then amazing. And if it is what it is, then it is what it is. Um, but, um, selfishly,
00:08:46.520 what I would love about that is that, you know, Ryan and I have also been really stressed about
00:08:50.940 spending a month apart and, you know, I just, so not, none of it's your problem. That's why I'm
00:08:56.340 talking to you as a friend at this point more than anything, but the idea of spending all of June
00:09:01.020 apart is just a lot. And we, the most we've ever done is, is less than two weeks. Um, so our girls
00:09:07.120 get out of school. I think I mentioned to you on June 16th, we were going to originally go to London
00:09:11.400 and June 17th. Um, but now I think with our schedule, we're not done until like June 29th
00:09:17.220 or so. Um, so, you know, selfishly, if we could go a couple of weeks earlier, I, we can't stick
00:09:22.780 to our original plan and leave for London right after the girls get out of school. Um, which 0.63
00:09:27.260 would be amazing. And maybe that's like nicer for you, or maybe you're like, why are you saying
00:09:32.920 this? This is like horrifying that you're mentioning us starting two weeks earlier. Um, but anyway,
00:09:39.420 I just wanted to mention it, but I just, you know, having until the beginning of May is
00:09:44.420 really important to me because I just, I don't feel like I could pull it off any sooner than
00:09:49.420 that. And I was really stressed. So, um, I think that I can gracefully make this shift
00:09:56.880 happen. Um, because our director feels aligned with it. It's something that I could have done
00:10:01.660 selfishly, but anyway, I told you in four minutes what I could have told you in 30 seconds,
00:10:06.620 but, um, please again, keep us between us because as of now, this movie is still shooting
00:10:12.100 in six weeks, five weeks, whenever it is, I think it's six weeks. Um, so nothing has
00:10:18.360 changed, but I just sort of wanted to get your temperature on, on all that. Um, okay, cool.
00:10:26.440 So nice talking to you. I not talking to you. This is so sad. This is my social interaction
00:10:32.760 these days, just talking into voice memos. Um, okay. I hope you're well. Send my love to your
00:10:38.040 family who don't know me. Take care. Bye. Yes. Her voice is vulnerable. It's intimate. She's saying,
00:10:46.620 you know, I talk to you as a friend. This has to stay between us. And she's talking about this
00:10:52.320 other director that she doesn't talk to the same way she talks to Justin. This, she talks about this
00:10:58.580 movie called proxy that she was supposed to do, but that never happened for some reason.
00:11:04.540 But this voice memo is also about how she's going to work around the schedule for both of these
00:11:09.420 movies. She keeps talking about how she is working out, how she's working so hard to get back into
00:11:16.580 shape again. These are heard her words, and it really explains her insecurities about her body. 0.68
00:11:22.960 I completely understand that. I think all women understand that. But the fact that she blamed
00:11:29.900 Justin for all of this, which I'll talk a lot about later on in this episode, that is where the
00:11:35.200 problem is. Because this is all pressure that she is putting on herself. Justin never put any pressure
00:11:42.640 on her losing weight. And we have evidence of that. We have text messages between the two of them
00:11:48.040 showing that Justin was only supportive of her and said, you know, you look amazing. You look great.
00:11:54.500 Don't worry about anything. And this voice memo only adds more evidence to the fact that Blake
00:12:00.420 Lively has a lot of body insecurities. And a lot of people pointed that out as well when it came to 0.88
00:12:05.680 the wardrobe that she chose for It Ends With Us. She was wearing a lot of big and baggy clothes to hide 1.00
00:12:12.720 her body. And a lot of people didn't like the look on that wardrobe. And she got a lot of backlash from 0.99
00:12:19.060 it. And of course, she also blamed the Wayfair parties for that backlash. So her body insecurities
00:12:23.980 wasn't only about showing skin in some of those intimate scenes. It was also about hiding her entire
00:12:29.940 body throughout this movie by wearing a lot of big clothes. As you know, Justin Baldoni went to her
00:12:37.180 trainer and asked for her weight because he has a back issue. And that became a huge deal because Don
00:12:44.700 Saladino was also Blake Lively's trainer. She was actually the one who recommended him to Justin.
00:12:51.200 And when Justin asked him about Blake's weight, then the first thing Don Saladino did was call
00:12:57.680 Blake Lively and tell her about it. And then Blake told Ryan about it. And then, as you know,
00:13:03.280 he invited Justin Baldoni to a meeting at their penthouse where he yelled at him for fat shaming
00:13:09.160 his wife. Taylor Swift was there. Hugh Jackman was there. And then later, Ryan leaked that to the
00:13:15.460 media. And TMZ did a big story on how Justin Baldoni had fat shamed Blake Lively. I found this on
00:13:23.100 Reddit a really great timeline of the fat shaming, which I'm going to read quickly through to you so you
00:13:28.120 guys understand and can follow me here. So in January of 2023, Blake and Justin seem to have a good
00:13:35.200 relationship to begin with. Blake likes Justin Baldoni's social media posts and Ryan and Justin
00:13:40.900 exchange mutual pleasantries. You know, they sent messages back and forth to each other.
00:13:47.580 Everything was just lovey-dovey between all of them. Then on January 23rd, Justin connects with
00:13:54.860 Don Saladino, the personal trainer that Blake Lively recommended to him. On February 8th,
00:14:01.580 Blake sends his voice notes and expresses multiple times how stressed she is about weight. This voice
00:14:07.820 note that you just heard. On February 17th, Blake texts again about her weight insecurities. We know
00:14:15.020 she hates being the tall big girl and has spoken about this before, which I'll also get into later on.
00:14:20.180 We know Justin says, just focus on my body. Blake asked Justin to move shooting intimate scenes
00:14:26.200 towards the end of the schedule. Justin declines this. It's really hard to just like move everything
00:14:32.640 around. There's a lot of people involved in a movie and Justin said that I'll try my best to make that
00:14:38.420 happen, but I can't promise you anything. Then on March 29, Blake Lively has streps and Justin sends
00:14:46.560 her to his friend who Blake later categorizes as a weight loss specialist and says Justin shamed her.
00:14:54.580 Blake creates narrative. How can he be feminist if this is what he's doing? And they're adding here
00:15:01.000 narcissistic injury number one. So Justin told Blake that, you know, I have this health specialist that
00:15:07.380 I work with a lot and she's going to help you get over your streps. And then Blake said, oh, well,
00:15:13.900 I found out that this person is a weight loss expert and that's why he did that. It's fat shaming,
00:15:20.580 blah, blah, blah. Anyways, on April 12 of 2023, everything goes to shit sometime here. This person
00:15:27.920 is saying by this date, she starts trashing Justin behind the scenes, making fun of him as writer. And
00:15:33.940 when Justin then does not want to accept Ryan's scene, they go full crazy on him. So Justin didn't
00:15:40.820 like the rooftop scene at first. And then, of course, that didn't end well, as you know.
00:15:47.280 And on April 22, Justin asked Don Saladino, the personal trainer, about her weight. This is a big
00:15:53.880 one. She mentioned it to all her famous friends. You know, she put this in text messages to, amongst
00:15:58.860 others, Matt Damon. And it says here that this is narcissistic injury number two. May 16,
00:16:04.560 Baldoni approached Lylee in her trailer to discuss necessary wardrobe adjustments. So this is after
00:16:11.520 she got so much backlash for the wardrobe that she chose because there was a complete different
00:16:16.740 wardrobe department that she just got rid of and did her own stuff. And she got so much backlash when 1.00
00:16:22.060 paparazzis took pictures of her and started sharing photos of the wardrobe online. And they say here that
00:16:28.920 it is obvious that Blake wore a lot of oversight stuff to hide her body. So she took issue with 0.97
00:16:34.460 this for sure. Narcissistic injury three, it says here. And then the last point, Justin and Ange went
00:16:41.440 to add more intimate scenes. Blake takes this as being harassed. She needs this movie to be PG-13.
00:16:49.020 She does not want to show more of her body. Justin asked for camera to focus more on his body to put 0.90
00:16:55.120 her at ease. She takes it as another proof that he is fat shaming her. So there you go. There is the
00:17:03.460 whole history of fat shaming. Anyways, I wanted to read some text messages between Blake and Justin
00:17:09.880 and other people here so you understand where this is all coming from. So Blake Lively is sending to
00:17:16.060 Justin. This is on the 17th of February of 2023. She's saying kicking ass, but it's still a ton of work
00:17:24.640 with not a ton of time. What's the chances we can do body scenes at the end of the schedule? And just
00:17:31.600 in response to her, I want you to know you will look amazing. Anything you are insecure about, we will
00:17:38.220 talk through and get through creative together and make you comfortable. I just don't want you to stress
00:17:45.180 about your body. It's the last thing you need. As soon as I have a rough schedule that's even remotely
00:17:52.520 accurate, I'll share it and I'll make sure the team keeps this in mind as well. Could you send a nicer
00:17:59.060 message to that? That's to someone that feels insecure about their bodies. Justin puts zero pressure
00:18:04.760 on her. Then we have another interesting conversation between Blake Lively and Warren Zavala, her agent at
00:18:12.760 WME. She's sending him this the same day and she's saying, also I asked Justin Baldoni today, but I need
00:18:19.920 their help in boarding the movie so that the body stuff lasts to shoot. So again, she's saying here
00:18:25.760 that she wants the body scenes to be the last to shoot because she wants to be able to lose more
00:18:31.920 weight. I'm working my ass off, she says, literally working out twice a day, four hours a day, which is
00:18:37.920 insane. But I am treating it like my full time job. It's also part of why I wanted Proxy to push that
00:18:45.580 other movie that she mentioned in that voice memo to give me time to focus on that. But I just had a
00:18:51.660 baby and no matter how hard I work, it's a lot to accomplish. It's not a lot of time and I want to set
00:18:58.160 us all up for success. The sexiness in the film and the marketing, I'm sure it's critical to its success.
00:19:07.100 Blake says the sexiness of the movie is critical to the success. But don't tell her that her wardrobe
00:19:16.240 is sexy. And let's see what Blake Lively sent Justin the next day. She's saying in this text,
00:19:24.220 thank you for your voice memo. It's deeply appreciated. You are everything you promised to
00:19:27.860 be as a collaborator. Thank you. I know my job here and this piece is a big part of my job. We both
00:19:34.380 understand the assignments as actors in roles, but also as producers and also as marketers. We
00:19:40.380 understand artistically, yes, but we get what we need to do in all aspects for this movie commercially.
00:19:46.480 As woke as we both are and work to be, this movie requires a certain aesthetics. It's part of the job
00:19:52.700 that we both excited, excitedly signed up for. She says, as much as I'd love to not think about it,
00:19:58.560 that would be irresponsible and also impossible because it's unrealistic to not acknowledge
00:20:03.320 what I need to do. I just need as much time as possible because I just had my fourth baby. I
00:20:08.720 understand that you'll never personally know all the nuances of the challenges unless you live this
00:20:13.600 physical moment in time. I'm in with this physical road ahead. So having you understand and support to
00:20:20.860 help me pull this off is critical and very, very appreciated. Not just in my experience now,
00:20:26.780 but also healing from experiences past. So thank you. Then I found this also on Reddit, a picture
00:20:33.280 of Blake Lively and her trainer, Don Saladino. And he gave a quote to People Magazine saying,
00:20:40.360 she's not doing this triple session workouts. It should encourage people. Here's a woman who had a 1.00
00:20:46.740 baby in December and she's got her bikini body back already. That's pretty spectacular. So he is showing
00:20:53.780 off her new body and her midsection here to show how much weight she has lost. And they're really
00:21:01.180 promoting that, which I also think if she's trying to be so woke, she shouldn't be doing things like 0.99
00:21:06.640 that because that puts pressure on other women. And we've seen a lot of backlash from other celebrities 1.00
00:21:11.620 doing similar things, showing off their after birth or after baby bodies. And it's not achievable for
00:21:18.540 most people because most people can't take the time out of their day to work out for four hours when,
00:21:25.500 especially when they have four children. Anyways, another thing that she got backlash for when she 0.86
00:21:29.840 was promoting It Ends With Us, when old interviews of her, including mine, started to pop up again,
00:21:36.600 is this interview she did with Allure back in 2009. I could not find the original interview. I don't know
00:21:44.340 if they got this removed. Her quote was picked up by New York Magazine and it's still there. And she
00:21:52.520 said, I feel like a tranny a lot of the time. That's what she got heat for saying. I don't know. I'm
00:22:00.180 large. They put me in six inch heels and I tower over every man. I've got this long hair and lots of
00:22:07.640 clothes and makeup on. I just feel really big a lot of the time. And I'm surrounded by a lot of tiny
00:22:12.920 people. I feel like a man sometimes. I can actually relate to her saying that because I am the same
00:22:19.260 height as Blake. I'm also five foot ten. And sometimes you can feel very tall. And especially
00:22:24.860 in this town, a lot of people in Hollywood are very tiny and they're very skinny and it makes you feel
00:22:29.740 big. But the point is she struggled with body insecurities even before she had children. So this is
00:22:36.540 something that has followed her for a long time. And if you followed me for a long time, you might
00:22:41.800 remember that I spoke to a person who used to be an editor of a big fashion magazine in the US.
00:22:48.460 And he told me that every time they had a photo shoot with Blake Lively, and this was known in the
00:22:53.880 industry, you had to cut off all the size tags of the clothing because she refused to try anything on 1.00
00:23:01.340 if it was oversized too. So again, this is nothing new. It is something she struggled with her entire
00:23:07.260 career. Anyways, after that voice memo that I played for you, a couple of weeks later, Ryan Reynolds
00:23:13.920 texted Justin Baldoni to put a little more pressure on him. He wrote this really long text response to
00:23:20.300 Justin who reached out to him first. And he said, I just have to read some of this. He said that you
00:23:25.360 hit the jackpot with Bea Blake. She literally passes on every film and every filmmaker all the time. 0.99
00:23:31.740 That's why she's not working most of the time, obviously. But one thing I know, and I speak from
00:23:37.240 a deep wellsprings of experience here, having her in your court behind the scenes as a creative is
00:23:42.640 invaluable. I'm certain redacted would say the same. Some of the greatest creatives decision I've made
00:23:50.440 are in fact, Blake. I mean, he's talking for his wife all the time. And then he's pretending that he's
00:23:57.720 supporting women. He's not doing that here. He is acting like his wife is a damsel in distress.
00:24:03.520 And he's saying here that I understand that it means to me personally to have my family reunited
00:24:08.340 as soon as possible. Nothing means more to me either. Blah, blah, blah. Can you please move the
00:24:15.020 chute so my family can be together? It's nothing like, oh, Justin, I know you also have a family.
00:24:20.440 You also have two children that you probably want to spend time with. But it's all about us. Remember that
00:24:25.840 it's not about you. And then he ends this message like this. All that to say, I'd love to have your
00:24:32.700 line producer's face tattooed to my perineum. If he, she, they can figure out how to start a few
00:24:40.000 weeks later. Completely understand how big of an ask that is. But the perineum is one of the most
00:24:45.720 nervy parts of the human body to expose to trauma. So I had to Google where this place is. And it's in a
00:24:51.780 very intimate place between a person's legs. And Ryan used this word and said that he would tattoo
00:24:58.780 the face of the line producer in that intimate place on his body. That's okay. But to share that
00:25:05.240 you're circumcised? Oh no, you can't do that. That is traumatizing for people. So again, this double 0.99
00:25:13.320 standard. Anyways, before I end this episode, I wanted to go through this note from Anj Genetti
00:25:19.800 over at Sony. So, you know, a lot of Blake Lively's claims against Justin are that he was sexualizing
00:25:25.840 her and that he had comments about her outfits and using the word sexy, which was terrible.
00:25:31.560 So keep that in mind. And this message, these were notes from Anj Genetti at Sony on the script. So the
00:25:39.960 script was written by Christy Hall, someone who also have been dragged into that saying that she wanted
00:25:46.180 to direct the movie because she's a woman she should have. I don't know. So much to talk about 1.00
00:25:51.020 there. But so she is writing this as a note on the script. And she's saying, Justin, I'm very pleased.
00:25:57.580 Really wonderful work. Thank you. And please thank Blake. The character work is especially good,
00:26:03.100 more interesting, layered, richer and modern. My notes are all mostly page notes, which are written
00:26:09.360 on the draft. Happy to discuss if you disagree or if anything is confusing. The bigger question is,
00:26:16.120 other than language, this does not read like an R-rated movie. You know, it was supposed to be
00:26:21.720 R-rated. Blake made it PG-13 instead, but it was supposed to be an R-rated movie because it is a movie
00:26:28.340 about adult things. And that was the plan from the beginning. Readers of the book, the biggest book of
00:26:34.400 last year, are expecting some heat in capital letters. We just cannot have an R-rating for language.
00:26:43.720 That would be a huge mistake. So they would just make this movie R-rated because they said some
00:26:48.320 certain words in there. And Angie said, no, we don't, we're not going to make this R-rated just because
00:26:53.320 of that. We need some more heat in this film. We need to be, we need to take it up a notch. And she's 0.99
00:27:00.860 saying, I'm guessing the love scenes are still in process and have not been choreographed, choreographed
00:27:06.600 yet. Ultimately, that will be up to you and Blake to decide the specifics. I'm hoping they're sexy
00:27:12.900 and grown up. I know they will be tasteful, but I'm asking you to also think about moments that are
00:27:19.460 outside the actual bedroom. Moments that feel grown up and sexy. So we deliver for an audience that is
00:27:25.500 expecting an R-rated movie. So you will tell me the plan for the lovemaking scenes when you know,
00:27:31.180 but please work to find the balance between sweet, funny, and daring with moments of real
00:27:37.780 heat. She's again saying heat. Not only for the audience, but also when the movie transitions into
00:27:43.440 the abuse section, it doesn't feel like we switch from a rom-com into a drama. Very grateful to you
00:27:50.300 and for you. And it's so funny that she says that because that's exactly how I felt when I watched
00:27:57.580 the movie. First, I thought I was watching a rom-com movie. And then all of a sudden I was like,
00:28:02.140 what? What am I watching now? This is a completely different movie inside the movie. And it was really
00:28:07.220 confusing. And also one of the things that I noticed because the movie came up on my Netflix
00:28:11.760 the other day and I was like, I'm going to rewatch some of this now to see what I feel about it.
00:28:16.520 And if I can see anything here that I didn't notice when I watched it like two years ago,
00:28:21.420 and I noticed how childish and immature some of the dialogue was, especially when Ryle or Justin
00:28:30.440 Baldoni came up to Blake Lively at this party and he was like, I like you. And she said, what,
00:28:36.980 are you like five? And I was like, who says that? That is definitely something that Blake Lively added.
00:28:43.100 She added so much to the script. Every single day she added ridiculous things to the script. 1.00
00:28:48.840 And a lot of it made her character very unlikable. Because when I watched it now,
00:28:53.940 even like trying to put my feelings about Blake Lively to the side, when I watched her character,
00:28:58.820 I was like, why on earth would Ryle fall for her? Because she is not very likable. She's just like 0.88
00:29:05.340 this selfish, narcissistic person who happens to fall in love with the wrong person. But there's
00:29:11.360 nothing about her character that makes me want to sympathize with her. Anyways, the important thing
00:29:15.700 here is this is from Sony. Sony asked Justin specifically to heat up the movie, to put the
00:29:23.700 heat up, to make it more sexy, to make it more hot, to make it more R-rated. And those are the things
00:29:29.860 that Blake Lively is doing Justin Baldoni for. Anyways, that's it for me today, you guys. I hope you
00:29:35.420 enjoyed these episodes and thank you again so much for watching. I really, truly appreciate all your
00:29:41.000 support. You guys are amazing. And of course, if you haven't subscribed yet, please do. And also
00:29:45.200 check if you've been unsubscribed. Because for some reason, it keeps happening to people and they're
00:29:50.180 like, oh, I was subscribed. And then they realized that they weren't anymore. So check if that has
00:29:54.960 happened to you. And also hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode of Flawsome Talk.
00:30:00.140 And I'll see you soon. Bye.
