Flaawsome Talk with Kjersti Flaa - THEY NEVER SAW THIS COMING !!!

00:00:00.000 Ryan Reynolds is facing his biggest nightmare right now.

00:00:08.860 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Jashti Flohr, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,

00:00:13.340 and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion. Okay, so Ryan Reynolds is facing his

00:00:20.700 biggest nightmare right now. New reports are showing that his popularity is crumbling and

00:00:28.740 also his close friends tried to help him to stop him while he was acting so erratic in those text

00:00:36.780 messages to all those Sony employees and WME agents and now it has backfired. This is what

00:00:45.800 we've been waiting for. Also, more from Blake Lively's testimony. I wanted to share this with

00:00:50.960 you. This is another story that she came up with now. This is truly fascinating how she's making

00:00:57.840 this situation, which I'm going to talk about reading from her testimony, into something

00:01:03.640 inappropriate. This is truly mind-blowing. Also, let's look at some more text messages from Brandon

00:01:11.400 Sklenar. This is truly shocking because he knew a lot more than I realized a few days ago. He even

00:01:18.400 admits here that he's looking forward to Justin Baldoni getting fired by his agency, WME,

00:01:25.440 four months before it even happened. And yes, I'm wearing florals. Anyways, let's get into it.

00:01:33.380 So there's a few articles now starting to pop up telling the truth about Ryan Reynolds and those

00:01:39.940 fuming text messages that he sent to people in Sony and to WME. Here is a very interesting angle

00:01:47.240 though. So Radar Online is reporting that Ryan Reynolds sparks fears he's set to spiral back into

00:01:55.380 anxiety after his blistering takedowns of Justin Baldoni were exposed. So now, I don't know,

00:02:04.100 are they trying to make us feel sorry for him now because all of this has backfired? And it says here

00:02:10.100 that Ryan has been very open about his struggles with anxiety in the past and now he might get anxious

00:02:17.380 again. It says here that Radar Online can reveal rattled Ryan Reynolds is facing fresh concerns in

00:02:24.700 Hollywood after a cache of explosive text messages revealed the depth of his fury towards Justin

00:02:31.420 Baldoni, prompting fears among friends that the Deadpool actor could be pushed back into an anxiety

00:02:39.500 spiral. He has previously spoken about openly. So first of all, I don't think this is a fresh

00:02:46.660 concern in Hollywood in general. I think people are more shocked in Hollywood in general right now of

00:02:53.880 his behavior. I don't think they're concerned about him personally because in this town, people really

00:02:59.680 don't care about anyone but themselves. But apart from that, his fury towards Justin Baldoni,

00:03:05.880 I think is what really shocked people. Where is this anger coming from? Why is he so angry with

00:03:13.140 Justin? And as you know, I've read through these text messages in an episode a few days ago and there's

00:03:19.100 nothing really there where he's saying that he's so worried for his wife because she felt so unsafe.

00:03:25.340 It's all about blaming Blake's unpopularity on Justin. It's his fault that the public no longer likes his

00:03:33.820 wife and that is the major issue for Ryan. He doesn't like that people don't like his wife

00:03:39.700 and now it turns out people don't like him anymore either. And now it seems like finally the press has

00:03:48.100 started to pick this up. There's this really great article in the Puck today. Puck is a Hollywood

00:03:54.380 newsletter basically for insiders. A lot of people here read it and this journalist obviously investigated

00:04:01.100 all of those text messages that were released. And this is quite interesting because it says here

00:04:06.340 that Ryan Reynolds' friends were worried about him and tried to stop him. The journalist is saying

00:04:12.680 that sources told me that long before the latest batch of texts and emails became public, some of

00:04:18.240 Ryan Reynolds' famous friends saw the publicity around his level of involvement in his wife's battle

00:04:24.980 with Baldoni as a problem for him and even discussed some sort of intervention to urge him to back

00:04:32.280 down. It's unclear whether that happened but it appears the concern was well placed. So I'm assuming Hugh

00:04:40.440 Jackman is probably one of those people close to him who tried to stop him. Why did they let this go so

00:04:48.200 far? It seems like his friends as well were asking the same question. Why didn't you stop Ryan?

00:04:54.540 Why didn't you stop the world from seeing these text messages that makes you look like a complete

00:05:02.080 bully? And as it turns out, this has really hurt Ryan's reputation. It says here that according to

00:05:09.400 Parrot Analytics, which tracks public sentiment via social media mentions and video comments,

00:05:15.840 Ryan has been on a swift descent over the past few years. In January 2023, more than 80%

00:05:24.140 of public sentiment around him was positive. So that was in January of 2023 before any of this leaked to

00:05:34.200 the press. By the end of 2025, just a month ago, that figure had dropped to just above 20%. That's like

00:05:43.120 a 60% drop. And it says here, that's despite Reynolds producing, co-writing and starring in Deadpool and

00:05:48.920 Wolverine, the second highest grossing movie of 2024. Lively has far even worse. Her positives dropped

00:05:58.180 from a high of just over 80% in early 2023 to roughly 10% last December. So here we have the real

00:06:09.420 sentiment because this comes from the public. This is not what comes from the media. So 10% support Blake

00:06:17.500 Lively. That means 90% doesn't. Good luck at the trial, Blake. And the journalist here mentions,

00:06:25.860 amongst other things, that Ryan and Lively wanted Baldoni disinvited. They didn't want him to show up

00:06:31.620 at the premiere at all. They wanted to disinvite him so he wouldn't even be able to see his own movie.

00:06:38.700 And then when he showed up, he hadn't seen the movie yet because Blake Lively didn't allow him to

00:06:45.100 watch her cut of the movie. And then Ryan had the audacity to write his agent at WME Zavala that

00:06:53.400 Baldoni first saw the finished film at the premiere, adding, it's baffling, it's baffling that he has the

00:07:00.560 lazy lidded confidence to even show up. I think most people in Hollywood are just shocked by how

00:07:10.940 Ryan has terrorized other people in the industry here. Not only Justin Baldoni, but he put so much

00:07:18.240 pressure on all these people. He put all these people's jobs in jeopardy. And here is mentioned

00:07:24.480 that he managed to actually pressure Sony to come out with a statement supporting Blake.

00:07:30.020 So there was an article in the Hollywood Reporter. I remember when that came out and I was like,

00:07:34.200 oh my God, this is so desperate. Where Vince Zikera from Sony was praising Lively's passion and commitment

00:07:41.600 to advancing the conversation around TV. This is so great. And it's also really funny because

00:07:50.640 Blake had accused Justin Baldoni and all the other actresses to accuse him of talking about that

00:07:57.420 to make them look bad. And that's why they didn't talk about it. And here Sony is praising her for

00:08:02.340 actually talking about it. Well, that's what she was criticized for not doing. He added,

00:08:08.900 we love working with Blake. Can you imagine him sitting writing this or saying this to the reporter?

00:08:17.420 Oh my God. We love Blake. And we want to do 12 more movies with her. Well, can't wait for those 12

00:08:24.200 movies to come out. I don't see anything in the pipeline here yet. And the journalist there is

00:08:30.600 adding that for an executive like Vince Zikera, this unusual statement must have seemed like a major

00:08:36.440 concession, but not to Reynolds. A couple of days later, he wrote to Zavala, his agent, saying the

00:08:43.520 thing they did with THR, Hollywood Reporter, is a joke. So it wasn't good enough for him. He wanted

00:08:50.000 war. So he kept pushing for more. He wanted the whole cast to come forward and support her. So again,

00:08:56.620 if you missed that episode where I went through all these text messages, I will leave a link below

00:09:01.000 so you can catch up on that too. And then he criticizes two people from Sony being really rude

00:09:05.940 to them. Both Todd Black and Ange Giannetti are very accomplished people. And Ryan is describing them

00:09:14.140 as Todd and Ange are effing textbook, ineffectual elderly people with no ideas or thoughtful 1.00

00:09:21.740 communication skills, just blunt instruments with six catchphrases and about five key words.

00:09:29.220 And the journalist is adding here that Giannetti is in her 50s and Black is his 60s and Reynolds is 49.

00:09:36.820 So he's an ageist too. Shame on you, Ryan. And then the journalist asked people if they think that

00:09:43.320 Blake is hireable or is she blacklisted in Hollywood. And she's quoting an executive

00:09:50.920 here saying, I would say she's still not employable. And the person added, you would almost have to

00:09:56.900 be playing into what the public now knows about her and thinks about her. Hollywood operates with 1.00

00:10:03.120 herd mentality. You have to be brave to go against the grain. There's awareness that she's not

00:10:08.780 untalented. And the movie was a hit. At some point down the line, there's going to be an opportunity.

00:10:15.340 This person said, well, good luck to the person who wants to hire Blake Lively. And you have to

00:10:20.580 remember, it's not only about the people who are willing to take the risk to hire her, but it's also

00:10:24.960 do people want to watch a movie with Blake Lively if 90% of people don't like her anymore?

00:10:31.340 Then they get to Ryan Reynolds here and his future projects. And it says here,

00:10:36.260 meanwhile, Apple has been sitting on a finished Skydance movie called Mayday, a comedic survival

00:10:42.560 story starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh for more than a year. Sources say release date will be

00:10:50.580 announced soon. It will go straight to streaming, likely in September. Apple declined to comment.

00:10:58.520 So they're sitting on a Ryan Reynolds movie that they're not putting on their platform.

00:11:04.540 There's no explanation why. And it says here that Ryan has another project on the runway,

00:11:10.300 his executive producer and voice in Animal Friends from Warner. That movie was supposed to premiere in

00:11:16.840 October of 2025, but it's been moved to May 1st this year. So in a few months, just before the trial,

00:11:26.200 I can imagine all of these co-stars are super excited to go on a red carpet and promote this

00:11:32.980 movie with Ryan Reynolds. His co-stars are Aubrey Plaza, Jason Momoa, Vince Vaughn, Dan Levy,

00:11:40.140 and Addison Rae, amongst others. So yeah, not great timing for that movie. I'm thinking they moved it to

00:11:47.740 May 1st before they knew that this trial was pushed from March to May. So they gave it like two months

00:11:55.880 after the trial, but now this is going to come out like two weeks before the trial. Terrible,

00:12:02.980 terrible timing. And it says here that one source who was tasked with helping him fight this battle

00:12:09.480 has been left shaking his head. So there was a person here who was helping Ryan in this battle.

00:12:16.460 I don't know who this is. He understood, he said, Reynolds need to support Lively and hold Baldoni

00:12:22.620 accountable if she truly felt she'd been harassed. Having said that, this source added, if that isn't

00:12:32.300 the case, this is the dumbest effing thing I've ever seen in my life. And I guess that's where we 0.98

00:12:40.620 are at this point. I think this is probably one of the dumbest effing things I've seen in my life so 0.99

00:12:47.380 far. And it keeps on giving. Okay, so let's get into this deposition from Blake Lively that I just 0.99

00:12:55.460 read this morning. I mean, I just had to share this with you because it is so absurd what she's trying

00:13:02.000 to do in this conversation with Justin Baldoni's attorneys. So he's basically asking her to go through

00:13:09.260 all the moments during the filming that she felt that he was inappropriate to her. And she's

00:13:16.680 mentioning this incident. Hold your horses. So here the attorney is asking, I just want to walk through

00:13:22.920 some of the other allegations of SH. One of the things that's alleged in the amended complaint

00:13:28.720 is I believe that you're saying that Justin compliment your outfit. Is that correct? No, says Blake.

00:13:36.700 Are you saying that one of the instances of SH or something that made you otherwise uncomfortable

00:13:41.960 was there was one day in which Justin commented on how much he liked your outfit? No, says Blake.

00:13:49.600 Did Justin ever say anything inappropriate or that bothered you concerning an outfit that you wore?

00:13:56.380 And she says, there was an incident that made me uncomfortable. Yes. And what was that incident?

00:14:01.540 Late May of 2023. He's asking, do you remember the date exactly? She doesn't. And do you remember

00:14:08.400 where it took place? And she says, yes. Where did it take place? On a set, a bar set where we were

00:14:14.920 rehearsing. That was the bar scene. No, it was, we were rehearsing that scene, but no, it was not the scene.

00:14:22.800 It was when I arrived to work. And can you tell me what happened? Can you be on, can you be more

00:14:28.800 specific? Blake says, how can you be more specific of what happened when you felt harassed? And the

00:14:35.760 attorney saying, sure. What about whatever happened there made you feel uncomfortable? And she says,

00:14:42.200 I was wearing a, I had a newborn baby and I had a jacket on and that was covering my dress underneath.

00:14:49.660 And I bent down to pick something up and the jacket opened and my dress was low cut because it was

00:14:54.820 easier to feed my baby. And Mr. Baldoni said in front of, Justin said in front of, I remember in

00:15:01.820 front of Jenny Slate, I have a witness. And I don't remember specifically who else was there, but he

00:15:08.100 said, I like your outfit. And he gestured on the chest. So basically it went something like this.

00:15:17.260 I like your outfit. Okay. Keep that in mind. And the attorney saying, you just made a movement of

00:15:27.860 your hand. Yes, says Blake. It's hard for the court report to mark those downs. What do you mean?

00:15:34.880 He made a gesture of his hand and said, I like your dress. He gestured across the chest. Did he

00:15:44.540 gesture across your chest or his chest? He said, I like your outfits. Now it's not your dress anymore.

00:15:51.500 Now it's the outfit, I guess. He moved his hands up and down, like above and below his chest.

00:15:57.920 And then the attorney is asking, he moved his hand up and down, like above and below his chest or your

00:16:04.760 chest. I was standing in front of him. So I don't know whose chest, but he didn't touch my chest.

00:16:11.400 Okay. If that's what you're asking, when he made the gesture in front of his chest,

00:16:17.620 was his arm close to his chest or closer to your chest? I don't recall. And what were you doing

00:16:24.440 during this time? Was it during a rehearsal of some sort? We weren't rehearsing the scene yet,

00:16:30.060 but I was on the set to rehearse the scene. And then they're asking who else was present on the set.

00:16:35.960 And the person I remember most is obviously, and then it was probably Justin and Jenny,

00:16:41.020 but then it's cut off. Can you believe it? He said that he liked her outfit and that's a part of a

00:16:49.020 lawsuit. I mean, I mean, I give up. Is she really going to sit and talk about this in front of a jury

00:16:58.980 and make them believe that that made her feel unsafe? Again, there are real victims out there.

00:17:05.620 And this is such an insult to all of them. Okay. So let's get into Brandon Sklenor again. I saw he

00:17:13.000 was out there promoting a movie and someone asked him on the red carpet, what he feels about his texts

00:17:18.300 being released. And he was just like walking away and getting away from the situation.

00:17:23.280 Anything about the Texas you want to clear up? Anything? Nah.

00:17:26.380 So again, all these people that Blake Lively dragged into her lawsuit, all the people that

00:17:33.400 supported her, they must be furious with her at this point. Because what she's shown here that

00:17:39.960 she's willing to do, because she can't accept the fact that the public doesn't like her,

00:17:45.440 she is dragging all these people down with her. And now the public doesn't like Brandon Sklenor anymore.

00:17:51.860 They don't like Jenny Slate anymore. They don't like Colleen Hoover anymore. They definitely don't

00:17:57.060 like Ryan Reynolds anymore. Or any of these people who came out to support her. I really think they

00:18:04.660 all regret that decision right now. Because what is this for? For the greater good of women? 0.88

00:18:11.400 Come on. Anyways, let's get into Brandon Sklenor's text messages, because this is terrible.

00:18:17.260 So this is a text exchange between Blake and Brandon, her co-star. And it ends with us

00:18:23.560 on August 12th of 2024. So just a few days after the premiere. The premiere of the movie was

00:18:30.720 in New York on August 6th. And that was so this was in the middle of all the mess when Blake Lively

00:18:38.780 was promoting this movie and received all this backlash. And so did her co-stars, by the way.

00:18:43.220 So it starts off here with Brandon saying, who is this person? I think Blake sent him

00:18:48.960 an attachment of something. And then Blake says to Brandon, for your info, we are each looking to

00:18:54.840 post resources for people experiencing DV. I can and should fill you in more first if you want to post

00:19:02.280 also. So this is quite interesting, because this shows that Blake wanted her co-stars to talk about

00:19:10.820 the subject of the movie and promote it. And all they've been saying through all these depositions

00:19:16.720 that I've been reading from is that they were told not to talk about that. And they're blaming

00:19:22.780 Justin Baldoni for their backlash, because they're saying that he had told them with no sources and no

00:19:29.560 fact that it came from the Wayfair parties that they were not supposed to talk about the subject of

00:19:34.420 the movie. And then Justin Baldoni did. So that made people like him and not like them. But anyways,

00:19:39.940 this is quite interesting, because here she's asking him to push that narrative anyway. So that

00:19:45.400 whole argument just fell apart. Brandon likes the message. And he says, great, definitely getting

00:19:50.880 hits with comments, really grinding my gears. So he's admitting here that he's getting a lot of hate

00:19:59.140 online. And it's really, really bothering him. And Blake's ignoring that saying, Sony is pulling

00:20:05.340 together a graphic with organizations by region that we were released in, getting that to us all

00:20:11.260 ASAP. So now they're trying to save this situation from where they got all this criticism for not

00:20:16.720 talking about DV during the promotion. And now she's just telling all her co-stars to post these things

00:20:22.740 on their Instagram with links to organizations. Brandon responds, that's good. Definitely think we should

00:20:29.320 hold off on that create video, given the way things are leaning in the comments and what he's putting out

00:20:34.020 there. Talking about Justin, what he's putting out there. What is he putting out there? Anyways,

00:20:39.640 at the very least, I can show my friends and Courtney. I don't know who Courtney is. Blake says,

00:20:44.540 no one is touching any special content until we get through this Baldoni shitstorm. So I think

00:20:51.460 they're talking about a video. I don't know if we ever got to see that, because I did look back and see

00:20:56.300 when that video was released, the video where Ryan Reynolds is pretending to be the jealous husband,

00:21:02.440 this spoof where he crashed a junket, a press junket with Brandon Sklenor. And that was released

00:21:10.240 three or four days before this. So it's not that one they're talking about here. Could be another

00:21:15.960 one that we actually never saw. Who knows? Then Blake says, this man is a monster to levels I never

00:21:22.960 imagined. And I thought I saw it all. Remember, Blake praised Harvey Weinstein when she worked with him

00:21:31.880 and Woody Allen. And she was even a special guest at a Jeffrey Epstein party. But she's never seen

00:21:38.840 a monster like Justin Baldoni. Brandon agrees and says it's actually insane. What are they even

00:21:45.740 talking about? What did Justin do at this point? He just went out to promote the movie. He didn't say

00:21:50.120 anything bad about anyone in this cast. And Brandon says he's projecting the exact opposite of

00:21:57.380 everything. Constructing all of it. They are so twisted. Just praying it all comes out, he says.

00:22:05.060 Well, Brandon, your prayers have been heard because now it has all come out. And then he says,

00:22:12.280 I have no idea how. Well, now we know how because all of your text messages has been leaked and we got

00:22:18.620 to see the entire picture here. And then he says something interesting. He says, I'm sure once WME

00:22:24.300 drops him, it will snowball. So this was in August. And this is the time when Ryan was putting pressure

00:22:33.140 on WME to drop Justin Baldoni. They didn't do it until that article came out in the New York Times.

00:22:41.200 And then they dropped him the same day. It was all planned, obviously. But how did Brandon Sklenor know

00:22:47.160 that WME was going to drop Justin Baldoni if it wasn't coming from Blake and Ryan? It's so

00:22:56.320 telling. And this, as I said, is four months before it actually happened. So Blake has obviously told

00:23:04.020 him we're working behind the scenes here to get Justin fired from WME. And then he adds naturally.

00:23:10.940 And then Blake says, I think at some point we're all going to have to confirm it.

00:23:14.560 If even anonymously or jointly, this is so painful and awful for everyone. So basically here she is

00:23:22.360 blaming all the backlash they're receiving from people like you and me and the public in general.

00:23:27.480 They're blaming all of it on Justin. And that's why he's a monster. Then she's saying to Brandon, 1.00

00:23:32.780 he has an entire machine and team and bots prepared for this. None of us do, not even Sony,

00:23:41.200 because none of us had anything to hide. Okay. None of us has anything to hide. Well,

00:23:50.660 now you don't anymore because now we know everything. But really what she's saying to

00:23:54.280 Brandon here is, you know, this is all him. Don't believe any of the hate you're getting online

00:23:59.860 because Justin Baldoni has hired an army of bots to hate you. And Brandon says, I agree. None of us

00:24:07.040 deserves all of the hate at all. Especially you. Pissing me off so much. Just have to block it out.

00:24:15.420 But every time I go on Instagram, I read something. And Blake says, yeah, I'm legitimately depressed

00:24:21.900 and heartbroken. Like in an immense amount of pain. I'm sorry it's being aimed at all of us.

00:24:28.040 You included. She's not sorry about that. She's so happy that all of them are getting dragged

00:24:33.580 down with her because that's what she wanted. That's why she got all of them to get on board

00:24:40.520 with Ryan Reynolds' idiotic PR for this movie. Remember, Ryan's company was responsible 0.99

00:24:47.780 for the marketing of It Ends With Us. And then somehow they managed to blame everything on the

00:24:53.960 Wayfair parties. It's so dumb. And then on August 20th, about a week later, Brandon Sklenor caved 1.00

00:25:02.400 and came out with a message public supporting Blake saying that it's disheartening to see the

00:25:08.800 amount of negativity. There was a long message and the Hollywood reporter, of course, picked this up

00:25:13.940 and wrote a story about it where he says, amongst other things, all I ask is that before you spread

00:25:20.000 hate on the internet, ask yourself who it's helping. Ask yourself if your opinions are based in any fact

00:25:27.180 or if you simply want to be part of something. Let's be part of something better together. A part

00:25:33.420 of a new story being written for women and all people everywhere. Lead with love and please be

00:25:39.480 kind, Brandon. This is coming from a guy who just called another man a monster because he's receiving

00:25:47.680 backlash online for teaming up with Blake Lively. He even said that he can't wait for Justin to get

00:25:55.260 fired by his agency. That's just cruel. He was great. I mean, he, he did a really good job at

00:26:02.500 balancing being both, you know, a lead actor in the film and then being a director and a producer.

00:26:07.520 And honestly, the entire crew that he assembled was just, it was a really pleasant environment to

00:26:13.680 work in. Anyways, that's it from you guys. I hope you enjoyed this episode and thanks again for all

00:26:19.440 your support and all your feedback and all your lovely comments. You guys are amazing. I love

00:26:25.440 this community here. It's so supportive and it's so respectful. So really, thank you. Thank you for
