Flaawsome Talk with Kjersti Flaa - This BACKFIRED Big Time !!

00:00:00.000 She just suggested the real reason why Taylor Swift did not invite Blake Vively to her wedding.

00:00:08.080 You've got to hear this one.

00:00:14.080 Hi and welcome to Blossom Talk. I'm Tashti Flohr, journalist, Hollywood truth teller and your voice of reason in a town built on delusion.

00:00:23.280 Okay, so actor and screenwriter Zoe Kazan just made a lot of Swifties angry.

00:00:29.180 She just suggested the real reason why Taylor Swift did not invite Blake Vively to her wedding.

00:00:37.580 You've got to hear this one.

00:00:39.280 Also, let's talk about how Taylor snubbed all of her five godchildren from attending her wedding

00:00:45.520 and how manipulative it was of Blake to ask her in the first place to be godmother of all of her children.

00:00:53.580 And yesterday I spoke about Ryan's declining acting career.

00:00:56.880 And now there's a report of dropping sales from Aviation Gin and how they just had to close down a visiting center.

00:01:06.340 And guess what this internet slew on Reddit just found?

00:01:10.240 Ryan Reynolds trying to change the script of It Ends With Us to also include advertisements for his Aviation Gin.

00:01:19.440 This is insane.

00:01:21.540 And we have to talk about Prince Harry's big loss.

00:01:24.600 The headlines are everywhere today that he lost his major lawsuit against the Daily Mail.

00:01:31.720 And now he's facing a bill of up to 50 million pounds.

00:01:37.840 And I just have to comment on my comment yesterday about Sandra Bullock.

00:01:42.420 A lot of you asked me what happened.

00:01:45.160 What's the story you have of Sandra Bullock?

00:01:47.360 So if you didn't watch my episode yesterday, I said that Sandra Bullock supported Ryan Reynolds in a comment on Instagram.

00:01:53.040 and the fact is I had an interview with her some years ago and she was not being very nice to me

00:01:59.520 and I found out later that she was being quite a hypocrite calling me out for what I asked her.

00:02:07.300 Anyways I might tell that story at one point and also how Billy Bob Thornton was the one who stepped 0.86

00:02:12.980 in and saved me. Okay but let's get into this. So as I said Zoe Kazan who is a screenwriter and an

00:02:21.080 actress. And this little twist here is quite funny because Zoe played the New York Times

00:02:27.180 journalist Jodie Cantor in the movie She Said. And in that movie, we saw how two journalists,

00:02:34.440 the other one being Megan Thewey, took down Harvey Weinstein. And as you know, Megan Thewey

00:02:40.960 is also the journalist who wrote the story about Justin Baldoni that basically tarnished his career

00:02:48.000 and his livelihood and his reputation.

00:02:51.620 So I think it's a bit interesting that this is actually coming from her.

00:02:54.560 Anyways, yesterday she tweeted this,

00:02:57.180 talking about why Blake Lively was not invited to Taylor Swift's wedding.

00:03:01.840 And she said,

00:03:02.380 I think she didn't invite her because she has come to the end of her marriage plot,

00:03:07.900 thus cutting off access to her first great subject. 0.97

00:03:11.540 Rather than root for her own divorce, 1.00

00:03:13.440 she's generating the next chapter of interpersonal drama for herself via female friendship and then 0.99

00:03:22.180 she adds or as my father once told me as soon as you answer one dramatic question in your screenplay

00:03:29.360 you must pose the next one or you will lose your audience interesting I was thinking the same thing

00:03:36.380 what is Taylor Swift going to sing about now that she is so happy in love as she's suggesting here

00:03:42.940 she can't start speculating about her own divorce so she needs to find drama elsewhere and according

00:03:48.840 to this article in Us Weekly Zoe got a lot of backlash from this tweet it says here that

00:03:55.220 Kazan's post attracted backlash from disagreeing fans of Swift leading to the actress defending

00:04:01.740 her stance in a subsequent ex post shared three hours after the original and she said hilarious

00:04:09.040 to me that is being read as critical she's explicitly made her love life the subject of her

00:04:15.320 work yielding many good songs now as a storyteller she needs a new subject she then concluded what a

00:04:23.640 touchy fandom and then it says here that kazan's theory made further waves on reddit with one fan

00:04:30.300 questioning her motive do they have beef because this is a stone cold takedown wrote one swifty

00:04:37.440 while another amused social media user commented Zoe Kazan being involved in this was unexpected

00:04:43.740 but it's interesting lol. Yeah let me know what you think. Will Taylor Swift sing about Blake

00:04:49.980 Lively? As you know a lot of people speculated that the song Cancelled and I Like My Friends

00:04:55.040 Cancelled was about Blake Lively and maybe that song was written before the real fallout between

00:05:01.780 the two friends because she obviously said that she likes her friends cancelled. Obviously she

00:05:06.880 doesn't like them this much cancelled. Yeah very interesting theory there. Okay so let's jump into 1.00

00:05:12.020 this article in the Daily Mail talking about Taylor Swift being the godmother of all of Blake

00:05:18.060 and Ryan's children. I thought she was only the godmother of the three daughters but here it says

00:05:22.560 she's the godmother of all four of them and this journalist says devastating reason Taylor Swift's

00:05:28.060 godchildren weren't invited to her wedding. Blake Lively's most manipulative move yet has

00:05:33.860 sensationally backfired. And it says here, 1000 guests, but Taylor couldn't make space at her

00:05:41.060 wedding for four of her godchildren. Ouch. It's safe to say her friendship with her mother,

00:05:46.700 Blake Wively, appears to be well and truly dead. And it says, but surely there was a time when

00:05:52.500 Blake and her husband, Ryan, imagined their own daughters scattering petals at Taylor's feet

00:05:57.960 or their son serving as an adorable page boy.

00:06:02.220 It's sad that children have been caught in the crossfire.

00:06:05.920 Collateral damage in a feud not of their making.

00:06:08.820 And you might argue it was cruel of Taylor to punish them

00:06:11.660 for the supposed sins of their parents.

00:06:14.920 Yes, I agree.

00:06:15.880 But it would also be a little weird if she invited the four godchildren

00:06:19.380 and not their parents.

00:06:21.260 But perhaps Blake should have thought of that

00:06:23.480 when she decided to drag Taylor into the ugly legal battle with Justin.

00:06:26.940 She was, after all, gambling away not only her own decade-long friendship with Taylor,

00:06:31.540 but also the relationship her kids had with their godmother.

00:06:35.840 I don't blame Taylor for not wanting any toxicity on her big day.

00:06:40.400 Me neither.

00:06:41.400 Why would you want someone like Blake there? 0.96

00:06:43.300 You know it would make so many headlines and take away the magical moment that Taylor wanted to create for her and Travis.

00:06:51.540 And here comes the interesting thing the journalist is saying.

00:06:53.980 I happen to think it was very telling in the first place.

00:06:56.940 that Blake asked Taylor to be a godmother no less than four times in a row.

00:07:03.100 For James, her oldest daughter, who's called James for some reason,

00:07:07.600 not a great name for a girl, if you ask me, but anyway, she's 11.

00:07:11.800 And Inez, who is nine, Betty, who's six, and Olin, who is three.

00:07:19.400 It feels greedy, desperate, manipulative even.

00:07:23.520 And thinking about the two oldest daughters, who are 11 and 9, of course, they are big fans of Taylor Swift.

00:07:30.940 They've been to her concerts, and insiders have told me that Blake's daughters used to go to Taylor's house for playdates.

00:07:40.680 Taylor even made songs mentioning their names in the songs.

00:07:45.200 So, of course, this is devastating for them.

00:07:47.880 And I really wonder what Blake told her daughters is the real reason

00:07:51.560 for their auntie Taylor not being around anymore.

00:07:55.380 Maybe she's just saying it's adult stuff.

00:07:57.560 You don't understand it.

00:07:59.260 You also have to keep in mind, Blake and Ryan are basically neighbors,

00:08:03.600 all of them living in the same neighborhood in New York, in Tribeca,

00:08:07.160 which is not a big neighborhood.

00:08:08.640 So not that they're actually going to run into each other in the streets,

00:08:11.420 because I don't think Taylor just wanders around

00:08:13.520 like Blake and Ryan does when they go on dates.

00:08:16.140 And this journalist is saying here that personally, I avoided the temptation of asking my wealthiest friends to be godparents to my children.

00:08:23.560 Obviously, the birthday presents would have been excellent, as I'm sure Taylor's were.

00:08:28.100 And then she says here that she has a billionaire friend and he's been joking about how many people are asking him to be the godfather of their children.

00:08:39.320 And she says one thing would be to ask him once, but to ask him four times, that's a bit too much.

00:08:44.940 And then she says, Blake probably thought she was locking Taylor in for life when she did that.

00:08:52.040 I think so too.

00:08:53.720 It gave her leverage because she could always say, you know, you're the godmother to all my children.

00:08:59.800 How can you not support me publicly in this really important legal feud that I have going on?

00:09:05.500 Yeah, I don't know if Taylor signed anything to say that she was the godmother of these kids

00:09:10.280 or if it's just something they agreed on just for a PR move for Blake Lively to say,

00:09:15.740 hey, look how close we are.

00:09:17.580 I have my dragon and she also is the godmother of my children.

00:09:21.560 Yeah, I agree here.

00:09:22.440 This was complete manipulation from Blake Lively's side.

00:09:25.500 Okay, so let's talk about Ryan Reynolds' aviation gin and what's happening there,

00:09:30.180 the decline in sales and how this visitor center is just closing down after three years.

00:09:38.680 So as I said yesterday, Ryan's acting career is really on decline and Hollywood is refusing to

00:09:46.360 work with him at the moment. And it seems like it's not only his acting career that's going down

00:09:51.160 the toilets, his gin is too. So this was reported yesterday that his Aviation American Gin Visitor

00:09:58.620 Center in Portland, Oregon is closing down less than three years after opening the attraction

00:10:04.840 as the spirit giant continues to reshape its business amid weaker North American sales.

00:10:12.060 So the visitor center opened in 2022, just two years after Diego acquired Aviation Gin

00:10:19.300 in a deal worth $335 million.

00:10:23.640 The brand is closely associated with actor Ryan Reynolds, it says here,

00:10:27.940 who invested in Aviation Gin in 2018.

00:10:30.420 and here someone on reddit is saying that the portland aviation gym building that was recently

00:10:36.360 reported on closing its door was ryan reynolds themed and then they added some photos here from

00:10:43.060 what it looked like inside his face and name was everywhere and a major draw to the location so

00:10:49.620 many people have been turned off from the tone-deaf narcissist couple after their smearing and

00:10:54.800 malicious legal actions towards justin baldoni and wafer studios and he says here it's no

00:11:00.220 surprised that a building that significantly relied on Ryan Reynolds' celebrity persona

00:11:05.280 to draw people in has tanked. The location had nods to his movies, humor, and image. The building

00:11:14.340 even had an escape room that featured a painting of Ryan Reynolds that would give the direction to

00:11:20.460 the entrapped participants. The escape room was set up as his office and his desk read,

00:11:26.280 desk of a humble genius look at that how cringe is this the wall art of his movies had little

00:11:35.320 quips about each one etched on a metal plaque and the person says here i found all this info

00:11:41.400 through reviews of the aviation gin location and photos from there too and then it says here that

00:11:47.340 the tour would cost 35 and it took an hour and and according to the reviews here they spoke really

00:11:54.080 highly of the staff, and no one should really blame them for any of this. It's interesting to

00:11:58.780 see how Ryan Reynolds' empire is crumbling now. This is called karma. I think there's a Chinese

00:12:07.540 saying, saying that if you're seeking revenge, make sure to dig two graves. Anyways, talking

00:12:14.420 about Aviation Gin, I found this post on Reddit this morning, and this is quite interesting. So

00:12:19.780 this person has gone through the script of It Ends With Us and compared it to what actually ended up

00:12:25.300 in the movie. And they looked at that restaurant scene when Lily, played by Blake Lively, brought

00:12:31.100 her mom to meet Ryle, played by Justin Baldoni, for the first time. And they go into this restaurant

00:12:38.500 and guess who owns the restaurant? Atlas, who was Lily's first love and he's played by Brandon

00:12:46.420 splenar and then a female waiter comes over to take their drinks order and here from the original

00:12:53.840 script it says a female waiter asks them here we go three waters to start so that's what they

00:13:01.320 ordered three waters what else can I put in for you and then the actress who plays Blake Lively's

00:13:07.200 mom in the movie says I think we should share a bottle of wine it feels like that kind of occasion

00:13:12.380 and Lily says great I'll be right back I also need to use the restroom and then what ends up in the 0.99

00:13:18.780 movie it says here that the female waitress comes over and says here we go what else can I put in

00:13:24.620 for you and then Lily Bloom's mom is commenting first on something Lily said that Ryle is going

00:13:29.940 to be in a journal a medical journal whatever and then she adds this I'm having a negroni I feel so

00:13:36.960 rebellious. Then Lily says, my turn, I'll be right back, I gotta use the restroom. Okay, so what

00:13:42.960 happened here? As this person is pointing out, I finally saw it ends with us, and the scream I

00:13:48.960 scrumpt when I reached this scene between Lily, Blake Lively, and her mom, I instantly knew Ryan

00:13:56.240 Reynolds got his grubby hands on this dialogue once I heard the word Negroni. In case you didn't

00:14:03.020 know. That drink is his origin story for why he bought a steak in aviation gin. I'll bet he wanted

00:14:11.200 to plug the brand name, but it would make this involvement too obvious. So he did this instead.

00:14:17.960 And then the person says, after watching the scene, I ran off the script to see what was

00:14:22.420 originally there. Sure enough, there was no mention of Negroni drinks in the 2022 version.

00:14:29.280 Yes, I am 100% sure this is Ryan Reynolds doing.

00:14:34.120 Let's make a Negroni. 0.98

00:14:35.240 Ryan planted all these little Easter eggs in the script for his own pleasure.

00:14:41.040 So when he watched the movie, he could be like, I put that in there.

00:14:45.780 And this is a sneak ad for my aviation gym.

00:14:50.360 Let me know what you think about this.

00:14:52.320 Was this a coincidence that Lily's mom all of a sudden wanted a Negroni?

00:14:57.700 when the original script said that let's share a bottle of wine yeah I don't think so anyways let's

00:15:04.060 jump to this Prince Harry drama as you know he's gone after basically every tabloid newspaper in

00:15:12.520 Britain and this was the last one of all those legal feuds in 2023 he actually won over Daily

00:15:21.120 Mirror, Sunday Mirror and the people the claims against that those newspapers were that they were

00:15:26.000 doing phone hacking and illegally obtained information about him. And in January last year

00:15:31.780 he settled a case with the Sun and News of the World. They were also accused of phone hacking

00:15:37.860 and other unlawful information gathering and he obtained substantial damages for that and a public

00:15:44.140 apology. Then he went after the Daily Mail and Sunday Mail and he just lost a big time. He got

00:15:51.820 support from Elton John, Liz Hurley, David Furnish, Sadie Frost and Doreen Lawrence and his lawsuit

00:15:57.900 has been going on for years but the judge just ruled a 436 page ruling throwing out all of his

00:16:07.720 claims. During the trial over 40 journalists were questioned and they had to explain how they got

00:16:13.720 their sources and how they obtained their information in so many articles that were

00:16:19.500 written about 20, 22 years ago. Some of them luckily kept their notebooks so they could prove

00:16:27.080 that, hey, we did not hack into his phone. We did not tap his phone lines. We did not obtain any of

00:16:33.740 this information illegally. And as one of these journalists explained to Piers Morgan this

00:16:38.300 morning, she said, you know, I was invited by Prince Harry to party with him. And she also

00:16:43.060 talked about how stressful this has been for her and also to remember how you created a story about

00:16:50.000 20 years ago the thing is if you obtain information illegally you will remember that as she also

00:16:55.760 pointed out you know i did journalism the hard way right i went out i went out every night i

00:17:01.080 partied i partied with prince harry that story came out in in the court when you know he couldn't

00:17:06.560 remember but he invited me into the party into his inner circle so this is obviously a huge

00:17:12.280 vindication for this journalist and a big loss for Prince Harry. Right now he can't really afford

00:17:19.020 to get any more bad press. So this is just terrible for him. And as I said, all the headlines are

00:17:24.460 focusing on how Prince Harry lost. They're not really mentioning all the other people involved

00:17:30.220 in this lawsuit. And in the UK, if you lose a case like this, you have to cover the legal fees

00:17:35.240 of the people that you sued. And that is estimated to be around 50 million pounds. So I don't know

00:17:41.760 how they're going to split the bill between them because now as you know harry is cut off from the

00:17:46.900 royal family he doesn't get an allowance from them he has to make his own money now but the irony of

00:17:52.860 this which i totally agree with as pierce morgan pointed out is that prince harry accused these

00:17:58.900 journalists of invading his privacy while he released a book to reveal inside information

00:18:05.100 to trash the royal family himself and i would say that it's valid to point out this hypocrisy

00:18:10.660 Because nobody has invaded the privacy of the royal family like he has.

00:18:16.740 Harry has made a fortune, gazillions of pounds,

00:18:21.580 trashing his family and revealing the most extraordinarily intimate secrets.

00:18:26.440 Invading everyone else's privacy.

00:18:28.140 I also believe, though, that there are a lot of unethical journalists out there.

00:18:32.000 But we also have to remember how the celebrities are using journalists as well.

00:18:37.340 It goes both ways here.

00:18:39.000 And as Pierce Morgan pointed out here as well, Princess Diana used to call him.

00:18:44.040 They used to have tea together.

00:18:45.620 She used to feed him information all the time.

00:18:48.720 And that's how it works.

00:18:49.860 And that's something that we learned from this Blake Wiley case, how the publicists

00:18:53.460 keep planting stories.

00:18:55.220 But they always, of course, want the stories to just benefit them as soon as the resources

00:18:59.680 saying something else that could damage their reputation is all about journalists being

00:19:04.660 unethical.

00:19:05.200 so yeah i also spoke to a daily mail journalist not too long ago she was a witness and she said

00:19:11.440 it was one of the most stressful experiences of her life having to sit on that stand and go through

00:19:18.140 her notes that she wrote over 20 years ago i don't think i had any notes from when i reported

00:19:26.640 for newspapers about 20 years ago i would never i would never keep stuff like that anyway it

00:19:31.780 be interesting to see how prince harry responds to all of this if he's going to come out and say

00:19:35.940 anything about it but yeah that's it for me today you guys thank you so much for watching

00:19:41.700 and thanks again for subscribing and if you haven't done that please do and also check if

00:19:47.300 you've been unsubscribed because it keeps happening to people and i see it in the comment section all

00:19:51.620 the time like oh i have been unsubscribed and i had no idea i had and i didn't understand why i

00:19:56.260 I didn't get notifications anymore so yeah if you're interested in following this closely please

00:20:01.480 do that and thank you to my executive producer Oscar who is no longer here he just left he was

00:20:07.940 like I had enough I'm gonna go and nap somewhere else so good for him
