Flaawsome Talk with Kjersti Flaa - This is GETTING real !!

00:00:00.000 And guess who's not invited? And the bride is on Blake Lively's witness list.

00:00:09.880 Hi and welcome to Flossom Talk. I'm Kersti Flo, journalist, Hollywood truth teller,

00:00:14.260 and your voice of reason in a town built on the illusion. Happy New Year if I haven't seen you

00:00:20.160 yesterday. And happy Friday, everyone. I'm excited for this weekend. On Sunday, I'm going to the

00:00:26.720 Critics' Choice Awards. And I'm especially interested to see if Chelsea Handler is going

00:00:31.940 to throw more shade at Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni as she did last year. It is important

00:00:37.300 in times like these to have a distraction. And that's why I want to personally extend my gratitude

00:00:43.800 to Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively.

00:00:47.940 Thank you for providing us with that distraction. I'm grateful. I think we're all grateful.

00:01:00.620 And I think we're good.

00:01:05.100 I think everybody in this room, no matter whose side you're on, we can all agree to accept that

00:01:12.140 there's probably not going to be a sequel. It ends with us, guys. I will give you a recap from

00:01:19.880 behind the scenes on Monday. Anyways, what else is new? Taylor Swift went to a wedding on New Year's

00:01:26.260 Eve. And the bride is on Blake Lively's witness list. And while we're at it, let's look at some of

00:01:32.140 the more witnesses that Blake Lively named on her list of people who potentially have knowledge

00:01:38.420 to the situation. I think that list is shrinking right now. And also, one of the people on that

00:01:45.100 list, the intimacy coordinator, just showed up on another production. This is strange.

00:01:51.360 Talking about scandal, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, his wife, are both being sued now. This

00:01:58.840 latest lawsuit smells so fishy and it looks like something that's been taken right out of Blake

00:02:04.320 Lively's playbook. Okay, so let's get into it. Taylor Swift was spotted in a

00:02:08.400 gold gown at her friend's wedding, Estie Himes, who is a part of the Himes sister. They're all

00:02:16.400 musicians that Taylor Swift have been working with. They've been really close friends for a long time.

00:02:21.160 And they're obviously a part of Taylor Swift's girl squad. I knew that I had that name from

00:02:26.660 somewhere else. And that is because she's on Blake Lively's witness list. So are her sisters.

00:02:33.480 And that just tells me everything about the rest of the people that Blake Lively put on her witness

00:02:38.860 list. Obviously, she was not invited to this wedding because if she was, there would be some

00:02:44.420 paparazzi photos of her. And she would definitely have jumped on a chance to take selfies with other

00:02:49.900 celebrities, to gush about them on Instagram, to pretend that she still has friends. Other people on

00:02:55.240 Blake's list of over 100 names are, of course, Taylor Swift and Emily Blunt, Gigi Hadid, Hugh Jackman,

00:03:04.000 and these three sisters. And her co-stars from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pans, Amber Tamlin,

00:03:11.920 America Ferrara, Alexis Blendell, and also Scooter Braun. And then Taylor Swift's friend and stylist,

00:03:21.000 Ashley Avignon. What does she know about what happened on the set of It Ends With Us? What do

00:03:26.940 any of these people know about anything that happened on the set of It Ends With Us?

00:03:30.760 I was devastated when I saw that she dragged Emily Blunt into this because I always thought Emily

00:03:36.360 Blunt seemed like such a level-headed person, such a grounded person. And I also like her husband,

00:03:42.260 John Krasinski. And we saw that Emily came out and supported Blake for the premiere of Another

00:03:48.060 Simple Favor. And I was like, oh no. Apparently, they've been friends for a while because People

00:03:54.400 Magazine did a story when Emily came out and supported her and said that Blunt also attended

00:03:59.760 Lively's baby shower for her second child. And Ryan and Blake hosted a reception at a screening of

00:04:07.480 Mary Poppins' return with Emily Blunt. And apparently they've done some double dating, I think.

00:04:13.360 This Fashion Week moment of you and Blake Lively once went viral.

00:04:19.320 Yeah. Look at us. Oh my god.

00:04:22.200 Do you remember what you were laughing about? 1.00

00:04:24.320 I think I was worried that she was flashing her vagina. So it might have been something to do with 1.00

00:04:28.940 that. Zendaya doesn't look very happy though with our jokes.

00:04:33.260 I wanted to see what I could find out about their friendship and how deep it goes and how far back

00:04:37.700 it goes. And Emily Blunt is not on Instagram. So good for her because Instagram is really the source

00:04:44.020 of a lot of speculation when it comes to celebrities. But her husband, John Krasinski, is on Instagram.

00:04:49.740 And John Krasinski directed a movie that Ryan Reynolds produced called If. And that movie wrapped

00:04:57.220 in May 2023, which was exactly when It Ends With Us started shooting. And Blake Lively also voiced one of

00:05:05.600 the characters in If. It was a movie that was a mix of animation and real characters. And Ryan Reynolds

00:05:12.460 played a real character. And he was also producing the movie that had so many major stars in it. You

00:05:19.080 won't believe the list of stars. Everyone from Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, George Clooney, Amy Schumer.

00:05:26.160 Yeah, the list goes on and on and on about all these big stars. And the movie flopped big time.

00:05:31.540 And John Krasinski pushed the movie. He used Ryan Reynolds to push the movie. But it still didn't

00:05:36.860 work. But we know now that John Krasinski directed Blake in this movie because she had, as I said,

00:05:42.620 a role in it. And that's why I think it's interesting that he is not following Blake Lively on Instagram.

00:05:49.460 He's following Ryan Reynolds, though, but not Blake. And he did not show up at the premiere of

00:05:55.280 Another Simple Favor with his wife, Emily Blunt. So back to the question, what does Emily Blunt know

00:06:00.720 about what happened on It Ends With Us, of the set of It Ends With Us? Well, we know Emily Blunt

00:06:05.040 also had a part in If. And when they wrapped that movie in May of 2023, Ryan Reynolds had already yelled

00:06:15.260 at Justin Baldoni in their penthouse in New York in front of Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman. So maybe

00:06:22.300 Blake told her about it. But what I find so ridiculous about this whole scenario of the

00:06:27.500 people that Blake are mentioning on her witness list are that none of them has any first-hand

00:06:33.380 knowledge of what happened. If they have any knowledge, it is from what Blake Lively and

00:06:37.720 Ryan Reynolds have told them. And I think that the only reason why Blake are mentioning all these

00:06:42.540 people on her witness list is to intimidate the wayfair parties to say, hey, look at all my dragons. 1.00

00:06:48.200 It's not only Taylor Swift and my husband, Ryan. I have all these other people as well,

00:06:53.400 which are no longer my friends. Interestingly enough, that movie If is about imaginary friends.

00:06:59.680 How fitting. And talking about witnesses, if you compare Blake Lively's list of witnesses who are

00:07:04.320 just like famous people and some people working for Sony and mainly people who were never on the set

00:07:11.000 of it ends with us, and you look at Justin Baldoni and the wayfair parties' list of potential witnesses,

00:07:16.820 they're all production people that are directly connected to the production of the movie.

00:07:22.980 They are camera operators, they are assistant directors, they're costume designers, they are boom operators, 1.00

00:07:30.040 location managers. Everyone involved in the daily work on this movie are on their list.

00:07:37.840 None of these people are on Blake's list. I wonder why. Anyways, one of the people that are on both

00:07:44.280 people's list is the intimacy coordinator Lizzie Talbot. I remember reading about her a while back

00:07:50.560 because she was allegedly the one intimacy coordinator that Justin told Blake about. And he

00:07:56.040 wanted Blake to meet her before they started shooting. And as you know, Blake declined that offer

00:08:00.200 and said, you know, I don't need to meet with anyone. We'll just do it when we start shooting.

00:08:04.280 So then Justin felt a little awkward that he had to go directly to Blake to talk about these intimate

00:08:10.920 scenes with her. And during these conversations, he brought up some of his own experiences. And that's

00:08:16.880 of course what we know now, something that Blake used against him. But anyways, Liz Talbot just showed

00:08:22.880 up again. Thank you, Deborah, for sending me this interview with Paul Feig. As you know, Paul Feig

00:08:28.640 directed Blake in another simple favor. And as you know, Blake Lively's co-star from It Ends With Us,

00:08:34.700 Brandon Splenar, got offered a role in Paul Feig's movie because of Blake. And now it turns out that

00:08:42.800 Lizzie also got an opportunity to work with Blake Lively's BFF director, Paul Feig, in his movie,

00:08:51.540 The Housemaid.

00:08:52.660 It's really uncomfortable. But, you know, we had a great intimacy coordinator. The two

00:08:56.580 actors who did it, no spoilers, were just so comfortable with it. And they were cool. I was

00:09:03.200 the only old hung up guy in the room. But by the end of shooting, you're just yelling and

00:09:07.300 you're like, you know, have an orgasm. And you're like, okay. 0.53

00:09:12.440 We don't want to know that.

00:09:13.580 Exactly.

00:09:14.220 We don't want to get personal stuff.

00:09:15.840 Well, Lizzie said, the intimacy coordinator said, face these like they're stunt scenes.

00:09:20.200 I go, oh, that, okay, that's the key.

00:09:22.360 Another one of Blake's supporters is also a part of that movie,

00:09:26.640 Miguel Maron. I've been talking about him before. I showed a clip of a video from

00:09:32.200 his Instagram the other day when he went out and supported Blake Lively and said that everyone

00:09:37.280 else is wrong. You have to read that article in the New York Times. But anyways, I thought it was

00:09:41.880 very interesting that she's now working with Paul Feig. Because of course, that makes me think like,

00:09:46.760 what did Blake promise her for her to get that job? And why are none of these two projects

00:09:53.140 mentioned on her IMDb? She hasn't mentioned that she worked on It Ends With Us. And she also didn't

00:09:59.580 mention that she worked on this movie. Anyways, I wanted to talk a little bit about Will Smith here

00:10:03.640 because I saw that Jada Pinkett Smith was sued the other day by a person who's known the family for

00:10:09.920 like 20 years, I think. His name is Brother Bilal. I'll get back to him shortly. And then I saw

00:10:15.160 yesterday, Will Smith was sued. And when I read this story, I was like, okay, I don't know about

00:10:23.620 this one. And he reminded me of this interview that I watched with Will Smith a few years ago,

00:10:28.900 when he said that in a regular year, he gets sued from like 15 to 20 times. It was an enormous

00:10:34.960 amount of times of people that are opportunist and people that want to take advantage of celebrities.

00:10:41.140 This is a part of the world of being a celebrity. And we see it all the time. And when I read this,

00:10:46.260 I was like, okay. So if you missed the story, this is a violinist. His name is Brian King Joseph.

00:10:53.480 And he filed a complaint a couple of days ago here in California. And he said that Smith was

00:11:00.500 deliberately grooming and priming him for further exploitation after inviting him to join his global

00:11:08.560 tours. So he's a musician that joined Will Smith on his tour last year. And apparently in this lawsuit,

00:11:14.900 he's detailing traumatic series of events that happened on this tour. So what he's claiming is

00:11:22.140 that he had discovered that someone had entered his Las Vegas hotel room with no sign of forced entry.

00:11:29.360 Evidence of a sexual threat or violence allegedly included a handwritten note reading,

00:11:36.280 Brian, I'll be back dot dot dot just us with a drawn heart and signed stone F as well as wipes,

00:11:47.740 a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another individual's name,

00:11:55.340 an earring and hospital discharge paperwork belonging to an unknown person. So Joseph here alleges that

00:12:02.920 he feared that an unknown individual would soon return to his room and start doing inappropriate

00:12:07.640 things to him. And that caused Joseph to have severe emotional distress, economic loss, reputational harm

00:12:15.120 and other damages, including PTSD and other mental illness as a result of the termination.

00:12:23.300 So apparently he lost his job. So he's also suing for retaliation here. Sounds familiar.

00:12:28.520 And he said that he reported this to the hotel staff and to a local non-emergency police line

00:12:35.160 and to Smith's management team. So he has no evidence that this was from Will Smith or anyone

00:12:41.540 from his team. He's just blaming it on them. I don't get it. And he doesn't even say how much money

00:12:47.620 he wants. I mean, if you get mental illnesses and PTSD from someone leaving something in your hotel

00:12:53.880 room. I don't know. What do you guys think? Do you believe this guy? I feel everything all again.

00:12:58.540 It's just about his feelings, about how he how he read this situation, that he felt that this was a

00:13:06.140 threat towards him. And he can't even point that this is coming from Will Smith. Adding to this,

00:13:11.800 Jada Pinkett Smith was sued for $3 million in the beginning of December last year. I just watched

00:13:19.300 an interview that Popcorn Planet, Andy Signor, did with Brother Bilal. It's really interesting. He's

00:13:25.660 asking him really good questions. So he's suing Jada for $3 million. And he's basically describing a lot

00:13:33.400 of really disturbing stuff that went on in Will and Jada's personal life. And especially with Jada.

00:13:42.080 And he's saying that there are freak-off tapes with Jada doing really weird stuff. I mean,

00:13:48.260 there's been a lot of rumors about Will and Jada's relationship before and that they are really into

00:13:53.140 kinky stuff. But he is pushing it to the limit of illegal stuff. And that's what's interesting here.

00:13:59.020 And he's saying when whatever he has to say becomes public and this goes to court, both

00:14:04.900 Will and Jada will end up in jail. He also said that he was threatened by Church of Scientology

00:14:10.940 and he's faring for his life. So I don't know where the truth lays here. I don't know too much

00:14:16.700 about the situation. But I have to say, I've met Will Smith many times. I've also met Jada Pinkett

00:14:22.180 Smith. I've also met Jaden Smith. And it is an interesting family. I've said this before about Will

00:14:28.700 Smith that he is hands down one of my favorite people to interview. That doesn't mean that I

00:14:35.020 don't condemn what he did at the Oscars. I'm just talking about my experience with the celebrities

00:14:40.480 from a personal perspective. But I have to say, interviewing him has always been some of my

00:14:46.180 highlights, you know, because he is so sincere. He's so friendly. He knows the game. He knows how to

00:14:53.240 behave. And as a journalist, I really appreciated that because, you know, I could ask him about

00:14:57.940 anything. And I asked him a lot of questions about his personal life. And he talked to me about how

00:15:02.600 he and Jada, their parenting style and how, you know, they let their kids basically do whatever they

00:15:08.760 wanted. Will Smith told me the only rule is that they have to clean up their room and no Justin

00:15:13.700 Bieber posters on the wall. But that was the only rule. And he was laughing about that. But anyways,

00:15:18.780 Jada Pinkett Smith is a little different. I had a great interview with her once. But I remember the

00:15:23.760 person who just had interviewed her while I was entering the room. She said,

00:15:27.480 oh, she's in a bad mood. She got really annoyed with me because I asked something about the movie.

00:15:31.620 And I was told beforehand, don't ask her about the movie. So I didn't. I asked her about her red

00:15:37.500 table talks. And you're bringing your family into it as well. So you probably had to have a talk with

00:15:42.200 them before you did this. Were they all positive about it? Oh, yeah, for sure. I wouldn't do it if

00:15:47.580 we weren't all on the same page. Yeah. Do you think it even made you stronger as a family to do

00:15:52.260 something like that? I think you already have to be a strong family to do it. Honestly, you know

00:16:02.320 what I mean? As you know, she also admitted that she had a relationship with one of her son's

00:16:07.320 friends. I think he was 22 at the at the time and she was 40. This was like 10 years ago now. I guess

00:16:14.300 having so many skeletons in the closet that probably hasn't come out yet, it makes them an easy target.

00:16:20.200 And when someone's been close to the family for so long, they know a lot of stuff and that kind of

00:16:25.200 stuff can be used against them. But anyways, I don't know enough about these cases yet to know

00:16:30.420 where the truth lies. But I do recommend watching the interview with Brother Bilal, as I said, because

00:16:35.780 it's quite interesting. And I'm curious to see where all of this goes. So much scandal, you guys.

00:16:42.240 Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this episode. Thank you so much for watching. And if you haven't

00:16:46.680 subscribed, please do hit the notification bell so you never miss an episode of Flawsome Talk.

00:16:51.680 And also check if you've been unsubscribed because it does happen a lot that people think they're

00:16:56.360 subscribed and then something happens and they're not. So anyways, I really appreciate that you reached

00:17:01.820 out to me as well. Some people send me some great tips. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And I'll see

00:17:07.800 you soon. Bye.

00:17:08.800 I just have to say that you are always so positive and look so happy and have this energy about you

00:17:15.520 that is very rare that you meet people like you. So are you always happy? Or are you just

00:17:21.620 hiding?

00:17:22.400 You know, it's funny. I think I look at the world through a lens of comedy. Right? So my natural

00:17:32.860 reaction is always no matter when something happens and I can't even help it. It's why

00:17:37.400 is that funny? You know, so even at a funeral, I can't help but think why that's funny, you

00:17:46.460 know? So it's extremely helpful for me just psychologically that no matter what's going on, I can't keep

00:17:54.360 my mind from finding jokes. Yeah, we've lost some talk.
