I'm gonna take you guys through one of my typical workouts that I do.

For me, a weak point day is pretty much shoulders and arms, right?

Because those are my two lagging body parts that I've always had, right?

And this typically happens when you're a taller guy and thin.

So, it's always been something that I always kind of specialize in whenever I do a weak point day.

So, the way my workout plan works, guys, is I'm in the gym somewhere between Two to five times a week, right?

But I would say it's average, probably around three to four, right?

I go in, I do a full body workout, then I go in and do shoulders and arms.

Then I go back in and do a full body workout, then shoulders and arms.

And the full body workout typically is like legs, push, pull.

And then, I don't really do isolation movements like that, but on this weak point of day, like today, I'll do shoulders and arms.

So we're gonna be focusing on hitting the shoulders and then hitting the arms as well.

We're gonna do, I'd like to do supersets, drop sets, that type of thing.

I keep my rest periods relatively short, so you guys are gonna see I'm only gonna be taking like, No more than two minutes.

I really, like, absolute most I take between sets is like three, you know?

But in general, I typically like to keep my rest periods like 90 to 120 seconds.

If I really want to go hard, maybe three minutes, whatever.

But I like to work out with a hoodie in the beginning, get warmed up and shit like that.

The first movement I'm probably going to do is You want me to do a shoulder press?

And then we'll do some raising and sperm and stuff like that.

So, one thing you guys are going to notice is I do a lot of volume.

What I like to do is I like to do simple movements, lots of steps, right?

Typically, sometimes what I'll do is I'll go either pyramid up, start really light, high reps, and work my way up in weight while simultaneously bringing it down reps.

Or, what I'll do is I'll just pick one weight, stick to somewhere between 7 to 15 reps.

Sometimes I'll do that too or stick with one weight.

In this situation, you know, do a couple of one more steps, I like to get a good one.

Now, what you can do is you can even pause at the bottom and bring it back up.

If you really want to, you know, feel the burn.

The reason for that is it puts your shoulder in a stronger, more comfortable and safer position, right?

One of the biggest mistakes guys make is like not drinking enough water before the gym and then not bringing water with them to the gym.

So, what might be comfortable for you might not necessarily be, you know, optimal for me as a taller guy.

90 minutes that gaps for most, but I've noticed it's better to go to the gym more frequently and train hard in shorter spurts than to spend two hours.

I'd rather get volume for frequency versus duration.

Consistency is what gives you the gains anyways.

The longer you stay in the gym, the worse your output's gonna be.

If you're a natural guy, and you do these super voluminous workouts, you can only recover so fast.

And we know for hypertrophy, volume is the number one thing.

If you can bench press, you know, let's say 225, right?

And you do five sets one day, then do another five sets later on, versus like trying to do 20 sets in one day, well, your output isn't going to be the same, because if you spread it out, you're going to be more energized, you're going to be able to get more volume, more quality volume doing it that way, spreading it out, and more frequency.

So, and they've done studies on this, like Eric Holmes and them, like they found training a body part two to three times per week is superior to training it only one time per week.

So, I'm not a fan of going to complete failure, unless it's like your last set or it's like an isolation movement.

But, you know, when you're doing bigger muscle groups, going to failure, because you've got to weigh the cost, right?

You go to failure, you bust your load early in your third set.

Well, that's going to affect your ability to output volume for the rest of the workout, maybe even for the rest of the week.

So you're better off stopping one to two reps short of failure and then just do more sets.

Let's say you got 225 on the bench, and you do it 10 reps.

Well, the next set you do, you might only get three.

Then the set after that, you might get another three, another four.

Versus if you had just went maybe seven reps, Then do seven reps again, or six, and you do that for four to five sets, you'll get way more fucking volume than the guy that blew his load in the beginning and only got ten reps.

Then he has to go by three, four, five, whatever.

So that's the beauty of like, kind of like, I don't want to say pacing yourself, but like distributing the volume in a way where it's quality volume.

Everyone uses different things, but yeah, your CNS basically, when you go to failure too often.

I do it sometimes, because you have to, but when you have a workout partner, it's so easy.

Those are the three ways that you basically hit the triceps, all the three heads.

And I'm just, only thing I'm really focused on is getting like a good squeeze at the bottom.

Sometimes, like, you know, if you break form, you do this stupid shape, like, take a deep breath, blow out, get nice and set, and then keep going.

A lot of you guys go to the gym and you only lift weights, but your cardio sucks and you're fat as fuck.

You can't just be like one of these dudes that's like, I only lift weights, I don't do no cardio, or whatever.

Like, for me, I was an endurance athlete, so I don't mind running and shit.

But there was a period of time where I was like, fuck that, I don't want to run anymore.

So what I did was, I just upped the intensity with the weights, did more reps, and used that almost like as a cardio session.

Because, let's be honest, a lot of people go to the gym, but who's actually in there, like, training?

There's a difference between working out and training.

When you're working out, you're just, like, kind of checking a fucking box.

So you have something to train for, so you're going to actually go harder.
