00:03:56.840 And while in Israel right now, I'm reviewing my discussion, my interview with Dr. Peterson,

00:04:07.180 He is a bit of the man of the hour, as it were.
00:04:10.940 He had his attempt to overturn a previous court ruling shut down by the Ontario Court of Appeal,
00:04:16.740 which refused to hear his case.
00:04:18.180 Peterson has been arguing that the Ontario College of Psychologists overstepped their bounds
00:04:23.520 when ordering him to undergo what he describes as re-education in social media.
00:04:29.980 Now, you can dispute whether that is the actual term that should be applied,
00:04:34.740 but there's no doubt that the college has said you will undertake social media training
00:04:38.500 that we deem appropriate or lose your license.
00:04:41.880 That's a heavy toll.
00:04:43.060 It's also something that he warns the rest of us can apply to every single profession out there,
00:04:49.540 every single regulated trade, any job where you have a college that decides if you're fit to pursue your life's work.
00:04:57.460 Well, now they can determine whether your social media interactions,
00:05:01.280 your public statements on issues of life, of politics, is worthy of you continuing in that job,
00:05:07.660 be it a teacher, hairdresser, a barber, a plumber, a doctor.
00:05:12.140 All of these professions have regulatory bodies,
00:05:14.880 and thanks to this court ruling from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice
00:05:20.040 and the decision by the Ontario Court of Appeal not to hear it,
00:05:23.860 in Canada's largest province anyway,
00:05:26.040 these bodies now have immense power over you.
00:05:29.180 That's a big part of what Dr. Peterson's warning is about.

00:05:34.040 but we also discussed his options and how he ended up in this unlikely position.

00:05:46.740 but we have been talking frequently since this became a court issue,

00:05:59.180 Let's back this up for people who don't know why you're in trouble,
00:06:03.740 other than the fact that you're a troublemaker.
00:06:06.760 I mean, it seems to follow you everywhere,
00:06:08.740 but why are you in trouble with the Ontario College of Psychologists?
00:06:14.520 What prompted this?
00:06:16.120 Let's give people a base understanding.
00:06:19.320 They feel that I pose a danger to the public
00:06:21.320 and that I'm a disgrace to the profession.
00:06:24.500 Those are essentially the accusations,
00:06:27.180 and they've already decided that I'm to be re-educated for an indefinite period of time
00:06:34.580 by anyone they choose at my expense,
00:06:38.000 with the outcome being whatever they deem appropriate.
00:06:41.820 Despite the fact that the people that will educate me,
00:06:45.400 so-called social media experts,
00:06:46.880 have no standing as scientists or researchers,
00:06:50.840 let alone clinicians,
00:06:52.260 that there's no such thing as the field of social media expert.
00:06:55.880 There's no criteria by which they could judge my success,
00:06:59.140 et cetera, et cetera.

00:07:28.440 and saying that this is a problem for anybody
00:07:30.780 in any regulated profession or trade,
00:07:33.480 I had people writing me and saying,
00:07:34.980 well, he's a psychologist,
00:07:37.180 and he advised people to kill themselves.
00:07:40.220 Oh, yeah.
00:07:40.560 Well, that's one of them, yeah.
00:07:41.840 So I'll tell you that story.
00:07:43.280 So I've noted for years the proclivity
00:07:47.580 of environmentalist do-gooders
00:07:50.920 to claim that the planet has too many people on it,
00:07:54.560 and one of the most egregious offenders on that front
00:07:57.160 was moralizing madly on Twitter,
00:07:59.580 and I suggested to him that if he felt
00:08:01.740 that the population needed to be reduced,
00:08:04.640 that he might consider contributing to that himself.
00:08:08.940 And so that apparently...
00:08:10.280 That's a joke.
00:08:11.160 There's no such thing as a joke now.
00:08:15.160 That was counseling to suicide.
00:08:16.620 But that is something that I've said to people for years.
00:08:19.800 You know, I've heard from environmentalists
00:08:21.580 that have a ton of kids and say,
00:08:23.360 we have too many people.
00:08:24.420 Well, you know, you're still here,
00:08:26.580 and you had a bunch of kids,
00:08:27.960 so if you think that, you know,
00:08:30.160 the humans on the planet
00:08:32.420 are a locust that are just eating everything,
00:08:35.400 well, why this?
00:08:36.940 Well, and we could delve into that a little bit.
00:08:42.240 Like, I've felt for 30 years
00:08:44.280 that statements like that are generated
00:08:47.500 by a literally genocidal, anti-human spirit,
00:08:52.040 so to speak,

00:08:55.880 and has them say such things
00:08:57.960 without really noticing what they're doing.

00:09:29.400 let alone someone in distress to suicide.

00:09:46.060 there were never any complaints levied against me
00:09:47.940 when I was a practicing psychologist
00:09:51.060 prior to my rise to public notoriety, let's say.
00:09:54.800 And I practiced for some 20 years
00:09:56.920 and also no complaints levied against me
00:09:59.320 of any sort as a professor, by the way.
00:10:01.660 And that was because I didn't do anything
00:10:03.260 that would generate such complaints
00:10:05.540 back when you had to do something
00:10:06.900 to generate complaints, let's say.
00:10:08.760 The people who complained
00:10:10.160 were about 15 people,
00:10:13.240 17 people scattered all over the world.
00:10:15.860 They complained online.
00:10:17.620 The college decided to pursue 13 of those complaints,
00:10:20.680 even though they are not required to.
00:10:22.420 In their judgment, they determined
00:10:24.380 that that was reasonable.
00:10:25.880 Six of the people claimed in writing
00:10:28.200 to be clients of mine,
00:10:29.400 which was a complete bloody lie.
00:10:30.940 Not only were they not clients of mine,
00:10:33.100 they didn't know anyone
00:10:34.180 who was ever a client of mine.

00:10:37.320 that I actually interacted with on Twitter
00:10:39.700 to the degree that I did complained.

00:11:14.480 by the moral-mongering globalist utopians.
00:11:19.160 And, oh, yes, I pointed out to the world at large

00:11:29.320 for Swimsuit or for Sports Illustrated.

00:12:12.900 from someone who's practicing psychology in Ontario.
00:12:17.560 But these were people who just didn't like
00:12:20.380 what you said on social media.
00:12:22.180 I mean, how far flung were they?

00:12:26.020 London, most of them were Americans.

00:13:06.340 But now you can submit a complaint.

00:13:45.400 but I didn't, I haven't done anything

00:16:14.000 Doré is a case for people that don't know.
00:16:16.540 It's cited often in administrative cases,
00:16:20.020 but it's about a lawyer complaining about a judge
00:16:23.680 and then the entire judicial system
00:16:25.580 coming down on this guy
00:16:27.400 because he had a biased judge against him.
00:16:31.220 And that's what they're using to go after you.
00:16:34.500 And Justice Chavez, who, by the way,

00:16:44.520 fight to overturn the abortion laws in this country,

00:16:52.440 no, like, sure, your rights were violated,
00:16:54.920 but it's justified under Section 1.
