00:00:00.000 It's Jules, this is Ryan, uh, lives on an airplane that's been hijacked, and things don't go well, and it's not looking good, I just want you to know I absolutely love you, I want you to be good, I'm so happy this time, uh, same to my parents and everybody, and I just totally love you, and, uh, I'll see you later, bye babe.
00:00:27.280 What are those people going to do?
00:00:28.560 There are dates that live on a calendar, and then there are dates that live in your soul.
00:00:53.860 And September 11th is one of them.
00:00:56.380 It's a date when America learned that the unimaginable was not impossible.
00:01:00.920 It's the date when 3,000 people left home expecting an ordinary day at work or on a
00:01:07.020 trip and never returned home.
00:01:10.680 And this week, we also remember Charlie Kirk, a husband, a father, a son, a friend, and
00:01:15.220 a man murdered while standing on a stage speaking his mind.
00:01:20.800 Two stories, but the same warning.
00:01:24.180 A free country cannot survive if we forget who was killed, why they were targeted, or
00:01:31.320 what happens when hatred becomes more important than human life.
00:01:35.460 And tonight, we remember Charlie.
00:01:38.120 We remember September 11th, and we asked a question that makes people uncomfortable.
00:01:43.780 What has America learned?
00:01:47.460 And what are some people now trying to make us forget?
00:01:51.360 Charlie Kirk was 31 years old.
00:01:54.180 He wasn't a soldier. He wasn't on a battlefield. He wasn't carrying a weapon. He was standing
00:02:00.560 before an audience doing what he has done for years. He was talking. He was debating. He was
00:02:05.960 challenging people and asking them to defend what they believed. You didn't have to agree with
00:02:12.980 Charlie Kirk. You didn't have to like his politics. You didn't even have to watch his videos or attend
00:02:18.100 one of his events. But you should understand what was taken from our country when he was
00:02:23.600 assassinated. When he was murdered, a husband lost his wife's future with him. Children lost
00:02:30.060 their father and parents lost their son. Friends lost someone they could call and a movement lost
00:02:35.460 its leader. And we probably lost a future president of the United States. And America
00:02:41.460 lost another reminder that public speech is becoming more dangerous when political enemies
00:02:48.140 decide the person speaking is less valuable than the opinion they should hold. Charlie believed
00:02:54.840 conversations were a fundamental component of our country. He went into college campuses because he
00:03:02.140 believed people who disagreed with him were not enemies. They weren't enemies to be destroyed.
00:03:06.640 They were Americans to be heard, and he gave them a microphone. He was killed for speaking.
00:03:13.980 he was killed for using his voice hear that again he was killed because of the first amendment yet
00:03:23.720 his voice carries on it's still being heard and overnight after he was murdered millions of charlie
00:03:29.740 kirks were created charlie taught us we cannot be intimidated into silence charlie taught us to pick
00:03:36.360 up the microphone and his legacy will live on forever. And that brings us to September 11th,
00:03:46.340 because Charlie's death was not the first time America was told that our freedom should be
00:03:50.800 surrendered to fear. 25 years ago, Islamist terrorists hijacked four commercial airplanes
00:03:57.200 and turned them into weapons. They attacked the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the people
00:04:03.980 aboard Flight 93 who fought back, who said, let's roll. They weren't confused. They weren't
00:04:14.240 misunderstood. They were terrorists driven by an ideology, a radical ideology that declared
00:04:19.220 innocent civilians legitimate targets. And they're alive and well today, more so than ever before,
00:04:25.720 some might argue. And they wanted America to believe that our freedom was fragile and that
00:04:30.680 one spectacular act of violence could make us retreat from the world, from our values,
00:04:35.300 from our culture, and from one another. They were wrong on 9-11. On September 11, 3,000 innocent
00:04:42.560 people were murdered. They were not a statistic when they woke up that morning. They were somebody's
00:04:48.800 mother, somebody's father, somebody's child, somebody's best friend, somebody who promised
00:04:52.980 to call when they landed off that plane. They expected to come home, and they never did. More
00:05:02.540 than 400 first responders died on September 11th, including 343 firefighters and paramedics, 23
00:05:09.700 NYPD officers, and 37 Port Authority police officers. While families watched the towers burn,
00:05:16.600 while people ran through smoke, while New York filled with ash and sirens, while New Yorkers
00:05:21.240 watched their fellow countrymen jump from windows more than 100 stories up, these men and women
00:05:28.180 moved toward the screams. They heard that people were trapped, and they went in. They didn't know
00:05:32.780 whether they would survive. They knew only that someone else needed help, and they ran to give
00:05:38.340 them help. They are America's fighters. When we say never forget, we're promising to never let
00:05:43.540 anyone destroy the fight within us. The threat 25 years later after the attacks, the streets in
00:05:50.100 Islamic countries were filled with celebrations. Look at this. We're seeing people applauding, 0.98
00:05:55.500 clapping, smiling, happy to know that thousands of Americans have died in this sneak attack. And
00:06:02.860 there you see a V for victory sign held up to the camera. Now, 25 years later, the threat remains.
00:06:10.080 New York should know better than most. New York watched the towers fall.
00:06:13.960 New York buried its firefighters. New York carried the names of the dead.
00:06:18.760 That day was a moment this country actually acted like a country.
00:06:22.320 We all knew where we were at 8.46 a.m. when the first plane hit the tower.
00:06:26.960 We knew where we were when the second plane hit the second tower.
00:06:29.680 And as a nation, we were woven together.
00:06:33.380 We were sewn together like a quilt.
00:06:36.360 We connected.
00:06:37.460 People were angry, but we were united.
00:06:39.780 We watched as President Bush sat in elementary school when he was notified, waiting to depart.
00:06:47.980 We saw his nervousness and his shock on his face.
00:06:52.400 Now look at us.
00:06:54.140 We've got a pro-Palestinian movement being pushed by the Democrat Socialists of America.
00:06:58.620 We have a group of revolutionary anarchists, Antifa street militants.
00:07:03.660 We even have Trantifa in addition to that.
00:07:06.280 We have radical activist marauders whose division, whose goal is division.
00:07:13.100 I mean, we have Hassan Piker who said that America deserved 9-11.
00:07:18.380 America deserved 9-11, dude. 0.52
00:07:20.960 Now a generation of young Americans have fallen in line
00:07:23.360 because they were taught that America is the enemy.
00:07:25.760 America is not the enemy. 0.99
00:07:28.460 Radical Islam is the enemy. 0.98
00:07:30.900 It is not a religion of peace, by the way. 1.00
00:07:34.820 It is a religion pushing Sharia law. 1.00
00:07:37.100 It's a religion that kills women, stones in the death 1.00
00:07:40.120 for the crime of showing their hair. 1.00
00:07:44.000 They don't like gays either, by the way, 1.00
00:07:46.000 all you tranny gay people that are marching through the streets for radical Islam. It's not 1.00
00:07:52.520 how this works. But after 9-11, we knew that we were Americans first, and we shouldn't let our
00:07:58.920 country fall to them. If you sympathize with Hamas, if you celebrate terrorism, if you sympathize with
00:08:04.820 organizations that target civilians, you should not be entrusted with the city of New York. But
00:08:10.820 yet here we are. The mayor of New York City, Zohan Mamdani, said that Muslims were the real
00:08:15.660 victims of 9-11 and his, quote, aunt was too afraid to take the subway because she feared
00:08:20.060 being attacked for wearing a hijab. I want to speak to the memory of my aunt
00:08:24.740 who stopped taking the subway after September 11th because she did not feel safe in her hijab.
00:08:37.380 It was later revealed that his aunt didn't even live in New York at the time. She was in Africa
00:08:41.760 because he's from Uganda, by the way, rich family in Uganda.
00:08:46.340 She didn't wear a hijab, was actually his father's deceased distant cousin.
00:08:51.360 He says Islam is pro-migration.
00:08:54.760 And I consider my own faith Islam, a religion built upon a narrative of migration.
00:09:00.780 Mamdani has done nothing but spit in the face of 9-11 families and survivors, 0.90
00:09:05.920 but then handed the ceremonial pen to someone who proudly defended a literal enemy of this country 0.67
00:09:11.260 for a bin Laden ally. It's unreal. It's not just the mayor of New York City. The governor of New 0.94
00:09:16.660 York is showing us that what 9-11 means to her. Kathy Hochul visited an Islamic center days ago
00:09:22.560 wearing a hijab, speaking to only men in the room because women aren't allowed in. 1.00
00:09:29.420 By the way, so much for being a feminist. The South described feminists voluntarily wore the 1.00
00:09:34.840 hijab to not arouse the Muslim men who were present. Showing respect for the pedophile 0.99
00:09:43.740 worshiping death cult, she shamelessly betrayed all women, all Jews, all victims of Islamist 1.00
00:09:49.540 torture, murder, and terror. 9-11 is now a meaningless number to these people. Tomorrow 0.50
00:09:56.580 America remembers. Real true America remembers. And as New York will commemorate the lives
00:10:04.480 we lost 25 years ago. 100,000 Americans have stepped up signing a petition to keep
00:10:09.600 Mamdani away from the memorial site. Our petition is not about Mayor Mamdani's religion or where he
00:10:19.260 came from. It is strictly about the policies that he has today. So we are asking him to respect
00:10:27.400 the fact that that trauma is revived during the ceremony. It is a private ceremony. It is not a
00:10:35.980 public ceremony. Mayor Mandami, please do not come. They don't want to see an Islamic sympathizer
00:10:45.860 at the memorial where radical Islam killed 3,000 Americans. I don't either. In closing, 0.61
00:10:51.360 this is the promise. Charlie Kirk was killed for speaking. The victims of September 11th
00:10:59.620 were killed because terrorists believe America could be terrorized and to surrender. They were
00:11:05.020 wrong then and they're wrong now. We can grieve without becoming weak. We can seek peace without
00:11:10.680 pretending evil does not exist. We can debate fiercely without celebrating murder. We can
00:11:16.180 welcome faith without allowing any ideology, religious or political, to place itself above
00:11:20.860 the law or above human life. So remember Charlie Kirk. Remember the 3,000 people murdered on
00:11:32.140 September 11th. Remember the firefighters and police officers and first responders who
00:11:36.620 raced into hell. Remember the families who waited for calls that never came.
00:11:43.300 remember the survivors who carried the dust and grief for decades and remember this
00:11:48.040 a political opponent is still a human being a terrorist is still a terrorist and no matter
00:11:54.540 what happens to america we must stand united against terrorism all terrorism we will not
00:12:01.640 surrender this country our patriots died protecting god bless charlie kirk's family
00:12:07.840 God bless the families of 9-11 and all of the victims.
00:12:12.000 God bless our first responders and our troops,
00:12:14.280 and God bless the United States of America.
