00:00:20.000 Live from New York, it's Get Off My Lawn with Gavin McInnes.
00:00:26.000 Ah!
00:00:27.000 Wasn't a trary of canary that caught my yesterday.
00:00:44.000 But I got no f***s.
00:00:48.000 You do say to me everything I wanna be right now, just the way we're burning down to the ground, to the ground.
00:01:04.000 I'm around for baby, I'm happy in the USA.
00:01:08.000 All right, that is a song called Western Chauvinist by a dude named Ty Richards.
00:01:16.000 Now, when I first heard that song, I took it totally literally and assumed that it was an homage to Western chauvinism.
00:01:27.000 And Western chauvinism is accepting that the West is the best.
00:01:31.000 Somehow, we are living in a world that is so left-wing that that is seen as white supremacy.
00:01:38.000 Nope.
00:01:38.000 In fact, the reason the West is the best is because they eschew identity politics.
00:01:43.000 And they say, no matter where you're from, come here legally and do a good job and you're in.
00:01:50.000 Other countries don't have that.
00:01:52.000 In India, they have an intense caste system where you'll never be part of the top brass if you were born in this group.
00:02:00.000 Same with Japan.
00:02:01.000 You can be, if you're an untouchable, their lowest class, you have no future.
00:02:05.000 If you're Korean and you're born in Japan, you will never be considered Japanese.
00:02:11.000 That's the East.
00:02:12.000 In the West, we have an opposite perspective, and that is, come here and bust your ass, and you're in.
00:02:18.000 And you can be a black conservative even, and you shouldn't be harassed.
00:02:23.000 You can have bizarre views.
00:02:26.000 You can believe in lizard people.
00:02:27.000 You can believe the earth is flat.
00:02:29.000 You will not be punished.
00:02:30.000 Unfortunately, that seems to be changing now.
00:02:34.000 And we are punishing people who don't think correctly.
00:02:39.000 There is thought policing in this country.
00:02:42.000 And Ty Richards is the latest, I don't want to say victim, but target.
00:02:48.000 So play some of that video.
00:02:50.000 Can you pull up that video?
00:02:51.000 It just, I'm a proud boy, baby, and I'm happy in the USA.
00:02:55.000 I'm a Western chauvinist with no apology.
00:02:58.000 And it says, there's nothing controversial in this song, by the way.
00:03:02.000 I got my bootstraps pulling up, and they're taking me away.
00:03:06.000 Got my housewife, honey, and she's happier than you or me.
00:03:08.000 I want my drugs, guns, fast cars, booze, crews, and babies, too.
00:03:14.000 Can you turn it up?
00:03:15.000 Who's been in two?
00:03:16.000 Don't you ever, ever, ever, ever tell me what to do.
00:03:22.000 What to do.
00:03:24.000 Falling for it, baby.
00:03:26.000 So anyway, it's a good jam.
00:03:30.000 Good classic rock kind of a jam.
00:03:33.000 It reminds me of Dream Machine, by the way, who were punished for saying, because there's an immigrant in the band and she said, I know I'm an immigrant, but I'm glad they're rounding up illegal immigrants because a lot of them are criminals.
00:03:45.000 Band ruined.
00:03:47.000 Band.
00:03:47.000 They had to move from Austin and ironically go back to where she came from.
00:03:54.000 But do you have that email with all the, there's the, so this is what happened.
00:03:59.000 So I heard that song and I said, I tweeted out, oh, proud of your boy.
00:04:03.000 That's a cool song.
00:04:05.000 The reaction to that was, they're making fun of you, you fool, because his albums are very satirical and tongue-in-cheek.
00:04:12.000 You know what my reaction was when I heard that he was making fun of me?
00:04:16.000 I went and I sent out a gift to some friends of a little kid going, I didn't want him punished for making fun of me.
00:04:25.000 I didn't want his song banned.
00:04:29.000 But because I put that out there, some people went, wait a minute, maybe he's not making fun of Gavin.
00:04:35.000 And so the radio station, KUTX, the same station where the DJs were telling me that I'm being made fun of, they thought, wait a minute, maybe he's not, and they banned the song.
00:04:46.000 So it's number six on BTR Today, which is a popular site.
00:04:50.000 But they've become petrified.
00:04:53.000 Let's look at some of these messages.
00:04:55.000 Apologies for the clumsiness.
00:04:58.000 We're just trying to be fair and let the artist Ty Richards music speak for himself.
00:05:03.000 Why?
00:05:04.000 Why are you trying to do that?
00:05:07.000 Why is it relevant?
00:05:08.000 Remember, Ezra Levant was in trouble for showing the Muhammad cartoons?
00:05:13.000 And it's when I learned about Ezra Levant, this was probably 10 years ago.
00:05:16.000 And the government official from the Canadian Human Rights Council said, what was your intent when you printed those Muhammad cartoons?
00:05:25.000 And he said, if you were a friend or we were in a bar and I saw you as cordial, I would probably tell you.
00:05:31.000 But you're from the government and it's none of your business what my intent was.
00:05:36.000 Intent.
00:05:36.000 It's the whole thing with hate crimes too.
00:05:39.000 Like if you're beating up someone and then we find out you're homophobic, it changes it.
00:05:42.000 No.
00:05:43.000 If you committed assault, you committed assault.
00:05:45.000 I don't want to get in your head.
00:05:47.000 I don't like all this invasive politics.
00:05:50.000 It's none of anyone's business.
00:05:52.000 It's like when David Cross said Mitt Romney was running and he goes, Mitt Romney doesn't care about you.
00:05:58.000 Good.
00:05:58.000 I don't want a politician that cares about me.
00:06:01.000 I don't want him to know where I live.
00:06:02.000 I don't want anyone in here.
00:06:04.000 It's none of your business.
00:06:05.000 And by the way, it's bad for you to get into the artist's head.
00:06:09.000 You're ruining it.
00:06:11.000 What if you found out that Led Zeppelin, everyone in Led Zeppelin had the stupidest politics ever, or they all thought the age of consent should be lowered to 12?
00:06:20.000 Wouldn't that ruin Led Zeppelin for you?
00:06:23.000 Why do you always want to ruin art for yourself?
00:06:26.000 And also, KUTX, if that's what you're called.
00:06:30.000 If you keep demanding that artists comply with a leftist narrative, you're eventually going to have Soviet radio, propaganda radio.
00:06:38.000 No one likes to listen to that.
00:06:40.000 America was founded on a diversity of opinion.
00:06:45.000 The British government made the mistake of encouraging a free press up and down the East Coast and having all these dissident, is that the word, to have all this dissent within the newspapers to have attrition, to have, not attrition, to have conflict.
00:07:02.000 And so all these papers were far right, far left, center of the road, they're all over the place.
00:07:07.000 And this stimulated debate.
00:07:08.000 And the next thing you know, people are going to the tavern to learn how to use guns, which the government encouraged.
00:07:13.000 And eventually, much to Britain's chagrin, these people with differing opinions said, let's just start a new, let's invent a new country that's not British where we can take over and have whatever we want in here and don't own anyone, don't owe anyone anything.
00:07:29.000 Did your watch just beep?
00:07:32.000 I think so.
00:07:33.000 Why would you, as an engineer on a show, have a beeping watch?
00:07:39.000 I actually don't know how to turn it off.
00:07:41.000 I've tried.
00:07:42.000 Well, throw it in the garbage, moron.
00:07:45.000 No, unbelievable.
00:07:48.000 Sorry.
00:07:49.000 Also, that gigantic thing of water is idiotic.
00:07:52.000 New York has the champagne of waters.
00:07:56.000 We're not in Mexico, you boob.
00:07:58.000 I hit it.
00:07:59.000 It's off-camera.
00:08:00.000 It's so off-camera.
00:08:01.000 I don't care.
00:08:02.000 Why did you do that?
00:08:04.000 You're such a dupe.
00:08:05.000 And that's just more plastic now for the landfills, Mr. Environmentalists.
00:08:11.000 I need water pure.
00:08:12.000 You know where Poland Spring gets their water from?
00:08:14.000 No.
00:08:14.000 The top!
00:08:16.000 Do they really?
00:08:17.000 Yes!
00:08:20.000 Sorry.
00:08:22.000 Anyway, show me that email that they sent to Ty Richards demanding he.
00:08:28.000 Can you read that out?
00:08:30.000 Yes.
00:08:31.000 As you know, we've been spinning Western chauvinists for some time now, and it's been generating a lot of conversation amongst our listeners.
00:08:38.000 Namely, a short Is It Satire or Is It Game, or Isn't It Game, a verbal taste?
00:08:44.000 That's what art is, by the way.
00:08:46.000 That game.
00:08:47.000 Although KUTX has directly received some blowback from folks who don't perceive the lyrics as satirical, we've been rolling with it.
00:08:53.000 But yesterday's sharing of the song via the video recorded in our studio by Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes has generated even more attention.
00:09:02.000 While we like to encourage our listeners to think for themselves this is a case that puts KUTX in a difficult position, would you...
00:09:11.000 Yeah.
00:09:12.000 Mathematics.
00:09:15.000 Read the rest of it as Tony Soprano, please.
00:09:19.000 Would you be willing to make a statement about the song, your intentions lyrically, responses you've received, etc., that we can share with our audience?
00:09:28.000 Fly at kutx.org to clarify once and for all whether or not a Western chauvinist is intended as a mockery or celebration of celebration of Proud Boy culture.
00:09:42.000 Looking forward to hearing your side.
00:09:44.000 Thanks.
00:09:48.000 Projute.
00:09:49.000 What is Projute?
00:09:50.000 Is that like a weird meat?
00:09:52.000 I think it's, yeah, I think it's a form of mozzarelle.
00:09:56.000 Mozzarelle's cheese, dummy.
00:09:58.000 Oh, well then, yeah.
00:10:00.000 This is a little off topic, but were you not in a store in California recently where a vegetarian wanted to make sure that the juice that she had had no meat in it?
00:10:08.000 Yeah, it was a type of wine that this guy was telling her about.
00:10:11.000 And she was like, what's that made out of?
00:10:13.000 And he's like, white rice, but it's not sake.
00:10:16.000 And she's like, oh, good.
00:10:17.000 Well, then I could eat it because I can't eat things made of meat.
00:10:19.000 I could eat things made of rice, though.
00:10:21.000 So there's a woman out there thinking about it.
00:10:23.000 Who wants some wiener juice?
00:10:25.000 Who wants some goat alcohol?
00:10:28.000 In the mornings, I like my coffee, black, and I'll just sprinkle in some beef.
00:10:33.000 Just some beef shavings.
00:10:35.000 She wants ferment to get that extra protein.
00:10:38.000 She thinks, yeah, that.
00:10:40.000 By the way, you get one of these mugs when you subscribe to Get Off My Line.
00:10:46.000 And we've got to fix this camera angle because it's so weird looking at the back of your head.
00:10:49.000 People don't even know.
00:10:50.000 I was thinking about that.
00:10:51.000 Like, maybe if I could do this.
00:10:52.000 Turn around and face the camera just so people can see.
00:10:56.000 What is with that cheap Walmart Aztec tap-out shirt you have on?
00:11:03.000 You look like an immigrant.
00:11:05.000 I use this.
00:11:05.000 I know, I don't like it.
00:11:06.000 I used this for a bit yesterday to look like a modern rock guy.
00:11:10.000 Oh, you look like a Polak who was the king back in Weskegivix.
00:11:17.000 But now that you're in Greenpoint, you're just a lowly immigrant.
00:11:20.000 This is how I pick up chicks at clubs.
00:11:24.000 That's the funny thing about immigrants.
00:11:25.000 You should know that when you see them and you go, God, that guy looks corny.
00:11:28.000 He's the king back in El Salvador.
00:11:31.000 He's like the guy who lives in New York City.
00:11:34.000 But he's not cool here.
00:11:36.000 Anyway, and I'm an immigrant too.
00:11:38.000 So don't get your panties in a bunch about me discussing immigrants in a negative way.
00:11:43.000 I'm happy to discuss how corny we are.
00:11:45.000 In fact, my family makes fun of the way I say pasta and serviette and Chesterfield.
00:11:52.000 And what do you guys call pencil crayons?
00:11:55.000 Colored pencils.
00:11:56.000 Anyway, let's talk to Ty Richards, the guy behind that song, and see what he's going through.
00:12:03.000 Ty, are you there, sir?
00:12:04.000 Yeah, I'm here.
00:12:06.000 What's up?
00:12:07.000 So I'm doing well.
00:12:09.000 We just played your song, Western Chauvinist, to introduce the show.
00:12:13.000 And my understanding is that it's been banned from your local radio station in Austin.
00:12:19.000 Yeah, I'm still kind of in shock with all this.
00:12:22.000 It kind of came on fast.
00:12:23.000 And so I really don't know what to think about all of it other than it just feels icky.
00:12:28.000 It feels wrong.
00:12:29.000 Yeah, it does feel unusual.
00:12:31.000 Well, your album's called Red Pill, and you talk about satirical tones throughout.
00:12:38.000 And I don't want you to reveal whether you were being ironic with this song or not.
00:12:42.000 Please don't say so, because it's nobody's business.
00:12:45.000 That's the whole thing, though, is the whole song is meant to be interpreted anyway.
00:12:51.000 If you listen to all my songs, a lot of my songs, like I have a song called Naked Girls, and it's about naked girls, and it's and like nobody knows that I have five daughters.
00:13:01.000 You know what I mean?
00:13:02.000 I have fun sending people in different directions on stuff, and that's what freaking art is, you know?
00:13:09.000 It's supposed to be interpreted infinite number of ways, you know.
00:13:12.000 Well, you think of Who Screwed Who, and you have Bob Mold, who's gay, writing all these love songs and Don't Want to Know If You Are Lonely.
00:13:21.000 Do we have to now, now that we know Bob Mold is gay, do we have to make Don't Want to Know If You Are Lonely about two men in love with each other?
00:13:29.000 Or are we allowed to imagine it about our ex-girlfriends or our love life?
00:13:36.000 Yeah.
00:13:36.000 And yeah, man, it's like I love the childish Gambino song.
00:13:40.000 And I love that it has, that everybody interpreted so many different ways.
00:13:43.000 This is America, you know?
00:13:45.000 And that's what makes art awesome.
00:13:47.000 If you knew the intent of every single song, it defeats the purpose of art.
00:13:52.000 And to me, my music legitimately doesn't have an intent.
00:13:56.000 I record and I write all at the same time.
00:13:58.000 I don't pre-write songs and go into the studio and record the songs that I thought of.
00:14:02.000 I just record stuff, you know?
00:14:05.000 Well, the other angle, too, is what, like, your song, even if you were not being satirical and it's meant to be taken literally, there's nothing offensive in it.
00:14:15.000 You know, I got my guns.
00:14:17.000 I got my housewife.
00:14:18.000 I'm proud.
00:14:18.000 I'm a proud boy, baby, and I'm happy in the USA.
00:14:20.000 There's nothing offensive.
00:14:21.000 But say hypothetically there was.
00:14:24.000 What's the matter with that?
00:14:25.000 We got Johnny Cash talking about I shot a man just to watch him die.
00:14:28.000 That's what you do with songs.
00:14:30.000 You have bad guys.
00:14:31.000 That's the whole record.
00:14:32.000 The whole record is called Welcome to Flat Earth.
00:14:35.000 I was exploring dissonant sounds and dissonant opinions.
00:14:39.000 And the whole record is filled with it.
00:14:40.000 There's stuff about lizard people, there's stuff about Flat Earth.
00:14:43.000 I had just heard about, like, Proud Boys was like a thing in the news that I just heard about.
00:14:48.000 And I saw the tenets in there, and I was like, whoa, that'd be really funny to put these opinions in a song and see how people react to it.
00:14:56.000 Because it's funny to me, because I knew it would be offensive, but I also knew that line by line, there isn't anything actually offensive in it.
00:15:04.000 And so, and even just, I've got songs about lizard people and flat earth and getting red-pilled.
00:15:11.000 They're all culturally relevant things that people are talking about.
00:15:14.000 I'm trying to just like capitalize on stuff that I thought was hilarious.
00:15:21.000 Isn't it strange?
00:15:22.000 Isn't it strange that someone can watch Dexter and they can watch whatever his name is, Anthony Michael Hall, sever someone's head and put them in a bag, and that's someone you can identify with.
00:15:32.000 Or Tony Soprano, who murders people all the time.
00:15:36.000 In a very difficult situation.
00:15:39.000 We can watch him.
00:15:42.000 You're platforming mob people.
00:15:44.000 You're platforming serial killers.
00:15:46.000 Exactly.
00:15:46.000 Oh, my God.
00:15:47.000 Yes, they are platforming mobsters and serial killers, and we're adult enough to have perspective with that.
00:15:53.000 We're allowed to have different.
00:15:56.000 I remember in the 80s, there was a punk band called The Forgotten Rebels here in Canada, up in Canada, I should say now.
00:16:02.000 And they had a song called Bomb the Boats, Feed the Fish about killing immigrants.
00:16:06.000 And he later explained that it was a conversation he overheard.
00:16:09.000 But back when the song came out, we were obviously against murdering refugees, but we enjoyed the song because it was just a crazy thing.
00:16:17.000 It was just a crazy expression that we enjoyed because it was weird.
00:16:21.000 Yeah.
00:16:22.000 Also, to me, I'm a huge album fan.
00:16:27.000 To me, if you listen to Led Zeppelin, their music is intended to be listened to on an album.
00:16:32.000 This song is intended to be listened to on an album.
00:16:34.000 So everybody, even they're taking lyrics out of context and assigning their own meaning to them, which that's fine, cool.
00:16:40.000 But they're also taking the whole song, the song out of the context with the rest of the record, too.
00:16:45.000 The whole record is intended to be, I'm exploring dissonant sounds and dissonant opinions that are dissonant with culture.
00:16:52.000 Even the sounds, like the sounds like rub your ears the wrong way on purpose.
00:16:56.000 That's the whole like freaking point of the album.
00:17:01.000 And if people want to interpret whatever they want, I don't care.
00:17:05.000 That's the point.
00:17:06.000 I want people to interpret whatever they want.
00:17:08.000 Well, I just find it fascinating that that one thing, being too patriotic, might lead to white supremacy.
00:17:17.000 And then that should be banned just in case.
00:17:20.000 They're so scared of someone who's not ashamed of themselves that even the indication that someone might not be kidding is a tornado.
00:17:29.000 Well, that's how Austin is now because if you can't even say anything for free speech or for America without being a Trumper.
00:17:37.000 And dude, I'm not now, but I was a hardcore socialist in college.
00:17:44.000 I'm more like, if I could give myself any political persuasion now, it'd be Frank Zappaist.
00:17:51.000 I basically have the politics of Frank Zappa.
00:17:53.000 I'm just like, let me make my freaking art and do what I want to do.
00:17:58.000 No, I think Frank Zappa, George Carlin, all those guys would be considered radical white supremacists today.
00:18:06.000 Do you know the band Dream Machine?
00:18:07.000 Yeah.
00:18:08.000 So they were in an interview.
00:18:10.000 We've had them on the show.
00:18:11.000 And they said, one of the, the girl in the band's an immigrant, and she said, I'm glad Trump is rounding up MS-13 dudes.
00:18:17.000 You should round up illegals.
00:18:19.000 Some of them are serious criminals.
00:18:21.000 Career over.
00:18:23.000 Ruined.
00:18:24.000 They've had to leave Austin, I believe.
00:18:26.000 They went to Europe to live for a while.
00:18:28.000 I think they're in Kansas now.
00:18:30.000 Yeah.
00:18:31.000 Well, just, I mean, that's the thing is the whole like, the thing that I'm now being accused of, I've already been called a white supremacist a few times.
00:18:40.000 I've been, you know, the thing that I'm being accused of of being like fascist and all that stuff.
00:18:45.000 The thing that, I'm starting to think that people that are calling people that are actually that.
00:18:51.000 Yeah.
00:18:52.000 They are what they are calling people.
00:18:54.000 Because the email that I got from the station was, I didn't, I was shocked by it.
00:19:00.000 And I was, I don't know.
00:19:02.000 I'm, I used to be in that world so much.
00:19:05.000 So I, my initial reaction was, oh, oh, crap, I'm in trouble.
00:19:10.000 You know, I need to give them a response.
00:19:12.000 But now, now I'm, the more I'm thinking on it, I'm like, dude, I don't owe them a response.
00:19:15.000 This is ridiculous for them to like ask for the intention of my song and basically also pick a political side too, which I don't really belong on it.
00:19:26.000 I don't care about politics.
00:19:27.000 You know, I care about culture and I care about, you know, that's, it's not.
00:19:32.000 I'm not here to be in politics.
00:19:33.000 I'm here to make freaking music.
00:19:34.000 Well, they're asking you to ruin your art.
00:19:36.000 They're saying, please take all the ambiguity out of this and make it part of our revolution, or we won't give it a platform.
00:19:44.000 It was a super Soviet-style email to me where I'm like, oh, crap, they're asking me to pick a political side to save their own ass.
00:19:52.000 And so I'm not going to do that, man.
00:19:57.000 The song and the whole record is on 90 different college stations right now.
00:20:02.000 I was artist of the month.
00:20:04.000 It's still really much during South Buy last year.
00:20:08.000 So that's like the holy grail thing to get in Austin.
00:20:10.000 Everybody knows me in Austin.
00:20:12.000 Anybody who calls me a white supremacist or whatever, they know me and they know that I'm not that.
00:20:17.000 So it's just stupid, man.
00:20:22.000 I don't think these people understand, too, that they're next.
00:20:26.000 When you set up a scenario, a fascist scenario where I can't help but think, by the way, that me tweeting that song was a reason they removed it.
00:20:37.000 That was in the email.
00:20:38.000 If you look at the email they sent, they said, some people have been complaining for a while.
00:20:42.000 We thought nothing of it.
00:20:42.000 But now that Gavin McInnis retweeted it, it's a big deal.
00:20:47.000 And I'm just like, are you going to let like, from what I know, from who I've talked to, they've got like a few emails and a few calls.
00:20:56.000 They're going to let a few emails and a few calls take the song down.
00:21:00.000 And so to me, it's like it is mob rule right now in Austin.
00:21:03.000 And I didn't think it was affecting radio or college, but it's like there's censorship on YouTube.
00:21:09.000 There's censorship all over.
00:21:10.000 But apparently there's censorship all over college radio now, too.
00:21:14.000 It's crippling cowardice.
00:21:15.000 And once they establish this world that if someone tweets your song and you don't like that person's politics, then that artist has to be punished.
00:21:24.000 Once you start making those parameters, you're going to suffer.
00:21:27.000 Like they get info wars off of Apple and Facebook and everything.
00:21:30.000 Okay.
00:21:30.000 Now anyone, I guarantee you, Black Lives Matter is going to be threatened.
00:21:34.000 Far left sites are going to be threatened.
00:21:37.000 You've created this paradigm where there's punishment for association and you'll be the first to go.
00:21:43.000 Not you, but them.
00:21:44.000 Yeah.
00:21:44.000 My thing is like, why can't people just get accused of being an ass?
00:21:48.000 I mean, I think that's so much, that's so much more, like, if you're going to broadly accuse people of stuff, that's the more accurate thing to say.
00:21:55.000 It's like, if you want to say that I'm an ass or say that whatever, just jumping straight to Nazi is, that's like a, that's, that's a form of Holocaust denial.
00:22:06.000 It really is.
00:22:07.000 Well, it's obviously trivializing six million deaths.
00:22:10.000 It's insane.
00:22:12.000 Well, Ty, we're out of time.
00:22:13.000 We wish you nothing but the best on this ridiculous fight.
00:22:17.000 And the song's already got a life of its own.
00:22:20.000 So they want to kill art, but I don't think they can.
00:22:22.000 The song was intended to create a, the whole record is intended to get people talking about shit.
00:22:27.000 And sorry, I just said that, but you got to edit that.
00:22:30.000 But, you know, it is starting a conversation, but they want to silence the conversation.
00:22:35.000 So that's not where I stand.
00:22:38.000 Well, they're in the communication business, so they're playing a dangerous game.
00:22:43.000 Yep.
00:22:44.000 All right, man.
00:22:44.000 Thanks for coming on the show.
00:22:45.000 I like you more than a friend.
00:22:47.000 Yeah.
00:22:47.000 Thanks, Kevin.
00:22:48.000 Appreciate it, man.
00:22:53.000 We have a lot to talk about today.
00:22:54.000 A lot's going on in the news.
00:22:56.000 But first and foremost, I've discovered a new hot chick that I'm very attracted to.
00:23:02.000 And if my wife were ever to die in a plane crash and this woman were to become deaf and blind, and I was volunteering at the Deaf and Blind Institute, and she had a bad lapse of judgment.
00:23:19.000 That's not a good picture of her.
00:23:20.000 Her name is Sonoya Mizuno.
00:23:23.000 I think she's she's like you.
00:23:24.000 I think she's Spanish and Italian.
00:23:26.000 I mean, Spanish and Asian.
00:23:27.000 Why?
00:23:28.000 Come on.
00:23:29.000 Yeah, I think she's your same DNA.
00:23:31.000 Latina and maybe you could invite me to the Latina Asian convention.
00:23:36.000 It's a closed circuit.
00:23:37.000 I'm not even allowed.
00:23:38.000 But anyway, there's a new show out on Netflix starring Justin Thoreau as a corrupt doctor who messes with people's minds via drugs.
00:23:46.000 And it stars Josh Rogan and Emma Stone.
00:23:48.000 And I think it's sort of like that movie with Jim Carrey.
00:23:54.000 What's that movie?
00:23:55.000 Number 23?
00:23:56.000 No, the one where he erases her from his brain.
00:23:58.000 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
00:23:59.000 Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
00:24:00.000 I think they're trying to separate these two, but in this crazy drug hallucination fantasy world, they keep meeting each other.
00:24:06.000 It's a romance.
00:24:08.000 But what's relevant to this is Sonia Mizzuno plays Justin Thoreau's side doctor, and she looks like a great side piece.
00:24:18.000 Josh Rogan's slimmed down, hasn't he?
00:24:22.000 Is he hot?
00:24:24.000 I know Justin Thoreau's hot.
00:24:26.000 By the way, can I just say something?
00:24:27.000 I know Justin Thoreau.
00:24:29.000 We're not friends anymore because of Trump, but I used to hang out with him.
00:24:31.000 And he would dress sexy in his own house.
00:24:34.000 It drove me nuts.
00:24:35.000 He'd have like white sweatpants on, no shirt on because he's built.
00:24:40.000 And then he'd have like a white Gucci baseball hat and an angle.
00:24:44.000 And I'm like, are you trying to seduce me?
00:24:46.000 Why are you so sexy in your own home?
00:24:49.000 I wasn't saying it like I was attracted, but I was saying, you look idiotic.
00:24:53.000 Take off your hat.
00:24:54.000 Yeah, I can make a case for the sweatpants, everything else, but the hat, who wears hats alone?
00:24:59.000 Who wears hat?
00:24:59.000 Like, you're wearing it on the show, which is slightly annoying, but it was on all-matching outfit in his home, which was also Jennifer Anison's home.
00:25:08.000 Dude, you're literally banging Jennifer Anison right now.
00:25:11.000 Stop being sexy.
00:25:12.000 Wear shorts.
00:25:14.000 Anyway, go back, go back.
00:25:16.000 They showed Sonia Mizuno.
00:25:17.000 Sonia?
00:25:18.000 Sonoya Mizzuno is my new favorite chick.
00:25:22.000 Move over, what's the chick who just OD'd?
00:25:26.000 Of the mind.
00:25:28.000 Demi Lovato.
00:25:29.000 Sorry, Demi Lovato.
00:25:30.000 You just got dumped.
00:25:32.000 You're out.
00:25:34.000 Out on your ass.
00:25:35.000 Pack your bags and go.
00:25:36.000 I got a new catch.
00:25:38.000 There she is.
00:25:40.000 And I love the 80s look.
00:25:43.000 You know, one of the hottest looks is Terry Gross in Oh God.
00:25:49.000 There she is.
00:25:50.000 There she is.
00:25:51.000 That's my new favorite look.
00:25:53.000 Bangs, big stupid 80s glasses.
00:25:56.000 And ethnically ambiguous brunettes.
00:25:59.000 That doesn't sound stupid to me.
00:26:01.000 Okay, people, let's begin.
00:26:03.000 Oh my god, that's the first time I heard her voice.
00:26:05.000 Her voice is hot.
00:26:07.000 Is she British?
00:26:09.000 Oh my god.
00:26:11.000 Anyone need any coconuts to get smashed?
00:26:15.000 I'm carrying a baseball bat as a third leg.
00:26:20.000 Wowie.
00:26:23.000 By the way, no thanks on Emma Stone.
00:26:25.000 She looks like a 12-year-old girl.
00:26:28.000 Not interested.
00:26:30.000 Not remotely interested.
00:26:33.000 I would literally need four beers to have sex with her.
00:26:38.000 I'm not lying.
00:26:40.000 And if you gave me zero beers, we would have the opposite of a coconut smasher.
00:26:44.000 There she is.
00:26:44.000 Go back.
00:26:46.000 That's my new fave.
00:26:48.000 And I want my fave to be your fave, by the way.
00:26:51.000 Sonoya Mizuno is officially your favorite new chick.
00:26:55.000 Okay?
00:26:56.000 She probably has zero boobs.
00:26:58.000 Find a better picture of her.
00:27:00.000 I don't like that one.
00:27:06.000 Oh, that's a good one.
00:27:08.000 What an insane looker she is.
00:27:12.000 Whoa.
00:27:14.000 Whoa.
00:27:14.000 If that was your girlfriend, you would spend days just going...
00:27:24.000 Let's get to the news.
00:27:27.000 I've been talking a lot on these past two shows.
00:27:30.000 We get really blabby, and then next thing you know, the show's over.
00:27:35.000 I've noticed this.
00:27:37.000 Let's just focus on the craziest thing I think I've seen in a long ass time.
00:27:40.000 We'll get to Alex Jones being banned from everything in a second.
00:27:43.000 But Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk, who are benign politically.
00:27:50.000 I don't want to insult them, but what I'm trying to convey is their politics are not radical.
00:27:57.000 Charlie Kirk just recites stats.
00:28:00.000 By the way, I love Kirk and Candace.
00:28:01.000 Don't get me wrong.
00:28:02.000 I'm not saying that they are useless.
00:28:04.000 What I'm saying is they're not threatening.
00:28:07.000 What Charlie Kirk does is he'll say like, there was 7,000 illegals arrested last year, 6,000 for drug trafficking, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:28:15.000 Just stuff like that.
00:28:16.000 And all Candace Owens says is you don't have to be liberal if you're black.
00:28:22.000 That's it.
00:28:23.000 Okay, so one guy just barfs out data and stop, stop, don't give it away yet.
00:28:29.000 And the other woman simply says that I was left wing and I'm right wing now because I think the left is bad for blacks.
00:28:37.000 And she encourages other black people to follow in her footsteps and not force them, but say it's an option.
00:28:45.000 She's pro-choice in that sense.
00:28:47.000 Okay?
00:28:48.000 I thought you guys loved choice, but they don't.
00:28:51.000 So she goes to a restaurant, has some breakfast.
00:28:53.000 There's some Antifa people there.
00:28:55.000 They get on the horn and they're so good with their $500 iPhones, these communists who hate capitalism, that they swoop in and get downright vicious.
00:29:03.000 And by the way, Charlie Kirk doesn't strike me as a brawler.
00:29:06.000 He also seems to be lacking some chivalry when it comes to Candace.
00:29:11.000 If I was with Candace at that thing, I'd make sure she was behind me at all times, ready for a fight.
00:29:16.000 But he lets her wander off, which is, I can tell he's not a brawler.
00:29:20.000 So I think the far left, the alt left, can sniff out women, old people, non-brawlers.
00:29:26.000 And then that's when they really ramp it up because they know they're not going to get punched.
00:29:29.000 If this ever happens to me, and God forbid I'm with my kids, I am going to jail.
00:29:36.000 I promise you that.
00:29:38.000 Oh, Lord, am I going to jail?
00:29:40.000 And it will not be for one assault.
00:29:42.000 It will be for several assaults.
00:29:44.000 But check out this egregious behavior.
00:29:48.000 If you happen to be conservative, they're not Nazis.
00:29:51.000 They're soft fascists.
00:29:53.000 They're just soft fascists.
00:29:54.000 They're not Nazis.
00:29:56.000 He's doing black members.
00:29:57.000 Have a wonderful day.
00:29:58.000 They're soft fascists.
00:30:00.000 That's a thing.
00:30:02.000 Isn't that okay to be?
00:30:06.000 What's the matter with a soft-facist?
00:30:08.000 One, two, three!
00:30:09.000 F*** the food on Z!
00:30:11.000 Four, five, six!
00:30:12.000 F*** the food on Z!
00:30:14.000 Have the bourgeoisie in France in 1930?
00:30:21.000 They're all the bourgeoisie, by the way.
00:30:25.000 The bourgeoisie are the middle class.
00:30:27.000 You are all middle class.
00:30:29.000 That's what your phone chucking says?
00:30:30.000 Big government sucks?
00:30:32.000 Wait, what sucks about big government?
00:30:34.000 Let's talk about that one.
00:30:35.000 What sucks about big government?
00:30:37.000 Isn't the fact that y'all are part of big government?
00:30:39.000 No.
00:30:40.000 No.
00:30:42.000 Did you hear that?
00:30:43.000 Just pause it.
00:30:44.000 So Candace goes, I hate, I'm against big government.
00:30:48.000 And then the person on the microphone on the bullhorn goes, what's the matter with big government?
00:30:53.000 Is it that part of big government is, and then can't think of anything.
00:30:57.000 And then they're screaming at this black woman, F white supremacy.
00:31:02.000 And then this dude, Jesse Ben, tweets out, because I tweeted, I said, black woman, black conservative, goes for breakfast and is immediately attacked by a mob of white people screaming F white supremacy at her.
00:31:15.000 And Jesse Benn, who you can just tell is short by his tweets, stop doing that.
00:31:21.000 Don't show something for two seconds.
00:31:23.000 It looks like a mistake, which I guess it was.
00:31:25.000 He says, I love how these alt-right dip-ish don't recognize that they were screaming at Charlie Kirk.
00:31:32.000 No, they were not screaming at Charlie Kirk.
00:31:34.000 They were screaming at Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens.
00:31:37.000 They put a bullhorn in her face until she had to grab it and push it out of her face because it was assault.
00:31:43.000 Isn't it strange, though, these small little men like Jesse Ben who hate white people?
00:31:50.000 Have you noticed this trend?
00:31:52.000 It's liberals, beta male liberals who tend to be short.
00:31:56.000 They're often Jewish, too.
00:31:57.000 I think it might be because their grandfathers had justified PTSD from World War II and they feel bad that they didn't have that experience.
00:32:05.000 So they want to fight the good fight.
00:32:08.000 Well, there's no Nazis.
00:32:08.000 So they fight Nazis.
00:32:09.000 Okay, well, that guy's a Nazi.
00:32:11.000 No, he's not.
00:32:11.000 Yes, he is.
00:32:12.000 Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
00:32:14.000 And so they start hating white males.
00:32:17.000 Look at these tweets.
00:32:18.000 This is Joe Bernstein.
00:32:19.000 I think he's the guy that got Sam Hyde booted from Adult Swim.
00:32:22.000 By the way, Sam Hyde was booted from Adult Swim based on the assumption, Joe Bernstein's assumption, That he was hiding swastikas in the show, hiding alt-right messages.
00:32:34.000 And so he was booted, no evidence.
00:32:36.000 Yet, my old buddy Derek Beckles, my best friend for 10 years, is black, and he's doing way more extreme stuff.
00:32:44.000 And that is racist because it's the bigotry of low expectations.
00:32:47.000 You're like, well, blacks can do it because they're inferior.
00:32:49.000 So we give them a break.
00:32:51.000 Derek Beckles is black.
00:32:54.000 He's dressed up in whiteface.
00:32:56.000 That's crazy.
00:32:58.000 So yeah, kill a straight white male.
00:33:00.000 Look, guys, show another one here.
00:33:03.000 Heitzman, I don't know.
00:33:05.000 I hate white people.
00:33:09.000 I hate whites.
00:33:11.000 And then what's the last one?
00:33:12.000 Andy Cohen?
00:33:15.000 Andy Cohen said, it's a picture of him.
00:33:18.000 Have you got that?
00:33:19.000 You don't seem to have it.
00:33:20.000 Anyway, Andy Cohen says, I want to kill all white people.
00:33:24.000 Guys, Jewish people, you're white.
00:33:27.000 You're one of us.
00:33:29.000 Judeo-Christianity, very, very similar.
00:33:32.000 Our only difference is Jesus.
00:33:34.000 And that's irrelevant.
00:33:36.000 Okay?
00:33:37.000 We both worship the same God.
00:33:39.000 We both have the same politics.
00:33:41.000 Every single one.
00:33:42.000 Yeah, yes, I'm a racist.
00:33:43.000 I hate white people.
00:33:44.000 Dude, if we were at Ferguson and we were being chased by a black mob, do you think that you could yell out, I'm Jewish?
00:33:50.000 And they'll go, oh, sorry, and go and chase me?
00:33:52.000 We're both dead.
00:33:54.000 In fact, I've seen footage of an old Jewish guy saying, guys, stop.
00:33:58.000 We need to calm down.
00:33:59.000 When they were vandalizing banks or something, and they turn on him and he goes, I'm Jewish.
00:34:04.000 And they, what?
00:34:05.000 They just keep pounding him.
00:34:08.000 Jews and white people are the same.
00:34:12.000 There are no differences.
00:34:14.000 We both, in fact, the only difference might be that Jews are more successful than Scots and Irish.
00:34:21.000 So you're not allowed to say you hate white people.
00:34:23.000 Sorry.
00:34:24.000 Well, they have that Tim White.
00:34:25.000 Tim Weiss, he had a big quote where he said, white people are going extinct.
00:34:31.000 And I think that's a great thing because unlike the dodo bird or some other valuable animals, you don't deserve to be.
00:34:39.000 And you're like, you're going down with me, buddy.
00:34:43.000 We're the same.
00:34:44.000 Sorry, guys.
00:34:46.000 I know it's cool to hate white people, but that's you.
00:34:50.000 Anyway, that is insane what happened with Candace Owen.
00:34:56.000 And it's part and parcel of a crazy day yesterday.
00:35:00.000 So not only does Candace get screamed at, harassed, they pour water on him and stuff.
00:35:04.000 None of it, I think, is illegal.
00:35:06.000 But at the same time, Alex Jones will be getting on the show.
00:35:11.000 I don't know if we'll get Candace on the show.
00:35:13.000 I don't think Charlie Kirk allows her to speak to me anymore because I'm too right-wing.
00:35:19.000 But we'll definitely have Alex Jones on the show.
00:35:21.000 I've got it scheduled tomorrow to talk about the fact that he was de-platformed from Spotify, Apple, meaning iTunes, and Facebook.
00:35:32.000 Remember CNN kept bitching about how Alex Jones shouldn't be on Facebook?
00:35:38.000 They have way more fake news stories than him.
00:35:41.000 In fact, the thing people don't get about Alex Jones is he's right.
00:35:45.000 He's just hyperbolic.
00:35:46.000 The one mistake he made, and I don't know the exact story here, was that he gave a platform to someone.
00:35:52.000 He interviewed someone who denied Sandy Hook.
00:35:54.000 So he was open to the possibility that Sandy Hook was fake.
00:35:58.000 Obviously, that's a big blunder.
00:35:59.000 That's insane.
00:36:00.000 Sandy Hook happened.
00:36:03.000 But the New York Times said that there was weapons of mass destruction when there wasn't, and that led to millions of deaths and two countries irrevocably destroyed.
00:36:14.000 We've got 60 Minutes CBS talking about fake documents with George Bush that he didn't serve in the Army, which was untrue, but they put it on 60 Minutes.
00:36:24.000 We've got this whole Russia collusion lie going on in the media.
00:36:28.000 The mainstream media makes way more mistakes than Alex.
00:36:31.000 Alex has like one.
00:36:33.000 But what about when he said the frogs are gay?
00:36:37.000 It was an effusive way to describe a real thing.
00:36:40.000 Women in birth control pills are releasing a lot of estrogen into the water supply.
00:36:45.000 Amphibians with their tympanic membranes are very sensitive to water.
00:36:50.000 If you see a lot of salamanders by your house, you probably have a great water supply.
00:36:54.000 If you see a lot of frogs, that means you have a good water system in your area.
00:36:57.000 You have healthy water.
00:36:59.000 They die when the water is slightly bad.
00:37:01.000 So they're very sensitive, and amphibians are able to change their gender at an early stage.
00:37:06.000 So when there's this influx of estrogen in the water, they tend to go female.
00:37:11.000 That's a very long way of explaining a serious pollution problem.
00:37:15.000 Alex Jones jumps to, they're making the frogs gay.
00:37:18.000 You can go look it up if you don't believe them.
00:37:22.000 But he's banned.
00:37:23.000 He is banned.
00:37:24.000 He's also, so I think Twitter's the only thing left.
00:37:28.000 But isn't it funny how that means you have to use his app and pay to see him?
00:37:32.000 So it's just going to be a huge surge.
00:37:34.000 And we know what's really going on here, by the way.
00:37:37.000 Tommy Robinson also banned from Instagram.
00:37:39.000 It's weird how we were making jokes about his Instagram picture yesterday, and then he was banned immediately after.
00:37:46.000 And Ty Richards is banned after I tweet out his song.
00:37:48.000 I'm like King Midas, but censorship.
00:37:52.000 The real message is we think social media got Trump elected because we control everything else.
00:37:59.000 It's the one thing we can't control.
00:38:01.000 So we need to control social media before the election.
00:38:06.000 So the government and big tech are colluding to interfere with the election way more than the Russians even allegedly have.
00:38:16.000 Paul Joseph Watson had a good video about this where he showed people in the government talking about shutting down Infowars.
00:38:25.000 Have you got any of that?
00:38:26.000 Ms. Downs, does Google think that this is a problem, and what is the solution that you're coming up with to address it?
00:38:34.000 Thank you for the question.
00:38:35.000 So as you noted, when Alex Jones posted the video you described saying that the survivors of the Parkland massacre were crisis actors, that violated our harassment policy.
00:38:46.000 We have a specific policy that says if you say a well-documented violent attack didn't happen and you use the name or image of survivors or victims of that attack, that is a malicious attack and it violates our policy.
00:38:58.000 In terms of conspiracy theory content generally, our goal is to promote authoritative content to our users.
00:39:03.000 So we have two principles that guide the way here.
00:39:06.000 That's the first one is we want to provide users with authoritative, trustworthy information.
00:39:10.000 I'm sorry to cut you off.
00:39:11.000 I only have a minute and a half, and I don't really need to hear what you're trying to provide.
00:39:15.000 I want to know how you're dealing with all these conspiracy theorists.
00:39:20.000 So the first way is by demoting low-quality content.
00:39:23.000 Conspiracy theories are allowed, okay?
00:39:27.000 Many of them turn out to be true.
00:39:29.000 It's called research.
00:39:31.000 It's called free speech.
00:39:33.000 How do you think you get to the truth?
00:39:35.000 And have you noticed that they just assume things are a conspiracy theory without any evidence?
00:39:40.000 Like, prove to me that there isn't a pedophilia problem in Hollywood.
00:39:44.000 Prove to me that a lot of these young child actors aren't getting diddled.
00:39:47.000 I'd love to know.
00:39:48.000 I know that casting couch is a thing.
00:39:50.000 I know you've got a real problem in the Me Too movement.
00:39:53.000 I know you have corruption and sexual depravity all over Tinseltown.
00:39:58.000 So I'm allowed to discuss it.
00:40:01.000 I want to discuss it.
00:40:02.000 Sunlight is the best disinfectant, and that includes errors.
00:40:07.000 You're allowed to be wrong.
00:40:09.000 I've said this a million times.
00:40:10.000 We are at war with wondering.
00:40:14.000 You're not allowed to wonder anymore.
00:40:15.000 Like Larry Summers at Harvard, he said, is it possible that women don't have a predilection for math?
00:40:19.000 It's just genetic?
00:40:21.000 Fired.
00:40:22.000 Clivin Bundy sees this woman on the porch in Nevada with her baby daddy in jail and seven kids on welfare.
00:40:31.000 And he goes, sometimes I wonder if they weren't better off in slavery.
00:40:34.000 By the way, he's wrong.
00:40:35.000 You're never better off as a slave.
00:40:37.000 But he wondered it.
00:40:39.000 Persona non grata.
00:40:41.000 And then here's another important point I want to get across.
00:40:44.000 And this was in Lisa de Pasquale's book, actually.
00:40:48.000 People keep saying this is the free market.
00:40:50.000 And it's only bad if the government does it.
00:40:53.000 Well, first of all, we just showed you the government colluding with the free market.
00:40:57.000 But secondly, even if it was just the free market, the mob and the government are both capable of tyranny.
00:41:07.000 So yes, the First Amendment does exist.
00:41:10.000 It's part of the Constitution.
00:41:11.000 And if you have a case that goes right up to the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court will err on your freedom.
00:41:19.000 However, when we have this mob mentality and they decide people need to be fired, Ty Richards has to be shut down, when the mob gets you fired, makes you bankrupt, gets you divorced, threatens your kids, all that stuff, who cares if it's the government or the mob?
00:41:35.000 It has the same result.
00:41:37.000 If we lived in a culture where murder wasn't frowned upon, then the law against murder would just be some silly piece of paper.
00:41:46.000 You wouldn't get any cooperation with the police investigating.
00:41:50.000 Murders would go free.
00:41:51.000 There'd be no stigma.
00:41:53.000 And murder would be rampant.
00:41:54.000 So the fact that it's written down, free speech, murder's bad, that's just an irrelevant detail.
00:42:00.000 What matters is the culture.
00:42:02.000 And we are living in a tyrannical culture right now where the people are the Stalinists.
00:42:09.000 They want to shut down musicians based on the assumption that a tweet from a guy who likes the song might be bad.
00:42:17.000 Fred Perry had to defend themselves because they noticed Proud Boys were wearing their shirts.
00:42:26.000 That's the situation we're in now.
00:42:29.000 It's a very difficult situation.
00:42:31.000 That should be the name of this show.
00:42:33.000 Difficult situation.
00:42:35.000 I think we're running out of time, aren't we?
00:42:38.000 Okay, so let's end with something funny because I'm getting mad now.
00:42:45.000 Let's just look at that demon boner.
00:42:48.000 This is a man in Africa who has Satan, a demon inside of him.
00:42:54.000 And luckily, he met a priest who was able to usurp the evil from his body.
00:43:02.000 I guess fortunately, I'm not sure fortunately or unfortunately, the demon came out of his penis.
00:43:08.000 You are packing your loot and leave this body.
00:43:11.000 In the name of Jesus Christ.
00:43:16.000 Why do you have to undo your pants?
00:43:19.000 I think you should just wear like sweatpants or something and we'll take your word for it.
00:43:25.000 If I was the priest, I wouldn't say, all right, undo your pants and let's see it prod out of your eyes.
00:43:33.000 Do we have to show this?
00:43:36.000 I'll have to ask your TV if this is acceptable.
00:43:42.000 It's clothed?
00:43:43.000 Like a pig's hoof?
00:43:44.000 Yes, it's clothed.
00:43:46.000 Clothed.
00:43:47.000 But that's the same thing.
00:43:49.000 Let's censor that.
00:43:50.000 This is the hour for this boy.
00:43:54.000 Here's another important detail.
00:43:56.000 Isn't it cool how casually he can exercise demons?
00:44:00.000 Here in America, we have to say like, hell, Jesus, and have a big freak out and everything.
00:44:05.000 He just sits there on his microphone going, here we are.
00:44:08.000 What is that feature?
00:44:10.000 We are taking away his demons.
00:44:12.000 I am removing your demon.
00:44:13.000 You could just sit in a lawn chair and say, bring me all of your satanic peoples.
00:44:20.000 I will take away the demons from them through their penis.
00:44:23.000 You are losing your demons.
00:44:25.000 You too, also, the demons are coming out of your vagina.
00:44:29.000 You with the large breaths, the demons are coming out of your nipples.
00:44:33.000 I am removing them.
00:44:34.000 This one is especially bad.
00:44:36.000 So, demons, you go bye-bye.
00:44:38.000 Okay.
00:44:38.000 Demons?
00:44:40.000 Bye-bye, demons.
