00:01:50.000First of all, the story last night was that the memo has been leaked.
00:01:54.000Remember, release the memo, and you know it is replete with examples of the Dems issuing, spying, unmasking, all this stuff to prove the Russia myth.
00:02:06.000You know it's full of corruption involving that.
00:04:14.000Also in the news, I've been meaning to get to this forever.
00:04:17.000It's an old meme by now, and I'm sorry, but I have to, it's been on my list here, and I keep skipping over it because I'm too busy, but I need to cram in on it.
00:04:24.000I know I like to keep these intros like eight to ten minutes, and we're going to have plenty of porn at the end.
00:04:57.000They have a Potemkin village where you look at the facade and it says, every country is the best country in the world.
00:05:04.000So Trump rightfully calls Haiti a shithole and Conan goes there and sits in the water outside of the country and gets a beautiful mountain shot.
00:05:15.000Now you can see in the background, you can see those sort of sunbathing little things that keep the sun off.
00:05:21.000You can go in and out of to monitor your tan.
00:05:23.000This is a resort that's probably surrounded by razor wire.
00:05:27.000And Haiti was a beautiful country until some idiot decided that slaves shouldn't have a day off.
00:06:25.000It's the only place on earth where the before and after pictures of the earthquake looked Exactly the same.
00:06:31.000All right, also in the news, Tiffany Hadish.
00:06:36.000Now, there's a weird thing going on in this country where white liberals, especially and people in Hollywood, they fawn over black women to a fault.
00:08:49.000So she starts tweeting out crap that was as bad as, actually worse than that tweet, where she just say, go, America, yo, America slay all day, yeah.
00:11:44.000But I think this is what you get when you tell white people they suck over and over again and you get violent and you knock out old people.
00:11:51.000You start some pretty dangerous groups.
00:13:17.000Yeah, their contention is that we have been way too hard on this poor girl, and she deserves an apology.
00:13:25.000This happened with Jordan Peterson when he totally fried that woman.
00:13:29.000The takeaway was bullies are being mean to her.
00:13:32.000Meanwhile, by the way, Jordan Peterson got way more death threats and way more of a backlash than she got.
00:13:37.000But the takeaway, no matter how stupid these people behave, no matter how deplorable, bad word, no matter how immoral they are, we have to be on their side because they're right.
00:15:13.000Those guys getting wrestled for their naivete is funny, but sometimes it's downright dangerous to be naive.
00:15:19.000And I'm not just talking about Pippa Baka, the woman who hitchhiked to prove that Muslims aren't rapists and ended up dead in a field, or Timothy Treadwell, who wants to tell you that grizzly bears are cute as they eat his face off.
00:15:47.000There's not a disproportionate number of molesters in the crowd.
00:15:51.000They're just like a bunch of hippies fighting in the Vietnam War, right?
00:15:55.000She gets pulled into the crowd, violated in unspeakable ways.
00:15:59.000Then a year later, another blonde who's working for 60 Minutes International in Europe goes to one of these refugee summit things, and she gets attacked by, I think they were Somalian refugees.
00:16:10.000And she's got her blonde hair out, which by the way says to Muslims, hey, I'm a porn star.
00:16:22.000And these lefties, they just keep walking into the fire, no matter how many times we tell them that patterns exist and we're not all the same.
00:18:48.000When you're going somewhere like, say, downhill skiing and you want to have a bunch of beers on you, snow fishing, just going for a walk, you want to have, beer, going to the game.
00:19:00.000Well, I guess they won't let you go in with this coat, but there's a million times when you're outside and you think, wait a minute, I'm in a fridge.
00:20:13.000We're going to have to get into pornography very soon.
00:20:15.000I wanted to get serious for a second here.
00:20:18.000And I know Americans don't care about Canada and Britain.
00:20:20.000They are the canaries in the coal mine.
00:20:23.000I want you to care because this is where we're headed.
00:20:26.000And there's plenty of pockets of this.
00:20:28.000In Dearborn, Michigan, we have plenty of Muslims, plenty of terrorists, plenty of fake news endangering those who stand up to the Islamification of the West.
00:20:38.000Now, there's this reporter, I think she's at The Guardian or something, Lizzie Dearden.
00:20:42.000And remember that guy, Darren Osborne?
00:20:45.000So he was a lunatic who drove into some immigrants and killed them, a right-winger.
00:20:52.000And they're trying to make him part of Britain First.
00:20:54.000They're trying to say that he was working with Tommy Robinson and all these other right-wing groups, UKIP and everything.
00:22:27.000Later on, she clarifies, oh, I'm sorry.
00:22:31.000It turns out Darren was on an email list that he put himself on where Tommy would send out these random messages and Darren happened to receive them.
00:22:42.000The two messages from Mr. Emerson were automated emails sent out to a mailing list of subscribers to the Rebel and had been screen grabbed by Mr. Osborne.
00:22:55.000They're just going to remember that Tommy told him to kill.
00:22:58.000Also in the news, and I know we're over time here, so I'll hurry it up.
00:23:02.000In Canada, Ezra Levant was talking about, they had these terrorists who were captured, and I think they had bomb-making equipment or something.
00:23:11.000I don't know exactly what the charge was, but these guys are clearly terrorists, right?
00:23:24.000You'll have to scroll down because that's a sign-in thing.
00:23:25.000We're just doing an ad for a competitor here.
00:23:30.000They get hired by the government to form a committee to help de-radicalize Muslim youth.
00:23:40.000Can you imagine if a murderer who gets off, OJ Simpson, is now being hired as a consultant to calm down those accused of domestic abuse?
00:23:51.000That is exactly what is happening here.
00:23:54.000And what's insane about it is it goes right up to the top.
00:23:58.000Justin Trudeau has explicitly said that jihadists can be a benefit to the country when they come back home.
00:24:05.000He said, and I quote, someone who has engaged and turned away from that hateful ideology can be an extraordinary power, by the way, he doesn't even say extraordinarily, can be an extraordinary powerful voice in the community.
00:24:19.000So the Prime Minister of Canada loves jihadists and the government is hiring them to talk to youths, to talk to Muslim youths, and I assume discourage them from further attacks.
00:25:15.000And we'll have a porn star, Alana Love.
00:25:19.000She'll also be on the show to discuss this.
00:25:21.000And the general hypothesis here, and Gad adds to it sort of, is that it's a brutal business.
00:25:29.000These women get tossed away when they get too old.
00:25:32.000And they're not actually damaged goods.
00:25:35.000And it's not like they were molested or they do do a lot more drugs than the rest of us, but they're not all victims of sexual molestation.
00:25:42.000In fact, they are only molested as much as most women are, which I don't know what the exact number is, probably about 15%, I don't know.
00:25:50.000But depends on your definition of sexual assault that just keeps changing every year.
00:25:58.000I am convinced that these women Are 80 to 90% molested, raped as children.
00:26:05.000That's why they're able to lie underneath a stranger and be made love to.
00:26:10.000I mean, it's obviously a very intimate thing having sex.
00:26:13.000And if you can just shut off, you're either autistic or you're wasted out of your mind on drugs, catatonic, or you've developed over several molestations.
00:26:26.000Over several molestations, you've developed the ability to shut off.
00:26:31.000You know, I once dated a woman who had been molested as a child, and the only way that she could enjoy intercourse was for there to be no intimacy.
00:26:38.000Like it had to be very rough and no snuggling or anything, because anything that was intimate reminded her of the bad times.
00:26:46.000So they've developed these abilities to compartmentalize their sexuality.
00:26:50.000And, you know, they talk about this girl, August Ames, and how she had been replaced for a LA direct film scene the week before, tweeting out what seemed to be a sour grapes message.
00:27:33.000She dated old men because she had daddy issues.
00:27:37.000And she just stopped going to shoots because she was addicted to drugs.
00:27:41.000And I think these women, the combination of being molested and cocaine addicted, now cocaine gives you great highs, but it also gives you brutal lows.
00:27:50.000And I've often heard of Coke dealers killing themselves or cocaine addicts killing themselves because they essentially synthesize depression.
00:27:58.000You take your normal ups and downs and you turn them into roller coasters.
00:28:01.000So when you're way down here, you feel like killing yourself.
00:28:30.000And it has you here, behavioral scientist Gad Sada, chair of John Molson School of Business Montreal, and it has you quoted as saying, the problem is that the work dries up, the phone stops ringing, and they say, now what?
00:28:43.000Porn stars aren't the best at making a what-if plan for the future.
00:28:49.000I should have taped my conversation with the reporter because that doesn't sound like a direct quote of mine.
00:28:55.000But what I tried to explain to her is that I had written an article on my Psychology Today column where I summarized another study that had been done, not by me, back in 2013, where they actually tested the damaged good hypothesis, the idea that women who go into porn are necessarily damaged, and that's why ultimately they choose porn as a career.
00:29:18.000And the research, surprising to I think most people, did not find that.
00:29:23.000So that's really, that was the focus of our conversation.
00:29:26.000Have you ever heard the discovery, I guess you'd call it, that says when people are confronted with data that contradicts their beliefs, they become more steadfast in their beliefs.
00:29:38.000And actually, I made the point to her that that's why it's important, and certainly in the behavioral sciences, to test what's called folk psychology, right?
00:29:47.000Folk psychology are the beliefs that we all hold about how the world should work.
00:29:53.000Oftentimes, those beliefs are correct, whereas in many cases, our folk psychology proves to be incorrect.
00:30:00.000And so I think this is an example where if you asked 100 people, do you think that the damage good hypothesis will bear out?
00:30:09.000And most would say yes, but the data didn't show this.
00:30:11.000But I should mention, I had also interviewed an actual former male adult performer who went by the name of Dave Pounder, no less.
00:30:24.000And actually, our chat is published on my Psychology Today column.
00:30:29.000And he said that anecdotally, based on his experience, he was very surprised that the damaged good hypothesis did not hold.
00:30:37.000Well, I bring up the more steadfast because I'm one of those people, and I am experiencing folk psychology right now.
00:30:46.000When confronted with your article on Psychology Today that denies their damaged goods, I became more steadfast in my belief that they're damaged goods.
00:31:48.000Well, I mean, what you're saying is actually part of a more general phenomenon of cognitive dissonance, right?
00:31:54.000You know, if a girl that I loved leaves me and I now have to face the reality that she's left me, I will re-evaluate her qualities and faults so that her having left me sounds so much better to me now, right?
00:32:07.000And so what you're arguing basically is that it doesn't make sense for most people to go, and certainly for most women to choose this as a career path.
00:32:14.000And now when faced with having to justify it, they have to put a brave friend.
00:32:41.000It's funny that you say this because in one of my books, I talk about the fat acceptance movement, and I specifically refer to a movement, or I can't remember if it was a book, where they took the sort of the pejorative term fat so and they put it fat exclamation point, so question mark.
00:33:04.000If men don't, actually, they argue that it is incorrect to draw a link between obesity and all of these downstream health ill consequences.
00:33:14.000It's part of the pathologizing of obesity, and it's incorrect.
00:33:21.000So it's really very much of an ostrich strategy where you put your head in the sand and hope that the problem goes away.
00:33:26.000I mean, I've talked to comedians who would write jokes for the Vivid Awards, I believe it's called, the porn awards.
00:33:34.000And every time you made even the slightest allusion to child molestation or being diddled or whatever, the room just goes shumph.
00:33:44.000It's like you just showed a dead body on stage.
00:33:47.000Everyone is immediately silent because they all have it.
00:33:49.000Even like this woman, Auguste Ames, in the article, they say that, oh, she was mad because she was being bullied online.
00:33:57.000I've spoken to porn stars in the industry.
00:33:59.000She was raped by her father repeatedly, had crazy daddy issues, was a drug addict.
00:34:05.000They do cocaine, and cocaine has such ups and downs that when they hit a down, they hit a wham.
00:34:11.000Well, the study in question, by the way, the one that didn't support the damage good hypothesis, did find that when it comes to substance abuse, porn stars did consume it more than non-porn ladies.
00:34:23.000And so to that extent, you're exactly right.
00:34:29.000What percentage does your gut tell you, and this is not science, what percentage does your gut tell you women in the porn industry have been sexually molested?
00:34:39.000I think it's obviously there must be some, but I also, not to sound like a feminist guy, but I do think, look, I think we both spoke to Mercedes Carrera, right?
00:34:52.000Now, she will tell you that, no, look, she's a very strong woman who doesn't have negative patches in her past, but she's taken it upon herself to do this for very pragmatic reasons.
00:35:05.000So I can't give you the exact number, but my feeling is that there truly are women who went down this path because they suffered horrible realities in their past.
00:35:14.000But I do think there are other women who decide, look, I could do a couple of scenes per month and make a lot more than I could working as an office assistant.
00:35:24.000And they do this pragmatically, and yet they had a wonderful childhood.
00:36:28.000By the way, I should just mention as a side note, I received on my public Facebook page in the visitor post section this unbelievable message from a woman who somehow decided that based on whatever quotes were offered of me in that New York Post article, that I'm sort of the grand wizard of pornography, and then said that, of course, you are that, because after all, you are, and now in capital letters, a kike.
00:36:59.000And when they do come back for you, and I know they will, to blow your brains in the ditch, don't turn to me and whine when they execute you and the rest of your family.
00:37:09.000So this is the world that I live in, Gavin.
00:37:12.000Yes, I've received a few of those too.
00:37:14.000But just sometimes it's fun to try to figure out what the hell they're talking about.
00:37:18.000Is she talking about the imminent Fourth Reich when the Gestapo comes?
00:38:13.000Now, I'm sorry to get real serious and heavy all of a sudden, but the front page of the New York Post today is, why are porn stars dying?
00:38:25.000I saw that, actually, and it's very tragic.
00:38:29.000I've got a lot of theories about this.
00:38:31.000There's some, Gad Saad is a behavioral psychologist, and he said that, you know, being victims of molestation doesn't make any sense, and they're much happier than other people, or at least normal happiness, blah, blah, blah.
00:38:44.000I don't know if I believe that, but I think one thing that they're not covering here is cocaine.
00:39:27.000Whereas society right now is just like, you need to be thin and you need to be, have a big butt, and you need to this and you need that and everything.
00:39:39.000So society plays a good part in everything.
00:39:42.000Okay, well, that was another premise in the article.
00:39:44.000They said these women are young and hot and they're getting tons of movies.
00:42:07.000Well, there's tons of reasons for that.
00:42:09.000One is a lot more girls are doing it, and I believe that's because of this slut walk.
00:42:13.000My mom's a slut culture, so we have more porn stars, and that statistically is going to mean more deaths.
00:42:19.000We also have an opioid epidemic and kids doing Xanax and other things.
00:42:24.000And the reason these kids are doing more drugs than ever is because with this new influx of porn stars, you have girls who just aren't cut out for it.
