00:00:00.000 Thank you, Mr. President. My question is for the Minister of Affairs Francophone.
00:00:05.000 Our government for the population is looking for the preservation and development
00:00:10.000 of the agricultural growth of the Franco-Ontarians and Franco-Ontarians,
00:00:14.000 especially in the field of education.
00:00:17.000 As a government, we are determined to participate in the development of the Francophone communities.
00:00:23.000 We know that there are more than 100,000 students in French schools
00:00:29.000 and more than 2 million students enrolled in the second language language program in the province.
00:00:35.000 Can the Minister of Francophone Affairs inform this chamber of the work that our government
00:00:41.000 does for the Francophone community in Ontario with very high education and education in the province?
00:00:50.000 Thank you.
00:00:52.000 Minister of Francophone Affairs.
00:00:54.000 Minister of Francophone Affairs.
00:01:23.420 This includes 23,5 million dollars for education in French language,
00:01:28.420 sold in the 12 school commissions of French or the 60 languages of English,
00:01:33.420 in partnership with the federal government,
00:01:36.420 for activities of mobilization of students and parents,
00:01:40.420 activities of professional development,
00:01:42.420 courses and services online,
00:01:45.420 manuals, courses and resources for teachers.
00:01:49.420 Thank you.
00:01:51.420 Supplementary.

00:02:20.420 good order in our public finances, because we have to cope with the difficult situation
00:02:24.980 budget that has left the old Liberal government after 15 years of bad management and 15
00:02:32.900 billion dollars in annual deficit.
00:02:35.180 At the same time, we support the Francophone education and we are hearing, as the government,
00:02:39.980 continue to look at the interests of the Franc-Ontarian and Franc-Ontarians, in recall
00:02:44.080 the federal government's investment in terms of support to Francophone.
00:02:48.580 In fact, the federal government does not accord only 2,68 dollars for francophone programs in Ontario,
00:02:56.580 while he does 35 dollars for francophone in Manitoba and 7 dollars for Nouveau-Brunswick.
00:03:02.580 Despite the federal investment in education, it is time for the federal government to
00:03:08.580 face to just part in terms of the financement of francophones in Ontario, in terms of Canada and Ontario.
