00:00:32.620 Canadian government should make it a priority to be stopping hate in Canada. I also talk about how

00:00:38.180 I suspect this survey is going to be used to try and push through legislation to take away freedom

00:00:43.460 of speech in Canada and how a lot of this is just turning into thinly failed authoritarianism. Anyway,

00:00:49.040 let's get into it. I guess we'll keep going here. Theme one. During previous engagement sessions

00:00:53.320 organized by the federal anti-racism secretariat between 2019 and 2022, several potential themes

00:00:59.560 and recommendations emerged that will be used as a foundation for the development of a national

00:01:04.800 action plan on combating hate and a renewed anti-racism strategy. Please review the themes

00:01:10.160 and recommendations below. Theme one. Lead government action against hate. Which of the following

00:07:40.460 And this is really just scratching the surface in Canada. Look at this article suspect in Canada

00:07:44.360 trucker protest hit and run is militant Antifa punk rocker. David Zegarac has a history of far left

00:07:50.920 militant activism with Antifa in Canada. This Antifa member in Canada drove a car into freedom convoy

00:07:57.720 of protesters. Four people were injured and I believe one went to the hospital. Driving a car

00:08:02.140 into someone that basically qualifies as terrorism. But according to the Canadian Anti-Hate Network

00:08:06.740 and according to the Department of Canadian Heritage, the only hate in this country comes

00:09:51.560 their passport, and then cross the border into Roxham road. And then, you know, tell a story to

00:09:56.800 immigrations Canada or whatever our refugee system is and, and kind of live free off the government for

00:10:02.960 10 years. Like there there's, there's obvious critiques for the system in Canada. And because

00:10:10.200 of the news media, because of our political class, they have wholesale said that it's all white

00:10:14.940 supremacy to even critique that. So the fact that they're just saying white supremacist is hate,

00:10:20.800 it's, uh, obviously they're showing their political partisanship. Them using white supremacist is a dog

00:10:26.880 whistle, believe it or not, for conservative minded people, conservative minded old stock Canadians.

00:11:32.220 theme that you feel should be included. I find it very disturbing that you only list white supremacist

00:11:37.580 activities here. I am trans and experience more hatred in my immediate Jamaican community than

00:11:46.660 anywhere else. Now, some of you might say, Greg, how dare you have the audacity to say something like

00:11:52.200 this and pretend to be somebody else? I'm not really afraid to say something like that or stand behind

00:11:57.060 that. I worked once. I used to work for a gay radio station, 1039 Proud FM in Toronto. And I

00:12:03.540 interviewed the woman I talked to was from Jamaica. She was this, you know, this very kind, sweet,

00:12:09.140 lesbian woman. And she was so happy to be in Canada, having come from Jamaica, because she was like

00:12:16.740 targeted for all sorts of things. And I really doubt that this woman who is in Jamaica is worried about

00:12:26.780 white supremacist groups. I imagine she might be more concerned about, you know, well, who was

00:12:33.540 attacking her in Jamaica? Jamaicans were attacking her in Jamaica. And I think I got my point across.

00:12:40.400 Boost safe, resilient communities and tackle root causes. Which of the following recommendations are

00:12:45.120 highest priority for this theme? Increase funding and support for community safety programs. Establish

00:12:49.860 a national victims of hate program. Oh my God. All this sounds insane. Fun anti-hate education

00:12:56.060 and awareness programs developed by communities that are affected by hate. Communities that are affected by

00:13:01.680 hate? Who isn't affected by hate? These could include critical thinking skills to help Canadians

00:13:09.760 better understand what they read online. I kind of agree with that one, I think.

00:13:15.120 Because I think critical thinking skills is what's needed here. Like a broader context of hate and

00:13:22.660 kind of showing people that you can walk away from the computer screen. You know, you don't need to

00:13:27.780 read hateful comments. You can literally turn your phone off and the hate goes away. It's that simple.

00:13:32.360 Increase media representation for communities affected by hate. Again, what community is not affected by hate

00:13:37.780 in one way or another? Because think about it. Who is it? Like if you want to go there,

00:13:41.580 Christians are hated. They had all their churches burnt down over the unmarked graves thing. You know, 1.00

00:13:46.500 white people are certainly hated. Increase funding for cultural exchanges so that all Canadians can

00:13:50.780 better understand one another. Improve access to the justice system for victims of hate. Victims of hate.

00:13:56.100 Again, like, you know, who is a community unaffected by hate? Who is not a victim of hate in some form

00:14:01.740 or another? People have hated me for playing for a certain hockey team or soccer team. Provide better support

00:14:06.740 for organizations to address the root causes of hate and stop hate in their communities. What is

00:14:11.280 the root causes? Create a fund that helps law enforcement address hate through anti-hate units.

00:14:16.760 These anti-hate units would be, would have representation from communities that are affected

00:14:26.240 hate. It's so broad. What is hate? And this needs to be emphasized. The word hate has been used 32 times

00:14:33.000 so far in this survey, and they have not yet defined it. And wait, why would they? The Department

00:14:37.980 of Canadian Heritage and the Canadian government, this Canadian government, has showed intentions

00:14:42.380 of changing the definition of hate. So obviously, all of this is very unclear. We're changing the

00:14:48.680 definition of hate. We're also combating hate. And this is a pattern we've been seeing with this

00:14:53.980 liberal government with terribly unclear legislation. Bill C-11, so many questions. And instead of addressing

00:15:00.720 these, the liberals are saying, no, don't worry, bro. We're just going to push it through anyway and

00:15:05.100 make it law. This stuff, in my personal opinion, is thinly veiled authoritarianism. If you can't

00:15:10.280 explain your bill and the many different questions or details that are unclear to people, then it

00:15:15.060 shouldn't be passed and made law in the first place. It's pretty simple. What is hate? We keep

00:15:19.240 talking about this word, but what is it? I defined it as a human emotion, and I think that's pretty fair.

00:16:27.360 just more confusion, more chaos. And, and, and the worst of all, this is the whole misguided thing

00:16:33.520 of like the whole anti-bullying movement, being a victim, you know, stay, I guess I should say

00:16:38.740 staying a victim and, and like embracing the fact that you're a victim and kind of,

00:16:45.100 and exacerbating that it doesn't make you a stronger person. It actually makes you a,

00:16:52.720 a, a weaker person. It recreates your identity into this like spiteful kind of revenge driven,

00:17:00.460 uh, sort of place. And trust me, if you are subject to hatred and subject to a traumatizing

00:17:08.620 experience, you need to process that. And you need to care for yourself and you need to find people

00:17:14.540 who can take care of you and like, make sure that you instill, uh, the strength in you and come to

00:17:19.640 terms with the horrible thing that happened to you. But to stay in that forever, that you're,

00:17:26.120 you're kind of signing up for a, um, uh, an identity of despair. You know, you're defining

00:17:32.460 yourself through your trauma. And I think that makes, I think everyone goes through that. I think

00:17:37.080 that makes sense. But to kind of, again, exacerbate the fact that you are a victim

00:17:42.300 is not going to lead to anything good. Cause, cause the contrary, it's like, you know,

00:17:50.240 emphasizing that you're a victim and this happened to you. It's let's try to get you strong. Let's,

00:17:56.500 let's try to get you resilient. Let's try to empower you to, to, to make a positive change,

00:18:02.760 to, to, to overcome the victimhood and to overcome the pain and the hatred you experienced. It's not easy,

00:18:10.640 but people who are able to do that are such inspiring people. They're such inspiring

00:18:41.060 necessarily racist. I mean, I'm white. I have to deal with white assholes all the time. I can't

00:18:45.020 call them racist. They're just assholes. You know what I mean? All of this thinking is like very,

00:18:49.420 very depressing because if, if this stuff, God forbid, were to catch on, it's going to create

00:20:50.900 white supremacy is the only enemy here. Let me repeat. I read the book called Infidel by Ayaan

00:23:27.380 about this one is how it's like, yeah, stop white supremacy. In other words, strengthen democracy,

00:23:33.460 improve law enforcement, human rights, and increase equality of life. As if created like this,

00:23:39.860 like opposing ideas, right? There's like white supremacist fascism and then like classical liberalism.

00:23:45.960 Like those are like the two warring ideas or something. Oh boy. Share and learn good practices to stop hate,

00:23:51.200 both in Canada and internationally. So I wrote, um, once again, why does this survey only mention

00:23:56.560 white supremacist groups? I just finished reading Ayaan Hirsi Ali's book Infidel and her experience

00:24:01.160 reflects a reality where the hatred and victimization she experienced came from her own Muslim community.

00:24:05.420 Am I wrong? After reviewing the proposed themes for the National Action Plan on Combating Hate,

00:24:09.520 which of the four is most important to you? Leading government action against hate, driving anti-hate

00:24:13.760 legislation, boosting safe and resilient communities and tackling root causes, taking the fight against hate

00:24:19.360 global. I'm going to say don't know. Thank you. Thank you. That's it. Thank you for helping, uh,

00:25:16.680 are like edgy young conservatives on the internet. That's the closest thing you can find. I'm sure

00:25:22.900 there's like, there's like a couple of like genuine, like individuals here and there aside

00:25:26.840 from like in Canada, quite literally like a handful of people, they don't exist. And I would know

00:25:43.480 point where I really don't care if you think I'm racist or you call me racist, because in many cases,

00:25:48.820 this government is, is guilty of abusing children on a regular basis. This government is guilty of

00:25:55.700 perverting health, perverting what health is to the entire country, to the detriment of millions.

00:26:03.380 Okay. And many, many other things, which I feel really strongly about hate is a human emotion.

00:26:08.500 It's healthy to hate evil. For example, it's, it's healthy to hate liars. It's healthy to hate

00:26:16.440 immoral people. It's, it's healthy to hate someone who wrongs you, especially if they intentionally do

00:26:25.100 it. The difference is how are we going to act upon that hate? Because obviously violence is not a good

00:26:32.080 answer. And our law, our laws already reflect that inciting violence, also against the law.

00:26:39.580 We already have that line in the sand. So that was a look at what the Canadian government is planning

00:26:47.720 in terms of hate legislation. It's all very reflective of what we already know about bill C 36,

00:26:53.720 but obviously they're using this survey to try and, you know, pump up the numbers, pump up the,

00:27:01.180 the, the stats and the research and the science that's going to justify this legislation. But as

00:27:07.880 I just showed you in this video, it's obviously very slanted, very, very slanted in one direction.

00:27:13.680 What do you know? If, if you don't think that the Canadian government should be combating hate,

00:27:19.420 if you don't think the Canadian government should be policing a human emotion, then they don't even

00:27:24.480 let you answer the questions. Right. And to end, let me show, let me show what I've been through

00:27:29.820 as a PPC candidate. This is the hate that I had to experience. I ran for politics last year. The CPC

00:27:36.960 and other mainstream media outlets grossly mischaracterized my party and my leader because

00:27:41.380 of these mischaracterizations, some of which from our public broadcaster. I had an 18 year old

00:27:46.660 volunteer shouted at in the street and physically intimidated by a man, probably twice his age. I was

00:27:54.040 flagrantly disrespected at debates by grown men who are hoping to represent you in parliament.

00:27:59.020 I was protested against, banned from debates, slandered online campaign signage was vandalized

00:28:04.960 along with many other PPC candidates. They had that experience. And finally, I had a Canadian

00:28:10.360 volunteer of Indian heritage harassed on the street for campaigning with me, even having vegetables

00:28:16.500 thrown at him. So where's my survey? Where's my, where do I get to voice my concerns? Hey, it's not,

00:28:23.140 I don't like to participate in the victimhood contest because I'm sure people would say, well,

00:28:26.740 that's not as bad as this. And that's not as bad as that. We need equality under the law. Okay.

00:28:32.600 And if we create laws that create like hate as this emotion, hate becomes a commodity. Hate becomes

00:28:38.740 this commodity that you can buy and sell and trade and create and then project onto people and then

00:28:46.260 accuse people of and try to get them in trouble. It would be horrible. Canada would become a horrible,

00:28:54.260 horrible place. If any legislation like this were to pass, I mean, Bill C-11 is bad, but no,

00:29:00.900 no, no, no, no, no, no. What they are planning is, is way, way, way, way worse. And this legislation,

00:29:07.100 of course, needs to be stopped. And I'm going to be working to create content to wake people up to
