Greg Wycliffe - De-banked for Opposing Immigration in Portugal

In this episode, I sit down with Portuguese anti-racist and anti-migrant activist and we talk about her journey to protest against mass migration in Portugal, her experience with de-platforming, and her plans for the future of her country.

00:00:00.000 You're a tremendous inspiration for the people of Portugal and also across Europe,

00:00:04.800 but take me back, what first red-pilled you? What first got you into all this?

00:00:08.820 I wish I had a cliché story or something that happened to my family or to a friend,

00:00:15.260 but it was really this feeling of helplessness, looking around, looking through my bedroom window

00:00:22.120 and seeing my country change for the worst every day

00:00:25.240 and feeling that this was being forced upon me against my will.

00:00:30.000 and I thought that I have the willpower, I have maybe the skills,

00:00:34.800 and I have the knowledge that something is deeply wrong.

00:00:37.640 I need to start doing something.

00:00:39.640 It's my responsibility to do it, and if I don't do it, no one is going to do it.

00:00:43.880 So I better start working for the future of my country.

00:00:47.460 Knowing I was going to come on this trip,

00:00:49.140 I thought it might be fun to try and find the most cancelled person in Europe.

00:00:52.960 But really, cancelization is a badge of honor.

00:00:55.940 So I want to know, what kind of badges have you earned?

00:00:58.340 Have you been banned from anything yet?

00:01:00.740 Yes, I've been banned from PayPal, YouTube, TikTok,

00:01:06.340 Buy Me A Coffee, different payment platforms.

00:01:09.520 And now recently, I mean, I've been banned from speaking in council as a citizen.

00:01:15.180 As a citizen, you can request to speak in council.

00:01:17.580 I was banned from that and dragged out of their conference room by the police.

00:01:21.860 I have been detained illegally for peacefully protesting against mass migration

00:01:26.220 and taken to jail with my hands behind my back in handcuffs.

00:01:32.940 And recently I've been debanked.

00:01:34.400 I've lost all my bank accounts, all my Portuguese bank accounts.

00:01:37.660 All my assets have been frozen.

00:01:39.340 I am not able to create another account in Portugal.

00:01:42.340 And they are doing all of this to destroy the movement. 0.98

00:01:46.160 And sometimes when days get hard and tough, you think,

00:01:50.100 whoa, this is really tough.

00:01:52.320 But then you find the strength to keep going.

00:01:54.740 And we will win.

00:01:55.380 by the way what do you think of activists being deplatformed losing their bank accounts

00:02:01.140 what do you think of the people who make these decisions

00:02:07.780 people who came before us faced much harder and much bigger hurdles and also the people

00:02:13.860 who are going to come after us they need us to fight for them and also jesus christ as a catholic

00:02:20.660 and and also our ancestors were catholics and were martyrs they died for our country so a bank

00:02:27.940 cancellation is nothing compared to dying and what do you uh respond to someone when they call you

00:02:32.660 racist when they call me racist i say thank you for the praise i appreciate the nice work thanks

00:02:38.260 so much i never apologize no matter what they throw in front of us we will never give up and

00:02:44.180 i guarantee and this room and this energy today proves it i guarantee that for those who came

00:02:49.780 before us and for those who will come after us we will not let them down
