00:00:00.000 Jerry Butts, Justin Trudeau's former secretary, is spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories.
00:00:05.560 You've maybe seen this viral trend by now where regular Canadians are posting saying,
00:00:09.180 hey, I'm married, I have three kids, I work really hard, but according to Justin Trudeau,
00:00:12.600 I'm an extremist that needs to be dealt with.
00:00:14.460 This trend has absolutely taken off going viral on Twitter.
00:00:17.800 And so what does Jerry Butts say about this organic trend that started?
00:00:21.640 The real question is, who is paying for this campaign?
00:00:24.860 Could it be Vladimir Putin, Jerry? 0.91
00:00:26.860 There's no way Canadians would just stand up for themselves and call out the ridiculous accusations of their prime minister, right? 0.91
00:00:32.740 That would never happen. 0.98
00:00:33.500 It must be the Russians. 1.00
00:00:34.600 Then Jerry doubles down saying, these aren't even real people.
00:00:37.500 Sending a ton of bots to insist this isn't a bot campaign is not a super strong strategy.
00:00:42.420 Do you have any evidence of these people being bots, Jerry?
00:00:45.560 Hashtag, that's very dehumanizing of you, that everyone who would be complaining about your former boss is a bot.
00:00:51.740 Anyway, the starter of the trend, Marty Up North, made a video saying,
00:00:55.060 Hey, me and all the people who have made these posts are very real, Jerry. 0.95
00:00:58.720 You're kind of crazy.
00:00:59.660 Then Jerry responds, I don't doubt Marty is real. 0.98
00:01:02.100 Sadly, he's being used.
00:01:04.720 By who?
00:01:05.780 It was the Russians, Jerry. 0.98
00:01:07.260 It was the Russians. 0.92
00:01:08.040 They're putting microchips in Canadian milk.
00:01:10.300 Here's an old Jerry Butts tweet.
00:01:11.620 Some big league misinformation being thrown at Canada these last few days.
00:01:15.300 Gotta hate that misinformation, eh, Jerry?
00:01:17.040 Information spreads at lightning speed.
00:01:19.200 And by the way, the only clarification he's making here is, hey, that woman who got crushed by a police horse, she didn't die.
00:01:26.460 She just got crushed by a police horse.
00:01:28.600 Her skull did not even get crushed.
00:01:31.020 So that is a misinformation.
00:01:33.340 I'm Jerry Butts.
00:01:34.340 And let's not forget, Jerry is the guy who shamefully resigned after the SNC-Lavalin scan.
00:01:39.200 And although he resigned in 2019, many people still think he's pulling the strings.
00:01:42.860 I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry works directly with the news media outlets themselves to help craft the narrative.
00:01:47.380 Oh, what do you know, there's Jerry having dinner with a journalist who was the debate moderator for the election debate a week before the debate happened.
00:01:55.160 So we shouldn't really be surprised by this unethical behavior from Jerry.
00:01:58.720 I mean, he's clearly desperate, trying to hold on to the narrative to the point where he's just spreading all sorts of lies and misinformation and literally inventing conspiracy theories off the top of his head.
00:02:08.760 Of course, these double standards are so irritating, they're going to spread misinformation, conspiracies, dehumanize people, and then never apologize.
00:02:15.380 While simultaneously accusing all of their political opponents of doing the same.
00:02:19.260 What do I know?
00:02:20.320 I'm someone who doesn't like Justin Trudeau, so I must be paid off, also a robot, also being manipulated by someone. 0.98
00:02:26.860 Silly, Jerry. 0.97
00:02:27.940 All right, Putin, I made the video. 0.99
