Greg Wycliffe - Subversive Conservatives in Canada need to be called out ｜ Wyatt Claypool ep. 1

00:00:00.000 We need to start talking about the subversive people in Canadian right-wing politics.

00:00:05.600 First of all, what does subversive mean?

00:00:07.440 It means to pervert or corrupt by an undermining of morals, allegiance, or faith.

00:00:12.860 So a subversive person in the Canadian right-wing would be someone who says they're conservative,

00:00:17.120 but they're not really conservative.

00:00:18.680 Or say they're Canada first, but they're not really Canada first.

00:00:22.300 So on today's episode, and I'm sure there will be many,

00:00:25.220 we're going to start with this little weasel, Wyatt Claypool.

00:00:28.080 Our story begins with a post from Harrison Faulkner, who works for True North.

00:00:32.720 He made a video saying, hey, Polyev and Trudeau seem to have the same policy on mass immigration.

00:00:39.520 Why isn't Pierre Polyev more conservative, pushing back against mass immigration?

00:00:44.240 And it's great to see this, by the way.

00:00:45.880 We have someone with a big platform applying pressure to the Conservative Party

00:00:49.620 and the future Prime Minister to say,

00:00:51.620 why are you not being conservative and pushing back against mass immigration? 0.75

00:00:55.960 And then little Wyatt shows up.

00:00:57.540 I really don't want to give this person attention, but we need to start talking about this phenomenon.

00:01:01.660 He says, Harrison Faulkner is on the only I and my friends are real conservatives grind.

00:01:08.320 Wyatt claims to be some sort of conservative person.

00:01:12.180 Harrison is bringing up the most important issue in Canada right now, mass immigration.

00:01:16.800 And this conservative guy, Wyatt Claypool, is not even talking about that issue at all.

00:01:23.180 He's just sort of starting to subvert, be subversive and say, oh, why is Harrison talking about this?

00:01:29.060 And then the whole reason I'm making this video is because Wyatt then said this,

00:01:32.600 promoting wiretap media content and Wycliffe is quite a move, by the way.

00:01:37.640 So he's referring to me, Greg Wycliffe.

00:01:40.040 And yes, Harrison has shared some of my work before.

00:01:42.480 I've started safefreespeech.ca to stop Bill C-63.

00:01:46.400 Again, I think any conservative would want to stop this Orwellian censorship bill.

00:01:50.860 And then for those who don't know,

00:01:52.160 Wiretap Media is somebody who does great investigative work

00:01:55.800 into high-level corruption happening in Canada.

00:01:58.880 And then so this little weasel shows up to kind of poo-poo my work 0.93

00:02:03.340 of starting safefreespeech.ca to stop Bill C-63.

00:02:06.380 And then this other account, Wiretap,

00:02:08.460 who's making video about high-level corruption in this country.

00:02:11.400 This guy claims to be a conservative, by the way.

00:02:13.220 And it gets even better because after that, he says,

00:02:15.500 if you just post the safe things people say,

00:02:18.680 you could always have plausible deniability.

00:02:22.740 What is he talking about here?

00:02:25.480 Deniability of what?

00:02:26.600 This is exactly like a cancel culture mob leftist mentality

00:02:32.540 of like, you better not associate with those people.

00:02:35.360 Oh, there's going to be some guilt by association

00:02:37.660 and you'll be in trouble.

00:02:39.560 This guy claims to be a conservative

00:02:41.600 and he's sending out these veiled threats

00:02:44.240 for conservatives making associations

00:02:46.740 or sharing other people's work.

00:02:48.680 And I've become very sensitive to this stuff

00:02:50.560 because in my fight to save free speech and stop Bill C-63,

00:02:54.220 I've realized there's a lot of cultural culture of fear

00:02:57.340 and people are very afraid to associate with one another

00:03:00.740 or talk to one another now.

00:03:02.280 And this is not the energy of a nation

00:03:04.160 that's going to keep their free speech. 0.94

00:03:05.660 But it's funny that somebody like Wyatt

00:03:07.620 claims to be this conservative

00:03:08.700 and it's kind of enforcing or advocating for that fear

00:03:12.000 of like, no, you shouldn't associate.

00:03:13.440 Don't associate with the wrong person, guys.

00:03:15.360 And unfortunately, I've encountered Wyatt Claypool in the past.

00:03:20.160 And what was he doing?

00:03:21.540 He was in my DMs.

00:03:23.100 He was DMing me saying,

00:03:24.680 hey, you should not associate with this person.

00:03:27.040 And he didn't know that this was actually

00:03:28.940 a good friend of mine at the time.

00:03:30.180 And he was telling lies about my friend

00:03:33.080 saying not to associate with this person.

00:03:35.640 So I want to make this video to let people know,

00:03:38.800 hey, is somebody like Wyatt Claypool in your DMs,

00:03:42.140 pressuring you, saying, hey, you shouldn't associate

00:03:44.760 with this person.

00:03:45.660 Just keep in mind, he's probably doing that

00:03:47.860 for a very intentional reason

00:03:49.600 of why he doesn't want you to connect

00:03:52.280 or have like-minded ideas with that person.

00:03:55.240 And unfortunately, based on my experience with this person,

00:03:58.280 he will lie to you.

00:04:00.020 He lied about my friend

00:04:01.400 when we were having a private conversation in the DMs.

00:04:04.880 And I recognize that.

00:04:06.440 I'm like, oh, this is interesting.

00:04:07.420 He is, this person's lying to me

00:04:09.300 to try and mischaracterize a friend of mine

00:04:11.640 so I won't publicly associate with them

00:04:13.840 and frankly won't speak as freely

00:04:15.800 as I would have otherwise.

00:04:17.400 So right-wing Canadians,

00:04:18.640 beware of subversives like this

00:04:20.320 showing up in your DMs

00:04:21.920 and trying to soften and subvert

00:04:24.700 your conservative values and convictions.
