00:00:00.000 Here we are, this is day nine of the Trucker Convoy in Ottawa.
00:00:03.600 You want to come on our YouTube channel real quick?
00:00:05.220 Hi.
00:00:05.460 What does this protest mean to you today?
00:00:07.120 I guess it's just, in general, being left alone and letting us make our own decisions.
00:00:12.060 I was just saying to another fellow, I'm more ticked off about not the government.
00:00:16.960 They have a right to have an opinion.
00:00:18.900 It's the media is supposed to protect us from the people in power.
00:00:22.940 If it was a right-wing government, they should be doing the same thing.
00:00:26.260 They're, like, working for them.
00:00:27.500 Well, they're getting paid by them now, so it's not surprising.
00:00:30.120 Yeah, if I pay you to do something.
00:00:31.620 $800 million a year, people know where their bread's getting buttered.
00:00:35.440 It's sad.
00:00:36.160 It's a shame.
00:00:36.820 But it's great to see this.
00:00:38.280 We were here last week, and we came back again today because I think it's important to show
00:00:41.900 the continued support that we're not just here because it was a hype last week.
00:00:47.620 And I hear a lot of people saying, I sort of agree with them, but they should leave now.
00:00:51.340 Like, hell, they shouldn't leave.
00:00:52.760 Leave when they've accomplished something.
00:00:54.260 It's a pretty simple demand, too.
00:00:55.920 You know, like, end the mandates, end these restrictions, right?
00:00:58.400 I asked a question.
00:00:59.480 I gave them some money last week on that GoFundMe, and now I'm trying to...
00:01:03.840 I know they got that other one, but it seems like they've hacked the site or something.
00:01:07.640 I decided that I gave $100, and now the minute I've been trying for two days to get on that
00:01:12.020 new site, I'm going to give $1,000 just to show my spite.
00:01:15.100 Well, if you have liquid, you can actually just donate directly to these truckers.
00:01:19.500 Yeah.
00:01:19.620 And that's what a lot of people do.
00:01:20.840 No trucker has been phased by this whole GoFundMe thing.
00:01:24.760 Yeah.
00:01:25.100 Because people are constantly coming by, giving them meals, giving them food for fuel, so...
00:01:29.940 Good to hear.
00:01:30.620 But that GoFundMe thing, what bugs me the most is, where did that come from?
00:01:35.060 And the answer is, this has got to be the cops and stuff, and the police or Trudeau's buddies
00:01:40.940 are pressuring them.
00:01:42.520 I mean, the fact that they're based in San Francisco doesn't help.
00:01:45.160 You can imagine the people who work there, but I think it's going to backfire on them
00:01:48.920 because you can sense that there's something extra sleazy about that.
00:01:53.200 You know, I went on the GoFundMe site, and I find all kinds of Antifa fundraising that's
00:02:00.760 permitted, and you go on their own website, and they advocate violence openly.
00:02:06.460 And so here, where's the violence?
00:02:08.260 Well, I haven't seen anything.
00:02:09.100 And there's a specific example, in Portland, I would believe it was called the CHAZ, the
00:02:14.780 Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, there was a GoFundMe for that, and people were murdered
00:02:18.920 in that Autonomous Zone, and GoFundMe, after the murder, was still, like, endorsing the Autonomous
00:02:24.680 Zone on their Twitter.
00:02:26.160 Yeah.
00:02:26.660 So there's clearly double standards.
00:02:28.240 It's funny, one thing I kind of respect on the left, though, it's going to sound funny,
00:02:32.640 I respect that they've succeeded in the sense that we should learn from it.
00:02:37.720 There are tactics.
00:02:40.000 Conservatives have spent 50 all my life trying to control the government to change the country,
00:02:47.120 and we're the ones who say the government isn't the solution.
00:02:49.940 And all the leftists who say that the government isn't the solution, those are the people who've
00:02:58.700 taken over the schools, even Wall Street now, everything.
00:03:03.000 And you've got to give them credit, and we should learn from them.
00:03:05.960 Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean you can't admit that they're smarter than
00:03:10.220 us sometimes, and they're tactics.
00:03:12.300 And speaking of which, when are you running for politics?
00:03:15.020 Never.
00:03:16.360 But I'll find out.
00:03:17.860 And the fact that they've been here a week, and there's no real issues, that, it's great
00:03:23.580 organization.
00:03:24.240 I admire whoever's behind this, because even if your intention is to be peaceful, all it
00:03:30.080 takes is the wrong guy pushing the wrong cop.
00:03:33.120 Everyone's well-behaved and polite, like real Canadians, right? 1.00
00:03:36.080 It's too bad there's no media for the people who disagree with us to see this.
00:03:40.980 But it'll get, it's getting through.
00:03:42.620 Did you see that poll that came out a few days ago?
00:03:45.380 Angus Reid, so a real poll.
00:03:47.260 So 54% of all Canadians support the removal of all mandates.
00:03:51.920 Everything.
00:03:52.640 There you go.
00:03:53.360 And if you listen to CBC, you'd think we're the fringe minority.
00:03:56.960 We're actually the majority now.
00:03:58.760 Yeah.
00:03:59.120 And a lot of people here are feeling like Canadian pride for the first time in a long time.
00:04:05.060 Ironically, you get French and English together on the same side.
00:04:08.160 That's right.
00:04:08.660 You don't see that very often.
00:04:09.700 And it's really a moment of national unity.
00:04:12.580 And how does it make you feel to know that the media is not even covering that?
00:04:17.920 But it's, we know it already.
00:04:19.720 This is just sort of bringing home what we all sort of know is that they've taken over
00:04:25.160 the education system two generations ago.
00:04:29.040 And so kids come out of journalism school. 0.99
00:04:32.120 They're filled with this communist Marxist garbage, you know. 0.99
00:04:37.020 And again, it's been our fault, right? 1.00
00:04:38.960 We've let it happen.
00:04:40.720 It's just my name, Greg Wycliffe.
00:04:42.680 Yeah.
00:04:43.100 Make sure you like, share, and subscribe.
00:04:45.360 And leave a donation at the e-transfer link below.
00:04:49.360 Gotta run.
00:04:50.660 Nice to meet you.
00:04:51.800 Good luck.
00:04:52.420 Thanks a lot.
00:04:53.140 Hey, Max, you want to do a quick interview?
00:04:55.760 How are you today, sir?
00:04:57.040 Fine, and you?
00:04:58.160 I'm doing fantastic.
00:04:59.820 This is a moment of national unity for the country.
00:05:02.360 And the media is not even covering that.
00:05:04.560 It's a shame.
00:05:05.220 It's a shame.
