00:00:00.000 hello what there we go see tash is not here and i'm already screwing up how's it going chris
00:00:28.880 we're doing good how's things with you yeah we miss our gosh we do miss our tasha tasha is
00:00:35.520 should be landing in toronto right away she is in toronto for the ipg independent press gallery
00:00:41.280 awards as well as the uh democracy fund student journalism conference and uh a huge uh bonjour
00:00:49.840 to mon ami diego who is flying out there to um speak at the conference really nice like diego
00:00:57.280 our friend from ottawa yeah yeah yeah he's awesome with his family now yeah so he is going to go out
00:01:03.760 and speak there so uh hello to mon ami diego oh gosh what a week it's been i don't even know where
00:01:11.360 to start you know i was driving this morning and i'm like holy mackerel it's thursday i have to
00:01:16.560 i have a show to do tonight oh gosh like then i start panicking i was like thinking it was wednesday
00:01:22.400 i worked i was home sunday night for a little while had supper and then i was gone monday
00:01:27.360 morning and i you know man can i give everybody an update do you want to go first yes no you go
00:01:34.640 ahead you go first you go first yes i took a load up to fort st john bc of course but i didn't have
00:01:40.160 to just go to fort st john i had to go up to crestitude uh just about an hour north of fort
00:01:44.880 st john and man i unloaded about within distance of one of a couple of the people that were in
00:01:50.400 ottawa with us convoy people and invited me out for supper we had we sat on a deck last night an
00:01:56.240 open deck in the middle of the country an hour north of fort st john we had smoked salmon from
00:02:01.360 the ocean in bc for supper and fresh vegetables from the garden and just burn buchard one of the
00:02:07.920 other guys and his wife came up and we sat on the deck and we just chatted online and of course
00:02:12.160 slept in you know at the farmer's yard there and then carried on down 14 john where i was just
00:02:17.120 said hey show up you know in route because everything i do has to be in route route so
00:02:21.760 i can't go visit somebody i have to be in route so i stopped this morning for breakfast in fort
00:02:26.240 st john and wasn't just a couple people there there was a ton of people there and uh we got
00:02:31.280 to hang out and a lot of amazing people some people from convoys some people they're just
00:02:34.880 supporters had coffee and breakfast with everybody this morning jordan keely was there uh mp for
00:02:41.760 yeah what an awesome guy he's so good as soon as i walked in the room and i seen that big black
00:02:45.680 cowboy hat of that oh jordan's here so great yeah just just a good time so i'm uh i'm headed back
00:02:54.400 down lots of loves like lots of shows constantly all day long i've talked to you a couple times
00:03:00.880 there and every time i'm in the truck here you see you know you can hear the people on the radio
00:03:05.120 this thing it's like hey big grad is that you going the other way it's it's absolutely amazing
00:03:10.880 and humbling so well you know it's like you were just saying before we went live um uh
00:03:18.800 you know why they wanted to destroy your truck why they were trying to take it because you
00:03:23.040 can't drive down the highway without horn honking or people talking to you or you can't pull into
00:03:27.840 a truck stop without people talking to you we've had shows where you've been parked and people
00:03:32.480 come up and talk to you right in the middle of the show you know what i mean that's that's why
00:03:37.120 i'm parked nose noseward into the stall here so you know somebody could probably see me but i kind
00:03:43.760 of i find places to park now where i'm out of sight so i can do this little people you know
00:03:49.280 you know just you know another story from this morning you know we're sitting there we're having 0.86
00:03:56.000 yeah this is this is so this lady michelle she walks into the restaurant this morning
00:04:00.640 here's michelle and i i want to i want to point this out because this happens
00:04:05.360 more often than one would imagine but michelle walked through the door of the restaurant this
00:04:09.840 morning and seen me and she immediately burst out into tears she wasn't the only one that was there
00:04:14.320 this morning she immediately burst out into tears like sob crying and i kind of went over and tried
00:04:19.360 to shake her hand and ended up giving her a hug and you know i don't think i did anything anything
00:04:25.600 more than anybody else in auto i've never thought that and i know you feel the same way but you know
00:04:31.120 people look at us as that symbol of hope and when michelle told me your story about how much she
00:04:36.560 lost and her family lost through covid you know business owners family life just completely
00:04:42.560 obliterated because of what they did to us and they're still struggling to this day and you know
00:04:50.400 i get to hear those stories every time i stop and meet different people and i'll tell you what it
00:04:55.840 wasn't long after that somebody else at the coffee table you know said to me hey chris knowing what
00:05:00.800 you know now would you would you have done it again like do you do you regret going and i kind
00:05:08.080 of just stop and i'm like did you just see my interactions with with michelle when she walked
00:05:12.560 in the door of this restaurant and now she burst out crying and she had she she gave me a hug and
00:05:17.040 told me her story and what what she went through through covet period and i'm like no i i i for me
00:05:23.760 to say that i regret anything would mean letting people down like michelle and i know this happens
00:05:28.880 to you as well yeah this lives that we touched on here so i'll never feel sorry for that nobody can
00:05:35.280 ever make me feel sorry for that so that's right exactly absolutely norver morris partner in
00:05:41.760 alleged crime as we yeah we are convicted but it's we're appealing it so i'm still gonna say
00:05:49.920 a legend how was your week tomorrow oh goodness it was it was busy but not busy obviously you
00:05:58.800 know i'm grounded so um i haven't been able to really leave but i do have a few things in the
00:06:05.040 works obviously um we're just getting the papers already i'll be moving to manitoba i have to
00:06:11.120 relocate um to manitoba so that i can go and stay with my daughter and help them over harvest and
00:06:17.440 bird season to look after my granddaughters um so i have to do a move
00:06:28.000 sorry i hear a leg hopefully that's not my leg is that tamara's leg
00:06:32.640 and if it's tamara's leg and she doesn't pop back on there she is she's back you're gonna
00:06:36.640 leg weird um so everybody that's really funny i should be uh it should be good to go but anyways
00:06:47.600 um so yeah we're getting that we're going so on 13th of september uh we'll be heading to manitoba
00:06:52.800 for probably six to eight weeks um so i'll be working working out of manitoba maybe i can go
00:06:58.480 make wad canoes life miserable what do you think you know after some of the words rebels in his
00:07:05.360 life he needs a rebel in his life i feel it one of the theories out there is one of the major
00:07:12.160 theories is you don't bully a bully and you know we all know that president trump is he's i he's
00:07:18.640 the man in control right now so for all these piss out premiers out here flopping their gums like
00:07:26.320 they are right now you wonder why it's tough feeling right now in negotiations when you know 0.98
00:07:31.280 i wish carney had a little more balls to say you could just sit at the kids table where you belong 0.69
00:07:35.760 ford wob canoe um weirdo from eb from bc like come on you people you wonder why potato 0.93

00:07:59.280 oh well let's say hello to some of the people somebody made the reference today the wob canoe

00:08:48.000 with chris and tamara uh tonight's show before we get started is brought to you by our sponsor
00:08:53.680 uh resistance coffee company i'm gonna do a miserable job of this as i said tasha is away
00:09:01.680 this week but we gotta send a huge shout out to resistance coffee company who is
00:09:05.760 a sponsor of our show um they are a family-run business that sells premium coffee and they have
00:09:13.280 real real canadian values um our favorite of course is the mischief makers blend
00:09:19.440 and so if you head on over to i'll get it up here one second uh resistancecoffee.com
00:09:27.840 and use the promo code house arrest one zero that's house arrest 10 for a discount on some
00:09:33.920 premium very good coffee which i am enjoying in my beautiful new mug from resistance coffee
00:09:41.220 company so yeah i made the reference last week you know like i think i made the reference last
00:09:46.180 week that hey you got a mug and i guess a mug is on its way so special thanks to resistance coffee
00:09:50.940 company i didn't really need a mug but i will i will gladly display it and make myself a fresh
00:09:56.220 i might have some baileys though in it next time i'm sitting at home with coffee of course
00:10:01.120 so i'm not driving with coffee of course that's right oh my gosh what else was i gonna bring up
00:10:07.100 well we are on episode 43 already i was doing the math here just before we started as i have
00:10:12.600 been doing we are 46 weeks into our sentence out of 78 total um that was the full 18 month sentence
00:10:20.260 by the way so 46 weeks in i think we got about five and a half six to go uh before the house
00:10:25.900 arrest portion will come off and then we'll go into our curfew which really doesn't change
00:10:31.040 anything for us other than we can leave our house during the day uh we'll still have to be getting
00:10:35.880 you know permission to travel or do stuff or work and all that kind of stuff so but it's going by
00:10:41.440 fast so question to the audience the question of the audience out here like when this is done and
00:10:49.500 april comes around and we're off our house arrest do we continue the show
00:10:53.180 absolutely what are we going to call it then though goodness maybe we'll still call it well
00:11:00.980 we still have a we might lose our appeal so we still may end up on house arrest
00:11:04.560 we got a long ways to go i think honestly i think with what's happening um with pat king's case
00:11:11.660 honestly i think we're going to be convicted on on appeal that seems to be how they're getting
00:11:15.920 all of us right just a stroke of a pen yeah have your acquittal turn into a yeah i think your
00:11:22.220 lawyers have a no hearing i think our uh i think our lawyers out there have to do a little bit
00:11:29.640 better of a job making a distinction between you know you know me and you compared to other people
00:11:35.460 to to maybe we need some wins in this right now and i think it's time that that all that
00:11:40.720 information comes to the forefront i think there's a lot of evidence out there so i hope that's the
00:11:46.160 direction to go and uh well it is what it is i mean how can somebody be convicted because of an
00:11:53.580 appeals court decision there was no retrial no nothings so this is this this is just malarkey
00:11:58.240 in this country when more biased from our judicial system so and and i honestly think that's how
00:12:04.040 they're getting us i mean other than burn wake up people was acquitted yeah burn was acquitted and
00:12:10.200 he um didn't they didn't appeal it but he i think he's the only one i think harold jonker he was
00:12:17.160 he had his charges stayed i believe so and uh charlotte too yeah harold too so but there has
00:12:23.240 been a few um acquittals that have ended up in appeals court and rimlowski uh remley uh evan
00:12:31.400 blackmore um and there was another one that they've all been uh yeah overturned on appeal
00:12:38.280 and conviction convicted on appeal so no jury of our peers you're right wouldn't that be cool though
00:12:48.920 speaking of injustices in this country i mean what we're tonight's episode is exactly about
00:12:53.720 that we have a special tonight absolutely and i've been looking forward to having this guy on
00:12:59.800 for a long time um as as i was telling him before the show you know i've i've followed his story i
00:13:04.200 I've followed it, obviously, but not not quite as closely as I would have liked.
00:13:08.480 So in the research that I've done looking into, well, I mean, Jim's story is incredible.
00:13:13.280 Another case where, you know, we've lost our freedom of speech.
00:13:16.540 We've lost our freedom of expression.
00:13:18.500 Here's a gentleman that is standing up and pushing back against it.
00:13:21.320 And he is just being he's been through the ringer.
00:13:24.420 Jim McMurtry was a educator with over 30 years of experience in B.C., I believe, is where he was teaching, obviously, when all this went down.
00:13:34.200 And in class one day, he was substituting one day shortly after the announcement of the radar at Kamloops and, you know, simply, I'm paraphrasing, obviously, he can tell us the whole story, but simply told his students, you know, don't jump to conclusions.
00:13:51.060 It might not be a murder. You know, a lot of kids that were in residential schools died from
00:13:56.300 illnesses. And he was hauled out of school. He was he was escorted out of school that same day
00:14:03.280 and suspended the next day. I believe it was in October of 2025. He was formally terminated from
00:14:09.460 his position. But he's still out there fighting. And we're going to talk with Jim tonight. And
00:14:15.280 we've also got JCCF lawyer stopping in later to talk about their case that they have their
00:14:20.620 petitioning to the bc supreme court on jim's behalf so without further ado let's bring on
00:14:25.260 the one and only the man the legend mr jim mcmurtry welcome to house arrest well i'm under
00:14:31.300 house arrest as well in the sense every time i go to a school the police are called so
00:14:36.580 oh no oh gosh well it's so great to have you here jim um i mean again your story is absolutely
00:14:45.840 incredible you know just for saying like just a remark about you know we can't jump to conclusions
00:14:53.200 what what you said wasn't wasn't wrong um but i guess when they're trying to shove a narrative
00:14:58.780 down everybody's throats they don't like it when people offer um alternative uh points of view
00:15:04.560 yeah the year that i was walked out was the year that uh senator lynn bayek was was forced out of
00:15:12.320 the Senate. So there's, you know, Canada really went through a strange period. And you two know
00:15:20.020 that best, but the hysteria over George Floyd, over COVID, over all sorts of things. And I would
00:15:29.780 say residential schools would probably be part of the big three there. And in my situation,
00:15:35.740 in saying something, and this is what my lawyer asked me to say before the show, make sure I don't
00:15:40.720 say anything i'm not supposed to which is the tendency of mine and that is the first thing so
00:15:45.840 but he's not on yet so so hit me with some hard questions early on yeah and uh but the first thing
00:15:51.600 he wanted me to say was i was teaching calculus 12. my principal asked me to talk about residential
00:15:57.840 schools i kind of went okay you know that it's just not not something it was kryptonite in my
00:16:04.000 hand it was just not something i wanted to do the second thing is in canada we are entitled to fair
00:16:09.200 comment. And there was something that I said that was that strayed in any way from what the truth
00:16:16.880 and reconciliation report had indicated. And I was walked out by two vice principals within half an
00:16:23.860 hour of saying what I did. And the extraordinary thing about that for me was, since then, I've
00:16:29.680 never talked to any of my supervisors, never talked to my colleague, the guidance counselor who
00:16:34.760 reported me, she wasn't in the classroom, so I didn't know how she knew really what I said.
00:16:39.200 just went right up to the top it's like in your case went right up top to the prime minister
00:16:43.680 you know without ever wanting to meet you without ever wanting to get to know
00:16:47.420 the story and hear from all sorts of canadians all of a sudden you know everybody underneath was
00:16:52.860 was working to uh publicly pillory us and uh so my story i think you know because you inspire me
00:16:59.880 you both so much is um and as i said before to you it's the idea what you two have done is you
00:17:07.780 haven't moved from your position. And I think this is what we lack in Canada, the courage of
00:17:14.320 our convictions of just saying no, and nothing is going to bend me, no amount of money, no amount
00:17:20.520 of punishment. And that's over time makes us very, very powerful. The third thing I need to say is
00:17:28.960 not just my employer took away my fundamental right to free speech, this happened to you,
00:17:34.060 and other fundamental rights, particularly in regard to being able to express history in an
00:17:42.200 honest way and so forth. But what it is, well, my union and regulatory body came in
00:17:47.920 and also canceled my fundamental rights. My own union, and this is why the JCC is involved in my
00:17:56.760 case and more will be said about that a little bit later with a lawyer. And what's fascinating
00:18:02.340 there is that complete abandonment by the people to whom I paid dues for so many years.
00:18:10.440 And so what we're trying to do all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada, change the
00:18:15.360 constitution in Canada, where unionized workers cannot be abandoned, cannot be blocked by their
00:18:21.740 own union from seeking redress, from having, again, charter rights.
00:18:27.760 yes absolutely and that was one of the shocking things that i read about your story was that your
00:18:33.860 union didn't really do anything for you and then they when it was dismissed they wouldn't even let
00:18:38.380 you fight it yourself personally can i tell you a good story about my union um yeah within a few
00:18:44.400 weeks of the the uh the horrible october 7th massacre uh 1200 mostly young jewish people
00:18:51.240 it gave $50,000 to Hamas. The $50,000 comes from teachers dues. So these unions, they're not
00:19:00.980 directly, the people at the top are not directly elected. So they create all these layers. And so
00:19:07.300 they're very good at making sure nobody who represent like myself, who represents the vast
00:19:12.120 majority of teachers will ever be able to move up higher in the echelon. As well, they have posted
00:19:18.360 on their website to this day a big display which they push on teachers and students about the 215
00:19:25.840 kids that were found in Kamloops and so that's my story you know that didn't happen there was
00:19:31.940 no murder at any residential schools I knew that it's part of my my own education my own training
00:19:37.800 I also as a teacher know instinctively that teachers don't do that to their students
00:19:42.380 if there were 215 kids murdered at that school that would have been more than half the population
00:19:48.600 of the school there's never been a single child missing there are only two children that were ever
00:19:54.560 um that ever died at the school pearl joe and adrian george and they died both of accidents
00:20:00.580 in a period that extends well over 100 years and and the sad thing is um the very sad thing about
00:20:07.680 for me is is people don't recognize basic things like that kids don't die at school right and yes
00:20:15.200 it happens so there's been kids that have died at my school there's a recently a child who died
00:20:19.040 during a basketball game a student of mine horrible but when kids get sick they're put
00:20:24.320 in hospitals or they're they're sent home if it's palliative so this idea that the truth
00:20:29.920 and reconciliation commission which is now the national center for truth and reconciliation
00:20:34.960 which is based in where you're going,
00:20:36.980 it seems Tamera in Manitoba and Winnipeg.
00:20:40.000 But they're continuing to spout all sorts of lies.
00:20:43.340 And one of them, again,
00:20:44.380 is that there were 51 kids that died at the school.
00:20:47.920 And in that list, there were four duplicates,
00:20:50.000 so that 47, but only again, two died.
00:20:52.900 And those that died, died largely of tuberculosis,
00:20:56.240 which is still the world's most infectious disease.
00:21:00.580 So if we want to criticize people,
00:21:02.500 you don't have to go back in time
00:21:03.860 and abused the nuns and priests that worked in residential schools, many of them giving up
00:21:08.960 everything in their lives to dedicate themselves to this responsibility.
00:21:14.360 We can look around us today, just like there still are residential schools. There are lots 0.70
00:21:19.600 of kids in the Arctic that fly to places like Yellowknife and stay in a student residence
00:21:24.740 and go to school there while they're in high school. So there's all these, to me, it's not
00:21:30.540 about it's not about indigenous schooling the goal for anyone is to try and make their schooling or
00:21:36.760 anybody's schooling as good as possible the problem is you should not lie about the past
00:21:42.120 because among other things and there's you know the arguments but the most important thing for me
00:21:46.880 is parents do not pay their taxes to have their child go to school and be told two plus two is
00:21:53.780 five right exactly that's exactly right and not only that um there is absolutely no murder scene
00:22:02.200 or suspected murder scene on the planet where they don't go in and excavate and and do that i mean
00:22:08.240 they dig up people's basements for pete's sake you know what i mean but they're not even allowed
00:22:12.780 to do that there um i think it was dallas brody's did a documentary on on this and you know that she
00:22:20.000 wasn't even allowed over there drea humphries wasn't even allowed i think there if i remember
00:22:24.120 correctly she was in that too so oh i i tried to get there i went with making your challenge
00:22:30.860 and i i went in at a time nobody was looking and i tried to get on the area where they're
00:22:37.380 they call it the sacred site and and i didn't want to do anything wrong and and so but i i just
00:22:42.780 wanted to go over and look and look in because it's it's part of downtown kamloops anyway and
00:22:49.820 within just a couple of minutes, I had three security guards on me. And I noticed that
00:22:54.920 originally this, that site where, which is the old orchard where they say there's these bodies,
00:23:00.400 there are also about 215 trees. So it may not be rocks or something. It could actually be tree
00:23:06.900 roots or more likely it is sewage tiles because they had, you know, that's where the sewage line
00:23:13.100 bed was, but it's opaque now. So you can't even from a distance look in and you can't fly a drone
00:23:23.120 over top either because that's against the federal government made that against the law. So
00:23:28.740 there's no way of seeing in on this. And the thing that upsets me is I think the First Nation there
00:23:37.300 is not responsible for this it was a you know obviously non-indigenous archaeologist who is
00:23:43.000 young and very woke who made this story up this ghost story based on things that she had heard
00:23:48.700 whatever and without any evidence and then it was the federal government and the media
00:23:54.180 without doing their basic responsibilities you got to get the truth you cannot report anything
00:24:00.540 somebody says that they were doing it somebody somebody said um one of them is you know that
00:24:06.540 queen elizabeth and prince charles were were in kamloops in 1964 and they kidnapped 10 of the
00:24:12.700 children and the children were never seen again now that shouldn't go into a newspaper like the
00:24:18.860 globe and mail and cbc without somebody doing some fact checking and that's my story my story is not
00:24:25.500 against anybody i am as patriotic and proud to be canadian as anyone in the country maybe not as
00:24:32.540 much as you too but anybody else i'll stand my ground and say don't tell me i don't love canada
00:24:38.140 and my father who was involved in framing the constitution as the turn of the time he's attorney
00:24:43.740 general of ontario and later became the chief justice of interior i have a family that love
00:24:47.740 canada i'm not against canada but a canadian value and this is what uh chris does in writing
00:24:55.020 big red truck the red big red truck is symbolic of canada that is our color he stands for you
00:25:01.180 you stand for our values and one of them is that you can't be going around and and again bearing
00:25:09.500 false witness against men and women against our ancestors without any evidence so i'm on the side
00:25:16.220 of truth i'm not against anybody i'm for letting people know that canada is not a bad place and the
00:25:23.500 immigrant children in my classrooms they're not going to lose their land they're not on stolen
00:25:29.340 land they're not where a country goes around killing indigenous children they're actually
00:25:34.440 in a good place and when they buy something the law is going to protect them now some of us have
00:25:40.360 to be sacrificed like you two for us to every once in a while reinvigorate um the populace
00:25:48.320 and understand that these these laws can't just be paper tiger that they they really have to be
00:25:53.840 something that uh that people see in real life and and i think three of us are doing that agreed
00:26:02.160 um and you've been so you've been to quite a few uh demonstrations and rallies i know with
00:26:06.800 dr francis widdowson who i'd also love to get on the show one day what a lady um and
00:26:14.480 pardon me i mean some of those encounters look look frightening um like have you ever been to
00:26:20.480 one of those where you felt like afraid for your life or afraid for your safety and i think i'm
00:26:26.080 too old to get pretty intense you know what i um yeah i was all those things more upsetting to me
00:26:32.960 is watching people like francis having her hair pulled being spat on have people blowing whistle
00:26:37.680 right in her ear um people kicking her repeatedly in the back and then the police come in and arrest
00:26:43.200 her and then the police say to me i was at a protest two days ago which are organized in in
00:26:48.720 delta bc where they have a plaque talking about the children discovered in kamloops
00:26:53.040 so i'm like frances but i'm not as tough when she was being carried away i've been with a lot of
00:26:57.600 universities she said to one point someone said you could die and she said i don't care
00:27:04.800 i don't care if i have to die for truth then that will be a good way to go out and and so this is
00:27:10.800 it's really an interesting thing because um we need to be this way and particularly for young
00:27:17.200 people we have to not just be people who tell our kids one thing and do another we have to
00:27:22.400 stand by our by our principles so just coming to the last thing i'll say here about the police
00:27:27.520 and my protest two days ago it's the same there i look at them at these events and they say oh my
00:27:32.480 gosh you've got people wearing communist outfits carrying weapons open weapons the guy one guy
00:27:38.240 who assaulted me took a hatchet a guy i mentioned his name logan i won't mention his name but um
00:27:44.160 um a guy had a hatchet on on brought out you got all these people that are there and who do they
00:27:49.920 rest they rest an old thin short professor and they carry her off and she's not seen again until
00:27:59.120 she comes out or whatever hours later from some jail but the the or police
00:28:04.640 headquarters but the amazing thing about it they say we're protecting her we're there for you guys
00:28:10.320 we're right we're enforcing the law we're for your safety yet for your safety i'm going i'm going at
00:28:17.120 ubc we had a thousand people and and they were physically moving us and and every once in a while
00:28:24.240 there was a little altercation anybody blew a whistle in my ear very closely paid a paid a
00:28:29.840 price for that and and so there was this constant thing there but the goal was of course to be
00:28:35.040 civilized and try and engage people in conversation many of them were young and just being pushed in
00:28:40.000 and then we were in a building and the police left and then they were pounding on the doors
00:28:44.640 and pounding on the windows trying to get into the building where we were that we had gone and
00:28:48.720 people can see that online so there were a thousand people and some of them were of course
00:28:52.880 probably normal young people who were just sort of caught up in the emotion and the excitement
00:28:57.440 and so we didn't really understand it but some of these people were hardcore um people who were
00:29:03.120 seditionists who hate the country who are again marxist communists um just um antifa all those
00:29:12.240 types and um but the police so we say to the police you don't care at all about these people
00:29:18.080 who are threatening others if you cared about our safety you should allow us to be on a university
00:29:23.680 campus those are the people that you should attend to but no it's us we're the ones i've
00:29:29.920 I've been thrown into police cars and into buses and so forth again for my
00:29:34.060 safety. And I said, you know, I'll protect myself.
00:29:36.520 I'll push people back or so forth, push them away.
00:29:38.780 But I'm so gentle and nice with people and, and,
00:29:41.680 and always want to be that way. And if someone hits me, punches me,
00:29:45.920 I'll say to the person, you know,
00:29:47.000 I'm just here to tell you that you maybe not understand history as well.
00:29:50.360 Some of us here do. Right.
00:29:52.200 So it's, it's really awful when the Canadian military,
00:29:56.200 military, particularly when you think of, again, this is Canadian history of the mounted police
00:30:02.080 and how important they were in creating Canada, to see them used as tools right now for the worst
00:30:09.640 elements in society and for the virtuous signaling elite, the tribal society that know this is all
00:30:15.900 a lie, all these things are a lie, and yet they're doing it because they want to say, oh, look what
00:30:22.000 I've done for this group or that group. So it's just sad that the police have taken a side in
00:30:27.060 Kamloops. They've never dug. They've never investigated. Five and a half years later.
00:30:33.480 Yeah, exactly. It sounds like the EA. Well, I mean, we've talked about this, obviously,
00:30:38.600 with guests on our show before, but, you know, we've gone to a society where we are protecting
00:30:43.920 the criminals and vilifying the victims, whether you're talking about your case, whether you're
00:30:49.760 talking about sexual assaults that are you know running rampant in canada right now uh the
00:30:55.080 gentleman in uh manitoba that was just arrested for you know protecting his property he was also
00:31:03.040 arrested for protecting his property from thieves that went on to his onto his land so you know
00:31:07.220 canada's gone from a country that protects its vulnerable um to a country that protects the
00:31:13.760 criminals and vilifies the victims did you guys hear the story in ontario i believe it was in
00:31:19.320 Ontario in the Brantford somebody can correct me in the comments yet a Sikh man home invaders three
00:31:24.440 three people busted into his house his family was there they took them down the whole family in the
00:31:28.320 basement and in in the result of that is his son was shot and killed in front of him and he wrestled
00:31:34.220 the weapon away from one of the intruders and he shot one of the intruders and the other two or
00:31:39.300 three ran away he's now charged with murder yeah that's incredible this is our country and the
00:31:46.960 crown prosecutors are okay oh i know our crown prosecutors are too far gone to save after what
00:31:52.120 we've witnessed throughout our trial and our and our procedures in the last number of years but
00:31:55.920 this is absolutely disgusting and vile and i don't know how we continue to go down this road without
00:32:01.260 people saying hey i'm okay with this this is canada now we're so complacent and compliant and
00:32:06.340 come on well i see uh hadam has showed up so this is great i just want to quickly uh congratulations
00:32:14.920 I think it's great news that the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms has your back, Jim, as they have had hours.
00:32:21.680 They, you know, they're they're amazing, an amazing organization.
00:32:25.300 So I'll just read a bit of this article.
00:32:27.380 This was a July 28th news release announcing the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms have filed a petition for judicial review in the Supreme Court of British Columbia on behalf of former high school teacher Jim McMurtry.
00:32:42.020 the petition asks the court to review a label labor relations board decision after mr mcmurtry's
00:32:48.780 union declined to challenge his dismissal arguing that the board failed to consider his charter
00:32:54.020 right to freedom of expression um and we don't need to get into that so without further ado
00:32:59.580 let us bring on hadham to uh let us know what's happening with your case so great to see you
00:33:06.760 Hi Chris, Jamiro, Jim, good to see you all.
00:33:09.760 Good to see you.
00:33:10.760 Welcome.
00:33:11.760 Welcome.
00:33:12.760 Thanks for joining us.
00:33:13.760 Thanks for having me on.
00:33:14.760 Absolutely.
00:33:15.760 Well, Adam, I just want to give a huge shout out to the JCCF,
00:33:18.760 yet again, the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms.
00:33:20.760 They have been standing behind us since day one throughout our trial
00:33:23.760 and our ordeals, and an amazing organization.
00:33:27.760 I'm just so happy that you were able to help join,
00:33:31.760 and especially help out Jim with his case right now.
00:33:33.760 So tell us a little bit about it.
00:33:36.560 yeah and uh just you know right back to you guys and really all our clients we can't do what we do
00:33:41.600 uh without people who are willing to uh be at the front line of things but um in terms of jim's case
00:33:48.160 uh it raises an issue that actually affects a pretty large swath of the workforce in canada
00:33:55.600 because a large chunk of canadian employees are unionized and a large chunk of those people are
00:34:00.640 public sector employees uh so in that case their employer is the government which means it owes
00:34:06.720 them charter rights and it can violate them but under uh the way labor law works pretty much
00:34:13.680 across canada um well no across canada unions are in control of the grievance process so if a person
00:34:21.840 uh gets fired or or if there's some other issue with the employer the union is in is in the
00:34:27.760 driver's seat when it comes to deciding to take the matter to arbitration or any other significant
00:34:33.840 decisions relating to to that grievance and then in the case uh excluding for a moment uh federal
00:34:41.520 employees uh if the in if the union decides that it doesn't think there's a case here or it doesn't
00:34:48.320 want to take the case to arbitration uh that could be the end of the road for people they're they're
00:34:53.760 not able to take their case forward and argue their charter rights the only avenue left available
00:35:00.080 to them which is what jim did is to bring uh an application to the labor relations board but
00:35:07.760 they're they're looking at it through a very narrow lens they're they're only looking to
00:35:12.480 add they're only asking whether a union was arbitrary uh acted in bad faith or it was
00:35:19.520 discriminatory um and so if it didn't commit one of those very specific errors the labor board uh
00:35:29.520 as it did in jim's case will decline to do anything uh and that can leave someone simply
00:35:34.720 high and dry when it comes to having their charter rights violated right with no way to fight back
00:35:40.240 then exactly well so you know unless unless you have come across an organization like you guys
00:35:45.440 that are willing to that are willing to to help out well what we're hoping to do is to we're
00:35:51.280 asking the court to step in and and find that this this setup it creates the it creates a recipe to
00:35:58.960 have charter rights violated without a remedy so um people are uh you know familiar to some extent
00:36:06.400 with the fact that we have a charter of rights and you know it guarantees rights to things like
00:36:09.680 freedom of expression religion and so on um but then after it sets out all those rights it then
00:36:14.800 says that if you have your right violated you can apply to a court for a remedy so you also have a
00:36:22.320 right to a remedy for having your charter rights violated uh and so that's what we're that's what
00:36:28.160 we're raising in this case we're saying that the labor board needs to uh needs to be given
00:36:34.640 the jurisdiction to be able to impose a remedy that will allow jim and others in situations like
00:36:42.000 him to bring their their case forward uh with or without the union's representation
00:36:50.560 wow so yeah i mean that's going to be precedent setting then i guess going forward to for other
00:36:56.640 people that end up in a similar situation and the way canada is going you guys could be very busy
00:37:02.240 for a long time uh yeah for better or for worse there's no shortage uh no shortage of cases coming
00:37:09.520 their way but um in this case in particular uh like i said there's this is labor law across
00:37:15.920 canada uh every provincial labor code is pretty similar and uh they certainly are the same in
00:37:23.160 this respect that they they create this setup where the union is in complete control of whether
00:37:27.480 or not to bring a case forward um and and so the uh you know success in this case would have
00:37:35.560 precedent that could ripple across Canada and affect anyone who is a unionized employee of a
00:37:41.880 government body. Right. Wow. I think unions started to show their true colors through COVID,
00:37:48.520 especially too, right? When they didn't stand behind any of their employees and the right to,
00:37:53.000 you know, bodily autonomy, right? That was a big indicator for me when I watched that happening.
00:37:58.280 well it raises an important uh problem which is that when it comes to um when it comes to these
00:38:06.320 hot button political issues uh which you know usually if a person's having their charter rights
00:38:11.580 violated it's going to engage something something controversial rights are rights are there to
00:38:17.940 protect the little guy so there's probably going to be some sort of uh uh broader maybe political
00:38:26.020 disagreement or ideological disagreement and when a union is offside it basically means that someone
00:38:34.100 you know again if it's a freedom of expression issue someone who disagrees with you is now
00:38:39.060 holding the keys to you being able to even make your case to someone that you've had your rights
00:38:44.900 violated yeah that's incredible well i mean i know uh from personal experience chris and i both know
00:38:52.900 how slow the court system moves do you guys have like a timeline do you have any indication you
00:38:59.140 know when this will be heard heard yet no no no hearing date yet um it should move relatively
00:39:06.500 quickly like you know not fast court court quick but um it's not going to be a trial or a hearing
00:39:13.140 so there's no no 40 days of uh of court time that's good uh yeah the evidence will be exchanged
00:39:19.380 by affidavit uh and then um and then we'll be able to have a hearing day uh before the court
00:39:25.860 gotcha oh great i see we uh we have we have the legend in the house this morning or to the south
00:39:32.740 this evening francis is in the comment section right now university of lothbridge september 11th
00:39:39.380 for everyone in the last september 1st with an exclamation mark okay gotcha there you go
00:39:45.540 you got it yeah september 4th great to see you dr widowson we were just talking about uh we'd
00:39:50.180 love to have you on the show at some point too so um i will be reaching out to you um that would
00:39:56.420 be amazing yeah september university of lethbridge september 1st dr widowson was just there i think
00:40:02.260 not long ago and was arrested yeah you go ahead yeah chris always gets people coming up to his
00:40:10.500 truck knocking on his window wanted to shake his hand or get a picture with him and stuff it's
00:40:14.980 constant can't take that guy anywhere um will you be going to that are you going to the to the
00:40:23.060 university of lethbridge on the first uh jim uh no no i live in vancouver and it's a it's a bit of a
00:40:30.260 hard bit of a distance for me to go but the uh but i'll be with her in spirit she's an amazing lady
00:40:37.220 well she's going there with a mission arrest me university of lethbridge
00:40:40.660 well good luck out there dr widowson my goodness um wow yeah the similarity between um francis my
00:40:51.580 isn't and cases isn't just about you know the 215 and so forth it's that both of us um are with
00:40:58.760 unions now her union has changed and supporting her but what you find in the union movement is
00:41:04.780 an awful lot of people who subscribe obviously to what they call critical social justice theory
00:41:10.040 and we knew that in the 80s and 90s is political correctness and then it became different names
00:41:15.800 maybe in the 60s it began as deconstructionism but really what it is is that there's something
00:41:20.880 wrong with all our institutions and all of us and we need to as you know to literally deconstruct
00:41:26.460 and rebuild and um so um i'd love it had him to speak more to this but to me part of the problem
00:41:34.280 was that i didn't feel i ever might um had said earlier about the fact that you know unions aren't
00:41:40.600 supposed to be biased and arbitrary and and in bad faith and so forth but to me my union this is me
00:41:47.320 i'm as a lay person my union always was not because it it meant to to violate the law but because it's
00:41:55.160 it's whole raison d'etre isn't about education anymore and i think that's true of the school
00:42:00.840 system i really think indoctrination is is a bigger play and and meaning that there's so much
00:42:07.980 attention on and the in the flags that are in the classrooms where the kids pronouns are kids
00:42:14.700 talking about their sexuality understanding race affects everything of seeing canada only in a
00:42:21.400 negative lens uh you can't read literature anymore because because there might be a bad word or some
00:42:27.800 some group might not be well represented in in some part of the book it's just such an assault
00:42:34.000 on on what education was so i i don't think my union began its defense with me with much spirit
00:42:42.320 and again because in the old days it did in the old days teachers unions were made up of the
00:42:48.320 toughest people who really looked out for workers rights but i think they'd been bitten by the by the
00:42:54.960 this woke virus, whatever you want to call it, and now see that they're social engineering
00:43:01.960 and not really focused on professional rights for teachers or what's best for children.
00:43:09.300 Well, I mean, I think a lot of, I think it's been going on in the education system for a long time,
00:43:14.960 honestly. And I remember my children pushing back against their teachers in school because
00:43:20.640 they were raised in a very conservative home. So when it would come to things like climate change,
00:43:24.960 uh the climate change narrative or different things you know my kids were always the one
00:43:28.480 that we were pushing back but i mean it's definitely definitely ramped up since the
00:43:32.080 pandemic i think and we've talked um at length on the show about how how covid was basically
00:43:38.480 the great purge i mean anybody that was in any of these institutions that had a backbone that would
00:43:44.560 push back um like yourself um was you know released terminated from their positions or
00:43:51.840 wouldn't didn't get hired back after the pandemic came so it's been a it's been a complete purge
00:43:56.920 of uh critical thinkers in all of our institutions and they're you know they're just left with a
00:44:03.320 bunch of people that are just gonna say yes ma'am no ma'am thank you sir you know so i mean that's
00:44:09.560 a huge problem and and with the unions like this too i mean this has to be rectified or else you're
00:44:16.380 not going to get that influx of those educators back into the system to start actually teaching
00:44:22.480 education i mean i don't think it's anybody's business what a child's sexuality is um when i
00:44:29.200 was in elementary school and i mean i didn't want to i didn't even know about it i didn't want to
00:44:33.540 talk about it i just wanted to play on the monkey bars with my friends you know i didn't want to
00:44:37.600 have that sort of stuff shoved down our throats you know what i mean so yeah this is the culture
00:44:44.560 we're living in right now i just had a little visit i thought i parked part of the part of the
00:44:48.720 spot of the truck stop here where i was on the site but i wasn't clearly wasn't so
00:44:53.760 that happens you're famous you're just too famous i think the government made us
00:45:00.000 anyways we need to be so so what's what's next i missed a little bit there but guys what's what's
00:45:05.440 next like the court hearings coming up is there rooms for appeal are you you're going to appeal
00:45:09.840 as to the supreme court of british columbia uh yeah so right now the petition is being made to
00:45:15.040 the supreme court of british columbia and uh we we've sort of we've put in our petition and so
00:45:21.360 now we're going to wait for the other parties to make their responses and then uh you know once we
00:45:28.160 get that we can go to an exchange of legal arguments and uh and then set a hearing date yeah
00:45:35.280 excellent have we put the link up for the gccf yet i just want to make sure everybody knows this
00:45:39.200 there's there's a few organizations in this country right now that are actually good job
00:45:48.000 it's okay okay yes if anyone wants to help support the justice center for constitutional freedoms
00:45:53.200 you can go to www.jccf.ca donate and you can also go to jccf.ca and check out all the cases that
00:46:02.320 these guys are helping with um jim's jim's is also listed on there um so go have a peek
00:46:08.480 um help support them chris and i obviously cannot say enough about the jccf and how they've helped
00:46:14.400 us and not just us but so many canadians uh i i don't know where chris and i would be and others
00:46:20.080 if it wouldn't have been for uh the justice center coming in basically nice and shining armor
00:46:26.880 if uh if someone listening thinks they have a case you can also go to jccf.ca and yes submit
00:46:34.800 your case and and see if maybe there's something we can help you with because again we can't do
00:46:38.960 what we do without uh people who are uh are getting in trouble with with various government
00:46:47.200 we still have more stuff on the glue with the gccf like a lot of people think that tamara's case is
00:46:51.280 over uh most people know that we're we're facing our appeals next year for uh for from the crown
00:46:57.120 prosecutor as well as our appeals that we we put in place as well the justice center is helping me
00:47:01.760 personally with that that endeavor and then we have the 290 million dollar lawsuit right now from
00:47:06.880 citizens of ottawa against tamara myself and other key organizers and the justice center is sponsoring
00:47:12.560 us on that as well too so the justice center operates on donations it's a not-for-profit uh
00:47:18.320 you need to go to the gccf and donate what you can to keep these stories going and keep these
00:47:22.720 people in the fight because without people donating we're in some serious trouble right now
00:47:28.000 yeah that's right that's how that's what enables them to do what they do well how do i promise i
00:47:33.440 wasn't going to keep you for very long um and especially because i got a hold of you on such
00:47:38.080 short notice thank you for making yourself available um i want i just want to come on
00:47:43.120 make sure that we weren't letting jim say anything that he shouldn't be saying
00:47:48.320 And I'd just like on air, if I may quickly just say how wonderful Adam has been to me.
00:47:54.320 And people say all the time to me, oh, sue them, sue them.
00:48:00.140 And, you know, rights aren't something that just sort of drop from a tree and all you have to do is carry them around.
00:48:06.820 It's very expensive and it's hard to do without the expertise and you're not taken seriously.
00:48:12.840 So I am incredibly indebted to people like Adam.
00:48:16.680 I appreciate that.
00:48:18.320 all right okay adam go all right thank you thank you for coming thanks for coming on good night
00:48:25.500 you guys uh i had the absolute pleasure of getting to know him somewhat during the poec he was one
00:48:32.160 of the lawyers that came out for the jccf when we were out in ottawa for those two and a half months
00:48:38.480 um so yeah you're in good hands you're in good hands jim they have some amazing lawyers there
00:48:44.520 know james manson is one of our people that's looking at between him and chris flurry who are
00:48:48.520 looking after and helping us with with lawsuits right now as well as there's been so many like
00:48:53.960 john carpe runs a heck of an organization there we've met a lot of the lawyers we go to the the
00:48:58.120 functions once a year they have the george jonas awards and francis was one of the recipients of
00:49:03.400 that last year so we got to meet her that was last year when we were all free right
00:49:08.440 yeah yeah that was no that was last year yeah okay okay yeah candace's this year right candace's
00:49:17.700 this year yes um i opened the door of my truck to chat there and i think about 15 000 fruit flies or
00:49:23.360 whatever they are some black mites just flew right in the cab and they want to hang around
00:49:27.260 with me and zippy right now so apologize if i'm waving my hands around but these little things 0.97
00:49:32.220 are annoying so it's all good i spent much of my career trying to to be a successful teacher
00:49:39.260 you don't know listen to the administration says you really need to go out of the box you need to
00:49:44.020 be entertaining and fun and and unpredictable and ironic and and respectful and and anyhow just
00:49:50.580 you got to be you and then the kids kind of find something about you that they can really identify
00:49:55.660 with if you're real and another teacher will be a little bit different but it's not good to have
00:50:00.180 all teachers the same um one thing that's part of my shtick is that i tell a lot of jokes people
00:50:06.440 call them dad jokes now and particularly you know against certain groups like lawyers and yet that
00:50:13.940 the more the more i have gone through this case the number of lawyers that i have met who my gosh
00:50:21.640 the commitment is entirely because they've already been in a position where they you know they're
00:50:27.680 comfortable financially and they're doing well and they think you're retiring when they have
00:50:32.040 to do another. But there's so many of them that really see themselves in a helping profession.
00:50:38.560 Yeah. And I, and I, so I think this should be a big shout out to, to all lawyers because it's,
00:50:44.540 it's, it's, um, I think it's a big group of people who are looking out, looking out for
00:50:48.980 the rights. If you feel that your rights have been abused or whatever, if you're a widow,
00:50:53.400 who's out of an estate or whatever it is you just can't do it on your own um so they play an
00:51:00.240 incredibly important role and and just how good it feels as a little person and um to all of a
00:51:07.320 sudden to against these big institutions against the government my big regulatory body this union
00:51:13.360 which is one of the biggest in canada and then this huge school district and i'm just going oh
00:51:19.360 my gosh what am i going to do and they're all saying things that aren't true about me
00:51:22.180 And then all of a sudden, you know, the JCCF comes up to me and the shoes on the other foot.
00:51:29.100 All of a sudden they're getting the letters.
00:51:31.920 They're being told by this date, you have to answer this.
00:51:36.300 You're being served.
00:51:38.940 And it's just a wonderful, they talk about in the school system about equity, which, and they don't mean equity because it's all inverted terms.
00:51:47.780 but but if they really cared about equity but and the original sense of the word of justice and so
00:51:52.820 forth they would be you know they would they would darn it they would care about the fact
00:51:58.120 that they're crushing little people these institutions yeah and so without lawyers
00:52:03.940 how can we fight back oh okay it's well yeah i never imagined that i would have so many lawyers
00:52:13.300 in my life um and you know i grew up you know there are people always joke about them you know
00:52:18.260 what's the the only good lawyer is a whatever lawyer anyways but you know uh we've we've had
00:52:24.340 we've been really really lucky you know really really lucky to have the lawyers that we've had
00:52:28.420 i mean look at the j it was the jccf that flew into ottawa keith wilson was contracting uh for
00:52:33.940 them at that point of a chip yuck um you know there was uh i think five that flew in for the
00:52:40.740 first few days and then three of them headed back home um but then of course through through our
00:52:45.940 lawsuits uh our various lawsuits and so so i agree you know i think um i feel very blessed to have
00:52:53.620 the ones in my life i'm sure there's bad ones out there but there's bad there's good and bad
00:52:57.540 everywhere and in all things and i feel like you know chris and i for sure have been very blessed
00:53:02.820 to have some of the best lawyers in this country working with us on on all these cases so and just
00:53:10.100 can i say one more thing against the institutions that are adversarial what about the kids so you
00:53:16.660 remove a teacher exactly like me no i think you've heard me speak long enough to know that i don't
00:53:23.300 come across as a monster i know my subject well i did all these extra things for kids i was always
00:53:29.380 after school doing stuff on weekends i just you know i was i was good at what i did and then they
00:53:35.780 take me away and and they think oh we is tamara said earlier but we purge the system because
00:53:41.460 that's what critical social justice is it's about a purge it's a religious thing the woke wokeism
00:53:47.060 is a cult it's a religion you know it's masquerading as a religion or maybe something
00:53:52.260 is social justice but it's it's a religion and it's about control and dominance and making sure
00:53:56.820 people at the top have ever more money and power and maybe all the land chris talked about our
00:54:01.860 premier in bc earlier and you weren't all that flattering about but evie thank you so much he
00:54:07.860 wants to give bc away he's from ontario comes to bc gives it all away and and this is going
00:54:14.340 to cause a civil war um and um so but just bringing it down to the fact you you invited a
00:54:21.300 school teacher on and and i'm not a i'm not a big shot francis is more of a big shot get her on and
00:54:29.220 smartest can be and toughest can be but but i'm but i matter in this way i matter to my students
00:54:35.860 yes if not all teachers are great either well you said but many are that i had students that
00:54:42.740 were really attracted to me because among other things i tell them the truth i give them the
00:54:47.220 goods right i didn't lie to them i didn't i didn't play games and that's what they want to know about
00:54:52.340 history or about about anything in life and yet you get in trouble the moment you move toward
00:54:59.060 truth and away from the script and this is such an injustice to canada and it's such an injustice
00:55:05.780 to young people and darn it nobody in can among all these institutions from trudeau and carney
00:55:13.140 all the way down carney even he's abandoned his own father rejected his own father who was the
00:55:18.420 leading expert for a time in indian residential schools robert carney dr robert carney at the
00:55:23.700 university of alberta he said oh i love my father but you know i don't you know not don't like his
00:55:29.540 views um and i'm going my gosh the everybody in canada has to stop and say and demand that all
00:55:37.940 these people that lied to kids in school millions of kids across canada about teachers murdering
00:55:44.100 murray sinclair who got an order of canada said 25 000 or more children are murdered and missing
00:55:50.740 if that's not true and there's no evidence that there's a single one
00:55:55.000 kids need to be told and more importantly for me teachers who tell to you kids the the gospel
00:56:04.460 truth who just say kids well this is my understanding that's my ability and i always
00:56:08.780 start like that i i'm no wizard but i always say it's my understanding that you shouldn't get rid 0.97
00:56:14.980 of the people tamir as you said so brilliantly a few minutes ago the teachers that think
00:56:20.300 critically. Otherwise, you're going to put kids in an environment where there's just going to be
00:56:26.000 stultifying emotional rubber room. You can't see this and you can't see that. You can't move this
00:56:31.240 way. You can't move that way. You might jostle somebody. And it's just this idea that kids
00:56:35.900 aren't going to be able to survive in this world if they're coddled to this extent.
00:56:41.980 I guess the thing is, you know, I thought I've always believed that education was obviously
00:56:47.160 to educate but it was also to teach children how to think critically how to ask questions what
00:56:54.420 questions to ask you know to seek the truth and now we've gone into this thing where we don't
00:56:59.380 want them asking any questions that we just want to dictate to them tell them one side of the story
00:57:04.400 and if you question it well then you end up kicked out of school or fired or in jail you know like we
00:57:11.780 want our kids to grow up and be and push back and and think for themselves and ask tough questions
00:57:18.180 well see it's the conditioning society is it not this is what canada is now the conditioning of
00:57:24.380 society you follow the narrative that the government sets forth if you go against that
00:57:29.200 narrative we will destroy you we will use the the system like you've said before tamara the system
00:57:33.960 that was established to protect canadians is now being used against canadians anyone that dares to
00:57:39.940 go against the narrative yeah exactly and the narrative that's the most important and i know
00:57:44.940 people associate my story with having to do with history and so on but the most important thing
00:57:50.320 isn't my issue at all is being a teacher in the school system in the last 10 years 0.80
00:57:54.760 and seeing little children sitting on the labs in school of drag queens who are being aroused
00:58:01.980 while this was happening and my the high school i taught in surrey had drag queen performances
00:58:07.920 and they didn't tell the parents i mean it's just it's dark and it's concealed um but the worst of
00:58:14.520 all and i think of my good friend barry neufeld a school trustee in show black british columbia
00:58:20.260 and run out of out of well run he's in a you know he's got three huge settlements against him
00:58:26.940 meaning costs against him the last one being for over 750 000 the worst thing is happening in
00:58:35.080 schools in our society is that they're taking children and convincing them that they're in the
00:58:39.660 wrong body. It's largely girls. And there are an awful lot of, there's hundreds and hundreds of 1.00
00:58:45.120 mastectomies, maybe 600, hard to know exactly, every year in Canada of girls being cut because
00:58:52.580 there's criminal Mengele-like adults in the school system who are saying to them, well,
00:59:00.360 you're vulnerable, you're not fitting in, you don't have any friends, you're not doing well
00:59:03.900 school you don't have much money your mom and dad are fighting you whatever it is all these things 0.97
00:59:08.220 here's a solution yeah change yourself change your gender be sterile for life and then do bottom 0.76
00:59:15.100 surgery afterwards and and and never know what it's like to have children or what it's like to 0.94
00:59:21.500 have an orgasm i mean this is just the most cruel thing to do and so thank you for having me on your
00:59:28.620 show not so much frankly because of my issues i'm going to hammer those issues away and i've 0.94
00:59:33.340 I've got Francis on my side and Dallas Brody and others.
00:59:37.300 But the issue of taking advantage of children sexually.
00:59:41.960 And I posted today about a school in Nanaimo school district that are still out on this all across Canada.
00:59:48.820 They're still asking kindergarten kids for their pronouns.
00:59:52.140 And there's two things about that.
00:59:53.700 They're wanting to know a four or five year old's gender identity.
00:59:57.440 How do you see yourself?
00:59:58.480 I know I can see you're a boy, but how do you see yourself?
01:00:01.860 And the second thing they're doing is you're prying into a child, a four or five-year-old's sexuality or sexual thoughts, which hopefully aren't there, but they're trying to create.
01:00:12.920 And so I represent among, forget me, I'll probably never work you and I'll probably never anything again.
01:00:19.720 But in the time that I'm given, and in this show right now, because you see that I've got a lot to say, is that we can't afford to allow any longer these woke cultists to do what they're doing to their school.
01:00:36.460 And we can't allow people in our institutions or elitists to take away fundamental freedoms, the right to gather and protest and speak what's your mind and defend workers as you did so honorably.
01:00:47.140 yeah you know what i've noticed too and there's just another thing aspect to that right now i
01:00:52.040 don't know if you follow lawrence a bird of proud dad in uh in alberta he's in the calgary area what
01:00:57.860 he's in alberta was he designed a website for concerned parents in with it with children in
01:01:03.640 the school system if they have concerns about woke teachers indoctrinating their children
01:01:08.860 they can go anonymously to this website and they can and they can make a report and then what
01:01:13.500 lawrence is going to do is and tabulate those reports and those numbers and feed them to the
01:01:17.560 education minister the backlash that he has received from the alberta uh teachers federation
01:01:24.220 or whatever the name of it is is absolutely horrible the amount of threats he's had upon
01:01:28.820 himself the doxing that he's subject to you know you're flying over the target when you're taking 0.86
01:01:34.640 the most amount of flack that can't be true that can't be true chris because they're the most
01:01:39.700 tolerant loving and inclusive group in canada right so i i i think you must be pulling our leg
01:01:47.540 here there's some serious issues and what we need to get back to in schools is education
01:01:55.700 yeah no space for hate we need to get back to that and and when they're saying about a trans
01:02:00.500 kid if i had a trans kid in the classroom which is about one out of you know one other 50 000 kids
01:02:06.500 who's really gender dysphoric or whatever i would be so good to that kid as other teachers would be
01:02:12.260 but the reality those kids are almost never i've never had one truly like that i've had many that
01:02:17.700 have been pushed into changing transitioning and they're always saying well we have to respect them
01:02:22.900 and we have to care about them it's just like we have to care about the noise for the people in
01:02:27.220 ottawa uh during your protest and going well what about what about everybody else that is just being
01:02:33.380 tyrannized by by these covert regulations at the high school is that i was written up because i
01:02:39.620 was wearing a face mask instead of a face blocker instead of a mask i was told it was okay but i
01:02:45.860 they still made it an allegation and you know reported on me and so kids had to walk in the
01:02:50.900 hall and specific ways you couldn't drink in a water fountain there was no water at school
01:02:55.700 because uh you know just you had to bring the water and bottom of you didn't you didn't drink
01:02:59.940 all day and and my my grandchildren they go by a park and there'd be nobody at the park
01:03:05.700 and and and they step past the tape that was around it and and you know people say i'm gonna
01:03:10.260 call the police on you the kids too has nothing to do and so this is people this is all interrelated
01:03:17.460 they're they're after yes government is overreaching and it has to stop yeah 100 well
01:03:25.380 Well, we need to protect our children.
01:03:27.820 We do.
01:03:28.560 We do.
01:03:30.080 I'm thankful my children are growing up and they're out of the school system, to be honest with you.
01:03:33.900 I'm very thankful for that.
01:03:35.060 But what you fear for next is the potential for grandchildren that are going to be even heavily more into it than what my children were.
01:03:41.360 I raised a couple of good kids.
01:03:42.940 They fought the system.
01:03:43.780 My son, Jonathan, was very active against pushing the boundaries when he felt something wasn't being taught properly.
01:03:50.780 one was the indoctrination over the the 2000 what was it when did trump run the first time
01:03:55.160 in the states against hillary clinton 2016 2016 yeah the the amount of uh teachers in the wokeness
01:04:01.440 would push the pro-democrat uh agenda on canadian students in our in a in a country that wasn't in
01:04:07.920 the united states was sickening so what my son did then was the screen was his life's laptop
01:04:12.960 screensaver was trump 2020 well here's a horrifying story chris if i may uh yeah that i have seven
01:04:23.280 grandchildren oh and um and one and and so one parent was telling me um at her with her younger
01:04:32.400 child um who's the same age as my two-year-old grandchild was in a pride parade at daycare so
01:04:39.760 the kids dressed up and tried it but they're after two-year-olds wow catching me up indoctrination
01:04:47.680 conditioning they don't even know a two-year-old can't even talk yet let alone understand what
01:04:54.000 even any of that means the children need to go to school and learn the basic education math
01:04:58.960 science history where did that go and i know this for i was married to a school teacher my
01:05:06.000 my my two children's mother is actually not the my wife now uh it was still an amazing relationship
01:05:11.360 but she was a 30-year teacher uh um in in the school division and and i watched the trials and
01:05:16.960 tribulations that she went through as a teacher and the amount that was forced on her so it was
01:05:22.240 it was tough to watch yeah wow oh and just one other example give me the hook any second but
01:05:28.960 you'll love this example there was a teacher i was talking the other day who's sorry an education
01:05:33.760 assistant so a helping teacher in the classroom and they were asking her and this is um in the
01:05:40.000 i should mention the school district a lot of people are after me but at best to in case you
01:05:48.480 stopped they want her to wear it in the classroom because she's working with a boy who who has a
01:05:54.560 tendency to grab things like scissors and stab people now you would think the smart thing to do
01:06:00.000 would be remove that boy from the class to protect the other kids and the teacher and the education
01:06:05.680 assistant in the classroom but but no that child has rights and and and so this is this this is it
01:06:13.520 and it's not it's all virtue signaling it's just the the people who run the school system they're
01:06:18.400 all about how can i climb higher up the pay scale and so when people get mad at the school system
01:06:24.400 what they do i'm going to talk to the principal i'm going to talk to the superintendent i'm going
01:06:27.680 to talk to the minister of education and i keep saying those are the people you don't talk to
01:06:33.120 right who are building their career on on doing this on manipulating children and bringing in 0.66
01:06:38.080 drag queens and getting kids to change their private parts so yeah this is what's so interesting
01:06:43.600 the people in canada don't understand who the enemy is that's right yeah well i think some of
01:06:50.800 us do but unfortunately jim uh i think most people don't they're too focused on hating uh
01:06:56.480 the president of the united states and blaming him for all of our problems unfortunately do you
01:07:01.120 know how many sorry chris i just wanted to bring this up uh yes the scarlet lesson um that came
01:07:09.200 out uh last year i think was it not the scarlet lesson by jim mcmurtry uh with a forward by
01:07:15.520 conrad black sir conrad black isn't it isn't he yes i think he's a sir i think he was knighted at
01:07:21.200 one point but anyway someone more distinguished also wrote in my book tamara that's right yes
01:07:30.160 that's right i did put a thing in there yes i did yes so uh that's one way that you can support jim
01:07:36.640 you can head to amazon and pick up the scarlet lesson there by jim mcmurtry um i did go through
01:07:43.440 some of the banners if you you can find you can find jim on substack i would highly recommend you
01:07:49.920 you check him out there because he does a lot of writing about well all of the
01:07:52.860 things that we've been talking about here tonight and much more you can find
01:07:56.380 him on X he is on X at Jim McMurtry oh one Jim McMurtry calm is his website what
01:08:04.560 kind of things can they find on on your website Jim well lots of stuff and you
01:08:09.840 talked about Dallas Brody's one BC movie making a killing I think it's something
01:08:13.800 every Canadian should watch yeah so there's there's lots of stuff articles
01:08:19.120 books and so forth. But I think mostly, Tamara, it's just me. It's just a guy who was given a
01:08:27.100 choice. And the lawyers in my family said to me over five years ago, keep quiet. You're more
01:08:34.980 likely to win some money. You'll get your job back. It might be a long many years. And I couldn't do
01:08:41.060 that. I couldn't be abused anymore. And I ended up going, people said, go see a therapist because
01:08:47.800 that's help you with you know getting a reward one day they show the damage they've done to you
01:08:53.160 and i resisted and eventually did go because i started realizing that i wasn't in a good way
01:08:58.040 and the first thing the therapist said and women from from africa said to me was you should fight
01:09:04.700 back that's the best therapy and so so my story if i had to sum it up what it is just simply
01:09:12.300 someone in the school system who's wanting more people to do what i did which is you know these
01:09:17.240 things are wrong, you just have to say, no, enough. I'm not going to do that. I'm not going
01:09:23.280 to burn literature. I'm not going to say that Canada's ancestors were all racist, horrible, 0.96
01:09:30.800 horrible people who did this to this group and that to that group. No, I think that most Canadians
01:09:38.360 don't need to be convinced by me of anything. I think most Canadians have a very good understanding.
01:09:44.420 that's what you were just saying they know but but we're but we need to replace our elites
01:09:50.420 trying to lawyer attorney lawyer leasability says that we need to replace our elites in canada
01:09:55.460 because you can't change them no and they don't want to change the way of thinking they're they're
01:10:00.820 they've profited too much by these lies well in these parts of the woods we call that holding the
01:10:08.980 line which which means staying strong and standing strong in the face of adversity and you know
01:10:17.140 that's that's what we're all doing like you started off the show Jim saying um you know how how it's
01:10:23.060 important to you know we've our opinions and our attitudes have never shifted from five years ago
01:10:29.220 you know Chris and I are still well I don't know if we're still the same people I mean we've
01:10:33.600 definitely changed in some ways i think but overall you know we still believe in what we did
01:10:39.480 um as you know you've heard me say before i'm sure you know i i i have no remorse do we feel
01:10:45.120 bad that some people in ottawa were inconvenienced by horn honking of course we were but what about
01:10:49.500 the other millions of people across canada that were taking their own lives you know and that's
01:10:54.380 why i told my lawyer i will never apologize i will for the people that got their jobs back the
01:10:59.220 people that are still with us today the people that got to go kiss their mothers before they
01:11:02.840 died in the hospital i'm not going to apologize for honking horns and making a big inconvenience
01:11:09.160 um and because we didn't scare them it was their own government their own police force
01:11:14.680 their municipal government that would and the media that were scaring the out of those
01:11:19.240 people telling them that an angry mob was coming to ottawa which obviously is not
01:11:23.400 further couldn't be further from the truth control the messaging and you control the
01:11:28.520 narrative key point with the government of canada right now all levels yeah absolutely there's a
01:11:35.000 lag i know there's a lag but chris get interrupted a good amount oh no did i am i cutting you off
01:11:40.680 again i there's there's probably a lag in me so guys i i just pulled in the truck yeah i'm gonna
01:11:47.400 you gotta rock and roll yep you go do what you gotta do i'm gonna say goodbye to jim chris drive
01:11:52.200 safe home and i'll talk to you later keep doing what you're doing my friend you are uh you're
01:12:03.000 standing on the right side of the history so i appreciate you even being here and taking the
01:12:06.920 time with us tonight thank you very much thank you and bye everyone chris bye oopsie he took himself
01:12:16.600 off uh anyways jim we're definitely going to get you back i want to hear how you know all this
01:12:22.780 progresses and i just want to talk to you some more actually you know we talked a bit about your
01:12:26.440 case but you've got a lot to say about the education system too and i'd really like to
01:12:30.560 dive into that some more too so uh if you're if you're willing and able we'll we'd love to have
01:12:35.760 you back and um of course we wish you all the best uh going forward and uh go out and get his book
01:12:42.380 run out and get the book and support him in any way you can also support um his his case with the
01:12:48.060 jccf or his petition at the bc supreme court with the jccf and you can head to jccf.ca if you wish
01:12:54.540 to donate to help to help them out also so jim um thank you so much for joining us and i hope you
01:13:00.840 enjoy the rest of your night and we'll talk to you again very soon thank you so much my deepest
01:13:05.380 pleasure take care well okay everybody uh thank you so much for joining us i guess i didn't say
01:13:14.480 it at the top of the show but if you haven't already please like and give this a share and
01:13:18.920 subscribe we're trying to get our little channel to grow uh and we are growing and uh chris and i
01:13:24.560 you know talk often about how completely blessed we are to have a platform where we can have guests
01:13:28.960 like jim definitely we need to get dr widowson on at some point i would love to have her on
01:13:33.620 um and some you know fairly uh controversial ish uh type subjects and uh but we we're so grateful
01:13:42.020 to have a place where we can give them a voice and help share their stories so um i just want
01:13:47.040 to say thank you to all you guys also for for tuning in again please give us a like and a share
01:13:51.240 and hit that subscribe and we will see you uh next week episode 44 now i know we were working
01:13:58.880 on having a guest for next week we were trying to get dean allison nailed down but of course with
01:14:03.400 the allison inquiry coming up he's likely very very busy um so we'll see uh i'm not sure if he's
01:14:09.340 going to make it or not but either way we'll come up with something and you know another fun idea
01:14:13.860 i thought um i wanted to i wanted to uh uh talk to chris about too was getting our parents on i
01:14:21.560 would love to have a show um where we have our parents come on to talk about you know their
01:14:26.820 experience through us all of this also and um my parents led the convoy from medicine hat all the
01:14:32.420 way to Ottawa on their pilot truck. And then of course, just, you know,
01:14:34.900 to talk to them and see how they're how they're all doing and how they've
01:14:38.480 fared through all of this.
01:14:39.260 So I think we'll probably end up doing something like that too.
01:14:42.640 But we've got some really great guests coming up through September.
01:14:45.140 We are working on finalizing all of those right now.
01:14:48.300 I just want to say also a huge thank you to our guest,
01:14:51.820 Jim McMurtry tonight and good luck to Tasha,
01:14:55.040 our producer who is out in Toronto.
