00:00:00.000 Hey guys, it's Jack. I wanted to let you know that we're starting a new push for subscriptions here on Human Events Daily.
00:00:09.340 So make sure that when you're listening to this podcast, you hit subscribe, you download it, and you share it with five of your friends.
00:00:16.720 Make sure they're all going and downloading as well, because we need to get the signal out as much as possible.
00:00:22.440 Look, we've done so much over the past couple of years since this show started, and we're only going to do so much more.
00:00:29.360 Let's get it.
00:00:59.360 are created equal all men but that only meant certain men and not women stressed out no it's
00:01:07.540 just it's like the weight is what kills you yeah just wait you know there's and i don't polls don't
00:01:15.780 vote man people vote no exactly there's a lot of inshallah that has happened yeah abdul is as
00:01:20.860 american as any other name in this country it's one of the strongest american names that you can
00:01:25.240 have. All right, folks, Jack Posobiec back live here, Human Events Daily. And of course,
00:01:32.860 we have that Michigan event, Michigan election later today, President Trump on his way now to
00:01:39.640 California. That's why you're seeing Marine One there. And we've got quite a bit going on,
00:01:45.280 but I wanted to track down that this election. And we've got our producer, Ellis Meyer, who's
00:01:51.240 there on uh on the ground she was just in actually say she was just in michigan uh kind of checking
00:01:56.640 out what was happening ellis how are you i'm good how are you jack i'm doing just fine so please um
00:02:03.500 please walk us through kind of what's going on with this with this election it seems to me that
00:02:09.800 we've got this this far left dsa style candidate but then also more of a a moderate candidate who's
00:02:15.480 only moderately radical. And walk us through a little bit of that and what the expectation is
00:02:21.160 for this evening's event. Yeah, so this is a pretty contentious election in Michigan. And a lot of
00:02:30.500 people are looking at it as kind of a momentous occasion for the Democratic Party, because this
00:02:40.120 election will determine, in a lot of ways, the future of the party. So you have Abdul El Saeed,
00:02:46.800 who is this very progressive populist, as identified by the media, and then you have
00:02:51.700 Haley Stevens, who is a little bit more moderate, and she is backed very heavily by the establishment.
00:02:58.320 So both candidates are very anti-Trump, very anti-Republican, and it's about really
00:03:06.280 who the people of Michigan think can beat Mike Rogers in the general election in November.
00:03:17.000 So a lot of polls are putting El Saeed heavily ahead of Haley Stevens. The last poll that came
00:03:27.120 out was about 15 15 ahead of um stevens but a lot of polls are also saying that mike rogers has a
00:03:35.960 better chance of beating el saeed over beating stevens so it'll be very interesting to see what
00:03:42.220 happens tonight and so this is this is very interesting of course because as well when you
00:03:49.660 see el saeed you know this is a candidate as well it kind of reminds me of francesca hong you know
00:03:54.480 And perhaps we need to start looking at a few more of his past statements as well, because this this amount of radical policies that he stands for are completely, it seems to me, out of lockstep with the voters in in a place like Michigan or a place like middle, you know, sort of like the Midwest, middle America.
00:04:15.300 And yet we still seem and else what is it? Why do we keep seeing candidates like this doing well in these primaries, particularly in the Midwest?
00:04:23.120 Yeah, of course. I think that these candidates, the anti-establishment candidates are doing really well because voters on both sides are just fed up. I think that voters are seeing just, they're just unhappy with what's going on, especially in the Democratic Party, especially these last few years under the Trump administration, with Congress being Republican.
00:04:48.200 I think that voters just want somebody who they think can stand up for them, especially on the Democratic side of things.
00:04:56.840 And and that makes candidates like Abdul El-Sayed very appealing.
00:05:02.400 He has he has come out and said that he is not a socialist.
00:05:07.480 He is very clear about that. He says that he is a capitalist who, quote, understands how capitalism works.
00:05:12.440 But he is very heavily endorsed by other democratic socialists such as Bernie Sanders and AOC and Hassan Piker. So there's a level of excitement around candidates like El Saeed and people think that he might be a better option than a quote unquote socialist or self-identified socialist.
00:05:32.380 But he still has a lot of the same policy goals as these socialists do.
00:05:38.280 So I think that that is one of the reasons why he has garnered a lot of attention in this campaign.
00:05:45.640 Well, he certainly has. And look, you know, it's it's it's one of these guys who and, you know, I saw, you know, we were talking about John Fetterman recently, my senator, who is potentially looking at moving parties because of this.
00:05:59.340 And he had a comment on a donor meeting which leaked.
00:06:05.560 This is Abdul Syed, who said that he said particularly that he thinks that the DSA should or DSA style candidates should primary John Fetterman.
00:06:18.040 This is one of the reasons that Fetterman is looking at leaving the Democrat Party.
00:06:21.460 And the phrase he used, and I'm just using this phrase because it's the phrase that he used to quote him.
00:06:26.300 He said, you put one ogre on a pike and then everyone else gets the message.
00:06:33.260 And look, I'm going to say in this in this environment, even for a guy like John Fetterman, whose previous positions I certainly did not support.
00:06:42.420 He was the one who actually ran as a progressive in 2022 when he was first elected.
00:06:47.920 And I certainly opposed him then that, you know, you can't use rhetoric like that in an environment where we've seen so many of these political assassinations and attempted assassinations of President Trump.
00:07:01.240 To me, that sounds like he's calling for violence. And it's it's a phrase that I just think should not be used in our environment, because unfortunately, it's people from his party and particularly his wing of the party who keep trying to commit this level of political violence.
00:07:21.240 violence. But again, to your point, I do think you're exactly correct that it's the anti-establishment
00:07:27.220 nature of politics today that is actually the biggest driver for this and not necessarily
00:07:32.680 these cultural Marxist and honestly violent statements like the one made by the Senate
00:07:38.340 candidate there. Yeah, of course. I think that the anti-establishment movement is so incredibly
00:07:46.340 powerful in a lot of these states, especially the swing states of the last election that went
00:07:54.000 heavily for Donald Trump as well. There's a lot riding for the Democratic Party with this
00:08:01.440 particular election in Michigan tonight. Well, there certainly is. I'm going to be up
00:08:07.640 watching the results. I know everybody is. I don't think we're streaming tonight, but I certainly
00:08:12.600 I certainly expect us to be up and watching the votes and watching the election and watching all this.
00:08:18.220 Now, that being said, Mike Rogers expected to win for the Republican side.
00:08:23.060 He's the one who ran, I believe, last time and did not get there, but he got very, very close.
00:08:28.440 And so he's taking a former congressman. He's taking another bite at the apple.
00:08:32.720 Does it look like Rogers then would be more well positioned to win, even though he is seen as more of an establishment?
00:08:39.640 Or is I guess that's the that's going to be the contest?
00:08:42.600 Yeah, I think that is a really good question to kind of go into this election cycle, asking ourselves, and it really depends on who gets the Democratic nomination, or who wins the Democratic primary, because, like I said, the polling from Epic MRA poll has Rogers handily beating this Abdul El-Sayed, but he is a little bit more neck and neck with Haley Stevens.
00:09:09.260 So I think that while there is a very strong anti-establishment sentiment in Michigan right now, it's going to come down to who really can beat a Republican candidate.
00:09:22.020 I think that's really what most voters are going to be basing their or casting their ballots on tonight.
00:09:30.520 Who, I didn't catch it, who ran that poll that you just referenced?
00:09:34.420 epic mra poll it's been cited a few times by different uh local detroit-based uh news
00:09:42.780 organizations but yeah epic mra poll interesting very very interesting we will see ellis meyer
00:09:49.300 thank you so much and of course for all your work behind the scenes as a producer here at human
00:09:53.360 events daily thank you thank you jack all right folks jack posobik that is it for us president
00:10:01.040 Trump now on his way to California. Big R&C dinner going on out there as the midterms are heating up.
00:10:08.120 He, of course, heading out for for fundraising. And so we will see the results later tonight.
00:10:15.520 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
00:10:31.040 Where's Jack? Where is he? Jack, I want to see you. Great job, Jack. Thank you. What a job you do.
00:10:42.380 You know, we have an incredible thing. We're always talking about the fake news and the bad,
00:10:45.840 but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting Pulisic.
00:10:52.200 All right, folks, Jack Kosovic. We're back live here on Human Events Daily. We're on
00:10:55.840 with Senator Jim Banks, the great state of Indiana, and Senator Banks.
00:10:59.780 So, of course, we saw the Supreme Court's ruling on birthright citizenship.
00:11:04.620 But you have said, look, you know, that's out there.
00:11:08.120 But Kavanaugh had this great dissent that said, look, if Congress wants to take action on this question of birthright citizenship, it can.
00:11:15.980 And that the ruling, as I understand it, didn't preclude Congress from taking action.
00:11:21.740 You're doing exactly that.
00:11:23.060 You've introduced the Citizenship Act of 2026.
00:11:26.380 Walk us through it.
00:11:26.960 Well, let me be clear. Kavanaugh was on the wrong side of what I think is the worst Supreme
00:11:32.760 Court decision of my lifetime in striking down President Trump's executive order to
00:11:37.200 ban birthright citizenship. But Kavanaugh did, as you said, in his opinion, he wrote
00:11:43.020 a separate opinion and he pointed this important piece out that what he believes would pass
00:11:50.260 constitutional muster is for Congress to act, instead of the president, for Congress to
00:11:55.420 Act and declare an invasion of illegals into our country and then explicitly make the point
00:12:01.600 that all nine Supreme Court justices have have agreed on that the babies of invaders are not 0.91
00:12:07.460 eligible for birthright citizenship. This is important. We don't have to pass a constitutional 0.94
00:12:12.120 amendment. We can't overturn a Supreme Court decision, but Congress can pass my bill that
00:12:17.780 says that the tens of millions of illegals who have flooded into our country are invaders and 0.98
00:12:24.600 that those invaders babies aren't eligible. We've declared Nazi spies. We've declared terrorists 0.85
00:12:31.980 as invaders into our country or even pirates. We've declared invaders into our country in the 0.53
00:12:38.580 past. That all pales. That's a drop in the bucket in comparison to the tens of millions of illegals
00:12:45.640 who come into our country. And Jack, a quarter of a million babies every single year, the babies of 0.99
00:12:51.760 illegals are declared citizens of the United States of America of illegals. That's unfair.
00:12:56.300 It's not right. We should put a stop to it. I've never worked on an issue that I've received such
00:13:01.800 a outcry of outrage from people who just don't, they don't understand how this could happen in
00:13:11.300 America. The illegals can flood our country. Their babies become citizens. They're eligible 0.96
00:13:16.200 for welfare. The Democrats want to turn them into Democrat voters, which is a big piece of
00:13:21.600 this as well. All Congress has to do, as Justice Kavanaugh pointed out, is declare the invasion
00:13:27.740 and those invaders' babies aren't eligible for birthright citizenship. It's as simple as that.
00:13:34.000 It is as simple as that. And I was, this past weekend, I was down in Chattanooga, Tennessee,
00:13:39.640 at a sort of a conservative, you know, kind of grassroots conference, great, great time,
00:13:44.140 and actually got to meet someone from Cyprus who had said, well, he said, actually, I said
00:13:51.060 so were you born over there? He said, because he had American accent. He said, no, I was born in
00:13:54.040 the United States. I grew up in the United States. I said, well, wait a minute, but, but you just
00:13:57.520 said you're not an American citizen. He said, yeah, because my dad was a diplomat. And so my
00:14:02.040 dad being a diplomat, that's written in as you don't get citizenship. And I said, yeah, that
00:14:06.840 makes sense. That, that just basic common sense that there are certain categories of people.
00:14:12.900 And, and you're mentioning this, this one, which is people who, you know, break the law to come in
00:14:17.500 in his category, someone who had permission to come in, but in an official capacity,
00:14:22.220 that it's common sense that the children of the certain categories of people would not be given
00:14:27.660 automatic citizenship. And I don't understand why this is so hard for people to perceive. I really
00:14:34.280 don't. Yeah, you're right. Common sense. Americans, by and large, are outraged by this because it
00:14:40.880 means something to be an American citizen. It is a gift to all of us who were born and
00:14:48.480 grew up in this country to be American citizens and that tens of millions of illegals can flood
00:14:54.320 into our country who, by the way, in many cases, don't even believe in America. They don't believe
00:15:01.040 in what America stands for. And then their babies are automatically granted citizenship,
00:15:06.080 eligible for welfare. They become voters. There's something deeply wrong with that. I think the
00:15:11.440 Supreme Court really got the decision wrong, but we can take Justice Kavanaugh's advice here
00:15:16.440 and write a bill that all nine, even the left-wing members of the Supreme Court have all publicly
00:15:24.020 agreed that babies of invaders are not eligible for birthright citizenship. All we have to do is 0.58
00:15:28.840 declare the invasion. And this is a case where Congress has to act. Congress has to do something.
00:15:33.920 And we were talking in the last segment about the midterm election and whether it's the Save America Act to stop illegals from voting in our elections and require voter ID or making it clear that the babies of illegals aren't eligible for birthright citizenship by passing my bill to stop it. 0.66
00:15:52.560 These are big winners for us. 0.72
00:15:55.200 This is good policy, but these bills are big winners for us at the ballot box to get our voters to turn out and vote on Election Day.
00:16:02.580 President Trump makes that case to Senate Republicans. He's frustrated with the Senate.
00:16:07.280 He's frustrated with Republicans. And he makes this case to us all the time. He's so right about
00:16:11.940 it that the Trump voters aren't going to show up to vote for us if we're not passing the Trump
00:16:16.440 agenda. We're not giving them a reason to show back up and vote. And I think he's right about
00:16:21.320 that, which is why the Save America Act and my Citizenship Act and other bills like it
00:16:25.720 are so important to pass and pass right now. I don't care about an August recess.
00:16:29.780 I don't care about anything else other than doing what we were elected to do and passing this agenda to support President Trump and to save our country.
00:16:39.000 And if we do that, the voters, we're going to give the Trump base, the voters a big reason to show up and vote for us and give us a majority again.
00:16:47.860 That's exactly right. And we just saw these harrowing videos and images out of Spain and that southern enclave that they have.
00:16:54.600 And when you talk about invasion, when you talk about invaders, that's exactly what that is.
00:17:00.680 Everybody knows what that is. You don't need to explain it.
00:17:04.340 You don't need 15,000 word, you know, essays to understand what that is.
00:17:09.040 Every normal person can look at that and know what that is.
00:17:11.940 And the idea that the children of people who had done something like that would automatically be given citizenship is, of course.
00:17:19.040 It's, of course, something that flies in the face of everything that it means to be an American.
00:17:24.220 everything that it means to have sovereignty or to have a border that that meaningfully matters,
00:17:28.920 because otherwise citizenship and borders are meaningless. They're just completely
00:17:32.740 meaningless. Senator, while I do have you, I'd love if we could if we could switch topics just
00:17:37.600 for a quick second, because it's something that happened in the Senate just last week.
00:17:41.700 One of your colleagues and I know everyone saw this, of course. This, of course, is the Fauci
00:17:47.140 hearing that took place last week. And your colleague, Senator Rand Paul, had some interesting
00:17:53.660 comments of course for uh for the good doctor guys if you play sought i believe it's c2
00:17:59.180 the chairman has denied your assertion of privilege and directed you to answer but you
00:18:06.520 nonetheless refuse and stand on privilege despite the existence of the pardon the committee will
00:18:11.800 have to consider after this hearing what appropriate action should be taken against you for the failure
00:18:16.980 to testify after being directed to do so it's against the law to obstruct an investigation of
00:18:23.180 Congress, there will be repercussions to your refusal to testify today. Senator Peters.
00:18:31.360 Senator, I have to ask, where do you stand on this push to hold Fauci in contempt?
00:18:36.940 It's way past time to do it. I'm disappointed that he hasn't been held in contempt yet,
00:18:42.600 that he's never been held accountable. By the way, if Anthony Fauci was innocent,
00:18:47.780 Joe Biden wouldn't have given him a pardon. And that's the key takeaway here,
00:18:51.680 They're trying to shield him from any responsibility for what he did to abuse his power and his position, whether it was profiting off of the vaccine or how he misguided the American people, abused the power that he exercised during the pandemic that brought so much devastation and harm to families and to this great country.
00:19:14.700 So it was a slap in the face of every American, I don't care what your political beliefs are, to hear him in that hearing last week provide no answers.
00:19:25.720 I mean, he thumbed his nose at the American people.
00:19:28.920 He insulted the American people by not answering any question at all.
00:19:34.060 And I hope Senator Rand Paul, the chairman of the Oversight Committee in the Senate, I hope he does hold him accountable, hold him in contempt of Congress.
00:19:43.780 and hopefully the Department of Justice
00:19:46.080 will do something about it.
00:19:48.260 Now, if I understand correctly,
00:19:49.900 that's a vote then that would be in the hearing
00:19:52.660 and then also takes a full chamber vote.
00:19:54.840 Is that correct?
00:19:56.080 That's my understanding too.
00:19:57.740 So this reminds me of what the Democrats did
00:19:59.740 to Steve Bannon and others
00:20:02.480 after the January 6th hearings
00:20:04.980 and what they did to them.
00:20:07.820 I mean, I'm not saying that that's an equivalent,
00:20:12.120 but what Dr. Fauci did
00:20:13.720 And by not answering those questions, why would, if Congress held him in content and
00:20:20.400 we voted on it, which I hope that we do, then why would he not be held accountable for that?
00:20:28.000 Well, and of course, the obvious difference being that Steve Bannon and Dr. Peter Navarro
00:20:35.140 did not have blanket pardons in order to be able to testify.
00:20:38.700 They did not have pardons, and so it was not contempt in their case because they did not have the pardon that Fauci does.
00:20:46.980 That's what changes everything, the fact that he had that blanket pardon from Joe Biden, which we can, of course, question who exactly it was that signed that pardon.
00:20:57.340 Senator Banks, thank you once again.
00:20:58.940 Tell everybody your site where people can go and follow to track your bill and everything you're up to.
00:21:03.600 Find me at Senator Jim Banks on Facebook, at Senator Jim Banks on X as well.
00:21:09.980 I appreciate your feedback.
00:21:12.400 Thank you so much, Senator.
00:21:13.260 God bless and honored, as always, to have you on.

00:22:25.640 to have on the program Senator Jim Banks.
00:22:28.240 Senator Banks, how are you?
00:22:29.860 Hey, I'm good. Good to be with you again.
00:22:32.720 You as well. So, of course, all eyes are on your neighbor there in Michigan today where there's a contest going on Republican side.
00:22:41.460 But the Democrat side is one that people are really looking at to see who's going to be your next colleague in the Senate.
00:22:48.240 And I've just got to ask, what are your thoughts on the Michigan Democrat primary that everyone's looking at today?
00:22:54.940 Well, it's like a race to the bottom. 0.71
00:22:56.560 I mean, El-Sayed is the worst of the worst when it comes to socialist, communist, Democrat beliefs and ideologies.
00:23:04.700 I mean, this guy supports open borders.
00:23:06.680 He wants to see our entire country and our economic system turn into something that looks more like communist China than the United States of America.
00:23:16.460 But this is the poison or the cancer that's taken over the Democrat Party is this socialist mentality.
00:23:26.560 When I was in the House back in 2018, 2019, the squad consisted of five or six members of the House.
00:23:35.780 Now the squad, the Progressive Caucus, makes up about half of the Democrat caucus in the House.
00:23:41.660 And then you see the Democrats nominate, likely nominating El Syed tonight in Michigan and some of the candidates they've nominated around the country.
00:23:50.660 You see this is really what the Democrat Party believes in America.
00:23:53.980 They hate America, they hate our founding ideals, and they want to remake or reinvent America into something that would destroy our country inside out.
00:24:05.060 So I think that the Democrat primary in tonight is going to ensure that Mike Rogers wins the race on November 3rd in a state like Michigan,
00:24:14.100 which is a lot like Indiana, working class families, a lot of manufacturing jobs,
00:24:20.260 of course, the rich automobile industry that comes out of Michigan. There are a lot of good
00:24:25.380 people in Michigan that don't want to turn their country into what El Syed wants to turn America 0.98
00:24:29.780 into. So hopefully, as a Republican, I'm cheering for El Syed because it's going to make it a lot 0.99
00:24:36.500 easier for Mike Rogers to win in November. Well, I think that might be right. And of course, 0.99
00:24:42.180 We're we're all sort of reeling at these comments from the Minnesota or excuse me, the Wisconsin candidate for Governor Francesca Hong going not not not only is she going after her, you know, these policies are America's system of capitalism, our system of business, our institutions. 0.98
00:25:02.660 She's decided to go after American holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving and others.
00:25:09.080 And I said, gosh, you know, usually the communists wait and hide their radicalism until a little bit later.
00:25:15.400 She's at least putting it right there in front for us.
00:25:18.340 Yeah, again, you see candidates like this getting nominated by the Democrat Party.
00:25:23.780 And Midwestern states where I come from, middle America, where working class, blue collar families, and in a state like Wisconsin.
00:25:33.240 I mean, Indiana and Wisconsin go back and forth between the top manufacturing states in the country.
00:25:39.080 And you think that Wisconsin would nominate a Democrat who wants to abolish Thanksgiving holidays?
00:25:45.920 I mean, this is really wild.
00:25:47.880 I served in the House with Tom Tiffany, who's the Republican nominee.
00:25:52.080 He is going to make a great governor for Wisconsin, who's focused on working-class families,
00:25:57.500 on supporting President Trump's agenda to secure our borders, and supporting law and order in Wisconsin. 0.95
00:26:04.720 And his opponent, she's so crazy.
00:26:06.780 I mean, I can't imagine that Tom Tiffany doesn't win by double digits in a state like Wisconsin or that Mike Rogers wins by a lot more than anyone is expecting him to in Michigan to give us a pickup opportunity in the Senate.
00:26:20.320 But this also, Jack, forecasts what's ahead of us in 2028.
00:26:24.440 I mean, if you think about the Democrats' race to the bottom in finding the most communist, socialist candidate that they could possibly nominate to all of these offices,
00:26:35.280 and you think about who they're going to come up with in the presidential race in 2028, I feel really good, better than ever, about J.D. Vance winning in 2028 and carrying on the Trump agenda for another four years in the White House.
00:26:48.780 So this is what this is. This isn't my grandpa's Democrat Party. I mean, I come from a from a union family, a blue collar family.
00:26:56.200 My dad voted Democrat much of his life. My grandfather did as well. This is not my grandpa's Democrat Party.
00:27:02.660 This is a crazy, radical, out of touch, anti-American Democrat Party that wants to destroy our country. 0.79
00:27:09.940 And the voters are reacting in a big way. I think that the voters are fed up with with Democrats. 0.91
00:27:14.980 if you ever thought Republicans were unpopular, look at the polling on the Democrats nationally
00:27:20.760 in this country. They are the most unpopular group of people. I think that public polling
00:27:26.500 has ever registered in a poll because the Democrats are so anti-American and out of touch.
00:27:32.600 And I think it's going to give Republicans an opportunity to keep our majorities in the House
00:27:38.460 and the Senate this November and then win big in 2028 again as well. Well, I think you've got a
00:27:44.340 real point there. My, my dad was a union in Pennsylvania, by the way, and he, he was the
00:27:49.100 same way. And, you know, it's, it was, uh, was not a lockstep Republican voter would, would vote
00:27:53.880 Democrat, you know, many times in the past, uh, big, big time Trump supporter, by the way, uh,
00:27:58.960 these days and, um, and watches the show. Hi dad. Uh, so, so it's, it's, it's something where the,
00:28:05.820 in Pennsylvania, you know, we've got a guy like, like John Fetterman, and we were just sort of
00:28:09.520 talking about these questions about whether or not he might switch over. And my big push on that
00:28:16.380 was, if he's interested, I'd love to see some votes, Save America Act, Todd Blanche, just one
00:28:23.560 minute. But do you think that there's some opportunities here coming up for Senator
00:28:27.860 Fetterman to be able to really show what side he's on? Yeah, I hope so. And he's done it before,
00:28:33.100 at least rhetorically. But anytime a Democrat goes against the grain, they get taken out by
00:28:37.400 the radical wing in their party. And that's what I expect to happen to Fetterman in Pennsylvania
00:28:41.580 in his reelection campaign. If he runs again, the Democrats are going to nominate someone who is
00:28:46.080 far to the left, the socialist communist left in their party and give and give Republicans a big
00:28:51.880 opportunity to pick up another seat in Pennsylvania. So there's a lot of hope here,
00:28:56.420 but these Democrats, they are out of control. They eat their own and they don't leave any room
00:29:01.300 for dissent. They don't leave any room for Democrats who compromise on a lot of the big
00:29:06.320 issues that Americans care about. All right, Senator, one second with you, and we'll take a
00:29:12.560 quick break, come right back, talk a little bit about what you've got going on and some of the
00:29:16.520 other things in the United States Senate here, Human Events Daily. Be right back.
00:29:28.200 We'll stand in our way, and our golden age has just begun. This is Human Events with Jack Posobo.
00:29:33.960 Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.
00:29:38.720 Welcome to the second American revolution.
00:29:43.960 I wasn't always aware of the struggles of other communities of color because for me, assimilation always kind of took over.
00:29:51.100 And so I did marry.
00:29:55.240 And proximity to whiteness continues, right?
00:29:58.040 My son is biracial.
00:30:00.260 He's half white and half Korean.
00:30:01.880 And I think navigating, you know, what his identity is and how people perceive him is always at the back of my mind as well.
00:30:13.360 Wow, folks, and we'll get into that in a second because I want to remind everyone that America is turning 250 and we're not celebrating weakness.
00:30:21.520 We're celebrating freedom, strength and the greatest country in the world.
00:30:25.380 Here's the crazy part. 250 years later, we're still drinking whatever the government decides to put in our water.
00:30:31.420 Fluoride for your teeth, chlorine to keep things clean,
00:30:34.180 and that's not a decision that I want someone else making for my family.
00:30:37.800 That's why I use CovePure to purify my water.
00:30:40.740 More than 200 million Americans are on fluoride of water.
00:30:43.700 And the latest JAMA Pediatrics review found fluoride exposure
00:30:46.980 was associated with lower IQ scores in children,
00:30:49.660 though the evidence is strongest in high-exposure studies.
00:30:52.600 And chlorine, when it reacts with organic material in water,
00:30:55.560 it can create disinfection byproducts like THMs,
00:30:58.440 which regulators monitor because some are considered possible or probable carcinogens.
00:31:03.540 Some states are movers on this, but that takes time.
00:31:06.360 Your family is drinking this water today.
00:31:09.240 Cove Pure says its system removes a wide range of contaminants,
00:31:12.640 including chlorine and microplastics,
00:31:14.260 and its site says it's built to deliver cleaner, better-tasting water on demand.
00:31:18.340 I love how easy Cove Pure is to use,
00:31:20.520 how great the water tastes,
00:31:21.580 and the peace of mind it gives me knowing that I'm in control of what my family drinks.
00:31:24.740 So don't wait for the government to catch up.
00:31:26.420 Take back control of your water, just like the Poso family did, because we have it.
00:31:29.640 My kids call it super water.
00:31:30.700 And in honor of America's 250th, Co-Pure is giving the Human Events audience $250 off when you use my link, Co-Pure.com slash Poso.
00:31:42.240 Co-Pure.com slash Poso.
00:31:43.840 I want to bring in Katie Zachariah here. 0.99
00:31:47.100 She is the new communications advisor for Truth Social and a former DHS spokeswoman.
00:31:53.000 Katie, how are you?
00:31:54.520 Excellent.
00:31:55.120 Out here in California.
00:31:56.420 How are you, Jack? I'm doing excellent as well, but I see what's happening. And look,
00:32:02.740 you're someone who understands communism. You lived in communist China. And we see now the rise
00:32:09.300 of the DSA. We're seeing it. Of course, we have the election later tonight. It's taking place all
00:32:15.000 day today. The results will be out later tonight in Michigan, where it's widely expected that
00:32:19.000 Abdul El-Sayed is going to win, who is a full-on communist. Francesca Hong, a full-on communist
00:32:26.340 We played that clip just now. She's talking about whiteness and she has all of these problems with her son being half white, which is just imagine your child hearing that, by the way, and not to, you know, not even get to the politics of it, just the sheer lack of humanity that seems to be exuding whenever she speaks.
00:32:44.920 But but what is it, Katie? Why is it that Republicans haven't and so many conservatives don't seem to have a good answer for this?
00:32:52.480 Well, actually, Jack, I would be I would argue to the contrary. We we have an answer.
00:32:57.980 John Thune and the Republican held Senate hold the antidote to what is happening right now.
00:33:02.900 As soon as you have the Save America Act and voter ID, the Democrat communists of America are going to go away.
00:33:11.120 They just are, Jack, because you are going to weed out a lot of the issues by having voter ID.
00:33:15.940 Look at what happened in New Jersey with illegal aliens voting. 0.90
00:33:19.160 This is how Democrats win. They surge the state. And then even though we're told nobody's voting, non-citizens aren't voting, they are voting. 0.97
00:33:27.440 And so as soon as we have a regulation on who goes to vote, we are not going to see this huge issue.
00:33:32.700 But the Republicans are not doing this, Jack.
00:33:35.380 And I just want to highlight, I worked in Dearborn, Michigan for the president's 2024 race.
00:33:41.240 And we did win Michigan and we did actually win the Muslim majority county of Dearborn.
00:33:48.440 And, Jack, the thing is, is that while Michigan looks like they're embracing this communist leftist, I think it's a gift to the Republican Party, and it's a gift to Mike Rogers' campaign, because even the Democrat establishment now are on high alert that their candidate, their endorsed candidate, did not get picked, Haley Stevens.
00:34:08.280 and and then this socialist communist is rising up and now they're going we're going to lose
00:34:14.220 michigan because michigan uh was won by trump in 2024 as we all know is a big win for him
00:34:21.180 and this is these are those alarm bells that are going to start going off for the establishment
00:34:25.520 democrats as you've seen like even carville's like i don't want to be in this party anymore
00:34:29.320 with the people that are that are coming into it but the republicans have the antidote to your
00:34:33.740 point, Jack, into your question, and they are not using it. Well, so that's my question then,
00:34:40.100 is are there Republicans out there in the Senate, and it doesn't make sense to me at all,
00:34:45.660 looking at this completely from the outside, why would the senators seem to want to help the
00:34:51.700 Democrats? It is the question I've been asking since they have failed to pass the Save America
00:34:59.040 Act at every single turn. And the truth is, Jack, is it's not even about Democrats, Republicans.
00:35:05.500 At this point, this is a self-preservation for establishment Democrats and really any Republican
00:35:14.300 that want to have power because they're going to start losing the power without the Save America
00:35:19.280 Act. This should have passed on a bipartisan level, and Democrats should be running over to 0.85
00:35:25.260 past the Save America Act at this point, watching what is happening and unfolding, and particularly
00:35:30.060 in Michigan today? Well, I think it's exactly right, and I certainly hope it's a wake-up call,
00:35:35.940 and I know it is, like to my Senator John Fetterman, who's looking at the Democrats'
00:35:41.440 stances on a variety of issues, not just communism, but also on the issue of Israel,
00:35:46.720 that he is completely now out of lockstep with the base of his party. This will also be an issue
00:35:51.500 for joshapiro um should he and we all know that he wants to run for president he's going to run
00:35:56.600 into a buzzsaw of his own voters and is and in a way katie isn't this kind of the democrats own
00:36:03.420 design their own making they they call the self-proclaimed big tent they're a big tent
00:36:09.300 party and they have invited in the the virus the fire whatever whatever analogy or euphemism or
00:36:17.800 etc you want to use jack they've invited this in and i i go i say cancer i go i say cancer that's
00:36:24.080 just me it is a cancer but but they're not treating their cancer they're letting the cancer
00:36:29.540 spread and they're letting the cancer take over and and they actually you know to see carville
00:36:34.940 raise the alarm bell over the weekend uh is he you know he was wrong about kamala he was wrong
00:36:40.000 about hillary we can go back to all the times he's been wrong and i have to give him some credit
00:36:43.840 He's not wrong about this. And the Democrats would be good to listen to him, Rahm Emanuel.
00:36:49.760 Everybody is sounding the alarm now that is of establishment Democrat Van Jones,
00:36:55.520 that type of category, because they're seeing that they've let in this cancer. So whether they do
00:37:01.280 chemotherapy and radiation, or that they actually are going to have to start backing some Republican 0.80
00:37:08.000 agenda like economy, borders, protecting our cities, deporting illegal aliens. They're going 0.86
00:37:15.600 to have to start coming over to our points, because that's what sells for middle America.
00:37:20.240 Middle America wants prosperity. Middle America wants safe streets, Jack. The socialists want to
00:37:25.760 defund the police, get rid of ICE, get rid of the president, get rid of the Senate. I mean,
00:37:29.680 they are so off base. And that radicalized movement is going to force some of these
00:37:34.320 establishment Democrats like Fetterman, like Shapiro, to come over, I think, to the Republican
00:37:39.520 side. And I mean, they're welcome as long as they are for all of our agenda of making America
00:37:46.200 great again. Well, and that's an interesting question. I guess I have two points. First
00:37:52.200 point is that I would also add to the list of things that James Carville has been wrong about.
00:37:56.260 He was also wrong when he attacked me because I was going after Taylor Swift in 2014 and he said
00:38:03.040 that I was wrong. No, actually, James, I was 100 percent correct. You were wrong. And and I think
00:38:08.500 the results speak for themselves. And if Shapiro, absolutely not, not interested in anything to do
00:38:16.040 with that guy. But but with the question of Fetterman, if Fetterman wants to come over as
00:38:20.340 a Republican, where are the votes? Where's his vote for the Save Act? Where's his vote for Todd
00:38:24.960 Blanche? Where's his vote for all of these things that he could be doing? I've seen the rhetoric.
00:38:29.060 I've seen the interviews. I've seen all of it. Right. But I just don't see the action matching the words.
00:38:35.620 And if we want to believe him that he actually is making these moves in a different direction, then don't just say it, John.
00:38:43.440 You can't just say it. You actually have to do something to back it up. Do you get what I'm saying?
00:38:47.700 Oh, absolutely. Look, Fetterman, I like Fetterman being a Democrat only because he consistently annoys and aggravates the Democrats because he's reasonable.
00:38:59.060 He was the one person, the one establishment Democrat that did not support Graham Plattner.
00:39:04.600 And he continued on out of that and continues to be pretty reasonable.
00:39:09.940 Yet, what will save him and what will save establishment Democrats like him would be something like the Save America Act.
00:39:16.460 So, to your point, Jack, he should be coming over for the Save America Act.
00:39:20.000 This should be a nonpartisan issue.
00:39:21.400 This is a preservation of our republic issue, and that includes establishment Democrats and Republicans.
00:39:27.920 So, yes, John Fetterman, we'd love to see you come over on that. And it would actually save him probably in Pennsylvania.
00:39:35.040 Yeah. And that's kind of what I'm saying. Right. And to your point, right, it would actually help him politically and electorally in Pennsylvania.
00:39:41.020 But that that's what it comes down to is, you know, we can't be a cheap date. All right. Republicans can't be a cheap date.
00:39:47.580 You have to say, you know, trust, but verify. Right. Trust, but verify.
00:39:51.500 And, you know, you see someone making all the right moves and saying that they want to.
00:39:55.580 oh, I've had a change, right?
00:39:56.640 It's like you're in a relationship, right?
00:39:57.680 I've changed, I've changed, right?
00:39:59.340 You know, should we take him back?
00:40:00.740 Should we take him back?
00:40:01.980 Show me.
00:40:02.520 You gotta show me, show me the money,
00:40:05.060 and show, don't tell.
00:40:06.860 So I would love to see that vote on the Save America Act.
00:40:09.760 Todd Blanche, of course, was just voted out,
00:40:11.560 and congratulations to the potential attorney general
00:40:15.240 for being voted out of the committee,
00:40:18.560 the Senate Judiciary Committee,
00:40:19.580 but of course he now faces a vote on the floor.
00:40:22.200 And I think if John Fetterman wants to actually show some, you know, show some of this turnover of a new leaf, then why don't you just show us right now?
00:40:32.220 Because you're going to have this big vote coming up. Vote for Todd Blanche and Todd Blanche.
00:40:36.500 By the way, he's not an ideological guy. He's someone that that both sides could support.
00:40:40.860 He's he's a lawyer and he calls it like he sees it. So, Katie Zachariah, I'd love to get into this with you more.
00:40:46.480 But of course, we do have to get going. Where can people go to follow you and get access to everything that you're up to?
00:40:51.000 Katie Zachariah on X, Instagram, LinkedIn, and you can probably find me on YouTube.
00:40:56.960 Oh, and of course-
00:40:57.820 All right, make sure you check her out, folks. 0.96
00:40:59.540 Some of the best content out there and her clips are absolute fire.
00:41:04.140 I particularly like when she's going after the communists.
00:41:07.060 What can I say?
00:41:07.800 I'm biased.
00:41:08.620 We'll be right back with more on today's election in Michigan, Human Events Daily, Real America's
00:41:13.400 Voice.
00:41:21.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning
00:41:35.200 meets fifth generation warfare.
00:41:41.600 A commentator, international social media sensation,
00:41:46.000 and former Navy intelligence veteran.
00:41:47.960 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
00:41:51.000 Christ is king.
00:41:52.960 Let's step back and ask why we lost in 2024.
00:41:56.740 Too often we lost young people.
00:41:58.380 We lost Arab and Muslim voters.
00:41:59.960 I'm an Egyptian-American.
00:42:01.360 I'm a proud son of Africa,
00:42:02.480 and I'm also proudly Arab and Muslim-American.
00:42:05.140 I think we have an opportunity to bring communities together
00:42:07.080 to bring back the voters that too often we lost
00:42:10.040 to win the future for our state,
00:42:12.440 take back our state from Donald Trump.
00:42:14.320 Again, let's just read the quotes.
00:42:16.500 The DSA platform says,
00:42:18.440 your work, you work as much as you are able and no more than needed. If that was any closer to
00:42:24.440 Karl Marx's dictum from each according to his abilities to each according to his needs,
00:42:29.380 they'd be sued for plagiarism. The Democrat party on the ballot as voters across five states head
00:42:34.680 to the polls in a new round of high stakes primaries. Months of campaigning come down to
00:42:39.420 today with the party's far left wing taking on the establishment in races that could determine
00:42:44.580 who controls the party and how far left it's going to go.
00:42:48.200 I wasn't always aware of the struggles of other communities of color
00:42:51.400 because for me, assimilation always kind of took over.
00:42:54.920 And so I did marry.
00:42:59.120 And proximity to whiteness continues, right?
00:43:01.940 My son is biracial.
00:43:04.080 He's half white and half Korean.
00:43:06.240 And I think navigating, you know, what his identity is
00:43:10.900 and how people perceive him is always at the back of my mind as well.
00:43:14.240 You know, you've talked about your past positions that he keeps highlighting and, you know, obviously likely would continue to do so before November, should you win.
00:43:22.140 One thing that they brought up as well was a post from you in 2021 where you said Americans should cancel Thanksgiving, should have done this in 1621.
00:43:33.180 The post has been deleted. Republicans have been highlighting it. Do you still believe that Thanksgiving should be canceled?
00:43:39.960 I'm a chef and one of the first meals that I made that was for the community when I was 16
00:43:50.840 was a Thanksgiving meal. I always think my hospitality background in owning a restaurant
00:43:56.860 for seven, eight years, that bringing folks around the table to share conversation and build
00:44:02.660 community is always a good thing. But Thanksgiving is also a time that's incredibly painful for many
00:44:09.140 people in our communities and so i think there i wanted to make sure that people understood that
00:44:14.740 there are multiple views but views can evolve well ladies and welcome aboard today's edition
00:44:21.220 of human events daily we're here live real america's voice today is august 4th 2026 anno
00:44:28.340 domine and folks my goodness francesca hong up there running for the dsa in wisconsin and people
00:44:36.020 People are people are saying, oh, my gosh, this is such a strange candidate.
00:44:40.020 And, you know, and she certainly is, by the way.
00:44:42.040 But also, I want to explain to people that if you understand cultural Marxism, if you understand the underpinnings of her ideology, then nothing she is doing is out of the ordinary at all.
00:44:55.280 And I would urge everyone to just read the book.
00:44:59.320 Just read the book.
00:45:01.000 It's been out for two years.
00:45:02.740 What are you waiting for?
00:45:04.180 Just read the book.
00:45:05.120 just pick it off the shelf and go read the book. Why do Marxists hate our culture and hate our
00:45:11.180 holidays? You ask because they want to subvert our history and subvert our culture. It's so
00:45:18.280 obvious. And we've told you this over and over and over. And I'm like, how many times do I have
00:45:23.700 to say this? Of course they will attack your culture. Of course they will attack your holidays. 0.87
00:45:28.320 They will make you hate your history. They will make you hate your holidays. They will make you
00:45:33.080 hate everything that makes you a people, an American people, right? This is why when people
00:45:39.660 are like, oh, Jack, why are you attacking capitalism? I said, because we need national
00:45:42.720 populism, because we need to understand that we are a nation first, because these people will come
00:45:48.240 in and start subverting everything. And they'll say, oh, they say, oh, Europeans were the original 0.92
00:45:54.920 super spreaders of colonialism. And it was white people that were killing indigenous folks and 0.99
00:46:01.580 women, right? That's the DSA, right? They hate white people. It's not complicated. They just 0.99
00:46:08.240 hate white people over and over. And so what are they going to do? They're going to take a holiday 0.98
00:46:13.300 and declare it a white holiday, like Thanksgiving or, oh, God forbid, white Christmas. You see,
00:46:20.420 that's what they're going to do next. And she's also against Christmas, white Valentine's Day. 0.74
00:46:25.540 White Columbus Day, of course, is the first one they already have gone after to try to turn it 0.55
00:46:29.280 into Indigenous People's Day, even though, by the way, long story short, they were from Siberia. 0.76
00:46:35.340 So actually, if you want to be Indigenous, you would have to go to Siberia to be able to be
00:46:41.520 Indigenous Siberian Americans. Again, it's not about misunderstanding history. You have to
00:46:48.300 understand the deeper underpinnings of what the cultural Marxist is doing. The cultural Marxist
00:46:52.680 knows that if they can make you hate your own country, if they can make you hate your own
00:46:58.460 culture, if they can make you hate your own institutions, then they will allow you to give
00:47:04.600 them total power. Then you won't fight when they take over your government. You won't fight when
00:47:12.420 they take over your businesses and your institutions and all of your systems. And you
00:47:17.380 won't fight when eventually they get total power and it becomes too late. That is why,
00:47:25.120 In the words of another great Wisconsin politician, a Wisconsin elected official, a Wisconsin national hero, a guy by the name of tail gunner Joe, Senator Joseph McCarthy, Republican out of Wisconsin, who said,
00:47:43.620 If there is only one communist on the campus of one university, that is one communist too many.
00:47:52.040 If there was only one communist at the American Advisors at Yalta, that is one communist too many.
00:47:58.260 And if there is only one communist, just one communist in the State Department, then that is still one communist too many.
00:48:08.580 because this is what they do every single time.
00:48:14.460 We'll be right back.
