00:00:00.000 we have an incredible show for you today here on human events daily huge breaking exclusive news

00:00:06.580 to us forum messages from inside an internal worker forum the cast members at disney talking

00:00:13.040 about how they actually do support the anti-grooming bill in florida and many people saying that they

00:00:19.020 don't want the company to be getting political at all you've got to check that out but before we do

00:00:22.840 want to tell you a little bit about what's going on here at turning point usa make sure you check

00:00:26.900 out the debate night tposa.com debate night it was just held charlie kirk and buck angel and if you

00:00:32.580 haven't got your tickets yet for the young women's leadership summit ywls it's coming up june 2nd to

00:00:38.160 4th dallas texas tposa.com ywls ladies and gentlemen welcome aboard today's edition of human events

00:00:46.280 daily powered by turning point usa we are coming to you live from the phoenix arizona studios the free

00:00:52.580 state of arizona turning point usa we're at the mothership this week so today's top stories new

00:00:58.300 texts revealed this is a human events exclusive disney cast members are in favor of the florida

00:01:04.860 anti-grooming law we're going to break it down next the wall street journal reporting that zelinski

00:01:10.040 refused to drop ukraine's nato bid in the run-up to the war third victor orban declares victory in

00:01:16.640 hungary elections and then finally covet 19 cases rise as 26 million people are put under lockdown in

00:01:23.780 the city of shanghai by the ccp all this and we're ahead human events daily 0.77

00:01:27.600 so late last week a internal staffer a disney reached out to me this is someone that i've talked

00:01:46.020 to um from time to time again over the years to give me information about what's going on inside

00:01:52.220 disney what's going on on the ground and specifically this is someone who works as a cast member so disney

00:01:58.760 doesn't call them their employees employees they call them cast members right so these are the people

00:02:02.320 that you see at the parks or if you're going down to orlando this they have the sort of like

00:02:06.560 um the first floor if you guys don't know how that works at disney world there's all of disney

00:02:11.000 world in orlando right is set up one story higher than the rest of um the entire park and so

00:02:16.880 downstairs they have this whole first floor which is essentially tunnels under the magic kingdom and

00:02:21.300 everything else for uh for workers for logistics that's why you don't see you know trash trucks

00:02:25.840 driving around food trucks that kind of stuff that all takes place on the lower level and there are

00:02:30.960 thousands and thousands of people working there every day right for them it's this is work they want

00:02:35.520 to provide a great amusement park a great experience for everybody a great time here though are some of

00:02:42.280 the messages that were leaked to me from an internal message board on disney all about this new law

00:02:51.140 disney's new stance on this anti-grooming law the fact that disney is getting so political and so just

00:02:56.940 look at some of these comments and there's so many of them go and read the articles up at postmillennial.com

00:03:01.740 uh we've got everything i'm not going to be able to read them all here in the limited time that we

00:03:05.220 have but messages like let children be children most everyone is ignorant as to what the actual

00:03:11.820 wording of the bill says and who it applies to it doesn't apply to gay or trans it applies to the

00:03:17.260 education system the governor of florida along with the state legislature felt compelled to write a bill

00:03:23.340 that gave the rights to parents of raising their kids as well as regulations to our school systems if

00:03:30.180 kids ask about sex then i believe it's the parents responsibility and discretion

00:03:34.420 but also if teachers are asked from the students then the teachers need to communicate it to the

00:03:39.500 parents as noted in the bill so what it does it obviously sets up this guidelines a way essentially

00:03:44.700 for teachers to be able to get to the top and keep in mind we're talking about the youngest of the

00:03:49.800 young children here we're not talking about eighth graders we're not even talking about fifth

00:03:53.900 graders right this is third grade and under that people are talking about here third grade all the

00:03:58.840 way down to kindergarten in this case and so when you're looking at this situation you're never

00:04:04.180 going to hear you know uh the cliche the mainstream media is never going to admit what's actually going

00:04:10.380 on they're going to keep telling you that it's all about you know you're not allowed to talk about

00:04:15.240 this and this is banned and that's banned that's not what it is at all but i want to give you

00:04:20.600 a video here play this um play this clip of the president of disney talking about this

00:04:26.800 i'm here as a mother of two queer children actually um uh one transgender child um um and one

00:04:36.560 pansexual child um and and also as a leader i feel a responsibility to speak um not just for myself but

00:04:44.520 for them um to all of us we had a we had an open forum last week at 20th where um again the home of

00:04:52.700 of really incredible groundbreaking lgbtqia stories over the years where um one of our execs stood up

00:05:00.600 and said you know we only have a handful of queer leads in our content and i went what i that can't

00:05:08.480 be true and i and i and i realized oh it actually is true we have many many many lgbtqia characters

00:05:16.200 in our stories and and and yet we don't have enough leads i want to read you one more of the

00:05:24.760 messages for again from a disney cast member on the internal message board this guy wrote i support

00:05:30.480 the bill i'm gay and i think any form of sexual education shouldn't be taught until you're older

00:05:35.400 and able to understand it not when you're young and influential to the people who are teaching you

00:05:40.280 and in a perfect world we wouldn't have teachers imposing their own personal beliefs but this

00:05:45.240 world is imperfect and it does and has happened in other states children kindergarten through third

00:05:49.600 grade are learning basic skills still how to read write count socialize they don't even start going

00:05:55.800 through puberty until maybe fourth grade at the earliest so leave any bill alone because it isn't

00:06:02.100 infringing on any member of the lgbt community or the heterosexual community if you think it is then

00:06:07.440 maybe the issue lies with you wanting children to be involved with sexual things before they are

00:06:12.000 physically and mentally ready for it and then there's just people responding saying thank you

00:06:16.960 for talking about this and saying you know what disney should stay out of politics so understand

00:06:22.300 there are good people there they're trying to do a good job and they are sick of this woke nonsense

00:06:28.860 almost daily i'm seeing these videos home invasions follow home robberies and other crimes that are a result

00:06:36.320 of these insane policies that are going on ladies and gentlemen it is sad to say but you need to be

00:06:40.700 prepared and properly trained to defend yourself and your family thankfully there's now i target pro

00:07:45.080 nayo or nato in a year or two or five just say it directly and clearly or just say no and the response

00:07:52.920 was very clear you're not going to be a nato eu member but publicly the doors will remain open so

00:07:59.160 there's president zelinski of ukraine explaining that from the jump there was this public plan to

00:08:06.680 tell people or act like ukraine was about to join nato when behind the scenes he already knew it wasn't

00:08:13.320 happening well here's an interesting tidbit that the wall street journal buried in their reporting

00:08:17.880 last week but people like aaron mate have done the work of pulling it out listen to this after the

00:08:24.520 german chancellor returned to berlin far more worried than leftists let me set the stage this is

00:08:29.960 one week before the war began this is when that munich conference was going on this is when all

00:08:34.280 the negotiations were happening vice president harris flies over to munich is trying to get some sense

00:08:39.560 of peace talk some sense of a deal being done uh in terms of all of this i remember back in that same

00:08:45.160 time period i actually did an interview with dan um congressman dan crenshaw and i said i think putin

00:08:51.080 wants a deal i think they want neutrality for ukraine i think we should negotiate and try to

00:08:55.720 find a peaceful way through this situation right that's the thing i said right before all this

00:09:01.240 dropped so listen to the wall street journal mr shoals so that's the chancellor of germany mr

00:09:06.840 shoals olaf shoals made one last push for a settlement between moscow and kiev he told mr zelinski

00:09:12.840 in munich on february 19th that ukraine should publicly renounce its nato aspirations and declare

00:09:18.280 neutrality as part of a wider european security deal between the rest and russia the pact would

00:09:23.240 be signed by mr putin and mr biden who would jointly guarantee ukraine security

00:09:28.040 mr zelinski replied that mr putin couldn't be trusted to uphold such an agreement and that

00:09:33.080 most ukrainians wanted to join nato his answer left german officials worried that the chances of peace

00:09:38.920 were fading what does it mean it means that neutrality was on the table and it ended up being rejected

00:09:45.880 and it ended up being the same well we can't trust you we can't trust them they're going to do this

00:09:50.040 we're going to do that we have to use deterrence why wasn't it even tried why weren't negotiations

00:09:57.240 actually tried beginning of this and when i see these images coming out of ukraine from day one

00:10:04.760 not just not just yesterday not just over the weekend i mean from day one and you see all this

00:10:09.400 happening right i get it both sides have their grievances one side attacked another they said

00:10:18.200 they felt threatened right the west the biden family the clinton family they were stealing with

00:10:26.840 both hands inside ukraine the corruption is off the charts but my question is what about the people

00:10:35.960 what about the people who are there on the ground that apparently don't have any say in any of this

00:10:43.080 were they asked were they asked do you want war or you want peace and so when people come and

00:10:47.800 they turn around and say oh well look at what happened you should have gone to war with russia

00:10:53.320 sooner or something and i say whoa hold on a second i wanted peace we wanted peace in ukraine and if

00:11:01.320 that meant a treaty and if that meant signing a deal if that meant doing a negotiation right you work

00:11:06.840 that out like adults you don't sit there and dig your heels in and say no when lives are on the line

00:11:16.120 and we've seen these new images now that are coming out of this suburb of kiev it's called bucha

00:11:22.440 and people are saying you have to react to it you have to react to it you have to react to it

00:11:26.440 and it's horrific it's atrocious it's disgusting we can't tell what happened there you're showing me

00:11:33.880 pictures of atrocities of a crime scene obviously a crime scene no context no explanation but our

00:11:41.880 leaders say and our media certainly says you have to react to this immediately right full pathos right

00:11:48.440 no no room for logos whatsoever no room for discussion or debate or negotiation or in you know basic

00:11:55.560 investigation what happened here what happened on the ground why did this happen who did this you

00:12:01.800 know who was targeted any of these basic functions that you would do if this were a law enforcement

00:12:08.520 situation when i say show me the evidence show me the evidence don't just make me react to something

00:12:16.040 emotionally because that's what they want they don't want you looking into any of this stuff anymore

00:12:22.600 they don't want you talking about the munich conference they don't want the wall street

00:12:25.800 journal coming out there and pointing out the fact that neutrality was on the table at one point

00:12:31.640 and it was rejected it was rejected and i want people to remember that there was always a path to peace

00:12:40.280 here there was always a path and if you think that this was unilateral that it was a one-way street nah

00:12:46.440 you're wrong and here at human events daily we're pro peace but we're also pro

00:12:54.360 truth we're going to tell the truth we're not going to lie about why these things are happening

00:12:58.280 and why these horrible images are coming across our timelines and our feeds every single day

00:13:03.480 we're not going to lie about who did what and if we can't confirm something and if something is

00:13:08.680 disputed then we're not going to act like it is confirmed and then demand you respond to it immediately

00:13:14.200 all right that's what a hack does that's what an activist does that's not reporting that's not

00:13:20.840 investigatory here we're going to look at the situation we're going to consider all angles and

00:13:26.920 find what's the best path forward for the people who are on the ground and the people who are in the

00:13:32.840 line of fire not the way our feckless elites treat them across the country americans are discovering

00:13:41.000 that if we want to change this nation we have to change the way the marketplace works woke

00:13:44.760 corporations are seeking to divide us big banks are freezing the accounts of people who disagree

00:13:49.560 with our political views and our supply chain is dependent upon countries that actively work

00:13:53.960 against our values it's time for a change and that change starts with you and your wallet that's

00:13:58.680 why i am proud to partner with public square the largest directory of freedom loving businesses

00:14:41.800 We wanted to see the victory, that it would be seen as well, but from Brussels from all of the rest.

00:14:52.800 The whole world could see this evening in Budapest today,

00:14:56.800 that the democratic democratic politics, the conservative political politics

00:15:02.800 and the foreign political politics are strong.

00:15:04.800 And we pray to Europe that this is not the past, this is the future.

00:15:08.800 This will be the future.

00:15:10.800 That, of course, Prime Minister Viktor Orban, a crushing, crushing victory, 20 points over the opposition party.

00:15:21.800 And some of the reports that are coming out are saying that he may have actually even defeated his opponent in their home race.

00:15:29.800 That means he may have even knocked his opponent completely out of office because his victory was so resounding.

00:15:35.800 What does this mean?

00:15:37.800 This is a path forward for populism nationalism.

00:15:41.800 It shows that populism nationalism is on the upswing in Central Europe and Eastern Europe.

00:15:47.800 The people want this type of government.

00:15:50.800 It is a resounding mandate.

00:15:52.800 And by the way, it is a huge blow, a massive blow to a number of people.

00:15:57.800 And we've seen this in his, you know, in his response.

00:16:00.800 If you watch the rest of his video, he called out all the opponents that he had to fight against.

00:16:04.800 The United States State Department, U.S. NGOs backed by everyone's favorite Hungarian billionaire, right?

00:16:10.800 The same Hungarian billionaire whose NGOs were run out of Hungary by Viktor Orban.

00:16:14.800 Understand the history there.

00:16:16.800 Know someone by their enemies.

00:16:18.800 You know someone by their enemies.

00:16:22.800 The mainstream media, left wing activists, the NGO crowd, they all stood against Orban.

00:16:30.800 And what did he do?

00:16:32.800 He stood up for traditional, normal values.

00:16:36.800 And by the way, they actually had a referendum.

00:16:39.800 And I think a lot of people haven't picked up on this.

00:16:42.800 There was a referendum that was also on the ballot yesterday in Hungary.

00:16:46.800 And so the referendum was nationwide.

00:16:48.800 And what was it on?

00:16:49.800 It was actually on all of these questions that are very similar to the new Florida anti-grooming law.

00:16:55.800 And there were questions about, do you want gender orientation teachings being given to children?

00:17:02.800 Do you want gender transformative options to be allowed to be given to children?

00:17:08.800 All of these things, a whole umbrella of these topics was covered in this referendum.

00:17:13.800 Do you know how resoundingly the people of Hungary rejected that?

00:17:17.800 Over 90%, according to some of the plurinary reports.

00:17:21.800 Over 90%.

00:17:22.800 Some people were saying it may even be 95%.

00:17:25.800 I'd love to see, by the way, the results of that in the United States if we took a referendum on that.

00:17:31.800 And I don't just mean one state or another.

00:17:33.800 I mean nationwide.

00:17:34.800 I remember Prop 8 in California, by the way.

00:17:36.800 I know we're not supposed to talk about that.

00:17:38.800 But I remember Prop 8 in California.

00:17:40.800 Go look that up and look at how the courts came in and overturned the will of the people.

00:17:44.800 But we're just a democracy, right?

00:17:46.800 We're just democracy.

00:17:47.800 This is just democracy.

00:17:48.800 We're not supposed to talk about all those pesky little votes being overturned by the courts, right?

00:17:56.800 That's how democracy works here in the United States.

00:17:59.800 And yet, so, you look at what Orban's done.

00:18:03.800 One of the main things that he drove home was the fact that he transformed his version of a conservative government into a populist nationalist government.

00:18:14.800 And one of the key planks in all of this was centering it around the family and family programs.

00:18:20.800 And what does that mean?

00:18:21.800 That means the government of Hungary is instituting a new plan, has instituted it for years.

00:18:26.800 I covered this on OAN.

00:18:27.800 Again, I interviewed the Hungarian Minister of Health and Families, who is now the president of Hungary, talking about all of this.

00:18:33.800 President Novak, an understanding that it was going to be credits and stipends for families to be able to afford to have more children, three children, four children and more be able to afford houses, be able to afford larger cars so they could have them.

00:18:49.800 Go in and actually use the power of government to directly enact benefits for the people of Hungary.

00:18:56.800 Kind of an amazing concept, right?

00:18:58.800 Conservatives in the United States are terrified of even having that discussion.

00:19:03.800 By the way, Poland is doing the same thing.

00:19:05.800 Conservatives in the United States are terrified of using the power of the federal government to directly achieve conservative outcomes.

00:19:12.800 But when you look at the success of Prime Minister Orban, when you look at the success of what's going on in Poland, you have to turn around and say,

00:19:20.800 maybe it's time for a new conservatism that embraces this, that is centered around protecting and growing and strengthening the American family.

00:19:30.800 The city of Shanghai. Now, I talked about this last week and I predicted that the lockdowns would extend to the entire city.

00:19:39.800 And now they have. So it started in that Pudong area. So that's the area east of the river.

00:19:43.800 Now it's the entire Puxi area as well, including the outlying districts of Shanghai.

00:19:47.800 Now understand, Shanghai is a city of 26 million people.

00:19:52.800 Now lockdowns have spread to the entire city.

00:19:56.800 There's people going out saying they can't even get food.

00:19:59.800 They can't even get basic resources out because they're stuck in their homes.

00:20:03.800 You have people marching across the streets, armed forces marching up and down the streets.

00:20:09.800 Medical forces wearing hazmat gear, holding rifles in some of the images I've seen, forcing people to stay in their homes.

00:20:16.800 No one can go to work.

00:20:17.800 We have no clue, by the way, what this is going to do for our supply chain because the port of Shanghai is shut down.

00:20:22.800 One of the largest ports in Asia, one of the largest ports in all of the world. 0.91

00:20:25.800 And because our stupid manufacturing system decided to send all of our jobs over there. 1.00

00:20:31.800 Well, guess what? 1.00

00:20:32.800 Now their entire city is on lockdown.

00:20:34.800 The port's on lockdown.

00:20:35.800 And now you're not going to be able to get everything that you need from this.

00:20:39.800 There's a video that came out actually of I know this is weird, a Ukrainian girl who has been put in quarantine in Shanghai.

00:20:48.800 Now it's in this Reuters interview that she was doing.

00:20:51.800 They don't really explain whether or not she's a refugee or she was living there already.

00:20:54.800 But go and listen to her and talk about the conditions inside these quarantine chambers. 1.00

00:20:59.800 There's no official information about any plans, any arrangements.

00:21:05.800 We don't know when we're going to leave.

00:21:07.800 There are no showers here and we're not allowed to receive any parcels from the outside world.

00:21:13.800 Understand, this is the future our elites want.

00:21:18.800 Total control.

00:21:19.800 Total authoritarianism.

00:21:21.800 No respect for individual rights.

00:21:23.800 No respect for individual medical decisions.

00:21:26.800 Can't get food?

00:21:27.800 Who cares?

00:21:28.800 Who cares?

00:21:29.800 There's no delivery.

00:21:30.800 There's no Uber Eats.

00:21:31.800 There's none of that stuff going on right now.

00:21:33.800 You're completely shut out.

00:21:35.800 So the question then becomes, how do you feed people when you're in a situation like this?

00:21:40.800 Remember, Maslow's basic hierarchy of needs is being completely broken down in the city of Shanghai right now.

00:21:47.800 And I got to say, you know, for me, it is kind of personal because I did live in Shanghai for two years.

00:21:52.800 So I lived in the Putuo district right along Suzhou Creek.

00:21:56.800 I had an apartment there, a little one-bedroom apartment when I was working in my early 20s right after college.

00:22:03.800 And I was working in international business there in Shanghai and spent a lot of time there.

00:22:09.800 I learned a lot.

00:22:10.800 I learned a lot.

00:22:11.800 I had a lot of friends there.

00:22:12.800 And I'm thinking about all of them.

00:22:14.800 I'm praying for all of them.

00:22:15.800 And I encourage everyone to do so as well.

00:22:17.800 The 26 million people that are now shut down by their own government, by their own leaders, by the party that controls their government, that doesn't give them a say in anything that's going on.

00:22:33.800 You know, the party, CCP always says, well, we lifted you out of poverty, so you have to support us.

00:22:38.800 We lifted you out of poverty.

00:22:39.800 But right now we can't eat.

00:22:41.800 Right now, you know, the waste is piling up in these houses.

00:22:45.800 Supermarkets are right there, but they're all shut down.

00:22:47.800 And you can't go outside.

00:22:48.800 You can't even get delivery.

00:22:49.800 So what do you do?

00:22:50.800 You're scrounging around.

00:22:52.800 And ladies and gentlemen, I've said this before.

00:22:56.800 It's going to get worse because that's what our leaders want here.

00:23:02.800 They want us on our knees and locked up.

00:23:07.800 And that's all the time we have today for Human Events Daily.

00:23:10.800 Remember our promise, our oath, our solemn vow to you to be good, be brief, be gone.

00:23:13.800 And remember your homework for us.

00:23:15.800 Share this out with one, just one of your normie friends and leave us your five star review, Apple, Spotify, wherever you get your podcasts.

00:23:21.800 What do we talk about today?

00:23:33.800 Next, the Wall Street Journal reporting that Zelensky was refusing to drop the NATO bid.

00:23:37.800 We talked about Viktor Orban declaring victory in Hungary.

00:23:40.800 And then finally, we talked about these incredible and insane lockdowns, 26 million people in the city of Shanghai.

00:23:46.800 But before we go, it's time for today's history break.

00:23:49.800 Today in 1968, civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

00:23:53.800 Gunned down Memphis, Tennessee by James Earl Ray.
