00:00:50.280 all caps 50 off this week this week only ladies and gentlemen welcome aboard tonight's edition

00:00:58.460 of human events daily powered by turning point usa tonight is august 18th 2022 anno domini first up

00:01:05.920 the mar-a-lago raid the fallout continues the judge saying that he's only going to unseal the partial

00:01:13.220 affidavit but yet giving the doj one week to respond with redactions next up president biden's stasi

00:01:20.480 the trump raid hurting voter trust in the fbi a new poll out of rasmussen third nbc their headline

00:01:28.160 sex between men not skin contact is fueling monkeypox new research suggests and finally

00:01:33.960 new york city's 9-11 tribute museum is closing due to financial struggles big problem with that

00:01:41.320 all this more ahead human events daily

00:01:42.960 hunter biden at that point hunter biden literally could have had the corpses of children in his

00:01:58.860 basement i would not have cared right it's like it's there's nothing first of all it's hunter biden

00:02:04.580 right it's not it's like it's not joe biden but even if joe like even whatever scope of joe biden's

00:02:11.500 corruption is like if you if we could just go down that rabbit hole endlessly and and understand that

00:02:17.260 he's getting kickbacks from hunter biden's deals in ukraine or wherever else right or china it is

00:02:23.960 infinitesimal compared to the corruption we know trump is involved in it's like it's like it's like a

00:02:31.520 firefly to the sun right i mean like there's just it doesn't even it doesn't even stack up against

00:02:37.060 trump university right trump university as a story is worse than anything that could be in

00:02:43.480 in hunter biden's laptop in my view you gotta love sam harris don't you folks it's like watching one of

00:02:49.060 those buddhist monks just pouring gasoline over themselves and then torching their entire career 1.00

00:02:54.120 that's basically what he did on that mr free speech making sense the reasonable classic liberal

00:03:03.080 liberal yeah uh the idw every single time sorry sam here in the real world we don't think that way

00:03:11.440 because we're not watching some reality tv show called get trump we're actually trying to run the

00:03:17.420 country and live our lives and be normal people whereas you seem to the craziness of the things

00:03:24.480 that this guy is saying admitting that it was a conspiracy to rig the election because we wanted

00:03:30.160 to uh block the laptop story from getting out doesn't matter what's on that story doesn't matter

00:03:36.420 what's in hunter biden's basement it's like did not have that on my bingo card today so that's that's

00:03:41.440 sam harris that's left but understand that he speaks for a lot of people in this country and they do

00:03:46.140 view this as a reality tv show but the judge down in west palm beach earlier today ruled that we're

00:03:53.940 going to get a partial a partial unsealed copy of the affidavit but we may not get it for another week

00:04:02.360 because he's going back to the doj saying look i can't let this whole thing stay under seal because

00:04:06.880 the public pressure is just too much but you've got to release some keep in mind that the judge has a

00:04:12.400 stake in this too because this is the same judge reiner that signed off on it in the first place

00:04:17.680 he's the one who's getting criticized rightly so publicly because of this dude you signed off on

00:04:24.780 a raid on a former president's house did you not think that anything might come of that did you not

00:04:31.680 any of you people did any of you guys think about this whether it's the fbi whether it's the doj whether

00:04:37.800 it's the judge whether it's the biden administration themselves did any of you think that this would

00:04:42.660 not become a big deal because obviously it has obviously it has i spoke to trump's lawyer christina

00:04:47.620 bob about this and even she told me that it sounded as if the fbi just wanted to keep things quiet

00:04:54.460 wasn't a big deal that it wasn't going to go anywhere it's hubris just understand it's hubris

00:05:02.040 it's like sam harris said it doesn't matter what tactics they use as long as they get what they want

00:05:10.180 but by the way newsweek came out and newsweek had a big exclusive yesterday i don't know if you guys

00:05:15.920 saw this they said we well we're hearing reports now that it might be that the raid was because of

00:05:21.800 the spy gate documents the underlying russiagate original documents from the cia and the fbi and that's

00:05:27.860 why we needed to go in there we needed to go so quickly and we needed to get them because of that

00:05:31.580 and it's exclusive you're only going to hear about our newsweek except actually newsweek sorry to tell

00:05:35.880 you that we covered it breaking the story here on human events daily a full week before you guys

00:05:42.300 came in before any of you brought this up so sorry maybe folks you should listen to human events daily

00:05:47.980 just a little bit more let's see we had the spy gate section down a week before anybody else we had

00:05:52.700 the warrant before anybody else what are we going to get next judge you might as well just release that

00:05:59.540 affidavit because i'm telling you something right now i am going to get it one way or another mark my

00:06:05.680 words i am going to get that document the last thing we heard though is that just the news and

00:06:11.520 judicial watch have a really interesting take on this because they pointed out that there was a case

00:06:17.200 back in 2009 judicial watch was suing former president clinton over some audio tapes that he made in the

00:06:24.020 white house and a left-wing judge amy berman jackson in dc ruled that the presidential records

00:06:30.700 act does not cover criminal activity it says that you can't do search and seizure unless it's a civil

00:06:38.560 matter and that presidents have the consideration whether or not to determine that their records

00:06:44.400 are personal or presidential you got a big problem there because they just found that there already was

00:06:51.200 a ruling all the way back in 2009 that 100 supports what president trump did it just happened to be

00:06:58.280 that the ruling was for president clinton again the two-tier justice system

00:07:02.340 there's only nine meals between civilization and chaos ladies and gentlemen of all the chaos in the

00:07:10.280 world right now the threat to the global food supply is more serious than ever case in point business

00:07:15.240 insider magazine just reported that we are in a global food crisis that will wreak havoc on local

00:07:20.800 economies and trigger civil unrest we already saw it happen in sri lanka now i don't know about you

00:07:26.140 but i want to be prepared and not be a victim but are you prepared and if not go to preparewithposo.com

00:08:09.020 preparewithposo.com link in the description we can hold the attorney general accountable for the

00:08:18.680 decision that he made without attacking a rank and file law enforcement personnel at the fbi the

00:08:28.360 republican party is the party of law and order our party stands with the men and women who serve on

00:08:34.720 the thin blue line at the federal and state and local level and these attacks on the fbi must stop

00:08:41.540 calls to defund the fbi are just as wrong as calls to defund the police the truth of the matter is

00:08:48.880 we need to get to the bottom of what happened we need to let the facts play out but more than anything else

00:08:56.780 the american people need to be reassured in the integrity of our justice system and the very

00:09:05.720 appearance of a recurrence of politics playing a role in decisions that the justice department

00:09:12.660 demands transparency as never before wow wow mike pence just coming out 0.96

00:09:24.060 supporting what the fbi did all i gotta say is keep licking them boots keep licking those boots

00:09:34.440 simp that's big simp energy right there that's the other i don't know might be might be big simp energy 0.63

00:09:42.060 might be a little lde i don't know mike pence a lot of lde coming from you right now don't like it

00:09:47.980 because let's go look away from that crisis of masculinity and let's go look at the actual

00:09:55.720 voters because the people of this country are not happy with what the fbi just did and you see this

00:10:02.280 by the way with independence as well i'm going to break it down because rasmussen has just given me

00:10:06.800 the internals of their new poll your impression of the fbi what's your impression what do you say

00:10:14.380 their favorables are now down to only about 50 percent used to be huge used to be huge did

00:10:24.120 the fbi's recent raid on the florida home before president donald trump make you trust the fbi

00:10:29.700 more or less 44 said it made us trust them less do you agree or disagree there is a group of

00:10:38.700 politicized thugs at the top of the fbi who were using the fbi as president joe biden's personal

00:10:46.480 gestapo you're now seeing you're now seeing 52 percent 52 percent agree with that and when you go in

00:10:55.800 you look at scrolling over here for independence even for independence you are seeing 49 percent

00:11:05.220 agreement of independence say that they agree with that that's your moderates even your moderates agree

00:11:11.480 that the fbi and the doj come across like the personal stasi i like to say stasi because i think

00:11:18.780 that's more accurate of the biden regime this is something that is totally swinging this country

00:11:26.280 we're also seeing what is this 64 64 of independents say

00:11:33.000 that it makes them trust the fbi less you got to understand folks the fbi is an institution in this

00:11:42.320 country not only were they highly respected because what they do in court cases but also

00:11:47.340 this massive pr push hollywood tv shows movies everything at the windbreak you see those windbreakers

00:11:55.380 fbi you know starting with the x files but there were even shows way before that

00:12:00.440 the talk about how great this institution is how the men and women they are just really putting their

00:12:07.280 putting their nose to the grindstone and trying to do the right thing for the american people

00:12:10.940 but then when you start talking about jager hoover when you start talking about the fact that he was

00:12:16.360 always spying on his personal political enemies and then you see people like merrick garland who get up

00:12:23.140 there and rather than explain to us what's going on who go to court to fight to keep under seal to

00:12:31.100 keep secret the reasons that we're seeing these massive egregious errors and we get these crazy

00:12:38.140 rumors that it was some that it was a paperwork dispute you know is it the president's personal

00:12:43.460 record or a presidential record he was the president we have libraries all over the country

00:12:49.920 of both parties i actually like going to those libraries i love those libraries it's the truman 0.63

00:12:54.620 library uh out in the midwest the kennedy libraries the roosevelt libraries reagan library i love going

00:13:01.760 to the libraries it's just it's something that's a hobby if i'm near one i'll go i think they're great

00:13:06.380 but all of those libraries have personal private records of the president's it's a normal thing so the

00:13:14.920 idea that you're going to turn that into a police state action i'm sorry it looks like exactly what it

00:13:21.980 is close skin to skin contact occurs obviously in an intimate sexual encounter but close skin to skin

00:13:34.420 contact could also occur under other circumstances that have nothing to do with sex so we haven't seen

00:13:42.540 an amount of that spilling over into the non-men who have sex with men population and hopefully it'll 0.96

00:13:50.760 stay at a very very low level that you can contain but you always got to take things like that seriously

00:13:57.020 and keep an open mind that you might see more of that you don't want to panic people because there's

00:14:03.920 no need to be overly concerned now but at the same time that you're not currently overly concerned you

00:14:10.920 should be currently very observant and currently very careful and currently on top of what's going

00:14:17.840 on and following it very carefully well the news story is out to us by way of nbc and i want to be

00:14:23.640 very clear that this is from nbcnews.com simply reading the headline i'm stating what it says because

00:14:30.260 there have been people who have accused me personally who have accused my friends who have accused others

00:14:37.480 of trying to talk about this research as if it's some sort of attack and as if it's some sort of

00:14:44.280 campaign that we're waging in the country no we're talking about what's going on in our world

00:14:50.580 and we're doing so with the truth on our side so here's what nbcnews.com states sex between men

00:14:59.760 not skin contact is fueling monkeypox the claim that skin to skin contact during sex between men

00:15:06.580 not intercourse itself drives most monkeypox transmission is likely backward a growing group

00:15:13.020 of experts say since the onset you just heard dr fauci there by the way since the onset of the

00:15:19.020 global monkeypox outbreak in may public health and infectious disease experts have told the public

00:15:23.400 that the virus is largely transmitting through skin to skin contact in particular during sex between

00:15:28.480 men now however an expanding cadre of experts has come to believe that sex between men itself

00:15:34.420 is likely the main driver of the global monkeypox transmission the skin contact that comes with sex

00:15:40.500 these experts say is probably much less of a risk factor in recent weeks a growing body of scientific

00:15:47.000 evidence including a trio of studies published in peer-reviewed journals as well as reports from

00:15:52.320 national regional and global health authorities has suggested that experts may have framed monkeypox

00:15:58.420 typical transmission route precisely backwards reconceiving the primary risk factors for

00:16:03.960 transmission is crucial because of how many it may affect guidance on reducing the risk of infection

00:16:08.900 including the question of whether demanding that people with the virus self-isolate has any

00:16:13.840 substantial impact on transmission um you're now hearing okay a growing body of evidence supports

00:16:20.100 that sexual transmission particularly through seminal fluids is occurring with the current mpx outbreak

00:16:24.420 says dr aruda hazara medical director of the university of chicago sexual wellness clinic referring to

00:16:31.060 monkeypox and the recent studies that found the virus in semen consequently scientists told nbc news that the

00:16:37.140 cdc and prevention other health public authority as well as other other health public authorities should

00:16:43.800 update their monkeypox communication strategies to be more strongly emphasized the centrality of intercourse

00:16:50.180 among gay and bisexual men who compromise nearly all u.s cases to the virus's spread and then it goes 0.77

00:16:57.860 through and here we go you have another doctor it looks like it's very clear to us that this is an

00:17:02.740 infection that is transmitting sexually for the vast majority of the time it also says people so there

00:17:08.020 are other people who are still debating it they're talking about the evidence and and so here's the question

00:17:13.140 right here's the question is it an std or not and for some reason this has become a political issue or

00:17:22.100 there are people out there trying to make it a political issue if this thing is an std and it can

00:17:27.540 be transmitted through sexual intercourse then yes it is a sexually transmitted disease just say that

00:17:34.180 i don't even know what's politically incorrect about that just say that's what it is that's how it's

00:17:39.700 being transmitted that it's an std maybe there are outlier cases where it's transmitted otherwise

00:17:46.660 but if you're going to make that claim you have to follow the evidence so just like anything else we

00:17:52.740 are going to continue following the evidence and the evidence shows that this is predominantly

00:17:59.540 a sexually transmitted disease and it's as simple as that now if you want to talk about treatment if you

00:18:06.420 want to talk about curing it if you want to talk about antivirals etc i'm all for it but this isn't

00:18:12.740 something where we're going to be going and shutting down the country where we're going to be going and

00:18:17.460 having to put up masks again or putting stuff um regarding children we're not doing it we're simply

00:18:24.180 not doing it because we're following the evidence and we're not letting you put one over us again

00:18:28.420 purely financial at this point but through covid the visitors just aren't back at this point

00:18:36.420 and we can't find a path for without financial support i did not see the plane approach the

00:18:41.940 building but it the impact threw me onto my desk and the next one to two minutes were the longest in

00:18:48.020 my life 9-11 one of the most horrific days in america's history you can all agree on that but now

00:18:54.820 we're seeing that in new york city down in lower manhattan the 9-11 tribute museum a 30 000 square

00:19:01.460 foot space located just three blocks from the world trade center site will shut its doors has now

00:19:06.660 already shut its doors actually just a few weeks shy of the 21st anniversary of the terror attacks

00:19:13.060 the greenwich street museum which opened in 2006 on liberty street has struggled to stay afloat since

00:19:18.660 the 2020 onset of the covet 19 pandemic new york post has the story the co-founder of

00:19:24.660 the museum stated that two-thirds of their income annually came from earned income from admissions

00:19:30.820 we completely closed for six months in 2020 we've been averaging we had been averaging 300 000 visitors

00:19:36.500 a year but last year they only had a total of 26 000 visitors and it completely annihilated the earned

00:19:42.740 income now this is different by the way than the museum that's there actually at the base of where

00:19:50.100 the world trade center previously stood that museum is directly it is the site right when you're in the

00:19:57.060 museum you're actually in the site of the world trade center um previous world trade center this

00:20:01.540 is a museum that's a couple of blocks away the main museum i've been to several times highly highly

00:20:08.820 recommend go to that take your children to that let them understand not only what happened but how we

00:20:17.460 got there the fact that these terrorists and some most of them were saudi some of them are not they came

00:20:26.420 they attacked us on our soil they got in through our porous borders lacks airline security and they

00:20:32.420 were able to do what they did because of their vision of the world and because they wanted the united

00:20:37.220 states out of the middle east they went and attacked civilians but the fact that new york city apparently

00:20:46.660 and it goes through the article the city government isn't stepping up to provide funding for the 9 11

00:20:54.420 museum that's just wrong i'm sorry that's just completely and utterly wrong you've got to step up and do

00:21:01.460 something about this because they've got program they've got money for everything in new york city

00:21:06.740 they've got money to house illegal immigrants because we just covered the story the other day

00:21:11.540 that mayor adams is out there and he's going to be hiring what is it he's getting a luxury hotel

00:21:16.900 in times square for illegal immigrants he'll go do that but there's no money for the 9 11 museum 1.00

00:21:25.700 where are we as a country where are we as a country because keep in mind if you're not from the

00:21:30.100 u.s if you're someone from uh from overseas you know that new york city is a symbol of the united

00:21:35.220 states it when they think of the u.s they think of new york city and then everything else comes after

00:21:40.660 that but just kind of how it is new york city they consider as the main city of the united states so in

00:21:44.980 the main city of the united states in the main square of the united states time square okay time square

00:21:51.460 they've got money for illegal immigrants to stay in a luxury hotel but in lower manhattan 0.85

00:21:56.980 they can't they're shutting down a 9 11 museum that's wrong it's 100 wrong and as a country we

00:22:06.260 need to number one put pressure on the government of new york to do that if we have to put together

00:22:11.300 funding if we have to crowdfund this i'm all for it let's start to give send go send us your email

00:23:07.060 you get your politics what do we talk about today first up the mar-a-lago raid judge unsealing

00:23:12.260 the partial affidavit giving the doj one week to respond we're probably going to get partials

00:23:17.060 but mark my words i will get the entire thing next president biden's stasi trump raid hurts voter

00:23:23.620 trust in the fbi third nbc coming out with the headline sex between men not skin contact is fueling

00:23:30.660 monkeypox new research suggests and finally new york city's 9 11 tribute museum to close due to

00:23:37.540 financial struggles i really don't like that last story i really think there's got to be a way that

00:23:43.460 that we can work together maybe consolidate the museums come up with a crowdfund we will do

00:23:48.500 something to make that happen but before we go i'm going to tell you guys about today's history break

00:23:55.140 on this day all the way back in 1909 over 100 years the mayor of tokyo yuki ozaki presented washington dc

00:24:06.180 with 2000 japanese cherry trees which president william howard taft decided to plant near the potomac

00:24:13.300 river and of course the jefferson memorial something between myself and my wife tanya tay
