00:01:08.240 In terms of what makes us vulnerable to misinformation, crisis events themselves make us vulnerable to misinformation, especially when there's uncertainty about what's actually going on and anxiety about what we can do to prevent harm or what we can do to protect ourselves or take action to respond to the crisis event.

00:01:33.360 And so the pandemic, COVID-19 pandemic has both uncertainty and anxiety, and it has it for an extended period of time.

00:01:41.140 And so, absolutely, this makes us acutely vulnerable to, you know, going out to seek information, to trying to come up with explanations of what's going on to help us make better decisions and therefore to being vulnerable both to misinformation when people are accidentally getting things wrong and disinformation when people are intentionally trying to manipulate us.

00:01:59.660 Today is November 2nd, 2022, Anno Domini, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily powered by Turning Point USA.

00:02:07.840 Today, I'm Jack Posobiec, and that was Kate Starbird, who is a member of this election integrity disinformation misinformation project, the partnership working directly with the Department of Homeland Security, serving on an advisory board herself and this nebulous shadowy group, which includes the likes of Renee DiResta and others, have been working for years behind the scenes to censor the internet

00:02:36.300 and manipulate the narrative. We're also learning now that Elon Musk and his team, working with the current team, this guy, Yoel Roth, the head of safety and integrity at Twitter, have been working with the same group all along.

00:02:51.800 To make sense of this and understand what's really going on here, these implications, I want to invite today's special guest co-host, Mr. Darren Beattie, a former White House speechwriter and official and the editor of Revolver News. Darren, thanks so much for joining us.

00:03:05.240 Great to be here. Great to be here. Thank you, Jack.

00:03:07.940 So what are we to make of this, Darren? This idea that Elon Musk, Twitter, the DHS leaks, all of it seems to be combined, basically. They're all the same group of people.

00:03:18.460 Absolutely. They're all the same group of people. It's all a network. It's all this sort of people employed by the disinformation architecture.

00:03:27.580 And as we all know, disinformation is the new favorite censorship predicate of the regime because it's not just calling somebody racist and so forth, which gives them social punishment.

00:03:41.860 Say someone's spreading disinformation suggests a national security violation and therefore helps the regime's intention to marshal the full weight and power of the national security state to shut up anybody who questions them on election issues,

00:04:00.320 on health issues such as COVID principally and on January 6th on immigration.

00:04:06.580 It's the whole gamut. And one thing that's really interesting.

00:04:10.920 Well, and to to your point, we've actually been able to go through and pinpoint that that very same person, Kate Starbird, was one of the people that was instrumental in flagging the Hunter Biden laptop as a piece of disinformation in October of 2020.

00:04:26.280 So everybody remembers that story. Everybody remembers that that censorship played a direct role in the outcome of the 2020 election.

00:04:33.220 This individual was directly tied to that censorship.

00:04:38.300 Absolutely. And not just in this case, disinformation, but specifically evil Russian disinformation.

00:04:46.760 Yes, of course. Yes. Yes. The worst of all.

00:04:48.900 She had the support of how many in IC, quote unquote, intelligence community mediocrities just destroyed what little was left of their credibility to add, say, oh, yes, they're right.

00:05:03.700 This is a Russian operation. It all turned out to be phony.

00:05:07.320 It all has all the fingerprints. I love that phrase. All the fingerprints of Russian of a Russian operation. Right. 0.91

00:05:12.440 There's no it always I always go back to when General H.R. McMaster was on Joe Rogan and Rogan sort of as an aside, says, have you heard about these potential chaos agents and agitators at January 6th?

00:05:27.240 And McMaster immediately says, who you mean, the Russians, as if the Russians were behind January 6th, because this is what he's been trained to think.

00:05:35.540 He's been trained to think that if there's any false flag out there, it must be, of course, done by the Russians. 0.82

00:05:42.740 And this is a perfect segue into our friend, Renee DiResta.

00:05:47.400 Yes, this is a perfect segue.

00:05:50.320 So explain who she is for everyone and what role she plays.

00:05:53.980 OK, so she and I have a, shall we say, vexed history because this thing called the Election Integrity Partnership, which is the sham project.

00:06:06.060 It's backed by the Berkman Klein Center at Harvard, which is a censorship board.

00:06:11.180 See, now this new thing is that every major university needs its own basically censorship laboratory.

00:06:17.440 And so Harvard, Stanford, Harvard, Harvard is a few, I think, actually, Georgetown.

00:06:23.300 Harvard has the Berkman Klein Center and the Shorenstein Center run by really someone who looks hideous.

00:06:30.720 And Stanford has the Internet Observatory and they all have their own thing.

00:06:36.340 And so Renee DiResta is one of these censorship disinformation stars.

00:06:44.540 She's in the she's in the same constellation as Nina Yankovic, not quite as charming and not as ridiculous, frankly, but arguably more sinister.

00:06:55.740 And this Election Integrity Partnership group that she was part of this report, basically going on about all the things,

00:07:04.140 all the speech that they would just love to censor, all the speech they would just love to get their hands on and crush.

00:07:10.360 And she did a very detailed report on how Revolver News, my news organization, was responsible for seeding the narrative of a color revolution leading up to 2020.

00:07:24.960 And it was actually, in some ways, her report is instructive and helpful to me because the whole case is like, look how influential Revolver and Darren Beatty has been in seeding this narrative of color revolution.

00:07:36.880 And right. Exactly.

00:07:37.680 All these tools to show how, oh, it went from here to here to here.

00:07:41.120 But ultimately, it's a joke.

00:07:43.080 It's what are we to make?

00:07:44.220 What are we to make, Darren?

00:07:45.760 And we got about 90 seconds left in the segment.

00:07:47.720 What are we to make of this idea that Elon is meeting with people like this, meeting with these other NGOs?

00:07:54.260 I think he should just cut them out completely.

00:07:57.080 He should trust his instincts and go with freedom of speech.

00:08:00.240 Don't let any of these people with this track record or any track record tell him what to do.

00:08:05.840 Well, they're all jokes.

00:08:07.420 They're all sinister.

00:08:08.980 And I don't know if we should wait until after the break to discuss Renee DiResta's Alabama secret.

00:08:15.740 She has a dark secret.

00:08:16.860 I call it the dark Alabama secret of Renee DiResta, which disqualifies her. 0.98

00:08:22.360 I mean, there's a basic expected threshold of maliciousness and duplicity and ridiculousness that we ascribe to these disinformation clowns. 0.91

00:08:35.660 But in her case, it's more than people could even imagine if they don't know what she's behind. 0.81

00:08:40.640 So we'll just leave it as a teaser.

00:08:42.080 She's got the dark Alabama secret, and you won't believe what it is.

00:08:47.080 And we're going to get into it when the break is done.

00:08:50.420 How about that for a promo, folks?

00:08:52.080 Stay tuned because we're coming up back with Darren Beattie discussing the Alabama secret of Renee DiResta.

00:09:00.360 How does it tie in to LinkedIn and Reid Hoffman?

00:09:03.980 You'll have to find out by staying tuned.

00:09:06.520 Same Poso time, same Poso channel.

00:09:10.560 Don't change that dial.

00:09:12.480 We'll be right back.

00:09:13.060 There's an entire new economy being created right now, and it's filled with patriotic companies that have had enough of cancel culture and the left.

00:09:23.380 Now, one of these companies that you can support every day and all you have to do is be getting dressed.

00:09:27.500 I'm talking about Undertak boxers.

00:09:29.620 Yes, that's right.

00:09:30.340 Undertak boxers.

00:09:31.400 Got to tell you, guys, they are the greatest boxers ever made.

00:09:34.220 They have to be probably.

00:09:35.420 Why?

00:09:35.700 Because they have literally been tested by special forces operators.

00:09:38.440 They are made with high quality material that's antimicrobial, anti-pilling, and moisture wicking so you stay fresh and dry all day long.

00:09:44.880 They're my favorite boxers.

00:09:45.860 What can I say?

00:09:46.700 They come with a sturdy yet comfortable waistband that does not crack or loosen.

00:09:50.400 Undertak is durable, ultralight, and shrink resistant.

00:09:52.980 Here is the best part.

00:09:54.140 They're almost 30% less than the woke designer brands with the non-binary models. 1.00

00:10:13.340 Link in the description.

00:10:16.980 And we're back with Darren Beattie of Revolver News.

00:10:19.860 And where we left off, we were talking about Renee DiResta, this member of the, shall we say, the disinformation archipelago.

00:10:28.500 And she's involved in these censorship operations of the Internet, involved with, as we said,

00:10:33.880 earlier this week, the DHS leaks, which came out of The Intercept.

00:10:38.080 She's part of this shadowy coalition.

00:10:40.160 And Just the News and John Solomon, really a lot of people have been talking about these revolvers,

00:10:43.800 been talking about this for a long time.

00:10:45.180 And we're just digging deeper and deeper into their operations.

00:10:48.240 But Darren, you've got an overview of one of their operations, one of the ops that they ran in Alabama a few years ago.

00:10:57.560 Can you break that down for us?

00:10:58.580 What is the Alabama secret?

00:11:01.580 The dark Alabama secret of Renee DiResta, who's made her career ginning up the threat of Russian disinformation,

00:11:10.460 just like the Hunter thing, which turned out not to be that at all.

00:11:13.860 But she took it a step further.

00:11:16.380 She was involved with this organization called New Knowledge that was caught red-handed creating fake Russian accounts

00:11:24.900 and then directing those fake Russian accounts to support GOP candidates so that they can then go and say,

00:11:33.740 look at all of these GOP people being supported by the Russians. 0.50

00:11:38.740 We need more funding to fight the problem of Russian influence and infiltration,

00:11:44.660 which was actually just a false flag on their part in the first place.

00:11:48.300 It's really one of those things that you just can't make up.

00:11:51.700 An organization that's dedicated to fighting Russian disinformation, that's creating fake Russians like the supply and demand problem.

00:12:00.240 They didn't have enough actually, you know, actual Russian disinformation.

00:12:03.900 So they created it themselves.

00:12:06.860 And that's 100 percent true.

00:12:07.840 And people can go look this up.

00:12:09.120 It's all it happened in Alabama starting in 2017, happened in other races.

00:12:12.820 They created Russian accounts, backed Republican candidates, GOP candidates, and then turned around and reported on their own operation,

00:12:21.360 but left out the part that they were the ones that created it.

00:12:24.220 And then when they were caught by this, and it was funded by Reid Hoffman from LinkedIn, by the way,

00:12:29.000 when they were caught, their response was, well, this was this was a warning to show you what it would be like.

00:12:34.860 No, it's it's really incredible.

00:12:39.000 And you would think like, you know, the disinformation crowd, the more sophisticated elements they gave basically clown world too much credit

00:12:48.920 because you had people like Dan Freed and Alina Polyakovsky, who are sort of senior members of the disinformation crowd.

00:12:57.340 And they just they really disavowed DeResta's operation hard.

00:13:03.000 They were embarrassed by it.

00:13:04.140 They were thinking, oh, my God, something this egregious is going to just affect our scam, our disinformation scam.

00:13:11.640 We need to distance from it. 0.97

00:13:13.060 It turns out in this clown world, you just fail up. 0.93

00:13:16.440 And in fact, the reason DeResta is in the news cycle now is not because of her Alabama dark secret. 0.99

00:13:21.960 It's not because of the Election Integrity Partnership.

00:13:24.160 It's because the current head of Twitter's integrity and safety under Elon Musk is favorably citing her work, favorably citing the work.

00:13:35.680 And referring to her, I love this, as an independent analyst or independent analysis.

00:13:40.880 Well, I want to switch gears a little bit here, Darren, to give this story its due,

00:13:45.320 because there's some more actual independent analysis that's going on from Revolver News.

00:13:50.260 And we have a clip that we can play of this, of a fantastic video.

00:13:54.200 We're going to play a short portion of it that you've put together regarding this story that you will not let go like a dog with a bone.

00:14:00.900 The January 6th pipe bomber.

00:14:02.880 Guys, let's play that clip and show everyone what we're talking about.

00:14:05.480 What you're looking at is the actual frame speed of the security video the FBI released to the public of the January 6th pipe bomb suspect.

00:14:13.700 It's just one frame per second.

00:14:16.220 You're going to learn now why that is virtually impossible, unless this tape is not the original source footage.

00:14:23.160 A comprehensive study in 2021 by one of the world's leading authorities on security cameras found that 0% of cameras in use in America today operate at just one frame per second.

00:14:36.060 Statistically speaking, the odds that the video the FBI released to the public was unaltered is less than 1%.

00:14:42.220 The average gas station in America uses 15 frames per second.

00:14:47.640 That would make the DNC National Headquarters 15 times worse than the average gas station.

00:14:53.580 Darren, what's going on with this video?

00:14:56.020 Did the FBI do something here or does the DNC just not able to afford an actual video camera?

00:15:01.120 You know, it really, really doesn't look good for the FBI, for Merrick Garland, and for the entire Fed's erection hoax.

00:15:09.920 Just as a small bit of context, we've been on this DNC pipe bomber surveillance footage thing.

00:15:16.280 Our last major piece, we proved definitively that the FBI is withholding critical footage that would have shown the alleged pipe bomber actually planting the bomb.

00:15:25.460 Why they would withhold that, who knows?

00:15:28.900 Why the Democrats themselves wouldn't demand that the FBI release this because it ostensibly involves a MAGA terrorist planting an explosive device at their national headquarters?

00:15:40.260 Who knows?

00:15:41.060 But what we found in this latest report is it's not just that the Feds are censoring critical footage.

00:15:46.680 It's that they may very well have tampered with the footage that they actually released.

00:15:52.360 And the case for that is overwhelming because you can see in the frame rate at average of 1.2 frames per second in the DNC video, that's just totally out of line with industry standards.

00:16:05.680 Zero percent of operative surveillance footage in 2021, as of 2021, is less than five frames per second.

00:16:15.040 So we're led to believe that the DNC has statistically anomalously poor security, far worse than any gas station, any McDonald's, and so forth.

00:16:27.800 And yet this is the headquarters of the Democrats.

00:16:32.020 Important people work there.

00:16:33.520 Important people pass through there.

00:16:35.220 This is in Washington, D.C., one of the crime capitals of the world.

00:16:39.860 Well, DNC headquarters is where Watergate, you know, the Watergate scandal was about a break in into the DNC, biggest scandal in American political history.

00:16:49.500 And you're telling me that the DNC, which actually does pay for physical security, just feet away from where the pipe bomb was planted.

00:16:58.320 Not only do they not want to splurge for a camera that's just as good as a McDonald's, but somehow they were able to find at an antique store somewhere the only security camera that had a Jurassic level of frame rate of 1.2 that you can't even buy.

00:17:15.040 You couldn't even buy that bad of a security equipment on Amazon right now.

00:17:19.900 This is like an old flip video or something. 0.97

00:17:21.820 It's ridiculous. 0.94

00:17:22.640 Exactly.

00:17:23.020 I even checked when I – so whenever we take pictures of our kids, we've got, you know, a four-year-old and a two-year-old.

00:17:28.180 I use the live photo feature on my iPhone because they're always running around.

00:17:34.420 You can never get a good facial shot of them or a smile.

00:17:37.400 Even that's 15 frames per second.

00:17:39.300 I actually looked that up after I read your story this morning.

00:17:41.640 Even my iPhone live photo has a better frame rate than this.

00:17:47.500 Darren, 30 seconds.

00:17:48.940 What is going on here?

00:17:49.920 Well, what's going on is I think they tampered with it, and there's one way to find out definitively, and that is what I'm calling on our elected officials to do, and that is demand the chain of custody of these DNC surveillance tapes.

00:18:06.520 That's the smoking gun.

00:18:08.080 If we keep focused on that and demand the chain of custody, the whole fake narrative collapses.

00:18:16.040 Amen.

00:18:16.720 Stay tuned.

00:18:17.080 We'll be right back.

00:18:17.680 Darren Beattie coming up next.

00:18:31.740 We already know that the administration is doing everything in their power to keep you in the dark until after the midterm elections, which begs the question, what's going to happen when there's no incentive to hold back?

00:19:27.040 Link in the description.

00:19:30.620 You overthrew the legitimate Ukraine in 2014.

00:19:36.780 Tell us about your plans for nuclear war with Russia.

00:19:41.840 Stop provoking nuclear war with Russia. 0.55

00:19:45.920 You're going to kill us with nuclear war. 0.92

00:19:49.240 Russia's the enemy. 0.96

00:19:50.740 Russia is not the enemy. 0.84

00:19:52.820 Russia is the enemy. 0.98

00:19:54.040 Stop getting us in the nuclear war with Russia.

00:19:58.420 No nuclear war.

00:20:02.000 Victoria and Korea.

00:20:03.940 Victoria, no and China's overgrowth. 0.54

00:20:08.960 Mr. President, there's more people that are going to get hurt if we go into nuclear war.

00:20:18.420 Right now, we're on the verge of nuclear war.

00:20:23.720 Thanks to what you did in Ukraine in 2014.

00:20:28.940 So that was anti-war hecklers going after Barack Obama, former president in Detroit, Michigan, talking about nuclear war, Ukraine, everything that's going on.

00:20:43.700 The backstopping of all that is the fact that Washington Post, very deep within this 15 to 50 paragraph article, puts out the fact that apparently the U.S. does, by the way, unbeknownst to any of us, have boots on the ground in Ukraine.

00:21:00.880 Now, this isn't these sort of former U.S. military members or intelligence members, not covert operatives who, of course, have been there the entire time in Ukraine.

00:21:11.180 No, we actually have active duty, uniformed military members on the ground in Ukraine.

00:21:16.560 But we're told we're told they're just there performing inspections.

00:21:21.360 Darren, should this shock us or should we all realize that this is the same type of mission creep that has always happened whenever the United States gets involved in one of these situations going all the way back to Vietnam?

00:21:33.220 It shouldn't shock us, but it is deeply troubling because all it does is dramatically amplify the probability of dangerous escalation here, because when you have, you know, and as you said, we've been involved, we've been present in various capacities for a long time.

00:21:53.860 Biden, Biden, in one of his many gaffes, he was I think he was talking to like the 86th Airborne, which is usually among the first groups, I believe, to go into these places.

00:22:04.500 He basically gaffed and said, OK, you guys are going into Ukraine.

00:22:08.780 So there have been various groups there in official and official capacities.

00:22:13.980 But for this escalation to occur, think about it.

00:22:17.480 Think about the prospect of just a quote unquote accident and all of the gray area that surrounds the.

00:22:25.360 Well, the headline, of course, you know, look at these.

00:22:27.920 So Russia has been employing these Iranian made kamikaze drones lately with great effect in some of these areas. 1.00

00:22:33.260 It's hard to shoot them down.

00:22:34.420 The radar signature is is is very small.

00:22:36.980 And so they've been using small arms, light arms, rifles in some cases.

00:22:40.800 So you see some headline where, OK, they're inspecting ammunition.

00:22:44.880 They're said they're said to be inspecting weapons and ammunition.

00:22:48.260 Well, that's exactly what the kamikaze drones are targeting. 0.93

00:22:51.760 So the headline comes and just imagine the headline.

00:22:55.060 OK, these guys are over there.

00:22:56.180 These soldiers are inspecting the javelins or whatever else we're sending over high Mars.

00:23:00.120 And then suddenly the headline comes 15 American soldiers die in Russian attack.

00:23:05.620 Exactly.

00:23:06.060 And then just imagine the the fallout from that.

00:23:10.700 And you can the dominoes fall begin to fall very, very quickly.

00:23:14.880 Once there are American soldiers that died, no matter what the circumstances are.

00:23:19.680 And this is understandable.

00:23:21.100 We love our soldiers.

00:23:22.820 And if something happens to them, it's it's a very serious issue.

00:23:26.760 But what's going on is escalation by virtue of deliberately, consciously, strategically putting those soldiers in a position to get killed such that we can use the leverage of that.

00:23:40.480 In the media to generate the required political pressure in order for us to escalate to a level that is not in America's interest and really is not in anyone's interest other than arguably the crooks that are running the globalist American empire.

00:23:56.880 But I would even go out on a limb and say it's not really in their interest either. 0.62

00:24:00.760 They're just nuts at this point if they're willing to push things this level.

00:24:06.440 And so hopefully the escalation doesn't happen.

00:24:10.880 It may not, but it just adds an totally unnecessary ingredient of uncertainty and danger that I guess we want to say, look, Russia, if you screw up here, if one of our guys soldiers is killed, then we reserve the right and the option to use this in the media in order to create the support that we need to move things to the next level.

00:24:37.180 Which, of course, is exactly what happened in the Gulf of Tonkin with the firing on the U.S. Navy vessel.

00:24:43.140 It's what happened in the U.S. with the USS Maine in Havana Harbor prior to the Spanish American War when we when we invaded Cuba.

00:24:50.420 I mean, it's it's the same exact narrative that we've seen play in again and again when it comes to these situations.

00:24:56.960 Obviously, Pearl Harbor, that was a direct attack on U.S. soldiers.

00:25:01.100 But prior to that, and you can see in the data that the polls did were not supportive of the American people getting into World War Two.

00:25:09.480 You're still seeing that right now where people don't want troops involved, but they are willing to support Ukraine.

00:25:16.160 They're willing to start at some level.

00:25:18.140 But at the same time, of course, we're seeing these dollar signs and these price tags go up higher and higher on this.

00:25:23.920 Darren, give us a couple of minutes, just one minute left.

00:25:27.160 Let us know what are your coordinates?

00:25:28.900 What's Revolver working on?

00:25:30.060 Where can people go to find more of this bombshell report when it comes to the pipe bombs?

00:25:35.480 Well, I encourage everyone.

00:25:37.100 We need to amplify this.

00:25:38.840 It's white hot.

00:25:39.800 We need it even hotter.

00:25:41.340 Revolver.news is where the pipe bomb piece is. 0.99

00:25:45.040 And I've said in other interviews, the regime, the crooks that run the regime think we're all suckers. 1.00

00:25:51.420 They think everyone listening to this is a sucker. 0.99

00:25:53.780 They think that, oh, we might have found them out, but we're not going to pursue it. 0.92

00:25:57.460 We're going to lose track.

00:25:58.640 We're going to lose our attention.

00:26:00.060 We're not going to do it.

00:26:01.560 Well, for once, let's prove them wrong.

00:26:03.960 Let's amplify this narrative and shove it down Merrick Garland's throat so everything is teed up for real accountability in the coming months.

00:26:13.140 So it's revolver.news.

00:26:14.860 Read the pipe bomber piece and share it with everyone you know.

00:26:19.100 And I couldn't agree more.

00:26:20.140 And should the new Congress take over?

00:26:22.980 You know, I said this on the Benny Johnson show the other day, but I said, look, let's let's keep the January 6th committee going.

00:26:29.520 And if we're going to appoint a new chief investigator, it might as well be Darren Beattie.

00:26:33.080 Darren, would would you do it?

00:26:34.420 Would you take on the role if so chosen?

00:26:37.140 If called, I would be willing to serve.

00:26:39.340 All right.

00:26:40.100 There we go.

00:26:40.600 It's confirmed, folks.

00:26:41.500 He's on the record.

00:26:42.460 Darren, thanks so much for joining us.

00:26:43.660 I encourage everyone to go to revolvernot.news.

00:26:46.680 Check out that story.

00:26:47.580 Check out all the stories on there.

00:26:48.960 Of course, humanevents.com, Postmillennial.

00:26:51.040 We're posting stuff constantly.

00:26:52.740 Darren's posting constantly.

00:26:53.940 Elon Musk, as a message to you, sir, you are the man in the arena right now.

00:26:59.180 And we respect that.

00:27:00.700 And we cherish that.

00:27:01.940 And we support that.

00:27:03.020 We support accomplishment and achievement and meritocracy here.

00:27:07.080 But what we don't support is censorship, censorship of ideas, of people, and going back to the same groups of this disinformation archipelago that created the system at Twitter and across the Internet that you got involved to fix and hopefully to change.

00:27:27.360 Not just for yourself or the profit of the company, but the betterment of humanity.

00:27:31.000 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
