00:00:00.000 Twitter established a revolutionary committee to target and punish dissidents.
00:00:06.440 Yes, the Twitter files, too, are out and they are hot.
00:00:10.980 We're going to get into it all with Libby Emmons.
00:00:13.240 And I want to remind you that myself, Steve Bannon in the war room, Tucker Carlson, Charlie Kirk in his show, Tim Cast IRL, and yes, even Dr. Taylor Marshall will all be doing our shows live from America Fest.

00:00:34.520 We'll see, right?
00:00:35.560 We are all going to be out there on Meteor Road doing our shows in rapid fire succession.

00:01:00.800 I'll see you there.
00:01:02.080 Let's get into it.
00:01:02.880 Mr. Dorsey, welcome.
00:01:14.840 Thanks for being here.
00:01:16.280 I want to read a few quotes about Twitter's practices, and I just want you to tell me if they're true or not.
00:01:22.240 Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives.
00:01:27.320 Is that true of Twitter?
00:01:28.900 No.
00:01:30.600 I don't know what Twitter is up to.
00:01:32.720 It sure looks like to me that they're censoring people, and they ought to stop it.
00:01:37.160 Are you censoring people?
00:01:38.880 No.
00:01:40.220 Twitter shadow banning prominent Republicans.
00:01:43.580 It's bad.
00:01:45.120 Is that true?
00:01:46.320 No.
00:01:46.560 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by Turning Point USA.
00:01:52.880 Today is December 9th, 2022.
00:01:55.580 Anno Domine.
00:01:57.640 Well, well, well.
00:01:59.620 The talented Mr. Dorsey was speaking before Congress.
00:02:05.020 2018, September 8th.
00:02:06.600 I remember because I was there sitting next to Mr. Alex Jones, believe it or not.
00:02:11.300 And I remember that testimony very, very well when he testified that Twitter does not shadow ban conservatives, that Twitter does not commit censorship.
00:02:23.400 Well, now the Twitter files are out and they're showing this because we get the latest tranche just last night from Barry Weiss.
00:02:32.740 And this shows, by the way, not only were they shadow banning, not only were they adding people to lists, do not amplify, no retweets, search bans, all of the rumors that you thought were true.
00:02:45.240 It's actually far worse than we ever believed.
00:02:48.080 And Barry, even most importantly, and I wish that she had actually shown more of this, showed us what it looks like for the first time ever to be a moderator or an administrator at Twitter, having that engineer level access of someone's account, someone's account and showed us specifically the libs of TikTok account.
00:03:07.900 And it showed not only can you see someone's current IP address, you can read someone's direct messages.
00:03:17.360 The implications for this are hot and heavy.
00:03:20.360 And so we are bringing in Libby Edmonds is here as our co-host, my favorite special co-host to break down all of this for us.
00:03:26.920 So Libby, what does it mean?
00:03:29.180 Let's let's go down from the first question.
00:03:31.360 What does it mean that we now have direct evidence, hard evidence that Twitter does, in fact, shadow ban conservatives?
00:03:41.640 It means that Jack Dorsey lied.
00:03:44.620 It means Vajaya Gade or however you say her name.
00:03:48.020 I'm sorry, God lied.
00:03:49.760 They they made it up.
00:03:51.380 They use different terminology.
00:03:52.780 And so they decided that they could say that they were not shadow banning because they were, in fact, what they called visibility filtering instead.
00:04:02.000 It has been so fascinating to see the inner workings of this company and of how conservatives were treated.
00:04:08.920 And also we had Elon Musk the other day speaking about how this was inevitable to a certain extent because the bias of the engineers living in San Francisco was a very left leaning bias.
00:04:23.260 And they couldn't even tell that that's what they were doing.
00:04:25.940 Also, Jack Dorsey spoke in Congress, as you said, in 2018.
00:04:29.160 He talked about in his opening remarks, he talked about how important it was to him and his team that unconscious bias be realized and not be given into.
00:04:39.000 And in fact, they were giving into their unconscious bias all over the place.
00:04:43.440 And since that time, we have seen repeatedly that conservative ideas and, you know, things that people have said that were called by mainstream media have turned out to be true over and over and over again.
00:04:57.540 That's 100 percent right. And and what I think that was so telling, it's like this isn't exactly news to you or me.
00:05:03.820 But you know what? Now I can go in front of some normie and I can show them these documents and say, hey, this is what it looks like on the back end of Twitter.
00:05:11.560 This is what they do. These are the lists they put you on. These are the people who were put on the list.
00:05:16.100 And by the way, I would I would say again, you know, Alex was on here the other day talking about how everything should be released.
00:05:21.280 Please do release everything because the Anons will figure this out, Elon.
00:05:24.140 The Anons will figure this out and we'll have this thing analyzed and sourced and reported faster than you could believe because we'll break down the entire thing and crowdsource it.
00:05:35.140 But what we need now is a full data analysis of everyone who was affected by this program, because.
00:05:43.420 It doesn't matter what, you know, it matters what you can prove in court.
00:05:47.080 And now I can show this to someone that isn't a conservative and I talk about the information silo a lot.
00:05:52.260 This idea that, look, for the people that aren't going to listen to human events daily, they're not going to watch War Room.
00:05:57.240 They're not going to tune into Tim Pool. Right.
00:05:59.280 Guess what? I've got hard evidence now. Hard evidence.
00:06:02.040 And this is, of course, why The New York Times and everyone else is is refusing to even report on it.
00:06:05.680 But it's at least something you can put in front of someone and show.
00:06:08.180 But Libby, what I want to explain to people and I want them to understand are two things.
00:06:12.060 Number one, Jack Dorsey is not going to get prosecuted for committing perjury under oath, which he did do, but he's not going to get prosecuted.
00:06:20.120 And I'll tell you why, because that's a decision that's up to Merrick Garland.
00:06:23.120 Now, if. That's fair. Yeah.
00:06:26.060 A new administration comes in, that might be changed.
00:06:29.200 But even if the House GOP refers him for criminal referral after they take over in a couple of weeks time here, it's still up to Merrick Garland.
00:06:36.960 I just don't see that happening. We can know we can certainly see.
00:06:40.700 But what I want people to understand, though, because I'm sorry.
00:06:44.460 No, you had Jack Dorsey coming out on Twitter saying to Elon Musk, release everything, you know, saying outright.
00:06:51.340 I think Dorsey has been maybe not red pilled, but a little bit converted after his stint as CEO.
00:06:58.280 And he looks back and he sees where the failures were.
00:07:01.520 It's like he was a hostage. And he wants it. Yeah.
00:07:03.800 He wants it all out there. And if you look at his face when he's testifying in 2018,
00:07:08.760 his opening remarks, he says, you know, I prepared some remarks.
00:07:11.960 I've been giving this some serious thought. I'm going to tweet them out right now as well.
00:07:16.240 And he looks very earnest and he really believes in the project.
00:07:19.780 And then when you look at him testifying before Congress after everything went down in 2020
00:07:26.140 and he's talking about the Hunter Biden laptop and all of that kind of stuff, he looks I mean,
00:07:31.980 he has aged only the way he realized. He realizes he got snowed.
00:07:37.000 He looks so demoralized. Yeah, totally demoralized.
00:07:40.540 And he's seeking he's seeking atonement, by the way.
00:07:43.360 And so I'll pray for all of these people.
00:07:48.140 And and I just want to point out to everybody, this is not the first time the Chinese Communist Party
00:07:52.780 has put together revolutionary committees that would go after people and then come up with
00:07:57.520 justifications behind the fact afterwards.
00:07:59.520 This is very normal for any revolutionary movement.
00:08:03.880 But I have a question for you guys.
00:08:06.100 Are you short on gift ideas for people this Christmas?
00:08:09.600 Well, not everybody wants the new iPhone 27 or whatever number they're on.

00:09:38.500 There will be a man who outranks you first.
00:09:40.860 He'll compliment you in the fine job you've done that you're making the world a safer place that you're to receive a commendation and a promotion.
00:09:49.220 And then he's going to tell you that I am to be released.
00:09:53.100 You're going to protest.
00:09:55.820 You'll probably threaten to resign.
00:09:58.540 But in the end, I will be released.
00:10:01.720 The reason I'll be released is the same reason you think I'll be convicted.
00:10:06.400 I do rub shoulders with some of the most vile, sadistic men calling themselves leaders today.
00:10:12.160 But some of those men are the enemies of your enemies.
00:10:21.160 And while the biggest arms dealer in the world is your boss, the president of the United States, who ships more merchandise in a day than I do in a year,
00:10:32.400 sometimes it's embarrassing to have his fingerprints on the guns.
00:10:37.300 Well, well, well.
00:10:40.320 That was the movie Lord Award, 2005.
00:10:42.160 It came out.
00:10:43.540 And it was based on none other than Victor Bout.
00:10:48.140 By the way, same director, same writer as the fantastic anti-transhumanism movie, pro-human movie, Gattaca, Andrew Nichol.
00:10:57.700 So that's the final scene of Lord of War where he gets let out.
00:11:02.220 Guess what?
00:11:03.240 That final scene came 100% true this week.
00:11:08.140 Let me explain.
00:11:09.240 See, I saw a lot of people beating their chest yesterday.
00:11:11.780 How dare the U.S. release this terrible, awful, sadistic killer.
00:11:18.460 He's a merchant of death, a merchant of death.
00:11:21.460 And then you go back to an old, totally overlooked ABC News article from 2008.
00:11:28.340 What does it say?
00:11:29.020 Arrested arms dealers' planes flew U.S. missions in Iraq.
00:11:35.580 What does that mean?
00:11:36.620 Even though he was wanted by the U.S. government, U.S.
00:11:42.260 government contractors paid Victor Bout's firms roughly $60 million to fly supplies into Iraq in support of the U.S. war effort.
00:11:54.220 And it didn't prevent the U.S. military from giving Bout's pilots millions of dollars in free airplane fuel while they were flying U.S. supply flights.
00:12:06.840 See, Bout routinely worked as an asset for the U.S. government, even right up to a year before he was arrested.
00:12:12.620 But the TV didn't tell you that, did it?
00:12:17.220 And now Victor is back in the game, just as war in Eastern Europe has broken out again.
00:12:22.540 What a coincidence.
00:12:23.900 I wonder what's going to happen with all of those arms the U.S. is flooding into Eastern Europe.
00:12:30.440 And then you got Afghanistan with $4 billion of U.S. military equipment just sitting there on the tarmac.
00:12:38.340 Kind of funny how that works.
00:12:40.400 You know, and Libby, you and I were on here yesterday and we were talking about this disparity.
00:12:45.760 And I saw so much of this this like blue pilled cognitive dissonance out there because people would be moralizing about this whole thing.
00:12:52.780 And I would point out that, well, the United States is the largest arms deal in the world.
00:12:56.560 And we constantly fund rebel movements and terrorist groups that turn into, you know, the Mujahideen becomes the Taliban.
00:13:03.600 The the the fighters in in Ukraine becomes completely destabilized.
00:13:09.660 The people in the the moderate rebels, remember the moderate rebels in Libya and Syria, then they became ISIS, essentially.
00:13:17.960 And and they start going after Benghazi.
00:13:20.180 They start going after taking up swaths of land on the corridor between Syria and Iraq.
00:13:25.220 And this just happens over and over and over.
00:13:27.920 And so a guy like Victor Bout, right.
00:13:30.220 Sure, he's going to he's just he's just in the middle making money.
00:13:33.020 Right. He's not the one that started any of this.
00:13:35.560 He's just in the middle of the money.
00:13:36.860 And I'll give credit to the filmmaker there for pointing out that this guy isn't the one that created the situation of the racket of war.
00:13:46.000 He's just the one making money off it.
00:13:48.440 Yeah, this guy came to prominence or came into his came into his element in the collapse of the Soviet Union and started selling weapons.
00:13:57.540 And even before that, though, he was, you know, he was selling all kinds of stuff.
00:14:02.080 I was listening to a podcast about him and he was selling geraniums or something gladiolus.
00:14:08.020 He was selling gladiolus, I believe, at one point.
00:14:10.220 And he ended up in the arms trade, found it very lucrative.
00:14:14.120 And the U.S. had need of his services during Iraq and made made use of them.
00:14:20.340 So it is.
00:14:21.000 And by the way, that's what we know of.
00:14:23.160 OK, that's what we that's what we know about.
00:14:24.800 We know that there are 60 million dollars that the Pentagon admitted during the Bush years were out there.
00:14:30.320 But I want to read this quote for you that we pulled out.
00:14:33.080 New York Times quote, right?
00:14:35.620 A March 12th bout, who turned 45 not long ago, from 10 years ago, will receive a sentence of between 25 years in life.
00:14:45.340 They'll try to lock me up for life, bout said, but I'll get back to Russia.
00:14:51.060 I don't know when, but I'm still young.
00:14:53.980 Your empire will collapse and I'll get out of here.
00:14:57.840 That was 10 years ago he said that.
00:15:00.320 Well, our empire hasn't collapsed quite yet.
00:15:03.500 So, you know, I wouldn't I wouldn't say that exactly.
00:15:07.380 Well, I don't know if the empire certainly.
00:15:09.320 But he did get out for sure.
00:15:11.320 You know, which which stage of the decline are we in?
00:15:13.400 Because the turning is coming forth, if you know what I mean.
00:15:18.600 No, we're in a fourth turning.
00:15:19.920 America's influence abroad is certainly waning.
00:15:23.400 I'm not sure what I keep in mind.
00:15:25.500 I'm not sure exactly what deal or what, you know, what setup led to him being taken off the field.
00:15:33.100 Because if this guy was an asset at one point, people don't understand this.
00:15:36.340 And when Darabidi and I were on with this is once you go into that that criminal underworld and these underworld overworld elements that I mean, people switch sides all the time.
00:15:46.340 And when I was in the intel community, we used to refer to it as, you know, changing shirts, you know, but it's the same.
00:15:51.640 Interesting.
00:15:52.500 You have terrorists that might work for work with one group one day, one group another day.
00:15:56.900 You've got someone who's your enemy one day.
00:15:58.900 They're your friend the next day.
00:16:00.100 And so this is why you'll see the cartels, for example, that, you know, some cartels are aligned with the CIA and they're in war with the ones that aren't aligned with the CIA and some will be more aligned with the CCP.
00:16:12.160 And so it just goes around and around.
00:16:14.600 And I guess my question is that, you know, we need to interpret again, as I've said before, we need to interpret all of these things through the lens of great power politics.
00:16:23.580 We need to understand what's going on here.
00:16:25.900 Don't be distracted by, you know, the WNBA player that that everybody loves.
00:16:31.760 I do have to say, though, I do have to say if everybody loves Brittany Griner so much, name what team she plays for without looking it up.
00:16:37.840 Just saying.
00:16:39.500 I know what team she plays for because you looked it up.
00:16:43.560 Yeah.
00:16:44.100 Yesterday, I looked at a journalist and you looked it up.
00:16:47.100 You're not sitting there going, oh, yeah, I love it.
00:16:49.460 So what was the best line, I think, was, wow, this is the first time that anyone that a WNBA trade has ever made headlines.
00:16:56.480 Right.
00:16:56.960 Yeah.
00:16:57.180 Nobody, nobody cares.
00:16:58.900 Oh, oh, oh.
00:17:00.840 But we do have to pay the bills because it is Christmas time, folks.
00:17:04.180 Every day we hear about the next big crisis.
00:17:06.800 What's new?
00:17:07.400 Well, now the U.N. World Food Program is openly warning of major troubles ahead.
00:17:13.200 They say because of problems like conflicts and supply chain issues, the world is facing food shortages of unprecedented proportions.
00:17:19.460 The worst in modern history.
00:17:21.160 You can't ignore this anymore.

00:18:00.120 Freedom to be a beautiful concept.
00:18:04.280 Many of my friends say that sometimes I'm a little too free.
00:18:07.060 I tend to be myself.
00:18:08.320 The power of freedom is that ability to be oneself isn't necessarily hindered, but is rather celebrated.
00:18:15.880 I'm a gender fluid individual who walks the halls of Congress.
00:18:18.920 Talk about the power of being free every day to hear my stilettos click on those marble floors and yet know that I deserve to be in that room just as much as anybody else.
00:18:29.480 Because I've been an advocate for ending conversion therapy for a very long time now.
00:18:34.140 And state after state after state after state are signing these laws as late as this week, right?
00:18:41.060 Like we are truly watching a watershed moment where the power of politics is no longer being used to hurt me, but to help me.
00:18:51.300 Why do they all talk the same exact way?
00:18:54.900 So Libby Emmons, we've got to cover, unfortunately, this Sam Brinton collapse, this massive disaster.
00:19:03.380 And no, I'm not just talking about the outfit.
00:19:06.180 I'm talking about this, this public humiliation, a series of luggage thefts all across the country.
00:19:15.020 And apparently you've also pointed out as a member of the Biden administration, Department of Energy Q clearance, which means access to our nuclear programs.
00:19:23.280 And you've also pointed out that there are new questions being raised about the conversion therapy claims that Sam Brinton has been made.
00:19:31.720 Can you walk us through that?
00:19:32.540 Yeah, so this was actually covered for us by Chad Felix Green, who brought it to my attention the other day.
00:19:39.460 Oh, Chad's great.
00:19:40.920 Yeah, Chad's great.
00:19:41.980 And he pointed out that there was an article in an LGBT outlet talking of actually saying that perhaps Brinton's claims weren't true.
00:19:52.200 This after the writer of that story tried to dig into Brinton's claims, asking, where were you abused by these conversion therapy torture people?
00:20:02.900 Where did they, you know, inject you with ice and what locate with needles and torture you with ice and all of these things?
00:20:10.520 Tried to dig into it.
00:20:11.540 Couldn't get any answers from Brinton, was unable to verify the claims of conversion therapy torture at all.
00:20:18.520 So, look, I'm going to pull back for a second here.
00:20:24.640 What has gone wrong in our society that you can't see someone like Sam Brinton and not immediately realize that this person is mentally unwell?
00:20:36.020 You don't need luggage thefts and all of these other questions to come up.
00:20:42.480 You can just say this person clearly has mental problems, should not be involved in the nuclear program, which, by the way, when I was in the Navy, if you were involved in anything that had to do with with the nuclear program, that's called the special trust program.
00:20:54.400 I mean, you need, that's like the double blind security, you know, they check you up, up the, up the, up the Yahoo and really make sure that your nose is clean on everything that you've done in your entire life.
00:21:08.100 And so the idea to me as a former Navy officer, knowing that, knowing how much goes into being a member of that program, I'm not suggesting that Sam had that much, you know, working to knowledge, but to be even given Q clearance in general, when clearly this person has mental issues, what's, what's, what's wrong with our society?
00:21:26.200 Libby. And we also, we saw the military officer wearing his, um, his dog fetish photo in uniform, in uniform the other day. Uh, why as a society, and it's, it's through what I think is this embrace of you have to tolerate everything.
00:21:43.000 And that in, in the sense of you, you are intolerance is the worst sin in our civic religion. And I call it the civic religion because tolerance and pride are now our highest virtue. Whereas in the church, they're referred to as deadly sins. Uh, pride is referred to as a deadly sin. Um, tolerance was never a virtue that, that Christ talked about. I don't even, I, I think you would be hard pressed to find a,
00:22:12.880 a serious religion that promotes tolerance of, of, of, of, of wrongness as a, you know, as a virtue. And yet we here in the United States and in the West, we, and, and by the way, I'm just going to point out, it's very clear what Sam Britten is doing. It's, it's, it's, it's not so much that they're finding themselves that they're finding, they're finding transgression and they're taking pleasure in the transgression itself.
00:22:35.780 And so I'm finding pleasure in being, what's going wrong. Yeah. So our, our culture is empty. We have rejected the concept of a soul. We have rejected the idea of any sort of morality or virtue. And increasingly we live our lives in public.
00:22:53.480 And so when you have a lot of empty people who are desperate for connection, for communion, for understanding, for companionship, for all of these really sort of sacred things, when you have someone who is empty searching for these things and cannot find it, um, they go, they go search for it wherever they can, even in the worthless, shameless void of social media. Um, and that's what Brinton did.
00:23:20.520 So he was posting or they, whatever was posting, um, uh, fetish pictures of being, you know, tied up in ropes and things on Instagram. And because we live our lives in public and because of this empty void, the idea is that you don't even mention that everything is totally fine, that there's no big deal with, um, either showing that off or that there's no big deal with you having access to high powered things.
00:23:49.720 Now I would say that if Brinton had kept these things to himself, literally our nuclear program, that's cute.
00:23:56.520 But if he, if he had kept these things to himself, I think that would have shown a, um, a much more stable mentality actually, because he would have said, okay, these things are transgressive. Uh, I enjoy these things personally. I'm not going to necessarily share them with the world because I understand, um, that maybe that's a little nuts.
00:24:15.480 Well, this was also, and just to get into it and just as a historical fact that people who had the hidden lifestyles were not eligible for security clearance because it could be used as blackmail against them.
00:24:27.440 Yeah, that's interesting too, isn't it? Well, I guess there was no, there was no blackmail for this one. There was just his own, um, personal fetish of stealing women's clothes and then lying about that. So that's a problem too. But we, you know, we have people lying about a lot of things in their lives because we have set up a situation where oppression is power. Uh, where having been oppressed is power, where victimization is, um, having been victimized is praised.
00:24:54.820 So it is, it behooves people to come out and show their various scars, even if they've just, we need to get back to, we need to get back to standards. We need to get back to being a society that has standards, being a society that understands that, Hey, guess what? You know, uh, we need to celebrate accomplishments. We need to celebrate greatness. I think that greatness is the opposite of wokeness. Um, and I know, can we go back or do we have to rebuild?
00:25:23.300 Um, we, well, I think, I think first we need to smash and every, everyone will tell you that every, any, any renovation begins with demolition. And that's the, currently the phase that we're in.
00:25:33.700 I hate that part. I don't want to destroy our country.
00:25:36.580 That's the difference. I love that part. I love that part because that's where we, all of these edifices need to be torn down, all of them, because we need to, we need to be brought down so that we can be, we can rebuild from that point.
00:25:48.840 Because if things like this, do we destroy the universities? You know, do we destroy all of it? And the reason that everybody talks the same is because everyone went to these same exact schools. That's why everyone talks the same.
00:25:59.740 It's like when you go to, it's like when you go to Eaton and you come out with the, uh, with the received pronunciation.
00:26:04.080 Sure. You sure do.
