00:00:00.000 Purge night in Ukraine as dozens of top officials resign or fired sports cars, mansions, luxury vehicles as the people are suffering.
00:00:09.800 Folks, we have a huge story today. And is there an Antifa member down in Atlanta in that treehouse Atlanta that's tied to the CCP?
00:00:18.440 We'll get into all of it. But first, make sure that you are signed up for the Poso Daily Brief.
00:00:23.200 That's humanevents.com slash Poso, humanevents.com slash Poso. You simply go there and you will be able to read what I read when I do show prep every single day.
00:00:32.120 You get one email delivered to you a day with all the stories that I use to put together this show and even the stories that I don't necessarily get to because of time constraints.
00:00:40.440 humanevents.com slash Poso. Let's get into it.
00:00:53.200 It is obvious that American business can become the locomotive that will once again push forward global economic growth.
00:01:04.720 We have already managed to attract attention and have cooperation with such giants of the international financial and investment world as BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, and Goldman Sachs.
00:01:18.280 Such American brands as Starlink or Westinghouse have already become part of our Ukrainian way.
00:01:26.360 Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by Turning Point USA.
00:01:31.460 Today is January 24th, 2023.
00:01:34.180 Anno Domine.
00:01:35.560 Folks, last night was purge night in Kiev.
00:01:42.280 Why?
00:01:43.240 And Zero Hedge has the headline, Ukraine was rocked by a massive corruption scandal.
00:01:47.720 The largest since the Russo-Ukrainian war began.
00:01:52.400 Wave of top officials resigned.
00:01:55.100 Sports cars, mansions, luxury vacations as people suffered.
00:02:02.020 And apparently there was also an egg swindle involved in all of this.
00:02:06.620 What was the egg swindle?
00:02:08.020 Well, the egg swindle was apparently members of the Ukrainian government were procuring eggs at a low cost,
00:02:14.840 but then charging the government a much higher cost for it and pocketing the difference.
00:02:18.920 So we're seeing so far a top presidential advisor to Zelensky, four deputy ministers among those two defense officials,
00:02:27.940 along with five regional governors, have all either resigned or been fired.
00:02:34.000 We're also possibly hearing arrests.
00:02:36.440 This is mismanagement of AIDS funds for purchased food, embezzlement, driving expensive cars,
00:02:41.680 while, of course, the common people suffer under wartime conditions.
00:02:45.780 Now, I'm going to go out and say something right now, because when I went to Ukraine,
00:02:50.680 when we did this program, Human Events Daily, from the back of an old Soviet train,
00:02:57.520 the night train to Odessa, what did we talk about?
00:03:01.340 I said, the media wants you to take sides.
00:03:06.800 Are you pro-Russia or are you pro-Ukraine?
00:03:09.500 Are you pro-Russia?
00:03:10.400 Are you pro-Ukraine?
00:03:11.100 Which side are you for?
00:03:12.280 Pick a side, pozo.
00:03:13.300 You need to be on one side.
00:03:14.380 And I said, look, my side is, obviously, I don't want there to be war.
00:03:20.100 But at the same time, my side is always going to be the side of the people.
00:03:23.940 And I'm going to call out anybody who stands in the way of peace,
00:03:28.160 because there are good people that are caught in the middle of this thing who don't deserve this.
00:03:35.700 They never deserve this.
00:03:38.200 I've got family that lives in this region.
00:03:40.800 I've got family that's lived through the horrific warfare of Eastern Europe many times.
00:03:52.120 The winners in this are always false winners.
00:03:56.760 Because, okay, you put up a flag, you say you won, but how many people had to die?
00:04:03.380 How many families were destroyed in the fighting?
00:04:07.120 How many children lost their lives?
00:04:08.980 How many atrocities went on?
00:04:12.780 While the politicians and the elites are running around
00:04:17.000 buying luxury cars, going on vacations.
00:04:24.060 One of them, by the way, was the deputy prosecutor general who's just been fired.
00:04:28.440 Not the first time Ukraine has fired a prosecutor general,
00:04:31.880 because we all remember none other than President Biden himself bragged about getting a prosecutor fired in Ukraine.
00:04:41.620 Why?
00:04:42.360 Because he was investigating the individual that Hunter Biden was associated with when it came to Burisma.
00:04:50.000 It's amazing how you can't even talk about Burisma anymore.
00:04:52.260 It's like, even on the right, people kind of don't talk about it as if it's like some totally separate thing.
00:05:00.100 No, it's not a separate thing.
00:05:01.400 The entire thing has been connected.
00:05:03.320 All the way to the top.
00:05:04.600 All the way from the start.
00:05:05.900 Victor Pinchuk was the number one donor to the Clinton Foundation.
00:05:09.760 Burisma was paying the Biden family.
00:05:12.460 We know this.
00:05:13.560 We've known this the whole time.
00:05:15.280 This has been an oligarch fight.
00:05:18.720 The best way to look at this is an oligarch fight with people caught in the middle.
00:05:24.740 Horrifically caught in the middle.
00:05:27.460 And by the way, folks,
00:05:29.020 if you think what they've been doing with your American tax dollars is bad,
00:05:35.000 just in terms of buying cars,
00:05:39.200 grifting for food,
00:05:40.620 if you think it's bad what they did with the eggs,
00:05:43.260 wait till you find out what they've been doing with the guns.
00:05:47.260 Wait till you find out what they've been doing with the arms that have been sent to Ukraine,
00:05:53.040 the missiles that have been sent to Ukraine.
00:05:55.540 This stuff goes missing before it even arrives at the front lines.
00:06:01.660 They're selling it off to gangs in Kiev.
00:06:05.660 They're selling it off to anybody who's got the money to pay for it
00:06:09.180 because the money's flowing, the guns are flowing, the arms are flowing.
00:06:13.260 Who gets released from jail?
00:06:16.720 Victor Bout, the world's number one arms dealer.
00:06:20.160 Or should I say, as we learned from Lord of War,
00:06:23.780 from the great Andrew Nichol,
00:06:26.040 who if you watched our special with Nur bin Laden,
00:06:28.360 we were just chatting about him.
00:06:31.020 Victor Bout's only the number two arms dealer.
00:06:33.080 The number one arms dealer is the president of the United States.
00:06:35.860 And so, what else is going on in this region?
00:06:40.320 Because it's so nice.
00:06:41.220 Oh, we hear that Estonia, which is a NATO member,
00:06:44.440 wants to shut down the Gulf of Finland for Russian vessels.
00:06:49.080 Now, Estonia is right across from Helsinki, Finland.
00:06:52.000 However, Finland is not a NATO member.
00:06:55.840 So, what are we to make of this?
00:06:57.740 If we can, folks, producers, let's get a map break
00:07:01.520 to show everyone the Gulf of Finland and this area.
00:07:06.380 So, if Finland were to try to attempt to obstruct
00:07:11.580 the port of St. Petersburg, formerly known as Leningrad during the Soviet Union,
00:07:17.020 from access through the Baltic into the Atlantic Ocean,
00:07:22.060 those are international waters.
00:07:24.060 Here's a quick question.
00:07:27.180 Do you think that the Russian Navy might, I don't know,
00:07:31.840 just maybe, maybe respond if you were to try to shut down
00:07:35.940 this stretch of a maritime strategic choke point?
00:07:41.260 And we talk a lot about on this.
00:07:42.880 I'm a prior Navy officer, right?
00:07:43.940 So, we talk a lot about on this show about the strategic choke points,
00:07:47.620 the Taiwan Strait, the Strait of Malacca,
00:07:50.860 Gulf of Suez, Panama Canal.
00:07:52.740 Well, guess what?
00:07:54.940 The Gulf of Finland for Russia is their strategic choke point
00:07:58.920 because that's why they can't,
00:08:00.160 that's the only way they can get out of St. Petersburg
00:08:01.860 with their Northern Fleet.
00:08:03.060 That's why the Black Sea is so important to them.
00:08:04.920 That's why Crimea is so important to them.
00:08:06.860 That, right, you just keep going with this.
00:08:09.260 What's their access to the Mediterranean, by the way?
00:08:11.400 Syria.
00:08:11.820 That's why Syria is so important to them
00:08:13.300 and who is in charge in Syria being,
00:08:15.460 giving them access to their basing rights there.
00:08:17.780 If they attempt to do this,
00:08:22.960 you would start World War III.
00:08:25.960 But, you know, it's not like there's been any other kind of military action
00:08:29.780 in the Baltic Sea lately.
00:08:31.040 I mean, well, you know, of course, Russia has their pipeline
00:08:33.320 that they built to Germany there,
00:08:34.880 and nothing ever happened to that pipeline.
00:08:36.860 It's not like that was mysteriously blown up in a terrorist act
00:08:40.380 that nobody could ever investigate
00:08:42.620 or find out who was behind it because,
00:08:48.320 oh, wait, no.
00:08:50.520 No, wait, that actually did happen,
00:08:51.920 and we're not allowed to investigate it,
00:08:54.220 and now they're saying they want to shut down the entire Gulf of Finland
00:08:57.000 so that no one can investigate what happened to the Nord Stream pipelines
00:09:00.680 and who blew them up.
00:09:02.720 Funny how that works.
00:09:03.500 First of all, color revolutions have nothing to do with race.
00:09:09.520 The term was coined in the early 2000s
00:09:12.080 when countries like the Republic of Georgia and Ukraine
00:09:14.680 had spontaneous, peaceful, democratic revolutions
00:09:18.080 that had colorful nicknames.
00:09:20.280 In 2003, the Georgian opposition protested
00:09:23.700 the opening of a new session of parliament
00:09:25.740 based on fraudulent election results.
00:09:28.020 They did it while carrying roses,
00:09:30.400 hence the Rose Revolution.
00:09:31.760 In 2004 and 2005,
00:09:34.640 Ukrainians protested their own rigged election.
00:09:37.640 Candidate Viktor Yushchenko's campaign branding was orange,
00:09:40.600 hence the Orange Revolution.
00:09:42.320 You get the idea.
00:09:43.800 Color revolutions have earned a bad rap, though,
00:09:46.020 mostly thanks to Vladimir Putin
00:09:47.660 because they brought in democratically-minded governments
00:09:50.760 that threatened Russian influence in the region.
00:09:54.140 Putin likes to suggest they are CIA-organized.
00:09:56.640 That is not true.
00:09:57.900 Believe it or not,
00:09:58.860 sometimes people get fed up with having their voices silenced for decades.
00:10:03.460 So, Nina Yankovic.
00:10:06.700 Don't we love Nina?
00:10:07.840 We do love Nina.
00:10:08.800 Nina, I hope you're doing well.
00:10:10.620 As Darren Beattie and I said,
00:10:12.120 we're your biggest fans,
00:10:13.120 your biggest fans of the Moaning Myrtles.
00:10:14.820 Of course, for you guys who don't know,
00:10:16.480 the Moaning Myrtles,
00:10:17.440 go pick up their latest compact disc,
00:10:20.980 or potentially LP.
00:10:22.520 I hope they have an LP coming out soon.
00:10:24.120 I don't know if they're going on tour
00:10:25.160 because Nina Yankovic doesn't have anything else to do
00:10:27.260 because apparently,
00:10:27.900 she isn't working for the federal government anymore
00:10:30.640 because the Department of Homeland Security fired her
00:10:32.760 after somebody,
00:10:33.960 I forget who that was,
00:10:35.400 blew up the disinformation governments board
00:10:37.940 that she was supposed to be leading.
00:10:39.900 She was leading until,
00:10:41.280 oh, right, that was me.
00:10:42.640 So, Nina,
00:10:43.500 I really hope that you're having a great time
00:10:45.740 enjoying the Moaning Myrtles.
00:10:47.920 Of course,
00:10:48.200 the Moaning Myrtles is her Harry Potter band
00:10:52.080 that she created with her friend,
00:10:54.640 and they're running the whole thing from their house.
00:10:57.020 They're quite successful.
00:10:57.780 They're on, you know,
00:10:58.620 there's like accounts.
00:10:59.900 You can follow it.
00:11:00.880 It's really, really interesting.
00:11:02.280 We love the Moaning Myrtles,
00:11:03.240 and we love Nina very, very much.
00:11:05.440 So,
00:11:06.640 but I want to get into this question
00:11:08.060 of color revolutions
00:11:09.880 and domestic color revolutions
00:11:12.240 because, see,
00:11:14.120 here's the thing.
00:11:15.980 We said here
00:11:17.320 a couple of days ago
00:11:20.020 that 2020
00:11:21.460 essentially was
00:11:23.120 a domestic color revolution
00:11:25.640 within the United States.
00:11:27.560 And now,
00:11:28.840 apparently,
00:11:29.760 we've actually got data
00:11:31.860 that's backing it up.
00:11:33.460 But Nina's very upset about this
00:11:34.860 because she says
00:11:35.440 a color revolution
00:11:36.100 could never happen
00:11:37.280 in the United States.
00:11:38.020 Never, ever.
00:11:39.600 Well,
00:11:40.160 it was a BLM color revolution.
00:11:41.900 It wasn't the Rose revolution.
00:11:43.100 It was the BLM color revolution
00:11:45.000 or just the BLM revolution.
00:11:47.580 And
00:11:48.020 Nina says,
00:11:49.880 well,
00:11:49.980 that's not possible.
00:11:50.840 It could never happen
00:11:51.500 here in the United States.
00:11:52.360 Never, ever.
00:11:53.080 Let me tell you something.
00:11:54.080 When Nina Yankovic
00:11:55.120 is saying that
00:11:55.940 something isn't happening,
00:11:57.580 you can take that
00:11:58.500 to the bank,
00:11:59.340 ladies and gentlemen,
00:11:59.960 because it's definitely happening.
00:12:01.980 Red alert.
00:12:03.100 Whenever she goes on TV
00:12:04.220 and something says
00:12:05.040 something is not happening,
00:12:06.020 it's like John Brennan.
00:12:06.880 When he comes out on TV
00:12:07.800 and says something is false,
00:12:09.000 100% true.
00:12:10.060 When Nina Yankovic
00:12:10.800 comes on TV
00:12:11.460 and says something isn't happening,
00:12:12.680 it's 100% happening.
00:12:13.680 But what is the report?
00:12:16.420 In a joint paper
00:12:18.420 from King's College of London
00:12:20.280 and the Yale School of Management
00:12:21.860 as well as
00:12:23.120 the London School of Economics,
00:12:24.740 LSE,
00:12:25.240 that being said,
00:12:26.100 London School of Economics,
00:12:27.360 total diploma mill.
00:12:28.860 If you see that
00:12:29.580 on somebody's resume,
00:12:30.480 you just kind of know.
00:12:31.580 Like LSE,
00:12:32.300 not so much.
00:12:35.380 Whether to protest.
00:12:37.060 The effect of Black Lives Matter
00:12:38.500 protests on the 2020 election.
00:12:41.520 Abstract.
00:12:42.080 Do mass mobilizations
00:12:43.840 bring about social change?
00:12:45.760 The paper
00:12:46.260 investigates the impact
00:12:48.240 of the BLM protests
00:12:49.320 that erupted
00:12:49.860 after George Floyd's death
00:12:51.100 on the 2020 election
00:12:52.160 using local precipitation
00:12:53.800 as an exogenous source
00:12:56.120 of protest variation.
00:12:58.180 We document...
00:12:58.460 I'm sorry.
00:12:59.800 I have to do this
00:13:00.440 in academic voice.
00:13:03.720 We document a marked shift
00:13:06.060 in support
00:13:06.680 for the Democratic candidate
00:13:08.040 in counties
00:13:08.980 that experienced
00:13:09.880 more protesting activity.
00:13:12.080 We use a spatial
00:13:12.940 two-stage
00:13:13.740 less squares estimator
00:13:15.420 and show that
00:13:16.200 conventional TSLS estimators
00:13:18.260 overestimate this effect size
00:13:19.920 by a factor of three.
00:13:22.380 Ancillary analyses
00:13:23.440 show that the effect
00:13:24.680 cannot be explained
00:13:25.800 by changes in turnout.
00:13:26.800 Instead,
00:13:27.060 protests shifted
00:13:27.740 people's attitudes
00:13:28.520 about racial disparities.
00:13:30.240 I have an alternate explanation.
00:13:34.580 Could it be,
00:13:36.060 just going out on a limb here,
00:13:39.160 could it be
00:13:39.940 that places
00:13:41.320 that experienced
00:13:42.940 mob violence
00:13:44.900 felt threatened
00:13:47.980 by the angry mobs
00:13:50.040 that were marching
00:13:50.840 in their cities,
00:13:52.300 towns,
00:13:52.840 communities,
00:13:53.380 and suburbs
00:13:53.980 every night
00:13:54.960 and decided
00:13:57.340 to give in
00:13:58.620 to the mob's demands
00:14:00.360 because they were scared
00:14:01.760 for the lives
00:14:02.840 of their children.
00:14:04.340 They were scared
00:14:05.080 for the lives
00:14:05.920 of their families.
00:14:10.300 That's obviously
00:14:11.500 what happened
00:14:12.540 in many places.
00:14:15.480 But the BLM revolution,
00:14:18.180 that's where we're going
00:14:19.140 with folks,
00:14:19.540 we're going with BLM revolution.
00:14:21.420 Strap in.
00:14:22.040 The BLM revolution,
00:14:24.680 if you notice,
00:14:26.960 was designed
00:14:29.800 to coincide
00:14:33.060 with the lockdowns,
00:14:35.400 COVID-19,
00:14:36.900 all the propaganda
00:14:38.440 that was being pushed
00:14:39.400 throughout that year.
00:14:41.060 You can't separate them.
00:14:43.440 The people of this country
00:14:45.020 were put through
00:14:46.400 a PSYOP
00:14:47.160 within a PSYOP
00:14:48.440 in 2020.
00:14:49.540 The color revolution,
00:14:54.000 you might even have
00:14:54.460 to call it
00:14:54.800 the BLM COVID revolution
00:14:56.680 because it's actually
00:14:57.260 kind of both.
00:14:58.720 The CCP virus.
00:15:00.680 Why do we call it that?
00:15:01.620 Because they're the ones
00:15:02.420 who designed it.
00:15:06.080 Do you remember
00:15:06.960 when you were told
00:15:08.100 that you had to stay
00:15:09.240 inside your homes,
00:15:10.460 that you couldn't
00:15:11.740 go to church?
00:15:12.720 You couldn't bring
00:15:13.440 your children to church.
00:15:14.060 You had to watch
00:15:14.460 church on TV.
00:15:15.140 But these people
00:15:18.560 were allowed
00:15:19.440 to march in the streets.
00:15:20.860 Were allowed
00:15:21.440 to set fire
00:15:21.980 to our cities.
00:15:23.580 Were allowed
00:15:24.280 to smash buildings.
00:15:25.980 In the town of Kenosha,
00:15:27.380 they were allowed
00:15:27.940 to burn down everything.
00:15:30.780 And the National Guard
00:15:31.720 wasn't called in.
00:15:33.640 And a 17-year-old boy
00:15:34.980 named Kyle Rittenhouse
00:15:35.900 tried to do
00:15:37.560 the right thing.
00:15:39.380 Tried to defend
00:15:40.220 his town.
00:15:42.820 You saw
00:15:43.400 what happened there.
00:15:45.140 We were put
00:15:46.600 through a domestic
00:15:48.040 color revolution.
00:15:50.080 And the data
00:15:50.780 shows
00:15:51.420 directly.
00:15:53.740 Now,
00:15:54.320 they have different
00:15:54.740 explanations for it,
00:15:55.580 but the data
00:15:56.120 shows directly
00:15:56.960 the areas
00:15:59.240 that experienced
00:16:00.580 the most,
00:16:02.140 what do they call,
00:16:03.120 protest activity.
00:16:04.460 Remember,
00:16:04.880 the mostly peaceful
00:16:05.620 protest activity.
00:16:06.600 And I hope,
00:16:07.020 by the way,
00:16:08.100 that there's some
00:16:08.660 images and videos
00:16:09.540 that we can show
00:16:10.140 of the mostly peaceful
00:16:10.900 protests that happened
00:16:11.660 in 2020,
00:16:12.160 which were the largest
00:16:13.380 riots in American
00:16:15.000 history.
00:16:15.680 The two-pronged
00:16:16.580 approach was this,
00:16:17.560 the George Floyd
00:16:18.600 riots amid
00:16:20.580 the COVID
00:16:21.380 lockdowns.
00:16:24.220 When you put
00:16:25.660 that level
00:16:26.320 of social pressure
00:16:27.440 on a society,
00:16:29.460 you break it.
00:16:31.600 The masters
00:16:32.600 of our society,
00:16:34.520 what do you want
00:16:35.520 to call them,
00:16:35.820 the regime,
00:16:36.420 the elites,
00:16:36.900 the permanent state,
00:16:37.640 the administrative state,
00:16:38.480 whatever you want
00:16:38.820 to call it,
00:16:39.900 they released
00:16:41.220 these forces,
00:16:42.020 they released
00:16:42.420 these energies
00:16:43.080 to punish us.
00:16:44.820 And they said,
00:16:45.720 all of this
00:16:46.220 will stop
00:16:46.740 if you vote
00:16:48.540 for our
00:16:49.460 preferred candidate
00:16:50.980 and you don't
00:16:51.880 ask too many
00:16:52.940 questions about
00:16:54.340 the integrity
00:16:55.000 of our elections.
00:16:56.880 And voila,
00:16:59.160 a regime
00:16:59.700 was installed.
00:17:01.300 The same regime
00:17:02.820 that it looks like
00:17:03.880 they're trying
00:17:05.020 to push out
00:17:05.800 and replace.
00:17:06.440 Tonight,
00:17:09.400 an unprecedented
00:17:10.080 warning from
00:17:10.820 the world's
00:17:11.360 top intelligence
00:17:12.280 agencies.
00:17:14.760 In their
00:17:15.520 first ever
00:17:16.000 joint speech,
00:17:16.980 FBI Director
00:17:17.820 Chris Wray
00:17:18.460 and his
00:17:18.920 British counterpart,
00:17:20.280 MI5 Director
00:17:21.180 Ken McCollum,
00:17:22.300 underscored
00:17:22.800 what they say
00:17:23.580 are growing
00:17:24.220 threats,
00:17:25.200 spying,
00:17:25.880 hacking,
00:17:26.520 and other
00:17:26.980 covert activity
00:17:28.000 from China.
00:17:28.780 We consistently
00:17:30.040 see that it's
00:17:31.120 the Chinese
00:17:31.640 government
00:17:32.120 that poses
00:17:33.140 the biggest
00:17:33.880 long-term
00:17:34.920 threat to our
00:17:35.740 economic
00:17:36.220 and national
00:17:37.020 security.
00:17:38.280 The widespread
00:17:38.740 Western assumption
00:17:39.640 that growing
00:17:40.780 prosperity within
00:17:41.580 China and
00:17:42.740 increasing
00:17:43.180 connectivity with
00:17:44.040 the West
00:17:44.560 would automatically
00:17:45.780 lead to greater
00:17:46.620 political freedom
00:17:47.480 has, I'm afraid,
00:17:49.120 been shown to
00:17:49.700 be plain wrong.
00:17:50.840 So we've been
00:17:51.520 talking about
00:17:52.160 Treehouse Antifa
00:17:53.220 for a long time
00:17:54.340 and we've been
00:17:56.080 explaining for all
00:17:57.080 of you what's
00:17:57.560 going on down
00:17:58.060 in Atlanta,
00:17:58.780 but there's an
00:17:59.600 interesting wrinkle
00:18:00.340 on one of the
00:18:01.540 arrested rioters
00:18:03.080 down there,
00:18:03.920 one of the
00:18:04.200 militants who
00:18:05.140 was involved
00:18:05.580 in this thing
00:18:06.200 and her name
00:18:07.460 is Teresa
00:18:08.880 Shen Yue.
00:18:11.340 Teresa Shen Yue.
00:18:14.760 She's a member
00:18:15.840 of these
00:18:16.240 Treehouse Antifa.
00:18:17.860 She worked
00:18:18.740 at CNN
00:18:19.420 and her father
00:18:21.960 is a CCP
00:18:23.920 tied
00:18:24.560 pharmaceutical
00:18:25.920 tycoon.
00:18:28.140 We've got this
00:18:29.020 reporting from
00:18:29.700 the Post
00:18:30.060 Millennial
00:18:30.420 deal that
00:18:31.500 her father
00:18:32.220 is a New
00:18:34.260 Jersey-based
00:18:35.120 CCP pharma
00:18:36.700 tycoon.
00:18:38.240 His name
00:18:39.180 is James
00:18:39.940 Shen
00:18:40.480 and he is
00:18:41.520 the publisher
00:18:42.000 of Ycon,
00:18:44.300 a New Jersey-based
00:18:45.300 Chinese media
00:18:46.320 company that
00:18:47.340 owns Pharma
00:18:48.040 China.
00:18:48.820 In his bio,
00:18:49.900 he claimed to
00:18:50.400 come from a
00:18:50.900 family with
00:18:51.420 generations of
00:18:52.300 ties with the
00:18:52.920 pharmaceutical
00:18:53.280 industry in
00:18:54.140 China.
00:18:54.760 He also
00:18:55.440 described himself
00:18:56.160 as a strategist,
00:18:57.180 advisor, and
00:18:57.800 publisher who
00:18:58.740 specializes in
00:18:59.680 Chinese health
00:19:00.320 care.
00:19:01.260 Her mother
00:19:01.780 named
00:19:03.800 Shen Xiaohua
00:19:04.960 was one of
00:19:06.500 the first
00:19:07.000 group of
00:19:07.840 university
00:19:08.300 scholarship
00:19:08.740 students sent
00:19:09.400 by Chinese
00:19:09.880 government,
00:19:10.440 the CCP,
00:19:11.000 to study in
00:19:11.580 the UK at
00:19:12.360 Exeter
00:19:12.680 University.
00:19:13.700 She calls
00:19:14.080 herself a
00:19:14.520 global
00:19:14.940 diversity
00:19:15.660 expert.
00:19:16.680 So this
00:19:16.900 is actually
00:19:17.240 hilarious to
00:19:17.720 me.
00:19:18.280 This is
00:19:18.500 actually
00:19:18.700 hilarious
00:19:18.900 to me.
00:19:19.060 I'll
00:19:19.100 explain why.
00:19:19.960 Because
00:19:20.480 you've got
00:19:22.040 people who
00:19:23.340 literally lived
00:19:24.560 through the
00:19:25.900 Cultural
00:19:26.220 Revolution,
00:19:27.360 then they
00:19:28.720 come to
00:19:29.040 the US
00:19:29.660 where in
00:19:31.060 China they've
00:19:31.580 totally gotten
00:19:32.840 away from the
00:19:33.340 Cultural Revolution
00:19:34.060 stuff.
00:19:34.460 They're not
00:19:34.660 doing that
00:19:35.040 anymore.
00:19:36.080 But then
00:19:36.420 they come to
00:19:36.880 the US
00:19:37.360 who's undergoing
00:19:38.700 our own
00:19:39.480 sort of low
00:19:40.300 level cultural
00:19:41.040 revolution.
00:19:41.580 We just
00:19:41.760 talked about
00:19:42.080 the color
00:19:42.340 revolution of
00:19:43.340 2020.
00:19:44.280 And their
00:19:44.800 daughter becomes
00:19:46.180 a quasi
00:19:46.980 red guard,
00:19:48.060 but not in
00:19:48.900 China, here in
00:19:49.820 the United
00:19:50.120 States.
00:19:50.680 So you
00:19:51.040 survived Mao's
00:19:51.980 cultural revolution
00:19:52.900 just to come to
00:19:54.200 the US and
00:19:55.220 have your
00:19:55.560 daughter's mind
00:19:56.540 totally twisted
00:19:57.700 by the
00:19:58.920 globalist
00:19:59.340 American
00:19:59.680 empire, by
00:20:00.640 the regime,
00:20:01.440 and now
00:20:01.980 she's become
00:20:02.700 a cultural
00:20:03.240 revolutionary
00:20:03.860 of her own.
00:20:06.020 I wonder if
00:20:06.560 the irony
00:20:08.900 is even
00:20:10.700 understood by
00:20:11.760 the family
00:20:12.140 here, that
00:20:12.920 your daughter
00:20:13.420 has essentially
00:20:14.300 become one of
00:20:14.940 the red guards.
00:20:15.540 And go back
00:20:15.860 to our
00:20:16.080 China File
00:20:16.540 series.
00:20:17.760 So what
00:20:18.020 you're seeing
00:20:18.320 now is,
00:20:20.220 as I've
00:20:21.020 talked about
00:20:21.420 for years,
00:20:22.060 that the
00:20:22.820 Antifa
00:20:23.340 recruitment
00:20:24.420 and radicalization
00:20:25.760 track follows
00:20:26.780 a very similar
00:20:27.800 timeline, a
00:20:28.600 very similar
00:20:29.020 pathway to
00:20:29.700 the red
00:20:30.040 guards in
00:20:30.480 China, well
00:20:31.460 here we've
00:20:31.940 got a
00:20:32.420 direct
00:20:33.040 connection
00:20:33.800 from the
00:20:34.960 CCP to
00:20:36.480 a member
00:20:36.860 of Antifa
00:20:37.580 who has
00:20:38.680 ties to
00:20:39.560 people that
00:20:40.080 lived through
00:20:40.620 the Chinese
00:20:41.060 Cultural Revolution.
00:20:42.020 So you've
00:20:42.260 got an
00:20:42.560 actual, almost,
00:20:44.320 red guard.
00:20:44.860 I wonder, I
00:20:45.280 would love to
00:20:45.760 interview this
00:20:46.200 person.
00:20:46.960 I would
00:20:47.160 honestly, I
00:20:47.740 love, see
00:20:48.200 here's the
00:20:48.520 thing with the
00:20:49.340 difference between
00:20:50.020 me and I
00:20:50.560 think a lot of
00:20:51.020 other people
00:20:51.540 is, you
00:20:53.520 know, even
00:20:53.880 in the, you
00:20:54.880 know, what
00:20:55.120 do we call
00:20:55.480 them, conservative
00:20:56.040 pundits or
00:20:56.720 whatever, and
00:20:58.440 no, I'm not
00:20:59.080 going to be
00:20:59.320 getting into
00:20:59.760 the crowd or
00:21:00.280 daily wire thing
00:21:01.000 here on the
00:21:01.420 show, but
00:21:02.300 that being, but
00:21:02.960 suffice to
00:21:03.940 say, don't
00:21:04.720 take people in
00:21:05.620 the course of
00:21:06.020 normal business.
00:21:06.760 It's kind of
00:21:07.240 simple as that
00:21:07.660 and definitely
00:21:08.140 don't release
00:21:08.700 that to the
00:21:09.140 media.
00:21:10.660 But as far
00:21:11.340 as, you
00:21:11.560 know, taking
00:21:11.880 sides, it's
00:21:12.380 like, whatever,
00:21:12.800 just work it
00:21:13.180 out, guys.
00:21:14.520 The point
00:21:15.040 here is, you
00:21:17.100 know, I
00:21:17.380 could sit here
00:21:17.820 all day and
00:21:18.320 say, oh,
00:21:19.320 look at
00:21:19.640 these, you
00:21:20.200 know, like
00:21:20.380 Sean Hannity,
00:21:21.000 be like, ah,
00:21:21.500 look at these
00:21:21.820 liberals.
00:21:22.280 These liberals
00:21:22.680 are crazy and
00:21:23.260 they're liberal.
00:21:23.920 They're not
00:21:24.140 conservative.
00:21:24.680 We're conservative.
00:21:25.820 We're conservative.
00:21:26.660 We're the best
00:21:26.980 conservatives.
00:21:27.680 None of these
00:21:28.020 liberals are
00:21:28.420 conservative at
00:21:29.000 all.
00:21:29.440 In fact, they're
00:21:30.480 liberal, right?
00:21:31.560 And that's
00:21:31.820 Sean Hannity's
00:21:32.300 show and he
00:21:32.560 does that every
00:21:32.940 day.
00:21:33.580 But see, I
00:21:34.800 see crazy and
00:21:36.680 the thing that
00:21:37.880 makes Human
00:21:38.420 Events Day a
00:21:38.860 little different is
00:21:39.400 that I see
00:21:39.900 crazy and I
00:21:40.520 want to poke
00:21:40.980 it with a
00:21:41.420 stick.
00:21:42.280 I want to
00:21:42.720 learn how
00:21:43.060 this person
00:21:44.040 ticks.
00:21:44.660 I want to
00:21:45.040 learn what
00:21:45.360 makes her
00:21:45.800 tick.
00:21:46.140 I want to
00:21:46.480 learn her
00:21:46.960 thoughts.
00:21:47.420 I want to
00:21:47.760 learn why
00:21:48.720 do you think
00:21:49.460 that way?
00:21:50.420 What is your
00:21:51.120 actual ideology?
00:21:52.660 Because nobody
00:21:54.340 actually thinks
00:21:55.060 they're crazy,
00:21:55.920 right?
00:21:56.340 Even when I
00:21:56.920 was at
00:21:57.140 Guantanamo,
00:21:58.120 you talk to
00:21:59.020 the detainees,
00:22:00.500 everything that
00:22:01.100 they say makes
00:22:02.060 logical sense to
00:22:03.240 them.
00:22:04.180 Everything that
00:22:04.900 they said about
00:22:05.480 what they did
00:22:06.040 and why they
00:22:06.460 did it and
00:22:06.780 why they joined
00:22:07.180 the Taliban
00:22:07.580 and why they
00:22:08.000 joined Al-Qaeda,
00:22:09.260 it follows a
00:22:10.380 logic pattern to
00:22:11.180 them.
00:22:11.900 And if you can
00:22:12.320 understand that
00:22:13.020 pattern, then you
00:22:13.740 can understand how
00:22:14.880 your adversary
00:22:15.380 thinks and then
00:22:16.040 you can understand
00:22:16.640 how your
00:22:17.000 adversary plans
00:22:18.080 and hopefully
00:22:18.860 you could
00:22:19.260 understand what
00:22:20.100 your adversary
00:22:20.560 is going to
00:22:21.040 do next.
00:22:21.540 But in order
00:22:22.000 to do that,
00:22:22.620 you have to
00:22:23.300 understand them.
00:22:24.240 You have to
00:22:24.500 understand their
00:22:24.940 mindset.
00:22:26.260 And so,
00:22:27.120 you know,
00:22:27.560 when we were
00:22:28.380 at Guantanamo,
00:22:29.160 it was our
00:22:30.040 job to
00:22:30.500 understand what
00:22:31.940 you're doing
00:22:32.260 counterterrorism
00:22:33.100 work, okay?
00:22:34.060 You have to
00:22:34.700 understand what
00:22:35.800 the radical
00:22:36.560 Islamic mindset
00:22:37.960 is, even though
00:22:38.800 of course you're
00:22:39.160 never allowed to
00:22:39.600 say that, right?
00:22:40.400 Even at Guantanamo
00:22:41.860 Bay, we weren't
00:22:42.480 allowed to say
00:22:43.080 radical Islam,
00:22:44.180 even though that's
00:22:45.000 obvious what we
00:22:45.820 were dealing
00:22:46.200 with.
00:22:46.940 And so me and
00:22:47.420 some of the
00:22:47.700 other guys who
00:22:48.220 understood that,
00:22:49.160 guys who are,
00:22:50.480 you know, still
00:22:50.800 in the IC that I
00:22:51.440 talked to today,
00:22:52.580 we would kind of
00:22:53.420 sit back and hold
00:22:54.220 our own meetings
00:22:54.900 after the first
00:22:55.660 meeting and say,
00:22:56.280 okay, here's what's
00:22:56.820 really going on.
00:22:58.240 But then, you know,
00:22:59.180 when the boss is
00:22:59.660 around, you're not
00:23:00.180 allowed to say
00:23:01.040 radical Islamic
00:23:01.700 terrorism, you know,
00:23:03.340 not like your
00:23:04.100 direct boss, but like
00:23:04.880 your higher, higher
00:23:05.740 boss.
00:23:07.100 But with this one,
00:23:08.820 I want to understand,
00:23:10.220 why do you actually
00:23:11.420 believe these things?
00:23:12.420 especially when you
00:23:14.460 come from a
00:23:15.960 country that is
00:23:18.080 clearly one of the
00:23:19.100 most authoritarian
00:23:19.820 countries on the face
00:23:20.980 of the planet, that
00:23:22.380 your father works
00:23:23.620 right.
00:23:23.880 And by the way, do
00:23:25.160 you think there's
00:23:25.600 daddy issues involved
00:23:26.420 here?
00:23:26.900 There's definitely
00:23:27.880 daddy issues on
00:23:28.940 here.
00:23:29.880 Producers, pull up
00:23:30.780 her relationship with
00:23:31.740 her father, if you
00:23:32.720 will.
00:23:33.340 Let's take a look at
00:23:34.160 that because there's
00:23:36.080 obviously some daddy
00:23:36.960 issues going on here.
00:23:37.780 She wishes maybe her
00:23:39.000 dad didn't join the
00:23:39.860 Red Guards.
00:23:40.480 Maybe the Red Guards
00:23:41.260 weren't weren't good
00:23:42.140 enough for him.
00:23:42.740 Maybe.
00:23:43.220 And you look at some
00:23:44.000 of these situations,
00:23:44.640 right?
00:23:45.620 The Red Guards, how
00:23:47.620 even Mao, how did Mao
00:23:49.300 deal with the Red Guards
00:23:50.260 after the Chinese
00:23:51.460 radicalized the youth
00:23:52.680 so much?
00:23:53.660 They had to send in
00:23:54.480 the military to round
00:23:55.840 them all up and
00:23:56.540 disarm them and send
00:23:57.760 them all to the
00:23:58.180 countryside.
00:23:59.060 The Red Army had to
00:24:00.220 come in because these
00:24:00.880 people had gotten so
00:24:01.600 crazy.
00:24:02.420 And so we've got a
00:24:03.440 situation here where
00:24:04.300 it's actually kind of
00:24:04.920 backfired on them
00:24:05.960 because a member of
00:24:07.460 Antifa has actually
00:24:08.920 become the thing
00:24:10.240 that they were trying
00:24:11.240 to stop because they
00:24:12.620 came to the United
00:24:13.200 States.
00:24:14.700 And then, of course,
00:24:15.480 we have to ask
00:24:16.020 ourselves as Americans
00:24:16.980 and, you know, look
00:24:19.840 at this guy's go to
00:24:20.500 the post millennial.
00:24:21.140 You can see all this.
00:24:21.740 This guy is just CCP
00:24:22.800 pharma all the way
00:24:23.920 back for since the
00:24:25.180 1980s.
00:24:26.640 Fingers on a lot of
00:24:27.420 pots.
00:24:28.720 But we also have to
00:24:29.700 understand what's going
00:24:30.480 on in our country.
00:24:32.780 The remnants of the
00:24:34.760 2020 color revolution
00:24:36.160 are still being felt
00:24:38.980 today.
00:24:39.260 The radicalization
00:24:40.400 forces that were
00:24:41.220 unleashed by the
00:24:41.960 highest levels of our
00:24:43.380 government, of the
00:24:44.880 regime, of our
00:24:45.540 hierarchy, of our
00:24:46.260 establishment, are
00:24:47.100 still there.
00:24:48.700 These forces are still
00:24:49.960 there and they can be
00:24:50.800 called upon whenever
00:24:52.240 they're needed, as we
00:24:53.760 saw this week in
00:24:54.340 Atlanta.
00:24:55.500 So the greater
00:24:56.320 question for us is,
00:24:57.960 what is it about our
00:24:59.200 society today that
00:25:00.700 produces a massive
00:25:02.620 uptick in groups like
00:25:04.440 Antifa?
00:25:05.400 Why do they hate our
00:25:06.880 country so much and
00:25:07.860 why have they been
00:25:08.420 taught to hate
00:25:09.640 traditional American
00:25:11.860 values?
00:25:13.780 And that's what we
00:25:14.540 stand for.
00:25:15.880 Ladies and gentlemen,
00:25:16.780 as always, you have my
00:25:17.520 permission to lay
00:25:18.200 ashore.
00:25:18.900 Thank you.
00:25:30.340 Thank you.
