Igor Kolomoisky, Ukraine's best-known oligarch, has a complicated history with the president.
00:00:45.260
For years, Zelensky's company has produced shows for Kolomoisky's biggest TV channel,
00:00:50.620
1plus1. In 2019, Kolomoisky's media channels gave a big boost to Zelensky's presidential campaign.
00:00:57.700
After Zelensky's victory, Kolomoisky kept up his relationship with the president,
00:01:02.340
nominating over 30 lawmakers to Zelensky's newly established party and maintaining influence
00:01:07.720
with many of them in parliament. He also backed a new political project, which has 24 lawmakers.
00:01:13.700
The first year of Zelensky's rule was a revival for Kolomoisky. The oligarch was able to secure
00:01:19.080
control over Ukrainafta, a state-owned petroleum producer where he owns a minority stake.
00:01:24.600
In 2020, Ukrainafta was supposed to be cleared of all debt and receive a new independent director.
00:01:31.480
Kolomoisky was able to stall the process and keep a favorable CEO in place.
00:01:36.700
Until recently, Kolomoisky held his grip on another state company,
00:01:41.120
Centrenerga, which controls 15% of Ukraine's energy production.
00:01:44.880
Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily,
00:01:48.840
powered by Turning Point USA. Today is February 1st, 2023, Anno Domini.
00:01:55.240
Igor Kolomoisky, an interesting story of a Ukrainian oligarch who has just been raided,
00:02:01.820
we're told, by Reuters in Ukraine. Now, what's interesting about this, and the clip that we just
00:02:08.180
played for you is from the Kiev Post, and tells us that this guy, Kolomoisky, was once known as one
00:02:14.680
of the major backers of Vladimir Zelensky. So, he was one of the major backers of him.
00:02:22.500
He was one of the oligarchs, obviously one of the most powerful oligarchs, or prior to this,
00:02:26.760
we should say, one of the most powerful oligarchs in Ukraine.
00:02:29.160
Another interesting tidbit about Kolomoisky, that if you go all the way back, as we've done,
00:02:38.220
to the Anti-Corruption Action Center of Ukraine, in 2012, they ran a piece on Kolomoisky,
00:02:48.680
where they were digging through all of the various holdings, all of the various financial dealings
00:02:55.180
that this oligarch was involved in. And that if you dig through the layers of banking and shell
00:03:02.400
companies, and companies based out of Cyprus, the Cypriot companies, the holding companies, etc.,
00:03:08.100
you actually find something quite interesting. That at this point, the Ukrainian Anti-Corruption
00:03:15.420
Action Center, the Ukrainian government, which is supported by the US State Department,
00:03:21.080
found that Igor Kolomoisky was actually the money behind none other than Burisma Energy.
00:03:32.300
So, Burisma, the company that Hunter Biden was on the board of, this guy's Lechevsky.
00:03:41.900
They were digging into him. They started investigating him. Joe Biden got that guy fired. The prosecutor
00:03:49.120
fired. Now, here comes Kolomoisky. What's SBU? The internal security services of Ukraine have just
00:04:01.120
raided Kolomoisky. This guy is directly tied financially to Burisma, essentially the money
00:04:07.200
controlling the whole thing, controlling the energy resources, and at one point had been one of the top
00:04:13.540
oligarchs behind Zelensky, and certainly behind Zelensky's rise, not only during his political
00:04:20.040
time, but also when he was a TV entertainer. He was the guy that funded the majority of his TV shows
00:04:24.960
that made him a household name in Ukraine. Here's what's going on. As the political machinations
00:04:33.240
turn on in this region, as Russia is fighting and digging in harder in places like Soledar and Bakhmut,
00:04:42.540
places in the Donbass region, the Volgograd Gap region, which I talked about yesterday on War Room,
00:04:48.680
which of course is reminiscent of the Battle of Stalingrad. That's only a few hundred miles,
00:04:53.800
a few hundred kilometers from where the fighting is today. The United States is putting pressure on
00:05:00.900
Ukraine, certainly. And if you think that all of these tanks, all of this equipment is going over
00:05:07.000
without any strings attached, then you're not paying attention. So Kolomoisky has been one for
00:05:12.180
fraud in the United States for a long time, but he's been able to buy time. He's been able to buy
00:05:16.260
support by funding various items. In fact, there's also information linking Igor Kolomoisky
00:05:22.960
to the initial funding of none other than the neo-Nazi Azov battalion, the very same Azov battalion
00:05:30.720
that we're told again and again has nothing to do with Nazism. It has nothing to do with the support
00:05:37.100
of this guy, Stepan Bandera. What do I mean to say by all this? What I mean to say is the situation in
00:05:44.320
Ukraine is deeper than I think people understand. They want to paint this picture of just Ukraine versus
00:05:52.480
Russia and the US is supporting Ukraine and that's all it is. And that's all we have to focus on.
00:05:57.360
But there's always stuff going on behind the scenes. There's always a layer of money. There's
00:06:02.480
always a layer of power. And when you see these things going on and on throughout the world,
00:06:08.400
throughout different regions of the world, the fact that the war on terror gets turned off at the very
00:06:13.600
same time, just months later, before the war in Eurasia kicks off and suddenly US defense contractors
00:06:22.000
are sending money and sending tanks to Ukraine when they can't send any more tanks to their
00:06:28.240
partner governments in Iraq and Afghanistan, you really have to ask yourself who is benefiting from
00:06:34.320
all of this. And why is it that the current government of the United States, and when I say
00:06:38.960
that, I don't mean the Biden administration. I mean the globalist American empire, the GAE.
00:06:46.960
What is the GAE up to? Well, it seems in this case that Igor Kolomoisky has fallen out of favor
00:06:53.520
with the GAE. And the question is, what is the relationship between the GAE and Vladimir Zelensky?
00:07:02.320
Because this guy was the big backer. Now their backer is none other than the GAE. They're getting
00:07:08.800
their hooks in. They're making sure there's no other way out. And so that's the high level analysis
00:07:17.360
that we're doing here. We can go in and we can describe the capabilities of these platforms. We
00:07:21.760
can describe the ammunition. We can describe the tactics, but we have to look a little bit further.
00:07:26.240
And that's what we always try to do here on Human Events Daily. That's why you have to make sure
00:07:29.600
you're sharing, you're subscribing, you make sure you click to subscribe on the podcast. You can be able
00:07:34.480
to get this as soon as it comes out, because this information is stuff that you are not going to
00:07:38.960
get. And by the way, Reuters is reporting it, Bloomberg's reporting it. They're not telling
00:07:42.240
you the backstory. Do you ever get the feeling that the world is being held together with duct tape?
00:07:47.040
I certainly do. Every day we are thrown some new meaningless drama in the fake news to distract us
00:07:53.360
from the reality that we are all about to face. Systems are crumbling. Complex systems are failing and
00:07:59.520
falling every single day. Between the government trying to print their way out of debt, global
00:08:03.280
military conflicts, the disintegration of our most trusted institutions, and a looming food shortage,
00:08:08.480
preparedness is no longer a choice. It's a necessity. And you can trust My Patriot Supply.
00:08:14.240
Their three-month emergency food kit comes packed with tasty, and I do mean tasty,
00:08:18.080
breakfast, lunches, and dinners, drinks, and snacks. It averages over 2,000 calories per day.

00:08:43.200
before the next crisis strikes. That's MyPatriotSupply.com. Governor Newsom is signing a new bill aimed at
00:08:51.360
reforming California's criminal justice system, among them one that bans certain chokeholds and
00:08:57.040
neck restraints by police. The legislation was spurred by the police killing of George Floyd,
00:09:01.840
although the suffocation that led to Floyd's death is not actually banned under this new law.
00:09:07.520
Other measures signed this week are aimed at eliminating discrimination in jury selection
00:09:12.320
and also prohibit the use of race to obtain convictions or impose sentences. And the governor also
00:09:19.440
signed an historic law that paves the way for the descendants of slaves to receive reparations.
00:09:26.000
Governor Newsom says it will impact. Its impact will be felt beyond the state.
00:09:31.040
This is not just about California. It's about making an impact in a debt across the rest of the country.
00:09:37.120
The law does not commit to any specific payment, but it does establish a nine-person task force
00:09:42.320
to study the impact of slavery on black people in California and recommend compensation to the legislature.
00:09:48.400
Well, in a story out of the Daily Mail, it seems that California has decided to take their step in
00:09:55.600
what they call criminal reform, another move forward. And so for years, the state of California has decided
00:10:04.080
to not take crime seriously anymore, to not seriously sentence anyone. If someone's sentenced to death,
00:10:10.320
then they're not actually going to carry out the sentence. They're not going to do anything,
00:10:13.840
essentially to punish crime. But here's what's amazing. And by the way, of course, we've already
00:10:20.800
gotten so compact mag Benji Sarlin did a huge response to myself and Matt Walsh from Daily Wire
00:10:27.920
when we came out in support of flogging. If you remember the special that we did on Sunday,
00:10:32.000
we were talking all about while Singapore does well because they use corporal punishment on their
00:10:38.080
prisoners. And this actually has the ability of setting society right. That's the point of punishment
00:10:43.840
crime. The point of punishing crime is not necessarily to go around being the moral police.
00:10:48.160
It's obviously a moral act, but let me explain. The reason that society punishes crime is because it is
00:10:53.840
in the best interest of society to correct itself and to deal with the criminal element to correct this
00:10:59.600
behavior. That it's not necessarily sitting there saying, we're going to make you a model citizen.
00:11:04.640
It's to let you know that there are what we were in the military would call left, right limits.
00:11:09.360
There are left, right limits to your behavior. There are left, right minutes limits to what we'll
00:11:14.160
allow in public society. And crime is obviously one of them. We will not allow this. We should not.
00:11:20.880
And by the way, I'm not talking about the state of things today. I'm talking about how it should be.
00:11:24.960
This is why crime is punished. Why would you punish crime? Why not just let people do whatever they want?
00:11:30.080
Because you cannot have an ordered society without the maintenance of that order. And it is an ordered
00:11:36.320
society that then is able to produce airports like you would see a Chongmi in Singapore. That's the
00:11:42.960
entire point of all of this. And of course, Benji in Compact where I appreciated his take,
00:11:48.160
but he said, well, they're just investing more and we don't invest more. But you have to put the pieces
00:11:54.320
together as much as what I'm saying. You have to actually put it together. But what's California
00:11:58.720
doing? Because California, we know has funded billions and billions of dollars in their
00:12:02.800
infrastructure for their trains that don't exist, their high-speed rails that don't exist. Things
00:12:07.040
that Gavin Newsom said for years would happen, but now they won't. So what's Gavin Newsom's people doing
00:12:11.280
now? California's controversial reparations panel is pushing the state legislature to close 10 prisons
00:12:18.240
in addition to ensuring current inmates also receive. I love this. This is like Gavin Newsom's boys.
00:12:23.360
This is their next thing. Ensuring that current inmates receive fair wages and be eligible to
00:12:29.360
vote. This is from the Daily Mail. It was earlier reported that the panel was seeking to pass laws
00:12:34.080
creating a wealth tax, mansion tax, and or property tax in order to fund the billion-dollar reparations.
00:12:39.200
The purported figure is being mentioned per person at $223,000. And I want to just remind you
00:12:46.560
that if we get to a point in this country where $223,000 checks are passed out to one group of
00:12:53.200
people and not other groups of people, that is the day our country will be lost. Because
00:12:59.440
you will create so much resentment and so much anger in this country that I don't think you'll be able
00:13:04.400
to put the pieces back. You will shatter this nation. You will absolutely shatter this nation.
00:13:08.640
I'm not even arguing whether, oh, well, should we do rap? What about the Americans? I'm just,
00:13:12.800
I'm saying, I'm telling you like it is. I'm just telling you like it is that if the government walks up
00:13:17.680
and starts doing this, that you will drive people absolutely insane. But let's go through and read
00:13:22.240
some more about this because apparently these are the same prisons that house some of the most
00:13:28.640
notorious prisoners in the entire country, including serial killers, lifelong gang members,
00:13:33.120
right? The Latin Kings, MS-13, they're in the Crips, the Bloods. It's California we're talking about.
00:13:39.120
But what I wanted to get into, in effect, and let me look in this article here.
00:13:42.800
Okay. So it doesn't say exactly. Oh, look at this. The report also recommends developing
00:13:49.440
safe spaces for prisoners. Oh, safe spaces. That's so nice. So you understand what's going
00:13:55.280
on here as well. What they're doing, what they're doing is trying to pave the way
00:14:01.840
for Gavin Newsom again, because as we know, as we know, Gavin Newsom wants to be the president of the
00:14:09.840
United States. But here's a problem with Gavin Newsom when it comes to the intersectional
00:14:13.520
Pokémon points. He doesn't have any. He has zero intersectional Pokémon points. He's a straight
00:14:22.560
white man who has children with his white wife. And so this is a problem for the intersexual,
00:14:29.760
inter, I'm just going to say intersexual Olympics. So in that he's got no points. So what did he do?
00:14:35.440
He's going to push the most extreme reparations. He's going to push the most extreme anti-social
00:14:39.920
policies you've ever seen, like paying criminals to be in prison. This is insane. No serious country
00:14:47.440
would ever do this. But because there are people in this country that actually exist and believe in
00:14:55.120
the full on undermining of our society, the full on undermining of our civilization, they have decided
00:15:00.400
that it is a positive. And what politicians like Gavin Newsom do is they go around to these groups
00:15:05.840
and they say, I will be your champion. I will give you whatever you want. I will do whatever you want
00:15:10.720
in order to attain power. Once they attain that power, they'll never even pick up the phone and call
00:15:16.880
those groups again. Or worse, they'll go turn around and put those groups in charge. Because here's the
00:15:21.760
thing. At the end of the day, ladies and gentlemen, it's not about reparations. It's about destroying
00:15:29.280
society. They hate Western civilization and they want to undermine it. It's as simple as that.
00:15:35.120
That's all they do. These professors, these reformers, these activists, these groups,
00:15:39.760
all they want to do is eke out their resentment, justify it and destroy everything that's been built
00:15:47.520
before them. The dollar just hit a seven month low and we all saw what happened to the crypto market
00:15:52.960
last year. Why would you trust your hard earned savings with unstable governments printing more money

00:16:44.160
Prosecutors in New Mexico formalizing those charges against Baldwin as well as the film's
00:16:50.880
armor, if convicted, both facing up to five years in prison. Actor Alec Baldwin seen for the first time
00:16:57.280
after involuntary manslaughter charges were filed in New Mexico in the shooting death of cinematographer
00:17:02.640
Helena Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust. New court documents filed Tuesday stating Baldwin failed
00:17:10.240
to act to mitigate or correct the reckless safety violations, neither in his capacity as actor nor
00:17:16.000
producer, and that Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, also charged with involuntary manslaughter, failed to do the
00:17:21.600
same in her capacity as the film's armor, directly resulting in Hutchins death. Prosecutors say video and photos
00:17:28.080
from the movie set in October of 2021 show Baldwin with his finger on the trigger. The FBI concluding the
00:17:34.560
trigger had to have been pulled despite Baldwin insisting otherwise. Alec Baldwin has been charged
00:17:42.800
involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct for shooting and killing his staffer in the New
00:17:49.840
Mexico set, Santa Fe, New Mexico set of his movie Rust in October 2021. And the documents are out. We have
00:17:57.600
them. You guys, it's so much worse than we actually thought. Because what we have here is now
00:18:04.560
the investigatory documents. This is the results of the investigation. So we've seen stuff that's
00:18:09.920
leaked to the media. We've seen public statements from the prosecutors. We've obviously heard Baldwin's
00:18:14.720
completely insane interviews, which he never should have done. But now we've got the cold,
00:18:19.840
hard facts. Now, keep in mind, this isn't all the evidence. But what this is, is a probable cause
00:18:26.000
statement that's leading to the charge. And it's pretty bad. It's very, very bad for Baldwin.
00:18:33.520
And something that producer Angelo actually pointed out, but it's exactly what we've been talking about
00:18:41.040
all along here on the program, is that they investigated the dual roles of Alec Baldwin in
00:18:49.280
this movie. What do I mean by that? They conducted two investigations of Baldwin. They investigated him
00:18:56.240
as an actor and they investigated him as a producer. And this is significant because he's got two sets of
00:19:04.640
liability here. So they actually investigated him both. Listen to this and I'm going to pull up the
00:19:10.880
actual document here. I'll just read from it. Statements and evidence show Baldwin was not present
00:19:16.800
for required firearms training prior to the commencement of filming. Statements, depositions from OSHA,
00:19:23.200
and evidence show Baldwin was provided minimal training on firearms even after Reed, that's the
00:19:28.560
gunner, the armorer, requested more training for Baldwin. I was about to say Gunner's mate.
00:19:34.720
In the deposition taken from Reed, she stated Baldwin had very limited training on the cross draw
00:19:40.160
that was required for the scene on the 21st and limited training in firearms and how to check his own
00:19:44.480
firearm as to whether it was unloaded or loaded, in which Reed felt it was very important in his role
00:19:49.760
on the film. A training session for at least an hour or more in length was scheduled,
00:19:55.040
but the actual training consisted only of approximately 30 minutes, according to Reed.
00:20:00.000
Baldwin was distracted and talking on his cell phone to his family during the required weapons safety
00:20:08.400
training. Baldwin approached responding deputies on the day of the shooting, wanting to talk to them
00:20:14.160
because he believed he was the one who, quote, fired the gun.
00:20:21.840
This is why you don't talk without a lawyer. I keep saying this. This is why you do not talk
00:20:26.880
with a lawyer. Baldwin later asserted that he never fired the revolver that had just, quote,
00:20:31.920
gone off. He made this assertion public as well as in multiple media interviews conducted after the
00:20:37.680
shooting. Many media interviews and law enforcement interviews were conducted by Baldwin and he displayed
00:20:43.840
very inconsistent accounts of what happened during the incident. Now we get into the actual evidence
00:20:49.760
here. This is so fascinating. Photo and video evidence from inside the church on the day of the

shooting show some of the rehearsal up to and including moments before the shooting. The photos and
00:21:02.000
videos depict the above described actions as Baldwin prior to the shooting practicing drawing and pointing
00:21:07.920
the weapon. The photos and videos clearly show Baldwin multiple times with his finger inside of the trigger
00:21:15.440
guard and on the trigger while manipulating the hammer and while drawing, pointing and holstering the
00:21:22.320
revolver. So let me explain something to you. If you are manipulating the hammer with your finger on the trigger,
00:21:29.680
you are completely insane if you're doing that while you're pointing it at another human being that
00:21:34.480
you do not intend to destroy. That is the point of the gun. That is why the business end is never to
00:21:40.480
be pointed at someone that you do not intend to kill. A gun does one thing. A firearm does one thing. It
00:21:48.400
pushes a piece of metal forward. That's the only thing it does. It's as simple as that. And the mechanism for
00:21:54.960
that is the trigger and the hammer helps with that trigger. Because if you've decocked the hammer,
00:22:04.240
now the pressure required on the trigger is going to be much, much less. So if you're fiddling around
00:22:11.600
with that thing while your finger's on the trigger, all you're doing is asking for trouble. It's like
00:22:17.600
driving a car down. It's like driving a car through the Holland tunnel backwards and getting upset at
00:22:27.040
the people driving the other way. That's exactly what Alec Baldwin did here. The revolver involved
00:22:33.600
in the shooting was seized by detectives as evidence. It was later submitted to the FBI crime lab. They go
00:22:38.720
through the various experiments. They tried to get it to fire without the trigger. They tried striking the
00:22:44.160
hammer. They tried multiple angles against a solid object, striking the hammer of the revolver with an
00:22:49.040
actual hammer. The revolver did not malfunction. It did not misfire. The same revolver. The analysis clearly
00:22:56.080
showed that the weapon could not accidentally fire. For the weapon to fire, the FBI in their ballistics lab
00:23:02.800
found only one way. They found only one way for it to fire. The pulling of the trigger of the firearm. And all of this
00:23:11.280
documentation went down. They also go through, and I don't have time to read through the entire document
00:23:16.400
here, but I encourage you to go read the charging documents yourself to see what they are because
00:23:20.160
they also investigate Baldwin's role as the producer. It was his job to ensure the safety of
00:23:26.800
the set. It was his job to ensure the safety of his own employees on the set. He failed to do that. In fact,
00:23:34.400
given the sense that this was a rehearsal in the first place, given that,
00:23:37.760
why were they using a real gun at all? Why not just use a prop? Why not use a replica? Why not use
00:23:43.920
a rubber gun? Why not just hold your hand there? There's no reason whatsoever for him to be used an
00:23:50.640
actual gun for this. It was obviously reckless conduct. And this is why, this is why just like
00:23:57.040
driving your car backwards through the Holland Tunnel is reckless on your part because you are liable for
00:24:03.360
your actions. When you're holding a gun, you know that it is an inherently dangerous object,
00:24:09.600
that no matter what you're doing, no matter who talked to you about the gun, no matter who
00:24:14.480
handed the gun to you and said, don't worry about it, et cetera, et cetera. It does not matter
00:24:18.640
because just like when you get behind the wheel of a car, the actions taken afterwards are yours.
00:24:24.320
If you borrow someone's car and you mow someone down with it, that other person is not liable. You are.
00:24:31.040
You are the person who did it. Now, there could be other circumstances if the other person saw your
00:24:34.880
inebriated, et cetera, et cetera, but you get what I'm saying. Alec Baldwin, this case does not look
00:24:40.800
good for you. I hope your lawyers do yourself a favor and tell you to shut up. Ladies and gentlemen,
00:24:47.520
as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
