Human Events Daily with Jack Posobiec - EPISODE 395： RUSSIA PLANNING MASSIVE OFFENSIVE AS ONE YEAR MARK APPROACHES IN 9 DAYS

00:00:00.000 Russia is planning a massive offensive as the one-year mark approaches with the war in Ukraine in nine days.

00:00:07.280 Human Events Daily is here to break it down, as well as the latest from Cy Hirsch and the Biden bombing of Nord Stream 2.

00:00:14.400 Folks, if you want to catch all the stuff that we use for show prep, the stuff that I read, the stuff that we send back and forth,

00:00:22.660 even the stories that we don't necessarily get to on the show, you must sign up for the POSO Daily Brief.

00:00:27.600 Just go to humanevents.com slash POSO, humanevents.com slash POSO.

00:00:31.520 We'll be able to sign you up for that. It is completely free. You will love it as much as I do.

00:00:37.100 Let's get into it.

00:00:48.260 What happens is there was an exercise in June, and it was supposed to.

00:00:53.300 The bombs were put in there under the cover of a NATO exercise.

00:01:00.080 There were a lot of different countries running around with divers and blowing up things.

00:01:05.820 It was an exercise to go find and chase mines. There never had been one before.

00:01:10.140 It actually was whoever in the CIA or the other agencies that thought this up should get a bow because it was pretty ingenious.

00:01:16.120 So in that exercise, the divers went down, did what they were trained to do.

00:01:20.360 They're very good. C4, a couple hundred, whatever the weight is, bombs enough to blow up most cities, most buildings in Washington and some in New York anyway.

00:01:30.860 They did their job, but the president at the last minute hesitated because he was afraid blowing it up right after the exercise would put the finger at us.

00:01:41.900 And then he wanted permission to do it any time, and that caused an enormous trouble in the team.

00:01:47.580 The team was, you know, people are sophisticated in the intelligence services.

00:01:52.860 I know we have cliches about them. We see the movies about them.

00:01:56.800 And the bottom line is they were this made sense of them blowing up a pipeline, blowing up a pipeline.

00:02:05.800 It's actually owned by a division of gas prom ones, 50, 51 percent.

00:02:10.720 That's all the Russian oligarchs and 49 percent of the Nord Stream 1 are owned by four business groups in the Western Europe who farm out the oil.

00:02:19.020 Anyway, they saw the threat as being valid.

00:02:23.900 And if he wanted to do it during an exercise, well, OK.

00:02:27.660 But in September, late September, they got the word, you know, they fixed it so he could.

00:02:33.220 But then they thought it was I don't know what they thought, but I don't think they thought in late September he would blow up the main pipeline, Nord Stream 2, which is a new one.

00:02:41.440 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily powered by Turning Point USA.

00:02:45.360 Today is February 15th, 2023, Anno Domini.

00:02:50.540 Where is President Biden?

00:02:53.680 So ever since Seymour Hersh dropped this giant bomb on the Biden administration, bigger than the bombs that blew up the Nord Stream pipelines,

00:03:03.340 Biden seems to have been forced back into his basement.

00:03:07.700 Basement Biden is back, folks.

00:03:09.420 And this guy has not responded.

00:03:11.360 He's trying very hard to simply act like none of this is happening.

00:03:15.820 He's acting like Hersh, who, by the way, you just heard.

00:03:19.280 And Seymour Hersh is the first interview that he's done since this bombshell dropped just a couple of days ago.

00:03:25.180 He's explaining exactly what we told you here on Human Events Daily.

00:03:29.580 We got it right, that he is coming out now.

00:03:34.440 And the reason that Biden decided to blow up Nord Stream 1 and 2 was to exert U.S. dominance over Germany.

00:03:43.980 It's part of the great game.

00:03:45.660 Once again, you have to go back to Lord Isley, the founding of NATO.

00:03:48.500 What is the point of NATO?

00:03:49.700 To keep the Americans in, the Russians out, and the Germans down. 1.00

00:03:53.620 This is the point of NATO.

00:03:54.980 That's what Lord Isley, the initial NATO commander, told us.

00:03:58.320 Okay, that's what he told us.

00:04:00.360 So here's what Hersh is saying.

00:04:02.300 He's saying it's quite simple.

00:04:03.980 We thought that the Germans were getting wobbly.

00:04:06.760 Or, you know, the Americans thought that.

00:04:08.160 The American government thought that.

00:04:09.360 They thought the Germans were trying to find ways to turn Nord Stream back on.

00:04:14.240 They wanted it to get back on.

00:04:16.100 They weren't going along with some of the sanctions they were trying to pull out.

00:04:19.820 They may not have committed to tanks and everything else.

00:04:22.460 They were saying, look, we want to keep a door open because we want this cheap gas.

00:04:28.320 Okay, we want that.

00:04:30.120 Because of that, they were not as fully committed to the war in Ukraine as the United States wanted.

00:04:36.480 Well, guess what?

00:04:38.580 All of a sudden, the decision was taken out of their hands because the pipelines were blown up.

00:04:44.000 Now, the LNG is flowing to Germany from Norway and from the United States.

00:04:49.860 It is not coming from Russia.

00:04:52.860 And what is heading between Germany and Russia?

00:04:56.520 Oh, that's right.

00:04:57.100 Tanks.

00:04:57.580 The Leopard 2 tanks are now rolling.

00:04:59.660 They're now on their way through.

00:05:01.940 So you got to understand the background of all this, folks, for it to make sense.

00:05:05.960 And we see the people who benefit from this.

00:05:07.840 And I told you from the very start, qui bono, qui malo?

00:05:13.940 Who benefits?

00:05:15.420 Who suffers?

00:05:16.800 Follow the money.

00:05:18.080 Search the petrol.

00:05:19.080 Follow the petrol.

00:05:20.400 But here's the other part that I think a lot of people are missing.

00:05:24.320 We are now just nine days away from the one-year anniversary of the war in Ukraine.

00:05:35.200 Now, there are people who argue, of course, that it started all the way back in 2014.

00:05:39.580 So we're actually at the nine-year anniversary.

00:05:41.600 But we're talking about the current situation, the current campaign, one-year anniversary.

00:05:47.920 And you look what's going on over there.

00:05:49.540 Russia is preparing thousands of troops.

00:05:53.960 This partial mobilization that they've done, those troops are now coming online.

00:05:59.320 Fighter aircraft, bombers are getting ready.

00:06:04.080 They're sending ships out of their northern sea fleet with tactical nuclear weapons for the first time in 30 years.

00:06:11.100 Now, the United States does this.

00:06:13.140 But this is the first time we've seen Russia do this in 30 years.

00:06:15.940 All of which means to say they are getting ready.

00:06:22.120 They're getting ready to turn up the heat.

00:06:24.380 And Biden, believe it or not, President Biden, he's been de-emphasizing Ukraine.

00:06:29.960 You notice this?

00:06:30.700 He barely talked about it in the State of the Union.

00:06:33.060 Yeah, he mentioned it.

00:06:34.300 But it certainly wasn't a pitch.

00:06:35.720 I mean, that was a MAGA State of the Union address.

00:06:38.680 It was economic populism, economic nationalism, the entire thing.

00:06:41.920 And then he mentions it almost as an aside, as an add-on.

00:06:47.820 And yes, Biden will be going to Poland.

00:06:51.320 Because, of course, Biden's handlers are telling him, look, you have to go.

00:06:55.520 You have to show resolve.

00:06:56.920 You have to give the speech.

00:06:58.000 Right.

00:06:58.340 So he's going to get in.

00:06:59.620 He's going to walk off the plane.

00:07:01.080 He'll give the speech.

00:07:02.300 He might do one of those surprise visits to the U.S. troops out there.

00:07:05.440 Then he's going to go back home.

00:07:07.000 It's a dog and pony show.

00:07:09.440 So, don't fall for the theater.

00:07:13.340 Don't get caught up.

00:07:15.380 Because here on this program, we're not focused so much on what's on stage.

00:07:21.100 We're telling you about the man behind the curtain.

00:07:24.940 All the men behind the curtain.

00:07:26.900 Because we know that President Biden is not the one making these decisions.

00:07:31.080 We saw this from Seymour Hersh's article.

00:07:33.400 A lot of these decisions were made for him by his staff.

00:07:39.320 And they know, by the way, that the popularity of this war, the longer it continues, is getting less and less every day.

00:07:46.400 The United States is asking, why are we not doing anything to stop the killing, to help the families that are caught up in this?

00:07:54.400 They're seeing the images, these horrific images of the warfire and the fighting out of Bakhmut, Soledadar, some of these places out in the east in the Donbass.

00:08:04.180 And they're saying, this is horrific.

00:08:05.620 How do we stop it?

00:08:06.460 How do we make it go away?

00:08:07.480 We don't want to see this anymore.

00:08:08.900 And Biden turns around and says, we just need more warfare.

00:08:13.600 Guess what?

00:08:14.020 We've heard that before.

00:08:15.120 And that was called Afghanistan for 20 years.

00:08:18.960 The United States invades Afghanistan, tries to set up a government, completely fails.

00:08:28.340 And then continues fighting and fighting and fighting for 20 years, destroys the country and then leaves.

00:08:35.020 And Taliban take right back over. 0.91

00:08:38.900 So it's no coincidence that Ukraine gets turned on just after the pull out of Afghanistan.

00:08:44.840 They want to turn it into Ukrainistan as the military industrial complex rolls on.

00:08:53.180 When Christopher Columbus first came in contact with Native Americans, it was the Arawak people in the Bahamas.

00:08:59.900 I'll read to you from Columbus's journal.

00:09:04.240 They willingly traded us everything they owned.

00:09:08.900 They do not bear arms and do not know them.

00:09:11.400 For I showed them a sword.

00:09:12.660 They took it by the edge and cut themselves out of ignorance. 0.92

00:09:16.860 They will make fine slaves.

00:09:20.000 With 50 men, we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want. 0.71

00:09:24.580 Do you ever feel like that, Trent?

00:09:33.520 Do you ever feel like making someone do what you want, whether they want to or not?

00:09:39.080 It's a very European mentality, stemming from the oppressive political and religious structures of the Renaissance.

00:09:53.720 Kings and priests with absolute power ruling masses who have none.

00:09:58.460 That was the mentality of the men who discovered America.

00:10:04.840 And it's the mentality our society struggles with today.

00:10:08.920 What you know of history is a dominant culture's justification for its actions.

00:10:13.120 So, if you've been following me on Twitter or anywhere else or just been anywhere on the internet this week, you've seen that Yellowstone memes have taken off.

00:10:23.120 And myself and Mystery Grove and a few other accounts are definitely behind this.

00:10:27.640 And the question is, why?

00:10:28.980 Why are we talking about Yellowstone memes?

00:10:32.340 Now, I should also point out, by the way, that the translation that she's using of Christopher Columbus's diary, by the way, is, of course, the infamous Las Casas translation rather than the original copy.

00:10:47.860 So, what you're reading there is a copy of a supposed diary from a supposed translation of Christopher Columbus's diary, which was done by someone, oh, by the way, who hates Christopher Columbus.

00:11:01.880 So, just pointing out, this is someone that absolutely hated him and wrote their version of Christopher Columbus's diary, which, of course, I'm not going to mention.

00:11:09.960 But the bigger question is, what is up with all the Yellowstone memes?

00:11:13.780 Why am I posting them?

00:11:14.760 Why are we doing this?

00:11:15.480 Are we talking about Yellowstone or are we talking about something bigger?

00:11:19.340 Well, if you remember a couple episodes ago, I introduced you to the concept of the HickLib. 0.55

00:11:25.180 And I pointed out how the HickLib stereotype is something that we've seen big tech and Google, none other than the CEO of Google himself, Sundar Pinchai, admit that the HickLib meme or HickLib content was something that they had pushed people towards when they were searching for other things on the internet.

00:11:44.360 What's the HickLib? 0.98

00:11:44.980 Okay, as a refresher, a HickLib is someone who dresses like a Westerner, dresses like a cowboy, for example, adopts conservative, quote unquote, aesthetics, and then proceeds to spew left wing leftist woke garbage and woke talking points all throughout their content. 0.81

00:12:06.960 You see this all over YouTube.

00:12:09.160 And, of course, Google has come out and admitted under oath in testimony that, yes, they do do this on purpose.

00:12:14.080 It is a psyop.

00:12:14.840 That episode of Yellowstone, by the way, which, just like so many other shows these days, is just inserting wokeness in again and again.

00:12:23.540 I'd like to point out, by the way, that that actress that you're seeing on screen right there who's standing up for Native Americans, who plays a Native American character, in a typical example of Hollywood hypocrisy, she's claiming all of these things, yet she herself is not a Native American.

00:12:42.920 She is, in fact, Chinese, and yet went around claiming that because she had partial Chinese ancestry, that she was, in fact, a Cherokee.

00:12:53.240 She did this for years, and Taylor Sheridan has had her in other work before.

00:12:56.700 This is the guy who wrote Yellowstone in 1883 and 1923 and so many other of these shows.

00:13:01.240 Wrote Sicario, by the way, a fantastic movie.

00:13:03.540 And she used to claim that she was Cherokee until the Cherokee tribe came out and said, no, actually, we have no evidence of that whatsoever.

00:13:11.780 Please stop your Chinese. 1.00

00:13:13.840 And so what is going on here?

00:13:16.680 Why are these shows targeted to seemingly – pick one show other than Yellowstone that's more targeted towards conservatives.

00:13:24.360 Why are they slipping in these woke messages?

00:13:28.080 Why is it that Kevin Costner's character has an Antifa girlfriend on Yellowstone? 0.90

00:13:33.820 Is this random?

00:13:35.240 Is this by chance?

00:13:36.920 No, not at all.

00:13:39.440 This is an example of some – there's two things going on here.

00:13:42.400 There's two things.

00:13:43.680 Number one is the woke toll.

00:13:45.620 And you have to understand the concept of the woke toll if you are watching any content that's out there today.

00:13:51.240 So if you choose to watch this type of content, then you have to understand that everything, doesn't matter if it's Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone, doesn't matter if it's your favorite show on Netflix, your favorite show on Paramount, whatever the networks are, they all are required to insert wokeness.

00:14:10.180 Even if it's one scene, they are required to pay the woke toll.

00:14:15.720 And in fact, it's not even them paying it.

00:14:17.200 It's you.

00:14:17.940 You're the ones paying it because you're giving them your time.

00:14:20.380 You're giving them your money.

00:14:22.340 And instead, they're paying the woke toll.

00:14:25.200 They're forcing wokeness on you. 0.73

00:14:27.320 And so what this is, this is a strategy of something that, to use as a meme, you might compare it to something called the peanut butter dog pill strategy.

00:14:38.520 What's the peanut butter dog pill strategy?

00:14:40.280 Well, if you have a dog, you might know that your dog doesn't like taking pills, taking vitamins, taking medicine, etc.

00:14:46.260 So what do you do?

00:14:47.580 You take that pill and you wrap it up in some peanut butter.

00:14:52.640 Then you hand it to your dog.

00:14:54.220 Your dog will eat the whole thing. 0.90

00:14:56.560 Because the dog loves peanut butter, but doesn't realize that you slipped something inside.

00:15:01.500 That's exactly what Hollywood has started doing now because they know that if they put a show up with like liberal aesthetics, 30 Rock is a great example.

00:15:13.800 You know, conservatives are not watching 30.

00:15:15.700 Some may have, but those shows clearly got liberal aesthetics.

00:15:18.100 Nobody's taken their cues from that.

00:15:21.320 But if you put up a show with guns, horses, cowboys, ranchers, but then you start slipping in woke talking points, Antifa girlfriends, a whole bunch of historical revisionism about Christopher Columbus and Native Americans.

00:15:40.060 And that show 1923 is so anti-Christian.

00:15:43.720 Then they'll hit their target audience of the people they are trying to persuade.

00:15:52.280 They are pacing and leading you.

00:15:54.340 And you're the dog eating the peanut butter.

00:15:57.660 Folks, the dollar just hit a seven month low and we all saw what happened with the crypto market last year.

00:16:54.400 Rust, starring and produced by Alec Baldwin, will resume filming this spring with a mix of new and old crew members.

00:17:00.880 According to Rust Movie Productions, Bianca Klein of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On and American Horror Story will join the film as its cinematographer in place of Helena Hutchins.

00:17:11.880 A documentary on her life, including her work on Rust, spearheaded by director Rachel Mason and producer Julie Metz,

00:17:18.920 will also commence shooting with the quote, full support of the production and Helena's husband, Matthew Hutchins, who will serve as an executive producer on both titles.

00:17:27.680 Rust Movie Productions said in a statement,

00:17:29.560 Additionally, a lawyer for Rust Movie Productions says the scene in which Helena Hutchins was shot has been rewritten.

00:17:50.000 The plans from the production to finish the film come amid the prosecution of Baldwin for manslaughter,

00:17:55.400 multiple lawsuits from former members of the crew against the movie's producers,

00:17:59.560 and an investigation into alleged systemic safety issues on set.

00:18:03.820 So they're going forward with Rust.

00:18:06.920 This movie is going to be released.

00:18:08.760 And you know what?

00:18:10.020 Let me tell you something.

00:18:11.720 People are going to watch it.

00:18:14.440 Alec Baldwin's going to be in this.

00:18:16.760 Everybody's going to know.

00:18:17.800 That a woman was shot to death by Alec Baldwin during the filming.

00:18:23.880 And I'll tell you something else.

00:18:26.400 This is so cynical.

00:18:28.440 It's so nihilistic.

00:18:30.820 But they're right.

00:18:33.720 Because that's our culture today, isn't it?

00:18:36.300 We used to live in a culture that had shame.

00:18:38.840 We used to live in a culture that would never allow something like this to go forward.

00:18:44.260 We would all stand against it.

00:18:46.380 But you know what these guys are doing?

00:18:48.800 They're looking at each other and saying, you know what?

00:18:52.620 The whole world's talking about this movie.

00:18:55.900 We've already got the best marketing plan in the world.

00:19:00.800 It's already out there for us.

00:19:02.600 And everyone's going to know that when that movie comes out,

00:19:05.020 that they will say the controversial film Rust has come out.

00:19:09.720 And everybody's going to market it for them for free because of the death of Helena Hudgens.

00:19:15.540 And the fact that Alec Baldwin will literally be on trial at the same time will generate interest in the film.

00:19:23.060 And there will be people that go to see it because of this or click on it if it's on one of the streaming services.

00:19:28.260 I couldn't think of a better example of everything that's wrong with our society than this.

00:19:34.880 The fact that everybody's going along with this, that they're perfectly fine, making money, profiting, profiting.

00:19:43.020 So, from the death of Alec Baldwin's staffer of the film, death of one of their colleagues, friends, they say.

00:19:55.260 I don't know.

00:19:57.520 It doesn't sit right with me.

00:19:59.160 You're not supposed to receive a monetary benefit.

00:20:01.800 We should actually look that up because I believe there is a law that says you're not allowed to receive monetary benefit from your crimes.

00:20:10.280 So, if Alec Baldwin is convicted, how does that work?

00:20:14.100 Is he even able to receive revenue from the film?

00:20:17.980 Because he's clearly used this shooting death.

00:20:22.520 It's obvious what they're doing.

00:20:24.020 In a sense, we're playing into it right now, even though I am being critical.

00:20:27.380 But they knew that this would generate controversy.

00:20:30.840 And it's probably the most cynical example of troll marketing that I've heard anywhere.

00:20:34.740 Troll marketing is when a company does something to cause a controversy in order to generate interest.

00:20:42.900 So, IHOP did this when they changed their corporate logo from IHOP to IHOB with a B, B for Bravo.

00:20:50.260 And so, they were going to sell burgers.

00:20:51.880 That only lasted like a week.

00:20:52.920 But, again, everyone was talking about it.

00:20:55.140 M&M's did this very recently as well where they faked the cancellation of the M&M characters in order to create this controversy and say, oh, they've been canceled due to gender stereotypes or something or other.

00:21:08.660 They were, like, blaming Tucker Carlson, I guess.

00:21:11.880 And then, during the Super Bowl, they had a commercial that showed that the M&M characters were actually hiding as if it was some sort of kidnapping situation and they were being held hostage by the Wokies. 0.99

00:21:24.220 And so, again, it was just an example of troll marketing that you're talking about M&M's.

00:21:27.140 And here we have troll marketing using the death, the shooting death of a human being.

00:21:37.040 It was a way to sell movie tickets.

00:21:43.060 Got to say, folks, not a fan.

00:21:45.300 Not a fan at all.

00:21:46.720 What kind of culture allows this?

00:21:49.940 And, of course, they're all sitting there saying, you know what?

00:21:51.900 Hey, we're going to make money.

00:21:52.860 That money can be turned over into, you know, lots of good things, right?

00:21:59.540 And so, it's the age-old question of do the ends justify the means?

00:22:04.940 Alec Baldwin's already settled the lawsuit with the family.

00:22:07.580 They were saying that they would tie the settlement, tie the payout that Baldwin would give to the family on the success of the movie.

00:22:18.560 So, you'll say, I believe she had a nine-year-old boy, probably 10 now.

00:22:21.240 So, oh, this will be a college fund for him, and this will help his success, and this will help his father as a producer,

00:22:29.320 is now the executive producer of the film, right?

00:22:32.060 Should we all just go along with this?

00:22:34.540 Is there a moral line in the sand that we should draw to allow the shooting death of someone to become, as I just said,

00:22:47.760 a profit driver, a revenue driver, or should we, as a society, say that when people commit crimes like this,

00:22:59.080 when people commit reckless manslaughter,

00:23:04.260 and I'm going to call it reckless manslaughter, because I think that's what it is,

00:23:07.840 and Alec Baldwin should have to pay for that, absolutely, and anyone who is responsible as well,

00:23:15.620 not just this, well, I guess the assistant director pled out already,

00:23:22.020 and then the armorer is also charged, and she has not pled out.

00:23:27.780 So the assistant director, you know, is going to testify against Baldwin and against her.

00:23:32.800 And that means he's going to have to pay the price.

00:23:35.780 But it still feels to me like there's a deal in the works here.

00:23:38.960 There's something going on behind the scenes that we don't know.

00:23:40.780 They're moving it, by the way, from New Mexico, of course, over to California,

00:23:46.420 where, of course, lots of Westerns are filmed there.

00:23:47.960 But the fact that Alec Baldwin is still going to be in this,

00:23:51.860 is he going to get work after this?

00:23:54.460 Convicted of killing someone.

00:23:57.300 You know, they'll talk about, oh, but President Trump said this,

00:24:00.740 and President Trump said that about women. 1.00

00:24:03.020 Yeah, Alec Baldwin actually killed his staffer, his female staffer.

00:24:07.000 Let's talk about the war on women.

00:24:09.500 Let's talk about women's rights. 0.99

00:24:11.160 You know, the left is always standing up for, oh, women's rights, women's rights, women's rights,

00:24:14.780 women in the workplace. 0.94

00:24:15.460 Yeah, how does Alec Baldwin feel about women in the workplace?

00:24:19.320 What's his record on women in the workplace?

00:24:21.440 Let's take a look.

00:24:23.000 I say we compare.

00:24:24.180 Let's go side by side.

00:24:26.520 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay ashore.
