00:00:25.780 The Poso Daily Brief.

00:00:30.000 We are in a fifth generational conflict.

00:00:37.580 For every lie they tell, we're going to get in their face and yell two truths.

00:00:46.440 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Poso.

00:00:49.520 Christ is king.

00:00:51.060 We have the strongest economy in the world today.

00:00:53.700 The strongest economy in the world today.

00:00:55.440 We have more to do.

00:00:56.220 But we are the indispensable nation in the world.

00:01:00.380 We will have another package of aid for Ukraine soon to signal our continued support for the brave people of Ukraine.

00:01:07.720 And so that's our message.

00:01:09.200 If he thinks he cannot last us, that is Mr. Putin, we believe he's wrong.

00:01:13.300 What was the secret side deal on Ukraine?

00:01:15.300 The Speaker of the House was actually cutting a side deal to bring Ukraine legislation to this floor with President Biden and House Democrats.

00:01:26.220 Let's talk about somebody who actually is the king in a way, the governor of California, Gavin Newsom.

00:01:30.800 He did make good on his promise to appoint a black woman to the United States Senate.

00:01:37.100 At the border, more than 260,000 illegal crossings in September alone.

00:01:41.540 That's the most ever in a single month.

00:01:43.360 More than 2.2 million have crossed this fiscal year already.

00:01:46.680 Philadelphia District Attorney's Office says a local journalist and activist was shot and killed inside his home in Grace Ferry overnight.

00:01:54.260 Investigators say 39-year-old Josh Kruger was shot a number of times through his chest and abdomen.

00:02:00.520 He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

00:02:02.040 Legal troubles facing Hunter Biden are back in the spotlight.

00:02:05.100 The president's son appearing in a Delaware courtroom this morning facing renewed felony gun charges, and they carry possible prison time.

00:02:12.400 Juries get it wrong a lot.

00:02:14.220 I have a tool that I can deal with that.

00:02:16.500 It's called judgment notwithstanding the verdict.

00:02:18.960 I can say there is no possible way that a reasonable jury would have reached that conclusion.

00:02:24.660 I'm an impartial referee, but it's hard to factor out my own emotions.

00:02:32.820 The judge essentially conceded that the statute of convictions that we want at the Court of Appeals is in effect.

00:02:42.460 Therefore, about 80 percent of the case is over.

00:02:45.820 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board.

00:02:47.060 Today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by Jack Posobiec, Blackout Coffee and all of our other sponsors.

00:02:52.680 Today is October 3rd, 2023, Anno Domini.

00:02:57.220 Historic vote about to take place here in moments.

00:03:02.740 A motion to vacate the speaker.

00:03:05.600 Something that hasn't been done in 113 years is expected to be taken today and, we're hearing, is expected to pass.

00:03:15.840 We're told now that Matt Gaetz and the Republicans with him are going to be voting along with the Democrats as a bloc.

00:03:27.100 They're going to be coming in.

00:03:28.140 The motion to vacate likely will pass.

00:03:30.640 The question then becomes, what happens once that seat is vacant?

00:03:35.380 Because the House work grinds to a halt.

00:03:38.440 We go back to January.

00:03:39.820 Stay tuned.

00:03:40.160 Ladies and gentlemen, one of the best ways that you can support us here at Human Events and the work that we do is subscribing to us on our Rumble channel.

00:03:52.640 Make sure you're subscribed.

00:03:53.840 You hit the notifications so you'll never miss a clip.

00:03:56.760 You'll never miss a new live episode.

00:03:59.320 And we're putting them out every single day of the week.

00:04:01.980 When I grew up in the hood, I rolled with bloods and them boys had a saying. 1.00

00:04:07.340 You can't be listening to all that slappy, whack, trim out his outlet, it's a bam ship, nippy, bam, bam, like Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:04:16.700 All right, Jack Posobiec here, live, Washington, D.C.

00:04:19.880 Now, I want to explain everybody how this all works, how this all goes down.

00:04:24.500 So first, you'll have a motion on whether or not it's a table.

00:04:27.560 That motion will likely fail.

00:04:31.360 Democrats and then, for lack of a better term, we'll call it the Gates block, are going to go in together on this.

00:04:37.860 Then you'll have the motion to vacate.

00:04:39.520 That will likely pass.

00:04:41.760 Then what happens is that this is going to go to, you remember the 15 rounds back in January?

00:04:48.160 That's how this is going to play out.

00:04:50.280 And that's exactly when we'll find out who's on what side.

00:04:55.480 Because the House can't operate without a Speaker.

00:05:00.200 Now, understand.

00:05:02.440 Understand, this hasn't been done in 113 years.

00:05:06.240 Sede vacante, right?

00:05:07.420 The seat is vacant.

00:05:09.200 The seat will be vacant.

00:05:12.320 And then the question is this.

00:05:14.700 Who becomes the next Speaker?

00:05:17.980 Now, it's entirely possible that Kevin McCarthy comes back in and becomes Speaker of the House again.

00:05:23.200 It's entirely possible because the question is, who has the votes to become Speaker?

00:05:28.560 Tom Emmer is a name that I've heard from multiple sources that might step up and then attempt to run against McCarthy.

00:05:35.780 The other question is, what if any of the presidential campaigns try to get in?

00:05:40.880 Does DeSantis try to get in and make this a proxy war against Trump and try to frame it as one?

00:05:45.900 Trump was asked about this yesterday.

00:05:47.680 He didn't really come down one way or the other on it.

00:05:49.780 So there's a lot at play here.

00:05:51.400 There's a lot at stake with monitoring this as it goes down because this is a historic day.

00:05:57.080 I want to bring in, though, we have an excellent guest out of Philadelphia today.

00:06:01.820 His name is Sergeant Mark Fasetti.

00:06:03.760 Mark, tell us about this story of this left-wing activist journalist who was somebody who, from my view, looking at his tweets, was no fan of police officers.

00:06:16.460 We later find that he shot to death in his home seven times.

00:06:22.800 To me, seven times doesn't sound like a smash-and-grab, home invasion type of thing.

00:06:26.800 That sounds like it's something personal.

00:06:28.680 What are you hearing, and how did we get to this point?

00:06:32.540 Thanks for having me, Jack.

00:06:33.720 So I knew Josh from Twitter.

00:06:37.460 We would have back and forth.

00:06:38.720 Like you said, he was definitely no fan of the police.

00:06:41.420 And he had that rhetoric for a long time on Twitter.

00:06:46.160 However, recently, he did reach out and say, hey, listen, I think things are getting way out of hand.

00:06:51.380 He did have an incident at his home maybe a month or two ago where it was vandalized.

00:06:57.120 The police came out, and he had to go.

00:06:59.600 He went on Twitter and said they were very nice.

00:07:01.620 They were very professional.

00:07:02.500 And maybe that interaction helped him look at things a little differently.

00:07:08.080 My sources are telling me that this is definitely going to be somebody he knew and possibly something more of a domestic issue with a partner or something.

00:07:22.200 They're kind of being vague, but I think I seen your post last night where they found some stuff in the house, and it seemed that he had a trouble pass.

00:07:33.340 And drugs.

00:07:33.980 Specifically, they found, like I said, methamphetamine.

00:07:36.140 It was out of the Inquirer.

00:07:37.020 They found methamphetamine, and then also basically, I believe the word was concerning text messages with a former partner.

00:07:45.200 It didn't say incriminating, but it said concerning text messages.

00:07:48.620 And this seems like a guy, he's involved in numerous programs with people that were in and out of the prison system, people who are getting clean, people who are struggling with addiction, former lovers, drugs, a lot of this.

00:08:02.000 You tie all that to a city like Philadelphia that's been in such absolute chaos.

00:08:07.740 This is how you lead to problems like this.

00:08:10.980 And the problem, of course, is that these people, the reason there is that revolving door, Mark, is because the D.A. won't lock these people up.

00:08:20.340 You're absolutely right.

00:08:21.980 He was and he's a person that worked for the administration, Mayor Kenny.

00:08:27.200 Yes.

00:08:27.860 But he was like you said, he he was a reformed addict himself, a rags to riches type person.

00:08:35.100 He was homeless, made it all the way back and wanted to be an activist for what he believed in.

00:08:40.900 And like I said, me and him didn't agree on, I don't think, anything really.

00:08:45.020 But our back and forth were professional.

00:08:47.240 And this is this is an incident where he could possibly be the victim of what so many other people are being victims of, of a crime in this city that is just relentless because Larry Krasner does not want to lock up criminals.

00:09:06.320 You saw everybody's seen the riots just the other day, the looting, rather.

00:09:12.460 And Krasner's already out on the media tour telling people he's going to take it by a case by case basis.

00:09:19.200 Every person, individual justice.

00:09:21.980 What he's basically telling everybody is don't expect any serious punishments here.

00:09:26.760 He's going to knock most of these down to what are called summary offenses, which is basically a criminal equivalent to a speeding ticket.

00:09:34.040 So this is what's going to happen.

00:09:35.420 And more people are going to see this.

00:09:37.520 They're going to say, you know what, we can get away with this.

00:09:40.120 Just like the incident that you've probably seen on Twitter of the kid jumping on the female's car down in Center City, smashing it in with her kids.

00:09:49.480 He's from New Jersey.

00:09:50.560 Why did he come here and do it?

00:09:51.820 Because you can get away with it here.

00:09:53.400 You can't get away with that in his neighborhood.

00:09:55.020 No, and this is a situation where you've got a guy who, like I said, you know, he's he's dealing with them stories about Facebook.

00:10:06.340 And a lot of the time he's posting it himself, that he's he's dealing with these people that are criminals.

00:10:11.840 And he's saying, I want to help them.

00:10:13.580 But then they show up at his house all times of night trying to get in, trying to get his stuff.

00:10:18.620 People have keys.

00:10:19.620 People don't have keys.

00:10:20.840 And then then you've got people who are looking for those people, right, showing up at his house, convinced that he's harboring them, convinced that he's got them in his home.

00:10:30.880 And so I saw a lot of people out there saying, oh, no, no, this was probably some, you know, Donald Trump supporter went to his.

00:10:38.000 I just don't seem to think like that's the case.

00:10:40.620 I don't think there's any evidence of that.

00:10:42.020 And what we saw, I believe it was either six ABC or or the Inquirer had that detectives were they had sourcing for detectives that seemed to think that this was a domestic situation that spilled over.

00:10:55.440 So one of these domestic situations.

00:10:56.960 But, Mark, look, you know, I tell people this and I saw the temple this morning is putting out statements.

00:11:02.220 I was there 20 years ago.

00:11:03.300 It wasn't like it is now.

00:11:04.760 Kids getting killed.

00:11:06.020 Students getting carjacked and mugged.

00:11:08.180 Strays getting found in dorms.

00:11:09.860 What is going on with this city?

00:11:12.800 The kids and the young adults are literally playing Grand Theft Auto in real life.

00:11:18.920 You know, as a as a kid growing up, I grew up in the Frankfurt section of Philadelphia.

00:11:22.140 It's a tough neighborhood. 0.93

00:11:24.000 We would do stupid things, throw eggs at a bus or something, run away, that little adrenaline rush. 0.99

00:11:29.500 But that was it. 0.96

00:11:30.720 These kids are doing the same exact thing because they feel that it's fun to rip somebody out of their car, to go loot a store, to ransack a Wawa.

00:11:40.060 They are literally playing a video game in real life because they are not afraid to get locked up because even if they do, there is no chance they're going to go to jail in their mind.

00:11:50.920 And so far, since 2017, when Krasner took over, the stats and the crime have shown it.

00:11:56.880 It is just unbelievable.

00:11:59.860 Until Larry Krasner leaves, none of this is going to change.

00:12:03.040 We're going to have a new mayor, a new police commissioner January 1st.

00:12:05.920 And still, none of what you're watching here will ever change because he's still in office and he's always going to decide on the side of the criminal before the victim and the police.

00:12:17.080 It's insane.

00:12:18.100 Sergeant Mark Fassetti, go follow him.

00:12:20.420 It's Mark Fassetti on Twitter, formerly known as Twitter, right?

00:12:24.320 X, he's one of the best followers out there.

00:12:26.460 Mark, thanks for having you on.

00:12:28.040 Apologize.

00:12:28.580 We've got that breaking news going on today.

00:12:30.100 I have to have you on, do a longer hit, talk more about what's happening to this America's birthplace, folks, the birthplace of liberty, Philadelphia.

00:12:38.240 Looking at everything coming in, Washington, D.C.

00:12:50.340 The number that you want to look at right now, the key number here is the 10 nay votes on this motion to vacate.

00:12:59.120 Because the 10 nay votes is key. 0.99

00:13:02.300 This will explain to you the current size of the Gates block in the American and in the House on the GOP side.

00:13:11.300 So right now I'm seeing 10 that's coming up against the nay votes of 201. 0.93

00:13:17.400 Totals are coming in.

00:13:18.920 Democrats have not come all the way in yet.

00:13:21.100 I do expect this to fail this current motion.

00:13:25.060 But first, folks, I want to tell you about today's sponsor, Fume.

00:13:29.660 Fume is an innovative award-nominated essential oils infuser.

00:14:44.000 All right.

00:14:44.320 We're scanning the votes now.

00:14:45.960 Nine minutes left.

00:14:47.780 Let's get that vote count back up, guys.

00:14:49.280 This is key.

00:14:50.080 This is key what we're looking at.

00:14:51.320 All right.

00:14:52.040 Ten votes that you're seeing.

00:14:53.380 And remember the state of play.

00:14:54.760 Okay.

00:14:55.200 The state of play is this.

00:14:58.020 Ten votes to not table the motion will be ten votes to carry the motion once this current motion fails.

00:15:08.920 So the tabling, that means you're canceling.

00:15:10.700 That means you're shutting it down.

00:15:12.080 Then the real question is once the motion to vacate happens, if that passes, boom, done.

00:15:18.440 There's no speaker.

00:15:19.560 It's as quick as that, like a lightning flash.

00:15:22.680 However, here's the trick.

00:15:24.640 The trick is once there's no speaker, the house can't operate.

00:15:30.240 Now, most likely what's going to happen at that point is an interim speaker will be appointed, that it's essentially like the clerk of the house, but their only role will be the new election of a speaker.

00:15:41.700 And you're going to likely see that happen momentarily.

00:15:45.040 So the question is, who's going to stand?

00:15:48.620 Tom Emmer.

00:15:49.640 That's a name that we've heard, the current House majority whip for the House GOP.

00:15:54.080 Now, remember, he ran against Jim Banks for that position.

00:15:56.700 Banks now looking at a Senate seat over in Indiana.

00:15:59.400 Banks is a fantastic conservative, mega conservative.

00:16:03.120 Whereas Emmer, on the other hand, huge anti-Trump guy.

00:16:06.460 Not exactly a guy that I would ever want to get behind.

00:16:10.080 McCarthy, of course, will likely also stand for speaker.

00:16:13.960 So we're continuing to watch this vote.

00:16:16.960 The totals have not come in yet.

00:16:18.880 But like we said before, it looks as though the Democrats are voting as.

00:16:22.440 Oh, wait, wait.

00:16:23.780 Oh, hold on.

00:16:24.260 It looked like we had one Democrat who was voting with the Republicans there for a second.

00:16:27.780 But but no, no, no.

00:16:29.380 It was one of those one of those hanging Chad situations.

00:16:33.600 But as this is going in, I want to want to we've got our next guest here.

00:16:38.460 And I believe we have a special clip.

00:16:40.820 Guys, do we have that clip from MSNBC last night?

00:16:44.700 Can we run that real quick?

00:16:46.280 Flat Earth, QAnon, whatever.

00:16:50.020 Well, now NBC News reports just within the last hour that it is that guy's far right website

00:16:56.060 that appears to have published the blueprint for right wing billionaire Elon Musk to buy

00:17:04.540 the social media platform formerly known as Twitter to take it private and then to basically kill

00:17:11.500 it off as a means of helping the far right and hurting the United States of America.

00:17:17.860 The article called it a, quote, declaration of war against the globalist American empire.

00:17:28.320 So that's how things are going on the right.

00:17:30.560 Darren Beattie of Revolver News.

00:17:34.440 Darren, is it true?

00:17:35.620 Are you actually running the entire Twitter platform?

00:17:39.300 Are you in charge of SpaceX?

00:17:41.120 Has Elon given you a spaceship?

00:17:42.980 Answer these questions immediately.

00:17:44.300 Well, I'm something of a co-conductor along with my pal Lex Fridman.

00:17:53.260 But, you know, the truth is this whole story as of late and, you know, I guess it's I welcome

00:18:02.020 it.

00:18:02.400 It's not necessarily bad for me, but it puzzles me.

00:18:06.160 I find it really bizarre because I don't understand what's new here.

00:18:10.560 The article in question, which, you know, I stand by and frankly, I think it's

00:18:15.360 one of the better articles of many high quality articles that we put out at revolver.news and

00:18:21.740 many of its predictions have proven quite prescient.

00:18:25.460 But this was out a very long time ago and it's been known for a very long time that Elon Musk has

00:18:32.220 read it and that, you know, there was a text message, someone texted it to him.

00:18:38.300 I'm sure many people texted it to him.

00:18:40.220 This article was not a secret.

00:18:41.600 I went on the Tucker Carlson program in front of millions and millions of a national audience

00:18:47.740 in order to explain the position of the article.

00:18:52.660 So for them to sort of re-up the issue as though they've found this, you know, buried treasure

00:18:58.740 of a of a roadmap or such, this has been out there for a very long time.

00:19:03.860 And so I just find it very strange that this so-called journalist, Ben Collins, would come

00:19:10.120 out of the woodwork and actually.

00:19:12.660 Sweaty Ben, we call him Sweaty Ben.

00:19:14.700 Right.

00:19:15.140 Sweaty Ben.

00:19:15.880 And the thing is, is he seemed like an androgynous type on the phone.

00:19:21.620 But when I saw him on video, it really drove home just how dubious it is.

00:19:26.720 There's sort of like a third gender, the MSNBC gender that encompasses Maddow, Hayes.

00:19:33.860 And now I think Collins might be, may belong to that taxonomy as well.

00:19:39.560 Very strange people, very dubious people.

00:19:43.080 But in the case of Ben Collins, he actually, you know, most people don't like to humiliate

00:19:47.440 themselves.

00:19:48.080 But Ben Collins comes out and he's pretending to be a journalist here, employed by NBC.

00:19:53.660 And he says the whole subject of this article was this text message that someone's texting

00:19:58.880 Elon about the article.

00:20:00.600 And he said, we spent seven months trying to find out who sent this text.

00:20:05.080 I'm sure many people texted the article, but they they spent seven months and they couldn't

00:20:09.900 find out who texted.

00:20:11.300 So it's it's in a way it's such a nothing burger of a story.

00:20:14.740 But the real story is how desperate they are to, I guess, you know, demonize Elon Musk,

00:20:22.140 because I do think he's been making some positive moves lately.

00:20:25.940 And, you know, I can selflessly from an objective standpoint say that Twitter is much better under

00:20:33.520 Elon Musk.

00:20:34.500 However, personally, I can say that I'm more I think I'm more shadow banned under Musk than

00:20:40.240 I was before Musk, which is unfortunate and kind of ironic.

00:20:43.920 But that's how it goes.

00:20:45.080 But I do think it's very fair to say overall things are much better under Musk.

00:20:51.580 And perhaps even more important, it's clear from Musk's own behavior and his pronouncements

00:20:57.020 going to the border, the accounts he's interacting with.

00:21:00.680 He's demonstrating a really accelerated awareness, shall we say, that understandably, the regime

00:21:08.340 finds deeply, deeply threatening.

00:21:11.020 And I'm very pleased by that.

00:21:14.360 Darren, just real quick, looks as though the motion to table Kevin McCarthy, his essentially

00:21:24.020 the vacation, the feels we're calling it a vacation, but to table has failed.

00:21:28.840 It is now 218 to 206, two minutes left.

00:21:33.720 And you do have I just want to give everyone the update on those numbers.

00:21:36.500 You do have this huge number of essentially the Democrats side.

00:21:39.980 Oh, 11 Republicans now.

00:21:41.540 Wow.

00:21:42.020 So it was 10 Republicans in sort of what I'm calling the Gates block that just jumped up

00:21:48.160 to 11.

00:21:48.780 So I want to see exactly where that was and how that shook out.

00:21:52.240 That's really the number to watch.

00:21:53.600 Who is voting?

00:21:54.440 No, Darren, with everything you've written in that article, by the way.

00:21:58.940 I remember going through it and we've had you on.

00:22:01.980 I'm pretty sure, by the way, and this is what's funny about Sweaty Ben, is that he acts as

00:22:05.960 though this is some big secret conspiracy.

00:22:08.600 It's an article you published publicly.

00:22:11.080 And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we mention it every single time I've had you

00:22:15.480 on this program.

00:22:16.700 Like every single time we've been there.

00:22:18.600 I make some reference to Elon being a reader of Revolver.

00:22:22.340 This is what we're talking about, Sweaty Ben.

00:22:24.880 We're not scared.

00:22:26.700 In fact, we're happy about this.

00:22:29.120 We're celebrating this.

00:22:30.700 This isn't something that we've been doing.

00:22:32.280 I've done a secret.

00:22:34.440 It's like Media Matters, right?

00:22:35.460 We've gone and conducted secret analysis of watching the shows that they do in public

00:22:41.180 and listening to what they've said.

00:22:44.100 We're going to come back in a minute here.

00:22:45.600 We've got the breaking news, all the drama that's going on in the house.

00:22:49.580 The motion to vacate will be coming up next.

00:22:53.060 Kevin McCarthy's speakership to be vacated the first time 113 years down.

00:22:58.380 I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:23:03.360 All right, folks, back here.

00:24:12.220 M-O-I-N-K box dot com slash POSO.

00:24:14.080 M-O-I-N-K box dot com slash POSO.

00:24:16.760 Folks, Kevin McCarthy's ability to remain speaker is now at risk.

00:24:21.640 The House has just taken the first step towards ousting him.

00:24:25.620 We're getting speeches on the House floor now.

00:24:28.100 You're seeing gates.

00:24:29.280 You're seeing the gates block.

00:24:31.020 Eleven.

00:24:32.320 Eleven.

00:24:33.920 Let's take a little bit of that real quick, guys.

00:24:35.780 Let's take a little bit of that, actually.

00:24:37.400 Bring it up.

00:24:37.720 I wanted him to be successful because the country needed him to be successful.

00:24:42.640 In the ensuing months, I helped him narrowly pass the Parents' Bill of Rights and the Limit 0.75

00:24:48.520 Save Grow Bill.

00:24:49.740 I think both of those by just one or two votes, helping persuade some of my most conservative

00:24:54.360 colleagues to come along despite some of the concerns they had with those bills.

00:24:58.960 And we remain united as a conference through the Limit Save Grow vote as we passed a bill

00:25:05.000 that was cutting spending to pre-COVID levels for non-defense discretionary spending or just

00:25:10.540 over $100 billion.

00:25:11.380 I've got the list of the 11 now.

00:25:13.600 All right.

00:25:13.800 Let's pull that down.

00:25:14.700 So you've got your pro-McCarthy side.

00:25:18.300 You've got your pro-Gate side that are coming in.

00:25:20.180 Eleven House GOP voted to – essentially voted for vacate on the first vote, right?

00:25:25.840 They voted to vacate.

00:25:27.440 It's about the tabling amendment, tabling motion.

00:25:29.860 This goes to the next motion.

00:25:31.220 So here's the list of the 11.

00:25:33.740 This is key.

00:25:35.300 Davidson, Crane, Buck, Sparks, Biggs, Rosendale, Gates, Good, Mace, Nancy Mace, Burchett, and

00:25:45.180 Ogles. 1.00

00:25:46.460 Darren, you've – and I'm not asking for anything, shall we say, proprietary, but you've

00:25:52.240 obviously – it's public knowledge that you're a former speechwriter for Congressman

00:25:57.380 Gates, so I'm not going to ask you which side you're on here.

00:25:59.860 But what do you think the overall plan is with this situation?

00:26:04.660 So you go to – let's walk people through it again.

00:26:08.460 The motion to vacate passes.

00:26:10.660 The speaker gets removed.

00:26:12.320 It takes us back to January.

00:26:13.920 We go back to those 15 rounds of voting, et cetera, et cetera.

00:26:16.620 What do you think is at play here?

00:26:19.520 And I guess the real question is, do any of the presidential campaigns, particularly like

00:26:25.180 those of Ron DeSantis that have just completely fallen off the radar, try to open this up as

00:26:29.780 a kind of proxy fight against Trump?

00:26:33.360 That's an interesting question.

00:26:37.000 You know, it's interesting to see how all of it plays out here.

00:26:42.480 I don't have special, really, insight into what's going on.

00:26:48.080 But I think if you could characterize it, it might be good to say this is about some semblance

00:26:54.300 of accountability.

00:26:55.540 This is about attempting to bring accountability to a system that has none of it. 0.99

00:27:01.880 And, of course, you know, everybody despises these scumbags in Congress generally, and this 0.96

00:27:08.260 is a profound inconvenience to them, which I, just as an outside observer, kind of like 0.97

00:27:14.140 the mere kind of disruptive aspect to it.

00:27:17.940 The fact that a lot of the right people are getting furious about it gives me pleasure to

00:27:23.800 see.

00:27:24.140 But I think the productive part of it is the accountability.

00:27:28.180 We're at a situation of maximum awareness, minimal accountability.

00:27:32.740 And the whole, you know, circumstance under which Kevin McCarthy became speaker in the first

00:27:37.880 place was tied to some, you know, kind of implicit and some explicit conditions.

00:27:43.840 And a lot of people feel like he's failed in following through on those conditions.

00:27:52.900 And so you just do nothing or do we, at the very least, give him a big headache and give

00:27:58.300 him to something to think about?

00:28:00.120 You know, there's not a whole lot of leverage that America First people have and people representing

00:28:05.500 the America First base really wields. 0.96

00:28:08.800 And so we have to use all the leverage we can.

00:28:11.560 And if this is one of the tools that we have, you know, why not?

00:28:18.200 So the other question that I'm thinking of, and, you know, we'll see whether or not it

00:28:23.040 whether or not works out.

00:28:24.280 We all know that we love being the the family first program here on Human Events Daily, of

00:28:29.360 course.

00:28:30.300 And the the question, of course, that that that may have been the neocon screaming in the

00:28:35.360 background, actually, as as America First is ascendant, that the real.

00:28:40.020 That was Ben Collins.

00:28:41.560 That was actually Ben Collins is banging, trying to get in.

00:28:44.400 Sweaty Ben is saying, please, Darren, I can't take a shower.

00:28:47.480 I've been down here in Florida.

00:28:48.980 There's no way the running water is so bad.

00:28:51.640 Trump was right about the water pressure.

00:28:53.400 Please, please just let me use your shower for five minutes.

00:28:56.720 And of course, Darren is saying, no, Ben, no, the sweat will continue.

00:29:00.860 Ben, no Snapchat or TikTok filters can save you.

00:29:04.920 Sweaty Ben never can never will.

00:29:07.220 Now, the question for me is, if if any of you know, I really could see and we're going

00:29:12.400 to be watching this throughout the day.

00:29:13.620 Of course, we're running out of time in the show here.

00:29:15.400 But the question that what I'm calling to look for is to see if any of the campaigns,

00:29:21.000 particularly those of Ron DeSantis that are just getting increasingly desperate, going on

00:29:25.560 far left wing shows like Bill Maher, trying to get some traction there to see if they try

00:29:30.480 to use this as a type of wedge or proxy fight against Trump.

00:29:34.300 Last minute, Darren Beattie, I don't see it.

00:29:38.020 I mean, everything they've attempted to do, they being the DeSantis campaign, they've failed.

00:29:43.000 They've bungled.

00:29:43.860 You know, I'm hearing things about DeSantis donors claiming that, you know, DeSantis is

00:29:49.240 going to be within, you know, 10 points, you know, in a month or something, maybe within

00:29:54.580 10 points of Vivek if he's lucky.

00:29:57.140 But I wouldn't worry about the DeSantis campaign at all.

00:30:02.000 It's a sinking ship that even to say it's sinking, it's already under the water for

00:30:06.580 the most part.

00:30:07.500 So if they want to glom on to this in a last, you know, gasp, desperate effort at relevance, 0.99

00:30:15.220 you know, they can go ahead and make themselves look even more foolish. 0.86

00:30:18.820 But I don't think whatever it would be would really have the intended effect. 0.97

00:30:24.120 I think it's exactly right.

00:30:26.260 Folks, understand something.

00:30:28.400 Darren Beattie is ascendant.

00:30:30.620 America First is ascendant.

00:30:32.800 Elon Musk.

00:30:34.140 Sorry, Sweaty Ben. 1.00

00:30:35.540 Sorry to all of you communist scum. 0.99

00:30:38.400 And I just have two words for you. 1.00

00:30:41.000 You're next.

00:30:42.560 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to make sure.
