00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.

00:00:39.680 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.

00:00:46.360 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.

00:00:49.280 Deliver us from evil.

00:00:50.960 Ladies and gentlemen, the Bible says that there is a time for peace and a time for war.

00:00:57.160 This is a time for war. 0.89

00:01:00.000 Attention, citizens of Gaza.

00:01:08.080 Listen carefully.

00:01:09.220 For your immediate safety, we urge all residents of northern Gaza and Gaza City to temporarily relocate south. 1.00

00:01:18.100 Let me repeat.

00:01:19.640 We urge all residents of northern Gaza and Gaza City to relocate south immediately. 1.00

00:01:25.880 It is a temporary measure.

00:01:28.560 Moving back to northern Gaza will be possible once the intense hostilities end.

00:01:34.620 Hamas puts your life in danger by placing weapons and forces within civilians' area in Gaza, including schools, masks, and hospitals.

00:01:44.560 The Associated Press reports foreign passport holders and some badly injured Palestinians are being allowed to leave Gaza for the first time since the conflict began, passing through the Rafah border gate into Egypt.

00:01:59.180 That does not appear to include Americans just yet.

00:02:01.980 This comes amid growing outrage over an Israeli airstrike that killed dozens of people in a crowded refugee camp.

00:02:08.780 The Israeli military claims the attack killed a large number of terrorists, including a Hamas leader.

00:02:21.000 We are the people of the light.

00:02:23.740 They are the people of darkness.

00:02:25.680 And light shall triumph over darkness.

00:02:27.860 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, live from Washington, D.C.

00:02:36.600 Today is the 1st of November, 2023, Anno Domini.

00:02:41.280 It is the Feast of All Saints, the Feast of All Hallows.

00:02:47.080 And there is a tradition on All Hallows' Day that in church, when we go, the reading is always from the Book of Revelations, or in Greek, the Book of the Apocalypse, the Revelation to John.

00:03:08.220 World War III is on the horizon.

00:03:12.340 Israeli forces have crossed into the Gaza Strip.

00:03:15.500 There are clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian fighters in the To'am area, Erez, Bayed Hanun, across the northern Gaza Strip, all the way down to Jura al-Dyke.

00:03:28.620 The clashes are continuing.

00:03:30.440 The tanks are rolling.

00:03:32.500 Missiles are being fired from Iranian-backed groups all the way down in Yemen.

00:03:38.580 These are the Houthis up through the Arabian Peninsula and into Israel. 0.99

00:03:43.840 Much of this sounds like it speaks in the language of perhaps prophecy.

00:03:51.680 And so on today, the day that we turn to the Book of the Apocalypse, when we are faced with what appears to be potentially a new apocalypse,

00:04:00.320 we turn to Dr. Taylor Marshall, who wrote a book about that very subject.

00:04:05.840 Dr. Taylor Marshall joins us again here at Human Events.

00:04:08.800 Dr. Taylor Marshall, why is it that we read from the Book of the Apocalypse on this day?

00:04:13.200 Just two minutes until the break.

00:04:14.340 Well, as you said, in the Catholic tradition, today is the Feast of All Saints.

00:04:19.540 This is the day we recognize that there are people who have served Jesus Christ, they have been faithful, and some of them are unknown to us.

00:04:28.020 Not every saint is canonized and has its own feast day on the calendar.

00:04:32.200 And today we recognize everyone who has persevered and followed Jesus Christ and entered into that heavenly glory.

00:04:40.340 And so it's appropriate on the Feast of All Saints to open up the apocalypse,

00:04:45.120 because the Book of Revelation reveals history from the perspective not of earth, but the perspective of heaven.

00:04:52.280 And how God sees the unrolling of the seals and of history throughout time, all the way until Jesus comes again.

00:05:02.000 And so the perspective of all saints in heaven is apocalyptic.

00:05:06.820 And John, the apostle, was allowed to have a vision of that on the island of Patmos.

00:05:11.980 And so the Church honors that by reading from the Apocalypse of St. John, so that we get a perspective, not just down here,

00:05:20.080 but we get the perspective, the eternal perspective, from God's point of view and all the saints.

00:05:27.040 And this is so key for everyone to understand.

00:05:30.280 And I know last year, when we played the episode again yesterday, you pointed out that at the harvest time, at the harvest season,

00:05:37.920 this is why we turn to the harvest of souls, which will take place at the apocalypse.

00:05:46.560 This is very clear. This is unquestionable.

00:05:49.080 This is exactly what goes on at the time of the second coming, the time of the apocalypse.

00:05:54.020 But I have a question, and we're going to get into it, piece it out throughout today's episode,

00:05:58.140 because it seems to me like there are people who actually feel that their political and leadership roles in this crisis are to force the meeting.

00:06:12.640 They want the apocalypse to occur.

00:06:15.400 They want the end times to begin.

00:06:17.180 And they believe that war is the answer to achieve it.

00:06:20.640 We're going to unpack all of this here today.

00:06:22.340 Ladies and gentlemen, one of the best ways that you can support us here at Human Events and the work that we do is subscribing to us on our Rumble channel.

00:06:34.920 Make sure you're subscribed.

00:06:44.260 I rolled with bloods, and them boys had a saying.

00:06:48.080 You can't be listening to all that slappy, whack, trimatazolitzabam ship, nippy-bam-bam, like Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:06:58.640 All right, we're back, folks.

00:07:00.280 With the world quickly descending into chaos, the possibility of facing a new Armageddon, the apocalypse.

00:07:08.300 It's possible the next medical Armageddon is just around the corner as well.

00:07:12.520 And whether it's another pandemic or maybe even something just closer to home, preparedness is no longer an option.

00:07:19.020 It's a necessity.

00:07:20.120 That's where today's sponsor, The Wellness Company, comes in.

00:08:10.940 Dr. Taylor Marshall, so let's go through this because I've been seeing online and I've been hearing people talk about this.

00:08:21.180 Israel's at war.

00:08:22.640 Israel's been at war since the modern refounding of the new state of Israel following World War II.

00:08:29.740 Of course, we've seen this, but there's a lot of people that I've noticed, sometimes on the right,

00:08:35.920 sometimes you see them non-political, but people more in just sort of the theological world,

00:08:43.700 talking about how the war in Israel actually fulfills a prophecy of the end times.

00:08:52.560 And, you know, certainly we can read the book of Revelations, and it talks about the end times,

00:08:57.840 and it talks about great conflict, but this is specific.

00:09:01.640 So walk me through, how is it that the current state of Israel is tied to a prophecy from end times,

00:09:08.680 and then what does the book of Revelations actually tell us about the apocalypse?

00:09:13.140 What can we learn?

00:09:13.740 Well, first off, the apocalypse does present the Battle of Armageddon.

00:09:19.340 It is a cosmic war between those who love and serve Jesus Christ and the forces of evil,

00:09:26.920 Gog, Magog, all of these amazing allegories and analogies that are drawn from the Old Testament,

00:09:34.560 like Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, etc.

00:09:36.900 But there's a bit of a confusion in our time, and it goes back to the 1800s.

00:09:42.920 It's called dispensationalism, and it's a theology that was really invented in the 1830s in southwest England

00:09:51.920 by a preacher named John Nelson Darby.

00:09:55.220 He died in 1882.

00:09:57.240 And while most Christians divide history basically into, like, Old Testament and New Testament,

00:10:03.620 the dispensationalists slice up history a lot more into what they call dispensations.

00:10:10.420 That's why it's called dispensationalism.

00:10:12.420 And Darby and other dispensations that come after him—again, this was a minority view in the 1800s—

00:10:18.400 thought that God's primary plan was not the salvation of all humans,

00:10:23.720 but primarily the salvation of Jews, Israels, Israelites.

00:10:28.460 And when Jesus was crucified and most Jews did not accept Jesus as the Messiah,

00:10:37.260 God paused his plan A and he went into plan B called the church,

00:10:42.580 where he brought in non-Jews, Gentiles, into the church. 0.77

00:10:46.180 And then eventually one day God would end that parenthesis

00:10:49.840 and he would switch back on plan A and go back to the Jews.

00:10:53.740 All right, now this is a minority position.

00:10:57.160 It was almost like a Protestant cult. 0.61

00:10:58.880 But in the 1940s, particularly 1948, when there was a secular state of Israel,

00:11:05.380 the dispensationalists started jumping up and down to it.

00:11:07.500 See, this is proving our theology.

00:11:10.360 We are moving into God changing from the church, the Christian church, Gentiles, 1.00

00:11:15.940 and moving into this eschatological dispensation of Israel.

00:11:22.080 And while many people out in the pews, if you said,

00:11:25.780 are you a dispensationalist, they wouldn't even know what you're talking about.

00:11:28.340 They have since the 1940s, 50s, 60s, it was really popular in the 80s.

00:11:32.660 They have imbibed this theology and it's assumed by many people,

00:11:38.640 including in the political sphere, that this is exactly what the Bible teaches.

00:11:44.040 When in fact, when you go to Catholics or Eastern Orthodox or Lutherans, Calvinists, Anglicans,

00:11:49.760 they hold to a more covenantal, linear understanding of church history and the end times.

00:11:55.860 And so that's part of the confusion.

00:11:57.680 And those who belong to that dispensational understanding of the Bible,

00:12:01.900 they very much see the state of Israel as the fulfillment of the book of the apocalypse.

00:12:08.320 And some of them, as you stated, really are pressing on the nuclear button.

00:12:14.760 They want war because they believe that a war focused on Israel will turn the tide,

00:12:22.020 begin the dispensation of the Jews, and enter in Armageddon, Gog, Magog, etc. 1.00

00:12:28.780 So that's kind of a historical background on why a lot of people, particularly in Protestant churches,

00:12:34.960 I would say Baptists, Pentecostals, megachurch, Bible church people,

00:12:40.140 tend to hold the dispensational understanding of the end times.

00:12:45.280 And this has led them to, they send massive amount of money to Israel,

00:12:50.120 and they're very much in favor of supporting a secular political state of Israel.

00:12:57.700 It's just part of their theology.

00:13:00.740 And not all Christians, I would say the majority of Christians on earth,

00:13:04.300 over 90 percent, disagree with that perspective.

00:13:06.820 But in America in particular, dispensationalism is kind of, it's just the bread and butter.

00:13:13.020 Like the Southern Baptists, the evangelicals have very much adopted this worldview since the 1940s.

00:13:21.460 It's important to understand where it came from in the 1800s with Darby

00:13:24.880 and how it's progressed since the Second World War.

00:13:28.640 And I think that can give us maybe a little bit more less sensational,

00:13:32.160 a more sober take on the apocalypse, and maybe not rushing into war as thinking that this is definitely the will of God.

00:13:43.160 So this idea that, so what, can you give us, and if you don't have it, I understand,

00:13:49.000 but can you give us the actual portion of the book of Revelation that they're referring to?

00:13:55.260 So what are the lines that they're teasing out that say the state of Israel going to war with its neighbors equals Armageddon,

00:14:03.200 equals the apocalypse?

00:14:04.240 Because, you know, and we talked about this last year, certainly in Megiddo, the site of Megiddo,

00:14:09.740 we visited it, and me and my family, not me and you, maybe sometime, but maybe not right now, though.

00:14:16.100 Probably, maybe once the current hostilities die down.

00:14:19.660 And I do certainly hope and pray that they will, but how do they go from this idea that there will be a global conflict

00:14:27.120 and it will usher in the return of Jesus to actually trying to basically, I don't know,

00:14:32.560 it feels like, you know, trip the switch in a sense.

00:14:37.460 Well, the book of Revelation, chapter 18, 19, 20, you see the global cosmic Armageddon.

00:14:47.880 And it's written there very clearly.

00:14:49.940 It is going to happen, and it will end with the destruction of the Antichrist and the false prophet. 0.98

00:14:57.400 They'll be cast into the lake of fire.

00:14:59.460 All of that is detailed in the book of Revelation,

00:15:02.140 and I give a full commentary on that and explanations from the Bible and Church Fathers, Old Testament,

00:15:07.460 my book, Antichrist and Apocalypse.

00:15:09.240 So they're very much pulling on that, and it's absolutely true, and it's absolutely orthodox.

00:15:14.640 It's just that we have to realize that, really, since the advent of Islam,

00:15:20.160 there have been wars and rumors of wars in what we now call Israel or Palestine or Holy Land,

00:15:27.720 however you want to call it.

00:15:29.200 So it may be jumping the gun to assume that our current conflict is most definitely Armageddon,

00:15:39.100 Gog Magog, the final battle between good and evil. 0.63

00:15:43.500 It very well could be.

00:15:44.920 I mean, I'm not saying that.

00:15:46.380 It's definitely not.

00:15:48.040 But we have to be careful to take what most would consider to be a minority theology,

00:15:54.040 and by that I mean not held by many, to be the interpretive lens,

00:15:58.760 to be the goggles by which we interpret Scripture in one hand and a newspaper in the other.

00:16:05.220 It might not be responsible.

00:16:06.800 And so I think we should just be sober in looking at that,

00:16:10.580 and it doesn't necessarily mean that just because the Holy Land is in war that we must,

00:16:17.280 all Christians on earth, must support that.

00:16:21.900 Remember, the Apocalypse, the book of Revelation,

00:16:25.340 chiefly is focusing on whether or not the people on earth are acknowledging and serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

00:16:34.940 That's the whole point of the Apocalypse from chapter one all the way to the end with the new Jerusalem, right? 0.99

00:16:40.860 Not the old Jerusalem, the new Jerusalem. 0.99

00:16:44.320 And so it's really about conversion.

00:16:46.320 It's about fidelity.

00:16:47.280 It's about perseverance.

00:16:48.140 It's about martyrdom.

00:16:50.220 And it's the fidelity to Jesus Christ and his plan for history.

00:16:55.120 And just because some of the names are similar, like the name Jerusalem or Israel,

00:16:59.700 it doesn't mean necessarily that the people who live there,

00:17:04.800 that is what the Bible is talking about,

00:17:06.920 or those are definitely the ones that we should be rooting for.

00:17:10.220 Well, and I was just going to say, and right before we go to break here,

00:17:16.820 that there certainly have been many wars and many battles that have featured Jerusalem

00:17:22.480 since John wrote this book on the island of Patmos in about 95 AD, thereabouts.

00:17:31.200 And so we've seen the land conquered numerous times.

00:17:36.780 We've seen, obviously, the temple was destroyed during his lifetime.

00:17:40.820 The second temple was destroyed during John's lifetime.

00:17:43.000 So that was something that he saw or at least understood to see.

00:17:46.180 We don't know if he's there for sure.

00:17:47.620 But the idea that every single war that's taken place in the Holy Land since then,

00:17:52.720 of course, we saw wars in the 1960s, throughout the 1960s, 1973, 2006,

00:17:58.480 that many, many times there have been these wars.

00:18:00.580 And so the idea that we should push the area into war

00:18:07.000 because it will trigger these events to take place.

00:18:09.880 First of all, God doesn't work like that.

00:18:13.860 You shall not, God, your God shall not be put to the test.

00:18:18.620 It is written, Christ says this, to the devil in the desert.

00:18:22.020 Very specifically, do not test God.

00:18:26.140 Then follows that up with, get behind me, Satan.

00:18:29.260 We're talking with Dr. Taylor Marshall about a fun subject here today, the end of the world.

00:18:34.680 Stay tuned.

00:18:35.180 Human Events Daily will continue.

00:18:36.760 Today, you know, they talk about influencers.

00:18:42.300 These are influencers.

00:18:44.180 And they're friends of mine.

00:18:46.560 Jack Prasovic.

00:18:48.060 Where's Jack?

00:18:49.020 Jack.

00:18:50.000 He's done a great job.

00:18:51.460 All right, Jack Prasovic back, Human Events Daily.

00:18:57.000 Folks, this episode is high energy, and you can be high energy, too.

00:19:07.020 Look, if you're out late trick-or-treating with the kids, if you're up early, if you're going to church this morning,

00:19:18.260 That was our last 48 hours.

00:19:20.120 And you know what?

00:19:20.540 It's great.

00:19:20.960 I wouldn't trade it for anything.

00:19:56.640 I want to get back now to Dr. Taylor Marshall because, and of course I just lost it,

00:20:02.580 but so Dr. Marshall, you are going through the theology of dispensationalism.

00:20:11.360 And we got a comment in over the break, and I'd love to read this for you because we got someone,

00:20:16.760 I'm not going to put him on blast or say his name, but we got someone who's very upset with you.

00:20:20.860 He says, dispensational theology is a fancy name to say the literal translation of the Bible,

00:20:28.580 whereas covenant theology is a conspiracy theory.

00:20:33.100 It's theoretical, fabricated, opinion-based, and a deceptive translation of the Bible.

00:20:41.180 He says you're being deceptive and spreading conspiracy theories about a covenant between Jesus and the church,

00:20:48.480 whereas dispensationalism is the literal translation.

00:20:52.360 What is he talking about, and how would you respond to that?

00:20:56.500 Well, I'd respond right out the gate to this gentleman.

00:21:00.540 Look, every single Christian from AD 33 until the mid-1800s 100% disagreed with you.

00:21:09.100 This is not what was taught in historic Christianity.

00:21:12.360 All these great theologians, saints, martyrs, the way they read Scripture is not the way that you were understanding Scripture.

00:21:21.460 And it all comes from this guy, Darby, who thought up this new idea of the dispensations.

00:21:28.380 This is just not historical Christianity.

00:21:33.420 Instead, as the commenter said, covenantal theology is the historical understanding of how God relates in the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the End Times.

00:21:44.640 And this idea is when God created Adam and Eve, his intention wasn't just to save a segment of humanity that descended from Abraham.

00:21:53.360 In a way, by him choosing Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, what he did is he created one nation, one people, to prepare them to be, if you want to kind of use a military analogy, a landing pad, a safe place for the Son of God, Jesus Christ, to enter into the world.

00:22:12.940 That's why our Lord Jesus Christ came into the world through Israel, through the Jews. 0.90

00:22:18.400 But the intention, this rescue mission from heaven, was always to incorporate and include and save every single child of Adam and Eve, the entire human race, right?

00:22:30.840 As we say, Jack, as Catholics, it's catholikos, universal, the whole world.

00:22:37.300 So God has established his covenant with Adam and Eve in Genesis.

00:22:40.460 And Jacob, doesn't St. Paul say this quite explicitly, where it says the Jews, then the Gentiles?

00:22:47.860 Correct.

00:22:48.860 Correct.

00:22:49.380 And the dispensationalists would say, well, it's the Jews and the Gentiles, and then back to the Jews, which Paul doesn't say.

00:22:55.480 So there is this expansion that's happening from Adam and Eve, and there are a number of covenants, and they culminate.

00:23:02.980 The climax of the covenant is Jesus Christ in the new covenant, the New Testament.

00:23:07.580 When he institutes the Eucharist, he says, this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, right?

00:23:15.040 So he establishes the new and final covenant.

00:23:18.520 Every single mass, we say it.

00:23:20.520 I was just there.

00:23:21.820 We just said it.

00:23:22.640 It's the final fulfillment, the final covenant.

00:23:25.540 And it is true. 0.71

00:23:26.780 St. Paul says in Romans chapter 9 through 11, but in particular chapter 11, that in the end, God will bring the Jews back through belief in Jesus Christ.

00:23:37.300 Catholics believe that, Orthodox believe that, every Christian believes that.

00:23:41.220 But the mechanisms and the structures of dispensationalism are not in the Scripture.

00:23:46.980 You cannot find rapture.

00:23:48.380 You cannot find parenthesis.

00:23:49.820 You cannot find plan A, plan B, or all these dispensations that they're slicing and dicing.

00:23:55.240 It's really an artificial construct that has been placed onto Scripture.

00:24:00.180 We talk about exegesis that's pulling out of Scripture.

00:24:03.420 Dispensationalism is eisegesis.

00:24:04.880 It's putting ideas into Scripture that simply aren't there.

00:24:10.060 And my concern as a Christian is dispensationalists, if they follow their theology and their principles, they could get us into a really horrific war. 0.97

00:24:19.640 And if it's not this one, it could be a future one by pushing and promoting really radical forms of violence in order to fulfill a theology that no Christian on earth believed in until the mid-1800s.

00:24:36.960 To me, that's scary.

00:24:38.140 I think we need to be sober.

00:24:39.680 I think we need to read Scripture in continuity with all of our Christian brothers and sisters throughout time, as we might say, Jack, with all the saints, which is today's feast day.

00:24:49.060 Let's read the Scripture of all the saints, and not with some whacked-out idea that appeared in southwest England in the mid-1800s.

00:24:58.160 That's just not responsible.

00:25:00.720 And to be true to the sacred Scriptures is to read them soberly and in line with those who came before us.

00:25:07.860 Well, and just look at the historical record.

00:25:10.760 Let's go back for a minute here because, you know, certainly there have been wars that Christians have supported in the Middle East. 0.74

00:25:17.680 But predominantly those have been for the Holy Land and the protection of the holy sites within the land of Israel.

00:25:25.980 Even before, or long, long before, almost 900 years before the founding of the modern state of Israel were the Crusades.

00:25:34.780 So even at the height of Christendom, okay, even 1000 AD, the height of Christian Europe, when Christianity and the monarchs of Europe were synonymous.

00:25:45.060 They had armies at their beck and call.

00:25:48.780 You do not have anyone throughout this entire period, several hundred years of Christendom, where they ever try to go to the Middle East to launch a war against all of the neighboring countries in order to bring about the end times.

00:26:03.860 It's just never something that occurred.

00:26:05.500 But what did occur to them was the defense of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the defense of pilgrims that were going to visit the Holy Land, some of these basic ideas that were really brought about all the way back to the time of St. Helena and Emperor Constantine.

00:26:23.500 Constantine, you know, she being one of the first, you know, basically royal pilgrims, honestly, the first royal pilgrim from Rome to visit the Holy Land, which really laid out so much of the site, so many of the sites.

00:26:38.000 You never saw this theology that we're talking about brought out.

00:26:42.220 And yet there are people and this is why it's key.

00:26:45.420 And that's why we're doing the show today.

00:26:47.100 And to people out there that are upset with us.

00:26:49.800 Well, I'm just going to come out and say it.

00:26:51.680 I'm not pro World War Three.

00:26:53.340 I'm sorry, guys.

00:26:54.380 I know that's an edgy statement for me to make.

00:26:56.520 I am not pro World War Three.

00:26:58.620 And I personally don't think that that is a way that I want to send or a road that I want to send my children down.

00:27:06.860 Because you know what?

00:27:07.740 The average age of a soldier in Ukraine right now is 43.

00:27:12.520 It's 43.

00:27:15.020 In the United States, it's about 23.

00:27:18.500 You know why it's 43?

00:27:19.720 Because they've got guys in their 50s and their 60s right now up there holding rifles along with the teenagers.

00:27:26.860 That's why the average is 43.

00:27:29.260 You get how that works?

00:27:30.080 We're not talking the medium.

00:27:30.880 We're talking the average here.

00:27:32.820 That's what these types of wars look like.

00:27:34.920 And that's without the use of nuclear weapons.

00:27:37.480 Which, by the way, do people really think that Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons, doesn't have a couple of hot ones sitting on the shelf that they're not telling us about?

00:27:45.320 We know that Israel has nukes.

00:27:47.020 We know that Saudi Arabia has the use of Pakistan's nukes. 0.74

00:27:50.440 So just walk me through it, folks.

00:27:52.000 Walk me through how this goes if this thing escalates further.

00:27:56.020 Because I'll tell you how it goes.

00:27:57.580 It goes with all of us dead.

00:27:59.980 And that's not a place where I want to get to, and I'm not interested.

00:28:04.040 But with Dr. Marshall, that is very intriguing to me, too, because why would it be then that these theologians weren't at the height of Christendom calling for this holy war to bring about and usher in the end of time and Christ's return?

00:28:20.800 Yeah, and we have to ask ourselves, you know, for the Christians watching, and maybe you're watching, you are a dispensationalist.

00:28:27.680 You think this is the right way to read the Bible.

00:28:29.760 You have to ask yourself, read the four Gospels.

00:28:31.880 Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.

00:28:33.100 Was there ever a moment where the rabbis, the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees said to Jesus, yeah, but we're children of Abraham.

00:28:43.100 We're children of Abraham.

00:28:44.620 Constantly, that's what they say to Jesus.

00:28:47.040 That is their defense.

00:28:48.460 And how does Jesus counter that?

00:28:50.120 He asks of them faith in himself, that the people of God, that his family, that his church are those who are aligned with him.

00:29:01.380 And ultimately, part of the message of Jesus is your DNA, whatever it is, does not de facto guarantee you a place in heaven.

00:29:12.100 That would be kind of a really immature and kind of backward understanding of what it means to serve God, that I have a certain DNA, and therefore I have the golden ticket.

00:29:22.640 I mean, Jesus says that he can make sons of Abraham out of these rocks, right? 0.93

00:29:27.320 What he wants is he wants people to repent, to believe in him, and to love God and their neighbor with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength.

00:29:36.760 That is the core teaching of the Gospel.

00:29:39.060 And what's troubling for many of us is we look at dispensationalists, and they seem to be getting away from that core teaching of the Gospel.

00:29:46.760 And they're looking more and more to a political fulfillment of God's will.

00:29:52.560 And that is exactly what Jesus Christ rejected.

00:29:55.780 In fact, that's what most theologians say about Judas, that he betrayed Jesus because he didn't see this political mechanism occurring.

00:30:04.320 And now the dispensationalists are sort of trying to recreate a political mechanism to usher in the second coming of Christ, not the first coming.

00:30:12.020 And I just think that's really dangerous.

00:30:13.740 I don't see that in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, or in the apocalypse.

00:30:18.740 So I think this is where we sort of hit the pause button and say, are you guys really serious about this theology?

00:30:25.360 Is this really in accord with the core teachings of Jesus and Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John?

00:30:31.920 And honestly, I don't see it.

00:30:34.000 And no Christian up until the 1800s ever saw this as well. 0.55

00:30:37.980 By the way, just for the record, I'm looking at the comments again.

00:30:41.520 And finally, someone is speaking the truth.

00:30:44.020 Thank you, Taylor Marshall.

00:30:45.800 Thank you.

00:30:46.660 This information is correct.

00:30:48.120 Okay, we're also getting this information.

00:30:49.440 I love this.

00:30:50.080 I love this.

00:30:50.540 The comments are wild today, folks.

00:30:53.220 Keep sending them in.

00:30:54.180 Sending them all in.

00:30:54.840 I'm going to read all of them.

00:30:56.000 I love this.

00:30:56.820 We are going to get into it because I'm not interested in my children, my two beautiful little sons, going off and dying in the desert for your wars.

00:31:08.080 Buzzing in my ear about the boring people at your office.

00:31:11.300 I'm trying to listen to the new human events with Jack Posobiec.

00:31:14.940 All right, Jack Posobiec, we're back.

00:31:18.360 A very spicy, contentious episode of Human Events Daily, but that's okay because we are trying to save the world for the world and possibly from the world.

00:32:23.040 So when I say I'm against World War III, I want to be very clear about something because I'm getting some of these comments in here as well.

00:32:29.780 People saying, oh, so you don't think Israel has a right to defend us?

00:32:34.640 I am the guy, I guess I'll have to say it again because I said before, go turn Hamas into Hamas, okay? 0.96

00:32:41.300 Go turn Hamas into Hamas. 0.96

00:32:43.080 And by the way, if President Trump were in right now, you know he would have schwacked at least three Iranian generals right now because of the amount of drone attacks and rocket attacks that have gone on our bases.

00:32:53.660 I want a president in office who's going to be turning Iranian generals into Pico de Gallo as much as he needs to to turn the attacks on Americans off. 0.92

00:33:02.880 I also think that we need somebody who's going to bring about basic political peace agreements through all of this because I don't want World War III.

00:33:12.340 And yes, that includes the stick before the carrot in many times.

00:33:16.620 Remember, peace through savagery, occasional assassinations, constant threats, and then and only then peace treaties.

00:33:25.080 Dr. Taylor Marshall, we're talking about World War III.

00:33:28.520 We're getting into the apocalypse.

00:33:30.020 You wrote the book.

00:33:31.280 It's been a bestseller on Amazon.

00:33:33.100 People can go get it.

00:33:34.820 It's not just about the apocalypse, though, because there's another figure that looms large in this tale and in this prophecy.

00:33:43.160 That's the Antichrist.

00:33:45.280 Tell us, we can't know exactly who the Antichrist is, but what do we know about the Antichrist?

00:33:51.560 I think one of the most sobering biblical revelations about who the Antichrist is, is he will be the one who establishes peace amongst the nations.

00:34:05.560 He will be a false messiah, a false Christ, a false political leader.

00:34:12.000 He will be the one who unites seemingly the Jews, the Muslims, the Christians.

00:34:20.580 There will be miracles.

00:34:22.860 He will be a man who is likable and who establishes a global order that has never been seen in the history of mankind.

00:34:34.320 That is who the Antichrist will be.

00:34:36.680 And also St. Paul in the New Testament is very clear that the Antichrist will set himself up as a god in the temple in Jerusalem.

00:34:49.240 That's going to happen.

00:34:50.580 So when you look at the Holy Land, you look at Jerusalem, you have to realize that that's going to be the ground evil or the ground center, right? 0.99

00:34:58.880 Ground zero of evil in the world, of persecution of those who truly love God and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

00:35:08.000 So I think we have to look at what do we expect when the Antichrist to come?

00:35:12.620 And he will come in a way that you will want to like him.

00:35:18.040 Everyone watching this right now, when you see him, you are going to want to like him.

00:35:21.760 You are going to want to praise him.

00:35:24.140 St. Paul says there will be a great delusion over all of mankind, and there will be a uniting of the nations in order to honor, respect, and eventually worship this evil man.

00:35:37.200 And once he gains his power, once that happens, that is when he will flip, and that will bring about the great tribulation, the great persecution that our Lord Jesus Christ talked about,

00:35:48.700 the great Armageddon that St. John sees in the book of Revelation.

00:35:54.140 So remember, when you're cheering for these wars or rooting for your guy, remember how the most possessed and evil man in the history of mankind, how he will emerge.

00:36:07.040 And think and pray accordingly, because it will be a moment of deceit over the entire human race.

00:36:16.140 So we're talking about someone here, this unifier, because, you know, certainly, and this is, it's interesting, because I want to point out to people that said, look, we call for peace in the Middle East every single day on this program.

00:36:30.720 But we do so, and I would say, you know, when you talk about the MAGA movement, you talk about America first, we're not talking about establishing a global order.

00:36:38.860 We're talking about establishing primacy for America in American policy, and in privacy for Americans.

00:36:45.380 When we talk about the polarizing figure of Donald Trump or any other America first leader, we're talking about pulling out of global orders.

00:36:52.260 We're talking about pulling out of these systems.

00:36:54.220 We're talking about saying and doing things that ruffle feathers, just like this program is today.

00:36:59.500 And we're not talking about using, and what you say, it's so important, this, we're talking about the father of lies, the prince of lies, people who go around spreading these lies, but in a way that makes you feel good, in a way that makes you feel as if you're part of something, as if you're doing something better.

00:37:18.180 This is for the greater good, it's for all things, it's not transactional, it's not something where we're putting military interests or geopolitical interests or economic interests.

00:37:31.000 And by the way, I'll mention it while I'm on the topic, but a lot of what we're seeing right now is being driven by the fact that Israel just found a massive oil deposit right off of their coast called the Leviathan oil field.

00:37:42.800 So when I talk about geopolitics, folks, usually what I go to and I use my rubric is, you know, look for the oil, chercher la petrol.

00:37:50.880 It's not like, you know, the French have a saying in chercher la femme, like look for the woman in any affair.

00:37:55.380 Well, I would say chercher la petrol in geopolitical affairs, international affairs, because you can see that certainly drives a lot of things.

00:38:02.300 That's obviously what's driving Israeli and Azerbaijan interests right now, which was to the detriment of the Armenian Christians, as we can see.

00:38:11.360 So if you if you understand that key aspect, then things begin to lock into place.

00:38:16.460 But of course, it also gave the Iranians a free hand. 0.99

00:38:18.880 And now here we are. So we're not talking about biblical philosophy driving events.

00:38:22.720 We're talking about very basic geopolitics, very basic economics.

00:38:28.620 That's what I see driving things.

00:38:30.880 So, Dr. Marshall, what else does the book of Revelations tell us what will occur when the Antichrist arrives?

00:38:36.440 Well, you have to turn to Revelation chapter 12 and 13.

00:38:41.580 That's actually the very middle of the book of Revelation.

00:38:44.500 It's right in the center. It's kind of the apex.

00:38:46.900 And there you see this mysterious revelation of a woman clothed with the sun, standing on the moon.

00:38:54.900 She gives birth to the Messiah.

00:38:56.740 There's the fall of all the demons.

00:38:58.940 There's the war of St. Michael against the fallen Elusive or Satan.

00:39:03.260 It's a it's very I mean, it's it's cosmic.

00:39:06.900 It's really magnificent.

00:39:08.200 Everyone should stop today and go read Revelation chapter 12.

00:39:11.620 And then in chapter 13, you see the emergence three figures.

00:39:16.220 And this is the demonic, satanic trinity.

00:39:18.400 There's the the dragon who is Satan.

00:39:20.620 And then there is a beast from the sea.

00:39:23.520 He is a king.

00:39:24.560 This is the Antichrist.

00:39:26.020 And then there's a beast from the land.

00:39:28.200 Some have said from the Holy Land.

00:39:29.660 And he is the false prophet. 0.73

00:39:31.260 And these three personages make up the unholy trinity, the unholy alliance.

00:39:39.220 And of course, the dragon, Satan, is inspiring, is indwelling, is possessing the Antichrist and leading him to have these seemingly miraculous powers to unite the nations, to deceive the nations.

00:39:52.780 And then this third character is the false prophet.

00:39:55.640 And the false prophet is a religious leader. 0.91

00:39:57.680 And he recreates a global religion that unites all people.

00:40:04.960 But ultimately, it starts to serve the worship of the Antichrist.

00:40:11.080 So this false prophet is leading all humanity into a new religion that ultimately worships the Antichrist as the new Messiah, the new son of God, the new prince of peace, although it is a false peace. 0.84

00:40:25.360 And so that right there in if you want to get down to the nitty gritty of the Antichrist in the Bible, you go to Revelation chapter 13.

00:40:33.440 And Revelation chapter 13 ends with the false prophet and the Antichrist establishing the mark of the beast.

00:40:41.960 And the mark of the beast is placed in two places, on the forehead and on the right hand.

00:40:48.960 And these locations signify your thoughts, your beliefs, your convictions, what you hold in your mind.

00:40:55.480 And then on the right hand, that signifies your acts, your deeds, your actions, what you do.

00:41:03.180 And whether or not there is a literal mark, there very well could be.

00:41:06.460 But the idea is that the lies of Satan, the reign of the Antichrist is imprinted in your mind and in your deeds.

00:41:15.040 And that's what we're called to resist.

00:41:16.720 And it's going to be tough.

00:41:17.760 There's going to be persecution.

00:41:18.640 Will you resist the mark of the beast when it appears, even though they tell you it's being done out of love?

00:41:27.460 Stay tuned.

00:41:27.960 We're coming back up more with Human Events Daily, discussing the Antichrist, Armageddon, the apocalypse itself.

00:41:36.400 Hours.

00:41:37.200 I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:41:41.600 All right, Jack Posobiec back here, live Human Events Daily.

00:43:09.300 Of course, we'll put that in the description.

00:43:11.420 Dr. Marshall and I promised everybody we'd be going through the comments.

00:43:15.560 We've got Josie, the red-headed libertarian herself. 1.00

00:43:19.140 We love Josie so much.

00:43:20.340 She's always on TimCast.

00:43:21.320 She writes in, I think the new religion will be science-based and the worship will be some kind of doctor or scientist that seems to be the direction we are headed in.

00:43:33.400 Interesting, or perhaps some kind of fusing of science, worship, and religious beliefs.

00:43:40.400 It's this idea that we can synthesize, right, you know, comparative theology, synthesize all theology together, Muslims, Jews, and Christians under the apex of science.

00:43:51.540 I really love these comments.

00:43:53.280 People keep sending them in.

00:43:54.220 This is fascinating information, but we've only got a couple of minutes left in the show.

00:43:58.680 Dr. Marshall, should we be terrified of the end times?

00:44:04.460 Should we be terrified of Armageddon?

00:44:05.780 I don't think that we should be trying to use political maneuvering and starting wars in order to test God.

00:44:13.140 But is this something that truly we should fear and be fearful of?

00:44:17.260 How should we think about this as believers?

00:44:20.560 Well, the early Christians had a greeting.

00:44:22.660 It was called Maranatha.

00:44:23.720 They would say Maranatha, and it means the Lord is coming or the Lord come.

00:44:27.880 That's actually how they greeted one another.

00:44:29.620 They thought of the Lord returning, Jesus Christ, as a good and joyful thing.

00:44:34.940 It is the reconciliation of the entire universe back to God, the fulfillment of God's plan.

00:44:43.360 And I think if you have faith, if you are trying to love God, as Jesus says, with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength, and your neighbor as yourself, and your eyes are looking up towards heaven, there is nothing to be afraid of.

00:45:00.920 You know, today's the feast of all saints, and so many of the saints were eaten by lions and burned alive and decapitated and skinned while they were still alive.

00:45:10.260 And many of these were singing hymns as they were tortured and as they died.

00:45:14.560 And so, really, my message to everyone out there is, Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace, and he reigns chiefly, not in Jerusalem, he reigns chiefly in the human heart.

00:45:25.680 So, turn to Jesus Christ, believe in him, and experience the peace that only he can give.

00:45:31.880 But no matter what you're called to do, whether it's to be a martyr and to suffer, or to live out this life with other kinds of sufferings and tribulations, ultimately, that is the reason God made you.

00:45:44.340 And that is where you will find your meaning, is carrying your cross in and with Jesus.

00:45:49.500 So, I would say, do not be afraid.

00:45:51.900 That's what all the angels say to all the humans in the Bible.

00:45:53.860 Be not afraid.

00:45:54.740 But Paul says, rejoice.

00:45:56.960 Again, I say, rejoice.

00:45:59.260 So, let's follow the message of St. Paul, believe in Jesus, and rejoice in him.

00:46:05.660 You know, Jesus said, be not afraid.

00:46:07.980 It's also one of my all-time favorite hymns.

00:46:11.260 And we say here on the show, stay frosty, folks.

00:46:16.560 Stay frosty.

00:46:18.000 Don't go down the rabbit hole of any of these things.

00:46:22.320 Don't try.

00:46:23.240 Don't be one of those people that's out there calling and saying, we need to have this.

00:46:27.140 We need to do this.

00:46:28.260 And I'll just say it.

00:46:29.000 The reason that I wanted to do today's show is not an attack on anybody.

00:46:32.940 It's not anything personal.

00:46:34.480 It's not like we're coming for you or we don't like you at all.

00:46:37.240 No, it's out of love.

00:46:38.600 It's out of love for my family.

00:46:40.220 It's out of love for my country.

00:46:41.640 It's about love and protection of the United States Navy, the United States military, all of our family members in harm's way.

00:46:50.680 And Dr. Marshall, you've got some family members in the military, too, don't you?

00:46:54.940 Yeah.

00:46:55.160 My oldest son's in the Navy.

00:46:56.300 That's right.

00:46:57.980 And so we know that with each aircraft carrier, that's 5,000 American souls, 5,000 sailors.

00:47:05.500 You add in the carrier battle groups.

00:47:07.420 You add up all of our troops around the Middle East.

00:47:09.400 We're talking about potentially 50,000 Americans that are sitting right there.

00:47:14.080 They're sitting right there within range of all these things.

00:47:16.420 And then if this sparks into a wider war – and by the way, keep in mind, folks, I'm saying a lot of – do you really want to go to World War III with Joe Biden at the helm, this guy?

00:47:26.660 Like, come on.

00:47:27.020 I think that's probably the best argument.

00:47:28.940 You know, put the theology on the shelf.

00:47:31.160 That's probably the best argument I've got on my side right now.

00:47:35.760 Dr. Marshall, tell us again about the book.

00:47:37.960 Where can people go?

00:47:39.380 This is a heady subject.

00:47:40.680 Obviously, one hour is nowhere near enough time, but we can give people a primer.

00:47:44.940 But for those who want more, where can they go to get it?

00:47:48.420 Yeah, I prepared a book that's line by line through the book of Revelation, and it's theological.

00:47:54.760 It's based primarily on Scripture, the Old Testament, and many of the early church fathers and saints and what they wrote about the book of Revelation, the Antichrist, et cetera.

00:48:02.240 So if you want to go line by line and have a sober, joyful, and well-researched take on the book of Revelation, the end times, from a historical point of view, check out my book.

00:48:13.080 It's called Antichrist and Apocalypse, and you can get it on Amazon.com, probably the easiest way to get it.

00:48:19.320 Antichrist and Apocalypse by Taylor Marshall.

00:48:22.100 That's me.

00:48:23.000 All right.

00:48:23.640 And what are your coordinates?

00:48:25.880 What do you mean my coordinates?

00:48:27.680 For The Daily Show.

00:48:28.720 Come on.

00:48:30.560 I don't know what you're talking about.

00:48:32.520 No, no.

00:48:32.940 I mean, for your YouTube, your socials.

00:48:35.880 Oh, oh, oh, yeah.

00:48:36.860 You can follow me on YouTube at DrTaylorMarshall.

00:48:39.800 You think I'm still talking military, folks.

00:48:42.380 Yeah, I'm like, do you want me to reveal my location?

00:48:46.060 Yes, exactly.

00:48:46.560 DrTaylorMarshall on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, I'm everywhere.

00:48:51.160 Just Google in my name, Taylor Marshall, and you'll find me.

00:48:54.400 All right.

00:48:54.700 God bless, Dr. Marshall.

00:48:55.760 Look, folks, on the battlefield of Armageddon, Jesus will be side by side.

00:49:01.740 With true believers leading us to victory, the light, the new Jerusalem, the sword of

00:49:07.380 St. Michael.

00:49:08.360 He's got that covered.

00:49:09.520 What we need to cover down on every day is making sure that our families, our country,

00:49:14.200 our lives, and our future are secure.

00:49:17.600 That's what we do here in and out every single day by peeling apart the layers of the globalists,

00:49:23.020 their agenda, their machinations for this new global order.

00:49:27.780 Call upon the sword of St. Michael.

00:49:30.180 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay a short.
