00:00:25.820 The Poso Daily Brief.

00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.

00:00:40.340 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.

00:00:46.880 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.

00:00:49.820 Deliver us from evil.

00:00:51.340 I'm not loyal to anyone.

00:00:53.640 I don't do that.

00:00:54.860 One week from today, next Tuesday, 4 p.m. Eastern, On The Dot.

00:00:58.640 That is the deadline.

00:00:59.980 Chief Justice John Roberts gave special counsel Jack Smith today to respond to Donald Trump's

00:01:05.160 latest bid for immunity.

00:01:06.840 Let's talk about the honor roll here, Willie.

00:01:09.860 And I'm dead serious.

00:01:11.380 The Republican senators who stepped up to support America, to support America's allies,

00:01:19.340 to support Israel, and to support Ukraine.

00:01:22.600 I'm so grateful.

00:01:23.720 Obviously, there have been a lot of Republicans, Willie, who have done Vladimir Putin's bidding.

00:01:30.460 Very grateful for those Republicans who stood up.

00:01:33.260 I don't know who Mike Johnson is.

00:01:34.880 I mean, it's clear Donald Trump is the Speaker of the House.

00:01:37.620 Some members, by the way, nominated him to be Speaker of the House.

00:01:40.820 And he clearly is.

00:01:41.900 He's in full control.

00:01:43.220 Yesterday, the Senate took important action to advance America's core national security

00:01:48.480 interests by overwhelmingly passing the National Security Supplemental Agreement.

00:01:53.380 This bipartisan legislation will allow the United States to continue to support the people

00:01:58.220 of Ukraine alongside our allies and partners as they fight every single day to defend their

00:02:03.580 freedom and independence.

00:02:04.900 The Republican-led House will not be jammed or forced into passing a foreign aid bill that

00:02:09.960 was opposed by most Republican senators and does nothing to secure our own border.

00:02:16.540 The suspects in that attack on two city comps in Times Square.

00:02:19.560 Police now say 19-year-old Darwin Andres Gomez-Izuquiel has been arrested in a separate incident.

00:02:25.940 Turns out he was arrested for a robbery yesterday.

00:02:28.360 NBC News is projecting that Tom Swasey has won.

00:02:32.740 Whichever way you look at it, a Democrat's replacing me.

00:02:35.600 They're both registered Democrats.

00:02:37.080 Well, for the first time in U.S. history, a sitting cabinet secretary has been impeached

00:02:40.940 by Congress.

00:02:42.120 Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security, now faces the prospect of a trial

00:02:46.540 in the Senate.

00:02:47.320 The resolution is adopted.

00:02:50.260 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, live from Washington,

00:02:54.820 D.C.

00:02:55.260 Today is February 14th, and no, Dominique 2024.

00:02:58.980 Today is Valentine's Day.

00:03:00.360 And yes, of course, today is also Ash Wednesday.

00:03:03.800 We have a report in from Washington, D.C.

00:03:05.980 The House Intel Committee, Mike Turner, the head of this, saying that he's calling for

00:03:12.140 the White House to declassify intelligence regarding a Russian military capability, a Russian military

00:03:21.160 capability.

00:03:22.120 What does this mean?

00:03:23.460 Well, it could mean a lot of things.

00:03:25.200 Putin, in his interview with Tucker the other day, specifically came out and said that Russia

00:03:31.600 was developing hypersonic missiles to defeat U.S. air defense.

00:03:34.740 We also know that Russia has been using, and I've talked about this for months, if not years 0.98

00:03:41.940 at this point on this program, talking about how Russia and Iran are using these new kamikaze

00:03:48.120 drones that can defeat U.S. air defense.

00:03:51.100 However, there's an interesting timing on all of this, isn't there?

00:03:54.840 You got this guy, Mike Turner, this House Intel chair, a guy who's been nominally pro-Trump,

00:04:00.920 but if I remember correctly, at the Helsinki summit just after it, which I attended, by

00:04:06.320 the way, with Tucker, there in Helsinki, Finland, when President Trump met with President Putin,

00:04:13.120 that Mike Turner blasted President Trump after the Helsinki summit with President Putin, looking

00:04:19.740 to at least reach some kind of peace agreement with or normalize some kind of relations with the Russian

00:04:29.300 Federation.

00:04:30.540 We also know that Mike Turner is a guy who is completely in bed with so and takes a lot

00:04:35.940 of donations.

00:04:36.680 I said it was going to be nice today, right?

00:04:38.060 Going to be nice for Lent.

00:04:38.820 So, takes a lot of donations, and this is just a fact, from the defense industry.

00:04:44.780 He's out of the Wright-Patterson area, Air Force Base, and we also know that Mike Turner

00:04:50.380 has been a guy who's extremely pro-Ukraine spending.

00:04:56.080 So, walk through the timing of this, and I just like to walk through the timing of this very quickly.

00:05:01.160 Tucker interview drops.

00:05:02.760 Then, there's this massive Senate spending bill.

00:05:05.360 We know that Johnson says that he doesn't want to bring the spending bill up.

00:05:09.680 He says it's DOA in the House, and we're not sure if this discharge petition is going

00:05:14.260 to go down or not.

00:05:15.420 So, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, we get a question about a national security threat,

00:05:22.080 which makes it sound like there's about to be some kind of attack that's going to take

00:05:26.040 place.

00:05:26.340 By the way, if there's an attack that's going to take place, then shouldn't the national

00:05:29.400 security community, I don't know, actually go and prevent the attack from taking place?

00:05:33.940 Like, I don't know, shut down our border?

00:05:36.360 Shut down illegals coming in through our airlines? 0.97

00:05:39.460 Like, why are we letting them on airplanes?

00:05:41.160 Does anyone vet the illegals before we let them on these airplanes traveling around inside 1.00

00:05:45.300 our country?

00:05:46.020 Could that be a potential vector for a national security threat?

00:05:48.800 Oh, it is.

00:05:49.480 And yet, you tell us to shut up when this happens, even though we are impeaching the

00:05:52.940 Orcas, which is good, and we're going to talk to Mike Davis later.

00:05:55.400 I hope there's more that comes of this.

00:05:57.160 I don't know if that'll go through the Senate, but we'll see.

00:05:58.840 But here's my question.

00:06:01.260 If this is just a capability that Russia has, are there indications that Russia is about

00:06:05.800 to use this capability?

00:06:07.200 Are they about to nuke the White House?

00:06:08.660 Please let us know, because the timing of this and the person who's giving this out is

00:06:14.200 very suspicious.

00:06:15.720 Eric from Texas joins us next.

00:06:17.540 Humanity Daily continues.

00:06:28.840 On our Rumble channel.

00:06:30.400 Make sure you're subscribed.

00:06:31.700 You hit the notifications so you'll never miss a clip.

00:06:34.620 You'll never miss a new live episode.

00:06:37.180 And we're putting them out every single day of the week.

00:06:40.240 I rolled with bloods.

00:06:42.200 And them boys had a saying.

00:06:44.420 You can't be listening to all that slappy whack, trim out his alitzabam ship, nippy

00:06:48.840 bam bam, like human events with Jack Posobiec.

00:06:51.840 I'm convinced that the American church has arrived at a significant moment of truth.

00:07:04.340 We are only 75, 80 years removed from three separate regimes that killed 60 to 70 million

00:07:10.820 people intentionally.

00:07:11.660 The parallels with where the American church is now to where the German church stood in

00:07:19.320 the face of the Nazi regime are unavoidable and grim.

00:07:32.320 Churches need understand really what Marxism is, which is to destroy the church, to destroy

00:07:36.440 the word of God.

00:07:37.320 So if you capture the seminaries, you capture the pastors, you capture the laity, you capture

00:07:41.360 the soul of the world.

00:07:44.980 Christianity is not just about saying Jesus loves you and then going to heaven one day,

00:07:49.260 but that there's a war that's raging.

00:07:54.020 The church is weakening, which is why Marxism is ascendant in America today.

00:07:57.700 This is the hour of the American church.

00:08:11.360 Absolutely incredible new film that has just come out, letter to the American church.

00:08:21.800 We've got Eric Metaxas, the filmmaker on with us today.

00:08:25.240 Eric, tell me about this film.

00:08:28.060 We're here, you know, for, for us on the Catholic side, it's, it's Ash Wednesday.

00:08:32.520 A perfect day, I think, to remind the American church about what our duties, our responsibilities

00:08:41.040 to the world are, and the fact that, quite frankly, we have not been living up to them.

00:08:46.860 Tell me about the film and why you decided to be so open about this topic.

00:08:51.760 Well, thanks, Jack.

00:08:52.940 Listen, we're in a war.

00:08:54.640 We're in a spiritual war.

00:08:56.360 And when you're in a spiritual war, it means there's good versus evil.

00:09:00.600 That's the definition of a spiritual war.

00:09:02.460 And evil never advertises itself as evil.

00:09:05.280 Evil always, the scripture says that Satan comes as an angel of light.

00:09:09.260 The devil always wants to work with those who can be fooled into thinking that they're 0.67

00:09:14.620 doing a good thing.

00:09:15.720 That's where you get virtue signaling versus actual virtue.

00:09:19.100 And so you have a lot of confused people in the American church today who are enabling

00:09:25.960 satanic evil to come into the culture. 0.90

00:09:29.160 Whether you're talking about the transgender lunacy, drag, drag queen story hour for little 1.00

00:09:35.580 kids, the sexualization of children, grooming, that's just one aspect of it, right? 0.97

00:09:41.740 We could talk about open borders.

00:09:43.440 We could talk about critical race theory.

00:09:46.240 We could talk about the ideas that are flooding into the culture that most people look around

00:09:55.120 and go, what is happening?

00:09:57.060 Who decided 10 minutes ago that there's more than two sexes? 1.00

00:10:00.480 A rooster can't lay an egg.

00:10:01.640 What changed?

00:10:02.940 What changed is that the forces that have been working all along, mostly kind of underground,

00:10:09.860 have come out into the open.

00:10:11.360 Part of it is because of Donald Trump.

00:10:13.120 Not that Trump did it intentionally, but by virtue of who he is, he's forced, he's kind

00:10:18.320 of like flushed the birds out of the bushes here.

00:10:20.480 And suddenly we are seeing evil.

00:10:23.300 And the question is, will the churches stand?

00:10:27.380 And in my book letter to the American church, and obviously in the film letter to the American

00:10:30.660 church, I make the very direct, horrifying parallel to the churches in Germany under the 0.90

00:10:36.360 Nazis.

00:10:37.060 In the beginning, right in the beginning, many of them had no clue where this was going.

00:10:42.520 They didn't understand that we're leading to the death camps and everything that we today

00:10:46.420 would say like, oh, Hitler, evil, obviously.

00:10:48.900 No, no, no.

00:10:49.580 Go to 1933.

00:10:50.840 Many in the churches opened their doors to Nazi doctrine.

00:10:55.320 Or if they didn't open their door to Nazi doctrine and said, you know what? 0.57

00:10:58.080 We don't want to push back against it.

00:11:00.040 We don't want to be political.

00:11:01.860 Romans 13, it says in the scripture, we should go along with whatever the government says,

00:11:04.960 right?

00:11:05.660 Well, not exactly.

00:11:06.900 No, but they went along with it.

00:11:08.620 They opened the door to satanic evil.

00:11:10.100 And the thesis of this book and the new film letter to the American church is that is precisely

00:11:14.640 where the American church is today.

00:11:17.820 Notice I say the American church.

00:11:19.220 I'm not talking about specific denominations.

00:11:21.360 Anybody who calls himself a Christian, you're the church and you are guilty if you are going 1.00

00:11:27.880 along with what is happening in America.

00:11:30.040 It is your job to stand against it.

00:11:31.920 God won't force you, but he calls you to join him.

00:11:34.340 Well, Eric, let me ask you about that specifically because that line, that passage in Romans 13

00:11:40.460 was also used by a lot of churches in this country, not just to go along with, because

00:11:45.080 we've seen, and I'll come out and just say these sort of like false churches going out

00:11:49.720 and calling themselves, saying that they're for the LGBT agenda, introducing all sorts

00:11:54.840 of wokeness into their theology and twisting the Bible into, you know, there's a guy on

00:11:59.780 Instagram who I love who does Woke Jesus, if anyone wants to see some really good satire

00:12:05.060 of all of this.

00:12:07.180 But Romans 13 was also used by some of these churches and a lot of megachurches to support

00:12:12.180 the lockdowns.

00:12:13.460 So let's unpack that a little bit.

00:12:15.920 How can we support Romans 13 if we don't support what the government tells us?

00:12:22.060 God does not let us off the hook.

00:12:24.100 You quote scripture, good for you.

00:12:25.540 So does Satan.

00:12:26.600 Satan quotes scripture in the wilderness to Jesus, okay?

00:12:30.600 Scripture can be twisted for the devil's ends.

00:12:33.880 So anybody who thinks like, oh, this is what the Bible says, God doesn't really care if

00:12:38.920 you know the scripture.

00:12:39.760 He cares if you live the scripture, because you can quote it all day long and do the opposite

00:12:43.420 of God's will.

00:12:44.440 And so you have a lot of people right now, look, this horrible Bible study has come out,

00:12:48.360 pushed by Russell Moore and the leftists that have infiltrated the evangelical church.

00:12:54.860 They're pushing this woke agenda in churches.

00:12:58.480 What could be more satanic?

00:12:59.520 And by the way, what do you think the Nazis were doing?

00:13:01.800 The Nazis were trying to take over the German church.

00:13:05.040 They said, we want a Reichskirche.

00:13:07.200 We want a national Nazi German church, right? 1.00

00:13:11.340 And so we're living at a time where you have to have discernment.

00:13:14.660 And is my pastor leading me to do what God is calling me to do in this hour?

00:13:20.640 Or is he just playing churches?

00:13:21.820 He's saying, you know what?

00:13:22.520 I don't want any trouble.

00:13:24.100 Let's just, you know, keep our heads down, you know, put up the BLM square and just, we

00:13:28.880 want to be nice.

00:13:29.520 We want to do evangelism.

00:13:30.820 Lots of people listening to this right now, to this conversation, they're going to those

00:13:34.940 kinds of churches.

00:13:35.980 And I'm here to say the hour is late.

00:13:39.140 If you knew where we were in America, and if you knew that it was God's will that the

00:13:43.240 church stand against these evils, and you say, well, I'm not ready yet.

00:13:47.640 I'm not, I don't want that battle.

00:13:49.420 That's exactly what the German churches said.

00:13:51.860 Most of them said, we don't want any trouble.

00:13:54.960 We feel like we've got some, some kind of, you know, biblical excuse to kind of like, you

00:13:59.260 know, like you just said, Romans 13, just, just go along with what the government says.

00:14:03.120 Get the vaccine.

00:14:04.280 Don't speak out against open borders.

00:14:05.940 Don't speak out against election fraud.

00:14:07.360 Don't speak out against anything.

00:14:09.060 Just be quiet.

00:14:10.500 Do your little church thing.

00:14:12.100 Do you know that in communist China, the communist Chinese government who are utterly 0.87

00:14:16.620 atheistic and evil, they are very happy with those kinds of churches in China. 1.00

00:14:22.220 Just do your little thing on Sunday morning.

00:14:24.700 And it doesn't affect anything.

00:14:26.540 When you leave that church, you bow to the secular atheist authority of the Marxist state.

00:14:32.600 There are many churches in America that are just like that, that what they do, it's like

00:14:35.860 a hobby in a basement.

00:14:36.860 It doesn't affect anything.

00:14:38.240 They just do this little thing.

00:14:39.560 And when they come out of the basement, they're in the real world.

00:14:41.880 Well, you're supposed to take your faith into the public square, into politics, because

00:14:45.860 we're commanded to love our neighbors.

00:14:47.500 And if you're not doing that, you're guilty.

00:14:49.720 And I'm just here to say that God always warns us.

00:14:53.000 He warned us through Bonhoeffer.

00:14:54.460 I'm using the story of Bonhoeffer to warn the American church.

00:14:58.440 It's the voice of Bonhoeffer speaking from the dead and saying, okay, the German church 0.99

00:15:02.680 got this wrong.

00:15:03.420 American church, will you get this right?

00:15:06.960 There's actually, so there's a phrase, a couple of things, so much to respond to there.

00:15:11.960 But there is, you know, there's a phrase at the end of the Catholic mass where it's at

00:15:15.720 the very end where they say, go forth.

00:15:18.920 It's like, okay, you've been here.

00:15:20.740 You've heard everything we have to say.

00:15:21.940 Now go forth.

00:15:23.100 Go forth and spread the good news.

00:15:24.280 Go.

00:15:24.680 You are given orders.

00:15:26.360 And if you don't take those as orders to go and live your faith and to go and be a,

00:15:31.800 you know, a representative of your faith, be a witness, it's like, it's, you know, easy

00:15:36.640 one when we're eating out with the family, you know, say grace.

00:15:40.020 Say grace as a family when you're in public.

00:15:42.760 It's one of the easiest ways to give witness or pray before your plane takes off.

00:15:47.020 We always do this, but there's a line in Romans 13 where, and it's, it really has to do with

00:15:52.560 the word submit, submit to the governing authorities.

00:15:54.500 And, and there's actually a translation issue here because of the Greek, um, the word in

00:15:59.420 Greek, um, actually, and I just pulled this up as you were speaking, it, it can also has

00:16:05.120 a connotation of be subject to, right?

00:16:07.840 Because let me, let's look at the history of the apostles, right?

00:16:10.860 They didn't submit to the Romans, you know, when the Romans were saying, oh, you, you know,

00:16:15.740 you guys, you know, you're not supposed to be spreading that, uh, that, that new religion,

00:16:19.840 that newfound, newfangled religion you guys came up with, which, you know, we classify

00:16:23.480 as a cult and we're going to put y'all. 0.67

00:16:25.000 Yeah, they didn't go along with that.

00:16:26.360 Did Peter and Paul go along with that?

00:16:28.500 Did they submit to the authorities?

00:16:30.180 No, I don't think so.

00:16:31.040 So it's kind of ridiculous to people to use this as sort of like a clobber passage. 0.97

00:16:35.840 Oh, I'm going to clobber you with this.

00:16:37.140 I've won the debate because I pulled it up.

00:16:38.900 No, it means you're subject to it.

00:16:40.360 Like it means, okay, if you're going to break through the, the ruling authority, just understand

00:16:44.160 that there are going to be potentially consequences, right?

00:16:47.220 Because as there were consequences for Peter and Paul, it's not only that.

00:16:51.260 Now, there's, it's one thing to live out your faith, right?

00:16:53.340 To have ashes on your head and go into the workplace and to pray.

00:16:56.560 And that's one thing, but to live out your faith in every other sphere, not just the religious

00:17:01.700 sphere, but to say that my faith says that slavery is wrong.

00:17:05.300 So if there's a candidate like Abraham Lincoln, who's working, uh, to, to end slavery, I'm going 0.68

00:17:10.820 to advocate for him publicly people said at the time, Oh, don't be political.

00:17:14.980 Just do your church thing.

00:17:16.140 There's people on both sides of the issue of slavery.

00:17:18.260 And we, we're not going to get into that.

00:17:20.140 You're going to be guilty.

00:17:21.420 If you do not get into that, when it comes to transgender, when it comes to a host of

00:17:26.240 issues, there are churches that are pretending that you can take some safe religious path

00:17:30.680 and not get involved.

00:17:31.520 And I'm here to say, that's not what the Bible says.

00:17:34.120 That's not what God says.

00:17:35.560 God says that we are to be his advocates, advocates for him and his principles in the

00:17:41.820 public square.

00:17:42.840 And when you talk about first century, uh, Roman, the Roman world, they did not have 0.95

00:17:50.640 a country where they were deputized because patriots had died so they could be free and

00:17:55.960 they could govern themselves.

00:17:56.840 They didn't have that.

00:17:57.880 We have that.

00:17:58.720 We have no excuse in America.

00:18:01.280 Christians are supposed to live their faith out. 1.00

00:18:04.400 And we have no excuse.

00:18:05.560 Patriots have died so that we can speak freely, so we can advocate for what is right.

00:18:10.960 We can call president Biden a bum who is selling America out to the Chinese.

00:18:15.420 You have the freedom in America to do that. 0.92

00:18:17.620 And if you're a Christian.

00:18:18.540 Quick break, Eric, coming up, we'll be right back.

00:18:20.660 Well, I want to finish that point with you because this is so important.

00:18:23.360 And then also explain to people about what the movie is and how they can watch it.

00:18:26.920 Stay tuned.

00:18:29.900 You know, they talk about influencers.

00:18:31.860 These are influencers and they're friends of mine.

00:18:36.320 Jack Prasovic.

00:18:37.760 Where's Jack?

00:18:38.760 Jack.

00:18:39.760 He's done a great job.

00:18:41.180 All right.

00:18:44.580 Jack Prasovic back live with Eric Metaxas.

00:18:46.700 If you're watching on X right now, that's right.

00:18:49.500 I've been I've been asking the question.

00:18:51.080 Does does Russia have space lasers?

00:18:53.780 Is that what's going to come in and take out the United States?

00:18:57.020 Is that this big national security threat?

00:18:59.040 Are they giving the space lasers to the illegals, 10,000 of which are crossing our border every 1.00

00:19:03.880 day?

00:19:04.180 I'm not sure.

00:19:05.880 But there's another security threat, a threat to the security of our country, a threat to

00:19:10.760 the security of potentially our national spirit, if we're even allowed to discuss such things.

00:19:15.940 But it's Ash Wednesday, so I'm going to.

00:19:17.780 And we've got Eric Metaxas, who's made an entire film about it.

00:19:21.940 Yes, I wrote the book letter to the American church.

00:19:25.100 I didn't make the film.

00:19:26.080 Some Hollywood veterans heard me speaking about this and said, we've got to turn this

00:19:30.120 into a documentary film to get it out there.

00:19:31.820 And by the way, let me say this, Jack, this film is available free to any church that wants

00:19:38.840 to screen it.

00:19:39.720 And if you go to some church, I want to say to you, if your church is not interested in

00:19:44.120 a free screening, no strings attached, there's no joke here, free, I want to know why you're

00:19:49.580 going to that church, because there are a lot of people in America right now going to churches

00:19:53.500 that are helping the other side, that are doing nothing, that are sitting on the fence,

00:19:58.500 pretending that they don't need to get involved in this fighting this war against evil.

00:20:04.360 And that's exactly what the German churches were persuaded.

00:20:07.560 They were persuaded that we can sit this one out.

00:20:09.840 So I say to anybody, if you go to any kind of church, go to lettertotheamericanchurch.com

00:20:14.660 at lettertotheamericanchurch.com.

00:20:16.380 You can sign up for a free screening.

00:20:19.520 It's vital we get the message out.

00:20:21.420 And I want to say I had on my program this morning, Bishop Strickland.

00:20:24.800 He's one of the heroes in the Catholic church.

00:20:27.280 I don't care what kind of church you go to, if you're Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox,

00:20:30.920 there are good guys and bad guys in every church.

00:20:34.660 There are good guys who get this, and there are people who don't want to get it.

00:20:37.960 They're just going with the flow and working with evil.

00:20:40.680 And then there are actively bad guys who are promoting silence in the church, promoting

00:20:46.060 silence so that the left-wing Marxist, cultural Marxist agenda can take over, so that the

00:20:51.780 globalist agenda can take over.

00:20:53.460 They are advocating silence.

00:20:55.500 And so you have Christianity Today, Russell Moore, David French, Phil Vischer participating

00:20:59.500 in a documentary made by the atheist leftist, Mike, I was going to say Mike Stivick.

00:21:09.960 We're facing amazing things.

00:21:12.640 They're lifting up the boogeyman of Christian nationalism. 0.88

00:21:15.840 Many in the church are going along with that.

00:21:17.740 And I'm here to say the hour is very late.

00:21:20.220 If you were living in Germany in the 1930s and you're just doing church, let me tell you

00:21:25.080 something, there are a lot of Jews going in boxcars to death camps who wish Christians 1.00

00:21:29.220 would get off their rear ends and actually practice their faith in reality, not just 0.99

00:21:33.720 worship God and sing songs, but actually get engaged.

00:21:37.300 That's what God is saying to the American church.

00:21:39.820 And if you go to any kind of church, I just want to say, lettertotheamericanchurch.com,

00:21:43.740 you can do a free screening, but get people involved.

00:21:46.620 This is about God speaking in our time.

00:21:49.880 And by the way, if we don't, the dark side wins.

00:21:53.020 We see it right now.

00:21:53.980 We know that we're in a pitched battle in this nation.

00:21:56.620 And I really, I want to say that it is up to the church, those who dare call themselves 0.99

00:22:02.060 Christian.

00:22:02.500 If you dare call yourself a Christian, God calls you to this battle. 0.99

00:22:05.520 By the way, you were born for this battle.

00:22:07.740 This is not like extra credit.

00:22:09.240 This is why we're here.

00:22:10.380 So lettertotheamericanchurch.com, all the details are there.

00:22:16.400 And when we look at this, this idea that there are churches that are going along with this,

00:22:21.980 there are churches that have been infiltrated.

00:22:24.180 And part of this, you know, I will throw this out that we have a, I have a buddy that I work

00:22:30.240 with who, I won't say who had his name on air because I don't think he said any of this publicly,

00:22:34.120 but he has this, he has this phrase where he says, so many of the churches today, and it goes back to

00:22:39.540 what you were saying, they've, they've become this sort of like Omicron Christianity.

00:22:44.740 So you remember when, when COVID was going around and Omicron was sort of like the weakest variant

00:22:49.600 of COVID, but it was also, but it was also the most contagious, right?

00:22:54.520 It spread the quickest.

00:22:55.800 And he said, the problem with so much of these American churches, so many of these American 1.00

00:22:59.660 churches now is that they become Omicron Christianity where it's like, and you know, 0.57

00:23:04.260 I don't know if you have, you've commented at all on this, um, this, this feet washing ad that was on

00:23:08.920 the Superbowl.

00:23:09.900 And he was like, there it is.

00:23:11.000 There's Omicron Christianity. 0.95

00:23:12.500 It's just Jesus loves you.

00:23:14.580 And that's it, right?

00:23:15.840 Jesus loves you.

00:23:16.560 And he doesn't call you to do anything.

00:23:19.300 And I will say that, um, pastor, pastor Mark Driscoll had a, had a great tweet, absolute

00:23:23.700 banger this morning.

00:23:24.540 And he said, Jesus washed the feet of Judas and he still sent him to hell.

00:23:29.540 So just because forgiveness as is offered and atonement is offered, uh, love is offered.

00:23:36.880 Grace is offered.

00:23:38.540 You still have to accept it.

00:23:39.920 And there are still, uh, you know, duties and there are, you still have to follow along.

00:23:44.320 You don't just get this, all this stuff for free.

00:23:46.580 Well, that see, that's the whole thing is that God is calling us to something beautiful,

00:23:50.940 to an adventure, uh, to, to a battle where we get to be with him fighting against evil.

00:23:58.400 It's the most glorious thing, uh, to be called to this adventure that God says, I want you

00:24:03.800 to work with me for my purposes in history.

00:24:06.360 And guess what?

00:24:07.300 Pretty soon it's going to be over.

00:24:09.020 You're not going to get a second chance.

00:24:10.580 This is it.

00:24:11.480 Join me.

00:24:11.940 And there are many people that seem to think, well, I don't want any trouble.

00:24:15.400 I just, we just want to do church.

00:24:16.540 We just want to be nice.

00:24:17.700 I don't want somebody to look at me funny.

00:24:19.740 You know, this book is titled letter to the American church.

00:24:22.400 I was going to title it faith without works is dead.

00:24:25.880 That's right in the scripture, uh, in the epistle of James, this let's go, let's go.

00:24:31.020 Hold on.

00:24:31.600 I got the rosary right here, Eric.

00:24:33.140 I got it right here.

00:24:34.620 When people say, you know, Protestants all say, well, we're saved by faith. 0.94

00:24:37.840 We're saved by faith.

00:24:38.620 Yes, you are, but it better be real faith.

00:24:41.100 And the scripture says, if there's no works, if you're not living out your faith, God knows

00:24:46.460 you actually don't have faith.

00:24:47.980 You're just talking a good game.

00:24:49.240 So the fact that you go to church or you say I'm a Christian is meaningless.

00:24:52.600 There have been some of the most wicked people, I won't name them here, claim to be Christians. 1.00

00:24:57.620 Joe Biden claims to be a Catholic Christian.

00:24:59.980 Can you imagine advocating and every other wicked thing?

00:25:05.600 And you say that you're a Christian, it frightens me. 1.00

00:25:08.280 I would rather hang out with a pagan than a Christian who's working for the devil's purposes. 1.00

00:25:12.120 But there are many who go to churches right now that are not taking a stand.

00:25:16.520 They're saying, well, we're just going to sit on the fence.

00:25:18.300 I'm here to tell you the devil owns the fence.

00:25:20.960 You think you're in a safe place.

00:25:22.600 You're working for the dark side.

00:25:24.320 If you do not get off that fence and choose and join with people who are trying to fight

00:25:29.880 for truth, fight against corruption, fight against wickedness and lies, if you think you

00:25:35.300 can sit this one out, I'm here to tell you you're deeply mistaken.

00:25:38.900 And many, many Germans who said, I'm a Christian, they sat it out and the results were a nightmare.

00:25:45.280 I cover that in the book to make it very clear that I didn't make this up.

00:25:49.620 It happened.

00:25:50.700 God allowed them to go with the flow and then history judges them.

00:25:54.980 They were not where they were supposed to be.

00:25:56.520 They were not doing what they were supposed to do.

00:25:57.960 And we know that evil won.

00:25:59.640 And that's where we are.

00:26:01.260 I have a quote right here from St. Augustine.

00:26:05.180 The heretics lie in wait, hidden in the cloak of the Christian name. 0.99

00:26:10.880 Because it's much easier. 0.98

00:26:12.040 It's much easier, you know, if you're the demon at the door, the demon at the gate, and

00:26:18.080 you're, you're, you know, this is, you know, warfare is like this as well, right?

00:26:21.140 If you're the enemy at the gate, then of course I know you're the enemy.

00:26:24.360 I can see you.

00:26:25.140 I can count your number.

00:26:26.240 I can find out ways to fight you.

00:26:27.520 But if you come in claiming to be my friend, speaking my, my, my words, speaking my language,

00:26:34.960 looking like me, sounding like me, but then all of a sudden just adding and subtracting

00:26:40.260 a few words here and there, manipulating, subverting.

00:26:43.880 This is a far more pernicious path.

00:26:47.420 Because on the face of it, you might say something like Jesus loves us, or I don't know,

00:26:52.820 he gets us, but instead, and it sounds like something that's about loving Christ, but

00:26:58.040 actually it's leading you to a different place.

00:27:01.540 Think, think about that.

00:27:02.600 What could be more diabolical? 0.97

00:27:04.220 That's why all the Christians that are involved in opening the door to evil, whether it is 1.00

00:27:10.220 in churches or in their communities, it is, it's much worse when you're a Christian, when 0.99

00:27:15.060 you claim the name of Christ and you say, I'm a Christian and you're working with the

00:27:19.720 dark side.

00:27:20.200 That's far more horrifying than somebody says, I'm a pagan.

00:27:23.360 I believe in nothing.

00:27:24.180 I'm an atheist.

00:27:24.780 I believe in nothing.

00:27:25.900 You have no excuse.

00:27:27.180 But if you're a Christian, whoa, it is a scary thing. 1.00

00:27:30.080 So I mentioned before that Rob Reiner has made a film.

00:27:33.860 It's coming out soon about Christian nationalism, the boogeyman of Christians getting involved 1.00

00:27:38.380 in politics and saying that they want to destroy democracy.

00:27:41.120 Think of the irony.

00:27:42.380 That's exactly the opposite of the truth, right?

00:27:44.780 We want to preserve this Republic.

00:27:47.020 We want to preserve freedom.

00:27:48.420 We want free speech.

00:27:50.680 We don't want to censor those with whom we disagree.

00:27:52.880 It is so diabolical.

00:27:54.440 They're saying exactly the opposite.

00:27:56.200 And he got Christians, ostensible Christians, like Russ Moore, the head of Christianity Today, 0.62

00:28:00.900 like David French, like Phil Vischer, who started Veggie Tales.

00:28:04.060 He got them to participate in this film that is calling for Christians to be silent in the 1.00

00:28:09.860 face of evil.

00:28:10.840 There's a new book out by Tim Alberta.

00:28:12.800 He was a writer for the Atlantic Monthly.

00:28:16.180 It's saying exactly the opposite of what I'm saying in my book, Letter to the American

00:28:20.140 Church.

00:28:20.500 And people are, they're drinking this Kool-Aid.

00:28:22.520 They're thinking, yeah, I don't need to do anything.

00:28:24.420 Andy Stanley, a year ago, came out with a book, Not In It to Win It, saying that if you

00:28:27.860 get involved politically, oh, you're just a power monger.

00:28:30.640 You're just a culture warrior.

00:28:32.160 That's what they said about people who opposed the slave trade.

00:28:34.840 That's what they said about people who opposed murdering the unborn.

00:28:38.340 All right, all right, all right, but two minutes to go here.

00:28:44.480 Eric, I got to ask you, the other clobber phrase, the other clobber phrase, because I

00:28:49.440 was reading some of the comments as we were chatting, the other clobber phrase that people

00:28:53.100 use out of Scripture all the time is, turn the other cheek.

00:28:55.880 Shouldn't you just, aren't you Christians? 0.99

00:28:57.060 Shouldn't you Christians just turn the other cheek? 1.00

00:28:58.720 Isn't that what your Scripture tells you to do?

00:29:01.480 Why do you want to defend Christendom?

00:29:03.840 Yeah, I mean, what could be more meaningless than taking something out of context?

00:29:06.640 Turn the other cheek means, I guess we shouldn't have a military to protect us from evil people 0.98

00:29:13.580 who want to come and rape our daughters. 1.00

00:29:17.160 We shouldn't have a police force. 0.98

00:29:19.140 That's what the left has done.

00:29:20.820 They have taken, they've cherry picked some Scriptures, and they've created this insane

00:29:24.660 doctrine that says having a border is racist.

00:29:29.240 No, no, this is, look, this is shallow, sloppy thinking, and the devil uses it, and it works

00:29:34.840 on many Christians.

00:29:35.680 My point is, if you're one of those Christians that's going along with this, you shouldn't 1.00

00:29:39.800 not only just disagree with it, you need to get involved.

00:29:43.140 So I'll say the website again, it's lettertotheamericanchurch.com.

00:29:46.260 You can do a free screening at your church.

00:29:48.760 People need to begin discussing this, need to begin discussing, have you been guilty of

00:29:53.120 silence and inaction?

00:29:54.980 And in the last couple of pages of the Scripture, it says, who's going to be cast into the lake

00:29:58.500 of fire? 0.89

00:29:59.260 The cowardly.

00:30:00.380 That is a scary thing. 0.70

00:30:01.620 Courage is not extra credit Christianity.

00:30:03.760 Every one of us is called to live out our faith with bravery, with courage.

00:30:08.380 And we're living in a time of such madness.

00:30:10.580 Jack, you and your audience know this better than anybody.

00:30:12.580 If you're any kind of Christian, you need to be at the forefront of fighting against 1.00

00:30:17.760 evil in our time.

00:30:19.300 It is biblical, and it is something that God invites us into.

00:30:23.900 It's a joyous, glorious thing, but he doesn't force us.

00:30:27.380 And so it's a chilling moment because we all know the hour is very late.

00:30:31.280 If we don't get involved now, in Germany, by 1935, it was over.

00:30:35.780 Bonhoeffer knew it was over by the short window of opportunity.

00:30:39.800 This is it for America. 0.82

00:30:41.900 Letter to the American Church, the great Eric Metaxas.

00:30:44.900 I love the book.

00:30:45.700 I can't wait to watch the film, man.

00:30:57.540 Where is he?

00:30:58.820 Jack, I want to see you.

00:31:02.480 Great job, Jack.

00:31:03.900 Thank you.

00:32:25.640 I always say, by the way, throw one of these in the back of your car.

00:32:28.600 I was getting stories yesterday in the huge snowstorm in Philadelphia, New York, of people

00:32:33.240 getting stuck in their cars for four hours, five hours.

00:32:36.140 Even my aunt texted me, said that someone was stuck for seven hours in their car, couldn't

00:32:41.780 get out, no food, no water.

00:32:43.240 I said, look, that's why you throw one of these things in the back of your car.

00:32:47.440 All right.

00:32:47.700 We don't know what's going on yet with the Russian space lasers, but we do know that

00:32:51.960 the House has voted to impeach Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of Homeland Security.

00:32:58.040 Mike Davis joins us now.

00:32:59.320 Mike, where does this go next?

00:33:02.300 Because a lot of people were cheering this last night, and I said, look, I don't know

00:33:05.660 how this is going to play out in the Senate, but let's bring Mike Davis on because he knows

00:33:10.060 the answer to that.

00:33:11.700 I imagine that the Senate will set up some sort of an impeachment committee who will pretend

00:33:17.140 to look at these allegations and then not do very much with it and probably bury it.

00:33:23.600 They might have Republican support to get rid of this impeachment because we have the

00:33:29.560 uniparty in the Senate who's more concerned about sending our taxpayer money, $60 billion

00:33:38.500 to Ukraine rather than securing our border.

00:33:41.760 They proved that over and over.

00:33:43.020 So I can't imagine there's going to be much appetite in the United States Senate by either

00:33:48.480 party to do much about this Mayorkas in his obviously impeachable offenses where this guy 0.50

00:33:57.880 has violated his oath to protect our country, to enforce federal law.

00:34:03.120 He's actually willfully ignored it in order to import 10 million illegal migrants, illegal 0.97

00:34:10.320 immigrants into this country, many of them unvetted from dangerous places around the world. 1.00

00:34:16.120 So they're going to bring their crime, their murders, their rapes, their kidnappings, their 0.90

00:34:20.260 robberies, their carjackings.

00:34:21.780 They're going to bring their fentanyl and the resulting deaths.

00:34:25.300 Mayorkas absolutely should be impeached. 1.00

00:34:27.300 Well, and by the way, so we have this huge, this huge narrative that's going on right

00:34:31.620 now about a potential national security threat to the United States.

00:34:36.080 You know, they're making this out to be like Washington, D.C. is about to get blown up.

00:34:39.800 And I've sort of, you know, been joking.

00:34:41.460 They said, oh, did the Russians have space lasers, Russian space lasers?

00:34:44.320 Is that what's going on?

00:34:45.160 Because, of course, it's all coming from the same.

00:34:47.120 And look, you know, show me the report.

00:34:48.860 Right.

00:34:49.080 Fine.

00:34:49.280 But you got to, I got to say, it seems a little suspicious when all of this is coming

00:34:53.060 from the Ukraine spending guys at the time that we know that the House is saying that

00:34:57.380 they don't want to vote for this massive foreign aid package.

00:35:00.980 And you want to talk about national security threats.

00:35:03.100 How about 10,000 people coming across our border every day?

00:35:05.780 And then the government or government backed NGOs giving those people plane tickets and allowing

00:35:11.560 them onto airplanes into the interior of our country.

00:35:15.480 Gosh, what could go wrong?

00:35:16.900 You know, what could go wrong?

00:35:17.800 Yeah, exactly.

00:35:19.880 I mean, we're so, the D.C.

00:35:22.440 Uniparty is so focused on sending tens of billions of dollars to their defense contractors

00:35:29.740 in Ukraine that we've really taken our eye off the ball on the real national security

00:35:34.960 threats, including China and including our southern border.

00:35:39.460 Well, OK, that being said, though, let's go back to this aspect of the trial.

00:35:43.300 Does the Senate have to hold a trial once they're given articles of impeachment?

00:35:47.560 Is that required?

00:35:48.820 How does the rules work?

00:35:51.000 No, I mean, generally what they do, if they have impeachments for a president, they're

00:35:55.420 going to have a trial with the full Senate, right?

00:35:58.220 But when they have impeachments for cabinet secretaries or other officers, you can send

00:36:03.200 those to a committee, right?

00:36:04.580 You can have like a trial by committee and then they can make a recommendation to the

00:36:10.980 House.

00:36:11.220 They're not.

00:36:11.500 This is what they've done on federal judges in the past.

00:36:13.760 They're not.

00:36:14.500 I seriously doubt the Senate is going to hold a trial for the for the Mayorkas impeachment

00:36:21.500 with the full Senate.

00:36:22.480 I think that Schumer is going to understand that that would suck up a lot of their floor

00:36:27.380 time that they could be using on confirming their judges and, you know, spending money on

00:36:34.080 Ukraine and other things that are more important to the Democrats and frankly, the D.C.

00:36:38.320 Uniparty.

00:36:38.980 So I imagine that the Senate's going to come up with a way to bury this impeachment trial

00:36:44.780 as quickly as they can.

00:36:47.580 Well, and see, this is what I was saying last night, and I got a lot of flack for it, man.

00:36:50.660 I got a lot of flack because people were people were cheering.

00:36:53.520 People were popping the champagne bottles and, you know, really enjoying Fat Tuesday and

00:36:57.560 Mardi Gras and all of it.

00:36:58.860 And I said, look, I'm with you.

00:37:00.520 Great.

00:37:00.860 We're we you know, we impeach the guy.

00:37:02.560 Awesome.

00:37:02.920 But that doesn't mean there's automatically going to be a trial because it's not MAGA

00:37:09.480 that controls the Senate and it's not it's not even Republicans that control the Senate.

00:37:14.500 Mitch doesn't even control the Senate, which, by the way, I would point out that Mitch did

00:37:17.160 control the Senate when he presided over the both of the impeachments of President Donald

00:37:22.820 Trump.

00:37:23.460 And so this is this is a situation or I guess the, you know, the second one was as there

00:37:27.600 was a transition.

00:37:28.140 But this is a situation where they easily don't necessarily have to have a trial.

00:37:34.500 They can get out of this.

00:37:35.680 And so we can take this Pyrrhic victory and say, OK, we got that's great.

00:37:38.860 We impeached him and we got points on the board and, you know, we're we're painting them in

00:37:42.740 a bad light.

00:37:43.680 But what I'm saying is, is this actually points on the on the board or was it just something

00:37:48.220 cool that we did for the fans at home?

00:37:50.600 Well, you know, I actually think it was important that the House did this because, you know, if you're

00:37:55.300 a cabinet secretary, you don't want to be the first cabinet secretary in 150 years who's been

00:38:00.240 impeached because you failed to do your job.

00:38:02.080 You intentionally did not do your job.

00:38:04.520 You intentionally ignored federal law.

00:38:06.800 You intentionally violated federal law by mass releasing these illegal immigrants into our 1.00

00:38:12.240 country.

00:38:12.580 And this has created grave danger in our communities.

00:38:16.340 And it's overrun our cities, right?

00:38:18.980 These sanctuary cities who pretend like they wanted all these illegal immigrants, all of a 1.00

00:38:24.240 a sudden they don't.

00:38:25.060 I split my time between Colorado and D.C.

00:38:28.060 I'm out here in Colorado now.

00:38:29.520 I'll tell you that people in Denver are not happy that Denver's been overrun by illegal 0.99

00:38:34.640 immigrants, including Denver Health that's been overrun by illegal immigrants. 0.96

00:38:38.940 And now they're going to have to cut services to people around the Denver community, including

00:38:43.860 people who need the services the most, like, you know, black Americans and the Hispanic Americans

00:38:49.280 in these low income communities are the ones who are going to get hurt by these illegal

00:38:53.600 immigrants flooding into our country. 1.00

00:38:57.380 Well, and that's exactly right.

00:38:59.160 And so the way that I look at it and look, and look, I'm not trying to be a party pooper

00:39:03.100 here, folks.

00:39:03.700 And I agree, right?

00:39:05.080 It's great.

00:39:05.940 I think it's great.

00:39:06.560 But where my skepticism comes in is, look, Eric Holder, right?

00:39:11.340 Eric Holder was found in contempt in during the Obama administration.

00:39:16.280 And that was something that, you know, Republicans held up and said, look, we got it.

00:39:20.700 We held him in contempt.

00:39:23.340 But did it actually stop Eric Holder from doing anything?

00:39:26.700 Has this stopped the flow of illegals across our border?

00:39:30.500 That's you.

00:39:31.440 I want to look at the tangible effects that this is going to have for the American people

00:39:35.280 and for our country.

00:39:36.060 And that's that's why I'm trying to, you know, look, look, I want to celebrate, you

00:39:39.700 know, I want this guy to be booted and I want this guy dirtied up and muddied up for

00:39:45.380 political purposes, too, of course.

00:39:47.080 But I guess the reason that I'm trying to come to this with with a note of skepticism is

00:39:51.960 because I want to know if it's actually going to work.

00:39:55.200 Well, I look, I think it's important that they did this because I think it gives the House

00:40:00.080 more powers to investigate.

00:40:01.400 If you have an impeachment inquiry versus general oversight, you can get past executive

00:40:05.820 privilege and you don't have to have a legislative purpose with an impeachment inquiry versus

00:40:12.080 legislative oversight.

00:40:13.800 And it's also important to send a message to these leftists that there are going to

00:40:17.380 be consequences for your actions.

00:40:20.080 You know, Dwight, can they can they hold here?

00:40:21.920 Can they hold hearings?

00:40:24.560 Can they can that impeachment?

00:40:26.560 Can they hold hearings?

00:40:27.400 What do you mean that the House can there be an yeah, can the House hold?

00:40:31.400 You know, full just like the J6 committee, can we have hearings on Mayorkas that are run 0.98

00:40:36.160 in prime time?

00:40:38.060 Sure.

00:40:38.420 Why not?

00:40:39.320 Yeah, I mean, they could be great.

00:40:41.160 Look, we're going to we're going to continue our impeachment investigation or impeachment

00:40:45.720 inquiry.

00:40:46.160 We may add impeachment charges.

00:40:48.480 Sure, they can.

00:40:49.020 They could do that.

00:40:49.700 And they look, they need to make this front and center that that, you know, this illegal

00:40:54.540 immigration that Biden has done intentionally to open up our southern border and import

00:41:00.380 10 million illegal immigrants.

00:41:02.420 And it's election interference.

00:41:04.220 Mike, sorry, we're coming up on a quick break.

00:41:05.720 Let me let me put a pin in that right there. 1.00

00:41:07.240 We'll come right back with you and let you finish your thought, because this is important,

00:41:10.620 folks, impeaching a cabinet member hasn't been done 150 years.

00:41:17.280 I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:41:20.360 All right, Jack Posobiec back live, Human Events Daily, Mike Davis on.

00:41:25.840 Folks, the world is in flames.

00:41:28.080 Remember, we got Russian space lasers out there, Bidenomics, a complete and total disaster. 0.99

00:41:32.620 But it cannot and will not ruin my day.

00:41:33.980 Do you know why?

00:41:34.860 It is because I start every day with a hot America First cup of blackout coffee.

00:41:38.480 This coffee is 100% Americana.

00:41:41.140 Blackout coffee, 100% committed also to conservative values from sourcing the beans to the roasting

00:41:57.500 Go to blackoutcoffee.com slash poso and use promo code POSO20 for 20% off your first order.

00:42:03.740 Valentine's Day is today, folks.

00:42:05.720 You got the flowers, you got the chocolate.

00:42:07.520 Now get that special someone, the gift of being awake, not woke, with blackout coffee.

00:42:12.140 That's blackoutcoffee.com slash poso, blackoutcoffee.com slash poso,

00:42:16.180 promo code POSO20.

00:42:17.960 Going back to Mike Davis, Mike, you mentioned that Mayorkas, and of course, it is historic.

00:42:23.640 First guy, first cabinet member, 150 years to be impeached.

00:42:27.580 We've had judges.

00:42:28.280 We've had a couple of presidents.

00:42:29.800 Now we've got Mayorkas, first 150 years. 1.00

00:42:32.300 How do you think this affects him on a personal level?

00:42:35.800 I think this is going to affect him.

00:42:37.500 I think it's getting under his skin.

00:42:38.860 I think it would be embarrassing.

00:42:40.120 Look, regardless of what we think about Mayorkas, he actually has serious credentials.

00:42:44.400 He was the U.S. attorney for Clinton out in Los Angeles.

00:42:49.040 He was the director of citizen, one of the service bureaus within DHS under Obama.

00:42:57.060 Then he was the deputy secretary of DHS for Obama.

00:43:01.500 Now he's the secretary for Biden.

00:43:04.380 And, you know, he has a serious background, serious credentials.

00:43:07.660 And he's the first cabinet secretary in 150 years who's been impeached for failing to do his job for intentionally disregarding federal law.

00:43:18.300 So I can't imagine that that's a good thing for him and that he's proud of the fact that he's been impeached.

00:43:24.480 So he's impeached.

00:43:29.060 Let's let's go over to the lawfare section when it comes to President Trump.

00:43:33.660 We know that a number of these cases are going forward.

00:43:36.160 The big one, I think, presidential immunity.

00:43:37.900 Can you give us an update where that is?

00:43:39.460 Yeah, so the Supreme Court is deciding whether to halt these cases pending its review of whether a former president is immune from from prosecution by his successor based upon his official acts as the president of the United States.

00:43:59.140 We have we have immunity for both civil and criminal prosecution for members of Congress through the speech or debate clause in the Constitution.

00:44:08.220 Federal judges are also immune both civilly and criminally.

00:44:12.300 Right now, only the president, the president's only immune civilly because we've never had a president charged like President Biden and these Democrats have charged Trump four times with these bogus charges against him.

00:44:26.080 So now I think the Supreme Court is going to have to take this case.

00:44:30.660 Remember, even Jack Smith back in December said the Supreme Court had to take this case when Jack Smith was pushing the Supreme Court to skip the D.C.

00:44:40.260 Circuit and just take the case. 0.83

00:44:41.620 An extraordinary request by Jack Smith.

00:44:44.120 So I don't know how Jack Smith and the Biden Justice Department can turn around now, two months later, and say, oh, no, no, no, the Supreme Court can't take this case.

00:44:53.540 It's the D.C. Circuit decided.

00:44:55.980 So the Supreme Court should not take this case that he can't have it both ways.

00:44:59.920 The Supreme Court is going to have to take this case through the normal appellate process.

00:45:05.840 And that includes letting Trump go to the D.C.

00:45:08.440 Circuit and seeking en banc or full court review first.

00:45:12.500 And then they're going to decide and then Trump's going to file a cert petition.

00:45:16.440 So this is not the bottom line, Jack.

00:45:18.820 This this case with Jack Smith and D.C., the January 6th case is not going to get resolved before the presidential election.

00:45:26.440 By the way, we do have breaking news.

00:45:29.140 I apologize, Mike.

00:45:29.740 And I'll just I'll just say this on the quote unquote national security threat.

00:45:35.420 ABC News is now reporting.

00:45:37.300 I was sort of halfway joking earlier about the Russian space lasers.

00:45:41.580 They're saying that Russia is, quote unquote, planning to put nuclear weapons in space, not to drop them onto Earth, but rather possibly use against satellites.

00:45:54.260 Quote, it's very concerning and very sensitive, said one source who called it, quote, a big deal.

00:46:00.220 So that's where we got, folks, Russian space lasers, Russian nuclear space lasers.

00:46:05.760 Now, that's why we've got to pass this money for you, Ukraine.

00:46:10.360 Mike, something tells me, though, that when we have a situation, look, we know Russia is a nuclear threat. 0.85

00:46:14.980 Russia has always been a nuclear threat. 0.96

00:46:16.560 That's why President Trump has said that we should seek rapprochement with with them.

00:46:21.040 That's why he wanted to seek peace deals with North Korea.

00:46:23.740 If anybody remembers this stuff, this is why to, you know, encapsulate everything that you've said.

00:46:28.180 This is why they're running these bogus cases against him, because they don't want someone in there who wants peace with the world's nuclear powers.

00:46:37.620 Yeah, I mean, it sounds like we might have to take that 60 billion dollars that we're going to send to Ukrainian oligarchs and to our defense contractors in Ukraine.

00:46:46.320 And maybe we should send it to our space command or space force.

00:46:49.260 Right. I mean, if that if the threat is actually that this is the founder of the U.S. space force.

00:46:54.560 Yeah, I mean, this we need to sorry, guys, the bigger threat is Russia blowing up our satellites in space.

00:47:02.740 So Ukraine, sorry, you know, sorry, you're going to lose three Russian speaking provinces in eastern Ukraine.

00:47:08.400 But we need to defend our satellites.

00:47:10.440 So so we're going to spend our 60 billion dollars on Trump's space force instead of in Ukraine.

00:47:16.240 I mean, we really look at this stuff and and again, it's to your point, right?

00:47:22.700 We know the world is a place that has threats.

00:47:25.500 We know the world is a place where we have adversaries.

00:47:27.700 That's the entire point.

00:47:29.440 This is this.

00:47:30.080 I teach my kids about this.

00:47:31.600 I say, watch out for, you know, tricky people.

00:47:33.960 Watch out for people who come up and say they know me.

00:47:36.240 You know, they know your mom.

00:47:38.020 They know your dad.

00:47:38.720 And they should, you know, get in the car or something like this.

00:47:40.620 We know the world has threats.

00:47:42.460 We know the world is a dangerous place.

00:47:44.640 That doesn't mean that we panic.

00:47:46.200 And that certainly doesn't mean that you go along with every single neocon that tells you the only way to deal with these threats is through warfare, is through direct mobilization or proxy wars, supporting proxy wars overseas, whether it be in the Middle East, whether it be against Iran, whether it be in Eurasia, against Russia.

00:48:04.540 There are other ways to deal with these specific threats.

00:48:08.760 And sometimes, look, if you know the neighbors have a lot of guns, then maybe you should make friends with the neighbors or at least try to find a way to get along.

00:48:16.620 You know what I'm saying?

00:48:18.400 Yeah.

00:48:18.840 I mean, think about where we are with Ukraine.

00:48:20.920 We had President Obama put Vice President Biden in charge of Ukraine.

00:48:25.560 And Biden's went on the take, including $10 million from Burisma, allegedly.

00:48:30.880 You saw Putin smelling Biden's weakness and you saw Putin taking advantage of that and going into Crimea.

00:48:39.360 We had four years of peace and prosperity, four years of peace and prosperity under Trump in Ukraine.

00:48:46.160 You didn't see any aggression by China, by Russia, anywhere, really.

00:48:50.480 And so then Biden's back and Russia wants to take the rest of Ukraine.

00:48:55.140 I would say to these people who are with their Ukraine flags in their profiles and in their yards, if you want to bring peace and prosperity to the world, if you want to make sure that we don't have bad actions.

00:49:06.900 Running out of time.

00:49:07.720 We need him back 100%.

00:49:08.900 Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay it short.

00:49:11.380 We need him back 100%.

00:49:12.380 We need him back 100%.
