Trump now faces a 34-count indictment, and a key witness is expected to testify tomorrow about the Fulton County DA s romantic relationship with one of her top prosecutors. CBS News has learned that what s described as a serious national security threat is related to the launch of a Russian rocket last week carrying a top-secret military payload that is now in orbit.
00:00:50.520Trump now faces a 34-count indictment.
00:00:53.640Judge Juan Merchant also denied Trump's motion to dismiss the Hush Money case.
00:00:58.400So as we know, that jury selection will be beginning on March 25th.
00:01:02.240And now this is just one of the four criminal trials that Trump faces, and he has continued to deny any wrongdoings.
00:01:09.740Fulton County officials preparing for every outcome in a major hearing on the Georgia election indictment.
00:01:15.260A key witness is expected to testify tomorrow about the Fulton County DA's romantic relationship with one of her top prosecutors.
00:01:21.700And now, more than half the remaining defendants in the indictment are signed on to this motion to remove them over what they say is a conflict of interest.
00:01:30.920You said in the affidavit that you roughly shared travel, though, correct?
00:01:51.660CBS News has learned that what's described as a serious national security threat is related to the launch of a Russian rocket last week carrying a top-secret military payload that is now in orbit.
00:02:02.620Today's parade was wrapping up when gunfire came out of nowhere, and here's what we know right now.
00:03:34.660And yet what's interesting to me is that the individuals involved in this were detained as of the time of this show.
00:03:43.100And our producers here at Human Events have been looking at this minute by minute, have still not been charged, even though we can see the video of fans, you know, toxic masculinity at work again here, chasing down, tackling one of the shooters.
00:03:57.080Right there on screen, we can all see this, and yet the person hasn't been charged yet.
00:04:02.180Now, I understand, you know, perhaps this person was running away.
00:04:05.440Perhaps this person wasn't directly involved.
00:04:07.900Okay, but you'd think that by 24 hours later, an event that has literally hundreds of witnesses, if not thousands, cameras from every media agency, cameras from all over the world involved.
00:04:20.900You can't put any charges out in 24 hours.
00:04:23.360You can't put the identities out of the people that were involved in this thing.
00:05:05.380There's literally a map, if we can get this up, map break, that Google users have made of residents to know which gangs control which areas of Kansas City.
00:05:16.380Kansas City had its number one deadliest year on record just last year, the year that ended just a few weeks ago.
00:06:02.320And by the way, President Trump launched an operation called Operation Legend in Kansas City to stop this.
00:06:09.800Joe Biden shut down that operation on day one of his administration.
00:06:14.560Representative Josh Shriver from Michigan joins us next.
00:06:18.860Ladies and gentlemen, one of the best ways that you can support us here at Human Events and the work that we do is subscribing to us on our Rumble channel.
00:09:30.540They're not telling us anything about what happened here.
00:09:32.380When I look at the situation going on at our southern border, when I look at the situation as pertains to, you know,
00:09:40.640we've just had, obviously, the first cabinet secretary impeached in 150 years over the conduct of this administration
00:09:48.160as pertains to what's going on at the border, the mass migration, the open borders.
00:09:53.760Clearly, this is not a threat that is only taken seriously by a few people.
00:09:59.860It's something that's taken very seriously all the way up to the House of Representatives.
00:10:03.760So when I posted this image of, you know, highlighting this issue and you, you know, posted your essentially a graph talking about it,
00:10:13.420why was it that you chose to highlight this and why do you think this is something that affects not only our country, but the area that you represent?
00:10:22.460Well, there's numerous instances of Democrats talking about replacement migration, its effects, the demographic changes,
00:10:34.740how that essentially changes the identity of the country, the voting blocks and the ruling class,
00:10:43.580and essentially keeps them in power at this stage.
00:10:46.200And so I was alluding to the fact that our demographics are being shifted in an intentional manner to change our demographics
00:10:55.240and essentially secure power for the current regime.
00:12:05.920The white population is declining for the first time in history in America, while the number of multiracial Americans have more than doubled.
00:12:13.840So we live in a country where the demographics are changing.
00:13:24.200Now, this is confusing to me because when, when I made my post and you retweeted it there, that I was told that this was a fringe conspiracy theory, that it's not happening, that it's not true.
00:13:38.180And yet I hear, I hear people like Nancy Pelosi saying that this is happening.
00:13:42.780And she's talking about the political shifts specifically that will come as a result of this demographic change.
00:13:50.200I'm seeing CNN, I'm seeing Anderson Cooper, I'm seeing MSNBC, I'm seeing a number of Democrats talk about this.
00:15:09.040RFK also, by the way, looks like he's taking a significant amount of voters away from Joe Biden.
00:15:15.100We also know that there's a significant amount of voters in Michigan, particularly the Dearborn area, where they refuse to meet with the Biden campaign.
00:15:21.860A lot of Muslim leaders saying they refuse to meet with him, though, that support, not necessarily going to Trump, but also, you know, not going to Biden either because they're upset about his conduct or his support, I should say, of the conduct of the war in between Israel and Gaza.
00:15:35.700And so this, this idea that it's, it's politically charged, and we are in an election year, and the fact of the matter is that Michigan, look, you know, here on Human Events Daily, we talk about the importance of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania predominantly on this program, because I really do think those are the bellwethers of the country and going to be the bellwethers of the election.
00:15:54.600Whether we go towards a, you know, Democrat win or Republican win, it's really going to come down to this.
00:15:59.720So I couldn't agree with you more that Gretchen Whitmer is clearly using this situation, blowing it up, something that obviously a lot of Democrats talk about all the time.
00:16:08.320Joanne Reid talks about it almost every single night, but they're looking at it to say, all right, we've got a way to try to drive these votes away from Trump, drive votes towards, you know, maybe towards their preferred candidate,
00:16:18.680because they realize that they have nothing they can actually run on, they have nothing they can actually support.
00:16:26.140And if I remember correctly, Gretchen Whitmer is someone who's actually been talked about a few times as a potential running mate for Joe Biden.
00:16:34.820Yeah, she has been. As far as how this has impacted me, you know, I've gotten countless calls, texts, letters, and emails from within my district and all over the country in support of my courage to stand for what's true.
00:16:46.840And if you're interested in supporting me, you can visit joshshriver.com to learn how to join the fight and stand with me.
00:16:57.620No, I think that's right. And we've got a little bit more time with you after this.
00:17:01.380We've got one break coming up because I would like to ask more about what the response has been.
00:17:04.880Obviously, we know publicly the Michigan State House has come out, a lot of Michigan Republicans, mostly Michigan Democrats, come out against this.
00:17:13.040But at the same time, what strikes me as and this is just where where I come down on it.
00:17:18.620You know, I'm a guy who's from Philadelphia area originally.
00:17:21.940And, you know, we saw these changes happening as I was growing up and we saw the rise of crime.
00:17:26.620We saw the rise of violence and the fact that our elected leaders wouldn't talk about it.
00:17:30.120And if you brought it up that you were you were branded with some, you know, some slur and they said, you know, oh, you're not bringing that up because, you know, because you actually care about your community.
00:17:40.000You're doing it because of some, you know, some phobia or something.
00:17:42.860And I said, no, I actually like my neighborhood and I like my town.
00:17:45.440And I like being able to live with my family and live in the community that my family has lived in for a very long time since we came to this country from Poland.
00:17:54.000And we love where we live and we don't like these these changes.
00:17:58.040We don't like the rise in crime that's going on.
00:18:44.480Jack Prasovic back live, Human Events Daily.
00:18:49.220If you ever had a question with somebody, a conversation with someone, and the next thing you know, you're getting ads for products that match exactly what you were talking about.
00:18:56.440Well, between big government, tech, corporate America, and criminals, your privacy is compromised 24-7.
00:19:01.680It's on top of the side effects from radiation that the cell phone companies swear is totally safe.
00:19:06.160And brain-numbing effects of social media.

00:19:54.000We're back now with State Representative Josh Shriver of Michigan.
00:19:57.460So, Representative, I looked up during the break cities by homicide rate in the world.
00:20:05.240The most recent statistics that I have in front of me from, I believe this is from JSTOR and others, say that the city of Detroit's homicide rate, based on the entire world, out of cities in the entire world, ranks at 23, the 23rd most violent city, most deadly city on the face of the planet.
00:20:28.540And when I saw this attack on you, this response that you got, people claimed that it was violent.
00:20:36.300And so I look back at this and I say, wait a minute, is it tweets, is it ideas that are causing the violence and causing the bodies to stack up in the city of Detroit?
00:20:50.180Turning Point's holding a big event there just before the convention, which will be in Milwaukee.
00:20:55.560And, you know, we're holding this event in the 23rd most deadly city on the face of the planet.
00:21:01.820So you tell me, State Representative, what is driving the violence in Detroit, and is it tweets?
00:21:09.120I mean, I haven't seen any evidence of tweets driving violence in Detroit.
00:21:12.880I've been told by Speaker Tate that the reason why he's punishing me and disenfranchising all 90,000 constituents in my district is because he doesn't feel safe with me.
00:23:07.680Visiting JoshSchreiber.com is one way to start that process.
00:23:12.060And it's going to take a movement for sure.
00:23:13.820What is your message to people who say that, you know, basically what I was saying earlier, that say you're not concerned about the changes in your community.
00:23:25.880You're not doing this out of good faith.
00:23:27.700You're not doing this because you want to set a good example.
00:23:31.860You just hate people who look different from you.
00:23:34.520You just hate people who talk different from you.
00:24:23.680Of course, you know, Lent is something that we're in right now.
00:24:26.520I've even said, funny, not in relation to this, but I actually said what I'm giving up for Lent this year is that I'm going to be I'm going to try to be nice to people on Twitter.
00:24:34.460And so, you know, no, no negative tweets, no being mean to anybody, you know, regardless of how anybody attacks me.
00:24:44.020We're going to do no screen Sundays as a way of sacrifice and personal growth and as a way of trying to become closer with God as we're in this season.
00:24:52.700Because, of course, that is exactly what we're called to do.
00:24:56.020Remember, Christ, when he died for our sins, even prior to that, this was God bringing himself low, humbling himself to come into, come into the world, come into creation in the lowliest of ways, face false accusations, face persecution all the way up to and including the death penalty itself,
00:25:17.360which he gladly undertook for the purpose of this of sacrifice for the forgiveness of all of our sins.
00:25:26.080And so, you know, I agree with you when I when I look at a situation like that, we are called absolutely to believe that all others are God's children.
00:25:33.540And when we are given positions of power, whether it be, you know, look, I got a microphone, but you're an elected leader.
00:25:39.440You know, we are called to look out for other members of the flock, look out for other members of the community.
00:25:46.740And from my perspective, I think that's what the Easter season is really all about.
00:25:51.020And as Christians, that's what we're called to do, isn't it?
00:25:55.980Christ and the 12 apostles were all heinously tortured and murdered and would be an extreme failure in the eyes of the world.
00:26:06.700But we live in the world. We're not of the world. And we're called to a higher standard.
00:26:11.260And so as we seek first the kingdom, we can trust that all things shall be added on to us.
00:26:15.300And if we're truly walking in the path of Christ in this world that's increasingly dark, then we should expect similar fates and be willing to stand for our faith in Christ unto death, unto torture, unto defamation.
00:26:31.500And that's something that empowers me every single day.
00:26:34.580It's something that my life has been completely changed around.
00:26:38.080But I'd love to come back on and share more about my testimony and how I came to Christ when I was in college and the 180 that God has done with my life.
00:26:45.200It's a beautiful thing. And I'm just prayerful that people would would give their lives to Jesus and accept them as their Lord and Savior and believe that he rose from the dead.
00:26:57.420And it's that easy to begin your journey. And after that, it's not easy, but his yoke is easy.
00:27:02.980And so there's definitely another in the fire as we go through our Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego moments.
00:27:11.260There is no lion bigger than any den that we could ever be thrown into.
00:27:17.920And so there's confidence in the midst, even though it's challenging at times.
00:27:21.000Well, there's power in the blood, of course. And we were told, right, we were told that this is how the world would respond to the believers.
00:27:29.900We were told we were warned. We were given that message that and as you say, the you know, the it's so funny because we actually we we just had Eric Metaxas on yesterday.
00:27:40.280And he had had this has this great new documentary out called The Letter to the American Church.
00:27:44.820And you were talking about this idea of of Romans 13 and sort of like Romans 13 Christians that, you know, you should you should always follow whatever the government says.
00:27:54.320You should always do whatever the government tells you to that we're you know, we're all we're all subject.
00:27:59.180We all must submit. And and I responded to this, you know, you know, this this strain of thought in Christianity or a lot of Western Christianity in the American church where they say, oh, we should just go along with whatever the prevailing wisdom is.
00:28:11.600And I said, well, it's certainly not what the apostles did at the time.
00:28:14.320The apostles didn't submit to the Roman Empire when the when the Romans said you're not allowed to worship, when the Romans said you aren't allowed to congregate, when the Romans said you're not you, you must, you know, you must apostatize yourselves and you must tell, you know, you must denounce Christ.
00:28:29.340They refused. Every single one of them refused up to and including in almost every single case, their own deaths.
00:28:36.180They all refused to do it. And they all went to the death saying that we saw this man rise from the dead.
00:28:41.360And that is the story of Easter. And if that isn't one of the greatest living and historic testaments that we have throughout all of history, that all of the apostles tortured and killed refused to refuse to review Christ.
00:28:55.300Not every single one of them, because of course, the Romans wanted them to say just one of them to say this was OK.
00:29:01.480We made it up. We were just trying to get attention. You know, this isn't real.
00:29:05.420We're just opposing the throne. No, not a single one of them did so.
00:29:10.120And I've always said that because they did that and because of their sacrifice after Christ's sacrifice,
00:29:16.460this is the reason the church and Christianity were able to spread to the extent that it did.
00:29:21.520And America is a blessing that requires maintenance.
00:29:25.680The difference between the Roman Empire and our American empire is the availability and the potentiality for those in the church to get involved.
00:29:38.080And that's something that that is the bedrock of why I'm here right now is because God called me to represent him in government, regardless of personal expense.
00:29:47.240And so for me right now, to be going through what I'm going through joyfully is something that God is able to give us as as believers.
00:29:58.200And so the separation of church and state is to keep the state from infringing upon the church.
00:30:02.920The church has every freedom and is actually it's necessary for us to respond to God's call, get engaged, whether it's at the precinct level, library boards, school boards, state level, federal level, all the above.
00:30:16.520We need to be representing God and government to reflect his excellency and his beauty in our communities.
00:30:23.600Otherwise, there will be a God void that will inevitably be filled with godless individuals that will create a godless nation, a godless state and godless communities where there will be death and destruction.
00:30:36.300And that's something that I can't stand by and just allow to happen.
00:30:39.760Amen. Rep. Josh Shriver from Michigan. Powerful words in this Easter season.
00:30:44.740Tell everybody again, what's that website?
00:30:52.100Josh Shriver. Have you back on, sir. Thank you. God bless. And Godspeed.
00:31:01.520Jack, where is Jack? Where is Jack? Where is Jack? Where is he? Jack, I want to see you.
00:31:11.300Great job, Jack. Thank you. What a job you do.
00:31:14.580You know, we have an incredible thing. We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting policemen.
00:31:22.840Are they intentionally sexualizing our children and stealing their innocence?
00:31:53.120And again, this is depicting children. This is supposed to be kids.
00:31:56.480Well, honestly, I didn't even know that transition from female to male was an option until I was on social media and began being exposed to those type of communities.
00:32:09.080You've never seen an 18-month-old masturbating?
00:32:13.340Have you seen any sexually explicit drag shows marketed as all ages for kids that you would denounce or think that are a problem and that you want to distance yourself from?
00:33:02.940The history behind this is far darker than most Americans understand.
00:33:12.980Do you think the big tech companies at this point are essentially aiding and abetting human traffickers and people who are working to exploit children?
00:33:24.860If you don't want to hear it in a school board meeting, why should children be able to check it out of the school system?
00:33:31.140There is misinformation presented that somehow that we're doing surgery on minors or even children, and that simply is not true.
00:33:38.340How old were you when they gave you a double and stuck with me?
00:33:41.500It was a month after my 13th birthday.
00:33:43.720Ultimately, we're going to talk about are they going to give the counselors going to give them medication there at school without their parents' permission?
00:33:49.160I mean, I think we're leading towards an absurd and horrific time.
