00:00:30.000 This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.

00:00:39.640 A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.

00:00:46.280 This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.

00:00:49.180 Deliver us from evil.

00:00:50.460 And did the White House get the report before the report was made public?

00:00:54.600 We did provide a draft of the report to the White House Counsel's Office

00:00:58.060 and members of the president's personal counsel team for their review.

00:01:01.120 No, I understand.

00:01:02.020 And did the White House then, once they got the report before it went public,

00:01:05.200 did the White House try to weigh in with your investigation on elements of that report

00:01:09.280 and frankly get the report changed?

00:01:11.960 They did request certain edits and changes to the draft report.

00:01:15.460 February 8th, the White House questioned,

00:01:17.660 Mr. President, why did you share classified information with your ghostwriter?

00:01:21.760 The President, I did not share classified information.

00:01:25.380 I did not share it.

00:01:26.420 I guarantee I did not.

00:01:29.100 That's not true, is it, Mr. Hurd?

00:01:31.100 That is inconsistent with the findings based on the evidence in my report.

00:01:35.300 Yes, it's a lie.

00:01:36.180 It's just what regular people would say, right?

00:01:38.800 Yeah, all right.

00:01:39.520 It's a bloodbath.

00:01:40.440 There's wide layoffs and they really go farther, I think, than many people at the RNC were expected.

00:01:48.120 We're told that they announced many of these layoffs yesterday in an internal email.

00:01:52.400 I think the depth of these just underscore how much the new leadership wants to overhaul the committee.

00:01:58.180 Today, Trump's legal team filing a motion to delay his New York criminal hush money trial,

00:02:04.040 which is currently set to begin March 25th, just two weeks away.

00:02:08.280 Trump argues the trial should wait for the United States Supreme Court to weigh in on his presidential immunity claim.

00:02:14.400 You know, this guy's going to win, by the way.

00:02:16.800 This guy's going to win.

00:02:17.660 I've never seen people behind someone like this before.

00:02:21.240 I've never been to rallies like that before.

00:02:23.580 For anyone, Obama didn't even have rallies like that.

00:02:26.780 This morning, police in Charleston, South Carolina, tell NBC News they are aware of the death of a former Boeing employee turned whistleblower.

00:02:35.220 62-year-old John Barnett found dead on Friday from what the coroner calls an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

00:02:42.380 Haiti, where the unelected prime minister, Ariel Henry, has announced he'll resign once a transitional council is established.

00:02:51.240 He made the announcement after Caribbean leaders, U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken and others held an emergency meeting in Jamaica to discuss the crisis in Haiti,

00:03:01.440 where armed groups launched an uprising last week against Henri.

00:03:05.440 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, live here in Washington, D.C.

00:03:13.180 Today is March 12, 2024, Anno Domini.

00:03:16.900 Matt Gaetz, Congressman Gaetz of Florida, just had a stunning admission or received, elicited a stunning admission from U.S. military officials in Washington just a few minutes ago.

00:03:32.980 This is a really stunning admission, and we're going to get the clip for you as soon as possible, but you need to understand what's happening here.

00:03:43.960 And we've seen the unrest and the violence and the rioting in Haiti.

00:03:48.560 Remember, three years ago, the president of Haiti was assassinated.

00:03:53.980 Haiti's never held an election since then.

00:03:55.980 The guy took power, then resigned.

00:04:00.460 There's been this massive prison break.

00:04:02.840 The gangs are running rampant throughout the streets.

00:04:06.120 But the media will tell you that, hold on, hold on, we're not allowed to talk about cannibalism because they say, well, you don't have any direct evidence of cannibalism, do you?

00:04:20.680 To which I say, to which I say, the media absolutely should go and fact check this.

00:04:26.940 And I believe firmly, and I will even help to fund this, that all media fact checkers from CNN, MSNBC, Facebook, Instagram, all of the fact checkers should go down to Haiti right now.

00:04:45.080 We can send them, we can work together on this to provide, you know, whether they need boats or ships or whatever it is, and you get all the fact checkers to Haiti as soon as possible to be able to verify these claims one way or the other for the good of the world.

00:05:01.240 But folks, Matt Gaetz went out there and he said that he has, and we're going to have Gavin Wax on very soon, anticipates, the U.S. military anticipates mass migration from Haiti to America, huge refugee crisis that could come out of this specifically to the state of Florida.

00:05:21.360 The Coast Guard is currently trying to get ready for this, but they believe that they don't have enough resources, and Gaetz is saying that they're actually requesting U.S. Navy ships to try to block this incredible human wave that's about to come out of Haiti while they're fleeing this violence down there.

00:05:41.260 And we all know what the Biden administration is going to do.

00:05:43.980 They're going to want to bring as many people in as possible because, well, that's just what they do.

00:05:49.760 Notice how, even though they're much closer to Cuba, none of them want to go to Cuba.

00:05:54.760 For some reason, they all have to come to Florida.

00:05:57.920 Funny how that works.

00:05:59.680 Folks, this is what's going on in our world right now.

00:06:03.640 This is what's happening, affecting our lives right now.

00:06:07.220 Cannibals on our shores.

00:06:09.880 The only person who sent them back is Donald J. Trump.

00:06:13.300 Gavin Wax joins us next.

00:06:14.140 Ladies and gentlemen, one of the best ways that you can support us here at Human Events and the work that we do is subscribing to us on our Rumble channel.

00:06:56.760 If you were part of the Human Events Daily audience, you know exactly what's going on with the U.S. dollar.

00:07:01.300 Putin himself said it during the Tucker Carlson interview that we've seen over 100 million times that we are printing too much money and the weaponization of the dollar was a mistake.

00:07:11.000 The consequences of overprinting could be catastrophic for your family's future.

00:07:14.460 And with 401k accounts losing 25% of their value in the past two to three years, why would you continue to risk your personal savings?

00:07:59.260 Let's protectwithposo.com or call them 844-577-POSO.

00:08:03.620 All right, guys, I'm told that we now have that clip.

00:08:06.280 Matt Gaetz with the Southcom commander there in Congress earlier today.

00:08:12.000 Let's play that.

00:08:13.580 So what's the difference between Haiti and a failed state?

00:08:15.760 It's telling, right?

00:08:21.880 We can't really identify them because the gangs are in charge.

00:08:24.740 The government has been thrown out.

00:08:26.120 And as a Florida man, I'm deeply concerned about this wave of people that we're about to have, that we are having, coming from Haiti. 1.00

00:08:33.500 And it will accelerate because I've gone to Opelaka and I've spent time with the folks that are engaged in Operation Vigilant Century.

00:08:39.920 And they say the number one push factor that drives these Haitians into Broward County, Palm Beach County, where they don't disperse throughout the country. 0.99

00:08:47.080 They stay in southeast Florida.

00:08:49.380 That driving factor is the deterioration of conditions in Haiti.

00:08:52.900 So what are we doing to prepare for that wave and to ensure that these people are not paroled into the United States, as the administration has done with people on the southern border, but instead are repatriated back at the dock at Port-au-Prince?

00:09:12.740 Congressman, we're doing a number of things to ensure that we're keeping track of the situation and we're prepared.

00:09:17.800 At the moment, we have not yet seen large numbers, what we would characterize as a maritime mass migration.

00:09:25.020 Do you anticipate a mass migration, though?

00:09:26.780 We are alert to that possibility.

00:09:29.000 I think you're right that the driving conditions in Haiti could very well press more people.

00:09:35.340 So we've recently approved some additional assistance that we can provide to the Coast Guard.

00:09:41.960 I think that that has now fully been approved.

00:09:44.680 We'll be providing notifications if we haven't already.

00:09:47.800 To provide additional shipboard assistance.

00:09:49.900 Because I've talked to the Coast Guard, and what they say would really support them would be more naval vessels, would be DOD support.

00:09:57.420 And because I think you correctly said that there is an anticipated mass migration here, there are specific legal authorities that we can access, that I would implore you to access.

00:10:07.080 Specifically, George W. Bush signed Executive Order 13276.

00:10:13.560 And in that executive order, there is the ability for any president to designate an anticipated mass migration and then get gray hull naval vessels into the Straits of Florida to deter that migration and then to repatriate those people before they get to Florida.

00:10:30.460 You think the beating of drums is going to keep you up at night?

00:10:34.840 How about the smell of burning flesh?

00:10:38.440 How about the tire necklaces?

00:10:41.020 You think the summer of love was big?

00:10:44.560 This would be light work.

00:10:45.620 That would be light work.

00:10:47.360 Sunday afternoon at the picnic compared to something like this.

00:10:50.760 The type of gangs that obviously would be seeking to infiltrate the United States through this.

00:10:56.300 Warlord Barbecue, by the way, sending them all up.

00:10:59.400 It's completely insane.

00:11:02.180 Gavin Wax is our guest here.

00:11:03.760 Gavin, help me try to make some sense of what's going on and why it is that the Biden administration just doesn't even really seem to care about this one way or the other.

00:11:14.680 They're treating our maritime borders just as badly as they've treated our southern border.

00:11:20.740 Well, thank you for having me on, Jack.

00:11:23.200 And anyone who studies history such as yourself knows that demographics is destiny.

00:11:27.800 And obviously the left, the cunning left, the manipulative left, they understand this.

00:11:32.100 They've been meddling in the affairs of Haiti for some time now.

00:11:36.100 You can read up on the history of the Clintons in Haiti and their associated left-wing NGOs.

00:11:41.720 The instability there, one can make a strong argument is by design, but it's also certainly rooted in the history, the very bloody, very barbaric history that Haiti has had since its independence from France in the late 1700s.

00:11:58.500 But a crisis there is not to go to waste.

00:12:01.260 And if it could lead to a mass migration of Haitians into the United States, of course, Joe Biden and his left-wing regime will welcome it. 0.99

00:12:08.320 They welcome that impending invasion.

00:12:10.420 It just adds to the current inflow that they are overseeing on our southern border with Mexico.

00:12:16.020 So more the merrier.

00:12:17.000 If they cross the Rio Grande or if they come via boat or via, you know, plane, whatever it may be, they're all welcome.

00:12:23.940 They all want them to flood the country, to completely change our country demographically, culturally, economically and otherwise. 0.54

00:12:30.480 And this crisis in Haiti is the latest example of how the left will take advantage of it to advance their own ends, which is the complete, you know, transformation of this country.

00:12:41.180 So it's an absolute shame what's happening there.

00:12:44.520 It's very predictable what's happening there.

00:12:46.580 And hopefully there could be some peace there.

00:12:49.480 The cannibal gangs could be put down.

00:12:51.540 I don't necessarily know if this is the United States' prerogative to get involved.

00:12:55.560 Maybe you can make an argument on the Monroe Doction that we should.

00:12:58.840 But the history of Haiti is a bloody one, and it seems to be continuing along the same path that it has taken since its independence.

00:13:06.300 There's no question for that, Gavin, though I would say under President Trump, I'll put it this way, or just under a serious president, I do think that there is –

00:13:17.440 Now, obviously, I don't think what's going on in Haiti is currently threatening the United States in any meaningful way other than that which we just delineated, essentially, that is this mass human wave coming across, coming to our shores.

00:13:31.100 We remember the Cuban refugee crisis was not that long ago.

00:13:34.660 In fact, by the way, that's why the camps at Guantanamo Bay were originally built.

00:13:40.580 And in fact, a lot of those Haitians may even try to make their way to Guantanamo Bay. 1.00

00:13:46.660 This has happened multiple times over the past few decades to try to claim asylum at Guantanamo Bay, given that it's actually U.S.

00:13:55.200 So it's only about 100 nautical miles from the coast of Haiti.

00:13:58.440 It's very, very close.

00:13:59.860 Cuba's not in the way, et cetera, et cetera.

00:14:02.240 And so I suppose the way that I look at it, though, is that under a serious president, we should actually care about what's going on in the Caribbean because that's our sea.

00:14:14.140 This shouldn't be something where the Chinese who are investing all throughout the Caribbean, by the way, should be allowed to have any sway one way or another other than they can conduct their commerce. 0.93

00:14:25.340 They can use our ports.

00:14:26.380 But that's about it.

00:14:27.220 The Panama Canal should never have been turned back over.

00:14:31.060 That is America's by right and, of course, by origin.

00:14:35.200 And it's just very silly the way that we've mismanaged our affairs where we'll care so much about the borders of some far off region or some country that we're getting in the nose of another of the great powers.

00:14:49.640 And yet we care so little about the affairs of our own neighborhood.

00:14:53.920 That those are all fair points.

00:14:57.140 I certainly have far more interest in what happens in Haiti than I do in the Donbass or Ukraine as far as it relates to American foreign policy interests.

00:15:06.660 But I think the way that we've handled some of these failed states and I think Congressman Gates was was correct in describing Haiti as a failed state. 0.99

00:15:14.800 By every objective measure, it is a failed state.

00:15:17.800 But the way to handle these failed states is not through the typical NGO playbook.

00:15:23.600 I mean, these places need the rule of a strong man effectively.

00:15:27.880 They need a strong leader there to keep order, to keep things civilized and to keep these cannibal gangs in the case of Haiti at bay. 0.99

00:15:36.760 That's how thin the difference between the civilization and barbarism is in in many parts of the third world and many of these failed states.

00:15:46.400 And we're not going to need a new welfare states to take on to the American to tack on to the American federal budget.

00:15:55.620 I don't think just plowing money into Ukraine is going to make anything better.

00:15:59.280 I think if anything, it's made things worse.

00:16:00.860 It was another site of massive corruption, massive grift, a lot of criminality, human trafficking, all sorts of societal ills that are elites perpetrated in Haiti. 0.67

00:16:12.280 I think a lot of that is caused because of a expansive foreign aid program.

00:16:17.180 So while I fully understand that we have, you know, some interest in keeping Haiti stable, especially to prevent if it could prevent a mass migration wave into Florida and other U.S. states,

00:16:27.500 I think the way it needs to be approached is far more akin to how Bukele stabilized El Salvador than how many of these left wing NGOs, you know, under the guise of human rights and democracy have failed to stabilize or civilize any parts of the world.

00:16:42.660 You know, I would like to see an Eric Prince or a Bukele stabilize Haiti. 1.00

00:16:46.780 I think Eric Prince has stated he could do it with about 4000 men.

00:16:49.740 I believe him.

00:16:50.560 I think that would be a much more cost effective approach to get that to get that country in line and make sure that boats don't start, you know, coming up to the port of Miami and flooding South Florida.

00:17:03.360 You know, it's very interesting, Gavin.

00:17:05.160 I mentioned Bukele yesterday as well.

00:17:07.080 I said, look, we've got we've got a couple options at other governments that we could look at throughout the hemisphere.

00:17:12.600 We can see the record of Bukele.

00:17:16.180 We can see an area that was controlled by crime, controlled by gangs, controlled by cartels that have been completely cleaned up cities that have been cleaned up families that are able to walk around in those great cities that are becoming greater day by day.

00:17:29.600 And then you see Haiti, which, you know, not not far away in the same ballpark right there with warlord cannibals, occultism, voodoo running rampant throughout the streets. 0.85

00:17:42.980 I said yesterday it's a demonic uprising.

00:17:45.840 It's clearly a demonic uprising.

00:17:47.460 If anyone's seen any of this, there's no government to speak of.

00:17:51.000 And remember, to be a failed country, you would have to have had a country to begin with.

00:17:56.020 This is this is a region.

00:17:57.880 It's clearly a failed state.

00:17:59.100 I have no idea what the specific term for it would be.

00:18:02.160 Other than that, you're seeing something akin to Somalia.

00:18:05.280 And as the United States, it is our goal to protect our citizens as much as possible while they are at risk.

00:18:14.940 In any way, stay tuned.

00:18:15.780 Come back with more Gavin Wax.

00:18:19.960 They talk about influences.

00:18:21.880 These are influences.

00:18:23.740 And they're friends of mine.

00:18:26.160 Jack Prusovic.

00:18:27.660 Where's Jack?

00:18:28.280 Jack.

00:18:29.100 He's got a great job.

00:18:34.080 All right, Jack Prusovic back live.

00:18:35.460 Human Events Daily.

00:18:36.480 Well, folks, the world, and in fact, the very hemisphere is quickly descending into chaos.

00:18:42.940 The next medical crisis is just around the corner.

00:18:45.900 Who knows if the cannibals washing up at the shores, what kind of bugs and viruses they'll be bringing with them. 1.00

00:18:52.940 Now, whether it's another pandemic or something closer to home, preparedness is no longer an option.

00:18:58.720 It's a necessity.

00:18:59.720 That's where the wellness company comes in from something innocent and natural like a tick bite to COVID to the next bioweapon you manufactured in a lab.

00:19:07.260 The wellness company's medical emergency kit is what you need to be prepared.

00:19:10.900 It contains life-saving medications like ivermectin, emergency antibiotics, a Z-Pak, so much more, as well as a guidebook to aid in the safe use of these life-saving medications.

00:19:19.780 The wellness company and their doctors, you know, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. James Thorpe, Dr. Harvey Reich, Dr. Drew Pinsky, Dr. Robert Seek, so many more are medical professionals that you can trust.

00:19:31.820 The wellness company and their medical professionals that you can trust, and their medical emergency kits are the gold standard of keeping you safe.

00:19:49.160 I love mine.

00:19:50.040 When we travel, we're definitely going to grab ours anytime we go down to the Florida area anytime soon.

00:19:55.280 Again, that's TWC.Health slash Poso, promo code Poso, for 10% off.

00:19:59.700 Check out the site.

00:20:00.300 Prescription information, it's all there.

00:20:02.960 Gavin, when we think about our country and we think about the things that are actually important to us, it's very strange to me that we use so many of these monikers and so many of these ideas and ideals that are given to us from the neocons, from the Nikki Haley's of the world, and yet the voters completely rejected that, as you had said for so long.

00:20:24.200 But it seems, though, as though the party, the RNC itself did not want to let go of these ideas, and we've just heard now that at the RNC headquarters, which where Ronna McDaniel is no more, that there is a massive bloodbath that's going on from, really from the new RNC chair and co-chair, Laura Trump.

00:20:50.760 You've got some inside information on it.

00:20:52.580 What can you tell us?

00:20:54.200 Well, listen, Jack, I think the RNC for the longest time was one of the last holdouts of neoconservatism, establishmentarian, Republican politics.

00:21:03.780 It was so much out of lockstep with where the base of the party was, where the grassroots were, where the vast majority of Republican constituents aligned themselves ideologically.

00:21:12.900 But even putting the ideology aside, it was also a hotbed of complete incompetence and grifting.

00:21:19.360 I mean, all of their operations, you can examine them, you can examine their efforts in a variety of different elections over the past few cycles, federally, at the state level, so on and so forth.

00:21:29.740 And there was so much waste, there was so much graft, there was so much missed opportunity that was squandered because of the incompetence and the corruption at the RNC.

00:21:38.360 And I'm so glad to see a new era be ushered in over there under new leadership of Laura Trump, of Watley and of La Cervita.

00:21:46.080 I think they're doing a great job already.

00:21:48.260 I think we started off the week strong with a massive purge there.

00:21:51.640 I think 60 plus people have had their pink slips handed to them.

00:21:56.240 And I think this is great.

00:21:57.460 I think there was a lot of bloat.

00:21:58.600 I think the plan so far to merge many of the operations with the presidential campaign, with Trump's campaign, is a brilliant one to streamline things, to bring things closer together.

00:22:09.160 So you don't have so much bureaucracy.

00:22:10.500 You don't have so many layers.

00:22:11.820 You don't have so many, too many chiefs in the kitchen.

00:22:15.040 There's too many chefs in the kitchen, too many chiefs, not enough Indians. 1.00

00:22:17.260 I don't know if that's PC.

00:22:18.300 I hesitated for a second.

00:22:19.460 But what we're seeing is much, much.

00:22:22.720 Well, I guarantee you, we said much, much worse on this show.

00:22:26.660 Yeah, absolutely.

00:22:27.620 But listen, I think I think it's a great start to things.

00:22:29.640 I'm hoping that they will ask more.

00:22:31.620 I think there's plenty of people that even you and I had dealings with in the past on X slash Twitter and elsewhere.

00:22:37.580 So I think this is the start of something great.

00:22:39.700 I'm looking forward to seeing how things continue to develop at the RNC and how they could be turned into an effective vehicle to not only reelect President Trump,

00:22:47.240 but to usher in his agenda at the federal, state and local level.

00:22:50.760 So you're absolutely right that Chris LaCivita, Laura Trump and others are putting personnel first,

00:22:59.180 are pushing, putting systemic goals and systemic systems, a systems based approach over, you know,

00:23:08.960 the sort of like, for example, the special counsel, her is or former special counsel is giving this testimony today.

00:23:14.740 It's this big it's this big to do.

00:23:17.160 And yet there's no there's no discernible goal from that.

00:23:21.060 There's no discernible win.

00:23:22.220 There's no discernible victory to be had.

00:23:25.220 He's not even recommending indictments.

00:23:27.420 And talk to me a little bit about the difference between sort of the conservative catnip type content that's out there versus an actual systems focus.

00:23:38.020 No, this is such a great point, Jack.

00:23:40.000 Listen, her testimony is fine and all.

00:23:42.240 But again, it's just this testimony.

00:23:43.500 It's just the sound bites.

00:23:44.860 It's just the clips.

00:23:46.000 It's you know, it's the Trey Gowdy approach to politics, you know, pound your fist in these committees and these hearings and follow through with nothing.

00:23:52.880 I think what's happening at the RNC is far more consequential.

00:23:56.100 I think the personnel decisions being made there are going to go a long way to changing the face of that party, to changing its level of competency and effectiveness and its ability to push forward an America first agenda.

00:24:08.880 I think the Republican Party, you know, whether we like it or not, is one of the few vehicles left institutionally that can be used to combat the left in this country.

00:24:17.960 They haven't done a great job of it.

00:24:19.320 It may be in some cases they've aided and abetted it.

00:24:21.400 But as a vehicle and taking over that vehicle, it can certainly be extremely useful in this political and this cultural and the spiritual fight that's engulfing our country.

00:24:32.320 And I think starting at the base with the personnel decisions, I think that's going to be massive.

00:24:37.060 And I think this is going to pave the way for fantastic personnel decisions to be made in an incoming Trump administration, where we know that the next thousand people after the president are really what's going to make a big difference.

00:24:48.820 In the same way, you look at an institution like the RNC, changing the chairs, the co-chair, the chairman, the COO, those are big deals.

00:24:56.000 But the next 60, 50, 100 people after them are also incredibly important.

00:25:00.280 And we've had far too many Manchurian Republicans, rhinos, these Fabian style, you know, moderate liberal Republicans that have taken over Republican institutions. 1.00

00:25:10.760 I mean, you deal with it at the state level, you deal with it at the local level, it's a losing mentality, it's a culture of losing, and it's a culture of spitting in the face of Republican voters and Republican small dollar donors.

00:25:22.260 It's a party that has for far too long kowtowed to the whims of the donor class and the consultant class above all else.

00:25:29.820 And that just shows the disconnect, the dichotomy that has existed between Republican leadership and Republican voters.

00:25:35.940 And that situation was untenable in the long run.

00:25:39.320 I mean, President Trump called it out, President Trump exposed it, but it couldn't last much longer.

00:25:44.880 And I think what we're seeing is the beginning of the end.

00:25:46.980 I think we're starting to see the cracks in this establishment infrastructure that's dominated the Beltway.

00:25:52.520 And I hope we see more.

00:25:53.620 I think we've seen similar things happen at the think tank level.

00:25:55.980 I think we've seen similar things happen at the state and local level.

00:25:59.120 And to see it now happen at the RNC, I think is a far bigger story.

00:26:02.120 Now, Gavin, we also see, and this is something that Laura Trump said at the RNC meeting,

00:26:08.860 that where she gave a full-throated endorsement of ballot chase, ballot harvesting type strategies. 1.00

00:26:16.620 This is something that the left has made an absolute priority, one where clearly they've operationalized our elections,

00:26:25.720 taken it away from actual voting and turned it into a ballot collection process.

00:26:32.120 And this is exactly what I'm talking about.

00:26:35.800 Do the Democrats have all their show trials and all that?

00:26:38.540 Sure.

00:26:38.920 Yes, they do.

00:26:39.480 They have all of those things.

00:26:40.580 But you know what else they have?

00:26:42.140 Organization.

00:26:43.100 And this is something, sans, a few organizations out there like yourselves, like Turning Point Action and others,

00:26:49.360 we haven't seen the Republicans focus on things like this as much anymore.

00:26:53.860 Talk to me about the importance of that type of organizing as we move and shift focus into the general election.

00:26:59.940 No, fantastic points.

00:27:02.560 Republicans, conservatives, and the right writ large really need to do a better job of organization building,

00:27:08.280 of institution building, of institutional takeovers.

00:27:11.040 You know, we should look to the left in their ideologically neutral tactics and, you know, imitate them.

00:27:16.660 You know, they take over institutions.

00:27:18.280 They take over corporate America.

00:27:19.700 They organize, you know, people made fun of Obama for being a community organizer.

00:27:23.320 But they have built this really strong and expansive infrastructure from the voter all the way up to the federal government,

00:27:30.560 the highest levels of the federal government, where everyone is part of this system.

00:27:33.720 Everyone is almost effectively a dues-paying member of this left-wing ecosystem that, you know, is from cradle to grave.

00:27:40.460 And because of that, they build political machines and they dominate, you know, urban politics.

00:27:45.140 They dominate state-level politics.

00:27:46.920 The places where they're in charge, they are really in charge.

00:27:49.680 It's monopolistic.

00:27:50.540 It's one party.

00:27:51.560 They run roughshod.

00:27:52.600 They spit in the Constitution's face.

00:27:55.020 They spit on the voter's faces. 0.97

00:27:56.620 They don't care about anything because they don't have any competition.

00:28:00.220 You know, obviously, am I calling for a situation like that to be replicated?

00:28:04.400 No, but I think we need to appreciate the power politics, the strategy and art of power, and learn from that, you know, imitate it where possible, and bring it onto our side.

00:28:16.500 And I think you bring up a great case here with ballot harvesting and all these techniques.

00:28:20.540 When and where they are legal, we should be using them.

00:28:23.520 We should be taking advantage of them to the fullest extent of the law.

00:28:26.260 Because if we are, you know, only focusing on one day of voting, and they're using 30 days or plus of voting to get our low-propensity voters, it's always going to be an uphill fight.

00:28:35.040 And if we win, we'll be lucky, and it'll be by, you know, the skin of our teeth.

00:28:38.600 What we really need to do is expand all our operations, and I believe the new leadership team at the RNC is moving full speed ahead in doing this, when and where it's legal.

00:28:47.780 Take advantage of these laws.

00:28:49.180 And once we are in power, then we can change the law.

00:28:51.460 The Republican mentality for so long is complain about it now, do nothing to fix it, and then complain about it more later while donating and grifting off of it.

00:28:59.480 No.

00:28:59.920 If it's legal, take advantage of it, and then once you're in positions of power, that's when you can bring about real change.

00:29:05.540 But we need to, you know, bring guns to a gunfight.

00:29:08.320 We often bring knives to a gunfight, and we always, you know, end up losing to these ruthless, vicious political operators on the left who understand power, who understand that dynamic, who are willing to wield it.

00:29:19.040 And most importantly, they're willing to play the long game.

00:29:21.460 They're willing to build out organizations and institutions that may not have payout right now, right in this cycle, but they may pay out dividends in cycles and decades and generations to come.

00:29:31.880 Meanwhile, Republicans, we think very short term.

00:29:34.120 We think very cyclically, just the next election cycle, just a few years down the line.

00:29:37.720 We're not thinking about how we can change the country in a generation or two.

00:29:40.740 There's no vision.

00:29:42.220 I'll even throw out kudos to Governor DeSantis getting rid of all the DEI types down there in Florida. 0.96

00:29:48.520 I think you need to stay on this.

00:29:50.100 I think it is a systemic change, and that's important.

00:29:54.340 It's important for many people to think about this, but at the same time, hearing a lot of these colleges, they're just kind of changing the name around.

00:30:00.180 They're playing all these games.

00:30:01.320 It's not going to be that easy to root these people out.

00:30:03.640 Last minute, Gavin Wax.

00:30:06.860 Listen, I think we need far more action done at the state level.

00:30:10.080 We have trifecta governments all over the country, and we need Republican governors, Republican leadership to be wielding power effectively.

00:30:16.620 You know, we need Republican Huey Longs.

00:30:18.280 We're going to go in there and crush their enemies and build up political machines, build up political patronage.

00:30:23.280 And listen, I think I think we have to view politics as a real blood sport because that's what it is.

00:30:28.600 It's not about niceties.

00:30:30.120 It's not about the cocktail parties and getting pats on the head from the media.

00:30:32.940 It's about getting results for your constituents.

00:30:35.080 So we haven't been doing that for them.

00:30:37.260 Gavin Wax.

00:30:38.040 Go give him a follow, folks.

00:30:39.480 The president of New York, young Republicans.

00:30:41.860 Chairman Mao once said a revolution is not a dinner party.

00:30:44.480 Eduardo Barostegui of Cabrini.

00:30:46.100 What's next?

00:30:49.940 Jack.

00:30:51.840 Where's Jack?

00:30:53.960 Where is he?

00:30:55.240 Jack, I want to see you.

00:30:58.600 Great job, Jack.

00:31:00.340 Thank you.

00:31:01.100 What a job you do.

00:31:02.520 You know, we have an incredible thing.

00:31:03.920 We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who'll be getting policies.

00:31:09.600 I can have some movie theater, and I stopped because I saw this poster, and I was like, wow, are they making a movie about Mother Cabrini?

00:31:14.820 She's one of my favorites.

00:31:16.320 Now, once I got home, I went to look this movie up, and what I had originally missed is this right here, the director of Sound of Freedom.

00:31:23.980 Now, here's the thing.

00:31:25.460 If you're not familiar with that movie, that is a QAnon human trafficking movie.

00:31:29.960 Now, I admit I have not seen Sound of Freedom, mostly because I am deeply uninterested in watching anything even remotely associated with QAnon. 0.95

00:31:37.660 I really don't understand why these QAnon folks feel the need, and really, this is something that I see coming up with the kind of, like, trad-cath conversation is this—it just shows a deep misunderstanding of Mother Cabrini and other saints like her, right? 0.98

00:31:54.880 She's the patron saint of immigrants.

00:31:56.400 She comes over in the 19th century from Italy to America specifically to provide social services to people who do not have them, right?

00:32:05.940 There is a long legacy with many Catholic saints that are about social justice. 0.95

00:32:13.500 That's her whole deal, and that's a lot of Catholic saints' deal, and I find it really disconcerting and really ignorant. 0.90

00:32:24.220 To be taking the image of this woman who specifically devoted her life to caring for others in a way that was about social equality, and to put her as the face of this, like, conservative nonsense. 0.89

00:32:42.920 Even worse, when you look it up, you look up the summary, right?

00:32:45.540 This is what it says, that she goes on to become, quote, one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history.

00:32:51.460 What does that even mean?

00:32:52.780 It's not what's happening.

00:32:54.220 Right?

00:32:54.940 She goes on to found a bunch of hospitals and orphanages to take care of people. 0.96

00:33:00.500 I wouldn't necessarily call that an entrepreneurship.

00:33:04.280 I just—what is going on here?

00:33:06.800 Please don't see this movie.

00:33:08.640 What is going on here?

00:33:10.560 Don't go see this movie.

00:33:12.520 Why is it—now, that video was posted onto TikTok.

00:33:15.960 It was found by Libs of TikTok, who then brought it forward. 0.97

00:33:18.580 We are now joined—honored to be joined again by Eduardo Verastegui, who was the executive producer of Cabrini.

00:33:25.920 Of course, you remember him from Sound of Freedom.

00:33:29.040 Eduardo, why is this woman so upset about the Mother Cabrini movie?

00:33:35.080 I watched the film.

00:33:36.000 There's nothing controversial in it.

00:33:37.500 It's a love story.

00:33:39.940 Well, Hermano, first of all, thank you so much for this interview and for all your support.

00:33:44.500 And thank you for what you're doing for the world.

00:33:47.540 And, you know, it's very sad.

00:33:50.560 There is this movement of women who actually—they don't want anybody to see Cabrini.

00:33:58.140 In Mexico, they're burning posters of Cabrini.

00:34:00.740 And they're saying, this is a Christian propaganda.

00:34:03.720 Don't see this movie.

00:34:04.840 This movie doesn't represent the real feminist movement. 0.99

00:34:07.640 Of course, it doesn't represent the fake feminist movement because they have an evil agenda. 1.00

00:34:13.420 The real feminism, the real feminist movement should be the ones who have God in the center of their lives, like Mother Cabrini. 1.00

00:34:21.660 And an amazing woman who was willing to die to herself, to her vanity, pride, ego, so God can live through her.

00:34:30.140 And that's why whatever she touched, I mean, miracles happen.

00:34:33.720 You know, that's for me the true—I mean, the true feminist movement are women that are empowered, full of God, you know. 0.98

00:34:39.980 And if a woman removes God from their lives, whatever they touch, it will be destroyed. 1.00

00:34:45.640 And like this woman who doesn't want anybody to see Cabrini because they're afraid of truth. 0.81

00:34:50.860 They're afraid of women empowered by God, you know. 0.80

00:34:54.480 And they're full of themselves.

00:34:57.020 They're full of the devil, not full of God like Mother Cabrini.

00:34:59.920 And this is a huge issue that comes up in the film, you know, released on International Women's Day, a film that widespread release.

00:35:10.120 Even around here in the D.C. area, I've seen it.

00:35:12.520 Every theater is carrying it.

00:35:14.840 But you notice that I haven't seen any of these women's groups come out in support of the film.

00:35:21.260 It's a—you know, for people like me, they say, oh, you're conservative.

00:35:26.280 You, you know, you never have women first. 0.99

00:35:28.520 You never have women forward. 0.97

00:35:29.760 You never tell women stories. 1.00

00:35:30.760 I say, okay, here's Mother Cabrini.

00:35:32.600 We love Mother Cabrini.

00:35:34.320 My mom loved and loves Mother Cabrini. 0.97

00:35:38.380 We had her at the film at CPAC sitting right next to her while we watched the entire thing together.

00:35:43.700 She loves this.

00:35:44.780 We were always raised to be very respectful of Mother Cabrini in Philadelphia area.

00:35:49.660 We have Cabrini College.

00:35:51.120 So the name is very, very important to so many people.

00:35:54.640 And yet the women's groups don't want to celebrate someone like Mother Cabrini.

00:35:59.640 Why is this?

00:36:01.160 Only the women who are pro-abortion.

00:36:03.920 Only the women who are about, you know, about themselves, you know, selfish people who they don't care about, you know, about doing the right thing, about making this world a place. 1.00

00:36:17.980 They don't care.

00:36:19.220 They, you know, you will think, who's going to be against Mother Cabrini, right?

00:36:24.180 I mean, an amazing woman who sacrificed her life to help the poor, an Italian woman who moved to America in times where women have, they have no voice.

00:36:34.680 And she came here legally.

00:36:37.460 She came to the United States.

00:36:38.560 She told her nuns, we speak English now.

00:36:41.120 We're in America.

00:36:42.160 She became American.

00:36:43.240 She became the first canonized saint, American canonized saint.

00:36:46.560 She did everything right.

00:36:47.720 She built hospitals, orphanages, schools, always helping the poor.

00:36:51.600 Who's going to be against that?

00:36:53.220 Well, these women who, you know, who hate God, who hate religion, who hate themselves. 1.00

00:37:00.300 Unfortunately, I pray for them.

00:37:01.860 I invite them to come and see Cabrini so they can be inspired by Mother Cabrini.

00:37:05.900 But it seems like, you know what, they just, they don't want truth.

00:37:10.420 You know, there's nothing we can do other than praying, you know, for them.

00:37:13.380 Because there's three groups of people, the ones who found the truth, the ones who are looking for truth, and the ones who are not interested in truth.

00:37:21.160 Seems like this lady, you know, I'm not judging her, just reporting based on what she said. 0.97

00:37:26.960 She's not interested in truth, you know.

00:37:28.620 Not only that, they're lying.

00:37:30.720 They're lying to the people, just like they lie with sound of freedom, you know.

00:37:34.300 And it's obvious that people in Hollywood, not all of them, but, you know, most of them, and we saw in the Oscars, you know, they have an evil agenda.

00:37:42.160 They have evil rituals, and they don't care about truth.

00:37:46.520 They try to, you know, they try to crucify the sound of freedom.

00:37:50.300 They didn't believe in the movie.

00:37:51.620 But you know what?

00:37:52.220 Who believe in the movie?

00:37:53.560 The people.

00:37:54.520 You know who believe in Cabrini?

00:37:56.200 The people.

00:37:57.700 And I'm here with Our Lady Guadalupe, the most powerful woman on earth, Mother of Jesus Christ.

00:38:03.520 So you know what happens when a woman is full of God. 0.93

00:38:09.020 Miracles happen, just like in Cabrini.

00:38:10.640 And you know what happens when a woman or a man removes God from their lives. 0.99

00:38:17.460 Destruction happens.

00:38:18.960 And so much of the film, so much of the film is, I think, a repudiation of the type of agenda that is pitched to women today by modern society.

00:38:35.180 They say, go to work, or get your OnlyFans account, or go online, run your TikTok account.

00:38:43.460 That's the way to make money.

00:38:45.000 They don't talk about service to others.

00:38:47.460 They don't talk about the importance of family.

00:38:49.720 And family is, it's interesting because Cabrini is all about what happens in the absence of families.

00:38:57.000 It's about broken families.

00:38:58.500 It's about children who are affected by the loss of family and what happens to them when you don't have a mother and a father in a situation.

00:39:08.260 And who can help those people and the exploitation, by the way, of those children.

00:39:13.380 So, in a sense, in an interesting sense, it is actually dealing with some of the same issues as Sound of Freedom because it's all about children.

00:39:22.580 And it's all about taking care of children.

00:39:24.200 But at the same time, at the same time, these women's groups who are supposedly for women's liberation, they don't want to talk about Mother Cabrini.

00:39:33.040 Because Mother Cabrini is someone who dedicated her life, number one, to God, and number two, to the children.

00:39:39.600 Through womenhood.

00:39:41.180 Through womenhood.

00:39:42.320 I mean, there's nothing more beautiful than, I mean, the most beautiful creation from God is women.

00:39:49.540 There's nothing more beautiful than women. 0.93

00:39:52.220 But when women have God in their lives, and when they recognize God as their father and their creator, you become Mother Cabrini.

00:40:02.120 And that's why my hope as a filmmaker is that when people, when parents bring their daughters to see Mother Cabrini, I hope that they will leave, not only entertain, but they will leave the daughters wanting to become Mother Cabrini and not like Barbie, you know?

00:40:19.180 And because our society right now, it's completely upside down, you know?

00:40:23.280 If you speak the truth, now you're evil.

00:40:25.420 And if you lie, then you're good.

00:40:27.760 So, it's upside down.

00:40:28.820 Now, Mother Cabrini speaks the truth through her actions, you know?

00:40:32.580 Most of the movies, she doesn't speak a lot, but she does a lot for others.

00:40:37.020 And that's what we need to do.

00:40:38.460 It's like when St. Francis of Assisi, I remember the story when St. Francis tells his brothers, you know, let's go to the nearest town and let's evangelize.

00:40:47.540 And they spent all day in that town.

00:40:49.940 When they finished, the brothers were, like, you know, talking to themselves.

00:40:53.620 And they said, Brother Francis, I thought we were going to evangelize.

00:40:57.380 And he said, we did.

00:40:58.780 What do you mean we don't talk to anybody about that?

00:41:01.180 We did through our actions.

00:41:03.400 When we helped the poor, when we helped the sick, we were evangelizing.

00:41:06.880 Through your actions.

00:41:07.560 And if it's necessary to use words, Mother Cabrini, that's what he does.

00:41:08.620 Quick break right here.

00:41:09.500 We'll be right back with more Eduardo Verastegui, executive producer of Cabrini with Angel Studios.

00:41:15.340 We're going to talk more about that and finish the story right after the break.

00:41:19.100 When I'm working long hours, I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

00:41:23.180 All right, Jack Posobiec, back live.

00:41:26.240 Final segment here, Human Events Daily.

00:41:28.660 We're talking about the film Cabrini, the latest film from Angel Studios.

00:41:34.340 It's out in theaters now.

00:41:35.580 Everybody needs to go and get a ticket.

00:41:37.520 And you've already gotten a ticket.

00:41:39.120 Then go get one for somebody else.

00:41:40.840 Use the Pay It Forward system.

00:41:42.200 It's in theaters all across America.

00:41:44.400 We're talking with Eduardo Verastegui.

00:41:46.600 He's the executive producer.

00:41:47.980 Eduardo, what was it like working with Angel on this project?

00:41:51.820 We know the story of Sound of Freedom that you and Alejandro Monteverde carried for so many years to getting it on the screen.

00:42:01.020 What was it like working with Angel on Cabrini?

00:42:03.000 Well, Jack, for us independent filmmakers, you know, we've been working since 20 years ago.

00:42:12.020 Alejandro Monteverde, Leo Severino, Eustace Wolfington, Sean Wolfington, myself, and many more.

00:42:18.480 Always, you know, going against the current.

00:42:21.220 Always, as an independent filmmaker, doing everything from zero, you know, finding the scripts, finding the right stories, raising the funds, you know, pre-production, production, post-production, finishing the movie, then publicity, marketing, looking for distribution.

00:42:37.420 So in every movie, it took us like, for example, in Bella, it took us like five years from the beginning until the movie was out in theaters.

00:42:45.540 Then with Little Boy, another five years.

00:42:48.000 Sound of Freedom, eight years.

00:42:50.440 And because of Angel Studios, I remember when we were rejected by every studio in Hollywood with Sound of Freedom for almost four years, I was trained to God for an angel to come and rescue this film and to help us to put this movie out, you know, out there in theaters.

00:43:02.900 And then I got a phone call from Angel Studios and they became our distributors.

00:43:06.780 Only last year.

00:43:07.740 I remember just meeting them April last year.

00:43:10.520 We signed a deal.

00:43:11.860 You know, the movie came out after being rejected for four years, almost five years from Hollywood, came out on July 4th.

00:43:17.060 And first time in the history where an independent film comes out on July 4th, open number one in the box office because of the incredible work that Angel Studios did because of New Jack and because of so many celebrities,

00:43:29.380 these political leaders who endorsed the movie and helped this movement because Sound of Freedom became a movement, a global movement that it's trying to, you know, solve this sort of reality, which is child trafficking.

00:43:43.340 So because of Angel Studios and because of the success of Sound of Freedom, then with Cabrini, we didn't have to wait for years.

00:43:49.600 We just finished the movie in December last year.

00:43:52.000 And I can believe now we're in theaters.

00:43:53.260 So we waited only for a few months because of the success of Sound of Freedom.

00:43:57.940 So that helped us not to wait for years, you know, waiting for Hollywood to green light your movie.

00:44:05.780 We don't believe in what Hollywood is doing.

00:44:07.740 Most of what they're doing, it's pretty much evil.

00:44:11.120 It's deceiving the people.

00:44:13.700 It's poisoning the minds of the youth.

00:44:15.700 And we don't make movies for the critics, neither for Hollywood.

00:44:18.840 We make movies for the people.

00:44:20.620 And that's what Cabrini is. 0.99

00:44:22.000 It's a movie for the family, for the people.

00:44:24.920 And I hope that when people come and see this movie, you know, the movie begins when the movie is finished.

00:44:32.020 My hope is that the people will leave the theater carrying the legacy of Mother Cabrini in their lives and becoming the best version of themselves.

00:44:40.080 And that's what art is for, you know, to inspire people to do great things like what Mother Cabrini did.

00:44:44.820 Why is it important for people in this movement to support independent films, independent culture, independent media?

00:44:55.460 Well, because eventually we're not going to be independent anymore.

00:45:00.420 And eventually we're going to be the real the real Hollywood, you know, holy wood.

00:45:06.960 And and but, you know, we started from zero.

00:45:10.060 You know, remember back in the days, in the 40s, all the movies were movies for the family.

00:45:13.860 That's that's what that's what Hollywood was producing.

00:45:16.540 Something happens where eventually, you know, Hollywood was Hollywood, Hollywood was kidnapped and and and they have their own agenda.

00:45:24.240 We'll have an agenda. We have an agenda.

00:45:26.140 The agenda is to promote love, forgiveness, you know, truth, values.

00:45:30.220 That's our agenda. They have a different agenda.

00:45:32.700 So if we if we are not going to be in line with our agenda, they are going to try to kill us to, you know, to destroy our projects.

00:45:40.520 And and but eventually the people, the people show up in theaters.

00:45:45.400 So eventually, you know, the people is the one.

00:45:48.420 The people is the one who has the last the last word. 0.96

00:45:52.380 So just like in Sound of Freedom, you know, Sound of Freedom was not even nominated for anything.

00:45:57.140 Can you believe it? I mean, they're too obvious.

00:45:59.300 They they they they hate anything that amplified light.

00:46:04.460 And we know that. And actually, that's a good sign for us.

00:46:07.660 When when we receive, you know, negative critics from Hollywood, that means that we're doing the right thing.

00:46:16.180 There's a friend of mine, Joshua Leitzig, will say that bad reviews from bad people are good reviews.

00:46:23.420 And I remember that during the Sound of Freedom controversy, I said that to you when all of the

00:46:28.800 the hit pieces started coming, because I remember at first they didn't attack Sound of Freedom at first.

00:46:33.520 They didn't say anything about it. They didn't attack it.

00:46:35.840 They came out fourth of July and no one said anything.

00:46:39.240 And then they saw how big it was.

00:46:40.860 And that's when Rolling Stone and The Guardian and everything else just started pumping all the hits on it.

00:46:46.260 But I said, don't worry about it. I would celebrate these reviews because it's actually going to make the movie bigger.

00:46:55.580 They're trying to silence us, but it was too late.

00:46:58.300 You know, when they mobilized their industry to try to silence and to kill the movie, it was too late.

00:47:03.060 The movie was flying so high and that that whatever they did to the movie, just, you know, the movie became stronger.

00:47:10.560 And that's what's happening right now with Cabrini.

00:47:12.580 You know, they they didn't know what Cabrini was and they they took it for granted.

00:47:16.900 And and just now when I heard that these feminists in Mexico are trying to are burning posters of Cabrini and they're saying this movie doesn't represent us. 1.00

00:47:28.060 And I think they're doing a favor to the movie because eventually, you know, more women are, you know, they will want to see the movie and judge for themselves. 1.00

00:47:36.620 We've got the website of Angel dot com slash POSO Angel dot com slash POSO.

00:47:44.940 If you want to get tickets, you want to check out Showtimes, if you want to use Pay It Forward.

00:47:49.720 Final minute to you, Eduardo Verastegui.

00:47:52.620 Well, just go and support a film that Hollywood doesn't want you to see.

00:47:56.000 Go and support the film that the feminist movement, the the fake one, the ones that doesn't have God in their lives, don't want them to see. 1.00

00:48:03.820 And let's show up and let's support a movie that it's designed to make this world better place.

00:48:10.980 And so I want to invite all the family men, invite your wife, your sisters, your daughters.

00:48:16.080 And this is an amazing way to honor women, the most beautiful creation by God.

00:48:22.740 The greatest creation by God.

00:48:25.120 Eduardo Verastegui, folks.

00:48:26.460 Eduardo, we might be doing a live stream together.
