00:01:24.660 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by

00:01:28.260 Turning Point USA. Today's top stories, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. You know him. I call

00:01:33.940 him Castro Jr. We don't have to ask why. He's threatening to target Americans who donated to

00:01:40.060 the Freedom Convoy. That's interesting. Next up, Vice President Kamala Harris is to be dispatched

00:01:45.600 to the Munich Conference to talk Ukraine later this month. Third, the U.S. Fourth Circuit has

00:01:51.420 revoked two permits to complete the Mountain Valley Pipeline Project. Of course, we're shutting down

00:01:56.940 pipelines here in the United States. And then finally, Judicial Watch and Catholic Vote have sued

00:02:02.120 the Department of Homeland Security and HHS for Catholic Charities Communications. All this and more

00:02:07.580 head, Human Events Daily. Prime Minister Castro Jr. I'm sorry, I mean Justin Trudeau. Of course,

00:02:24.080 Justin Trudeau. I don't know why I keep mixing these guys up. It's just weird. So he's out there

00:02:29.540 recently talking about how much he loves the truckers and supports the truckers and really

00:02:35.460 stands with the people who stand for. Oh, wait, no, that's not what he said at all. We've got a clip

00:02:40.260 of what he actually said about the truckers. Take a listen. And a few people shouting and waving

00:02:45.880 swastikas does not define who Canadians are. Just a short time ago, we had an election in this country

00:02:55.580 where we asked Canadians how they wanted to keep fighting this pandemic. And their answer

00:03:04.500 was clear. Canadians chose vaccines. They chose science. They chose to protect one another.

00:03:16.080 So beyond smearing these freedom-loving patriots as swastika waivers, right, Castro Jr. has now

00:03:26.920 started to make threats against Americans who have donated money to the GoFundMe that was set up

00:03:33.560 to support the Canadian truckers deemed the Freedom Convoy 2022. And we have this by way of

00:03:38.780 SarahCarter.com. Trudeau is now making personal threats. We're reading from a prepared memo,

00:03:43.880 Justin Trudeau's public safety minister, Marco Mendiccio, stated that the Canadian government

00:03:49.840 intends to target any American who may have donated to the Freedom Convoy protest effort.

00:03:55.260 Apparently, the Canadian government wants to scare Americans away from donating to support the

00:04:00.400 freedom protest in Ottawa. They identify the Ottawa protest group as a violent hate group. The Ottawa truck

00:04:07.720 drivers were described as an angry, loud, intolerant, and violent crowd who, quote,

00:04:13.360 threatened the national security of Canada. And so do you understand where this is all coming from,

00:04:19.160 right? The reason they talk about these flags, there was that Confederate flag that was flown,

00:04:24.740 and then there was one swastika, and then nobody could find who actually flew these things.

00:04:30.240 They were asked to leave. They wouldn't take their masks off. They were asked to leave at the time.

00:04:35.000 But the reason that they're doing this is that under Canadian law,

00:04:38.460 now they can use this as a law enforcement push to smear everyone there as a racist,

00:04:45.260 hate, or extremist group. And by declaring them an extremist group, that gives law enforcement the

00:04:51.300 ability to go after them. So now, if you're an American, right, they want you to think that they

00:04:56.640 are actually going to try to go after people on this. Well, guess what? I just looked at the new

00:05:01.140 give, send, go this morning, right before we started filming. Just under 8.5 million American

00:05:08.560 dollars that are going into this thing. And where do we see the truckers? The truckers are still on

00:05:14.120 that ambassador bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor. That is the auto industry's main artery

00:05:20.060 between Canada and between the United States. Detroit, right? Motor City. This is 25% of all trade

00:05:29.340 between the US and Canada. Our largest trading partner, of course, they're a neighbor,

00:05:33.240 goes over that bridge. And it's privately owned, meaning the government can't go and enforce the

00:05:39.740 reopening of it. Do you understand how big this is? We also just got a report that there's an element

00:05:44.820 that was sent out from the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa. They're now driving to the Ottawa airport,

00:05:51.460 and you've got dozens of these. It's cars, it's SUVs. I haven't seen any trucks yet,

00:05:56.160 but they're probably going to get some trucks. They're just driving around that airport loop,

00:05:59.440 you know, where you do the pickups and drop-offs. They're all covered with American or Canadian

00:06:03.780 flags decked out and just honking their horns just constantly. They are shutting down the strategic

00:06:09.260 lines of communication for the Canadian economy. Trudeau understands that what he has on his hands

00:06:17.320 is an actual uprising. This isn't one of those color revolutions that's, you know, sponsored by some

00:06:23.440 shadowy NGOs, always tied to American intelligence, American. No, no, no, no. This isn't one of those

00:06:28.740 things. This is absolutely real. These people paid their own way. They paid for their own gas.

00:06:36.200 We already know they sleep in their trucks, right? Or, you know, get a motel that they paid for

00:06:40.520 themselves. You are seeing an actual uprising of the people. And of course, it's the workers.

00:06:46.040 By the way, has anyone actually showed me? I'm still waiting to see. What's that stuff?

00:06:49.980 They always talk about it. You know, they used to, oh yeah, science. What's the science exactly

00:06:55.260 on a guy that sits in his truck by himself all day driving around, possibly being a super spreader

00:07:02.700 for a virus? Like, even if you want to steel man this, how does that work out, right? How does

00:07:08.260 their argument work? Just walk me through that. Can we see any of that, you know, data, any of this?

00:07:12.760 No. The reason Trudeau is digging his heels in is because he's got his marching orders from Davos.

00:07:18.200 He does not want to give the truckers credit for anything.

00:07:24.600 Well, Ukraine and Russia are about to go to blows. Or are they? Because President Zelensky,

00:07:30.260 it's been reported in the Wall Street Journal just yesterday, says that he doesn't think that

00:07:34.820 Russia is going to invade. And in fact, Vladimir Putin just sat down with President Macron of France

00:07:40.240 to talk all this out the other day in Moscow. Then Macron went also went to Zelensky

00:07:45.520 in Kiev to be able to talk about this. So what's really going on? Is this heating up? Because if you

00:07:52.560 talk to anybody within the Washington, D.C. sphere, this national capital region controlled by the

00:07:59.100 regime where I'm sitting right now, they will tell you that it is about to go on. This is the long

00:08:04.800 promised war of Russia invading one of their neighbors, conquering them. And then finally,

00:08:10.800 the United States under Article 5 will rush in and we'll get this great confrontation of

00:08:17.920 civilizations between the United States and the USSR, except, well, you know, they're not really

00:08:22.220 the USSR anymore, are they? So it doesn't seem like that's what's happening. In fact, I think a lot of

00:08:29.060 people have looked at this and said, Putin's got his troops there. He can leave them there indefinitely

00:08:34.300 because they're in his own country, but he's using the threat to derive whatever concessions he can

00:08:41.060 from NATO or from Ukraine. Obviously, that's his best move. Going in would be costly. It would be 0.84

00:08:47.740 bloody. It would be disastrous. He wouldn't want to do that. The Jews ain't worth the squeeze. But if he 0.99

00:08:54.820 can get concessions like diplomatic recognition of Crimea, possible autonomy for those separatist states

00:09:01.420 in the Far East, then he gets what he wants. He's in a better position than he is. And plus,

00:09:06.660 he wants to keep Ukraine out of NATO the same way Finland, by the way, is out of NATO. Why? Because

00:09:11.900 it's on the border with Russia. But we have a new savior to rush in to be the mediator come sent from

00:09:20.500 Washington, D.C., where we all know our salvation comes from. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Vice President

00:09:27.540 Kamala Harris is heading to Europe to headline the Munich conference in Ukraine later this month,

00:09:34.080 and she alone will solve this crisis. I will tell you that I every morning start my morning in my day

00:09:42.100 reading the presidential daily brief, the PDB, which contains classified information about threats to

00:09:48.320 our national security and hotspots around the world. I am often in the situation room with the leaders of

00:09:54.600 our military and our intelligence community and, of course, the president of the United States. And on

00:09:58.620 the subject of Ukraine, I will tell you that the president has been very clear and we as the United

00:10:04.120 States are very clear. If Putin takes aggressive action, we are prepared to levy serious and severe

00:10:12.640 costs. I actually kind of love this. So the fact that they're giving it to Vice President Harris

00:10:17.060 essentially means that Biden, President Biden, has lost Europe. He's done, right? He's totally up.

00:10:22.680 Because what do they do? We've seen this again and again. I've given you the shade war updates on this

00:10:28.060 show for how many months now? We know that there is no good. Look, I think Ukraine and Russia have a 0.75

00:10:35.660 better relationship than Biden and Kamala at this point. All right. That's how bad it is. They are

00:10:41.480 loading her up with every single policy that they know is going to fail. Remember, they actually tried

00:10:47.160 to talk to her about giving her inflation. They were going to put that on the Vice President's plate.

00:10:51.140 Yeah. We just saw the inflation numbers today. 7.5% increase, the highest we've seen since Reagan

00:10:57.580 took office. That's right after the great inflation, also known as the Carter administration. Okay.

00:11:03.160 That's how bad they are trying to cut off the Vice President at the knees. And no media matters. I'm

00:11:09.480 not talking about that. Literally, that is what we call an analogy. It's an analogy, a figure of speech,

00:11:15.600 if you will. Look, this thing has simmered down. President Biden, he got dog walked on it. I'm

00:11:27.580 just going to say it, right? Macron is over there playing mediator. Biden, what is he getting credit

00:11:33.260 for? Absolutely nothing. So what's going on? Munich, Germany later this month, a security conference is

00:11:39.520 meant to boost Ukraine against the backdrop of a potential invasion by Russia. The Veep's appearance

00:11:43.920 at the conference scheduled to take place the 18th to 20th of February. I love this. We'll demonstrate

00:11:48.060 our ironclad commitment to our NATO allies and reaffirm our shared interest in upholding the

00:11:55.740 principles that have underpinned European peace and security since World War II, as well as

00:12:01.700 underscoring our commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the White House said in a

00:12:08.440 statement. Look, here's the problem with this, right? I'll give you a dirty little secret. Even from

00:12:11.640 their side, like I remember, I was in the intel community. I know this place works. There's no

00:12:17.420 country currently in NATO, right? Publicly, they don't want to go against the administration because

00:12:23.320 the U.S. is a big dog in NATO. Publicly, they're not going to do that. But every single country in

00:12:28.020 Europe knows, or in NATO, which is essentially synonymous with Europe at this point, they know

00:12:32.720 there's a problem. How do you allow Ukraine into NATO if Russia has already annexed Crimea and those

00:12:41.200 two areas have separated, Lugansk and Donetsk in the Far East? If you have Russian troops already in

00:12:49.400 that country and it hasn't been diplomatically recognized yet, well, then you're already in a

00:12:54.960 state of war. Why would you allow a country into NATO that already has Russian troops occupying portions of

00:13:01.980 that country, right? So even if you steel man this out, it doesn't work in their favor because it

00:13:07.280 would automatically trigger an Article V war with Russia. And that ain't something that anybody wants

00:13:13.300 to see. That's not something that I certainly want to see. And I guarantee you that's something

00:13:16.480 that the people of Eastern Europe do not want to see. This issue is dead.

00:13:24.320 Well, President Biden just signed a new pact with the Emir of Qatar. Isn't that nice?

00:13:31.220 Isn't it so wonderful to be getting in bed with people like the Emir of Qatar? And we've talked

00:13:36.720 about this before, that what does Qatar want? They want to build a pipeline all the way up through

00:13:43.160 Syria, through Turkey, into Europe to feed that market. So much of what you see in international

00:13:50.100 politics, we just talked about Ukraine, we just talked about Germany, right? They have a pipeline that's

00:13:55.300 now going, it's called Nord Stream 2, from Russia to Ukraine. Why are they doing that? Because, or excuse

00:14:01.620 me, from Russia to Germany. Nord Stream 2 goes to Germany. And why are the Germans doing that? Because 0.62

00:14:07.120 it's cheaper gas. That's the essential reason. So why does Germany not want to pick a fight with Russia 0.92

00:14:12.620 right now? Again, that's who they're getting their heat from in the middle of winter. Their homes are

00:14:17.660 being heated by Russian gas, okay? Their electricity, their power. Same idea. Now we're making deals 0.99

00:14:23.400 with the Emir of Qatar. And we could go through the list of human rights abuses of Qatar. We could go

00:14:28.000 through the stuff they push. I think everybody knows that by now. Same deal that we get involved

00:14:32.320 in all this stuff, these pipeline wars. Why are we doing this rather than actually tapping into the

00:14:38.540 resources that we have right here in the United States of America? And I've talked about this a

00:14:42.860 million times. My idea is don't invade Afghanistan, invade Alaska, right? Invade Appalachia, 0.97

00:14:50.440 the Marcellus Shale Basin, the Permian Basin. We want to go into these finds, tap them right here

00:14:56.300 in the United States. And then we can take a look at Greenland as well. Maybe that island of Greenland

00:15:02.500 could become the prefecture of Greenland. Just putting out ideas, just planting seeds.

00:15:07.380 But understand, this is all about natural resources. So there's another one. There's another

00:15:14.880 pipeline that was about to be built. And nobody is talking about this. Gabe Hoffman, though,

00:15:18.800 he posted a tweet about it that I happen to see where he was linking back to Doonberg on

00:15:22.880 Substack.com. So go look at Doonberg Substack. He's getting all of this. Where we've just seen

00:15:27.740 seven days before, just one week before the event at the White House, U.S. domestic gas producers

00:15:33.720 were dealt yet another senseless gas gut punch when a three-judge panel of the United States Court of

00:15:40.600 Appeals for the Fourth Circuit revoked two approved permits to complete the critically important

00:15:46.940 mountain valley pipeline project, which, by the way, is already 94% constructed. This is right on the

00:15:55.180 border between Virginia and West Virginia. This is a huge greenfield of Appalachia, natural gas project,

00:16:02.480 tons of jobs. It's a 3.5 mile stretch through the Appalachia Mountains. Would provide tons of

00:16:11.020 economic support to an area that obviously needs it, right? We're talking West Virginia,

00:16:17.100 Southwest, West Virginia, the state, and then Southwest Virginia across the border. But they're

00:16:23.420 cutting it down. And why is that? Because of green policies. Yes, of course. But go listen. The actual

00:16:30.220 people of the area, the leaders of the area, they want this project. Take a listen.

00:16:34.260 And speak to me, Mr. Ford has now been very important in the job of the new order of investment

00:16:40.080 programs. The NDP project would have been important to package it to our region's infrastructure

00:16:45.420 different, painting, and opening to public's engineers. What we've got to point to is not

00:16:51.300 to do with the union on the right and front of the companies. It's established the world that

00:16:55.500 used the moment to be near risk-keeping the business. It's not Western Virginia, but it's also

00:17:00.660 not Western Virginia. And in a follow-up tweet from Gabe Hoffman, he points out that the Obama

00:17:08.820 and Clinton-nominated judges revoked the permit for a 94% constructed 6.2 billion critical natural

00:17:16.640 gas pipeline right here in the United States, right in Appalachia. Why? Because they claimed

00:17:22.680 the Feds failed to properly assess the effects of climate change on two species of rare fish.

00:17:32.440 OPEC applauds you. Well done. Well done, United States. Well done. You didn't assess the effects

00:17:40.320 of climate change on two species of rare fish, so now we have to make deals with the Mir of Qatar. 0.95

00:17:46.040 Now, your gas prices are going to go up in the U.S. market because we're not tapping into the

00:17:50.660 resources that are right here in the United States. You've seen oil spiking, right? It is

00:17:57.660 on its way to $100 a barrel. You're going to see 1970s level inflation. We're already starting to

00:18:04.540 see 1970s level inflation, right? 1982, all right? How much further do you want to keep rolling this

00:18:09.420 back? Understand what part of the movie we are in. We are shutting down. This is basic supply and demand,

00:18:16.480 folks. Basic supply and demand. But because of the elite merger in this country, our elites have been

00:18:23.480 bought off. They don't care.

00:18:28.760 Well, I know some parts of the country had a white Christmas, but we're now seeing a massive winter storm

00:18:33.740 front that is coming in, crashing. East Coast again, getting battered this weekend, battered this entire

00:18:39.440 winter. We might be seeing, we might be in store for a white Valentine's Day on Monday. And because

00:18:45.980 all of that is approaching, where do you want to go to support it? You go to mypillow.com backslash

00:18:50.740 post. I know what you guys are saying. Guys are saying, hey, Jack, I can't just get something for

00:18:55.680 my wife from mypillow.com. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. There's way more than just pillows. You go to

00:19:00.320 mypillow.com backslash post. So you get the slippers, you get the robes, you get the silk sheets.

00:19:07.300 Don't you want to get your wife silk sheets for Valentine's Day? And for the ladies out there, 1.00

00:19:13.100 don't you want to tell your husband that you want silk sheets for Valentine's Day? I'm just saying,

00:19:18.700 I'm just planting seeds. Mypillow.com backslash post. So the sheets are on sale right now. Say

00:19:23.740 that five times fast, right? Go there, support us, support patriots. Go today, take action.

00:19:28.580 This next story, this is just, it's sad. And it's sad for me as a Catholic to have to report this,

00:19:35.660 but as a Catholic, this is also a fight that we need to have because we have an issue with a group

00:19:41.400 called Catholic Charities. They have been aiding and abetting illegal immigration into this country.

00:19:48.900 So now Judicial Watch and Catholic Vote are suing the Department of Homeland Security and HHS

00:19:54.780 for communications with Catholic Charities. And by the way, when I talk about this,

00:20:00.760 I'm not saying that you shouldn't help people in need. What I'm saying is you're exacerbating a

00:20:07.740 situation that's already a crisis. Go take a look at what's actually going on right now at the border.

00:20:12.820 It's not outlandish to say there are some people that just cannot afford a plane ticket. There are

00:20:17.680 some people. Now, how does Catholic Charities help with either a bus ticket or a plane ticket?

00:20:23.600 As I mean, because you have got to get them to a destination. Is there an agreement there?

00:20:27.960 How does that work? No agreement. You know, we definitely encourage for the family to be able

00:20:33.120 to come up with that ticket, that transportation. And so we'll wait to make sure that that happens.

00:20:39.040 If we start paying for tickets and everybody's going to need a ticket, you know, nobody's going

00:20:44.200 to be able to come up because more than likely the families are borrowing the money to buy that ticket.

00:20:49.260 And so they need to make that effort. And so we really definitely encourage that.

00:20:55.140 And pretty much if we end up paying any tickets, it will be because maybe less than 1% of any

00:21:03.600 everybody that we get, you know, very few cases that we will definitely follow up and get somebody

00:21:10.640 to sponsor that family, you know, but that's what, that's how we do it. We usually get

00:21:15.960 almost 100% of people paying their own, their own transportation.

00:21:21.420 Now let's go and look at this FOIA request. Judicial Watch is accusing Sister Norma Pimentel, 0.85

00:21:27.040 the executive director of Catholic Charities, RGV, the Rio Grande Valley, of acknowledging that her

00:21:32.980 charity receives tax dollars to buy plane and bus tickets for illegal immigrants to travel throughout

00:21:39.540 the United States. The group also noted that back in July 2021, La Jolla, Texas, police officers found

00:21:47.380 that a COVID positive illegal immigrant family was in a fast food restaurant and told them that

00:21:53.720 Catholic Charities Rio Grande Valley paid for their hotel room. Understand what's going on here. And I

00:21:58.920 love the fact that Catholic Vote is involved with this as well. They're also a nonprofit organization
