00:01:16.400 Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily, powered by Turning Point USA.

00:01:23.380 Today's top stories.

00:01:25.000 The Department of Homeland Security, isn't this so nice?

00:01:27.280 Isn't this so wonderful?

00:01:28.480 They have now announced in the new counterterrorism bulletin that questioning elections or COVID-19 is now considered domestic terrorism.

00:01:38.680 Thank goodness.

00:01:39.580 I'm just going to say thank you to the brave men and women of Homeland Security.

00:01:43.060 Next, the Alberta premier has announced a partial end to the mandates amid trucker protests.

00:01:49.280 We'll discuss this and the implications of it.

00:01:50.860 Third, Capitol Police are targeting a sitting congressman who criticized the Ashley Babbitt shooting and called for an investigation.

00:01:59.140 And then finally, a jury trial has been ordered for CNN's Don Lemon over sexual assault allegations.

00:02:05.620 All this and more ahead, Human Events Daily.

00:02:13.060 We'll get a huge show today.

00:02:19.820 Ton of massive stories.

00:02:21.200 This is really one of the shows where we do, where each of the stories is super important in its own right.

00:02:26.700 So we have to get right into it.

00:02:28.560 A new bulletin has come out through the National Terrorism Advisory System.

00:02:34.160 And the new bulletin says, Ron Paul was right.

00:02:37.300 But in all seriousness, here's what it says, right?

00:02:41.060 The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by serious factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories and other forms of mal-dis-end mal-information.

00:02:58.280 Or no, mis-dis-end mal-maldison, we're working on that one.

00:03:02.880 We'll get back to you on that.

00:03:04.440 Mis-dis-end mal-information introduced and or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors.

00:03:11.920 These threat actors seek to exacerbate social friction, to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence.

00:03:28.280 I mean, this is incredible.

00:03:29.500 Your own Department of Homeland Security now says, and specifically, right, it says right here, anything that calls for misleading narratives which undermine trust in U.S. government institutions, false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19.

00:03:52.580 It doesn't even say any specifics about that.

00:03:56.300 It just says, and COVID-19, false narratives about COVID-19 are now, right, right, well, false by who?

00:04:01.520 So if we're going to talk about widespread unsubstantiated claims, are we going to talk about Rachel Maddow, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, or all of the people that told us that the 2016 election was stolen by Russia, who lied about it for years, who inspired a shooting at a congressional baseball practice?

00:04:22.800 Are we going to talk about that?

00:04:24.120 Oh, talk about people who lied about COVID-19.

00:04:26.060 I mean, so Xi Jinping, Dr. Fauci, the WHO, we're going to go into any of these things, all the CDC statements and then changes.

00:04:35.140 Oh, the science has changed.

00:04:36.220 The science, actually, the science has changed.

00:04:37.700 No, science doesn't change.

00:04:39.360 Your politics changed.

00:04:41.460 Science is immutable.

00:04:42.440 Laws of nature do not change, right?

00:04:44.820 What changed was your hypothesis.

00:04:46.860 What changed was your approach to it because you realized that you have election coming up and you're worried about that.

00:04:52.320 But now it's easy because all you have to do is tell everyone that your opponents, anyone who disagrees with you, well, they're just a domestic terrorist.

00:05:04.620 Ron Paul did warn us this would happen when the Patriot Act came out.

00:05:08.880 He did.

00:05:09.640 And credit where credit is due.

00:05:11.960 Now, here's Tulsi Gabbard, herself a member of the Democrat Party, a former Democrat Party official.

00:05:18.000 She was the vice chair of the DNC, speaking out against this.

00:05:21.340 I supported Joe Biden and millions of other Americans voted for Joe Biden because he promised to unite us.

00:05:28.260 He promised to bring us together, to end the divisiveness.

00:05:33.140 Sadly, not only has he failed to do this, he has betrayed us all by pouring fuel on the fires of divisiveness that are tearing our country apart.

00:05:41.160 Biden compares those who disagree with him to racists, traitors, to enemies of bygone eras.

00:05:50.000 And Biden now has his attorney general targeting millions of Americans as domestic terrorists.

00:05:55.720 We face an elevated threat from domestic violent extremists, that is, individuals in the United States who seek to commit violent criminal acts in furtherance of domestic, social or political goals.

00:06:11.820 Domestic violent extremists are often motivated by a mix of ideologies and personal grievances.

00:06:16.960 We've seen a growing threat from those who are motivated by racial animus, as well as those who ascribe to extremist, anti-government and anti-authority ideologies.

00:06:28.060 If we allow this to continue, our country, our country, the country that we love, the land of the free, the home of the brave, it'll be unrecognizable and it'll be lost forever.

00:06:40.060 We are witnessing a regime in decline.

00:06:43.280 You know, I hear people in this town saying, oh, the CCP is in decline.

00:06:46.280 Really?

00:06:47.220 Do you have any background to show that?

00:06:49.300 No.

00:06:49.680 This is a regime that's lashing out in every direction.

00:06:52.580 They're fighting phantoms overseas.

00:06:54.520 They're trying to go after portions of their own populace.

00:06:57.440 And you've seen this with every ruler throughout time.

00:07:01.220 Divide and conquer. 0.98

00:07:02.720 Divide the people. 0.98

00:07:03.600 You pit 50% of the people against the other 50%. 0.95

00:07:07.140 And you say that all the problems are not caused by me, the leader.

00:07:10.840 They're caused by that group of people.

00:07:12.960 And so we have to scapegoat them and demonize them.

00:07:15.180 And that's exactly what you're seeing happen here.

00:07:19.800 Well, the Alberta premier came out last night and he gave a press conference stating that he was going to be ending most of the vaccine programs and restrictions effective midnight last night.

00:07:32.300 About an hour plus long conference.

00:07:34.140 But, of course, he didn't want to mention the truckers or the protests because he can't give them victory.

00:07:41.080 That's what this is all about right now.

00:07:43.020 We're seeing a situation where it's about who gets the credit.

00:07:47.500 Do the truckers get the credit?

00:07:48.840 Do the people get the credit?

00:07:50.260 Or does the premier get the credit?

00:07:51.800 The government, the politicians, the leaders get credit for ending the pandemic.

00:07:56.560 And this is a key point.

00:07:58.260 It's actually bigger than you might realize because it's a question about who has legitimacy and who has power in our society.

00:08:06.760 That is why you see Prime Minister Trudeau digging his heels in so much on this.

00:08:11.760 Because this guy is a committed Western globalist.

00:08:15.680 He is somebody who's got his marching orders of the Great Reset and has been told, do not let them get a win.

00:08:22.800 Dig in your heels.

00:08:23.620 Because common sense.

00:08:24.860 Common sense would be, all right, we're going to appoint a mediator.

00:08:28.560 There's too much economic risk.

00:08:30.740 Obviously, the science doesn't show us that we need to mandate this thing.

00:08:34.780 If enough people have antibodies already, you're probably going to be okay.

00:08:37.740 You're not going to ruin your society with anything like this.

00:08:40.520 Obviously, Omicron is not as strong as the other variants, certainly not as strong as Delta that's been out there.

00:08:45.640 So, you know, we're good to go.

00:08:46.780 We can, and we've seen, by the way, other places dropping their restrictions and dropping their mandates.

00:08:52.840 But Trudeau won't do it.

00:08:54.040 And why not?

00:08:55.220 Because this isn't about mandates anymore.

00:08:57.520 It's about power.

00:08:59.860 Who has it and who is allowed to wield it?

00:09:02.360 So go listen to Premier Kenney last night in Alberta.

00:09:04.380 Step one will also end the restriction exemption program in its entirety.

00:09:09.280 Effective midnight tonight.

00:09:11.240 And so the point is simply this, that the restriction exemption program has served its useful purpose.

00:09:17.680 It's done its job.

00:09:19.740 It is no longer leading to higher vaccination rates.

00:09:22.760 In fact, we have seen our vaccination rates effectively frozen since early December.

00:09:27.520 But something the Canadian truckers picked up on was added by Kenney at the end of this.

00:09:34.180 He said, he doesn't believe the program can serve any useful purpose going forward unless they change the definition of full vaccination to three doses of a vaccine or more.

00:09:47.560 It's at a globalnews.ca.

00:09:48.760 So he said, well, sure, we can drop it unless we decide not to.

00:09:55.380 So this is typical politician doublespeak.

00:09:58.560 You have to understand how to read and listen and translate politician doublespeak.

00:10:04.900 Okay.

00:10:05.380 We're dropping the mandates if we're dropping the mandates unless everything will be fine.

00:10:11.620 You can have full freedom, but they are instituting a clawback provision on this.

00:10:17.680 So do not allow that.

00:10:19.500 And that's why you see, by the way, the protesters in Alberta on that border between Coutts.

00:10:24.980 It's in Coutts.

00:10:26.160 It's between the U.S. and Canada.

00:10:28.560 It's between Alberta and Calgary.

00:10:30.340 You're seeing the protesters still on Ambassador Bridge in Detroit, between Detroit and Windsor.

00:10:35.900 They're not letting up.

00:10:37.300 They're not letting go because they say, you know what?

00:10:39.660 Not good enough.

00:10:41.560 Not going to cut it.

00:10:42.880 We want a full permanent end to the mandates without preconditions.

00:10:49.660 So no, this is not a conditional situation.

00:10:52.080 We're not negotiating.

00:10:53.860 No mandates.

00:10:54.660 And that's why this has been so strategically advantageous to the truckers.

00:10:59.060 You're actually seeing the principles of fifth-generation warfare for the first time being played out in real time in front of our eyes.

00:11:05.120 Just check this morning.

00:11:06.800 Truckers are now up.

00:11:07.660 $7.5 million U.S. dollars has been raised.

00:11:11.980 And so that's from all over the place.

00:11:14.060 70,000 individual people have gone into this.

00:11:17.560 But the fact that you have the truckers up there and the fact that it's not just a protest where they're,

00:11:23.860 you know, going and parading around, honking the horns, then going back there, actually holding up commerce.

00:11:30.180 This is something that has actual teeth to it.

00:11:33.260 And that's why Trudeau is digging in.

00:11:35.780 Because he can't allow truckers in other countries to get the idea that this is how you end the mandates.

00:11:43.460 That this is how you shut it all down.

00:11:45.400 That you actually put pressure and stress on the system like this.

00:11:49.220 And if you look at Canada's population or Canada's economy, they are much, much more reliant on trade than the U.S. is.

00:11:56.220 So the question is, if U.S. truckers, right, flip it around.

00:11:59.920 If U.S. truckers were to start blockading bridges and thoroughfares between the U.S. and Canada from our direction,

00:12:06.060 or from the U.S. and Mexico, would it be enough economic, right, enough economic leverage to get people in the United States to shut down their mandates?

00:12:18.220 Kind of the next question.

00:12:19.940 Because if you're someone who's been living under these lockdowns, supporting the lockdowns in major cities,

00:12:24.740 supporting places like, for example, Washington, D.C., the National Capital Region, regime-occupied region, where I sit right now,

00:12:30.400 there is a vaccine mandate in this city.

00:12:33.100 In New York City last night, 10 people were arrested at a movie theater, a movie theater, for going in unvaccinated.

00:12:40.960 I've been going to see movies my entire life.

00:12:42.640 I've never had to show anyone a card.

00:12:44.340 I've never had to show anyone a card to sit down in a restaurant.

00:12:47.020 This is unprecedented.

00:12:48.280 And don't let them tell you that it's normal, because it's not.

00:12:52.220 They are the ones trying to change things.

00:12:54.240 They are the ones trying to remake society.

00:12:56.120 They are the ones trying to institute this great reset with ESGs and BlackRock and the Fed and everything else that's going on.

00:13:01.960 They are trying to institute a new form of society.

00:13:05.700 And I said before, it's not about health.

00:13:08.220 It's not about mandates.

00:13:09.620 It's about power.

00:13:13.920 Now, don't forget, folks, if you want to support us, if you want to support yourselves, upgrade your sleep system now to go to mypillow.com slash POSO.

00:13:48.980 This next story is something that shouldn't come as a surprise if you've been paying attention, but it doesn't make it any less shocking.

00:13:58.540 From TheFederalist.com.

00:14:00.700 The Inspector General has opened up an investigation to determine if the Capitol Police have been illegally spying on members of Congress, their staff, or visitors to their offices.

00:14:12.520 This is by the great Sean Davis.

00:14:14.420 So the IG is opening up this report because we've seen a situation now where congressmen have come out and said that the Capitol Police are spying on them, compiling dossiers on them.

00:14:28.020 Apparently, the Capitol Police have an intelligence arm, and they're using that to compile dossiers of congressmen and their staff who they believe could be potential insurrectionists.

00:14:40.080 What the heck is going on right now?

00:14:42.440 Well, Congressman Troy Nels is one of the people who's been front and center with this, and he's telling a story that back in November 2021, he's got all the data on this, a Capitol Police officer entered his congressional office.

00:14:56.200 This is he's out of Texas, took a photo of a whiteboard in Nels' legislative office, detailing various legislative plans being considered by Nels and his staff.

00:15:04.680 In a formal police report filed several days after the incident, the officer wrote that he'd been conducting a routine security patrol and saw that one of the doors was open.

00:15:14.500 He then found a whiteboard that contained suspicious writings mentioning body armor.

00:15:20.560 The officer reportedly took a photo of the whiteboard and then passed it around to the intelligence arm of the Capitol Police.

00:15:27.580 They then dispatched a three plainclothes intelligence officers dressed as construction workers to Nels' office to find out what was going on.

00:15:37.900 Well, Nels has been completely open about this, and he says, we were talking about Chinese-made body armor that was coming into the United States, and they were trying to get it to be sold to the United States government.

00:15:49.080 Obviously, that's fraud, and someone actually pled guilty to this.

00:15:53.720 But then they found a map with an X on it, a map of the Capitol with an X on it.

00:15:59.020 Wow, this is just terrifying.

00:16:01.380 The Rayburn House office building.

00:16:03.640 It's part of the Capitol complex.

00:16:04.960 And they said, a map with an X on it, what could this be?

00:16:08.620 Could this be a plan?

00:16:09.700 Could this be some nefarious plot to conduct a body armor-like, right, right, combine the body armor with the map?

00:16:19.300 What is the X on the map?

00:16:23.020 Well, my friends, I'm here to tell you that map was an ice machine, and they drew it for their intern to go get ice from the ice machine.

00:16:33.660 And I know it's disturbing.

00:16:35.260 I know.

00:16:36.180 But bear with me.

00:16:37.900 This is the world we live in now.

00:16:39.360 Look, why are they targeting this congressman?

00:16:41.280 It's obvious.

00:16:41.820 The Capitol police are targeting this guy.

00:16:43.240 Why?

00:16:44.160 Well, go look.

00:16:45.280 This is one of the few congressmen who's been out there calling for an investigation into the shooting death of Ashley Babbitt.

00:16:51.680 I don't know of a department in the country that could just – how could that shooting be justified?

00:16:56.960 Is there any way to justify that?

00:17:00.900 No.

00:17:02.120 Greg, it was murder.

00:17:04.140 I've been a lawman for 30 years.

00:17:05.800 I've had – when I was a sheriff, I had deputies shoot and kill suspects.

00:17:10.260 I've had deputies shot.

00:17:11.960 I had blue-on-blue incidents where one of my deputies ended up shooting another deputy and killing them.

00:17:17.280 The point is I understand a little bit about use of force.

00:17:20.080 I understand a little bit about grand juries.

00:17:22.140 This shooting should have at least gone to a grand jury.

00:17:25.300 But the Department of Justice had no intent to do a thorough investigation.

00:17:29.820 The shooting took place January 6th.

00:17:32.080 By April already, they said no charges.

00:17:34.960 We're not going to pursue charges against Lieutenant Byrd.

00:17:37.580 The video is quite clear.

00:17:39.820 It was murder.

00:17:40.920 It's wild.

00:17:41.980 And he's walking around with a gun, maybe.

00:17:44.280 I've never heard of anything like this before.

00:17:46.440 In the 10 years that I've been in Washington, D.C., I've never heard of the Capitol police utilized in a way such as this.

00:17:53.520 It almost feels like they're becoming Speaker Pelosi's Praetorian Guard.

00:17:56.780 That if you are against the politics of the regime, you will now be investigated.

00:18:03.480 You'll be spied upon.

00:18:05.040 We'll come up with any evidence that we can find and start opening investigations and writing reports.

00:18:12.340 Understand what point in the movie you're in.

00:18:18.120 You're with me.

00:18:20.100 And I said no.

00:18:21.940 I just wanted to say what's up.

00:18:23.760 And I was just like, what's this guy's problem?

00:18:25.740 And I looked at my boss.

00:18:29.640 And in that moment, he puts his hand down his pants and starts aggressively.

00:18:34.540 Can you start that over?

00:18:35.540 You're talking about Don.

00:18:36.300 Go ahead.

00:18:37.120 Yeah.

00:18:37.400 So after he says, do you like me?

00:18:40.220 Is that why you're effing with me?

00:18:42.020 And I said, no.

00:18:42.980 I just wanted to say what's up, man.

00:18:44.740 And I look at my boss. 0.73

00:18:45.860 And I look back and he has his hand in his pants, rubbing himself aggressively.

00:18:50.720 And he shoves his two fingers up underneath my mustache, thrusts my head back and says, do you like your?

00:18:59.140 And he said it like two or three times after that. 0.99

00:19:01.320 And I just said, what the f***, man? 0.99

00:19:03.520 And I just ran out the back door. 0.96

00:19:04.980 So forgive my indelicate question, but.

00:19:09.880 Well, in another story from the respectful and just well-oiled machine that is the news outlet of CNN, probably the most prestigious news outlet in the world.

00:19:22.060 Probably the galaxy, the universe.

00:19:25.680 Don Lemon, CNN's erstwhile late night host, is going to be going on trial, right?

00:19:32.900 In a sexual assault lawsuit.

00:19:35.920 Wait, Don Lemon's going on trial?

00:19:37.800 Yes, a jury trial has been ordered for Don Lemon.

00:19:41.360 And of course, I'm sure you're hearing this everywhere, right?

00:19:44.160 It's on the top of every screen.

00:19:46.020 You got the notifications across your phone, right?

00:19:48.900 Everyone's talking about Don Lemon's trial.

00:19:50.720 This is the top story in the country, right?

00:19:53.600 Of course, obviously, not a peep.

00:19:57.180 But out of PJ Media, who does fantastic work, I encourage you to follow them.

00:20:01.180 They've got the story because they've actually been following it.

00:20:04.740 And Matt Bargales has written it up.

00:20:06.820 After more than two years of delays due to a lengthy discovery process in COVID-19, Don Lemon will soon be going to court.

00:20:12.760 An order for a jury trial was entered into the court system on December 20th, 2021 by a federal judge in New York.

00:20:19.860 The lawsuit continues.

00:20:49.000 This is disturbing allegations.

00:20:52.040 Forcing the plaintiff's head thrust backwards as the defendant reportedly asked him, do you like it?

00:20:57.540 While saying this, Mr. Lemon continued to shove his fingers into the plaintiff's face with aggression and hostility.

00:21:02.820 Don Lemon has, of course, denied the wrongdoing.

00:21:05.660 But a witness says he allegedly saw the incident described in the lawsuit.

00:21:09.520 So this is actually big.

00:21:11.240 There is a potential witness to this incident.

00:21:14.280 Now, of course, right?

00:21:16.180 Unproven allegations.

00:21:17.360 It is going to a jury trial.

00:21:19.280 That is our system.

00:21:20.860 And supposedly has a witness to back this up.

00:21:23.360 Now, we don't know if there's cameras that were involved or anything like that.

00:21:26.040 But, of course, we're going to be following this trial the same way we've covered all trials.

00:21:29.900 Because we believe that when somebody makes accusations, we report on them.

00:21:35.280 But then we ask for evidence to back up those accusations.

00:21:40.260 And incidents like this, unfortunately, are hard to prove because of that standard.

00:21:44.480 But that is the standard that we have in our society.

00:21:47.380 My question is, though, why is it that you're hearing this on Human Events Daily, you're seeing this on PJ Media, but it's not trending on Twitter, you're not seeing it across Instagram, you're not finding it anywhere.

00:21:59.400 And why is that?

00:22:00.980 Because Don Lemon is part of the system.

00:22:04.600 He's part of the regime.

00:22:06.900 He is an apparatchik.

00:22:08.240 And they will protect him the same way that they've protected Alec Baldwin, who at this point seems like he got away with it.

00:22:14.360 Today, we are engaged in a final all-out battle between communistic atheism and Christianity. 0.51

00:22:25.120 The modern champions of communism have selected this as the time.

00:22:30.040 And, ladies and gentlemen, the chips are down.

00:22:32.820 They are truly down.

00:22:35.000 Those are the words of Senator Joseph McCarthy, 1950, today, February 9th,

00:22:43.340 when he gave a speech about communists in government service.

00:22:46.660 And he told us that he had a list of 205 names.

00:22:50.480 And now, I don't know if all those 205 people were actually communists, but I'll tell you something.

00:22:56.580 There were communists in government service.

00:22:58.900 And there are.

00:22:59.880 And he told us that communists were infiltrating our institutions.

00:23:03.040 And you know what?

00:23:03.960 He was right about that.

00:23:05.040 So, folks, remember our motto, be good, be brief, be gone.

00:23:09.300 Your homework, share this out, five-star review.

00:23:12.020 Ladies and gentlemen, you have my permission to lay ashore.
